Working on a Website!

Hey, everyone! I've been given the thought of making a website for the blog. So all the resources that I've been listing and classifying can be found easily by pressing the button.

New Things:

1. Visibility

I can find more resources for you so you can find other blogs that love to share this knowledge and help you improve as an artist.

2. Organization

Easier to find the resources in your markers on Google. Even when I needed to use this post for a project, I had to search by the tag and find the right now I need in that moment.

3. New Sections

New sections can be created for example: Websites or Blogs about how to use Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Blender 3d... Others!

Because there are lots of people who know these tricks to learn and use that kind of software.

4. Donations

Also, I've been considering that I've been doing a lot of work to make this blog for the last few years. And especially when I've been doing this last post with the resources while I was with the job I keep doing, my personal life matters, and my art career.

So I'm really saying that you would send donations

like 1/2$ in my Ko-fi. Would be really kind of you.

Because I know that all of you no matter that you like Art as a lifestyle, job career even as a hobby. These kinds of tools have to be easy to find and you can improve as artists.

The only thing I needed to improve was the type of shading and lighting, although I will probably only do this once every 30 drawings -_-

Extra: I was thinking of making an extra sketch to accompany the drawing but since I couldn't think of anything and I'm also very lazy, I decided to leave this drawing alone ( ￣ー￣)ﾉ

Let 2025 be your year of NO

I was watching an interview recently with Yara Shahidi, where she talked about having a year of No and a year of Yes. This got me thinking about how many times I’ve said yes to things when really I wanted to say no.

Don’t want to go out to a club or a party. Say no. Don’t have the energy to hangout. Say no. Only have a budget to spend money on your meal and no one else’s. Say no. Someone wants to take you out, but you’re not interested. Politely decline and say no. People offer you more to eat and you are already full. Say no. Feel like the job you are being offered isn’t giving you your worth. Say no. Don’t want to be around people you don’t care for. Say no. No longer taking less than you deserve. Walk away and say no.

Some of these examples may seem ridiculous but people pleasing happens on minor levels. Stop the habit of saying YES when you want to say NO. Try it with something small. At first you might feel a little strange but once you get in the habit of it, you start to feel like you are standing up for yourself. You don’t have to say no to everything, but understand your time and worth is precious. Everything and everyone does not deserve your energy.

This is a form of self love. You have to be able to put yourself first.

I reworked my Jaggi gunner set from a coupla weeks ago (old on left). I think I like the new one better - if I'm going to get my proportions wrong, I should at least have some fun with it!

Some of my notes (sorry to lovers of accuracy and realism). Personally, I don't think you need to redraw something from start to finish to learn from it, it's usually enough to make notes of what you can do better next time and move on to the next piece

In this case it was worth it for me just to see the difference in the silhouettes!

Spoilers for Kevin Can Fuck Himself

The scene where Patty yells at Allison for constantly involving her in her bullshit, and then Allison walks into the kitchen and the lights are bright? And Kevin is nowhere to be seen, but the laugh track plays when Neil falls out of the closet? When they bicker? When Neil is choking Allison and the colors are still bright and garish?

AND THEN the minute Patty hits him, the colors go dark. Suddenly Neil exists in the real world and doesn't carry the jokiness of Kevin into every room with him anymore. At Kevin's birthday dinner Neil and Pete in a room alone constituted enough of Kevin to brighten into laugh track zone. At the beginning of this scene Neil is still carrying the manchild laugh track brightness with him.

And then in the next episode, he's tied up in the basement with a bleeding head wound, and the colors are dark and normal, and he can't bring the laugh track with him anymore. Suddenly the world he lives in is only bright when Kevin is there. He comes down to earth with a bump and it rattles him.

I gave in and gave my hellpark oc a redesign😔 things I improved is that he's just Pocket's childhood friend, he has a scarf Pocket made him before getting sick, and he was locked under a rock for about 6 years because he tried attack I ng Damien after getting cheated on by him with Pip also making him the more violent type and he doesn't let anyone within a 10 foot distance of him or he stabs them with his tail. His tail is an estimated 30 feet long and he's 6'12 and a few inches taller than Pocket but his legs are injured so he often can't stand up straight or he can't stand at all.
