A Prissy Girl’s Guide to Spring

since i won’t be active on tumblr when next spring comes around, and i’ve done 3/4 seasons, i felt it was appropriate to go ahead and finish the series! if you find yourself inspired by my aesthetic/looks, you can absolutely use this as a guide for the next primavera season! 🐇

• So, when you both just started dating he was pretty inexperienced and usually went to ask Sam or Dean for advice

• Would definitely interrogate you about nicknames

• He tried testing out those cringy nicknames like "Honeypie" or "Hotcakes". You thought it was cute when it came from him though

• "Hey Hotcakes, would you like to go for a food run with me? Dean is out of beer."

• But he decided after a while to stick with something more simple like "My love/Love" or "Angel"

• He likes calling you his angel because you're special to him and he sees you as his equal

• Cas tries his best to go out on dates with you every chance he gets

• And when he wants to take you out to somewhere more romantic than a diner (like a picnic under the stars), he asks begs Dean to let him borrow Baby and tries his best to impress you

• Cas wasn't really fond of hugs at first (he was pretty awkward with physical touch when you just started dating), but he gets used to it after a while

Wait wait i think i know why the earring in the new jade card is not on the good side, maybe he will do like vanessa in the little mermaid and take the place of Floyd or maybe i'm crazy!?

I don’t think Jade will be “taking” Floyd’s place if you mean he’ll pretend to be his twin? His eye shape is pretty distinguishable, and the way he dresses is a giveaway too. I don’t see what the point of them swapping would be, because assuming Floyd has to be present at the celebration, Jade would probably have to be there too?? But if Jade is pretending to be Floyd then obviously one brother is still missing.

I could see Jade going in Floyd’s place (like only Floyd was initially expected to show) or just attending the event by himself if only because Floyd got invited too but gets moody and refuses to join or got busy with something else.

I’ve heard the theory, but I find it makes even less sense than the “Jade is pretending to be Floyd” theory discussed above. Again, they have completely different eye shapes and styles of dressing. I also highly doubt that Floyd of all people would be able to consistently maintain the charade. And, most of all, I don’t understand why the marketing materials + announcement for the event would very clearly label the card as SSR Jade if it was actually SSR Floyd. Makes absolutely zero sense to me 🙂‍↕️

As I said in another post (linked at the beginning of this one), my current theory is something akin to what Floyd did in his Outdoor Wear card?? He brought along the eel mascot keychain to honor Jade, who wasn’t able to come along.

I’m guessing that Jade is wearing his earring on the other side for either a cultural/holiday-related reason or to represent Floyd, who wasn’t able to (or refused to) be present. At a wedding, formal attire is expected, so you have less liberty with accessories and probably can’t bring along a goofy item like Floyd did. The easiest way for Jade to “bring” Floyd’s spirit with him is to just swap the ear in which he wears his earring.

It’s hard to say if Floyd will be present in the event or not since we don’t have a plot synopsis 🤷‍♀️ If it’s something like a relative or Leech business partner’s wedding, both twins will probably be told to show. But again, we do not know what the context for the event is yet.

Personally, I do think it’s possible Floyd appears since the possibility was presented in A Firelit Sky. However, because he’s not a character with a new outfit, Floyd will likely be kept busy with something else while the rest of us do things as a group. This would be similar to how Kalim had to stay put and help with fireworks festival preparations while Jamil shows the others around Silk City. dnvsjwnwlw In Floyd’s case… it might be him being wrestled by a ton of stylists and squeezed into a suit and tie that he doesn’t want to be in 😅

This is an outdoor picture I took of the Zorua and Hisuian Zorua plush keychains from the Parallel Pairs line at the US Pokémon Center. Unlike their Japanese counterparts, they don’t have magnets to stick them together securely. I really like the expressions on these two! Unovan Zorua seems like the more outgoing, self-assured, and comedic of the two, while Hisuian Zorua seems to be more responsible, polite, and introverted.

life update 02/10/25 - gardening, seed starting, website, markets, etc etc

things have been super hectic and busy busy busy but i wanted to do a big update on life stuff so hereeeee we goooooo

so i did a market yesterday yippee!!! i had a lot of fun and even though i spent more than i made, i still believe it was a success and very worth it! here's photos of our booth, because i teamed up with two of my friends! one provided art prints, keychains, and stickers to sell while the other sold bead bracelets and crochet pieces! and lil ol' me sold my plants and paintings as usual!

i was really proud of our setup, and it looked great! i now own the canopy, a-frame sign, and the smaller table because i got them for free from a local closing business. it's sad that they're shutting down, but i'm thankful they gave me so much great stuff to use for markets! in the future, i hope to improve my setup even more - i saw a couple other outdoor vendors with rugs and racks and hanging curtains, and i might try some of those ideas in the future too!

i also started my new job at a local creative reuse center! my official job title is reuse & education specialist, which means i manage front-end store operations, process donations, coordinate with volunteers, assist with educational outreach and events, and more! it's been really fun honestly, and we get so many cool and weird donations! here's quite a few that i snagged photos of (the haunted doll's name is patty lmaooo)!

i also started working in the garden a bit during the couple of warm days we'd been having! i know i probably shouldn't have, but i did buy some new bags of soil to put down for those original flower beds i made up against my back deck. i also bought these window boxes forever ago that i intended on putting on the back deck railing, and so i finally started filling them with dirt and seeds that need to be cold-stratified, so i'm hopeful they'll grow? maybe, idk and don't really have a lot of experience with cold stratification other than knowing you can refridgerate seeds that need it.

i also have hopeful, tentative plans for the front yard flower beds i was working on a while ago, so i'll update you on that if i end up working on it. but in the meantime, here are the photos from my backyard.

in the window box planters that are now on the deck, i planted one with lavender seeds, one with poppy seeds, and one with cilantro seeds (i know these don't need cold stratification but i had handfuls of just loose seeds that fell out of the packet and there were SO MUCH loose seeds that i just threw them into the pot tbh). i also did throw down some more cold stratification seeds on that dirt that i placed, i think i planted: lavender, bee balm, assorted poppies, st. john's wort, joe pye weed, and white yarrow! i kinda just sprinkled them out as much as i could throughout the soil, so hopefully they grow? i'm kinda just messing around tbh. my violas are also still going on strong, and my butterfly bush will get up-potted in the late spring i think!

i've also been starting seeds indoors!

they're all nicely labeled and i also admittedly started a bunch of sweetie cherry tomatoes just bc i'm *eager* okay i want to be back in the garden so badly!!!

i'm not able to upload more photos into this post, but this is mostly everything that's been going on! things have been good honestly, even though i got sick with the flu for a bit! i hope you're all doing well!

My very last matchup for a while! This has been in the drafts for... so long.

So, I've decided to match you to Akaashi Keiji!

If you've read any of my other matchups, you'd probably know that I tend to match opposite personalities together; I've said this more times than I can remember. But in some cases, I find that many couples I know have very similar personalities, so it isn't all that rare.

Since we know how Akaashi can be hard on himself, he's relatively experienced in keeping himself in check, although he can let it get out of hand sometimes. I can see this as being something you and him can work on together, with him being able to point it out to you and tell you. In the same fashion, you might be able to calm him down when he's feeling a little out of it, using the advice he'd given you.

From what I can tell, you seem like the type of person who's sticks to themselves (which I might be wrong about!). This leads me to imagine that most of the hangouts between the two of you would probably take place at someplace quiet; one of your homes, a large park, small cafe or something like that. But every once in a while, you'd go somewhere else more open; an aquarium or an amusement park like what you mentioned. On that same note, I could see you two probably going to an escape room together, or even to one of those cafe's that you can do arts and crafts (cake decorating, keychain making, phone-case designing, painting e.g.,)

The reason why I mentioned my assumption is that I can see him a person who might be able to bring you out of your shell a little. Out of the two of you, he definitely seems more like the open type. I can see him indirectly telling you about different things that he thinks you might take note of; "I saw this Ad for a free outdoor theatre, what do you think?" Something a little different to what you might do, but he’ll change it up each time. I can see Akaashi as the type of person who really looks into the growth of another person. Though, he wouldn't force you to go to one of these new places if you're genuinely uninterested or uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if this is something that he does, but I can definitely also see him as a person who has his school items organised. (when I think organisation, I usually think of stationery, notebooks - stuff like that). From what I've seen, a glimpse into someone’s bag might be reminiscent of what goes on in their head. That might sound confusing or random, but it’s sort of an aesthetic thing I imagined that also matches between the two of you. That being said, I can see you two having some matching stationery items; pens, notebooks, erasers. It'd probably be because you two went to do your stationery shopping together and ended up picking similar items.

Heres a small scenario I've imagined:

The sound of raindrops hitting the roof filled your ears as you lay on your bed, eyes closed and taking in all the sound. All day, you were thinking of the moment you'd get to slump onto your bed. So the sound of the sudden rain soothed your fast-pacing brain as you prepared to wind down.

Your phone suddenly sounded from your bedside table. Shifting to the side, the light emitting from it shone brightly over your half lidded eyes, forcing them open. After turning down the brightness, you checked the notification that sounded moments before.

It was Akaashi; you had barely gotten to speak to him all day. You had your head down in the books during class, working away in preparation for exams. Sure, you had said good morning and spoken to him a handful of times, but you weren't able to hold a lasting conversation with each other even once.

'He'd probably be walking home by now.' You thought to yourself as you checked the time before responding.

"Yeah, just taking a rest"

You scrolled through social media, waiting for a response which arrived in the form a call. Answering the phone, his voice spoke, the sound of the trickling rain lingering in the background. He asked you about your day, if you had eaten properly, made sure you were resting comfortably, asked about how you were handling exam prep and so on.

He made plans with you to come over another day once it was sunnier. He offered to take you to a cafe, joking about being the subject of your photography.

You could've done all of that today. It wasn't as though you'd never gone anywhere in the rain together. But even without asking, he considered that you were probably tired.

He knew you wouldn't turn him down, but even if you were to go, you'd be half the person you usually were on a normal day. He was all about taking you new and different places, but he also thought of you and how you'd feel about it, especially when you were exhausted.

Suddenly the sound of rain emitting from the speaker alongside his voice, subsided.

"Finally got home." He chuckled.

"Are you going.. to have dinner..?"

You might not have noticed it, but your speech was slurring, your eyelids becoming heavier with each blink.

“..Yep.” He sighed.

Eventually, you stopped responding as he realised you’d fallen asleep on the other line.

Once you had woken up, you noticed the phone was still beside your head, in the same place you had left it before dozing off.

"..Hello?" You spoke, seeing that the call had lasted multiple hours without the line being closed.

Though, instead of a response, soft breathing was all you heard from the other end. Waiting for you to wake up, he too had fallen asleep.

Story

Character Details A first-year high school student at Kokatsu Academy who always looks mysterious and likes to call himself the "Chosen One".

Personal Data 1 Kurotani claims that he has a mysterious power, and for some unknown reason, he also calls me a Chosen One selected by fate, his companion in destiny. Kurotani also insists that a "major threat" has invaded the school, and everyone is in danger... though no one seems to understand what he wants to say.

Personal Data 2 In order to investigate the threat, Kurotani took me to the "Destroyed Land" at the school, and told me a story about the Demon King and how his remains were buried there. However, a passing teacher told us that the so-called "Destroyed Land" is actually just a cat toilet...

Personal Data 3 Our second investigation took us to the "Howling Corridor", but Kurotani, the Chosen One with a mysterious power, is unexpectedly very afraid of Japanese ghosts... It turned out that the so-called "Howling Corridor" was just a drama club member. The girl was practicing her acting skills, so it was a false alarm.

Personal Data 4 Our third investigation was the "Assassination Juice". After some running around, Kurotani discovered that it was actually just a classmate named Take who was buying all the juice. But it seems that Take is deliberately hiding some secret that makes people care...

Personal Data 5 After further investigation, it was discovered that Take is being bullied by a group of delinquents who claimed to be his good friends. At a critical moment, Kurotani stood up in time to protect Take. Although the momentary crisis has passed, it seems that the matter is still not over...

Personal Data 6 In our fourth investigation, Kurotani and I went to the legendary "Devil's Multimedia Classroom" to look for the girl who sent a love letter to Kurotani... In the end, we didn't find a girl, but got locked in the classroom. When we finally got out, we saw the figure of Take... Why did he lock us in?

Personal Data 7 After Kurotani and I met with Take, Take admitted that he was coerced by his "good friends"... The angry Kurotani reprimanded Take and told him to learn to say no, but he did not expect Take, who had always been taciturn, to suddenly refute him angrily... We were so lucky to be able to see Stray Kids on their dominATE tour! We saw them on May 24th in Seattle and this post is so late lol

Stray Kids is one of those groups that seemed unreachable for a concert and it was thanks to Suji fighting the ticketmaster war that we even got to go. It was a whole ordeal getting the tickets, communicating between the three of us as fast as possible to get the tickets.

As usual, we had our mini meme photocard freebies and keychains this year! We went for a conservative 48 and it really did not feel like enough - there were so many people!

For the concert itself, it was so much fun. It was our first outdoor stadium and it had a completely different vibe than indoor concerts. The fact that it started while the sun was still out and there were fireworks was incredible.

But there were some cons as well, mostly with the sound balance. It was hard to hear them singing or talking.

The concert was three hours and it felt like we heard a fraction of SKZ discography. They performed all their big hits ("Gods Menu" "Back Door" "S-Class" etc.) but there were some surprising songs on the setlist as well and Yeaji was most excited for "Lonely St." (She almost cried lol).

There's a few more concerts we have lined up for this year and we're so excited!

I'm so happy to meet @valkyrieres for the first time in real life! We met at the museum and outdoor places for Res to show a few of her collection. And to see and feel them in real life is totally different than seeing it on the picture. I wish I had as much collection as her! I only had Finn McMissile, Lightning McQueen, and Jeff Gordon that was gifted by my old friend of mine.

She even generously gifted me Maru diecast which is something that I can't thank her enough.

We went together to the museum of transportation and also museum of firefighters! Funny story that we have when we visited the museum of firefighters, the fireman seems so eager when we come and have a look inside, and so eager to answer our questions. I guess that most people rarely visit the museum of firefighters, which is kinda sad. At the front of the museum, they had this fire truck that makes me think it's similar to Mayday.

We discuss things both Cars and Planes and also personal stuff along the way we walk together, and I appreciate every minute, and every discussion spent with her. I never discuss with someone about Cars and Planes, and it was the best time that I've ever had in my life. I wish that I could ever meet her maybe once a week or once a month, but sadly I'm moving back to my hometown, which is thousands of kilometers away. It seems that I'm destined to live far away from my internet friends.

Res, if you read this, thank you for giving the chances for us to meet in real life, spent time and discuss things with me. Thank you so much for Maru diecast and Blade/Nick/Dusty keychain that you used to make. Now my keychain doesn't have to be silver and colorless anymore haha. Thank you for giving me a ride to my shuttle bus. I pray for you and your family all the best, dan semoga dimudahkan dalam mengerjakan skripsinya sampai bisa lulus tepat waktu ya. Since vograce allows me to buy tiny quantities I am like fuck it, give me acrylic keychain Temir.

.....however, putting a teal mech on teal acrylic is not one of my smartest moments.

Also vograce forgot to send me the acrylic swatch set so I don't know what all the whole rainbow of options looks like. Hopefully they get back to me and send the things.
