Life Lessons Learned If you knew your time was almost up—really knew it—what would you say? What would you cling to? What would you let go of? That’s not just a hypothetical. For many, that question becomes very real in the face of illness, aging, tragedy, or divine revelation. And that’s exactly the setting in which we find Joshua, the faithful leader of Israel, in today’s readings from Joshua…

From the Bottom Up
My Journey to Redemption There was a time in my life when I didn’t know who I was. I was 19 years old when I got married, and by 23, I was divorced. I had no real family around—just friends and coworkers who became my support system. I clung to them, and before I knew it, I was mirroring their lives: late nights, partying, weed smoking, and chasing a lifestyle that was never meant for me. One…

the lesson to be learned from the last couple years, for anybody interested in starting a new militant extremist group or struggling to give their old, boring one a fresh boost, is there are zero downsides to using child soldiers.
you heard that right. zero.
you may already be considering child soldiers. after all, why spend years feeding and waiting for children to grow up to turn them into cannon fodder when they’re right there right now, and so easy to mold in their present state.
but you may be hesitating.
after all, wouldn’t using child soldiers damage your optics? won’t it make more people hate you? won’t they join your enemies to stop your unforgivable war crimes?
it’s understandable that you might assume this, but fret not! your dreams of using child soldiers are firmly within your grasp. rest assured, using child soldiers will not negatively impact your standing in the international community or lead to any adverse consequences for you whatsoever.
how can this be? you may ask.
let me tell you—and believe me you’re going to love this—if anyone fights against you, they’ll be killing children. no one will care about your war crimes now; you’re fighting child-killers!
not only do you gain more bodies as canon-fodder, and moldable minds, but now you also get a PR boost; it’s a win-win-win!
so what are you waiting for? get out there and start your army of child soldiers today!

What your favorite TWST character says about you :)
As a note before I begin: I saw one of these that shamed malleus and randomly even chenya enjoyers- (claimed that they were pick mes or something? 😭) so i wanted to make one that was more positive out of spite <3 make it more about the writing and why people appreciate the characters. Take each of these with a grain of salt i spose- also a lot of them share similar themes <3
(Aka fans who have different views or even blatantly incorrect views of characters will always exist everywhere, but insulting the entirety of a group solely for enjoying a character, many for different reasons, is probably not a great idea!
I get that sometimes people suck and thats understandable, but quit generalizing ok? Ok.
From a malleus enjoyer who just thinks hes a silly little guy and im tired of feeling like i have to defend myself bc he's my blorbo 😵💫)
Final note: i love unapologetically taking frustration and turning it into something that can make people smile 💕 also i blindly wrote this from 11pm-midnight :))) dividers by @/cafekitsune!
Heartslabyul:
Riddle: you enjoy and/or relate to the idea of healing from the past. Working hard to improve oneself for the ones around you and yourself: creating a healthier environment where you can be happy
Trey: there is immense complexity in things that are seemingly mundane. Digging deeper and deeper to find something truly sweet and heart warming is your joy.
Cater: maybe you relate, or maybe you used to, or maybe parts of the connections made in the past/presence/future dont feel as deep as you truly want them to be. There is something beautiful about a desire for genuine human connection, but also peace in being alone. There is a safe space for you yet, just be patient. 💕
Deuce: you love drive and determination. An endless stubbornness that keeps one going against all odds. Against every person who tells someone they cant. You watch them get proven wrong, and its pure bliss.
Ace: you find the connection between people beyond words heartwarming: even the seemingly simple ones. The ability to have a connection with someone who can get up to some mischief, tease back and forth, yet be there when you need them to be one of the most valuable things.
Savanaclaw:
Leona: Adversity over a lack of belief in oneself is a very difficult thing to overcome- yet it is very possible with the right crowd, the right amount of time, healing, and effort. You think someone's worth lies more than just within their title/job/appearance, but within the fact that they are able to stand back up and keep moving onward despite the odds. The hope for that change, and the ability to get out of bed in the morning on its own is strength.
Ruggie: Despite being through so much trauma at such a young age, recovery happens anyway. Its not perfect, at times the lessons learned are even rough. The survival tactics that once helped are now hard to ditch when theyre not needed anymore, but the ability to smile and joke and keep pushing onwards is something you value in life.
Jack: Self discipline can be both extremely useful as well as harmful in different ways. You find the way people can constantly strive to better themselves at what they love and/or morally to be highly admirable.
Octavinelle:
Azul: People can be cruel. And sometimes that cruelty inspires cruelty. Sometimes its simply used as a way to move on and survive insecurities created from it. Its hard, its a fight, but those insecurities are part of what make people beautiful. They are nothing to be ashamed of, and even the many tactics and smart ways of learning to overcome cruelness can be beautiful too.
Jade: The mind is extremely powerful. Intelligence and knowledge are not the only important things, no. Using that intel to find entertainment in the surrounding world can be exhilarating. Finding and discovering new unknowns: learning their ins and outs until they're a part of you is something you can relate to.
Floyd: speaking of fun- you love what is essentially the written version of a roller coaster. Ups and downs, ins and outs. Every single twist and turn is exhilarating and new. Every different perspective provides new insight into a multitude of different things. You are along for the ride, and you are having a lovely time.
Scarabia:
Jamil: self discovery can be very difficult after purposefully suppressing parts of one's self for a long time. Yet, the healing happens anyway (once again aha <3). People discover new parts of themselves, slowly becoming more comfortable not only with their environment, but how they react to it. The discovery is freedom, and freedom is bliss to you. New traits about oneself bloom like a flower: if not in the soil, then stubbornly in the cracks of cement. You gently take that bloom from the concrete and pot it, placing it gingerly in a beam of sunlight.
Kalim: Happiness isnt only sunshine to the one smiling, but to everyone else around them. It is delightfully infectious. However, happiness isnt a constant. You think emotions all emotions should be experienced rather than suppressed, because holding back sadness for the sake of others is a disservice to one's self. Discovering your own emotions, any range of them, is what makes people uniquely human. If anyone is holding those emotions back- hell, any part of them back, they need to be let out of the cage.
Pomefiore:
Vil: "Beauty is on the inside" is a saying thats been around for a long time, but beauty comes in so many forms. It can come from the stubborn desire to improve one's self: to be kinder, to help those around you, to be good. However it is impossible to be perfect. At times, for some, this can be crushing. People are hurt unintentionally, natural frustration can brew, the wrong actions can be taken: and thats okay. You believe whats important is to pick yourself up and keep going. To err is to be human, and that is beautiful too.
Rook: Error is beautiful. Symmetry is beautiful. Asymmetry is beautiful. A crack in the side walk is beautiful. Small things are beautiful, big things are beautiful. The nurturing of something through endless care is beautiful. The undeniable traits and hobbies of every individual that make them unique are beautiful. You find the endless optimism in finding beauty to be, in itself, beautiful.
Epel: Sometimes people will view others in ways that they wish not to be perceived as. This isnt in our control, as much as we sometimes want it to be. All you can do i be unapologetically yourself. To be you to the utmost degree. To prove those who thought otherwise to be foolish. You find this strength to find value in yourself despite others opinions admirable.
Ignihyde:
Idia: you have depression /j
Ok for real-
Life can be such a cunt. It can beat a person down, down, down and leave them vulnerable enough to fear it. To fear that beating, whenever it may next come. The anxiety of never knowing what or who will come next, or what one could lose. At times it feels more comforting to find a routine in solitude. But you know that the small things that give joy will wiggle their way in with time. The broken will meet people who love and care and find comfort in the companionship of healing, even from the little things: like a new story to read or game to play.
Ortho: You value unconditional support. Support through everything: the good, the bad, the just kind of okay. Knowing that someone can have ones back for every little thing- to be there solely because they care and wish the best for others- is something you look up to and maybe even wish to be for another.
Diasomnia:
Malleus: god damn people can be so hard to read and understand. They are so complicated: they are books you have to pay attention to from start to finish. But once you reach the end, you have a deep seated appreciation for them, and for the ones who stuck around to read your book too. Even if it was just for a fleeting moment: it is a happy moment. As painful as temporary things can be, it is also what you think can make the relationships we love and have loved so valuable.
Lilia: there can be suffering everywhere. There is war. There is famine. But there are also endless new sights to see. New discoveries to be made to help those still going through famine and war. New ways to love and understand people you never thought you'd understand. The development and positive parts of humanity, even though at times it can look bleak, are ever present to you. You love the discovery: of places and of people.
Silver: you believe that there is solace in being your own individual, regardless of who you are bound by blood to. Being shaped my experiences, friends, hardships, and new places are what make a person who they are. You value finding roots in and making your own home.
Sebek: Dedication can be a hard thing to come by, but when it does it can grab someone by the reigns. Using every waking moment to cherish that thing, learn more about it, become better at something, and strive to better ones self can be very admirable to you. But, on the other hand, it also calls for the occasional rest.
OTHER (just for ones I know well enough, sorry!)
Neige: You love kindness despite hardship. One can go through horrible things and still choose to be kind. The world could begin to end, and one could still choose to be kind, because it means everything.
Chenya: Curiosity fuels exploration. It fuels art. It fuels everything. It fuels excitement. It fuels friendships. It fuels medicine. It fuels life. Curiosity is endlessly fun, and you think that is very whimsical
Meleanor: Sacrifice for others can be tragic. Knowing what another person has given up for someone else, maybe even everything, is gut wrenching but undeniably a selfless love to you.
Crewel: There can be kindness in strictness. In teachings, there can be a parental guide. There can be someone who cares for you and undeniably wants you to succeed. They know that you can, so they push you towards it. You want this support.
Trein: Love surpasses time. When the ones we love are gone, the memories of them are still held close, with the love once given to them, we can show to others through advice and guidance that comes with time. You find comfort in that.
Crowley: People are flawed. We all know this, yet despite a persons flaws... however many there may be, there is still something hopeful and human about it. About having those flaws and persisting regardless. You may even like those flaws, and the unashamed desire to press on even with them on display.
Fellow/Ernesto: Live for yourself. This is what you desire. People are often caught up in material or monetary things. After all, we live in a world that required it to survive and even be respected. To throw away those views and simply live as you see fit: regardless as to whether you earn those things or not, is something you admire.
Rollo: Sometimes the attachment we have to those we lost can be painful. Regardless, that pain is proof that there was care and love. The things done for others, whether alive or dead, are done selflessly. Grief can fuel hatred, but it can also be caused by love. To unlearn hatred and learn to love again after the fear of loss is a natural human experience. It is a process you understand and admire those who take the time and strength needed to properly love again.
Thank you for reading <3

Mark variants and a Rogue reader??
Basically reader is a super with the ability to absorb physical strength or powers from the ones she touches, the only catch is that it cannot be turned off so they can't touch anyone for to long or reader will kill them
Head canons for Invincible Variants with a boyfriend that has Rogue’s powers (Mark, Sinister, Mohawk, Omni-Mark, No mask)

warnings: canon-level violence, canon-level actions, mentions of reader dying, sometimes reader matches their freak (mohawk mark), manipulation (Sinister), talks of human farms… not proof-read word count: 900 a/n: i’m aware the request says she, i’m working on the assumption the requester was referencing Rogue
Main Mark
very careful about your powers and you
you have to reassure him that he, in fact, can be within one foot of you without setting your powers off
introduces you to Debbie after the third date, warns her that you’re very touch adverse and when you’re comfortable with her knowing, he lets you explain
Debbie’s confused at first, she doesn’t understand how your powers work until you show her a video
aside from that, Mark is glad his mother likes you
when Oliver comes into the picture it’s harder to get him to understand that he cannot touch your skin
especially with him being so young, you started avoiding the house until he was old enough to really understand
literally the best if you over-use them and need to rest
converts his bedroom into an amazing recovery room + refuses to let Cecil or anyone from the GDP to go anywhere near you
you’ve mentioned once or twice they used to push you to the point of having you in comatose states
he’ll insist that you undress to something looser, more skin showing while he adds his layers
in this world you’re not over confident but not incredibly anxious about your powers- a good balance
during fighting you’re the best tag-team, though
out of all the variants you’re probably the best duo, working so well together that it’s scary
when he notices you’re aging faster than he does, he doesn’t say anything. It’s your choice, he’ll stand by whatever you do, even if it means he’s holding your hand as you pass
Sinister Mark
literally loves your powers so much it’s borderline an obsession
it’s great for when he rounds up the Resistance and uses you to torture them
he’ll drag them into a corner and sit, watching as you remove your gloves probably kicking his feet with glee
sometimes he’ll push you too far, usually on accident but other times it’s definitely on purpose
you’d made him upset and he can’t hurt you, not the love of his life
and besides it’s you who went too far. it’s not his fault you listened to him urging you to keep going and now you’re in a small coma
he takes good care of you, though, he wouldn’t just leave you to recover alone. maybe add a few condescending remarks but that’s it. he’s hoped you’ve learned your lesson because of it, though
asks you to take Eve’s powers because they’re useful, especially since you don’t have
when it gets to his cannibalism era, he loves watching as they bleed out just to get their life forced sucked away because you’ve finally fully joined him and stopped holding back
when he notices you’re aging faster than he does, he’ll ask what you want to do. If you want to live, he’ll pick off people just so you can. If you want to age and die, he won’t let you. There wasn’t an option, are you kidding? You’re his, if he lives a million years you’re going to live a million fucking years
Mohawk Mark
he’d probably use you as a shield at some point
the fight is getting boring or maybe- rarely- something he can’t fight alone and he just needs to leave
signals you over, you’re never far from him and rips your gloves off before putting your hand on whoever he’s fighting
sometimes he grabs your hand or shoulder just to see how it feels
he thinks it’s oddly satisfying and he loves watching as you get his strength for a little while
it lets him get really rough
you definitely overdo it a lot, in the beginning you were more reserved about your powers but you started to match Mark and eventually, you found yourself draining people without meaning to
not your fault they have sick ass powers
when he notices you’re aging faster than he does, Mohawk Mark starts a human farm so you can drain their life energy to stay alive. you don’t have a choice, you’re living with him. Even if he has to force you.
No Mask Mark
he seems like a very touch starved person and is a little bummed he can’t be skin-to-skin with you but he manages
sometimes he risks it, begging you for just thirty seconds because he just needs to touch you
whenever you’re together he’ll act as a human shield, shoulder-checking anyone who gets too close
you’re never allowed to walk with both your sides open to people, you always have to have a wall next to you or he’ll simply carry you wherever you’re going
you’re a lot more guarded about your powers, no skin aside from your face and MAYBE your neck
when he notices you’re aging faster than he does, he’s similar to main timeline Mark and lets you pick. Literally devastated if you decide to ride out the rest of your natural life but if you decide to drain people to live, he’s very clearly happy. He can’t lose another boyfriend, he probably would become a hermit if you decided to not extend your lifespan
Omni-man Mark
He’s probably the one who’s the most relaxed about your powers
he understands to an extent that while you’ve long since had these powers you’re reserved around them and prefer to linger in the back of fights
he keeps certain people around for the sole purpose that you take their powers during fights
literally keeps them in cages and beckons you forward, arms crossed and goes “pick.”
it’s rare, extremely rarely, that he pushes you to go completely gloveless during fights
he’s strong and fast enough to defend and attack at the same, you can worry about other things
when he notices you’re aging faster than he does, he’s similar to Sinister Mark but it’s clear there’s no choice. he’d protect himself more than you, if you decide to pass he’ll kill you before you can start growing truly old to help himself process your mortality but if you decide to live, he’ll give one nod and every so often he’ll find someone for you to drain

Jor-El: You look troubled, my son.
Clark: It’s nothing.
Jor-El: There’s definitely something on your mind. Tell me. My knowledge database of this planet and technological capabilities have significantly improved. I may be able to help.
Clark: Well… [mumbling] I think I’m in love with Batman.
Jor-El: That would be an unwise choice. You should find someone whose moral values align with yours. Compatibility is important in a relationship.
Clark: Batman is a good man!
Jor-El: Your infatuation with them has adversely affected your language skills. It should be ‘bad men are good men’. In the Earthian language, they would call a good bad man an oxymoron. I would be happy to provide an Earthian refresher course specially optimized for your learning needs. Introduction to Lesson 1-
Clark: No, I don’t need an English lesson please. Not bad men, Batman, aka Bruce Wayne. You’ve met him before.
Jor-El: I see. A wise decision, Kal. With someone as bountiful as him, Krypton 2.0 will be repopulated much earlier than our target date and all will be well-provided for. Sending out the robots for construction of the underground tunnel between the Fortress and the Wayne Manor.
Clark: W-What?!
Jor-El: As per the Earthling’s time-honored tradition, I will dispatch our delegates to inform everyone from here to Gotham of this delightful news immediately.
Clark: Wait! [hears the distant trumpeting of marching band drones and a booming “Attention citizens!”]
Jor-El: Leave the preparations to me, my son. In the meantime, please look over this schedule that I came up with for the both of you.
Clark: [stares at the schedule appearing in front of him and turning red]

Hm if Janet/ Talia happens there is a chance that Tim met Damian before the rest of the bats, which means there is also a chance that Damian prefers Tim to the rest, which means Damian might either
a) be given Robin willingly by tim
or
b) go with Tim to save Bruce
I love your brain. Fudge. We're gonna add into Lady Shiva [Sandra] too :)
Okay... Hmm... So, Talia and Janet get together in a way that both Damian and Tim know of each other.
Let's just say Jack died when Tim was five, which caused Janet to either take Tim with her or visit Gotham more often. This includes taking Tim to meet up with Talia after the two get serious.
The siblings have a seven year age gap (depending), so the theoretical youngest they can be is when Tim is seven. I would assume Talia is still somewhat enamored with Bruce... So let's say the youngest is when Tim is eight.
This is vital because this is before Tim figures out that Batman = Bruce. Tim meets his maybe brother who's one. He knows he's the son of Batman (which is really cool to the eight year old!!!), but doesn't know who Batman is nor that he should inform him.
Nine year old Tim figures out who Batman is... and does he inform his moms or keep it a secret? Either way, he doesn't tell Bruce about his two year old son. That's Tim's little brother, and he doesn't want to share with Dick (he's nine, y'all. He's intelligent, but he assumes he wouldn't become a brother to Dick. After all, Janet isn't dating Bruce too). Therefore, Tim asks for some lessons from Talia so he can continue being the cool big brother.
Talia asks Lady Shiva to come over and help out. This leads to a romance between Janet, Sandra, and Talia. Tim also becomes well-trained with the bo staff and other measures (he's not training for Bruce, but Janet won't let him kill. She thinks he should be older before making that decision for himself [since she's dating two killers, she can't really tell Tim no]. She's fine with Tim learning how to as long as he isn't actually doing it).
Lady Shiva, after seeing both of her partners with kids, tracks down twelve year old Cass. Cass thus learns to speak with Talia and Janet's resources and becomes an older sister to Tim and Damian. She will spend time with either Damian or Tim [or both if they are together] when she's not spending time with her mom (and the two of them are able to resolve their differences a bit more with Talia and Janet's help). Cass will travel with Tim sometimes to Gotham.
Damian, with Talia, Janet, and Tim around, does not become as adverse or guarded to Bruce's family. It helps that Tim gushes about the Robins and Nightwing to Damian and refers to them as Damian's brothers (but not Tim's. Thus, Tim accidentally gives Damian the mindset that Tim and the Waynes are separate groups that might fight. Damian is extremely loyal, so he'll choose the brother he's known practically his whole life over the strangers he's only heard of in stories [if it came down to a fight]).
Then Robin (Jason) dies. Damian is five and thus much too young to become Robin. Tim talks to Talia (and then Janet) about Tim stepping in.
The moms do *not* want to do this. This would mean less time with Tim, hiding his travels from the Detective, and their soon to he thirteen year old getting into harm's way (even though he's only planning to ask Dick at first).
Tim is a stubborn guy, though, so they agree as long as Tim passes a certain marker in training. It takes a few months, but the moms nervously allow Tim to do what he must. Cass goes with him, though, so they'll be more reassured. She doesn't make her presence known to the Bats, but Tim's gotten used to knowing when she's there or not.
The moms are not pleased when they realize he's Robin. They do find out that Tim is able to lie to Bruce and pretend to be a prodigy with training. Tim tells the grieving man (who's not as focused as he should be) that the kid got experience from gymnastics and mixed martial arts. That's why his base is so good. He also takes down King Snake again and excuses some of his more lethal moves (that he learns to adapt to less lethal) as training from Lady Shiva during that time. He lies that he will have no further communication with the woman (his third mom).
So Tim is a scarily efficient Robin who makes time to visit Damian and his moms (where he also receives more training). He tells Damian that he's merely holding the title of Robin for the kid if he wants it when he's older.
The timeline is a little fucky, but Tim finds out (maybe less than a month into being Robin), that Jason is alive.
At first, he's excited, relieved, and disappointed. Jason can come back to being Robin, but all of Tim's work (him putting up with Bruce's bad attitude [and no. Tim does not tell his moms about that]) is for naught.
Then he visits Jason without informing Bruce to confirm. He quickly understands that Bruce can not know about Jason in that current state. However, Tim encourages Damian to seek out a relationship with Jason (who's Damian's older brother).
Tim goes back to being Robin, and Cass finally gets caught tailing Tim. Tim vouches for her but asks Barbara to look out for her instead of Bruce. Cass is then allowed to patrol and assist Tim officially (as well as gain some independence and her own cases outside of her younger brother).
Jason becomes close with Damian before and after being shoved into a pit. This becomes fractured, however, when Tim first shows up to meet Jason again.
Jason does not like Tim and spits all the shit he did in canon. Tim becomes upset but allows Jason his space. Damian becomes upset with Jason, so Jason reluctantly starts hiding his resentment (he eventually gets to thinking of Tim as a younger brother. It takes a bit, though. It then takes a while for Tim to believe him).
Anyways, yes! Damian knows Tim will give him Robin when the time is right, and they also have healthy communication set up.

OOO I FOUND IT! I know I learned about it in history class, it was the Amago clan of ninjas 🥷 that had that saying “Those who desire only technique will never understand it's everything beyond that”. And here’s two quotes by Sensei Toshitsugu Takamatsu also known as ‘The Last Shinobi’: “How difficult is life when one is not surprised by anything and laughing, everyday.” And “Knowing that disease and disaster are natural parts of life is the key to overcoming adversity with a calm and happy spirit.”
It was one of Sensei Takamatsu’s lessons about keeping spiritual peace and balance while not letting internal darkness consume one’s life. (Hope you don’t mind me doing themed quotes, I find traditional ninjas and samurai, especially their lessons and proverbs, fascinating😅).

The Samurai Code Pt 2
IDW Drift x Reader
• You’re real, warm against his servos as he makes his way through the halls toward the medbay. He’s also painfully aware of how badly you’re shaking, the way you’re curling into yourself. “Can you understand me?” He asks, parting his servos enough he can see your eyes almost squinted shut, face drawn like you’re in pain even though he’s sure he’s not holding you tightly. Feeling of one of your tiny hands grabbing onto his servo, clinging to him.
• That prickling, fiery feeling is a tide washing over you in waves, stealing your breath when it crashes over you and leaving you trembling in agony when it washes out. “Make it stop,” you manage, pressing your face against that giant hand as the sensation tears you apart again, shredding you into nothing but suffocating pain. “Please.”
• “You’ll be okay,” he promises, lying to you, because he has no idea what’s happening. Spark twisting at the agony in your words, there’s nothing he can do but run a servo against your spine in what he hopes is a comforting touch as he enters the medbay. Ratchet looks up from where he’s sterilizing tools when he enters. “I can’t fix this,” he whispers, holding out his caged hands, because he can feel the way your heart beat shifts into something frantic and wild with every time you clench into a tighter ball. Those little, pained noises you’re making going right through him.
• “Where’d that one come from?” Ratchet groans, reaching to accept your little form and he’s almost reluctant to give you up as crazy as it is, you’re just clinging to him like he’s the only thing keeping you together. Hovering as Ratchet lifts you from his hands and reaches for a scanner to pass over you as the shaking gets worse. Eyes opening and finding him, little hand trembling and reaching out for him.
• There’s two of them now. You’re dimly aware of the first one explaining how you’d just appeared, but everything is so fragmented, pain breaking you apart piece by piece. And then there’s panic choking you, until you’re reaching for the first one. The one with that soft, soothing voice and gentle hands. Wanting to ask him to not leave you here, please, don’t leave you alone, but unable to focus enough to say any of it. But then he’s reaching for you as the other one frowns, extending a huge servo to you and in your fear, you latch onto him, the only thing even slightly familiar amid the pain.
• You curl yourself around his servo, pressing your face against him. Needing him and he stills as the shaking eases and you slump into an exhausted sleep. “Best guess it has to do with however they got here,” Ratchet says as he studies his scanner. “Rodimus already alerted me that he found another one, so you’ll have to look after that one.”
• “You can fix this,” he says, spark twisting uneasily as he carefully accepts you back from Ratchet, aware of how fragile you feel in his servos. “Ratchet?” That look the medic levels at him is answer enough, but it’s not the one he wants as his attention dips to you.
