Hi! I’m the anon who sent in that ask about the whole make out thing. I do have another idea for it!

At the dimensional gate, Grovyle brings up the fact that he and Dusknoir are NOT exes, in which the hero says “Don’t lie! I saw it in a dimensional scream!” and now Grovyle is screaming eternally in existential dread and Dusknoir is even more mortified than before. Hero and partner FINALLY catch on and realize that this has to be a future thing, so now they’re just staring at both Grovyle and Dusknoir in a way that makes the two want to melt into the ground and disappear.

The worst part about it is that hero and partner never let it go. When Dusknoir confronts them at the hidden land, partner and hero are like “WOW, Dusknoir, you really are just trying to kill your future boyfriend, aren’t you?”, “I can’t believe my future brother-in-law is trying to kill us again”, “it’s a dimensional scream, Dusknoir, you can’t escape this — you’re going to end up kissing Grovyle whether you like it or not-” between the cackling of the Sableye, Dusknoir screams at the team to shut up while Grovyle is silently mortified.

And when they come back from the future, after the teary reunions are done, the next question from hero and partner, to Grovyle’s and Dusknoir’s upmost horror and anxiety, is: “So did you end up kissing when you were back in the future or-”

“NO! QUIET!”

“SHUT UP!”

"uh-oh, my future brother-in-law is trying to kill us again" is the best thing Hero could say, I love this.

Please i need Dusknoir to get bullied constantly about it. Dusknoir and Grovyle make a pact to never bring up the "save from a chunk of ice-shining spirit speech" incident, MUCH LESS THE "did my life shine" conversation, arounf hero and partner.

When they do start dating they can't tell hero because they will be INSUFFERABLE about it.

i play all these video games and have so little to say about them. it's kinda crazy because i have vocal opinions on every little thing, but i pour hundreads of hours into these things and i can't say anything more than it's fun or it's boring (which means i stopped playing a few hours in)

#even like disco Elysium which is such a deliberately political game #what do i have to say about it? it's great 👍made me cry? 👍#my reasoning is that if you spend more than 100+ hours doing something it becomes too personal to scrutinize #like now it's part of me or something which is of course the appeal and horror of video games (will take 100's of hours of your life)#other than some surface comments on the effectiveness of some characters i have nothing #more exciting than it's bad/boring it's good/fun #sometimes i even replay them #i really don't understand the gamer's temperament but i have it #like a curse

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

So I made a thing...

This is an "edit" for want of a better word of books that I feel are important to me. Some of them are things I read as a child that are no longer my favourites but they sparked a game or an idea that I really remember, some of them are books I've re read so many times, some of them are my favourites, many of them made me cry. Of course there are more books I could've considered but these ones felt right. This was actually so fun to do because I got to remember all of the stories I love and then take snazzy pictures in a pile of books.
