HOW HAS YOUR CHARACTER DEVELOPED FROM THEIR ORIGINAL CONCEPT ?

IF YOU HAVE A CANON CHARACTER, answer in the sense of what made you want to play them, how you have come to interpret them differently -

PART ONE. what thing(s) initially inspired your character ?  - GAWD, this goes all the way back to my middle school days....over a decade ago. So, I’ve ALWAYS had this love for the seven deadly sins and I had started writing a story that took place in a purgatory/limbo sort of place where fallen angels of the seven deadly sins guided a sinner of the same sin through important times in their lives. They had to figure out what their major crime(s) were before reaching the central gateway if they wished to repent and go to the equivalent of heaven. Anyway, Milo was the fallen angel of wrath and originally was an androgynous character.

PART TWO.  how has their personality developed from their first concept ? - MILO HAS CHANGED SO MUCH. When I first created her she was extremely malicious and constantly belittling anyone who tried to initiate a conversation with her. She preferred being on her own and wasn’t above killing one of her sinners if they so much as looked at her wrong or said something wrong. In a rework of her story, I pulled that wrath back where she was pretty reserved but would have extremely violent outbursts if her buttons were pushed. It wasn’t until I made her human that she started becoming more promiscuous and flirty and kind of remained this way for a long time. And it’s only been in the past few years that she became more outgoing, positive, and less likely to get pissed off at someone.

PART THREE.  how has their appearance developed from their first incarnation? -  Well, I mean. She was androgynous when I first made her. Course, at the time I didn’t know the word so I said just genderless. lmao. Though for a brief moment in her first creation she was a dude and then went andro, and now she’s a chick with a nice rack. Milo has always had red in her hair though, originally it was black with red. Her hairstyle has been all over the place before I finally just made it red as for her eyes they started off orange with slit pupils and slowly changed to blue and now blue with brown around the iris. She was a fallen angel and went human and has been all sorts of shit depending on the fandom I threw her in. Finally decided just to keep her human. 

I could go on and on about her much her appearance has changed because of how much it is but I don’t feel like writing a novel for any of these replies. lmao.

PART FOUR. what do you think most makes your character unique ? - I guess I mostly covered that in the first question. Josh is unique because he doesn’t follow the traditional western hero. He’s not even conventionally attractive, but I love that. He’s an average guy and he’s incredible. I think he’s also unique because he’s also a hero that isn’t treated like one? He gets treated horribly by people, but they doesn’t make him bitter and he always still tries to do the right thing. Like… how many heroes in media have you seen that is hated and mistrusted by practically everyone?
