Grew up in Northern California with Alex "Ajax" Johnson and Keegan Russ. After their enlisting, he lost track of them, and carried on his life with them in the back of his mind. However, when ODIN crashed and he was displaced, he wound up traveling with a group of U.S. Marines. A raid of their campsite ended in a prolonged stay for Jack with the Federation, in which he was subjected to many months of physical and mental torture, for lack of a better word. His inevitable rescue by Task Force: STALKER was welcomed with open arms, and while it took Keegan some time to adjust to having his "dead" friend back, he too saw this as a once in a lifetime miracle. The time lost amounted to twenty years, but who was counting anyways? With the right person, it's easy to pick back up.

Day of Defeat (by Valve)

Been playing the heck out of this old WW2 shooter from 2003 and enjoying it quite a lot. People are pretty active on comms. Adds just enough realism for my tastes. Only knock is that I got banned from a server for having "trans" in my name, so beware of some servers. I've enjoyed it more than the Source version because the vibes and aesthetic are just much more appealing to me. Day of Defeat Source just looks like a Garry's Mod gamemode.

I should also mention this is my first time playing Day of Defeat. Been going through a kick lately of older multiplayer FPSs. Tried out Team Fortress Classic as well, but that kinda sucked ass. Wolfenstein: ET is a pretty good time, but people move a little too fast in that one for me.
