Hello! Since the wiki admins have been too busy to get the wiki software updated, I was wondering if you guys needed any help with that? I moderate a fairly large Hetalia discord server and some folks have been wondering what happened to the wiki. If the software updates don't require any particular information (e.g. logins, passwords, credentials), I could do some outreach for volunteers to help with it. If possible, can you send me a message? Thanks and hope to speak to you soon!

Apologies for not having a better answer and being unresponsive all this time. Unfortunately the updates require specific passwords and root access that I can't give out.

The biggest barrier, which I failed to mention in my last response a year ago, is that at the time I did not have the proper hard drive space to do a proper backup before pushing through the software updates. I have acquired a new PC recently with the space necessary, so this hurdle is more doable now, but I don't currently have a solid timeline of when that all can happen.

Brian moves in the wrong way, gets shot in the wrong place, or any other number of things? Wait weeks for the metal of his mechanism to twist painfully back into place, or have someone open him up for a wildly invasive surgery to fix him, which he probably isn't always up for!

Hello!

We're noticing more people being interested in the Raggedy Ann fandom since the Amazing Digital Circus pilot released, so we thought we'd update our masterpost on where to find more Raggedy Ann media!

Books:

The first two and most well-known books are Raggedy Ann stories (1918) and Raggedy Andy stories (1920), which are in public domain and free to read online! Camel with the Wrinkled Knees (1924) (which the movie was loosely based on!) is on Internet Archive and available to read without an account. You can find many of the other books on there as well.

Cartoons:

The 1940's has Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy (1941), Suddenly It's Spring (1944), and The Enchanted Square (1947).

You've got the 1977 Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure of course.

The Chuck Jones holiday TV specials: Raggedy Ann and Andy in The Great Santa Claus Caper (1978) and Raggedy Ann and Andy in The Pumpkin Who Couldn't Smile (1979).

Most episodes of The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy (1988-1990) are in this playlist here, and you could probably find any missing ones on Dailymotion.

From the Target crossover we have the animated Snowden: Raggedy Ann & Andy's Adventure (1998) and the live-action ice-skating special The Snowden, Raggedy Ann and Andy Holiday Show (1998).

I've also got a playlist of all the albums I've found on YouTube or were uploaded by us, and there's many more of the older ones available on Archive. The old Will Wooden and Frank Luther ones are very charming.

You can watch recovered archival footage of the full first production of the Raggedy Ann musical (1984), listen to the demo album (~1985), or the Broadway bootleg (1986)!

Update!

I’m sure many of you are aware, however for those who aren’t, Shinigami Eyes is no longer a reliable indication of safety. Many people are being incorrectly flagged, at worse, and at best, attacked and abused; and quite frankly, it’s being used as a tool for harassment.

Going forward, Sylvan and I will no longer be using it to a great degree, if at all, and this may mean a delay in postings as we take extra time and precautions following links. 

A small blog that I started when I was 20 has grown and transformed, in no small part to Sylvan’s involvement. What was merely meant to act as a “mobile friendly” Shinigami Eyes has now become somewhat of a resource, and whilst this is amazing, I want people to remember that we are NOT an authority, we won’t be acting as one, and we shouldn’t be viewed as such either.

As we start to take things into our own hands, things may slip, and things may be misinterpreted or misconstrued, either by us, or anyone.

I’ve said this before, and I will say this again. Please make a point to highlight this! We want to learn, we want to change; have broader opinions. What may be true for one group of people, is not for another. We want to share those differences. Our ask box is always open, we just ask that you’re polite, and in kind, we will be the same.

HEY!! so i've been hearing about copious amounts of TCOAAL mod drama recently, so i figured i'd drop this question

what TCOAAL mod is your FAVORITE, if you have one?

mostly just TCOAAR tbh. it has a soft spot in my heart and i still look forward to chapter 2 even though i’ve fallen out of love with it, as long as it doesn’t shit the bed in chapter 2 it has the chance to keep being something special. i’m neutral on most mods, even the shittiest mods are stil labors of love, but that Coffin of Andrew and Julia mod makes me actually pissed off for so many fucking reasons i’ve gone into detail before. fuck that mod and fuck that author.

i have not actually played it but this is a mod that just mostly adds some extended flashbacks to the base game and while i haven't properly read it outside of fast forwarding to this point in flopamine's video i really fuck with it just because it lets ashley wears a nice dress at a prom in a flashback. i love that hair too.

Hi, I tried to get into the Hetalia Kitawiki today but I saw that something seemed to be wrong with the website's formatting. I also couldn't log in, every time I tried I always got an HTTP Error 500 message even when reloading the page. This goes for both mobile browsers and computers. Is there something wrong with the site or it's down?

Apologies. It's likely this is happening because the MediaWiki software it runs on needs to be updated to a newer version. It can be upgraded, but may take a bit as it needs to be done manually (and carefully to prevent data loss).

also, one time it accidentally pretended to be a tree in the middle of a field for well over a century, and became this like famous tree that no scientist could figure out the origin of, and then one day it just said “oh, right! i’m supposed to be a person!” and walked away.

I keep an eye on extremist spaces and I realized something: I don't think antis realize that they sound almost identical to kiwifarms. I was reading a thread about a streamer who played (and liked! oh no!) The Coffin of Andy and Leyley (the game with that 1 second long incest scene that's supposed to illustrate to the audience the horror of their codependency/enmeshment) and it went something like "she'll face the wall with the rest of the fags for normalizing and exposing this degeneracy to her audience."

Legit that's just an anti post with less fog covering up the puritanical sentiment lol. The only difference is that a kiwifarmer won't cowtip, but an anti will try to find their workplace to file a complaint after telling each of this chick's family members that she's an incest fetishist.

Their callout posts are genuinely just smaller, badly organized kiwifarms threads with less slurs.
