A hilarious comedy thriller drama that unfortunately gets bogged down with unnecessary romance and bad editing. It definitely could have been a 10 episode series and it would’ve been a knock out series. Seo in Guk is phenomenal in this. He had just the right over the top humor and darkness to his character, while I absolutely love Oh Yeon Seo, the writing for her character was awful and didn’t fit right. For the romance I more so rooted for the secondary couple more. I guess I was hoping for more of a best buddy relationship for the main couple. Overall still would recommend to watch once if you love mystery comedies.

My Thoughts: 4/5-- I thought this webtoon was very interesting, definitely different from other webtoons of this type. While I enjoyed this webtoon, personally there was something missing. I don’t really wanna spoiler much, but while I enjoyed the slowburn, I think that the part when she told him the truth was really rushed and this left a bitter feeling behind. Same thing with the secondary couple, I enjoyed their relationship but I think that because throughout the story there was a reallyy slow slowburn, the part where they told each other their feelings was really rushed.But this is something subjective, some may enjoy it, some may not. So don’t let this keep you from reading this webtoon, because it's a very very good one.

Blackout and Whiteout - two books that have short stories on multiple couples that link up, these are great romance books, I particularly enjoyed Blackout and I highly recommend it. Blackout is about multiple YA relationships when New York's power goes out one night.

Starter For Ten by David Nicholls - The story of Brian who wants to join the university's university challenge team and ends up torn between two women, Starter For Ten is certainly about relationships, among the team and with our protagonist.

It All Comes Back to You by Farah Naz Rishi - This book is a romance about a couple who broke up and have to deal with their feelings when their siblings end up getting engaged to each other. I have yet to hear anything bad about it, and it's on my TBR so if you can get your hands on it, let me know if you like it!

Okay, this is truly an epic fantasy, with varying POV’s, centuries long rivalries, and imminent world destruction on the horizon! I will admit, I was a little hesitant at the start, there were so many characters to get to know, but I quickly had them sorted out, and they quickly had my heart. Layer upon layer of stories, deep intrigue and deception, and royal families that are strong and fraying, all focused on the magic that must be done. Our couples were chosen by the fates, not each other, and they think their task to be simple, but *squeal* Frey and the elves know better (we get them in one scene, and that solidified I needed to settle in for the story!). I was completely drawn in by each couple, their stories, and all the danger surrounding them, and without taking a breath, dove instantly into the next part of the story!

For me this drama is highly underrated. Yes I like the cheesy ridiculous fantasy dramas that are unrealistically predictable and this one is right up my alley. Both main leads are fantastic together (as we already know from Bossam Steal of Fate) they’re just as smexy and fun in this too. The storyline is more of a comedy mystery trio (Eum Moon Su, which has his own sub romance as well). Main leads have a late LATE romance but is well worth it, chemistry oozes throughout anyway.

shen qingqiu constantly compares luo binghe to a maiden. he's canonically turned on by luo binghe crying. luo binghe is called a masochist MULTIPLE times and likes when shen qingqiu both hits him and praises him. they switched from a student/teacher thing to straight up pseudo incest like halfway through the third book. shen qingqiu is internally homophobic and sees bottoming as demeaning.

you'd think shen qingqiu would be the obvious dom/top with all that in mind... except he's such a weirdo he treats bottoming like a sacrificial act! and he takes the bullet so his husband doesn't have to instead!! even though luo binghe would eat that shit up!!! and also his dick is so huge it literally killed shen qingqiu once!!!! what's wrong with them!!!!!
