okay okay so to start, the world ended millions upon millions of years ago. Four world leaders nuked the everloving fuck out of the earth. Time (as a deity) decided to make the three world leaders gods because they #deserveit. They become three suns. War, Wisdom, and Womb. The fourth replaced the moon, calling herself Citadel.

they weave themselves into this religion, calling themselves gods and personifications of their concepts. At birth, a child is assigned a sun to worship. At death, it is custom for a body to be completely destroyed, usually by burning. This sets the soul free to travel up to Citadel and become an angel.

anyways, somehow life finds a way. Wolves grow and evolve and become apex predators, hunting everything else to near extinction. In their slaughter that lasted millions of years, wolves started to evolve. The First to have Hands is the first true distinction from Lycan and wolf. lycans are a more intelligent subspecies of wolf. After thousands of years of evolving, they gained the ability to shift between a vaguely wolfish and human form. They can also mimic sounds.

Lavish is a Lycan. He was born in a desert and has an abusive mom and two little twin sisters. His father left him at a young age, so lavish (and his best friend/adoptive sister, Cherié) use magic to portal to a present-day version of earth. When Liv is around 15, he receives a vision from War (his patron Sun) saying that Citadell is full. She cannot handle any new angels. And they can’t be sent down unto the earth, for without holy flame, angels become feral, starving beasts, forever reliving their final moments of pain. Or peace. So, as one of War’s most devout and capable followers (as well as being related to the God Killer, whom I can talk abt), he is meant to balance his life with his friends vs. fighting off angels and trying to find a good replacement for Citadel.

when he’s 16, War has the bright idea to kill Time and use its corpse as a second home for the angels because it’s War. Not Wisdom. So, he sends Lavish out to go kill time. But a portal opens up and Liv comes face-to-face with the adult version of himself. Adult Lavish was sent to stop and or kill teen lavish to stop the spread of angels. It is impossible to kill Time, but it is possible to kill War. Lavish has a very important decision to make here. he can either go off and slaughter war, or he can stay true to his loyalties and fight til his death. Both versions are cannon bc we’re working w/ a multiverse here.

in option 1, Liv backs off. He goes back to the desert and climbs the highest dune, just as his ancestor did. Lavish kills War, hurling its corpse into the sky for the angels. Life goes on.

In option 2, Lavish is killed by the adult version of himself. His eyes and uterus are ripped out before his is burned alive. He is the straw that breaks the camel’s back, because the apocalypse comes not long after. Liv becomes a mindless angel, following Cherié around like a dog while she tries to survive

Just two Stars from different cadres hanging out in the roof gardens of their facility, having a smoke, talking about recent events. Something so commonplace, but a rare occurrence for both of them, for different reasons. Foxtrot hasn't spoken much about her feelings after the tragic events of her recent retrieval mission, and Kratzer... well, she's not used to an Officer Star being so casual with her, let alone sharing any woes with her of all people.

Yay, more Signalis OCs! This is a little introduction of Foxtrot (left) belonging to @titan-wolfdog, and Kratzer (right) belonging to me. Two very different Stars, practically narrative foils to each other, but there's a bit of a connection between them...

Hi, Howdy! Hey! I really love your novel!! I got a little confused by the 4 day, may maybe you help me please? who is it? why we got the bad end staying the night in Ren’s apartment and he disappear of the home screen? I can’t understand “unset memory” game, sorry if I wrote smth wrong or smth sounds rude, I swear that I didn’t mean it if happened, I’m really a fan of the novel, I’ve been playing the game since day 1 or 2 I guess, probably day 1, english isn’t my first language, but I tried lol

You can only get the Dead End in Day 4 by staying at Ren's apartment — the rest of your choices before that don't matter. I'd also pay closer attention to the black smoke and Ren's reaction towards it!

Ren disappears from the home screen because he promised to help the player out (and stop them from getting the Dead End again). Try replaying the game again from the beginning for a surprise!

"Unsent Memories" was another visual novel (initially being written by @10chimes / @unsentmemory, though the project has since been dropped and handed back to me /pos) and is set in the same universe as 14 Days With You. Its storyline and characters are completely separate from 14DWY, so you don't have to worry about them while playing 14DWY.

Guess who finally has a new ref~

Not much has changed from her original iteration, aside from a few aesthetic differences related to how I draw replikas now, and the little bit of lore that her name given by the eules was Frühling, but the nickname Winzig stuck more because "hehe tiny".

Aside from that, she shares the theme with the other "defected" OCs that fun community in this hidden shelter. There she does cleaning, while using any opportunity to figure what's going on with other's lives, and share the info with The Girls, ofc~ ✨💖

More random bits of info:

She and The Girls are very loyal to each other. Mess with one, mess with them all. As a group they have the gossipy girly girls dynamic going on.

Everyone calls her Winzig, except for The Girls (they're very proud of their matching names) and Westen.

Winzig has asked to join Alan and Westen's hivemind. Their answer was NO, but she's pretty chill about it.

She doesn't act like it, but actually she's the oldest of her sisters.

Least threatening interaction between Bob and Ayden 😋😋😋

Okay now lore time 😝😝(holy yap 🙄🙄)

Ayden Myers had been working at Candy Club alongside Kevin for just over a year now.

He wasn’t really known since he worked in the back of the shop for the most part, but is absolutely excellent with kids! Parents usually find him obnoxious with how “childish” he acts in front of the children.

He works typically the late shifts and covers for Kevin happily, so they both have a pretty good relationship despite Ayden’s unprompted ramblings and facts about candy.

Ayden is introduced to Bob on a day shift to cover for Kevin. Upon entree, Ayden somewhat knows who Bob is due to the regular’s list Kevin kept on the other side of the counter. They’ve tend to bounce energy off of each other with their vast knowledge of sweets and cannibalism!

On the night before Halloween, Skid and Pump rushed in to pull Ayden out of the store just as his shift was ending to show him something “amazing”. He quickly closes the store and follows them with curiosity and walk until they reach a small hill with a nice view of the town. Both boys point to the sky as Ayden looks up. He sees the stars for what they truly are as he gets momentarily possessed.

The cult quickly catches wind of this and send Bob to dispose of Ayden for he would be too much of a liability if he were to try and uncover what he had witnessed.

And on Halloween night, Ayden is working the night shift as usual in his Halloween outfit (a giant candy piece, no joke..) albeit a bit shaky from what he experienced with the kids the night before. Bob makes sure he’ll get his own little Halloween treat as he slowly hunts down Ayden.

When Ayden is closing up shop, he goes outside the back to get rid of the store’s trash with Bob blocking to exit of the alleyway, knife in hand and taking his time to scare Ayden like he usually does with his victims. By pure luck, Ayden manages to slip away from their encounter unscathed but shaken.

Bob persists after this, but Ayden’s clumsiness saves him each time by pure accident and only frustrates but further as he keeps failing somehow! (Like Ayden trying to land a defensive punch to Bob’s face only to trip and punch him hard in the crotch. Ayden would apologize profusely while running away while Bob just sits there for a moment wincing LMAO)

Ayden’s escapes are goofy asf like he def should have died LONGGG time ago. What’s worse is that Ayden is so oblivious that he doesn’t fully connect the fact that Bob is the Red Devil and still treats him like a normal customer when Bob walks into the shop 😭😭 He’s a bit naive so he kinda lands himself in trouble without even knowing it (and mistakes Bob’s threats as weird flirting because he’s a lonely middle aged man okay 🥲🥲).

So yeah, that’s Ayden’s main story for now! (I don’t mind it if you didn’t read allat lmfao)

Royal Rageous

Some posts were taken down, so I’m gonna try and repost them again. Here we go!

These are just my character outlines! An alternative approach to my Under Rageous AU: Royal Rageous.

Rageous is divided into three kingdoms: the Summit, the Mount, and Under kingdoms. The Under Kingdom is seen as inferior by the upper kingdom, treating them like peasants for so long, working them hard with no benefits. Until someone stepped up and decided to establish a monarch in the lawless Under Kingdom: enter the generations of Montegue rule. The Under Kingdom now thrives and holds all the resources at the palm of its hands, forcing the upper kingdom and Bergen Kingdom to trade goods for the benefit of its people now. Of course, with Vaughn, the Under Kingdom holds a new valuable resource everyone wants to get their hands on: Trolls.

It has a steampunk vibe to it. The characters will play the same role as they do in my Under Rageous AU. Especially in relation tone another. Two newer introductions are Neena and Darian (who was an OC developed by me and my dear friend @djpixelskitten for a story we once did). I’m still working out stuff, so stay tuned. I’m hope to do character sheets in which it continues to go into more detail of each character :3

Ember "Rook" Mercar

Firefighter

Adrenaline! Running toward danger! Saving lives! Ember goes where the action is, and she does whatever she can to help people.

I thought about having her be an EMT or ER doctor, but I like the variety firefighting gives her (and tbh she would not survive medical school). Plus, basing this entirely off of what I've seen in TV shows, I think Ember would enjoy the camaraderie of a station house - she does her best with a team.

And yes, there was a firefighter calendar for charity. And she did feature in it 😂

Youth soccer coach

Modern AU or not, Ember is a still a diehard street ball fan. So, she volunteers as a soccer coach at the local rec center in Dock Town. It's also her way of making sure these kids don't fall down the same path she did as a teen. Stay in school, don't do drugs, have a few trustworthy adults you can go if you need help - that sort of thing.

Vigilante

The Shadow Dragons are still in Modern Minrathous. It's the same rag tag mix, same big queer activist space. Just with a few modern twists. I know in my heart Tarquin would make an excellent grumpy hacker. Maevaris is running for mayor. Dorian is a wealthy and powerful socialite. Etc.

And as always in Minrathous, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. So, Ember may keep a mask handy for when she needs to take care of business that the cops won’t deal with. And she may or may not go by the alias "Rook". What's it to ya?

Investigating crimes with Detective Neve Gallus

Ember meets Detective Neve Gallus at a crime scene. There was obvious foul play, and some cult markings pointing to the work of a supremacist group with powerful ties among the Minrathous elite. They were all told to shut the case down. Of course, Neve didn’t. Ember respected that. She offered to help. So now they’re chasing a series of seemingly unrelated murders and arsons that someone in the city is trying to cover up. They would definitely be fired if their chiefs found out. And killed if the cult found them snooping around. But that’s part of what makes it fun.

The rest of the Veilguard crew

Neve is a homicide detective (or ex-police detective and now private investigator) known for backing lost causes. She is constantly butting heads with the brass and usually works her cases alone.

Bellara is an engineer (mechanical, electrical, software - whatever she can get her hands on) visiting Minrathous for a research project. Shes a true crime girlie and a big fan of Neve's. She helped Ember fix up her motorcycle.

Davrin and Taash are also firefighters. Assan is the team pet/station mascot.

No one knows what Harding does for her day job, but she knows everyone. She's a big hiker and rock climber, loves the farmer's market, and helps run the community garden.

Lucanis owns a cafe that everyone is pretty sure is a front for the mob.

Emmrich is a visiting medical professor who conveniently has experience as a forensic pathologist. His research assistant is Manfred.

Other Modern AU!Ember trivia

Rough and tumble past. Ember fell in with a not-so-great crowd as a teenager. She spent some time in juvie, but the records are sealed. She's still in contact with some of her old crew.

She boxes for fun and can hold her own in a fight.

She listens to rock/metal/punk music.

Ember would 100% have a shitty burner phone OR a phone with a screen so cracked it's a safety hazard.

She gets all her memes, slang, and pop culture updates from the kids she coaches. She is surprisingly well-versed in TikTok trends.

She's a burger and fries gal.

Whenever someone asks how she got the scar across her eye, she gives a different (and often ridiculous) answer.

She drinks terrible black coffee. And she always buys one for Neve, too, when they're meeting up to work their case (yes, I'm stealing this move from Castle)

Kwaziis parents (in my au, Misty Memories), Anira and Kenneth. They're in their party clothes lol Yes they have full character arcs and lore and no im not going to share their whole lives right now.

HOWEVER,I shall BRIEFLY describe them and how they met under the tag!!! <3 u don't have to read but yeh :> 😊

Their story takes place from late 80s to early 90s btw,

Kenneth is clearly the second son of the Calicoed Jack and younger brother of Kingsley by about 2 or 3 years. Kenneth (also nicknamed "Kenny boy"or "Kenny kit" as a child) is... Well to be honest hes not very good at being a pirate, especially not like his parents. An anxious and overly cautious one.

He couldn't properly swing a sword without closing his eyes for fear of injuring himself, he was clumsy (even by non feline standards-), and was afraid of spiders. (And heights... and loud noises... and that one Pelican that tried to eat him when he was a kitten- and also-)

However, he was still raised a pirate and had the soul of one, shanty songs and tales spread through the ocean about its depths and tragic battles- He was also very good at cooking-

As a result of his mothers... tragically lost battle with illness, (and witness of his fathers struggles with infection after losing his eye and leg)hes also extremely paranoid about disease and injury...

(his father loved him dearly but hadn't realized that kenneth had low self esteem for... not living up to him, his mother, and his brother... CJ was a young and inexperienced father and also tried his best to teach kenneth- you know like fun survival challenges between him and his brother and how to fight- he uh.. he was good at surviving on an island at least? It was very safe of course, they weren't actually stranded, but it was "just in case" and also "the pirate way" and whatnot.

CJ (calico jack) did tease him a bit about "still feeling like a wee kit" in regards to his pirate failures, it wasn't ever in mean spirit, more fondness over his sons excitement in sharing the shanties he wrote himself! (Shanties cj would later use to stay sane in the amazon...) but kenneth still felt hurt by those comments though he never showed it... laughing along🥺 <:< )

anyways since kenneth didn't want to be a self proclaimed dead weight and was so concerned about injury and disease (bot as easy to get hospital treatment as a pirate yk?) Kingsley advised him to get real schooling- schooling that would give him credibility for a fake identity so he could become their crews official medic someday. Something incredibly valueable and needed.

Thats how he ended up spending half the year at a "flexibility school" in Japan meant to accommodate children who couldn't stay at school for the full year. Whether it was due to international travel, long term illness, apprenticeships (the salty spirit was usually undercover as a "transportation vessel" for the "Sarah Sails" company which was just a fake company made by their clan the Split Tail), and ofc children hopping between foster families- because of the flexible needs yk?

Like Anira.

Anira Kucing (name inspired by the kucing Malaysia cat breed) is, who would've guessed it, originally from Malaysia. Anira doesn't know this but her mother had fled from her home country due to the unfortunate circumstance of being a prime suspect for the death of her sister. Unfortunately, while her mother did manage to take a new identity in a new country, she became very ill from cancer when anira was very young and died <:( thus she was legally an orphan, and ended up attending the same school

Anira is ah, ahem, a... unique individual- grew up assuming her father had abandoned her and her mother- only to lose her mom while young and still be seen as a foreign stranger of Japan despite being raised there her whole life. She also had an interesting tendency to pickpocket everyone in sight :) because if she didn't have anyone to dote on her she might as well dote on herself! Yk with like.. stolen cash that the rude rich kids that whispered about her didn't even need anyways >:)

Anira thus became Very Talented at getting people to talk about themselves, and while that was a great way to distract people from their wallets,it was also a GREAT WAY to get fresh juicy gossip ✨ then she hears about this FOREIGN ENGLISH SPEAKING CAT GUY???

Needless to say lil wee kenneth was uh.. a very new lil guy and ofc she just hadddd to help him cuz she's so kind and great! Esp since he looked so lost and like a total dumdum. well what happened was she ran up to him after school, dragged him away to a random street as she rambled in broken English, and then said "watch this!!"

And proceeded to pickpocket three very mean looking older teens. Kenneth, who, understandably, was very freaked out by this tried to drag HER away from them- and then well... hes got broken japanese and well things escalated 😔

He got into a fight with the three older teens, or rather a "run way swat at with claws and TRY TO RUN AWAY SOME MORE because oh great im corned in an alley :) , he also tried to find anira so they could both run away but uh... she was gone...

He tried to escape by scrambling over the wall of the alley only when a small paw reached out to help- and thus they escaped together-

Later on when they caught their breaths on a rooftop, he tried his best to ask her *HEY WHAT THE HELL* as politely as he could. This tiny little menace grinned as wide as possible and showed him FIVE WHOLE WALLETS full of coins she stole! She thanked him and told him SHE was going to treat HIM to some icecream 🥰🥰🥰 and anyways kenneth immediatly fell in love. And you just know she ate up his cringey (cute) middleschool love poems too

Of course when he went to "do his sailing apprenticeship" well- of course our girlie mightve sorta followed him and stowed away and well mightve forcefully wormed her way into his entire family 🥰🥰🥰 honestly tho she had like two crack headcanons that kenneth was actually an alien spy since he was so bad at being a cat or a secret pirate because he just agreed with crime very casually and didn't realize how strict laws actually were. She DIDNT THINM HE WAS ACTUALLY PART OF A PIRATE CREW THOUGH-

Anira very much fell in love with the freedom of being a pirate, the culture and the family, and also the beliefs of the polynesian cultures they visited and adopted many of the beliefs as an honorary sister of sorts ig? Yeh :>

If you're wondering yes she did join their crew and became a navigator of the salty spirit! Very good at it too lol, and CJ loved her and doted on her like his own daughter,often sneaking her candies- Kingsley and she became ah, how shall we say- the siblings who have heinous prank wars either with eachother or on literally everyone else and can't be left alone together under any circumstances.

anira always loved kenneth for who he was entirely and kenneths entire bloodline is just a wee man who falls for a woman who commits crimes and he's no different. I'll have to post about calico jackand his wife maddie sometime

loveee when fantasy uses magic as a metaphor for some kind of modern military weapon. tell me more about how the foot soldiers are nothing once dragons come into play, once the elements do, once pure unfiltered harm made by one persons hands does. youre too small for this. seasoned soldiers but you dont know what youre doing. you were raised on swords on axes on cold hard steel. this has none of that predictability. it doesnt matter what side youre on, the damage will be too wide, too unspecified, and the people using it dont give a fuck about you. they only care about winning. theyll send you to fight for them and wipe out half of your force in their efforts to decimate your enemies. and amongst all this damage, all this ruin, brought on you by the people who decided to go to war in the first place, you begin to wonder for the first time in your military career, why.
