What Does a Bribe Look Like
Once, two men were to appear before an older judge over a matter concerning a lot of money. One of the men came the day before he was to appear in court and asked the judge to help him. As he spoke, he laid five hundred silver coins on the table. The old judge took the money and told the man to come back the next day. That evening the old judge asked that a big dinner be served. He called…

All things are full of toil; none can express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
Ecclesiastes 1:8
Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
Proverbs 27:20
For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
1 John 2:16
Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself, for emptiness will be his payment. It will be paid in full before his time, and his branch will not be green.
Job 15:31-32
Therefore, Ezra, empty things are for the empty and full things for the full.
2 Ezdras 7:25
Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
1 Timothy 6:18-19
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Notes
Worldly things will only give temporary satisfaction, then boredom and unfulfilment inevitably creeps in, so one has to search for new exciting things and novelties. It is an endless cycle. The pursuit of personal pleasure/money/status, which is what the Bible refers to as 'selfish ambition', can only provide temporary excitement that will fade. Lasting meaning, therefore, can only be found in good deeds, selfless love, and humility before God.

An Old Picture, the Same Passion
The picture on the right is 8 years old. The passion written on the wall off my left shoulder is still the passion of my heart. If your heart belongs to Christ, I hope your passion for His word continues to grow. Bible scoffers are all around us. But those who love Jesus, know the wonder of His word. They know that there are no end to its depths. They know that lives built on the words of God…

A Fools Thinks He is Wise; A Wise Man Knows Himself to Be a sFool
Technology has brought us an amazing amount of information. A legitimate question is, how much WISDOM have we gained as a result? AI might give you data, but does it give you perspective? It is pretty clear that America has abandoned universal truths in favor of “my truth”. The problem is, “my truth” is often just not very wise. John Stuart Mill said, “It is better to be a human being,…

Abortion is Murder & Unbiblical
The Bible does not use the word abortion. How could it? The term itself as a procedure wasn't invented yet! However, the Bible does cover:
Humanity's inherent value and rights as (uniquely among creation) made in the image of God
Murder
Child/infant murder as something abhorrent to God
Life's beginnings, indirectly (although that also has biological support)
Legal ramifications of killing a child in the womb
How God sees and interacts with children in the womb
How we as His followers are meant to treat children
What He expects us to do for the defenseless and vulnerable (i.e., the most defenseless and vulnerable human imaginable is the one in the womb)
And how the question of following Him and His Word is what makes or breaks the difference between a Christian and someone who claims the name but is tragically unsaved Below are some verses and some additional explication (partial credit: @glowsticks-and-jesus)
Proverbs 31:8
Luke 1:44
2nd Kings 17:17
Jeremiah 19:5
Genesis 9:6
Exodus 21:22-25
Matthew 7:20 - 23
John 15:14
1st John 1:5-10, 2:3-6
Exodus 20:13
Mark 10:13-15 Leviticus 20:3-5 (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/mizzaro_2233.htm)
Matthew 18:10, 14
Psalm 22:10
Jacob & Esau, John the Baptist, Samson, etc.
Judges 16:17 Glowsticks-and-Jesus Collection:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.'"Jeremiah 1:4-5
"The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name."Isaiah 49:1
John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary greeted her cousin (Luke 1:39-45), an example that babies in utero are responsive human beings already aware of the outside world.
The righteous Hebrew midwives at the time of Moses pleased God by saving babies deemed unworthy of life by the authorities of their day (Ex. 1:15-21).
As an additional note -- these references are included above, but worth a second mention -- it's plain that child sacrifice - child murder - is something that God abhors and explicitly does not command. I'd look here (https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/19-5.htm) and here (https://biblehub.com/2_kings/17-17.htm) and check out the cross-references as well. Likewise, there is direct support for laws against murder and the protection of the unborn (up to capital punishment) in the Bible (Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:22-25 -- an additional reference here included about the common misunderstanding of the latter verses: https://www.str.org/w/what-exodus-21-22-says-about-abortion).
In summary -- it's possible (although, I believe, it does deprive its proponents of a foundational basis for the value of life) to be both secular and anti-abortion. But it is not possible for a Christian who truly understands their faith, their God, and His Word to be pro-abortion.

2) Knowledge is like a garden: If it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested.

Sorry for asking this, I'm just really confused and exhausted lately, i don't know what to do. How to "let go" of shifting? Because many people just write "relax, let go, let it happen". I don't understand.
I deal with this myself. So I don’t know if my answer will be good but—What they mean is to stop worrying about it. Take a break. That’s what they mean by letting go.
In shifting, while it’s really hard—You need to know when to take breaks. You need to know when it’s time to let yourself relax. Because once you finally stop stressing over shifting and treat it like a normal thing, not something that’s out of your reach—You shift.
Is that easy to do? No. But, that’s what a “shifting journey” is. When you feel yourself getting exhausted and confused over shifting, it’s time for a break. It’s time to focus on yourself. And, at least for me..When I start to do that, things start to make more sense. (Shifting wise.)
The whole “letting go” part shifters talk about is the stress, the anxiety. You need to let go of that. You can shift at any time and in any mindset, yes..But, it helps to be in a good mental state when shifting. A lot. Rushing through things and stressing out about things won’t help at all. It’ll make it worse. So, try to take the time to relax, meditate, pray. Whatever is your cup of tea.
Take care of yourself, stop putting shifting on a pedestal. We shift all the time. Every decision we make, we’re shifting. I hope I helped in some way, if I didn’t please request again and maybe I can word things better or something.
—
Here’s bible verses that I think might help. (Even if you’re not religious, I think it kind of helps you think of things differently if that makes sense. In no way am I trying to force religion—These verses have just helped me in my journey and maybe they can help you too.)
1. Proverbs 20:30 : Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways. I think this relates to what I was just saying in a way.
2. Peter 5:10 : Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever. I saw this verse while really struggling in my shifting journey and it helped me a bit. I was actually going through the same thing as you.
3. Mark 8:36 : For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? I saw this verse as well when I was going through a similar thing as you. It really spoke to me and helped me realize that I just need to let things flow, and stop stressing myself out. The more I relax, the closer I am to God and shifting.

Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. -Proverbs 27:20
All things are full of weariness; a man cannot utter it; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. -Ecclesiastes 1:8
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. - 1 Timothy 6:6-11

Nine Biblical Reasons Why President Biden is a Poor Candidate for President
I don’t want to write this post. Just like I didn’t want to write last Friday’s post on why President Trump is a Poor Candidate for President. (By the way, that post drew considerable pushback from a few of my brothers and sisters in Christ. One thought I was unfair to Trump and viewed him as a kind of political savior of the country for this moment in time. Two were more measured saying neither…

Cleansing the Temple is One Thing; How About Cleansing Our Hearts?
Day Four of the Ten Days that Changed the World: Monday of Passion Week was a day of travel and cleansing, Mark 11:12-18. Jesus and the disciples walked from Bethany to Jerusalem and back. Remember, that’s about an hour’s walk each way, so these guys were in shape! We don’t live in an age of walking, but it gave life a different pace, and certainly provided time to talk, discuss and teach as…

Charles Brook: 10.10.1970 Hi! Just got hired officially as the computer supervisor for "Unnamed Bunny Smiles Restaurant" (though I've been coming up with a few names myself) I've known these guys for a while, they're family! I've done some work for them along with Susan for years now, even before CyberFun Tech! Getting to meet the Waltens and the Krankens has been super fun! So excited to get to work! The future is bright. C. B. P. 27:12
Worth noting, P. 27:12 is a proverb from the bible, "The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty."

Mr. Kranken This is Norman. I’m sending you this letter on behalf of our deal between Bunny Smiles and CyberFun Tech and most importantly, the well-being of our Cyberfun staff. We’ve been getting a lot of complaints about a member of our staff going missing who was highly associated with you and your team. Susan Woodings has been missing for a week now and here in CyberFun Tech we are working as hard as we can to try and manage to get in contact with her. Is there perhaps any detail you could hand us to help locate our missing employee? I’m going to be entirely honest with you, Mr. Kranken, and tell you I have a ton of questions and suspicions about whatever is going on with your company. Whatever it is, it’s making both your company and mine look bad to public light so, again, if there’s anything that could help us find Susan, write us back immediately. Thank you. I’ll see you Monday.
