I was really thinking about if I would ever be comfortable merging my art accounts and I don't think I will. At least not unless I did a full rebrand which I'd really rather not since I'm very happy with how things are situated now.

But I think it boils down to acceptance seeking. I've been socially isolated for a very long time and it's difficult. Even back when I first started drawing au stuff years ago, I contemplated making a separate blog for it because I knew how many ut fans didn't really like the aus. I didn't want to alienate any of the "audience" I'd already built but I also knew there would be a turning point I would just wind up barely posting on one account or the other and it would feel like trying to limp half the time on one leg and then limp the rest on the other, which would be pointless.

But with mirrorshipping (selfcest) being a much more universally contentious topic, I got worried it would only deter people even more. I certainly didn't want to lie about it, especially bc I don't associate it with prshipping the way some others do, so it's not really that im "ashamed" of it, or want to hide it, just that I know it's the kind of thing that's very likely to make some who just walked in turn right back around.

To some degree, as someone who hopes to one day make a career out of being an independent artist, it makes sense to prioritize "growth" over personal satisfaction, but on the other, I've always struggled to care about that sort of thing. Any time I've cared about "alienating" a potential "audience", it's always been more about personal acceptance. I don't want people to see one little aspect of myself or interests and judge me entirely based off of that, even though that's all anyone really can do on the internet. I don't take blocking personally, despite how the prior sentiment seems to contradict that, I get it, I block all the time too, for a variety of reasons. But if there's a chance there're others who don't really mind that I mirrorship, they just don't want to see it or have to block the tag, I don't want them to feel turned away or annoyed, and so I kept it all to a separate account.

There are a few other reasons I won't really get into, too, like how people often do associate it with prship, and how I don't really want to draw that type of a crowd to my main blog, either, but I know in my heart it's the acceptance/approval seeking that was the biggest motivator.

I really honestly wish I knew how to connect with others beyond just trying to "do things right" and hoping that earns me positive attention. I really wish I didn't always feel like my only chance at affection is to improve what I can offer in return.

I know he already gets a lot of love within the fandom but I will forever STAND on the opinion that ii is underrated. Not just in the band or in drumming. He is truly the backbone of SOCIETY. There is just something so powerful about that man’s presence. He is so fierce guys I actually struggle to comprehend it. Can we get a round of applause for ii everybody 👏

I've seen BARELY ANY cis man talk about mens mental health awareness, men's suicide rates, male victims of sexual assault or rape, or male DV victims since pride month ended.

Hmmmm it's almost as if 90% of them are only weaponizing the horrors other men have been through to push anti-lgbt rhetoric which is why they're so god damn quiet now that pride month is over.

It's not even the fact that mens mental health month (also june) is over. If they genuinely gave a shit about these issues, they wouldn't stop talking about it and wouldn't only limit discussions about it to one month out of the entire god damn year.

However, trans men, transmascs, and enbys have been much more proactive in bringing awareness to transandrophobia, misandry, and the struggles of men in general. Can we get a round of applause for the real MVP's who actually give a shit enough to not limit these important discussions to one month out of the year and don't use it as something to weaponize to take down another group of individuals? 👏

I’m not asking I’m telling you to hold his hand or else this man will become the saddest puddle you’ve ever seen

And all of this is just your average day being friends with Polnareff

Once you two become an item he becomes like a baby koala he’s so clingy

He always needs a hand on you

Some sort of skin-on-skin 

He still doesn’t fully believe you want to be his partner let alone let him touch you

So whether it be his hand holding your own or his thigh pressed against yours as you two eat he needs to touch you

Would 100% be the type of partner to hug you from behind while waiting in any sort of line 

Would 100% want to follow you into the bathroom just so that he could keep holding your hand (and has definitely done so in the past)

Is honestly so terrified when you two have to go your separate ways for such things as going to the bathroom

Not only because he’s had less than pleasant experiences with those spaces thanks to enemy Stand Users

But because he is so utterly terrified that if he lets you go, you’ll disappear 

He’s dealt with enough heartbreak to last him two lifetimes so the thought of losing you is utter hell

He just needs to feel you to reassure himself you are still with him

Still with him and still breathing

Will press his ear over your heart sometimes to listen to your heartbeat

You struggled to unlock the hotel room door thanks to the multitude of food bags cradled in your arms. Somehow you had managed to pull the room key from your back pocket but now your grapple with unlocking the door and turning the handle without dropping the food was threatening your will.  The key slid into the lock,  pulling a bright laughing cheer from your lips at finally starting to win the battle set before. You grabbed for the handle of the door just as it turned, the door yanking open in a rush of air.  “Oh--” You said, taking a small step as you took back at the tall body that now stood in the entrance. Polnareff’s familiar face had your body easing and smile tugging bright once more at your lips. “Good morn--” You never got to finish your sentences before Polnareff’s strong arms were wrapping around your body, crushing you and the food against his chest.  “I woke up and you weren’t there and the others were gone as well and--and I--” Polnareff panicked into your neck, nuzzling his face against your skin as a shuddering breath shook his body. His hold tightened further as if to keep you glued to him. The sound of a plastic container crunching filled your ears, letting you know the food you had fought to keep from falling was getting crushed within his embrace.  You’re heart twisted in your chest at his utterly panicked state, the food’s destruction far from your mind as you all but dropped the bags. Your hands and arms were instantly wrapped around his neck, fingers brushing soothing circles into his skin.   “Mon amour, I-I didn’t know where you were.” He said in a voice smaller than that of a whisper.  “I thought I would be back before you woke up. I told the others to be here if you did but--forgive me. I should have taken you with me.” You whispered back, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. “I--Love, what do you need?” You asked, wanting the panic to leave him and for that goofy smile to return to his lips.  “Just…touch me…please.” It was a request you were more than happy to fulfill, pulling him ever closer into your hold.

If you ever need space, Polnareff is more than happy to give it to you

But that sad puddle he became when you went a whole minute without touching him while just being friends becomes an oh-so-sad ocean

The rest of the Crusaders are going to be teasing the hell out of the guy for being such a gloomy, near-sobbing mess

And speaking of the other Crusaders

They cannot stand how touchy you two are

The phrase “get a room”, among other things, is almost always spilling from their lips 

Oh boy and talking about lips

KISS THIS MAN

Give him soft kisses

Kiss him on his blushing cheeks, forehead, nose, ears, shoulders

Pepper this man in kisses 

And he is kissing you right back

Taking your hands in his and pressing kisses to your knuckles

He’s kissing the inside of your wrist as you sit on the train or at dinner

Kissing the top of your head as you walk

Just kisses everywhere, all the time

He likes to talk to you while his lips are touching your skin

Likes it even more if he can whisper sweet nothings in French against your own lips

You happily hummed as you ate, the soft, classical music floating through the bustling restaurant not the tune you had chosen to muse as spectacular spices and flavors brust over your tongue. A warm thumb brushed at the side of your mouth, clearing a bit of sauce from your skin. Your face began to feel warm at the touch, knowing exactly whose thumb had swiped over your skin.  You turned, finding Polnareff’s gray eyes already watching you. Eyes so full of loving adoration it took your breath away every time you looked into them.  “Did you get it all?” Your voice sounding near breathless as you took in his handsome, which a bright smile adorned. Polnareff hummed in mock thought, taking your chin between his fingers. He turned your face this way and that, searching for a mess that you knew was nowhere to be found. “Ah! There is some just there.” He said, guiding your face ever closer.  “Are you going to get it for me?” You asked, lips parting as your face was drawn closer to his.   “Of course, mon coeur.” He all but purred, turning that warmth into a burning fire. Your heart raced as he leaned into you, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. He hardly pulled away before you were grabbing hold of his shirt, keeping him close. “I--I think I feel some more. Just here.” You said, voice wobbling as you tapped your other cheek. Polnareff widely grinned, more than eager to place a chaste kiss to your other cheek. “And here.” You breathed, tapping your lips. A chuckle left Polnareff’s chest that grew muffled against your lips.   He kissed you sweetly. So sweet it had your heart melting and your stomach fluttering around like it had grown wings like some butterfly.  “Good grief.” The gruff voice of Jotaro grumbled from across the table where he sat.   “Mr. Joestar,” Kakyoin huffed, his typically smooth voice laced in utter disgust at you and Polnareff’s actions. “Please make them stop.”   “Me? Stop them?” The oldest Joestar all but shouted from where he sat at your side. Kakyoin must have nodded because Joseph gave a huffing grumble of his own. “Alright, you two. Knock it off. This place is nice--and in public.” He tried, to no avail.  You both ignored the group, lips pulling away only so you could pepper Polnareff’s face in kisses he was more than happy to return. Whispered Mon amours, mon coeurs, among other loving titles pressed into your skin making it tingle in delight. “Eh--see. They won’t listen to me.” Joseph huffed.  “I do not believe there is a power on this earth or in the heavens above that is strong enough to keep them apart.” The calm voice was Advol spoke from Polnareff’s side, a light chuckle in his voice.  A giggle escaped your lips at his words, nuzzling your nose against Polnareff’s. They were words you couldn’t help but full-heartedly believe as Polnareff cupped your jaw in his strong hand, kissing your lips like it was the last time he would ever taste them again.

If he’s driving the group, you better believe you're sitting shotgun so he can place a hand on your thigh, giving it gentle squeezes to remind you he’s always thinking about you

If Joseph is insistent about sitting in the front, Polnareff either refuses to drive outright or is reaching into the back to hold your hand much to Jotaro and Kakyoin’s displeasure

Will reach over one of the others to touch you

Has and will lead to a shouting match between Polnareff and the others

But he refuses to be so close to you yet so so far

He’ll even go as far as to send Silver Chariot to sit with you and hold your hand if he can’t be there with you

Though this has led to one too many Star Platinum beatdowns 

CUDDLE THE MAN

Oh my goodness PLEASE cuddle him

He’s so warm and his arms are so safe

Only one bed? 

No trouble whatsoever! 

Polnareff wasn’t going to sleep without you anyway

Only a few rooms left?

Polnareff and you have been deemed your own room because the others will not deal with your touchiness while trying to sleep mere inches away

Polnareff’s cuddle could save a life

It’s a fact

His fingers are rubbing circles into your back or arm

His face buried in the crook of your neck so he could take in your scent and dream of you while he sleeps

Whether it be a hug from the front or back, he has his arms around you while you sleep

His legs intertwining between yours, molding himself against you

He literally worships the ground you walk on so why wouldn’t he just want to become another extension of your being?

The only thing he won’t always want touched is his hair

He spent nearly an hour that morning in the dimly lit hotel bathroom getting it just right

And he loves you

GOD he loves you

He loves you so much it hurts

But his hair is off-limits until you both are settling in for the night

Then he is more than happy to let you run your fingers through his hair

He also won’t be completely opposed to you helping him style his hair in the morning, but you’ll need to go through several days of “training” before you can even touch one of his combs

Apprentice to the Villain (book 2) was a fantasy adventure

I'm about 15% through Accomplice to the Villain (book 3) as of this bullet point, and it's shaping up to be the best one yet

Idk how Evie and Gideon got past Nura (albeit accidentally) aiming the full force of her powers at Lyssa so quickly; If Keeley hadn't been there, Lyssa would have died

RENNEDAWN'S STORY WAS WRITTEN ON THE WINDOWS ALL ALONG (amazing plot device that the original glass was used, but the windows were all redesigned, so they'll have to go piecing it all together again)

If Kingsley loses his human sentience, and it’s not fixed by the end of the book, I’m gonna riot ➡️ we didn’t even get one sentence from his human lips, but he’s back!

Trystan “The Villain” Maverine STUTTERING. High five Evie✋

All of chapter 19 was glorious

ANALYSIS

THE TRAILER

Theorist Ink has entered the chat, and it's time to take this frame by frame. Now, to get it out of the way, the teasers and trailers do not correlate to the canon (and potential) plot directly. I'm aware that it's not, but I do analyze them regardless only bc they still provide information. Not point to point but something and, as I always said, something is better than nothing. Are we good? Good, then let's get to it:

The composition of this trailer is absolutely brilliant, props to the Team honestly. Take, for example, the juxtaposition between these two scenes:

Look at the first one. It's warm and cozy with such warm colors, the placement of the chairs and dinnerware arranged to feel tender. The table was neatly set, and plenty of home-cooked food for Karen and her kids. Speaking of the family, look how they are placed. Karen may be the head of the household but her kids are just as important at the table, even her chair is within her kids.

Then there's the second one. It's cold and eerie with a single light shining down on the table. Solitary. Notice how all that is on the table is pizza. No water, no napkins, no appetizers. Not even a pizza box! Just a single slice on their plate. Which is crazy bc if you recall in the last episode, Mr. WPNZ complained to Karen that he was "slaving away making dinner", and this so-called dinner was pizza. Hell, I won't be surprised if he just ordered that pizza to be delivered. Notice again the arrangement of the characters. The chairs for the kids being pushed to opposite sides (see how Cory has to share the space with Zach now), while WPNZ specifically has his space as the head of the table. He is the one who wants to take charge, being above his kids. He is the one in control of the family, removing Karen as head of household. That is what he believes.

While one showed a true loving family, the other was essentially an illusion of what WPNZ wants to gain from all of this, through manipulation. He thinks he can come in, bribe the kids to enjoy his company, and enter the family like it was nothing. Remember, to the kids, he is a mere stranger they met days ago, and to Karen, he was the last person she wanted to be near her kids. But, oh boy, he thinks he "deserves" it and wants to be "part of the family".

It's up to you how much you want to believe in his word. From my personal perspective, his past feelings mutated into an obsession for Karen, and he stalked her family just so he could be a part of it, never taking any accountability for what he's done. And he's aware, don't get it twisted. He planned this fully knowing how this was going to affect Karen, just enough that motherly desperation would cloud her judgment and accept any deal to save her kids. (That's what I think, don't hold me for this).

Now, you may be probably wondering why I was like "....pizza" in my reaction. To the regulars here, you probably remember when I answered an ask about how I would think Karen's confrontation:

Y'know it was a hypothetical silly writing prompt, way before the shadow teaser mind you. And first off, I stand by it being seen as a hostage situation in Karen's eyes. We don't know how the kids truly are or how much they know, but I'm sure Karen would prioritize getting them out of there.

Second, I suspect that Mr. WPNZ was exaggerating about him making dinner so I wrote:

WPNZ offered her a seat, dinner already set on the table. So, she took the seat closest to him on his left, using herself as a barrier between her and the kids. She looked at the plate, spaghetti. So, this was apparently the so-called dinner he was "slaving himself away". Pfft, pathetic, pasta was the easiest dish to make. She almost wanted to laugh. [literally a couple of paragraphs later] And, lo and behold, Mario invites himself in with such a jolly mood. While everyone was so confused by his presence, his attention immediately turned towards the spaghetti, obviously. He immediately vacuumed all the spaghetti with a satisfied gulp. The kids giggled at it, after all it was their Uncle Mario. Well, that just happened, and it may be the opening Karen needed. She grabbed Mario by the hand and excused themselves with a promise of reheated leftover pizza. (Like I said, this was before the shadow teaser so I had Mario go help Karen. 3 would've stayed behind in this old version btw.)

I was like ".......did the Team find this somehow?" lmao. But nah fr, it got me by the pizza alone.

Speaking of Karen, let's talk about her potential role in the movie. Ofc, as the main star and mom, she's going to push herself past her limits just for her kids. We've seen how she maneuvered in the trees, how she literally got hit by a car. But nothing's going to stop her, that motherly adrenaline kicking in. Probably, the only thing that could get her off guard would be Mr. WPNZ, seeing how his presence alone made her freeze.

Even her kids are looking at her confused as to why she looks like she's seen a ghost. And maybe it's bc it might be. You can't exactly blame her. Look at the photo with Karen and WPNZ from the corkboard:

It seems like it was taken after she was recruited by Hitman Inc, based on the leather jacket she wore when she got recruited, lack of dirt and emotional weariness from living in the streets, and from WPNZ's "greeting" from the last episode.

She was trained to be an assassin in exchange for security. She got to work and got close to WPNZ. Perhaps there was a time when there were genuine feelings, that they had a mutual connection being under the corporation's watch. But clearly, things completely went downhill for Karen to leave the corporation and WPNZ entirely. Enough to know who WPNZ really is. And now, he's back out of nowhere and "persuading" her to let him join. Big red flag there. Karen is certainly a capable mom, but after a whole day worrying about her kids and having to face her psycho ex, I don't think she should go through this alone. Not when he has everything in his favor.

Oh boy, Mr. WPNZ... where do I even begin with this guy?

I guess we can talk about his design. First off, ngl he's literally a military tank. I mean, are you gonna tell me that I'm wrong? But no really, like I said, props to the Team for making a unique. To me, at least, he gives me fish vibes based on his smooth face and jacket zipper design. (watch me be so wrong tho) You can just look at the minecraft skin version and say "yeah i can see it".

And yet, it's so ridiculous and I love it.

So, when can we curbstomp him? Seriously like, I went back to the flashing images frame by frame. They're just the frames used within the same trailer; nothing really stands out. But I did want to talk about these 2:

We already know WPNZ has been spying on Karen and her kids. You know that, I know that. But the fact that he took pictures of them with the rest of the Crew. He knows about the Crew. Granted, I'm sure he's only after the family but he knows that Karen has a relationship with the Crew and he may use this info to his advantage. Perhaps as a threat for her to comply with whatever deal he has in mind.

Now, for the obvious question, how is this going to end? Assuming from what the Team wrote before, Karen is sure to turn the tables around against WPNZ. But is there anything we could expect from the movie?

SILENCE OF THE LAMBS CATS

The choices the Team makes are intentional, if you haven't learned that from me already. For example, the typewriter font used for the end cards implies that the corporation may be subtly involved (backstory-wise) bc the Team could've chosen any font for the end there.

What is peculiar is the movie title itself, and it may be our biggest clue. The Team has been VERY particular in titling their movies, I'm still not over how brilliant the "Western Spaghetti" title was. It was clearly taken from "Silence of the Lambs", and there has to be a reason why they chose it.

For those who aren't familiar, the story's about a serial killer and psychiatrist, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. We follow FBI cadet Clarice Starling working on catching a serial killer who's been abducting women, but in order to crack it, she would need to think like a killer. So she seeks out Lecter for advice. The story touches on going against the norm:

Starling working in a male-dominated occupation. Not in a "I need to prove myself as an equal to my coworkers", but rather adapting to the work environment and using it to her advantage. She already is capable and incredibly intelligent; there's no need to prove anything to anyone. Then, it was revealed she had a traumatic past, when life was simpler.

Lecter isn't the typical psychotic serial killer. He is cunning and well-educated, so much so that he surpasses the evaluations in the psych prison. He can be seen as charming and respectful, which might confuse characters and the viewer about how sincere he really is.

By the end, Starling was able to do better than her co-workers did and find the true killer, shooting him dead. Meanwhile, Lecter used his skills to break out of custody by faking his identity, and merging himself into society like a shadow so he could go take revenge on the people who wronged him.

(Ofc I don't want to go too deep into this for spoilers and content warnings but this is the overall gist for the horror piece. If I got anything wrong, please do correct me.)

This psychological horror piece really fits with the arc we were given, with both established and possible points.

Karen, a former assassin (in a typically male-dominating job), is capable of handling situations herself through brains and broad. However, she's running away from a terrible past and having to confront it so she can live in peace.

WPNZ used his cunning and charm to sway the kids on his side and planned everything from the get-go for Karen to "fall for the trap". Though he's not on the same level as Lecter by his "reckless and chaotic" nature, he's always several steps ahead.

Karen may have to keep up with someone to aid her in taking down WPNZ. Yes, she's capable but WPNZ has all the advantages at the moment, especially with the kids being in the situation. So, what else can she do but think like a villain? *cough cough*

By the end of the movie, it's possible that WPNZ may not go to prison. He could escape from custody or someone he knows picks him up after retreating. With the corporation being an underlying factor for the arc, they might pick him up and be like "what are you doing during your work hours? stealing our resources?"

FINAL THOUGHTS

For now, those are my thoughts. A bit disappointed that we never got to see the shadow reveal but I'm still excited for the movie AAAAAAA

I’ve always, for some odd reason, liked Zira. She was delusion, a bitch and was entertaining to watch. And she showed 0 shame about it.

Proudly moved out of the pridelands to a place with little food, no water. Was willing to hand kovu over as punishment . Creeped around pride rock like a stalker.

And above it all, start to finish, she was a TRUE hater. I must give her her props. She loathed Simba and stuck to it, she never had a change of heart, not even when Vatani (her own daughter, mind you) looked at her with sheer disgust and told her it was over.

This bitch looked at her daughter and said “then you will die as well”. ROUND OF APPLAUSE👏👏👏👏

A TRUE hater.

We don’t see that quote often in disney films especially nowadays, we see them be slightly regretful or panic in their last moments, but Zira????? Zira did NOT fold. She knew she was gonna fall to her death and still tried to take Kiara with her…….. and still fell.

She may get ALOT of hate but she stood ten toes down for her man and no one, not even her own children could stop her. And hey! I respect it.

Zira, you will always be great to me. “My lullaby” was the best song in the soundtrack.

ALSO her rage when speaking about haircut too, yeah that was the perfect amount of dialogue that i wanted to see from her. her stealing rick’s time of seeing rj’s birth, first steps, etc. UGH. so excellent, you could feel her burning anger in her voice.

all of these callbacks throughout the episode but the best, most important and evident one was the mere fact that they’re a team again. kicking ass, and simply leading each other because that’s what they’re the best at. before any of their romance began, they were trusted confidants who worked so well side by side, and in this episode we got to see and feel the satisfaction and elation of having that back again!!!!!

i felt like i was at a drive thru restaurant ordering the entire episode. can i get some flirting, with a side of ass kicking, and ummm let me get a side of poetic, confessional yearning from rick grimes. yeah, that’ll be all.

rick telling gabriel that he wanted to marry michonne on the bridge. 🥺……. 😡 AND THEN EVERYTHING GOES TO SHIT AFTERWARDS. IMAGINE THE WORLD IF JADIS NEVER KIDNAPPED HIM. THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND HIM EVENTUALLY LIKE HE WAS RIGHT UP THE STREET?? oof — i cannot. we waited so long to hear this admirable dialogue but at what cost. it’s so sad, but at least we’re here now as michonne would say!!!!!
