But now on to any changes about the website since it's the morning for me now and I want to take another look (this feels like the good ole Five Nights at Freddy's days lmao)~

There's a reflection in the glass of the vending machine

I enhanced the image by changing the settings like this (sorry it's in German):

It seems to be a tree which is very on brand with the poster. Got the trunk at the center and the branches and leaves fanning out. I feel dumb for not seeing it before lmao but I was also bouldering for two hours on a nearly empty stomach yesterday so my brain was barely there anymore.

All the links on the website are still not clickable, and when you drag the screen, you can see why: the Out Of Order image is basically plastered overtop of the website to make everything non-functional:

Storyline Masterlist

For me, it currently looks like this:

A vending machine with six options to choose from, likely meaning there'll be six tracks on the album, which means this'll be their seventh album to have six tracks (10th if you count Japanese albums) - including Golden Hour Pt.1 and 2 so they're about to pull a 666 on us with this series.

Btw this'll also be their thirteenth Korean extended play (aka a mini album)~

Looking at the website's source code (if you're on Firefox like me, you can just press ctrl+U to get there), you'll find the following in the EIGHTH line:

"Stay tuned for further updates"

I guess that's what we'll do then, hm?

Side-note: Regarding the visual of a vending machine, I don't know how noteworthy that is just yet, so I may or may not get back to that later.

Hello. I wanted to ask you whether you know if the Mozart l'Opera Rock 3D (2011) is available anywhere without Korean subtitles? I would love to find or buy a clean version but I can't seem to find it anywhere. ;-;

Sorry it took a while to get to this, had a lot of other stuff to deal with on this blog, but okay getting to it now.

I do love the 2011 over the 2009/10 production simply because of Salieri's ponytail, alright also because I think everyone's acting improved by the later production.

Sadly, you cannot purchase the 2011 production anywhere as it was never released for purchase. You can see it's listed on IMDB and Letterboxd, but that's because it was filmed professionally and streamed in cinemas, but never then released onto DVD or as a digital download. You can purchase the DVD of the original 2009/10 production, I got my copy of Ebay.

I don't know of any that have no subtitles, like the Korean ones that are on the copy on Youtube that also has English subtitles as well. If anyone knows of any copies of the 2011 proshot, whether that's to stream of if you want to trade for it, please shoot me a dm!!

Actually as I'm getting this together I just noticed the copy of the 2011 video that was on Youtube which was the only copy with English subtitles isn't there anymore.

^ This version now shows as 'video unavailable'. The 2010 still is, but not the 2011 (well it is with Russian subs but not the English ones). There is a different copy now that has huge English subtitles on it, I don't know if they're the same subs but they take up much more of the screen than the old ones. You guys are lucky I save everything. I have the video and I also extracted the subtitles from the Youtube video so, I'm going to do what I just did with the copy of Mozart das musical with English subs that got taken off Youtube, and I'm going to put the 2011 with the English subtitles up on archive . org where it should hopefully stay archived. My account on archive is WennLi3b3.

EDIT: I've now uploaded the 2011 English subs that have been deleted/taken down off Youtube onto archive . org. You can stream it with the subtitles and also download it and the subtitles and I've put instructions in the description on how to play the subtitles if you download them.

Honestly, though, I still rescue earthworms from sidewalks and have since I was a child in our little informal, weird-girl, after-school bug-club, as I’m sure many of us did and still do. All life has value. (Still feeling confused about the ethical/ecological implications of rescuing non-native worms. When so many United States cities present as sanitized, sterilized, anonymous concrete-asphalt landscapes - covered in manicured non-native grass lawns - are the already-firmly-entrenched non-native earthworms causing much more damage in residential lawns if you save a few, so long as you avoid introducing them to intact ecological sites outside city limits? No pun intended, but that discourse is a whole other can of worms. Discussion for another time.) So I’ve seen some disparaging remarks made about the Moral Character of non-native earthworms, so obligatory statement: Earthworms of course are not villains or actively malevolent. Colonization; Indigenous dispossession; empire; profit-oriented thinking; industrial monoculture; large-scale geoengineering over years to reshape the entirety of the Turtle Island and Latin American landscapes as if they were “bountiful” European farms populated by “familiar and comforting” European species, etc. -  earthworms are a physical manifestation of those issues.

Much of the Palouse has been converted to agriculture, damaging the soil, and the worm was apparently missing for decades until recent encounters confirmed that it’s still alive. The Palouse giant earthworm and the endangered Oregon giant earthworm (Driloleirus macelfreshi) - from prairie-oak woodland of Willamette Valley - are both contenders for the title of “largest native earthworm in North America.”

Nice to hear some info on boreal environments, thank you @theeclectickoalastudent - This is also how tiger salamanders (Ambystoma mavoritum) - native in North America east of the Great Basin - were artificially introduced to Mediterranean California: People were importing salamander larvae as fishing bait. (Pretty brutal to begin with, if you ask me.) And now the iconic, unique California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) - endemic only to California and which was already endangered - is forced to directly compete to reclaim its own oak woodland and chaparral habitat from its introduced relative. And we can’t let United States “conservation” and land management agencies and institutions off the hook for the obscene and mind-boggling scale of damage they’ve historically done stocking non-native sport fish species in watersheds of the American West, followed by the stocking of non-native crustaceans to feed the fish. (Speaking of non-native species threatening salamanders, I was [just] hyperfixating the other day on how the Mazama newt - endemic only to Crater Lake, Oregon - may soon be driven extinct by the voracious introduced crayfish species Pacifastacus leniusculus.)

On that note, regarding earthworm introduction as a means to improve your own access to food (via garden) or food (via using them as fishing bait): I did definitely see some people being serious about this, so it’s worth noting the irony of a well-meaning action which nevertheless deliberately introduces European species, erasing/degrading native ecology, and also resulting in the destruction of Indigenous foodsheds. Reshaping the Earth, remolding the continent, and promoting the physical/literal invasion of a European species in the hopes of making the land more “fruitful” and “bountiful”? In my US and/or Canada? Just as likely as you think.

I really am not a good person to ask. (Though I’d identify some blatantly obvious solutions - Indigenous autonomy and land management; the dismantling of industrial monoculture crop extraction and associated industry; etc.) I’m not a soil scientist, botanist, entomologist, or technical ecologist/biologist (more into environmental geography/history). However, I had your comment in mind when I wrote [this post] about loss of forest understory and savannafication in the Midwest, addressing why it is that so much earthworm research comes from schools/institutions in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario, due partially to the critical ecological importance of the northern central hardwoods forests as a frontline against worm expansion into boreal environments.

Since a lot of invasive earthworm research and dialogue focuses on the Great Lakes region, we’re in luck because Tumblr might have a resident expert so to speak, since I’m pretty sure @starfoozle specializes in Great Lakes-region invasive species. Regarding “What Can Be Done” to rally community effort, for someone with experience in Midwest landscapes specifically involving citizen science and community engagement with ecology, shout-out to @glumshoe.

Hi! On the desktop site for my tumblr if you hover your mouse over “downloads” a dropdown menu will appear which links to all downloads tags I’ve used, including one for each supernatural state (and mermaids and bonehilda, too!). Everything there is a clickable link that’ll take you to the appropriate tag, with even “downloads” itself taking you to a tag that should contain everything I’ve ever uploaded. I even have an “RCC mod” tag that includes not only all updates to RCC but also any ask related to RCC, since I’ve clarified some info about it in asks and I thought for that mod it could be helpful (if I was more organized I’d have more tags like this but at this point that’s clearly not happening…).

Alternatively, because my tumblr does have a lot of posts on it and can be overwhelming to browse, you can go to my LJ where I have posts on the first page listing and linking to my downloads with preview pics/short descriptions. A lot of these downloads are grouped by supernatural type; there’s also a “misc mods” post for non-supernatural mods, some posts for bodyshop/build/buy CC, etc. You can also explore the downloads tags there and go back to earlier pages to see my older downloads, but those are… well, less good.

It’s worth noting that the downloads grouped together in a single LJ post aren’t always ordered chronologically, no one gets notified of updates to the posts, and sometimes like today I don’t get around to updating it right away when I upload something, so it can be a convenient way to see what I’ve put up so far but it’s hard to tell what’s new and what I’ve updated and now needs to be re-downloaded. Also, while I try to make sure I keep all the important info when I rewrite the descriptions for LJ, I tend to write longer descriptions on tumblr and make a note of all updates so you might want to check the tumblr post for any download you think you’d like if you want more info.

Charlottesville is a fucking mess. So here it is: your 0-60 speed-run through your white feelings to get you on board… In no particular order.

How did this happen? Because you haven’t been listening.

I’m not racist. Then fucking prove it.

I’ve tried to help in the past but I just feel so lost. This is because you’re thinking on an individual level. White people are a group and you are a part of that group.

There’s nothing I can do to help. Amplify. Speak out. Follow the voices on the ground. Denounce white supremacy.

I don’t know how to do that. Like this: “What’s happening in Charlottesville is because of us, white folks. It’s because we haven’t been accountable. It’s because we haven’t collected our own people. It’s because we haven’t faced our history and our complacency in this system. People are dying and I’m not standing for it anymore. Not in my name. Racism must be called out, named and abolished. White supremacy must be denounced. Nazis must be stopped.”

But what will people think of me? They’ll think you’re not quite as racist as the people with tiki torches but slightly more racist than the people getting run over by cars in counter-protest.

Oh my god, I feel so guilty. That’s because you’re thinking on an individual level. There isn’t time right now to educate you on all the systemic issues, but trust that this is not all your fault personally, but it is your fault if you personally don’t do anything.

I can’t get into a fight on the internet, I never know what to say. Then disable comments on your post and get on with your life. Or leave the comments on so you can weed out who’s a problem on your friends list.

I believe in peace. Then start acting like it. Peace does not happen by ignoring hatred and violence.

Why can’t we all just get along? Because people, including you, keep ignoring the problems and not addressing them directly.

I’m scared. You should be.

I just want life to go back to normal. Your normal was what led to this. Things cannot go back, I’m sorry that you’re uncomfortable now, but this is the reality that people of color have been living with forever. There is no normal.

I’m praying for the people in Charlottesville. That’s nice. Ever hear the story of the man in the flood, sitting on his roof and praying for God to save him? Go google it, then do something after you’re done praying.

What do I tell my children? You tell them there are people in this world who hate other people for the color of their skin and you are not okay with that.

I’m shaking, I’m nauseous, what is going on? That’s probably anger. Get into it, it’ll help fuel you. It’s not evil, it’s a tool. Anger cannot be willed away, it is an outward emotion that requires action.

I feel like I’m just cycling through. That’s normal. That’s the spiral. You’ll go through guilt, shame, anger, relief, over and over again. That’s normal. None of these feelings are here for a moment then gone forever. And the longer you push them down the more intense they become and the less you learn about how to deal with them.

Maybe this will all just blow over. Maybe, maybe not. Be like the scouts and be prepared.

I feel really targeted with all this talk of white people. I know. You’ll get used to it. It won’t always paralyze you.

Something about Martin Luther King Jr. Shhhh. SHHHHHH. No.

I want to say something eloquent and intelligent. Use a thesaurus. Just say something.

This is so overwhelming. Focus. One thing at a time. Right now we want to help counter-protesters in Charlottesville. We’ll get to the big picture stuff later.

I’m supposed to listen to the voices of people of color. Yes you are.

You’re white. Yes I am.

Why should I listen to you? Because you’re in your feelings and it’s my job to collect you and keep that emotional labor from people of color who are fighting on the front lines. The people being pepper-sprayed right now don’t have the time to talk you through your guilt.

White people doing anti-racism work are problematic. Yep, a lot of them are.

I went to an anti-racism workshop once and I think you’re doing this wrong. That’s cool, please go do it your way. We really just need more people standing up right now. I don’t care how you do it.

What’s the best course of action for allyship? This is not about giving you a sticker. Don’t try to be the best ally. Just be present, do something, do anything. If you’ve done nothing because you’re worried about being the best, then you’re a bigger problem than someone who’s trying but messing up.

What do I do when someone corrects me? Say “thank you” and apply the correction. It’s not about you, it’s about what’s working and what’s not.

I have so many thoughts and feelings about this. Please do not unpack them publicly. There are spaces for that.

I believe in non-violence. Non-violence is a privilege to those who are not being directly subjected to violence.

These alt-right people are all just basement dwellers and trolls. They’re not. They’re your friends and family. Your cousins. Your neighbours. They are everywhere and you need to make your position clear.

This is all Trump’s fault. These people didn’t materialize because of Trump. They’ve been empowered by him and his rhetoric. Do not waste time pointing fingers at Trump.

It feels unpatriotic to criticize free speech. What is the line between free speech and terrorism? Everyone must decide that for themselves, don’t just recycle someone else’s talking points without thinking it through.

My parent/sibling/partner/friend is one of these alt-right supporters, how do I bring them around? First, accept that you may not be able to. That doesn’t mean you can’t challenge them on it, it means you have to set boundaries for yourself. Decide what is acceptable and what is not, and don’t bend on your limits.

What can I do to protect myself? Enable two factor authentication on your social media. Also – start training. I suggest Krav Maga. Of course if you used to twirl batons back in the day, you’re halfway towards being Morgan from The Walking Dead. Because when it comes to your town, you’re going to stand up.

just a fair warning, this post is gonna be long, and darkmoor is hell. if you’re farming for gear, i’d suggest buying crowns to throw in malistaire’s chest so you only have to do this once. i’d also strongly advise you have full potions and that you fill them before each instance. you’re more than likely gonna die a couple times.

First Instance (Castle Darkmoor):

Howling Chaney

Howling Chaney is easy AF. There’s only one rule for his fight: No heals.

Sir Blackwater

Charms, or blades, trigger Blackwater to remove blades from the caster, but there’s a way around this cheat: he won’t remove blades cast on other people. Sir Blackwater is particularly annoying because of his interrupt cycles. Basically, the gist of them is that he heals himself literally every round. There is no way to stop the cycles, and they go on until the end of the battle. You should probably talk to your team about a strategy for one-shotting him. Therefore, the rules: Only cast blades on other people, and make sure you have a strategy going into this fight or you’re gonna be in for a world of hurt my dude.

Puzzle!!

There’s a puzzle after defeating Sir Blackwater. To solve it, first interact with the box labeled “Crimson Lens,” then interact with the lever labeled “Neutral Density Filter.”

Second Instance (Upper Halls):

Akhtang Wormcrawl

Akhtang is also easy AF. the only rule for this battle: No blades.

Spirit of Darkmoor

Welcome to hell. Blades trigger a Scald, traps (except multi-target traps) trigger a Natural Attack, damage spells trigger a Rebirth, and defeating her minions triggers an Eternal (Life) Leviathan, which does damage and revives her minions. Additionally, she has pretty sucky interrupt cycles. Rules: Make sure to ask your team before using blades or traps. Come up with a strategy for hitting with lots of damage at once.

Shane Von Shane

Universal (non-school) traps trigger a blade, negative charms (Weakness, Bad Juju, etc.) trigger a Sacrifice, and heals trigger a Vampire that does 1050 base damage. Shane has an interrupt cycle that is triggered/reset by him being attacked, but it’s not nearly as bad as Blackwater or the Spirit’s cycles. Rules: Ask before casting traps, no negative charms, and no heals. 

Third Instance (Graveyard):

Yevgeny NightCreeper

Blades and global spells trigger a stun, shields will be removed, and negative charms trigger a Bad Juju on the caster. Yevgeny has interrupt cycles, but once again, not much can be done to get rid of them. Rules: Blades are OK but will stun you, no shields, and no negative charms.

Shane Von Shane (Star)

Blades trigger a 0-pip Supercharge, negative charms trigger Sacrifice, universal traps trigger Dark Pact, heals trigger a Vampire with 1050 base damage, and hitting Shane triggers Healing Current. Shane has two interrupt cycles: Storm and Death. The Storm cycle repeats throughout the entire battle, but the Death cycle only repeats if Shane is attacked. Rules: No negative charms and no heals. Ask before casting blades, universal traps, and before hitting. As usual, make sure your team has a strategy to hit with lots of damage before going in.

Malistaire the Undying (Shadow)

Welcome to Hell (Advanced Version). First off, this boss respawns. When you defeat Malistaire the Undying, he respawns as Haunted Malistaire with 60,000 health. To combat this, casting Doom and Gloom before killing him will lower his health down to 35,069 (regular Doom) or to 25,049 (TC Doom). 

Now, onto the cheats. They are the same for Mali the Undying and Haunted Mali, except for the primary interrupt cycle. Universal blades and shields will be stolen. Universal traps and negative charms (except for ones that go to all enemies, such as windstorm) will be removed. Single-target attacks trigger a Black Mantle. At the beginning of the fifth round, and every four rounds after (rounds 9, 13, 17, etc.), Mali’s bone dragon will remove all charms (blades) and wards (shields and traps) from each wizard. Now, onto the rules: No universal blades or shields, and no universal traps or negative charms. Make sure you attack before Mali’s bone dragon steals all your stuff. Cast that Doom and Gloom, or you’re gonna have an even worse time.

gosh i honestly don’t know where to start. I’ve been an avid reader in various fandoms for so many years now. the amount of fics i’ve read is legit on ridiculous side of the scale.

i do keep an annual rec list where i compile all the fics i’ve read and really enjoyed over the year. there’s like, over 35 fandoms and 1000 fics listed there because i’m a slut for fics and shameless about it. they can be found under /tagged/notdead-recs and i highly recommend using chrome or something because read-mores doesn’t work on tumblr mobile and you probably do not want to scroll through that on your phone. unless you do then bless your masochistic heart. (also, do note that i read pretty much everything except graphic non-con, so do pay attention to the tags)(also also, the links are supposed to be clickable but they broke at some point i honestly haven’t been arsed to fix them yet. sorry!)

but if i’m to pick one favourite fic, one fic that i basically push into peoples face like “omg have you read this??! it’s like the best fic!! it’s amazing and you need to read it!! if you already have read it, you need to read it again!” it’d probably beee....

May Contain Nuts by scoradh (here on AO3). definitely. It’s Harry/George post-hogwarts and has some of the most perfect, hilarious lines i’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. like for real, i re-read this fic at least once a year.
