I can't remember where I saw it, I think it was Clayface from Batman, but I distinctly remember seeing a show where a person was drowned with clay/mud/dough. It was shoved down their throat in a torrent and the choking sounds they made were awful. They didn't do anything over the top like explode they just... drowned. Horribly.

Now picture Doey killing a prison guard like that

(not really a question sorry, more an examination of how strong and ruthless Doey can be)

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful stuff (genuine!!!) That definitely sounds like Clayface, he was ruthless in the animated shows. Everyone on here is so lucky I am incapable of drawing things that are genuinely scary or threatening or intimidating (trust me TwT I’ve tried) because the angst I could draw OOOGH just imagining it

When Doey goes on that killing spree after Bella and Lucas die it is ruthless, genuinely ruthless. He is desperate to feel in control, to feel powerful, and to make these people cower and be scared in the way he has both felt and seen his friends feel. Violent thoughts and dreams are normal for everyone, but they lived in an environment of violence which used violence to keep people in line, the killing barely even feels real as he is doing it.

It doesn’t make him feel better, he can’t even hold the remains of his friends without sullying them with blood. In the time he spent rampaging the lower levels have been properly locked down (these measures break down pretty quickly with no one to maintain them, but it is the reason Doey never made a run for it before Safe Haven was established) and he entirely squandered any chance to escape. He couldn’t even live for his friends who died because he was too busy crushing everything in sight. He didn’t try and keep doors open for toys to escape out of, didn’t help other smaller toys who were suffering the same fate as Bella and Lucas during the chaos, didn’t even consider the kids just a level up, the ones who hadn’t been hurt like they he had.

Little idea I’ve had floating around. So, Omega doesn’t really care about fashion and stuff. He doesn’t outright hate it or anything, he just doesn’t really care about wearing clothes and stuff since it’s not practical for him.

But of course, every now and then Rouge gets him to oblige. Eventually, they find out what works for him.

Specifically, the kind of clothes that secretly double as weapons. I can see Omega being really into that. Like he has custom clothes and accessories that secretly turn into extra guns and explosives.

FANTASTIC headcanon!!!

Somebody needs to draw Omega with a sword cane right now. While it'd be funny if it was an actually effective sword, I think it would be just as delightful if it's one of those cheap gag ones you find floating around a lot of antique malls. It's flimsy and dull and shitty but Omega relishes the moment he pulls it out of the handle and points it at a (not) unsuspecting victim. Probably Sonic.

But as far as actually effective concealed weapons, that would be awesome. Charms that hang off his "belt"? Surprise! Grenades. Rouge has always had a bit of technical expertise so I imagine she could build any charm she swipes into a handy little explosive for him.

And then of course, the shining jewel of his clothing collection- a custom denim vest with patches for all his favorite bands sewn on. Who sewed it? Nobody's telling. . . but apparently Shadow has a bunch of abandoned cross-stitch stuff in his closet, so. . .

Do you mean my favorite moth species or my favorite bug species in general? I will answer both :D

I don’t know very many moth species but I really enjoy the ones that look “boring” because there are actually so many of them!! And they’re all slightly different!! And I think that’s cool. My favorite charismatic moth species is the Ailanthus Webworm Moth!

It looks like a beetle or a true bug, and then when it flies it looks like a wasp, but it’s actually a moth!!! Sneaky sneaky. It actually didn’t used to be very common in my area because it usually lived further south, but as climate change warms everything up it is a lot more common to see now. It’s still considered native though! So yay.

I also really like dragonflies!! Specifically damselflies. They’re cool and pretty. This is one of the prettiest dragonflies I’ve ever found. It’s called a Great Blue Skimmer. It was MASSIVE

Fireflies are also very awesome.

Oh and katydids! Here’s a cool one I found recently. It’s called a fork-tailed bush katydid

Did you know that 1/3 of all insects are beetles? I learned that the other day and it’s a very fun fact hehehhehe

I love bugs a lot. They’ve become like a mild special interest lately. They make me so happy 🤗🤗🤗

With corn to hide in or to scare others

I bet the toys LOVE to play hide n seek in the corn field, oh my God. Angel has to keep telling them to be careful with the corn because they keep destroying parts of it. A random person gets lost in the forest and finds themself in the corn field only to find Mommy Long Legs all stretched out and looking for the small toys, kickstarting a new urban legend in the area. Picky keeps yelling at everyone to be careful because she's trying her best to take care of the corn!

Out of curiosity, what caused the change for the turtles in your Tactical AU? EPF? A force they weren't prepared for? I understand the Word of God answer, but I was wondering if there was an in-universe one.

Oh Sophia, the can of worms you just opened…

Let's start from the top, shall we?

In my AU…

The turtles had been created in a lab, purposely. They were made to be weapons. However, the human DNA that was used to humanize them gave them morals that caused them to be emotional and somewhat untrainable for what the scientists needed and wanted them for.

They had been bred in captivity. Their parents were chosen carefully, looking for distinct traits and abilities.

They were trying to create the Perfect Specimen.

Leonardo and Michelangelo are full-blooded brothers.

As are Raphael and Donatello.

This means these two sets of brothers are only family thanks to Splinter -who was also created in the same lab.

NOW.

When they were originally bred, there were 2 more of the ninja brothers in this AU. But they kinda got… separated if you will. I don’t want this to turn into a dissertation LOL

ANYWAY.

They escaped the lab after the benefactor decided they didn’t want them due to their morals, they needed brainless soldiers who would do as they were told.

Splinter takes the boys and raises them (5 of them until tragedy strikes, leaving them with the four we know and love). 

As they got older, they realized that being vigilante ninjas wasn’t going to cut it. The world was a dangerous place, especially when they encountered some of said brainless soldiers, specifically the warehouse wolves (who took their fifth ninja's life and almost killed Donnie—but that's another story for another day). They quickly realized that they needed to become more. So Don made them all special gear, to make sure that type of accident would never happen again.

THEN, it became even MORE pressing after Don delved into Quantum Physics and built a portal door, allowing him to access different timelines and planes of existence.

Through secret meetings between Don and Splinter, after Don had shown him what the door could do, they decided it was time to up the ante. Thus, the Tactical Team Turtles were created. New gear. New weapons. For new worlds.

So, to answer your question, there were a few things that led up to their needing to form the team. But I'm not sure it qualifies as an in-universe one.

And if you think about it, It was kind of a direct result of Don’s fucking around with the multiverse.

god I'm so fucking furious at the removal of Te Reo Māori names from organisations around Aotearoa. it's a complete non-issue, every organisation has the English name directly underneath the Māori name. I have never once as an English speaker been unable to understand what an organisation is for. Winston Peters, the Deputy Prime Minister, who is literally Māori himself, said “Te Papa is a historic name but tell me this waka kotahi, how many boats have you seen going down the road?”. Waka does not just mean canoe. it means vessel, and waka kotahi (the transport agency of Aotearoa) explains this VERY SIMPLY on their official website. waka kotahi means to travel together as one. Can you see how fucking upsetting this is. A Māori person in power who is in agreement about banning his own language, being so cocky about something that he does not even understand due to the suppression of the language of his people. It makes me sick. I've seen reports from Māori people all over Aotearoa speaking out about how upset and furious they are, how decades of progress have been undone in the fight to restore the rights of their people who have for so long been oppressed and have suffered the effects of colonisation. Please share this if you can, I hate knowing how few people will hear about this, I know there is so much injustice in the world right now and it is so exhausting, I know. I love you all, keep it up.
