So I’ve been doing my chores like I do most Sundays, and I was thinking back on a conversation I had with a friend the other night when we discussed the details of our yearly Friendsgivesmas. (For those new here, my friends and I created a holiday in 2021 that combines all the holidays into one day.) I’m hosting, cooking, drink acquiring, which I enjoy doing, and she was giving me the money to do it. All good. And it hit me today that the only solid plans I have with my friends is four months from now.

And I know life happens and all of my friends are married and have kids and other obligations. It’s fine. Mostly I’m just mad that all I ever heard growing up, about being an adult, is that you have a partner and kids and a house and a job, etc. No one tells you how to navigate adulthood when you only have the house and the job when everyone else you spend time with has all those other things. And for the record, I’m absolutely fine with the lack of crotch goblins. That’s not a regret I’ll ever have. But it does get lonely sometimes when it’s just you and the dog. No one prepares you for how hard it is to meet new people as an adult. Especially when you’re painfully awkward around new people.

And that really suck.

If you're willing to run another bonus poll, I'd love to know the percentage of your followers listen to audio dramas vs. actual play/TTRPGs vs. both. Or a Kinsey scale of sorts might provide better metrics. I would think there is a strong overlap but would love to see the numbers!

A Kinsey scale is interesting, and I could turn off reblogs so only you all (and people you manually share it with) would answer. That and the limit to just two types of podcasts might provide different results than this poll.

I'd also be interested in quantity of podcasts vs quantity of listening hours, and will try and figure out how to represent two different axes of data on a twelve-option single-choice poll. Given the different average runtimes for the different types of podcasts, someone (me, lol) could easily listen to more audio dramas but spend more hours of their life listening to actual plays.

So basically, the overwhelming majority of the case against Trump--the one with 34 Guilty counts--was either about personal business, or referenced pre-Presidential conduct, or referenced conduct that was part of the Public Record and therefore non-privileged.

So basically, Trump has to be sentenced. :) This has to stand since the Supreme Court ruling can't apply, on its own terms, even if they could make Ex Post Facto Law.

It’s been a little while. I hope everything’s been good on your end!

As you can see, I took a bit of a different turn this time. Before diving into my upcoming Disordinato set, I wanted to take advantage of the new Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, especially since it added some cool features for tattoos.

I started testing to see if we could create our custom tattoo stamps, and once I realized it worked, I just had to make a full stamp set. Then I thought, “Well, what if we could display these tattoos in live mode too?” So, I made some framed tattoo artworks, then a few more. Next thing I knew, boom! A whole set was born. Totally unplanned.

And that’s how Rusty Needles came to life. This set includes 16 new objects and 34 custom tattoo stamps.

To use the custom stamps, you’ll need the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack. But don’t worry, I'm planning to upload a few ready-made tattoos to the gallery in the coming days for those who don’t own the pack.

You can decorate your tattoo studio with items like framed tattoo displays that match your Sim’s body art, waiting area seating, and tattoo chairs. (Please note: the interactive tattoo chair does require the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, but all the other items work with the base game!)
