Join us at Bodi Louisville from 3pm to 6pm for refreshments, specials and raffles where 10% of all proceeds from this event goes towards The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a non profit organization that advocates, educates, and provides crisis support for LGBTQ + young people.

This event is a great time to enjoy some wine and refreshments on us, take advantage of our September specials, ask questions about services we provide and mix and mingle with people from our community. We hope you join us as we do our part to help give back to our community!

We snagged @quickreaver to design this beautiful artwork for us & omg y'all. Just look at itttttt. Look at it! No really. Zoom in. You should definitely buy something so you can hold it up to your eyeballs and marvel at it.

Kasey has spent weeks working on this art, getting it on everything that stood still long enough to have art slapped on it. Tweaking & editing & tweaking again & cursing at various websites & coming back to tweak the art or the descriptions or the website so you gotta buy something out of sheer pity for them & their poor laptop who did not sign up for this bs lol.

This is our 3rd Pride fundraiser and every year we raise money for @thetrevorproject. An absolutely vital service for LGBTQI+ youth in America with international advice available. The world recently got a lot more scary for the LGBTQI+ community and the powers that be seem to target the youth as much as possible. The services The Trevor Project provide are invaluable in helping these kids find safety and security in our community. We can't all go toe-to-toe with the the courts, someone has to have a listening ear for the people who are afraid and hiding.

It's 2025 and there are still people out there, adults and children alike, that think being dead is better than being gay & Idling In the Impala says FUCK THAT!

All I Want for Christmas is Lou

Sharing as part of the BuckTommy Tevan fandom spreading some love this Christmas Eve with @alliwantforchristmasislou

2024 brought us the return of LouFerrignoJr as #TommyKinard on The911onABC as a new Love interest for #EvanBuckBuckley.

This pairing was a pleasant surprise & the public response was beautiful! When a couple comes along, you know it's meant to be when they just make you smile. And for Buck to come out as Bi has inspired many to also be true to themselves.

Mr. LFJ has been a pure ray of sunshine & an amazing addition to the cast. In November, the couple parted ways, & the audience response was clear: Bring Tommy back. Seeing Buck happy was beautiful & this story elicited huge emotional responses.

Their parting left an impact because it felt sudden & very open-ended. Both characters clearly want each other. This can't be over .Let's see BuckTommy finally find their happily ever after & explore all the trials & tribulations that come with it.

As part of the AllIWantForChristmasIsLou event this Christmas Eve, donations are being made to the TrevorProject in honor of the happiness & inspiration this couple brought and brings to the LGBT community. TheTrevorProject

Here's to hoping 2025 will bring these characters back together so we can see a beautiful love unfold & continue to be a source of light & smiles. Merry Christmas to all my BuckTommy Tevan peeps. 🏳️‍🌈 Priding In the Impala 2025: Ride With Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Y'all! There's only one week left of Pride Month this year! 🥳🏳️‍🌈💖 I hope you've had a chance, in whatever way was safe and meaningful for you, to celebrate what makes the LGBTQIA2S+ community so great, recognised what makes it so strong, remembered the challenges it has faced and overcome, and prepared for those that are still ahead.

One way we can all do that last bit is to support charities like @thetrevorproject, which supports queer youth in times of crisis. 🫶

Coincidentally (not coincidentally. 😄), it's the charity to which the @idlingintheimpalapodcast is donating 50% of the profits from their Priding In the Impala campaign. 🥳 The other 50% goes right back in to the running costs of the podcast (there are more than you might think).

This year's campaign design (the fabulous, rainbow-splashed artwork at the start of the post. 🌈) was brought to life by the incredibly talented and even more lovely @quickreaver. I was already a hopeless fangirl of hers from way back, so you can imagine how weak-kneed and starry-eyed I am about her now.

As you can see, I got the Holo Sticker (Circle, 5.5"), Magnet, Color Mug (Black, not the biggest one because I'm a doofus and wasn't paying attention and got distracted by colours like a dumb bird or something), and Tee (Black). I did also get the Poster (Unframed, 12x12"), but it's still in its special box waiting for me to get a frame for it because I am executive dysfunction personified. 😌

I honestly didn't realise how fulfilling it would be to have physical items of fandom in my house and on my clothes to wear outside until I bought these items, and I've been going a bit nuts buying fan merch since then. 🏳️‍🌈 Urgent Call for Support for LGBT Refugees 🏳️‍🌈

Dear friends,

I'm reaching out to raise awareness about the dire situation faced by LGBT refugees in Gorom Refugee Settlement (South Sudan) and Kakuma Refugee Camp (Kenya). These individuals are experiencing unthinkable hardships, including attacks, assaults, threats, and discrimination based on their sexual orientation.

Children are being denied access to education simply because their parents are homosexuals. Job opportunities are being withheld, leaving LGBT refugees without means to support themselves. This discrimination not only robs them of their basic rights but also deprives them of essential resources.

Many LGBT refugees lack access to necessities such as proper nutrition, medical care, and education. Women with babies struggle to afford milk, and HIV-positive individuals cannot access the diet they need to stay healthy.

We urgently need your support to create a safe and inclusive environment for LGBT refugees. Every voice matters in this fight for equality and human rights.

It's officially June! Happy Pride Month you lovely lovely people.

This means that Idling in the Impala’s 2025 Priding in the Impala Fundraiser is only here for one more month!

Visit the merch store and pick up anything with the “Ride with Pride” artwork (designed by the immensely talented @quickreaver)!

Net revenue will be split between the LGBTQIA+ non-profit organization @thetrevorproject and expenses that keep Idling in the Impala running (things like domain hosting, Zoom, Canva, etc.)
