I find it low-key funny that we get individual episodes that explore Joe and Sam’s ethnic, cultural, and familial heritage, and then Fred is just over there. With his hecking. Baseball cap.
#he truely is The white boy of the group#and yes Sam is white too#but Fred is White#while Sam is polish-American (right? it was Poland?)#if they did a second season they might’ve gone into his background#but if I rebooted it I might like to explore the dynamic of white cultural disconnection for Fred#because sam and Joe know where they’re from. their families held onto that stuff#but Fred doesn’t have that ep. maybe there’s a class project and he sees Sam and Joe having a great time w their family trees and cultures#and he wants to understand that better. or feels miffed that his ancestors gave up their culture in coming to America#freida’s there too but da da da. plot#and the Freds get to meet and witness their ancestors both in their home country#and the struggles of immigrating. of the difficult choice between assimilation and maintaining a unique cultural ID#and then F and F understand that and the gang also witnesses the blends of culture within the US#so like. Italian-American cuisine. the Jewish-American influence and comic creation#something else I don’t know a lot of stand-out mixed American-immigrant cultural points#but the point is. the Freds come to identify more with their background and feel better about it#(I want slightly heavier subject matter see? them understanding the difficult pull immigrants had to deal with back in the day and still do#and them not resenting those who came over for not carrying on the culture)#anyway.#my post#time warp trio#twt

Genocide experts warn that India is about to genocide the Shompen people
Who are the Shompen?
The Shompen are an indigenous culture that lives in the Great Nicobar Island, which is nowadays owned by India. The Shompen and their ancestors are believed to have been living in this island for around 10,000 years. Like other tribes in the nearby islands, the Shompen are isolated from the rest of the world, as they chose to be left alone, with the exception of a few members who occasionally take part in exchanges with foreigners and go on quarantine before returning to their tribe. There are between 100 and 400 Shompen people, who are hunter-gatherers and nomadic agricultors and rely on their island's rainforest for survival.
Why is there risk of genocide?
India has announced a huge construction mega-project that will completely change the Great Nicobar Island to turn it into "the Hong Kong of India".
Nowadays, the island has 8,500 inhabitants, and over 95% of its surface is made up of national parks, protected forests and tribal reserve areas. Much of the island is covered by the Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve, described by UNESCO as covering “unique and threatened tropical evergreen forest ecosystems. It is home to very rich ecosystems, including 650 species of angiosperms, ferns, gymnosperms, and bryophytes, among others. In terms of fauna, there are over 1800 species, some of which are endemic to this area. It has one of the best-preserved tropical rain forests in the world.”
The Indian project aims to destroy this natural environment to create an international shipping terminal with the capacity to handle 14.2 million TEUs (unit of cargo capacity), an international airport that will handle a peak hour traffic of 4,000 passengers and that will be used as a joint civilian-military airport under the control of the Indian Navy, a gas and solar power plant, a military base, an industrial park, and townships aimed at bringing in tourism, including commercial, industrial and residential zones as well as other tourism-related activities.
This project means the destruction of the island's pristine rainforests, as it involves cutting down over 852,000 trees and endangers the local fauna such as leatherback turtles, saltwater crocodiles, Nicobar crab-eating macaque and migratory birds. The erosion resulting from deforestation will be huge in this highly-seismic area. Experts also warn about the effects that this project will have on local flora and fauna as a result of pollution from the terminal project, coastal surface runoff, ballasts from ships, physical collisions with ships, coastal construction, oil spills, etc.
The indigenous people are not only affected because their environment and food source will be destroyed. On top of this, the demographic change will be a catastrophe for them. After the creation of this project, the Great Nicobar Island -which now has 8,500 inhabitants- will receive a population of 650,000 settlers. Remember that the Shompen and Nicobarese people who live on this island are isolated, which means they do not have an immune system that can resist outsider illnesses. Academics believe they could die of disease if they come in contact with outsiders (think of the arrival of Europeans to the Americas after Christopher Columbus and the way that common European illnesses were lethal for indigenous Americans with no immunization against them).
And on top of all of this, the project might destroy the environment and the indigenous people just to turn out to be useless and sooner or later be abandoned. The naturalist Uday Mondal explains that “after all the destruction, the financial viability of the project remains questionable as all the construction material will have to be shipped to this remote island and it will have to compete with already well-established ports.” However, this project is important to India because they want to use the island as a military and commercial post to stop China's expansion in the region, since the Nicobar islands are located on one of the world's busiest sea routes.
Last year, 70 former government officials and ambassadors wrote to the Indian president saying the project would “virtually destroy the unique ecology of this island and the habitat of vulnerable tribal groups”. India's response has been to say that the indigenous tribes will be relocated "if needed", but that doesn't solve the problem. As a spokesperson for human rights group Survival International said: “The Shompen are nomadic and have clearly defined territories. Four of their semi-permanent settlements are set to be directly devastated by the project, along with their southern hunting and foraging territories. The Shompen will undoubtedly try to move away from the area destroyed, but there will be little space for them to go. To avoid a genocide, this deadly mega-project must be scrapped.”
On 7 February 2024, 39 scholars from 13 countries published an open letter to the Indian president warning that “If the project goes ahead, even in a limited form, we believe it will be a death sentence for the Shompen, tantamount to the international crime of genocide.”
How to help
The NGO Survival International has launched this campaign:
From this site, you just need to add your name and email and you will send an email to India's Tribal Affairs Minister and to the companies currently vying to build the first stage of the project.
Share it with your friends and acquittances and on social media.

The Weaver
Ancient of Space, Weaver of Creation
I had this idea after literally going through her past posts (I literally went on a binge and read her entire masterlist) and just absolutely falling in love with her work @that-weird-thing-in-the-woods
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾

Danny's home dimension is destroyed after the GIW decides to try and bomb the Infinite Realms while he is in the Far Frozen for medical help, along with Tucker. They were the only ones to survive the destruction of their planet. Sam didn't survive; She was out of town that day and couldn't go with them. (so no one was there to stop them from doing something stupid), the bombing failed horribly because the Realms sort of just threw it back at them.
The Infinite Realms place is sentient in a way and has its own will. It allowed the portal that initially killed Danny to be created just so she could have her adopted son.
Danny is the Realms Chosen and is practically her baby. There is a noticible difference in the Realms when Danny returns to it from vacation like everything changes.
So basically, Danny has become the Ancient of Space, Weaver of Creation, the Child of the Realms, Father of Stars and Moon, Keeper of the World Tree, Keeper of the Balance, Protector of the Forgotten, Son of Time, The Great One, etc.
He went through a very long period of depression as everything he knew was gone with only a handful still surviving as most didn't. The Ancients or more specifically CW decides enough is enough and he needs to get stuff done
Clockwork has taken over his education along with Frostbite and Pandora and was literally forced feed a shit ton of information about ghost culture, healing, understanding his powers, etiquette, etc.
Time and Space are very closely related but what people don't often remember that this also allows for creation. This is an aspect that Danny never thought would affect him much less become his main job.
Danny's existence is paradoxical in a way that still gets him confused as he is a constant where he existed as the Ancient of Space up until the point of his birth and when he had his accident and became a halfa once again he becomes a baby ghost with CW holding the reigns until he ascends as the Ancient Of Space Weaver of Creation.
Danny spends years creating new universes and creating galaxies upon galaxies, indulging in his obsession and occasionally going on vacations to explore the universes that he establishes -he's never traveled to the DC universe before, or he had a long time ago, like maybe during the Victorian era.
Danny weaves the future, past, and present of the many lives that will be, have been, and are. The Weaving of Creation takes up most of his time; he loves watching his creations blossom. He weaves the tapestry of creation which is later transcribed/ copied and bounded into a giant book that has the story of the entire multiverse in it. Danny as The Weaver his act of creation is reflected in the tree's branches and roots, representing the diverse realms and levels of existence. I want this to suggest that the universe is not just a collection of separate entities but a cohesive system with the Infinite Realms as the glue that holds the Multiverse together, and Danny acts as the orchestrator and the World Tree as his framework.
Taking care of the World Tree is also one of his duties it is the centrepiece of his haunts as his powers as the Weavers of Creation. It's the representation of his domain. His haunt is a mixture of a space-themed observatory with a library with the universes and galaxies used as the ceiling with the World Tree In the middle with marble/glass-looking floors that reflected the ceilings. His haunt is also a bitingly cold like that of space with fog always crawling and curling around furniture. This is also due to his ice core which plays an important role in how his haunt turned out it is also influenced by his teachers so like a Greek-inspired architecture with subtle frost patterns etc.
The creation of many of these universes and dimensions results in him gaining collections of books and other items that take up space in his library and occasionally the hallways or other rooms of his haunt as decorations
Dan, now Serelio after being reborn and reformed—alongside Ellie, now Eos—goes by Klarion as a pseudonym when he terrorizes the JL and YJ in the DC universe.
Serelio and Eos had been de-aged and incubated by Danny due to them destabilizing as. Dan was put into the body of a clone that survived, and he and Ellie are now twins and have ascended as ancients.
Tim was on a mission to find Bruce who was being dragged through time and ended up finding a lead to Batman's location or how to get him out of the Time Stream in one of the League of Assassins' bases, which he later destroyed after grabbing everything that wasn't nailed down and he could carry.
While on his way to Greece for a new clue, he struggles with his journey after losing his spleen and having to be extra careful with preventing illnesses, with Ra Al Ghul hot on his tail. He somehow finds a pool of Lazarus Water where he promptly gets corned and somehow falls towards it.
Tim is transported to a beautiful, ethereal place that looks like the galaxy had a baby with an observatory and a library and he wonders around until he comes across an ethereal being that is weaving a tapestry while leaning against a gigantic tree with a fur coat dropped over them with ice crystals within their halo head piece.
He tries to be sneaky and find a way out, but he ends up arriving back at the same piece. Danny knows he's there but chooses to keep a mindful eye on him, but otherwise leaves him be and doesn't prevent him from leaving this place, but it seems like CW has other plans.
Tim concludes that he needs to talk to this person who he could get help as he takes stock of his environment. or possibly broker a deal to get help with getting B out of the Time Stream. As he took a deep breath and stepped forward piercing blue eyes looked with star-speckled irises and his breath caught.
The soft ding of a grandfather clock could be heard resounding in the air as it seemed to reach the final second. As Clockwork gazed at the timeline, a soft hum left his lips: " All is as it should be."
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊
I think I went a bit overboard, and I'm not sure if I made it coherent enough, but basically, Tim stumbles- but not really, as CW is basically meddling- upon Weaver of Creation Danny and strikes a deal to have him help with Bruce's predicament after CW time out and convinces Danny that this is one of the better solutions that doesn't end in the destruction of that universe.
Weaver of Creation, Danny is basically creating dimensions and other universes and just leaves them to grow and develop on their own, and records their history and checks on their development, giving a little nudge if it seems like they will do something to end up killing themselves off before their time.
ClockWork and Danny can use some aspects of each other's powers, as Time and Space are needed to balance each other out.
IDK what else to write, I'll probably edit it a bit later on. This was inspired by the lovely @that-weird-thing-in-the-woods blog after reading Frostbite's Child, Ancient of Space, Void & Prism.

IN WHICH falling in love with Yeon Sieun was imminent for you. Imminent in the same way as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

I. Peach eyes and blue skies
Love is imminent.
Love is just imminent, you're bound to fall in love with someone sooner or later. Doesn't matter if it's today, tomorrow or the next day or the next next day— you're bound to fall in love with someone.
It is imminent in the same way as natural phenomena, just like how the winter is followed by spring, how the moon influences the tides and how every bud is meant to blossom into a beautiful flower.
It can happen in many ways. It might just be someone you've known for a long time and in a moment everything just shifts, you see them in a different light, in a way so different that it makes your heart pound so hard that it feels as if it is going to burst out of your ribcage and jump into their hands.
It can happen in a way that when you first lay your eyes on them you just know; that this is going to the person my world will revolve around, that this is going to be the person my heart beats for, that this is going to be the person that will plague my every waking thought & appear in my dreams, that this is going to be the person i love for the rest of my life.
It really does happen like that sometimes, that you know the person you just laid your eyes on will be the object of your affection for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future.
When you first laid your eyes on Yeon Sieun, you just knew.
It is a truth, like the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, that earth is the third planet from the sun and that universe is forever expanding till it ends.
It is the truth.
You are in love.
Your heart will chase him like the sun chases the moon or the moon chases the sun across the canvas of the beautiful sky over us all.
Your heart will chase him and beat for him.
Your heart will beat in such rhythms that will be impossible for you to ignore the loud vibrations that will soon drip into your compositions and creations.
The truth is; you are in love with the peach eyed boy.
II.
I'll be with you on your ride
The first time you meet Yeon Sieun, it is at the cultural centre Juntae and his friends are volunteering. You—Juntae’s sibling— were tasked by your mom to keep an eye on Juntae and see if his friends were any trouble.
The school had called after all, saying how Juntae had gotten into a fight near the school and the guys he had fought had not shown up at the school the next day. Which was funny because Juntae never fights.
Regardless.
The day you met him, you still remember so clearly because how could you forget?
The wind was a little chilly, the kind of chilly you enjoy when you are enveloped by the warmth of your favourite sweater. The kind of chilly, when the wind blows onto your face you feel like a weak leaf falling off the tree and dancing in the wind to the tune of nature.
The sky was blue, no clouds, just a calming presence on top of your heads as you went about your day. But, now that you look back, you think it was the same shade of blue that your wallpaper was in your childhood bedroom.
When you first walked into the room where Juntae and Sieun were, you were un-suspecting. You had walked towards Juntae, not minding his friend, after all you had no actual business with him. But when you had called out for your brother, he had turned too, and when you met his eyes the time had slowed down, sluggish in its movements around you and Sieun, time had slowed down. It was like being suspended in honey, sweet and sticky, slowly dripping down.
Sieun had looked like he had picked the most beautiful constellations in the entirety of the night sky, collected them by hand and put them in a bucket and later poured down the contents of the bucket in the pools of his eyes. The creases of his eyelids were beautiful too, though they were a little assymetrical.
For a second, you wonder if the boy in front of you feels the same thing you are feeling, did time stop for him too?
But does it matter if he feels the same?
You feel it. It is real for you. It is as real as the warmth of the sun you crave when the weather’s too cool, and it is as real as the tender flesh of the tangerines your mom peeled for you the day before.
It is real and it is love.
Love at first sight.
III.
It's on the moonlight
Artists are, well, strange creatures with the ability to make you feel things you've never experienced before, or have experienced before but are too scared to relive those moments or experiences you will never experience. But the bottom line is, artists are strange creatures of experience.
Experience is like drops of lemon juice on savoury food, something that's not a necessary ingredient to cook the food but something that enhances the experience of enjoying it.
That is what your teacher says. She says that you can always write and compose about things you might have not gone through, they might be beautiful, but the true glimmer always shines when you create a piece about something you've experienced deeply.
And now that you're finally in love, no matter what you play, there are hints of yearning.
When you play the violin, love loosens out and flows like drops of sap on a tree, it sticks onto the haunting and eerie crescendo and then with painfully slow movement, it's present in the drop that comes with the aching decrescendo.
When you play the piano, love blooms like the brightest flower that always catches your attention when you walk by its bush, it attaches itself onto the notes and glides through the air.
When you play the guitar, love coos like a cuckoo bird, the sound that you always hear when you need to, the sound that always catches your attention no matter what you're doing.
Your teacher catches onto it, she tells you to hold onto it, drown in the feeling so it sinks into your very being, so that it can be embossed into your creations.
To you, the love you've just started to feel is like a gentle caress of a mother on the face of her child after the child has fallen asleep.
It is the same faint touch of your birth mother you remember, the gentle yet warm parting hug.
It is also similar to the the firm touch of your father, not to hard, not to soft that one can mistake for a ghostly whisper.
It is also like the kiss your Mom—Ms. Seo— presses on to the top of your head, something that is meant to be felt, something that is proclaimed.
(There is a distinction between Mother and Mom.
Mother is the one who gave birth to you. Mother is the one who was with you for the first three years of your life.
Mom is Ms. Seo, the one who gave birth to Juntae. Mom is the one who was with you after the the first three years of your life.)
You somehow became a friend of Juntae’s friends, you don't go to the same school but they always invite you to hangout. That is how you ended up here; sitting in the basketball court, chatting with the guys about everything and nothing.
The amber lights shine down harshly on all of you, a colour that can be only found in Vivaldian music and for a moment you are taken aback when Sieun cracks a small smile at the antics of Juntae’s—now your—friends.
And it's the moment you saw him for the first time again, the time stopped like you were just mere beetles trapped in amber forever, you wish you were insects in amber and the time stopped on this moment forever.
That night you thought of his smile, beautiful smile, and thought:
Love is like the gentle moonlight.
IV.
How many songs I write
Your birth mother was a pianist, a talented one at that. People did know of her. One of your earliest memories is of her playing a melody on the keys of the piano, the same tune that she always sang for you to put you to sleep. A tender composition she created just for you, however, no matter how much you try to recreate it with your own hands, you simply cannot. She did not leave behind the manuscript for that specific song.
Mother had a knack for all things musical. The melody she had created just for you was very raw, it's still clear in your memory, raw like the tender flesh of a bruised heart. And the melody was light and gentle, like the sunlight that seeps into your skin during winter, light and warm enough to comfort you when the snow melts slowly. And you still remember the sickly sweetness of the melody, quite like a jar of freshly harvested honey, yellowish colour with tinges of orange like the setting sun.
Despite remembering it oh so clearly, you could never recreate it. It is there but also not.
But such is the pain of a musician, no matter how hard you try, you never capture the true essence of the actual piece in front of you, the river of time flows and smudges the colours of the intricate painting leaving you with only a faint membrane of what used to be.
Maybe that's why you chose to drown yourself in the same liquor as your Mother; music.
Maybe it was in your warm blood, the urge to just create something, to create art. Art is eternal, a river that passes yet remains, unlike your Mother. Art could never die and leave you.
Maybe it was to connect to your Mother. The child's instinct is always to look for the mother, after all. Maybe that's why you try to drown yourself in this cool river, maybe a ghost will pull you down to the depths of your mind and maybe then you will be able to finally recreate the lullaby your Mother sang you to sleep and played for you on the piano.
Deep within your mind, you are still looking for your Mother.
Looking back, you remember only three memories of your Mother.
First, where she tucks you to bed and kisses your nose and continues to hum the same lullaby. She never wrote it down on any sheets because she thought she would always be there to sing it for you.
Second, where she feeds you peaches with the softest of flesh, you can still taste them in your mouth and the way they melted and the way they had hints of sourness.
Third, where she hugs you for the last time. Her hair tickles your face as she pulls you in, she pats your back and you see her smile. And it is warm. Like the melody she always played for you.
You sigh as you fill in the notehead in front of you, scratching your pen until it's completely filled the same way your heart is filled yearning for the peach-eyed boy.
“You okay? You've been sighing a lot.” Your seat partner asks you.
“Mhm. Just thinking about him.” You answer slowly, your words roll out in a dreamy drawl, like your attention is elsewhere in the prettiest gardens of paradise.
“Him who?”
“My muse.” You say, with your eyes still focused on the sheet on your desk. The eyebrows of your partner quirk up, this is some new gossip topic. “His name has three syllables. You know what else has three syllables? ‘I love you.’”
Your seat partner looks at you strangely.
You seem to have forgotten that most Korean names are composed of three syllables. But it's still the most poetic thing to you.
You pay your seatmate no mind as you continue to fill in the staves with the dripping emotions that have latched onto your mind. Your hand reaches up to touch your sternum through your uniform to feel the quickening rhythm of your tender heart.
V.
You'll be my sunlight
“So, are you going to tell him?” Juntae says with a soft voice, like he's treading into a territory he's not meant to, he slowly crunches leaves that have fallen down.
The weather has gone chillier, in a way that makes wisps of fog appear when you speak.
“Tell who what?” You say dumbly. You do have inkling of what your dear brother means but you're not ready to accept that he took notice of what he might say next.
“Sieun. About your feelings.” Of course he knows. This sneaky bastard. When you turn to face him finally, there's a slight smirk on his face. Was your crush so obvious?
“I don't know, man.” You sigh. You've never imagined taking your crush to that level and confessing, you cannot imagine Sieun being your boyfriend, he's better off as a muse. You kick a pebble away.
He's a sweet boy though, Yeon Sieun, he always listens to you ramble when others lose focus because of their lack of musical knowledge.
He also listens to the songs you recommend, he likes them sometimes, sometimes they're not his taste. But at least he's honest enough to accept when he likes something and when he doesn't.
He doesn't talk much, but when he speaks, he says what he means and what he wants to. This is something you admire about him.
“Mhm.” Juntae hums as he sees you get lost in your thoughts again, the smirk doesn't leave his feature though. If you can't tell Sieun about your feelings, he sure can.
𓂃
In the sky, pinks meet the orange, a soft colour is conceived, a colour that looks like peach soda. You're sitting next to Sieun. Juntae, Baku and Gotak are still playing basketball, they seem to have better stamina than Sieun.
You lose your focus, the world blurs a little, you're too deep in your thoughts, riveting in the notes ringing in your head. You've been practicing a lot, recently. Perfecting the composition you came up with, your fingers and shoulder have gone tired with the countless hours you've been pouring into your craft.
There is a certain joy that comes with perfection. When you can move people with the music that you create, you reach a state of euphoria and the hard work you put on yourself finally feels worth it.
As the music in your head slowly dissipates as it comes towards the end, you turn to look at Sieun, who is drinking water. The way his Adam's apple bobs with every gulp has you entranced, but you soon realise that you might be looking like a weirdo so you turn away.
Sieun puts the water bottle away.
Well, it's now or never, right?
With your heart beating like a wild beast that was chained inside a cage of bones, you finally gather courage.
“Sieun-ah.” You start. A crow caws in the distance and the sneakers against the ground screech.
When he turns to look at you, you're taken back to the moment where the yellowish lights of the outside court had you feeling like insects swimming in pools of honey, the moment where you wished time stopped forever because of the twinkle of Sieun’s eyes.
“Has anyone told you before that you have pretty eyes?”
You don't know if it's the sky that is casting down pinkish hues on Sieun or if he's actually blushing.
𓂃
You let out a soft sigh as you sit on the sofa, tired from a long day of practicing violin. You even have dreams of playing the specific composition, the one you've titled ‘Peach eyes’.
Your Mom pulls you close to her into a side hug. She pats you slowly, her touch is gentle and soothing.
“Don’t stress yourself too much. I know you'll do great, my child.” She speaks brightly, her words filled with nothing but love.
“Thank you. I love you.” And with that you sink yourself deeper into her embrace.
VI.
How could I not rely
On you, peach eyes?
The silence is broken by the sound of bow meeting the strings, the first touch is always gentle like a lover's kiss, it always starts slowly and builds momentum. The notes flow endlessly and beautifully into the air, with a certain warmth that comes with love.
At first, it is like rich cashmere being undone, thread by thread, slowly and painfully unravelled, something akin to accepting that you are in love and the fear that comes with it. When you accept you are in love, you're baring your soul. The sound that comes with each friction of bow and violin slowly dissolves the tension built up in the pit of your stomach. The sound is now like a knife cutting through flesh, thorough and sharp and easy. There is a sting in it, the kind felt by snow when the sun shines its rays on it harshly to melt it away, with that the fear in your mind melts away slowly too.
The unraveling is firm yet gentle, the touch is soft like water that envelopes your feet at the beach but it's firm, like the hardened bark of a tree. It feels like a lover undoing your being, slowly exposing your secrets to themselves and loving you despite.
The song builds up, it's now haunting like whispers of the past, something you can see on the back of your eyelids when you close them but something that fades away when you try to reach out for it.
The audience is completely trapped into the hypnotising performance you're putting, they're stuck in a trance like bugs caught up in sticky-trap.
There is pain in longing and you captured it perfectly in your music sheets and you've now turned it into music, the music that reverberates through your upper body, the music you made is being fed on by your heart.
The song is now turning like a tide, at first it was like expensive cloth being unstitched but now, it feels as though the seams are being sewn together again, this time better than they were before. Each note is like a torrent of brushstrokes on a canvas, each stroke building up to a precise picture.
You're pouring out every single emotion you've felt for the peach-eyed boy into this performance. Each note you play feels like a breath that brings you back to life. It now feels like a faint touch of moonlight on skin.
When you finish the melodies still linger in the air, like the whistling wind on a stormy day. The audience is quiet for a short moment, taking in the opus they just experienced but they soon break into applause.
Afterwards, you meet up with your friends after your violin solo ends. Juntae had invited his friends too, and they're all drowning you in praises. You try not to pay attention to the person that your solo was dedicated to, instead you chat with your friends as you lead them back to the hall for the next performance.
You're left alone outside the theatre hall, and you breathe out a sigh of satisfaction. You decide to go back to the artist’s lounge to pack up your things and just as you turn, Sieun appears, holding a bouquet of roses.
“You seem to be avoiding me.” He speaks with a matter-of-fact tone.
You look around and then point at yourself.
“Me? Haha, never.”
Sieun doesn't say anything else, and for a second, silence settles over both of you. You finally look into the eyes you were avoiding the entire evening, and now, you are in a trance. Like a snake being charmed by a snake charmer, you are charmed by the boy in front of you. You look into his eyes and they look soft and filled with stars like always.
Sieun hands you the bouquet, and his fingers brush against yours, you take in the rich peach and white coloured flowers to your view to ignore the loud beating of your heart and the blood rushing to your cheeks.
“The performance was beautiful.” He states.
But you are more beautiful; you want to say.
And a whisper of a smile appears on Sieun’s face.
Maybe, falling in love with you was imminent for Yeon Sieun too.

Tolkien OC Week
A fandom event for OCs and underdeveloped characters in Tolkien's world!
This event celebrates both characters of Tolkien's world and our own characters that need more love, by creating and reblogging all kind of fanworks, like fanfiction, fanart, fanvideos, fancrafts, headcanons, playlists, edits, moodboards etc.
The event is modded by @yellow-faerie and @elamarth-calmagol, and will take place between 25th August - 31st August 2025 for the fourth year running.
NSFW text entries are allowed and we’ll tag them accordingly when we reblog them, but please put them behind a “read more”.
We'll also be tracking the tag #tolkienocweek during this week!
*******************************************
Event schedule for 2025:
1. Family Members (25th August)
Tolkien may have given us all the family trees of the hobbits, but he definitely didn't finish the ones for elves, dwarves, or rangers. Add an original character to a gap in a family tree, such as a missing wife, or create a whole new family member, like a second child for Galadriel and Celeborn.
2. Diversity (26th August)
It isn't the 1940s anymore! Create an OC whose race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, neurotype, or disability differs from what people usually imagine when they picture Middle Earth. For a world to feel real, its people must be diverse!
3. Forgotten Characters (27th August)
With so many versions of his stories, Tolkien dropped a lot of characters along the way. Choose one of these forgotten characters, such as Finwe's daughter Faniel, and share a fanwork about them.
4. Alternate Universes (28th August)
Share an OC from an alternate universe, such as a modern character isakai-d into Middle Earth, a daughter for Feanor, or a post-canonical love interest for someone who died in the original story. Anything goes!
5. Relationships (29th August)
Today, share an original character who is close to a canon character in some way. The relationship does not have to be romantic or sexual. The characters might be friends, colleagues, neighbors, or even arch enemies. What matters for this prompt is exploring the relationships between the original and canon characters.
6. Off the Map (30th August)
Tolkien's maps only stretch do far into the east and south, and his images of Valinor show even less. Today, give us a character who doesn't live within the bounds of the canonical maps. Maybe they live in Harad or Rhun, or the briefly mentioned continent created to the west of sunken Numenor when the world was made round, or even another planet within Arda.
7. Freeform
Every fandom week has to have a free day! Choose a prompt to do a second time, expand on an OC you already shared, or share an OC that doesn't fit any prompt.
*******************************************
Since we want to celebrate creations about neglected characters all year long, the mods will occasionally reblog posts and fancreations about OCs and underdeveloped characters. If you would like to see your post on our blog, you're very welcome to tag #tolkienocweek. Since tumblr's tagging system is often being faulty, don't hesitate to message us, too!
We are looking forward to see and share all the awesome work you come up with!

How About Those Humans?
Humans, also known as human beings or people (Homo sapiens) are a species of primate found around the world. Originally from eastern Africa, the species has spread to every continent due to their remarkable adaptability to a wide variety of climates and habitats.
The primary advantage for humans comes from their complex social groups. These groups are created, and reinforced, primarily through the use of spoken and written word. Humans are the only animal known to use symbols in communication. In every part of their range, H. sapiens will form communities with other individuals- these communities are often but not always based on familial kinship; bonds can also be formed based on age, proximity, and membership to other social organizations like religion or sports. Humans have also been known to form mutualistic relationships with other such as dogs, cats, ungulates, birds, and some snakes and lizards.
People are known as one of the few species to use tools, and they do so in a highly complex manor. By use of tools, humans have been able to modify their surroundings via agriculture, architecture, and clothing; this has allowed them to expand their range well beyond the limits that their thermal tolerance and high water needs would allow. In addition, people have used their ability to manipulate tools to enhance their social relationships through the creation of ritual, music, art, craft, and sport, as well as enhancing the scale and violence of inter-group conflicts.
The appearance of humans can vary widely depending on their genetics, distribution, nutritional status, and socio-cultural group. Unlike other primates, H. sapiens are primarily bipedal, walking on their hind legs and leaving their hands free for manipulating tools. The body hair of humans is quite fine, and the skin underneath can range widely from black to white, largely as an adaptation to UV radiation. However, the hair on the top of the head can be fairly thick, and likewise varies in color and texture; it is common in many social groups to arrange and decorate the hair for aesthetic value or social status. Males and females are fairly similar in physique; males average 171 cm (5 ft 7 in) in height and 77 kg (170 lb) in weight, while females average (5 ft 3 in) and 59 kg (130 lb) respectively. Females also have more pronounced mammary glands than males.
People are omnivorous, capable of consuming many different plants and animals collected by a combination of agriculture and hunting and gathering. Depending on their region, the diet of humans may consist of different combinations of ruminants, pig, horse, dog poultry, fish, insects, milk, eggs, leafy greens, roots, fruits, berries, nuts, honey, and tree bark. Humans have no natural predators, although there are some large carnivores such as polar bears and tigers that may opportunistically hunt them.
Like other primates, humans are capable of breeding through out the year. People may form monogamous or polyandrous pairings based on socio-cultural group and individual selection. Pairings are most often heterosexual, but homosexuality is not uncommon and there is a great variety in both gender and sexual orientation, the display of which is dictated by an individual's socio-cultural group. In many cultures, courtship is initiated by the male; he may attempt to woo the female through gifts and elaborate mating displays of dance and sport. The input of immediate kin and important members of a social group can also have strong influence over the process. Selection of a suitable mate usually takes time, and a pair may court for several years before rejection. Following mating, the female carries her pregnancy for 9 months before giving birth, usually to one baby but in rare cases as many as nine.
Infants are completely dependent on external care; this is usually provided by one or both of the parents, and often extends to the entire familial or social group. Babies are typically weaned around their first birthday, at which time their diet transitions completely to solid foods. From an early age, young are incorporated into the social group via ritual, play, and teaching of skills which may come from elders in the social group or designated individuals. Though biologically H. sapiens may reach maturity as young as 13, young are typically not considered adults in their social group until the age of 18. Lifespan may vary widely based on genetic and nutritional factors, but humans are frequently known to live to be over 100.
Conservation status: Due to their wide range and large population, humans are considered stable. They have not been evaluated by the IUCN.
Happy April Fools everyone!

Living Harmony AU relevant character sheets/info: Harmony aka the "Tree of Harmony" Stygian Shadow Lock Starswirl the Bearded Somnambula is the next pillar up on the list with an updated design, courtesy of my buddy Ori, and a fresh character sheet from me. Her and Mistmane are the two pillars that ended up getting a species swap with their rewritten backstories for this AU. Bat ponies were super underutilized in the MLP G4 show and the idea of Somnambula and her town being mostly made up of Egyptian fruit bat ponies was super fun to think about. Listed below is some character and story context for these sketches provided by my myself and Ori like usual. Hope you enjoy!
Pillar of Aspiration
Bat pony from ancient Neighgypt
Comes from a village made up of mostly bat ponies with some of the other standard pony races sprinkled in and a healthy population of anubis style diamond dogs
Not a princess, but the equivalent of high nobility in her culture. Had cash to burn and was very generous in giving her wealth to the less fortunate in her village be it money, food, clothing etc...
Was also an advisor to the Pharaoh and Prince Hisan
Her village was trapped in a collective dream by a huge mythical Sphinx that hails from the dream realm. It would have turned Somnambula’s ponies into dreamless husks had she not broken free and solved the Sphinx’s riddles, which were the basis of its magic.
Somnambula’s artifact, the Sphinx’s Crescent Moon, is a trinket she stole straight from the Sphinx’s headpiece. Affixing it to her tiara, it allows her free travel between the dreaming and physical realms. Though, spending so much time in the Dream Realm as a mortal pony has its consequences
Gained a weird aura about her after breaking the Sphinx’s spell. A small radius around her is folded into dream space, which makes it difficult to perceive her normally. She’s essentially a friendly cognitohazard. Take a good look, because you won’t be able to recall her face later. Lucid dreamers can see past this effect.
Has a somewhat eerie quality to her that she likes to play up. Dispenses philosophical queries just to mess with ponies such as: “Perhaps I am merely a fruit bat dreaming that she is a pony” or “Perhaps this is a dream, you don’t know!”
Has sharp teeth, but they’re meant for biting into fruits. Sometimes will joke about "gobbling" someone up if they get too close
Sleeps like a regular bat by hanging upside down. The bottom of bat pony hooves can grip many different surfaces for this purpose
Firmly believes in making your dreams into reality
Ancient Equestrians would call upon her name for protection in their dreams
Dream walked so Princess Luna could dream run
Somnambula is Luna's favorite pillar and legend
Is celebrated with a statue of her in the center of the town “Somnambula” in modern Equestria. However it incorrectly depicts her as a pegasus pony instead of a bat pony due to wibbly wobbly history record keeping and/or the strange dream like effect that surrounds her
Somnambula’s Weather Abjuration (The Crystalling Part 2 - 16:26) is a spell named after her, though she herself had no hoof in its creation. It’s very likely that this weather ward was made after the perception of Somnambula shifted into her being a pegasus

19 JANUARY 25
𓂀 PUNARVASU NAKSHATRA EXPLORATION .
🌈 PUNARVASU ELEMENTS .
punarvasu spans 20°00 gemini - 03°20 cancer. its vimshottari ruler is jupiter.
punarvasu's deity is aditi - mother of the adityas, goddess of earth, harvest and fertility. her name means 'boundless' or 'limitless' and she is the embodiment of the infinite and vast cosmos.
punarvasu nakshatra is the 'star of renewal' and has several meanings, some being "good again", "prosperous again", "light again" and "the return of the light".
its symbols are the bow and quiver of arrows and a house.
punarvasu's shakti is vasutva prapana shakti meaning the power to 'gain wealth and substance'.
punarvasu's basis above is air or wind and its basis below is moisture or rain. its desire is 'to produce herbs and trees'.
🌈 PUNARVASU THROUGH MYTH .
mrigashira is the birth of mars and where polarisation, competition and temptation are born. in the bible, we see this with eve biting the apple and adam and eve realising they were naked.
this leads to ardra when adam and eve are finally cast out of the garden of eden and left to their own vices. ardra is the star of effort and represented by a teardrop. outside the garden, they learn of true suffering and man is condemned to pain and to "till the earth" for ever. claire nakti corresponded the tower of babel to ardra, and the creation of the tower of babel is what sets off the events in the punarvasu stage: noah's ark.
god feels like there is too much evil in the world and so he decides to renew the earth and then the earth is just vast seas due to the copious amount of rain and flooding. punarvasu is the star of renewal and aditi is the goddess of primordial vastness. noah and his family were deemed worthy enough to be saved and noah was tasked with building an ark big enough to house one pair of each animal on the earth. another one of punarvasu's symbols is a house.
punarvasu's symbol is the bow and quiver of arrows archers had to release the arrow and go and get it back. noah sent out a dove to see whether the flooding had reduced and it kept coming back until one day, when it returned with an olive branch, signifying new life. punarvasu's basis above is air or wind, which relates to the dove flying to see whether the floods had reduced enough and its basis below is moisture or rain, which relates to the vast floods used to cleanse the world of evil. punarvasu's desire is to produce herbs and trees, which is symbolised by the dove bringing back an olive branch to show the floods were over - later becoming a symbol of peace.
after the whole ordeal, god placed a rainbow in the sky to symbolise peace and as a promise that a flood like that would never happen again.
🌈 PUNARVASU IN POP CULTURE .
mariah carey, punarvasu moon
punarvasu themes are all over mariah's career. @vindelllas noticed that butterflies are linked to punarvasu natives, relating to their transformative nature, and mariah carey's first album that she had creative control over was called "butterfly". this album is also deemed her magnum opus. her album after butterfly is called "rainbow" and mariah also has a song called "through the rain". the theme of renewal and "prosperous again" arises with her 2005 album "the emancipation of mimi", which invited immense success and earned her the moniker "the queen of the comeback".
kali uchis, punarvasu sun
kali uchis is another punarvasu native whose music reflects a lot of punarvasu themes. her song after the storm is highly punarvasu and even reflects the noah's ark floods with the lyrics "cause after the storm's when the flowers bloom". the entire song is punarvasu coded and everyone wanting to understand punarvasu themes should go and listen to it.
she uses a lot of flower imagery in her music and has a song called "i wish you roses" and an entire album called "orquídeas" (orchids in spanish). she also used butterfly imagery on her album cover for "red moon in venus".
penelope cruz, punarvasu moon
penelope cruz starred in the movie volver, meaning "to return" in spanish and is about a dead mother who comes back to life. (ps. i haven't watched this movie yet, but the theme of renewal and returning is very punarvasu).
natasha lyonne, punarvasu moon
natasha stars as nadia in russian doll, a show in which she dies and keeps coming back to life to relive the same day over and over again. this theme of reliving the same day seems to be quite punarvasu, and also extends to the other jupiter nakshatras.
franka potente, purva bhadrapada jupiter atmakaraka (trine nakshatra)
lola, played by franka potente, has to find 100,000 deutsch marks in 20 minutes or her boyfriend will be killed by gangsters. each time she fails, she restarts the day again, playing on the punarvasu theme of repetition and renewal. the movie also discusses the butterfly effect, which is also very punarvasu.
the director of lola rennt has purva bhadrapada saturn as his atmakaraka.
eva green, punarvasu sun
eva green plays miss peregrine in miss peregrine's home for peculiar children. she takes on a motherly role and provides a home for these peculiar children and rewinds time to stop a bomb from destroying the home. all inhabitants are essentially stuck reliving the same day over and over again. punarvasu's symbol is a house and its deity is aditi, the mother goddess.

Thirsting Grail, Outergod of Wants and Wounds
Artsource
Adventure Hooks:
While travelling the party encounters a once famed surgeon who seeks their help in undertaking pilgrimage to the distant shrine of a death god. When pressed on her motivation, she reveals that through some curse or divine act of cruelty, those she operates on can never die, but also cannot heal.
There is a tree that grows in the ruins of the old braon’s castle, said to have sprouted from the chopping block upon which he had his wife’s lovers executed. The tree grows no leaves, only flowers, and it’s said that if you make a tea from its blossoms, you will receive a vision of your one ture love. Beings of woven thorn are said to guard the tree, but there are those who would pay desperately to drink of its boughs.
A once peaceful kingdom dissolves into a generations long civil war, any hope of peace drowned beneath a tide of violence, ruination, and grievance that none can hope to escape.
Among the outergods there are none more eager to engage with mortals than the entity known as Thisting Grail. It is a thing of violence and appetite, and seems all too eager to lend its power to those most likely to misuse it, whether they sought it’s aid in the first place or not.
Scholars and madmen have long debated the Grail’s motivations, what goal or ideology it is trying to achieve with the visions and often horrific miracles it bestows. In truth, Thirsting Grail has no goal beyond the pursuit of violence and longing, it is a means without an end, ready to lend itself to any cause that would make the world a bloodier, hungrier place.
The god is formless, an ocean of boling blood that takes on the shape of whatever “vessel” its followers imagine for it, borrowing their cultural iconography and birthing itself anew each time. There are litanies of these avatars, hundreds more likely forgotten by history; blood saints and baleful red stars and heart hungry blades. Perhaps because of blood’s ubiquity in ritual and occult practice the Grail’s influence can “seep” its way into the worship of other entities, divine or demonic, and it’s not unheard of for otherwise upstanding and dogmatic worshippers of banal gods to accidentally begin practising the grail’s bloody rites.
Sanguimancy and other forms of blood magic are the most obvious of Thirsting Grail’s gifts, but it has other more esoteric offerings: smoke from sacrifices or incense mingled with the formless god’s essence can grant visions of desires made manifest, though often twisted through a disturbingly carnal (in both senses of the word) lens. All too often worshippers ( and the cult leaders that encourage them) see these visions as prophetic, leading to the outergod being sometimes called “the mother of truth”. It can also manifest the objects of desire: succulent fruits, unearthly lovers, weapons of inordinate power, but there is something fundamentally wrong with these creations as they cannot grant true satisfaction, and often leave those that partake of them wanting more than when they started.
Those who fall prey to Thirsting Grail’s influence can become warped as their own veins become polluted by the entity’s ichor: becoming feral creatures of endless cruelty and appetite, or having their wounds open wider and wider until there is nothing but wound remaining of their swollen flesh. Those so overtaken grow and warp and merge with others until new horrors are birthed from them, a permanent seedbed of
Titles: Mother of truth, formless mother, font erubescent, the bloodstar. Symbols: A red grail or fountain, cultural iconography stained with blood. Signs: Wounds that bleed but do not heal, plants overflowing or cracking open to expose their innards. Unsettling red dreams. Worshippers: Those with bloodstained hands be they doctors, butchers, or murderers. Vampires, occultists, and other sanguiphiles. Instatiable gourmands and unfulfilled lovers.
Inspiration: I wear my influences on my sleeve with this one. I’ve been turning the Elden Ring mythology over in my mind for some time partially because I think there’s a lot of fun ideas there but also because I felt like (in typical Fromsoft fashion) there wasn’t enough shown to really scratch my itch for discovery.
The formless mother/bloodstar was chiefest among these elements: A killer aesthetic with lore that was a little too thin to use as inspiration. After a while that thinness turned into a feature, the idea of an eldritch entity of pain and violence that conformed to the needs of those who worshipped it, granting power to those who would go out and make the world more violent and painful. I liked the idea that “mother of truth” was a misnomer, and that cultists would ascribe meaning and intent and iconography to a god that didn’t care one way or another.
Another strong influence is the Grail from Cultist Simulator/Book of hours ( SERIOUSLY, play book of hours you fools), an eldritch entity/aspect of reality that presides over hungers and births be they literal or figurative. The Blood + Mother connection was obvious here, but the Grail provided some more texture and esoteric aspects to fill out my version’s storytelling potential.

Wilde Leute (Wild People)
From the early Middle Ages to the beginning of the modern era, wild people were anthropomorphic beings in the popular beliefs of the Germanic and Slavic language areas.
Wild men were described or depicted as solitary, immensely strong, hairy, naked, or clad only in moss or leaves. Their way of life was considered semi-animalistic and primitive on the one hand, but also paradisiacal and close to nature on the other. Their preferred habitat was thought to be uninhabited or uninhabitable forests and mountains.

Wild women were also depicted clad in moss or leaves, but had magical properties and were able to communicate with wild animals or bred mythical creatures.

Wild people are human and not transcendent beings. This means that they are not beings from another world, for example the divine world, who can materialize at will in this world and appear and disappear again in different forms. Since wild people are incapable of this, they can also be captured by humans. Although wild people have superhuman abilities, sometimes even something like magical or clairvoyant powers, they are themselves biological beings who are vulnerable and can be shot at and injured. They can have a sex life and a family life. Only in the archaic legends of the Alpine region (primarily Tyrol) do wild people have certain characteristics of spirit beings and nature demons.

Wild People are human, not animal, beings. They have no animal characteristics—apart from their excessive hair growth (hypertrichosis), their great physical strength, and their nakedness, all of which can also occur in normal humans. They have no goat's feet, no tail, and no horns. In depictions and stories, Wild People are almost always barefoot. Wild Men—unlike animals—are often armed with a club or a tree trunk.

Wild people are generally inferior to humans if their great physical strength or magical powers are neutralized. This can be done through sexual seduction, but also through feminine virtue, through alcohol, through magic, through combat with professional military training and weaponry, through long-range weapons, or through other particularly intelligent measures. Afterward, they can be imprisoned and kept in cages like animals, prisoners, or lunatics. However, expectations of uncovering the mystery of their savagery are generally disappointed.

It is no longer possible to reconstruct whether the world-wide conceptions of the Wild Man contain old memories of the times when several species of hominins existed side by side. While it is evident that Homo sapiens and Homo neanderthalensis both lived in Europe for about 10,000 years and produced common offspring, the gap of 20,000 years between the extincion of Neanderthal men and the first known mention of Wild People in the Epic of Gilgamesh makes any link highly unlikely.

There are some clues in the Old Testament that support the explanation that the stories of the Wild People are based on the transition period from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic, when people developed from hunters and gatherers to farmers and herders. The old biblical stories have a certain significance here, as they originate from the region where agriculture was first developed in the Fertile Crescent). Genesis 2:5-33 deals with the dispute between the twin brothers Esau, the older, instinctive, hairy one, the hunter, and Jacob, the younger, self-confident, fine-skinned, urbane, intellectual, and more cultured, the favorite son of their mother Rebekah. The competition between farming and hunting shows the superiority of the new form of society: the hapless hunter Esau has to sell his inheritance to his agricultural and thus economically superior brother Jacob in order to have anything to eat. Jacob, God's chosen one, thus became the progenitor of the twelve tribes of Israel. The hairy Esau, left empty-handed, became the progenitor of a mountain tribe.

In Christianity, wild people stand outside of creation and the divine plan of salvation. They are figures of lower mythology who, in the ecclesiastical understanding, serve to symbolize the virtuous victory over creation and thus over the wild, the base, and the vice-like. In the imagination of medieval people, wild was seen as that which stood outside of human culture, community, custom, and norm. Furthermore, it was considered desolate and undeveloped, confused, and ominous. For this reason, wild people often appeared at carnivals in the late Middle Ages, where they, along with the other fools, represented those distant from God and thus the devil. As these representatives, the Wild Man and the Wild Woman, together with the fool and the devil, can be seen, for example, on a vault console in the Holy Cross Cathedral in Rottweil.

Medieval courtly literature contrasted the knights, who were considered social role models, with various terrifying figures against whom the knights could then demonstrate their ethical and martial superiority. These figures included dragons and giants, as well as Wild Men.

A special form of Wild People are Wild Children. Tales of Wild Children reach back to biblical time (Moses), over the Old Persian Empire (Kyros), the founders of Rome (Romulus and Remus), the Germanic mythology (Dietrich von Bern), to the modern literature with figures like Tarzan and Mowgli. A few cases of children who must have lived in the wilderness for an extended period of time are documented (Victor of Aveyron, Kaspar Hauser), but attempts to integrate them into human society were not very successful, in contrast to the aforementioned legends.

Today, the best known legends of Wild People are Rübezahl in the Giant Mountains in the border region of Poland and the Czech Republic and the Wild Man of the Harz mountains in Northern Germany, where there is even a town named Wildemann. Likewise, a neighborhood of Dresden is named "Wilder Mann". Wild People, mostly Wild Men, are also not uncommon motifs in heraldry. In some places, Wild People are part of folklore parades.

Cloudia Phantomhive's Parents
Melissa Phantomhive
Dob: June 14*, 1801
Dod: Mar 22, 1843** (Aged 41 years)
*This might just be a nod to the episode's airdate?
**I originally thought this was 1842 but I think it's 1843
Melissa is a Greek name meaning 'honeybee'.
According to Greek mythology, perhaps reflecting Minoan culture, making her the daughter of a Cretan king Melisseus. Melissa was a nymph who discovered and taught the use of honey and from whom bees were believed to have received their name. She was one of the nymph nurses of Zeus, sister to Amaltheia, but rather than feeding the baby milk, Melissa, appropriately for her name, fed him honey. Or, alternatively, the bees brought honey straight to his mouth. Because of her, Melissa became the name of all the nymphs who cared for the patriarch god as a baby.
Not sure why her (presumably) maiden name is listed as 'Phantomhive' on this family tree - possibly she was a cousin of Joseph Phantomhive.
Cloudia would have been 12 years old when Melissa died - specifically, she would have been 13 days shy of turning 13 when she became an orphan.
Joseph Phantomhive
Dob: November 29, 1787
Dod: January 8, 1838 (Aged 50 years)
Joseph comes from the Hebrew name Yosef, meaning 'God will add'.
In the New Testament the most notable two are Joseph, the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus; and Joseph of Arimathea, a secret disciple of Jesus who supplied the tomb in which Jesus was buried.
There are legends that Joseph of Arimathea was a keeper of the Holy Grail, and an ancestor of King Arthur. One legend tells of his arrival in Britain as the creation of the Glastonbury Thorn, a variety of Hawthorn that flowers twice a year (in May and December) as opposed to once, and the original tree (destroyed in the 17th century) is often referred to as the 'Holy Thorn';
According to one of England's best-known legends, when Joseph and his followers arrived, weary, on Wearyall Hill outside Glastonbury, he set his walking staff on the ground and it miraculously took root and blossomed as the "Glastonbury Thorn".
Cloudia would have been 7 years old when her father died. He would have been Queen Victoria's watchdog for just 7 months after her coronation in June of 1837.

Cybertron Cybersphere
You know, we don't know much about the era of Cybertron when the tribes ruled, as well as about the worldbilding back then. We know about this period very vaguely, foggily, it seems like some bots should have been around during those times, but they don't really talk about them (we only have five really old mechs: Nova Prime, Cyclonus, Jhiaxus, Galvatron, and Dai Atlas ), not to mention the Thirteen, damn it, guys pulled Cybertron out of barbarian times, maybe you could throw in some info about what was before you? It's just that this time can't be nothing and emptiness, you know? Alpha Trion, am I looking at you? You were supposed to keep history like no? Okay, tribes, okay, but what about the world outside of this? A small conclusion I can make is that Cybertron was a pretty deserted place back then, but not devoid of life. I like to speculate a lot and although the organic approach doesn't really fit with metallic life forms, why not speculate a little on the topic.
Sometimes I think that in reality, before the industrialization we see in the comics and the unification of tribes in the past, Cybertron had a very unique biosphere (cybersphere? mechasphere? I don't know). My idea is based on such small things as the existence of acid rain, dust storms, "sorrow flowers". (I wanted to include crystals and Praxus gardens, but I couldn't find canon information about it).
Just imagine what kind of crystalline or metallic "plant" structures this world could have. It could be something familiar to us, like flowers and trees, or something completely unusual for people. Flowers made of crystals or metals useful for the developing culture of Cybertron. We know that there are flowers of sorrow that form from the remains of Cybertronian sparks, but imagine more complex cyber vegetation. Trees, flowers, bushes, vines, etc. Deserts, steppes… And although trees, for example, do not make much sense within the framework of Cybertron as a source of oxygen, like our Earth, could they have a structure with fruits full of energon? (Why not, that would be interesting). As for the "climate" zones, they generally would not exist, but given that Cybertron is Primus, it should also have zones with uneven heating, for example. Simply put, some zones may be warmer than others, but there are no sharp temperature drops on Cybertron. (I'm not a big fan of thinking that Cybertron is cold, maybe during the war it was like that because Primus almost kicked the bucket there. So probably during the war Cybertron was cold and a bit lifeless. Yes, my whole idea is based on the fact that Primus, a damn living giant and essentially the differences on the surface would be just what is needed to support his creations and himself. You know… As a single well-coordinated organism).
Incidentally, this would explain acid rain and dust storms, which would be the result of the disruption of the cybersphere and growing industrialization.
Because we don't know much about Cybertronian animals, sometimes I guess that Cybertronians were part of this system too (we know that there are turbofox, but if there are them, then we can speculate more about it). Each would occupy its natural "ecological" niche to maintain an equal balance for the work of Cybertron. From seekers in the sky like birds, to motorcycles (in my imagination they would look like cheetahs) or insecticons (in my imagination they are something like orderlies and protectors of the depths of Cybertron). Of course, with the development of Cybertronians, this faded into the background, industrialization absorbed the nature of Cybertron, leaving only a part in the wild areas. This would actually give unique interaction patterns for Cybertronians, between the bots' relationships with different altforms due to their past niche placement (Functionalists can go to hell, because their system is extremely industrial and denied the need for any given frame to exist for the well-being of their world. Thanks, no one likes extinction). It would also give more ideas for behavioral traits and cultures of different frames (thanks to the bird-like Seekers, I love them). I don't really have a precise diagram of what type of bot would do what in the "ecosystem", so I'll leave that up to you! Just remember that they are sentient and not animals, but Primus still needs them all to live a peaceful life.
In general, I have another idea related to this, concerning the Titans. In my opinion, the Titans are something like megafauna? These guys have such a large size and strength due to the fact that Cybertron does not have the same level of gravity as on Earth, they probably do not experience the feeling of being “heavy” (the same with other large bots like shuttles, etc.). Since their function is to preserve, distribute and found colonies, in essence, they would probably prefer “ecologically” clean places for their rest and the formation of settlements. Just imagine how the ancient Cybertronians see how Titan has calmly settled in a good place to rest and are like “Oh, since he settled there, this is a great place for prosperity and the founding of a settlement! Thanks a lot bro, we will take care of your comfortable rest! And the cybersphere will also flourish here. Primus will be happy”

Giaent cat found nice plase for rest
In short, the cycle of life and well-being, where everyone is needed. (I like the idea that everyone is connected to each other, it would solve all the problems with belittling and the system of damn functionalism.)
To hell with Functionalism and their caste system, that stuff doesn't work.

His daughter (sully family x reader) part 2
Y/n’s anxiety was the worse growing up, if she hadn’t done it right or if her father didn’t approve she’d panic. Anything she did was effortless and beautiful but neither of them saw that. If you challenged Y/n, she’d prove you wrong immediately.
For as long as Y/n could remember everybody loved her. She never knew exactly what it was. She just knew that she had something special, something intangible, something immeasurable, and it gave her “confidence”.
However no one knew much she put into getting all her skills in check. There was so much stress in such a young girl to please the people. She saw her father as gold at the top of the mountain and her mother’s proud smile as the sweetest item amongst Eywa creations. She wanted their approval so badly..
*
Y/n had scrapes and mud along side her knees and body, it only got worse as she crawled further up the small trunk of a tree. Here she was moving her fastest as she goes against Neteyam who had been given a simpler task of obstacles. She struggled to breathe through the tight space…panicking at the realization that she wouldn’t succeed
I want it, I wanted it bad
The bloodshed and exhaustion was getting to her
but there were so many red flags
When she crawled right through, Neteyam had already been rewarded, the dirtest part of him being sweat and very little mud. Y/n’s sorrow was written all over her face, that afternoon she walked home covered in mud, drops of blood and sweat..she weeped to the empty forest that night begging Eywa to give her the sweetest reward on her…to save her and have her succeed further than she could imagine..
*
She loved her father and his approval, she wanted it more than anyone else. He knew this, he made her dependent and knew she’d crave it. If Y/n couldn’t stay with him forever, he’d find a way so that she would. Sure, Tuk was younger but Y/n was his real baby, she had almost died on him and he wasn’t going to let her go after that.
When Y/n wasn’t with Jake, she was with Neytiri. She wasn’t only her mother but Y/n’s best friend. Their relationship was so strong. On the days Y/n was exhausted she rested her head right on Neytiri’s lap as she played with her hair, she looked like a cat, calmly sleeping in her mother’s lap. It’d be hard to decide weather she was a daddy’s girl or mamas girl…but you’d have to take into consideration that when she was with Neytiri she at least provided a sense of that peace..mamas girl. It was true, Y/n spoke very highly of her mother constantly even if she had betrayed her…
*
Y/n had been speaking to one of the little girls who was asking to learn about human culture that Jake had taught her growing up..
“…mmh and Mother’s Day is the day people celebrate mommies?..”
“yes sweetheart!”
“What do you think about your mother?”
“My mom is a very important person in my life. And I think she taught me a lot of lessons in life, how to respect the public and the rest of my family. And I think it’s very important to have a mother and I want to be like her.”
Y/n’s voice was clear and you can tell she meant every word. The moment was cut short when an adult asked Y/n to aid them in healing..so she left the child alone with her mother. Neytiri’s eyes watered to her daughter’s sweet answer..
“And you? What about you?”
The young child looked dearly and innocently at Neytiri, filled with excitement to get a deeper connection between the two.
“Growing up I always told y/n to not change her way of being. You know, to all the time be humble and caring how she is with everyone..She’s a very special girl. Same as my other kids, all kids are special of course but..without her, I can’t imagine a life without her…she’s very important, she keeps my family together..”
Everything Neytiri had stated was true, Y/n made sure to develop a close relationship with her siblings. Her parents had been so connected to her and all was well with their family, as long as Y/n was there. As soon as Jake was gone she’d comfort her siblings and give them all her love. That was just the type of person she was.
*
Jake and Neytiri ripped Y/n apart. Their love was toxic to the child..
Jake would practically tell Y/n not to listen to her mother when she instructed her to stay behind during training and Neytiri would have Y/n sit on her lap while she cried, it may have seemed sweet until you realized that she was crying from the stress of canceling on her father and him yelling at her while her mother sat and watched..there’s no denying that she’d loved them until her final breathe.
They isolated her..
*
“Y/n! Y/n! Y/n! What you waiting for?”
“Please come out and play with us!”
“Y/n likes to stay in the house children..she can’t play right now.” (Neytiri)
“Oh..please let her come out and play with us now..”
“She can’t, she has important Navi’s to meet today..” (Jake)
Jake passed a smile at the young children, he heard himself say pure bliss. Y/n was being set up to meet perfect leaders that will help guide her and Neteyam as clan leaders. The child sat in silence with a saddened face, making eye contact with the children right before her father closed the curtain..

When it was time for dinner in the morning, Y/n ate in silence. Her eyes were red from the crying. Jake didn’t even dare to stare longer, knowing that he too was upset..
Tsireya and Ao’nung had interrupted their breakfast to let them know that they’d be ready to teach as soon as they’re ready and to meet them at their Maui. The entire family walked in silence ready to greet the Tonowari, Ronal and their kids.
Ronal was instructing Tsireya on what’d it be best to start with today..however a certain someone in the small crowd of demon bloods caught her attention. All teens were quietly discussing amongst themselves except Y/n…she was dazed and looking right past Ronal, sheeply smiling at the home.
“Y/n!..are you tired today?”
The exhaustion was practically noticeable to the healer who can feel it. Y/n immediately glanced at her father, seeing his smile had dropped and she was now frightened that he’d be upset and start an argument right then and there.
“..no.”
She passed a gentle smile, attempting for it to wash over.
“No..okay you look a little tired.”
“Perhaps, it’s all the traveling..im sorry. I can assure you , your home and island has done me good the last couple of hours..sorry.”
Ronal was satisfied in Y/n’s answer. Soon it was time to begin training and the adults and children went their separate ways.
Ao’nung didn’t know where he’d even begin to start a conversation with her…but he found a way.
“..so not tired?”
Y/n turned and laughed at his awkward attempt, smiling at his efforts, being silently grateful.
“I am, but that’s between us! Your island is very beautiful..”
“Once you get used to it, it’ll be ordinary..normal!”
“Yea..when it’s not an everyday thing, you’ll learn to appreciate it I guess. Sorry, what’s your name? Just asking so I get it right!”
“Ao’nung, and your Y/n correct?”
“Yes Ao’nung. How about we run in the water together!”
The young boy liked the way his name rolled off her tongue, she said it as though she knew him forever. Y/n made their conversation comfortable, and she even offered a good race. The rest of the practice went well and the group got awfully comfortable. Ao’nung and Y/n connected immediately. When Y/n got home that bond seemed to be the hottest topic at the table..
“How was practice today? Everyone did good?”
“Yes sir! Everyone did great, their ways are different but good to learn.”
Neteyam spoke proudly, despite his sadness about leaving his position back at home he felt good to learn new ways of life.
“..mmh im sure of that. Anything else?”
Everyone knew Jake was trying to get Y/n to talk, but her stubbornness wouldn’t allow it. She was furious with him, he had yet to feel bad about anything he said. Lo’ak however thought it’d be best to make his twin sister smile; he just didn’t realize what he was about to say would be the wrong place to bring it up.
“Ao’nung is crushing on Y/n!”
All four siblings turned to the brother, shocked that he’d bring up the topic they thought they had silently agreed not to.
“Hehe..no he’s not.”
Y/n replied with an awkward frustrated laugh and stern voice, telling her brother to be quiet.
“…Ao’nung mmh…you know you can’t y/n-“
“I never said I would.”
Jake’s face was surprised at how quick she was to talk back and he immediately got defensive.
“Well I’m ordering you not to.”
“Im not a soldier, Ao’nung and I are just friends.”
Y/n had left a distaste in Jake’s mouth that made him no longer want to speak. The family tried moving past it while Y/n stayed silent. In the back of Jake’s mind he was panicking, afraid Y/n wouldn’t focus on training and that she’d fall behind and never learn their way. All the issues would fall like dominos…if she fell behind, she wouldn’t learn, if she didn’t learn she would become dependent on Ao’nung, if he wasn’t there she wouldn’t know what to do, if she didn’t know what to do…she wouldn’t survive at all. He didn’t even take into consideration that Ao’nung was the one teaching her the way of water, he just thought of him as some boy..oh how was he so wrong..
