Hello and welcome to the official blog for Supernovae Never Burn Alone, one of many OC projects created by yours truly, @human-souls-buy-dopamine!

This will serve as mainly a place to share the lore a bit more coherently, but asks are always welcome for both the author and characters! Expect to see LOTS of art, writing, and the occasional gl2 project— Maybe even some official music as we get into composing! We kind of rambled a lot here, so to make things easier, information that is Very Super Important™️ is gonna be put into bold, purple text.

For the sake of keeping this shorter on your dash than the colors of the sky (/exag.. a little), the rest of the info is below the cut!

In the world(s) of SNBA, there are two types of beings: mortals and gods, AKA Caeliti, or Caelum in singular. 'Mortal' encompasses any non-Caelum, whether human, demon, angel, or any of the other species created by the Caeliti.

That said, our main cast consists of the Caeliti, two humans, an angel, and a demon! Who knows, though, you might see some side characters pop up...

Anyways, for the sake of keeping this a reasonable length, this post will have the most basic information on the characters. More detailed info will come with lore posts!

FAIR NOTE: The Caeliti are all, with the exception of Luvian (who's a bit over a couple centuries), at least a couple millenia old in terms of how long they've existed. HOWEVER. They do something called 'blurring,' where in order to keep from going kind of insane with the day-to-day of being immortal, years will go by without them being fully conscious for it. This results in each having a different "moral" age than the time they've existed, as only time spent not blurred counts towards their experience. The exact "moral ages" haven't been set in stone for most besides Luvian, who's around 21-22 in that scale. As such, none but Luvian have an official age listed yet.

With that out of the way, here's our main cast:

Kard Freeman, The Youthful Justice — 21, it/its — mortal (magic-wielding human) ;; Kard is kinda like the protagonist of SNBA. It helps the Caeliti to realize that Poine isn't invincible, and to rally together against them and Theron. Aven and Taylor are its unofficial adoptive parents, and it calls them Dad (Taylor) and Pa/Pop/Pops (Aven). It,,, has a LOT of trauma. A lot. It's also quite close with Luvian, who it begins to date, and Aentropus, who it becomes a dynamic duo of sorts with.

Aven Defiocus, The Truth Speaker — 29, he/him & shx/hxr — mortal (fallen angel) ;; Aven was originally part of the order in Heaven known as the Higher Mortals, a group of angels tasked with 'keeping Hell in check'. Shx was meant to see what some commotion had been about, only to find that someone had massacred a town in Hell. After meeting Taylor, he realized that he'd been fed propaganda about Hell and its citizens, and promised them that he'd help them find who massacred the place. Shx was subsequently kicked out of Heaven for voicing hxr realization. Aven also starts to date Taylor later on.

Taylor Flameheart, The Exiled Collective — 29, they/them — mortal (lust demon) ;; Taylor is native to Hell, and like many demons, has been subject to the cruelty of the Higher Mortals. They were banished from their hometown after being framed, and when they returned, found only corpses... and Aven. After he de-escalated the fight and explained that he wasn't the one who'd done it, the duo came to an agreement to work together to find out who had. In their travels, they found Kard, unofficially adopting it. A side note I can't figure out how to fit in, also: Taylor is part of a system.

Sirius Novum, The Burning Star — 28, they/them — mortal (non-magic human) ;; Sirius is quite secretive about their past and current activities. At some point, they met Aven, becoming acquaintances-slash-allies... kind of. There's a big plot point involving them that we'd like to reveal in a lore post, so you'll get that soon. They also 'mentor' Kard for a while, teaching it to fight properly— their methods are. not quite the best.

Aentropus, The Spiraling Chaos — it/its — Caelum ;; Aentropus is the god of chaos/entropy, mischief, and sanity (or lack thereof). It is the first/oldest and most powerful Caelum, however this potential can't quite be reached fully without consequences. It was alone, with nothing and no one, for quite some time before .. time was even a thing. The complete nothingness drove it to the breaking point, and it lost a part of its mind/sanity in a breakdown. Soon after, other Caeliti formed. Due to several events in the past (most not its fault, what is its fault it tries to atone for), Aentropus ... has a hard time liking itself.

Theron, The God Hunter — he/him — Caelum ;; Theron is the god of violence/bloodshed and trauma. He is, to put it lightly, a bitch. When Aentropus was banished to the Light Void to cool down, he overtook Hell, one of its planets. He quickly got bored, and when it returned, was the first to show it kindness, which was probably the most morally correct thing he's ever achieved in his life /hj... Later, he "got curious," and. Murdered and cannibalized Flaerik. He was banished to the Dark Void, but was able to escape via a loophole that hasn't quite been established yet. He's the primary antagonist, and what's essentially a war is started in the attempt to bring him down for good.

Poine, The Silver Justice — they/them — Caelum ;; a bitch, but not in the funny villain way, they're just fucking insufferable. Poine took it upon themself as the deity of justice to be the unofficial-official "leader" of the Caeliti, ramping their efforts up a LOT after Flaerik's death. They could really be overthrown at any time, however they make very good use of manipulation, fear mongering, and. straight up torture. to keep their fellows in check. They cannot even fathom that they could ever be wrong, convinced that their fellows just don't like harsh truths. (No, Poine, your fellows just don't like TORTURE.)

Unipathos, The All Loving — she/her — Caelum ;; Unipathos is the goddess of love and kindness. Although she is the goddess of all love, not just romantic love, her preferred color scheme being pink, red, and white tends to give many mortals the wrong impression. Unipathos is the best at healing out of her fellows, and doesn't mind being the 'designated healer'. Don't underestimate her combat abilities, though— She's just as powerful as many of her fellows. She doesn't tend to be outspoken very often, and as such hasn't given Poine many excuses to torture her. Nevertheless, it's no secret what they do, and she isn't oblivious.

Staegnos, The Still Waters — She/her — Caelum ;; Staegnos is the goddess of water, peace/calmness, and neutrality. She used to be quite vocal against Poine— However, after they caught her in a container while she was shape-shifting and stranded her in an ocean for several months, she began to lean heavily into a stance on neutrality. She opts to "not pick sides" so as to "not stir the waters," in her own words. Her refusal to help when she often can results in most of her fellows disliking her, although this begins to fade as she learns to face her fears.

Vibrum, The Freeing Wind — thxy/thxm & xt/xts — Caelum ;; Vibrum is the god of air/wind, liberation, and freedom. Admittedly, xt doesn't do much for the plot at the moment, but for worldbuilding purposes, xt's needed. Thxy might get some dedicated lore soon, thxy really need it...

Saerol, The Shining Light — he/him & sol/sols — Caelum ;; Saerol is the god of light, the sun, truth, and shares control of perception of reality with Luvian. Just to clear it up from the get-go, he and Luvian are NOT brothers/siblings, despite that being the standard for many sun/moon duos. Their existences are quite intertwined, but they are not siblings. Moving on, Saerol acts as Poine's right hand for quite a while, although not committing nearly as many heinous acts as they have. Sol really just wants the best for sols fellows, and fell for Poine's manipulation that their method was the best— That's not to say he had no responsibility for his actions, though. Later on, when sol becomes disillusioned with them, Saerol ends up having to find a balance between healthy accountability and needless self-loathing. He and Luvian's friendship/connection starts to mend as time goes on.

Luvian, The Enveloping Dark — 22, he/him & lun/luns — Caelum ;; Luvian is the god of darkness, the moon, secrets, and shares control of perception of reality with Saerol. He is the youngest of the gods, both in the time he's existed and the time spent not blurred. Lun is also quite outspoken, which often results in Poine torturing lun. When Nelphite began to start coping healthily, he ended up becoming a parent-figure to Luvian, and now the duo would readily die for eachother if need be. Saerol and Luvian had a good friendship at first, but as things became more strained and sol sided with Poine more often, Luvian quickly grew to resent sol. Lun met Kard before it met its parents, but only briefly— More on that later.

Nelphite, The Great Wealth — he/him — Caelum ;; Nelphite is the god of wealth, politics, and money/currency. Ironically, he detests politics and greedy people, and would much rather not be the god of any of that. Nelphite and Flaerik were married before his death, and Nelphite went on a spiral afterwards. He turned to alcoholism in his grief, ultimately making a failed attempt on his life— After this, most of his fellows and he decided it would be best to wipe his memory of the event for the time being, so that he could try to cope better. However, Poine decided that they knew best, instead erasing ALL of his memories of Flaerik. He regains them at some point during the plot, but for a long time he is unaware. Still, the lack of memories helped in some ways, and he was able to cope healthily, abandoning his drinking problems.

Arturo, The Winged Karma — he/him — Caelum ;; Poine and Arturo are, in a way, two sides of the same coin. Where Poine is justice, Arturo is karma. All the same, their existences are quite intertwined. Poine, in something akin to jealousy, determined that Arturo was a threat to their position— "There could only be one," or something like that. Poine forced Arturo's being into the same shell that theirs was in, keeping him locked away in a place dubbed 'limbo'. This was all done quite fast from the time both started to exist, so nobody really knew Arturo existed, or was quickly gaslit into believing he never did. Poine basically uses Arturo as a punching bag for three millenia, but when Kard begins to overtake Poine as the being of justice, he's able to slip out more, ultimately culminating in Poine's banishment to limbo and Arturo retaking the shell for himself.

Flaerik, The Hopeful Flame — he/him — Caelum ;; Flaerik was the god of hope, passion, and heat/fire. Theron killing him wasn't personal so much as the bastard just saw Flaerik as the most convenient for target practice... Flaerik's ghost stuck around, in and out of being. He knew he had to rest to regain some kind of power, and so was dormant for quite some time. When Kard came around, however, he saw its potential. Watching it some times, resting others, Flaerik ultimately saved up enough power to appear to it for short times in the weeks leading up to the final confrontation with Theron. Over a century of being dead had turned him bitter, however, and Kard was pushed to practically the limit to get stronger. During the final battle, he helped keep it on its feet, and when Kard was having a 1v1 with Theron, Flaerik rallied the souls of other past victims to boost it. Even after the battle, he lingers for a while, not sure if he's ready to let go.

Fun facts and backstory reveals are soon to come, along with profiles! All will be revealed with time.

So, uh, little editor's note here. I WAS gonna explain the plot of the base timeline, but I realized that it would just be a big ramble of information to absorb, which is useful, but! we want people to See the stuff happen! We want it to be more than just words that get translated into art or music or stories or whatever. So. You'll get bits and pieces as we try to explain larger chunks while ALSO making it fun!!

• What is this gonna be? A webcomic? An ask blog? A novel???

▪︎ Well, we're hoping that we'll get plenty of asks eventually, but that'll be a while. As of now, SNBA is more of an open setting than having one canon timeline— Ultimately, we hope to have a 'base' for canon, if you will, that can be flexible and leave room for lots of headcanons, AUs, fanfics, what have you!

• How do I keep up with all the lore posts? What do I need to know now?

▪︎ There'll be several types, across several different formats— To keep things organized, there will be a post linked above the cut that keeps everything nice and tidy! Also, a couple words/alternate meanings to keep in mind:

Caelum = god/deity/goddess.. whatever

Caeliti = multiple of the above ⬆️

Cension = where the Caeliti live

Mortal = anyone that isn't a Caelum, whether theyre human or otherwise

Magic = ...... there's a lot of unused worldbuilding potential here, trust me, we'll work on it. It's honestly a plot device at the moment /hj

Heaven = Not an afterlife. It's a planet created by Aentropus. Angels are a mortal species.

Hell = Again, a planet created by Aentropus. Demons are also a mortal species.

• Is there an expected completion date? What indicates that SNBA is 'complete,' anyway?

▪︎ There's no goal for when SNBA is 'complete'. The closest it will ever come to being 'finished' is having a base/'canon' timeline of events, but keep in mind that canon isn't meant to be restrictive! Since a vast majority of the characters are (semi-)immortal, SNBA never really ends— Not to mention that there will always be alternate timelines, "What if"s, and all sorts of variations to explore.

• What's with the red text??

▪︎ Sometimes, to add a little bit of an ✨️interactive✨️ quality to some posts, we might add in text "written" by a character— It's up to everyone else to figure out who wrote what, but color and shape associations will become clear with time.

Not every AU has a name, but wow, there sure are a lot! Haha.... help. /j

Don't feel pressured to know all of these, really I'm just putting them here so we don't have to explain everything later... I'm not even sure how relevant they'll end up being. You can genuinely just scroll past this, its not gonna affect canon SNBA lore too much.

Better Days Ahead — An AU where Theron conveniently realizes that he's a Horrible Fucking Person due to an event occurring soon after Kard comes to Cension. Does he get redeemed? Maybe! Who knows! He sure thinks he won't!

The Antagonist AUs — A set of AUs answering the question, "What if [X] were the antagonist/villain instead of Theron?". Currently, Villain!Aentropus (AKA Entropy), Villain!Kard (aka Ace Freeman), and Villain!Staegnos (aka Tsunami) have been fleshed out. Also worth noting is that in Ace's AU, Theron is called Tempest. In other antagonist AUs where Theron never was one to begin with, he is known as Octavian.

Ace of Spades — A divergent timeline of the Villain!Kard AU in which Ace, instead of aiming to overtake Tempest in power, just Really Fucking Hates Him, but unfortunately has nowhere else to go! (Or does it?)

All-Consuming Entropy — just a vague idea right now, but essentially, it takes Aentropus' general instability and cranks it up a LOT. and I mean a LOOOT. Like, "now all the Caeliti are trapped within its consciousness and it's essentially the universe itself" a lot.

Eternal Flames (aka the time loop AU) — There are four Caeliti who didn't make the cut to stay in canon, and two of those, Eropa and Primos, find a place in this one! The two Caeliti of time (past and present) fight for control over the future and, in the process, manage to accidentally trap Aentropus and Nelphite into a loop, repeating the days leading up to Flaerik's death over and over again... There may not be time to fix it if Aentropus' sanity depletes before the duo can settle their differences.

Come on, I was just hungry... I wanted to try something new! I mean, sure, it'd suck to lose my husband if I had one, I guess. But really, he can get over it.

It's all a game! They all love it, I know they do. The screaming and yelling and cursing and crying? That's my reward. "You're a monster!" this, "I can't wait to kill you!" that, they're all such good actors.

Isn't that hilarious? So high and mighty, and yet they never can keep their creations from getting involved... Even mine have!

I do not like FFXIV.

This is a pretty iconic old post of mine that I always end up referring to because FFXIV is still a very popular MMO but I need to refer to this post whenever I need to explain why I never got into it.

Welcome to my Blog Recovery Project! Original Post Date: Jul 23rd, 2015

Some recap.

A while back, after a brief break from WoW I logged in to find that my entire set of friends of the guild I was in decided to migrate to FFXIV. This was almost ten people that just gave up WoW. I didn’t join them immediately due to one particularly toxic member of our little clique, I felt like I ‘lost’ them a while back. But a couple weeks ago, the alpha of our group told me that the toxic person finally fucked off. He continued to sell FFXIV to me as a concept and kept saying how great it was, how robust the RP was, how professional the leadership in this one guild was. It was led by two former members of our WoW group, who dropped it due to a baby being born.

I did a First Impressions post of it which might have seemed positive, “It feels like an RPG”. But there’s just so many goddamn mountains to climb to get anything done.

I have about 80 hours played, only 30 minutes of which was spent actually roleplaying. That is an extremely skewed ratio for me. I was promised a brief plotline to get ‘inducted’ into this exclusive guild we’re now in, but it didn’t happen the night I was off. They claimed they would do it the next day. They didn’t. I have not heard a word about it since.

Meanwhile I’m leveling. I made it to 50 (Wherein a literal, single fuck was given by the guy who brought me here to the first place). Now, I came here wanting to unlock the Dark Knight class because their abilities suit my character (Even if their lore doesn’t). At first I was told that the only requirements were beating the Main Scenario Questline and having access to the expansion. Well, I dropped the coin and got to the grind. And then, every subsequent conversation I had about it, a new prerequisite would rear its goddamn head. Apparently I have to do a couple of dungeons and a raid, and chew through a couple of bosses. Well, I haven’t even gotten to those as the MSQ… For some reason… Just kept going. Not a single mention of Ishgard.

So, now dubbing my friend to be a bit useless on this matter, I decided to do some googling myself. I found the quest that ‘unlocks’ the ability to talk to the right NPC - Whom is inside the expansion town itself. So I looked up that quest and kept clicking the “Required quest” button to look down the line to see how far I was. After clicking about forty times I gave up and clicked the actual listing.

Turns out I have to go through four goddamn mini-expansions before I can get to the one I need.

Meanwhile that one toxic person I mentioned before is replaced with another - Someone who uses derogatory slurs and has an inability to learn from social constructs when people say “That is not okay”. So I have to deal with that on top of my usual frustrations with this game.

In comparison… WoW. You see a cool thing? Provided you’re at level cap, you can probably get that cool thing within a couple days. Legendary items are the only thing I can think of that takes literal months to acquire. It took me two months to get Shadowmourne. Might take a couple weeks to get achievement-based mounts, due to some of them being raid-bound. Otherwise. See cool thing? Get cool thing. That PvP-based armor set Kiur has on WoW?

Including the belt and boots that drop from a Wrath raid, all that took a few days to acquire. Could have been less if I PvP’d -constantly-.

FFXIV? See cool thing? Complete the entire game. Then do some paperwork. Then do some running and talking. And teleporting. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. Run. Talk. Teleport. That’s all this content quest-packs are. I’m skipping all the cutscenes now because the part of my brain that gives a shit has ejected itself from my body. I have to play music or podcasts or literally anything else that keeps half my brain distracted in order to play this goddamn game. Oh, and I still haven’t acquired a single thing I’ve wanted.

And the sync system. Fucking christ that ruins the flow of everything. In Guild Wars 2, in lower level zones it just automatically downscales you. You have access to all your level-80-acquired skills but their damage is more based around the area you’re in so you can’t one-shot everything and you can play with your lower level buddies without sacrificing the experience. In FFXIV, I play a Dragoon. It has combo skills and jumpy abilities that do decent damage and has a backjump to escape AoE or whatever. But inevitably, I am forced into a level 18 dungeon that blocks half my bar and I am forced to spam the only two abilities that do anything;

That’s all I ever have access to when I queue. I’m starting to lose my mind a little.

For the record? The time it’s taken to type all this ranting out (And shoddily editing those two images), I’ve had FFXIV on the background with my character parked in a spot because a quest to unlock a raid has a prerequisite of doing two FATEs (Like dynamic events, which a lot of recent MMO’s have these days). But you can’t force them to activate so I’ve been sitting here for fifteen minutes, like a dungeon queue in of itself, waiting for the purple bauble to pop up. When speaking to my guildies about this, they said I had to wait. I simply said “Oh, Glorious” and was met with, by the leader, “Don’t bitch. We all had to go through it.”

…Gaming should not be a fucking chore. This is not a job. This is not school. I shouldn’t have to “pay my dues”. I see cool things and I want them but holy shit god fuck. I saw another cool thing. Something that requires tokens to get. I got a decent chunk from some of the endgame dungeons and the bonuses from players going through it for the first time. After that, the raid gives some more but I constantly have to jump through these hoops before the game lets me do cool shit.

That’s all this game is. A mountain to climb. Except once you get to the top, the game goes “Whatever, here’s another”. And does this three more times before you can get to what you wanted to get to to begin with.

That’s not to say this game doesn’t have it’s virtue. The endgame really felt like an endgame. After fighting an Empire that felt like a bit of weaksauce, the final trio of dungeons really showed me what the Imperials were capable of, especially since they required larger parties to complete, you saw a higher number of enemies and it finally felt like they were a proper army capable of invading the land. And the trials. I like the trials. They’re like, isolated boss fights that take around five minutes to do. They have fun mechanics that force me to actually be awake. Unlike the REST of the game.

But I can be awake for trials. It’s like raiding without taking two hours to do. The game is also very pretty. I enjoyed questing in Coelthas - Ishgard lite. I want to see more of Ishgard if snow is involved. Coelthas questing in my high 30′s to low 40′s was approaching fun once again. I joined a FATE party that got me almost two levels. Just running around in a sort of impromptu raid. Just chatting with all the people, cracking jokes. It was fun. But ultimately… I am exhausted. I am tired. Worst of all, I am bored. There’s so much I want but I don’t think I can stomach wasting any more money on this (It’s not even free to play! Holy shit!) I wanted to roleplay but I’m not finding any. My RP guild doesn’t roleplay. I’m bored. I’m done.

My first Super Mario fankid: Violet "Violetta" Fiorella 💜✨

Surprise! 😄

Even before I lost my old blog, I came up with the idea of my very first Super Mario fankid, and since Luaisy are my favorite couple, of course they had to be the parents! 💚🧡

Since I can't draw, I've used a couple of picrews to create my girl, both as a little child and as a teen, and you'll see that I actually really liked the second picrew as I just couldn't stop creating more and more outfits for her 🤭 (There are actually a couple that I haven't included but I'm always happy to show them if you're interested because she looks so CUTE).

I've been working on this little girl for a couple of months now and I couldn't wait any longer to introduce her to you all at last! Besides, today is the perfect day because it's her birthday, so I hope you're ready to meet Luigi and Daisy's first daughter! 😄💜 (in my lore of course!)

✨💜 Violet "Violetta" Fiorella 💜✨

Violet: age 5 - age 13

Violet Fiorella is Luigi and Daisy's first daughter. She was born at dawn on the first day of autumn, being a late baby, as she was expected five days earlier. She inherits Daisy's facial shape and Luigi's slim, lanky body. Her mouth and nose are like her mother’s, while her eyes and hair, she got them from her father. Her skin is tanned like Daisy's, and her cheeks, rounded like her uncle's, are dotted with freckles.

Her name was chosen not only because of the flower, but also because it alluded to her mom's favorite color, purple. Her dad wanted to add a middle name reminiscent of flowers, but in Italian, his native language, so that his daughter’s European roots would be important in her life from the very beginning.

Early years

Almost from the moment she was born, Violet proved to be a very sweet and giggly child. She’s always smiling and showering everyone with hugs, and as soon as she learns to give kisses, it becomes her favorite way to interact with others. Her father holds her in his arms? Kiss on the cheek. Her mother tucks her in to sleep? Kiss on the forehead when Daisy leans into her. Aunt Peach and Uncle Mario bring her a new toy to add to her collection? She hugs and kisses them as she laughs nonstop, and of course, they melt.

Violet is brave, daring and very curious. She wants to explore the world on her own, no matter how dangerous it can be or how small she still is. Everything catches her attention. Her dad's mustache, which she starts to pull almost every day as soon as she learns to grab things. Her mom's freckles, which she traces so enthusiastically that more than once she’s been about to stick her tiny finger in Daisy's eye. Uncle Mario's hat, which she doesn't hesitate to steal from him every time she’s with him, which gets a few laughs out of Mario, especially when he sees how big the garment is for his niece. Aunt Peach's brooch, so bright and shiny that she can't help but try to take it off. Always so practical, Peach finds the perfect solution: she gives Violet a small pendant with the same type of jewel embedded in it, so that aunt and niece match.

Because of the adventurous spirit that runs through her veins, Violet is not afraid of anything. From the instant she starts crawling, she starts wandering around her home on her own, taking advantage of the slightest occasion when her parents look away from her, even if it's only for a mere second. This makes Luigi and Daisy twice as vigilant, especially when she starts to walk. They’re forced to take certain measures to make their house completely safe for their intrepid little daughter, such as covering all the sockets or putting fences in the most unexpected places.

Violet learns at a very early age that, when she wakes up, it’s better not to cry, but to climb the bars of her crib, so that she can escape to explore on her own without her parents' supervision. Luigi and Daisy, exhausted after watching over her safety and dealing with her inexhaustible energy during the day, receive no warning that their daughter has woken up and thus they must be alert again. Also, because their little girl is so active, Luigi and Daisy often fall fast asleep after putting her to bed and sleep very soundly, so Violet knows that every morning, she has precious time before either parent wakes up and the fun is over.

Fortunately, from the first time this happens, Polterpup is quick to come to the aid of his new little friend. As soon as he notices that Violet has climbed out of her crib, he rushes to her side. Luigi and Daisy usually leave their bedroom door open so that Polterpup can comfortably get in and out during the night instead of walking through the walls, which is why Violet has no trouble reaching the stairs. Polterpup barks at her, worried that she might hurt herself, but since the toddler won’t stop exploring, the dog lunges forward just as she jumps up and the girl falls onto his back with a loud laugh that turns into a squeal of excitement.

Which, at last, causes her parents to wake up, and as they rush out of their room, they find Violet riding on Polterpup and laughing happily while the puppy, barking enthusiastically, carries her back and forth through the house as if they were in the middle of a race. It is here that Luigi and Daisy realize that they must do something if they want to prevent their daughter from getting hurt and their poor ghost dog from having to babysit her.

While Daisy was pregnant, Luigi acquired the habit of reading for some minutes every night before bedtime, not only to her as it’s become their custom since they started dating, but also to their baby. He has vivid memories of his mama reading to him and Mario when they were little, and he wants to keep this beautiful tradition. He used to stand cross-legged next to Daisy, holding a book in his hand while stroking her belly with the other, and Daisy used to fall asleep to the soft cooing of his voice. After Violet was born, Luigi continues to do this, this time carrying his little girl in one arm while Daisy, after breastfeeding her, rests at his side. Both mother and daughter fall peacefully asleep listening to Luigi, giving him a few minutes to enjoy the warm presence of his two flowers without interruption.

Because of this, as she grows older, Violet proves unable to rest without her dad's goodnight story, which fills him with pride and joy. As soon as she learns to grasp things, like a good curious child, Violet begins to take her father's books away from him to glance through them and examine them herself, observing them as closely as if they held all the secrets of the universe. Luigi has to hold back tears of emotion when he realizes that his beloved little daughter will be a bookworm like him.

In Luigi and Daisy's home, music is never absent. It was key during their courtship and continued to be so after they got married, and of course also when they welcomed their first daughter. In fact, soon after returning home from giving birth, Daisy gets into the habit of taking her baby in her arms and gently rocking while sweetly singing and cuddling her, and Violet giggles with delight. Luigi often joins them, sometimes even grabbing his ukulele to improvise some tunes, as he used to do for Daisy.

This way, Violet begins to adore music and dance from a very young age and falls completely in love with her dad's instruments when he uses them for her for the first time, especially his guitar. She grows up surrounded by notes, chords and dances, and learns to keep time almost at the same time as she learns to clap her hands. Music and dance are in her blood, and her parents couldn't be prouder.

Since Violet is named after a flower, Luigi takes her to his garden when she’s only a few months old and begins to show her the plants and flowers and tell her about each one. To no one's surprise, as soon as Violet discovers the beautiful flowers with which she shares a name, she begins to feel a special fondness for them, and as soon as she learns to express herself a little, she asks to always wear something purple in her outfit, preferably with a flower pattern. Luigi teaches her how to braid flower crowns, and him and Violet together, they create a series of different crowns that she then gives to Daisy under Luigi's attentive and moved gaze.

Given that both her father and uncle are of Italian descent, they often speak in their native language to the girl ever since she’s born. Luigi, moreover, often calls her Violetta, the diminutive form of her name in Italian, and she adores it and always showers him with kisses whenever her dad addresses her by that nickname. She also loves that Uncle Mario calls her by her middle name, Fiorella, or that he uses some of the affectionate nicknames he’s given her, such as Fiorellino or Petalo, both words that refer to flowers in Italian. After all, as Mario always tells her, she is his favorite flower of all those that exist in the world.

Daisy, for her part, usually speaks to her little girl in Spanish. Most of the songs she sings to her as a baby while rocking her in her arms are in her native language, many of them written and composed by Luigi, Daisy's favorites. The princess also buys tales in Spanish for her daughter, and joins her husband in reading them to her, with Luigi narrating and Daisy playing the characters, gesturing in an exaggerated manner to make Violet laugh. Besides, Daisy calls her Violeta, the Spanish version of her name, but she does so with a different intonation from Luigi, which makes Violet always able to differentiate the way her name sounds in her parents' respective languages. Daisy often chooses to call her “florecilla” or “mi pequeña flor,” which brings the most radiant smile to the little girl's face, and she doesn’t hesitate to hug her mom and shower her with kisses.

Besides being very active and curious, Violet is also very imaginative. The stories Luigi tells her prompt her to ask him many questions in search of other ways in which this or that story could have ended, and Luigi always encourages her to invent the ending she likes the most. And Violet does: with her eyes sparkling with excitement, she tells him how the evil witch or the ruthless ogre is defeated by a brave warrior in shining armor who defends and protects the princess before anyone can harm her. Many times, she even draws the scenes she invents with her colored pencils. Luigi treasures each of her drawings with all his affection, but Daisy worries that they have almost no room left on the fridge to hang them.

From a very young age, Violet shows a great affinity for sweets that becomes excessive over time. She is often discovered by Daisy or Luigi in the kitchen, climbing on the counter with the help of Polterpup and stealing cookies, and this scene keeps repeating over time even after her parents start to devise new hiding places for the cookie jar. Also, when Luigi and Peach prepare a cake together, they can't leave it unattended for a second, especially if it's chocolate, Violet’s favorite flavor, or else they'll run into the toddler attacking the cake with her tiny fingers and devouring the cake frosting before going for the sponge cake. Just like her mother.

Over the years, her parents try hard to teach her to be patient and wait for the cake or cookies to be served during tea time, and, of course, they set her limits when it comes to sweets. For, on more than one occasion, Violet has been sick to her stomach for having such a sweet tooth and disregarding her parents' advice and warnings.

One thing she’s inherited from Uncle Mario, besides his adventurous spirit, is his stubborn side. Even though Violet is usually a quiet baby, on very rare occasions she throws tantrums that cause her face to turn as red as her uncle's cap and Luigi to seriously fear for the endurance of her lungs. Fortunately, Daisy soon discovers that, as in Mario's case, it is Luigi and Peach who can get little Violet to calm down as quickly as possible.

As she grows up, Violet’s stubbornness continues to show up, although, fortunately, not very often, as the gentleness inherited from her father is stronger.

Family

Luigi and Violet often have fun gardening, singing together around the house and going to the children's section of the library or bookstore. The girl already has her own bookshelf in her room, and Luigi is more than happy to help her expand it so they can read her new addition together. As his daughter slowly grows up, Luigi develops the habit of telling Violet stories at any time beyond bedtime: while feeding her, while dressing her, while bathing her... And Violet is always spellbound listening to him. It is, in fact, thanks to Luigi that Violet develops a love for reading and stories and, indeed, she ends up becoming a bookworm like her father.

Since becoming a father, Luigi has composed numerous songs for his daughter, many of them created half-heartedly with Mario, who also melts with love for his niece. Often, Luigi grabs his guitar and starts singing to Violet, who promptly joins him in clapping her hands and singing the lyrics in unison. This is how many mornings tend to pass in Luigi and Daisy's home, and it isn't long before Violet asks to attend a concert by her dad and uncle. Unfortunately, she’s too young by then (four years old), so she still has to stay at home.

When Violet is one year old, her parents try playing a movie for the first time, and find that the girl seems entertained, but, halfway through the film, Violet suddenly gets up and asks her parents to go out into the garden to run and play a bit. Daisy almost melts when she realizes that her daughter has inherited this from her, as she needs to do exactly the same thing every time she sits down to watch a movie with Luigi. Little Violet's energy is just as inexhaustible as that of her mother.

It's thanks to this that Violet and Daisy start to go out into the garden to run and climb trees together as a way to let out their endless adrenaline. They also have a great time dancing around the house and improvising karaoke sessions that delight Luigi. Daisy encourages her daughter to unleash all her energy and bring out her wild side, no matter what anyone says. Not only does she not scold her for wallowing in the mud after the rain, but she joins her and they end up laughing together in the middle of a mud puddle, with Luigi shaking his head resignedly, but unable to erase the loving smile off his face.

Eventually, moreover, Daisy begins to teach her daughter how to fight, not only as another way to let her adrenaline loose, but also so that she can stand on her own two feet. At the same time, she shows her the different dances typical of the four kingdoms of Sarasaland and encourages her to continue cultivating her mind in the company of her father. Thanks to Daisy, Violet becomes an excellent warrior, as well as an expert in the original dances of the empire over which she will one day rule.

Aunt Peach loves to organize tea parties with her niece, and Violet has a great time playing princesses with her and all her toys. Peach also loves to do her hair and sew her not only clothes, but also stuffed animals, and she often takes her niece shopping. Violet doesn’t have a specific preference for one type of clothing, but likes everything: dresses, skirts, pants, overalls, blouses, shirts... And the same goes for colors, although she has a certain inclination for blue, purple and pastel shades.

So she loves it when Peach surprises her with new dresses or a trendy jeans and blouse outfit, clearly influenced by the culture Mario and Luigi come from. Peach and Daisy often get together for snacks and shopping and take little Violet with her, whether it's to buy her clothes or books, treat her to ice cream or take her to the park to play. And she has a great time going out with her mom and aunt.

Later on, moreover, Peach decides that she should start teaching Violet how to behave in court, because, after all, her niece is the heiress of the Sarasaland empire. Luigi, despite not being an expert in the matter, joins her whenever he can, imitating his friend's gestures to make sure he instills them in his daughter, but Peach is the main one in charge of telling Violet about the best way to run a country and about the importance of diplomacy to establish good relations with other kingdoms.

With Uncle Mario, the girl has even more ways to release all her adrenaline. He always encourages her to play active and fun games that make her run around the house or the garden and laugh out loud, so that when it's time to go to sleep, she usually falls asleep right away, which both Luigi and Daisy appreciate. Mario has a great time playing tag with his niece, playing hide-and-seek, or pretending to be a huge monster that wants to catch her to tickle her. Other times, on the other hand, he happily pretends that she’s a brave and fearless heroine who valiantly faces the monster and takes it down with the same weapon: tickling. Mario himself often sleeps like a baby after spending an afternoon in the company of his niece.

Just as Daisy begins to teach her daughter how to fight, Mario does the same. He teaches her different techniques from Daisy's, so that Violet knows a variety of ways to defend herself if necessary, and he’s also the first one to show her the power-ups. With Luigi's permission, Mario starts with the simplest one: the mushroom, which makes Violet laugh hysterically as she looks much bigger and taller than she is. Later, both brothers show her the Tanooki Leaf, with great enthusiasm from both of them, although Luigi can’t help but feel a bit nervous and even fearful for his daughter’s safety. For the Fire Flower though, they decide to wait until she is older.

Violet loves alone time with each member of her family, especially her father, but she loves it when they all go out together to enjoy a picnic or shopping at the Coconut Mall. This gives her the opportunity to sing and dance with them all, to play her craziest games with Uncle Mario, and to take her favorite plushies for her and Aunt Peach to take care of together.

From a very young age, Violet loves to be dressed like Peach and Daisy, with long and beautiful dresses and wearing on her head her own “little princess” crown, a gift from Aunt Peach for her eighth birthday, when she also gives her this nickname. This is a custom that Violet never loses, as she’s very aware of her role as future heiress of Sarasaland, and wears her dresses and crown with pride, always feeling comfortable in her princess attire.

Even though she has dresses of all colors and for all tastes, her favorites are those in her parents' signature colors, being the ones that remind her of her uncle and aunt the second ones in the list. Of course, Violet loves to give them her own distinct touch with her light blue or lilac stockings, always with floral patterns.

On the other hand, she also loves to wear overalls and pretend to be a great plumber like her dad and uncle, and she continues to wear these garments as she grows up, as she finds them very comfortable and manageable. And both Luigi and Mario are unable to hide their excitement at the sight of their beloved Violet wearing an outfit so similar to their own, even when she’s no longer a child.

Violet loves to combine her parents' colors in her outfit and mix them with the blue of her overalls or the purple and orange of the flower crowns she often wears in her hair and that her mother gladly lends her. Her favorite overalls are dark blue, similar to her father's, although she also has some lilac ones that she adores dearly. She also loves the striped socks that Luigi usually wears, though in Violet's case, she prefers to wear them green, orange or yellow. Sneakers are her favorite footwear, comfortable and perfect for running, dancing or fighting, and she has them in several colors.

Mario and Luigi's family adore little Violet with a passion. Mia and Pio are always over the moon when her parents bring her to Brooklyn, and they often go out together as a family to show her where her dad and uncle grew up. Mia also sews tons of clothes for her granddaughter, often agreeing with Peach to combine their skills and create a lovely outfit for Violet between the two of them. Pio loves to take her out and play with her and is incredibly proud every time he discovers that his granddaughter has inherited some of his traits.

Violet loves devouring the delicious pizzas at Punch-Out Pizzeria and running around Central Park chasing the ducks, especially after hearing the story of the vampire duck that attacked Luigi the first time he and her mom went out together. Also, when Luigi first takes her to his favorite bookstore in Brooklyn, she falls in love with it at first sight.

In the Mushroom Kingdom, as the niece of Princess Peach and her consort husband, Violet is treated with all the comforts and luxuries, as befits a little princess. She’s adored by all the Toads, court, palace guards and ordinary citizens alike, and they keep greeting her and giving her gifts whenever Luigi and Daisy take her for a visit. Mario and Luigi's best friend even proclaimed himself as little princess Violet's new best friend from the day he met her, and she always has lots of fun going on picnics with him or embarking on a new and not at all dangerous adventure together. Like spotting squirrels around Peach's castle or hanging on to the legs of a bramball for at least five seconds without getting a puncture. Besides, Toad tells the best jokes and always knows how to make his little friend laugh.

In Sarasaland, of course, Violet is treated with all the honors that the future empress deserves. King Crisanto is delighted in his role as grandfather, and all of Daisy's other parents also shower her with attention and make sure to remind Daisy of all the fighting techniques she learned with them so that she can pass them on to her daughter when the time comes.

Pre-adolescence

At age thirteen, Violet is a happy child who has a multitude of hobbies and skills and who knows she’s loved and adored in her family. Despite her young age, she’s well aware of her future responsibilities as the ruler of such a large and immense country and has made an effort to learn all about the different cultures native to each kingdom. She’s visited them many times with Daisy and Crisanto, and thanks to Luigi, she’s able to recite the history and customs of each of them without a moment's hesitation. Of course, the values and knowledge that Peach has instilled in her make her a very educated and intelligent little princess.

Violet loves to read. Usually, shortly after returning from school and after spending some time with her parents, she usually locks herself in her room to read and is absorbed by the stories she consumes in exactly the same way as her dad. Even so, the restless and energetic nature she inherited from Daisy requires that, after a couple of hours, she switches from reading to a more lively activity, such as dancing or going out into nature to run with Polterpup and climb trees. Daisy often joins her, and the two feel as connected as they did when Violet was a girl.

Despite this, there are times when their characters clash. Violet is still as sweet as the first day, but when she gets angry she’s more prone to have an argument with her mom, who tends to get angry very easily. That's when Luigi intervenes: alone or with Peach's help, he prepares a delicious cake and leaves it, on purpose, in the middle of the living room, so that both mother and daughter are attracted by such a delicacy and end up attacking it together, with their bare fingers, just like Violet did when she was little. It is during this little moment that they begin to talk and end up making peace, after which Luigi comes out of his hiding place and hugs his beloved flowers tight, satisfied that he achieved his purpose. Fortunately, these discussions don't happen very often, or else not only Violet would get sick, but Daisy as well.

Thanks to Uncle Mario, Violet is quite an expert on all the types of power-ups that exist, and Luigi and Daisy have made sure to extend this knowledge to her as far as Sarasaland is concerned, since, as Mario well made sure to teach her, not all power-ups can be found with the same ease everywhere. Her favorite is, without a doubt, the Tanooki Leaf, as there’s nothing that matches the feeling of flying and freedom that this power-up gives her. However, she also loves how powerful throwing fireballs or ice balls makes her feel and has no qualms about admitting that she loves seeing her dad and uncle transformed into cats. She often giggles hysterically before she starts chasing after them to cuddle with them, something she’s done since she was a little girl.

At last, after much insistence, Violet has obtained parental permission to attend Luigi and Mario's concerts. In the reserved area set aside for their families, Violet stands against the fence, with her arms resting on it, screaming and jumping up and down during the concerts. She considers herself her father and uncle's number one fan, and knows absolutely all their songs by heart, whether they are in English, Spanish or Italian. Violet speaks all three languages fluently and has no preference when it comes to singing or communicating.

Shortly before her twelfth birthday, she began attending royal receptions in the company of her parents. At these times, Luigi encourages her to remember everything that Aunt Peach has taught her, and Violet proves that she’s very good at handling herself in court. Maybe even better than her parents, as she seems to have inherited it naturally from her grandpa In addition, she usually dresses very stylishly, especially thanks to her aunt, who always takes her wishes and opinions into account when it comes to giving her new dresses or sewing them herself. However, as a rule, Violet usually wears leggings under her wide skirts, mostly influenced by her mom, who insists that she should always be prepared for a fight and therefore as comfortable as possible. Peach supports this decision and even starts sewing her own leggings for Violet as well.

Violet is an expert in the specific care that each flower and plant needs to grow. Even though she has many interests, being surrounded by nature is what she’s most passionate about in the world, so she’s decided that while she must become the empress of Sarasaland someday, she wants to have her own corner full of beautiful flowers just for herself. Her grandfather has immediately made sure to set up a beautiful greenhouse on the grounds of Sarasaland Castle and has ordered seeds to be brought in from all over the empire so that his granddaughter will feel right at home every time she comes to visit.

Crisanto never hides how proud he is of his granddaughter and how much he adores her just the way she is. Violet loves spending time with him and listening to him talk about the plants native to the different kingdoms of Sarasaland, and often Luigi and Daisy join them and add a few details. Luigi also brings some seeds from Earth for his daughter, and with Peach's help, they grow them together in the Sarasaland greenhouse.

Mario and Daisy continue to train her daily and give her new challenges and tests, both with and without power-ups, to further reinforce her strength and defense skills. At the same time, Peach and Luigi educate her in manners, culture, history and other important subjects for her education and future.

Thanks to Luigi and Peach, Violet knows how to be the perfect princess.

Even more chaos because my save just gets more abd more chaotic each passing day

Okay, so last blog there may have been a little bit of chaos (A little is an understatement, it was a lot)

To sum this save up so far, I started with six sims, Dumbass, Hot Werewolf Dilf (aka Zaidan), Hot Werewolf Dilf's son (Julien), Vito, Stupid-Ass Vampire Ron and Stupid fucking soellcaster Ezekiel.

Everything was normal (Highlighted word was)

Until, in no particular order...

Vito died from laughter, got revived by Julien (grimmy didn't want no taste of the military personal's fist), before proceeding to die from laughter again a couple of sim eons later.

Stupid-Ass vampire Ron, who drank from Dumbass. Became pissed, then became possessed because Dumbass's plasma is infected by The Mother Plant, who swiftly died a couple of days later after running around the sunny streets possessed.

Ezekiel, who just decided "Fuck this shit, I'm out" and proceeded to fly away from home on a broom and starve to death yeah I honestly don't fucking know either

Hot Werewolf Dilf got abducted by aliens and then impregnated with his second son, Lucas, who then proceeded to die to a fucking meteor a couple days after reaching teenagehood.

And I left you guys at the end of last blog that both Julien and Zaidan got abducted at the same time which I didn't even know could happen and then both came back pregnant...

So I panicked because I sure as fuck wasn't ready for 2 more children, and here we stand.

A seven sim household, which consisted of Lucas' ghost, Zaidan and his new daughter (Haylee), Julien and his new son (Jase), Dumbass and Vito's ghost

I decided to raise both children, although Julien was just about as prepared as I was (not a lot), so Zaidan had to do most of the parenting of Jase (although I suck at raising more than one child at once, so he ended up being an unhappy infant(oops)) Meanwhile I had aged haylee up into a child because there's nothing worse than two infants/toddlers from personal experience (flashbacks to my generation challenge attempt)

During this time, I finally had leveled Zaidan up to Level 10 Gourmet Cooking, which means I was one step away from a plate of Ambrosia, an Angelfush. Now due to, well, Zaidan's lore... (don't ask these are characters I shoved in my sims game for fun listen don't judge (or do)) I got Dumbass, his Husband, to fish for him instead. Doesn't change a lot, but considering one of his old traits back in Sims 3 was Unlucky, perhaps he wasn't the greatest pick.

Then again, I suppose it depends on what's considered "Unlucky", this is the same guy who (in Sims 3) ended up with seven children strictly by alien pregnancy....

Nothing much happened for the days that I was catching Angelfish, just classic ol' Julien pissing on my living room carpet, breaking up fights between Lucas and Julien, making "why is the FUCKING TOILET BROKEN AGAIN" my most spoken sentence, "JULIEN STOP PISSING ON MY KITCHEN FLOOR" my second most spoken sentence, a lot of fixing the toilet, leaving, coming back to see it broken again, shit now dumbass is a werewolf and is running around the neighbourhood ferally, shit now dumbass is a werewolf and possessed and is standing in the middle of the park with a unsettling grin.

Suprisingly, it didn't take long for dumbass to catch an Angelfish (atleast as long as i had thought, i thought i'd be there for real life days) and in no time I finally had a plate of ambrosia. I chose to revive Lucas, because knowing Vito, he'd die from laughter again in a day.

Now I will say now, he's still alive, but definitely had some fucking close calls with death and this man, fucking hell…

After the whole Ambrosia thing (or during it I forgor) Dumbass got offered a job as an Astronaut, nothing new considering he's now a five star celebrity, but I figured why not, maybe the times will be better for him as an Astronaut than a E-Sport Gamer (spoiler alert, they are not)

but look at dumbass in his lil suit hes so

Dumbass quickly climbed ranks, and soon I had an Intersteller Smuggler making fucking 7 thousand simoleons, now this is a fucking ton.

To put into perspective, the most money we was making was Zaidan with 3 thousand (Used to be 6 thousand daily though because of books) and his son making 1.5 thousand

It's still a fucking lot he's making though, and a fuck load more than what I was thinking he'd make from it.

Anyway, I've now aged Haylee up to a teenager, and yet to age Jase up into a child, because everything has been chaos from here on out.

We've had even more abductions, THANKFULLY none resulting in pregnancys yet. But in order it's been Zaidan, Zaidan, Julien, Zaidan again, Dumbass (Which I was suprised about because they usually never take dumbass in this game anymore), and then Zaidan again.

But we also (almost) had another death. Apparently meteors really dont like Zaidan's children, because for the second time, A meteor fucking obliterates fucking Haylee who for some reason was stood there, talking to Zaidan…

Thankfully, to save Zaidan from the trauma of accidently killing one of his children incidently, Dumbass still has 8 death flowers from when he was growing them, which saves the hassle of me having to buy a room i made for ambrosia fish for more angelfish and buy a potion of youth

Hi Guys!

Welcome to “A Little to Gone” the Messy, Unorganized, and Complicated blog here on Tumblr. Now, it's been a couple of weeks since the Olivia Rodrigo fiasco but I still just can't get it out of my mind. I've been planning this blog for a couple of weeks, So welcome to the Olivia Rodrigo-Lore Episode.

For those who do not know but also for those who do Olivia Rodrigo is a world-renowned pop star sensation who has dropped her sophomore album GUTS, to those who have not listened to it please do. I can't express how good it is, the obsession is just very real. Dont let me get too sidetracked, just with any album I feel like there are bits and pieces that you can decode or break open. Albums are like puzzles. We get insight into celebrities' lives.

The lore of this album is so much more. It's incredible

The storytelling of its lyrics reveals just how many people are involved in this story. To keep this blog constructed, Im going to analyze the songs that stuck out to me and left me questioning what, how, and who.

The general theme of the album is the experience of a teenage girl. Themes of self-love, jealousy, beauty standards, and love. She expressed so much love but also heartbreak. That’s where Vampire, the single released to tease this album. Now, the song is essentially being exploited for love by an older guy. This boy used her over and over again until she finally received the courage to break it. The song’s title, lyrics, and cover art all make reference to vampires. Most often vampires are metaphors for an individual who drains the host of their energy and renders them helpless and depleted. The song discusses the value of liberating oneself from an unhealthy relationship. Further in the song it also talks themes of vulnerability and self-discovery.

Zack Bia and Adam Faze. They are the suspected vampires in Olivia’s life.

Adam Faze was her first boyfriend. Adam is a film producer, the speculations about how they met are unsure but they were seen out together in the summer of 2021, at a premiere, while some sources claim Olivia introduced him as her boyfriend, From their pictures of their semi-public relationship would surface on social media of them posting their scarface couple’s Halloween costumes. However, by February 2022 radio silence of the relationship cracked leading to an eventual split. Keep in mind that Adam and Olivia have a 6-year age gap, She was 18 when they first met and Adam was 25. In the song “Vampire” she talks about how she felt exploited by a person much older than just using her for her fame, Olivia says “But you made me look so naive The way you sold me for As you sink your teeth into me”

This age gap is pretty huge between Adam and Olivia. Adam is often told that his appearance is youthful. vampires are known for being ageless/ or fresh for example look at Edward Cullen, Adam is a man who has not aged. He looks pretty young for his age of 25. Also, the timeline when she announced her relationship with Adam lines up perfectly with the release of the two years before Vampire premieres

Now the next theory of who it might be is Zack Bia. Suspicions of them being a couple came out in February of 2022 when they were seen spotted going out… “In the night”, If you don't know anything about this man. He is a DJ, and he has to keep this night persona, thus to quote Olivia “You only come out at night”. Now If we are being honest, I just think Vampire is about Zack and not Adam, In Vampire she sings how it was “6 months of torture” Page six reports they broke up in August. Now if we look at that timeline it is exactly six months, As for the age gap, Olivia was 19 while Zac was 26.

CisLunar Dev Blog #1: Lunar

Howdy!

The first of many Dev Blogs on the projects I'm working on. This is all focused on CisLunar, my streaming/vtuber/pngtuber lore and storyline.

I got into the vtuber world maybe a year and a half ago. First it was me just trying to understand this new niche form of entertainment, which really blew up since then I feel, and now I'm a fan. As someone who wants to share something without actually showing my face, I really wanted to try it out!

With that being said, as someone who was raised to make every project/assignment the best, it's taken some time for me to get everything together. I also don't have that much disposable income (at the time i first started developing this, i was paying my way through grad school) so I know I don't have the fastest internet/best specs for streaming.

But! My computer doesn't mind a little bit of drawing streams here and there! So I hope to make some fun drawings on stream~

With that said, I noticed that a lot of vtubers create a persona that may or may not be similar to them. The lores of some of the characters they have can be quite extensive. As someone who enjoys creating a new world, I thought it would be cool to make my own little world.

Let's start with some characters shall we? This post will go over one of the titular characters: Lunar!

A mischievous radio host who plays the newest & hottest music on Planet GJ504b. Underneath their fun day job, she uses her connections and gossip loving nature as an informant in the underworld. While she used to freelance her services, she now only works for the Nebula Mafia Family. Her boyfriend, the Nebula mafia don's son, is her usual customer.

When first creating Lunar, I was actually going to go the full Vtuber route when I decided to take a stab at streaming part time. Her first iteration came from a Halloween design challenge i gave myself the previous year.

Fun fact: her skin tone is actually color picked from mine! I wanted her to be a reflection of me, so I decided to keep the mushroom hairstyle I drew as I used to rock a very good mushroom/pageboy haircut when I was younger.

Soon after I decided to change up her look. You see I tried to go in the class vtuber design route--cutouts and asymmetry. I then wanted to change her hair length as well. I wanted to get her away from being too similar to me and into her own person. At one point I thought this was the perfect length, but I liked swoop I gave it.

After a couple of passes of her clothes, it was then I liked the idea of giving her a catsuit with tiger stripes. I went through different color ways hoping to keep up with a certain identity color scheme, (two of the colors are featured in their eyes), but I rather liked the combination of these bright colors. This is where her playful personality began to take shape in my head. The bright colors of her clothes reflected her zany personality.

And thus her yr 1 design was born! I used it for the first year I started streaming! At this point, her story was pretty messy as I knew I wanted her to be an informant. I didn't think too much about it, as I just wanted to make things so I can began dipping my toe into streaming.

After a year however, I believed I could push myself and redesign Lunar. While I liked the concept of her design, I thought it was a bit bland. As character from outer space, something about her seemed very regular to me for some reason lol

Due to school, my poor internet, and my own mental health, I couldn't stream much and often. I set a goal for myself to use the next time I began streaming, I would put more creativity in Lunar and the world she resides in. The first step was redesigning her.

First I thought maybe I could keep the catsuit and do a different style of cut and change the colors. While I liked the monochromatic idea of the pattern, the clothes was still not hitting it for me. I then thought about giving her more skin. I was getting on the right track!

After more trials and doodles, I finally made a good design! It is reminiscent of her original design, but a bit more in line with her character. I was so happy with this design that I decided to give her more outfits for me to choose from. I like to think she has a massive closet. She has some style rules though: arms covered, prefers to show off their belly button, always wears shades.

I actually started on some illustrations! I'll finish them at some point lol

Going to be rambling insanely about Ghost and probably what his feelings on the monarchy would be, coming from one deeply damaged povo to another.

Anyway, specifically around the time the parasite in chief in her idiot hat (thanks Eccleston lub u) died and passed said idiot hat on, I was seeing a lot of (fun and gentle-ribbing, mind you!) posts about Ghost getting razzed about the queen croaking and maybe him being sad about it or something - I don’t really remember bc I have shit for brains and I just latch onto what bits my adhd will allow.

SO. I really don’t think Bruv Innit gave two shits about Liz buying the farm, bc he grew up working class in a working class town to a drug addicted, drug peddling dad, and a fairly nondescript mom who likely didn’t have a way to get her and her kids out of that shit situation (per ‘09 MW lore and some presumption). I imagine dude was dragged around a shitload of council estates and his dad’s friends’ shitty crash pads, no stability whatsoever, where food insecurity was a big ass forever-looming deal, mom had no idea if her 20 year old vauxhall was going to make it another trip to her minimum wage part time job, and school was forever on the back burner bc when it came to school supplies/trips vs eating and keeping the lights on. You can guess which one won.

If we’re also going with him being about 35-40ish, he would’ve been 10-12ish or so around Diana’s divorce and then her death. So, here’s this starving, horrendously abused kid, with his starving, horrendously abused mother and little brother, drowning in a system that is pretty much just letting them sink to the bottom, nothing is being done about the evil sperm donor that ruins everything for them, and he’s obliterated constantly by TV coverage and tabloids and radio DJs talking about this goddamned family’s stupid fucking drama. Charles cheated, Diana left, her poor boys in their fancy private schools with their endless wealth and glowing skin and brand new clothes that don’t stink of consignment shops are sad.

Sorrows - sorrows, prayers. 🫶

It’s a story he’s seen countless times, the only difference is money and coverage. And, realistically, the women in the stories he knows aren’t killed in car wrecks, they’re killed by their infuriated husbands who think they’re owed something catching up. Maybe that’s why his mom doesn’t leave the cocksucker that trapped her, she could’ve ended up another council house Diana that no one gave a shit about.

He grows up, becomes a butcher’s apprentice, joins the army. Straightens his brother out, makes sure his mom is set up nice, finally beats the shit out of his dad. And all the while, there looms the most fucking pointless, parasitic family in England: living off taxes taken from the public, god knows how much land and how many castles, even owning all the fucking swans on the island.

Relics, vampires, leeches.

But, you know, twenty years down the road, he’s pushing 40, his services to the country are done in the dark, the family he tried so badly to save were brutally cut down anyway, and when he goes to Tesco, the price of a fifth of piss Smirnoff is insane, and he’s still got Soap swimming in his head mid-rant bc his mam’s fucking knee replacement appeal has been denied for the third time and she can’t even walk anymore, Gaz is moving for the second time in a year bc he just can’t afford to live close to his parents even on his salary, meanwhile there was a stretch where it looked like Philip was surviving solely by being pumped full of virgin blood and straight stem cells.

So, yeah, if anything he probably said cheers when the news broke and cracked a couple extra jokes that day.

“What d’you call one dead Windsor? A good start.”

So, on the new cinematic that was published yesterday, without going into a deep analysis here (because people have already done an amazing job at dissecting every piece of visual/symbolism, like the Golden/Black City, what appears to be the origin of the Blight, the recurring symbols in the seven semi-circle spheres/Evanuris imagery in Trespasser etc etc), I just want to write down some of my general thoughts that I had already put in the tags under the video, but there are also a few things I'd like to add. 🙂

Ok, so generally speaking, this cinematic is basically a recap for anyone who hasn’t played Trespasser/ is new to the series / doesn’t remember every single detail from a game that came out almost a decade ago. I always wondered how they were going to (re-)introduce new people to the lore and the big revelations that were sadly concealed in a DLC and after giving it some thought, I’m actually very pleased with the way they’re doing it. 😁

So in regards to Solas, this is everything you need to know before going into the game. (Though I still try to look at this from the perspective of someone who’s only played the DAI base game and therefore only knows the after credits scene with Solas and Flemeth.. So you would still be kinda lost about as to how Varric even knows about all this stuff with the creation of the Veil/what Solas plans to do and all that, so.. I would hope this still gets addressed in some form, especially if fan speculations turn out true and there will be a ten year timeskip since Inquisition, so regardless of Trespasser, in any case, it would be nice to learn what the Inquisition has been up to these past ten years. lol)

So for anyone who is now like "Ugh, another trailer about Solas?? Don't we had enough???", I get it, I really do, but I also need you to understand that this is *not* another trailer, it's an in-game cinematic, probably part of the very beginning of the game and I feel like people tend to forget that the majority of players will NOT be people like us, who have been sitting here analyzing every single frame and syllable of new content under a microscope for the past eight years. 😂

Most people who've played Inquisition maybe once or twice a decade ago will maybe have a vague memory of who Solas or the Dread Wolf are and what his story is. Of course we know all this stuff, but that's the point, it's supposed to be a recap of everything you need to know before going into the game.

Though I can understand why you would be frustrated that they chose to show this as yet another part of marketing that's solely centered around him. (Heck, even I as a fan of his character am honestly surprised how much focus there is 😂) But even though BioWare’s blog post ended with the phrase "close out this year with a little treat", the fact that this was now a general "reintroduction" to the lore, gives me a little hope that they might not wait another couple of months now to show something new, since this is still fresh in people's minds. They're building momentum and I would hope they would use this to kick off the marketing for a wider audience (and the Game Awards are by far the biggest platform to show something).

That being said, let’s talk about the visuals for a second!

Simply put, they’re drop dead gorgeous! As expected from the great Nick Thornborrow, who also did Solas’ frescoes in DAI (and who sadly left BioWare some time ago). The art style and the way it’s presented/animated reminds me a lot of DAO’s intro or those transitional scenes between acts in DA2 or even those little animation bits from the Keep (which were also narrated by Varric!). So it’s definitely true to the DA formula/getting back to the roots even. lol

So even for those of us who knew about all this stuff, it was still amazing to see it visualized and summed up in such a beautful way. And additionally, it contained hints and symbolism that seem to confirm everything I’ve been thinking for the past seven years. lol (Again, not getting into details here, because people have already done a far better job than I could do to explain all that. 😂) I loved how the visuals transitioned seemlessly into the each other with gorgeously smooth animation! I also love how you’re getting almost blinded by the way it’s portraying the destruction of the Veil. lol Like, it get’s all dark and quiet for a second and then BOOM, spotlight ON lmao, I was instantly reminded of Sandal’s prophecy in DA2, when he’s like “The shadows will part and the skies will open wide, when he rises”.

But we also need to talk about the music and the sound design, because GOSH, this was so GOOD!

I would highly recommend listening to this thing with head phones, because WOW, there are so many different little components build into this one minute track, it’s amazing!! I looove how the music starts off with this anticipation and a single violin and then shifts into this more ominous melody supported by these faint “marching to war” drums when the visuals transition from sun to moon/Solas to Fen’Harel, like the music perfectly encapsulates this feeling of ambiguity, like he’s neither a villain or a hero, and it’s up to you what to believe.

Then there’s that beautiful wolf howling in the back right as Varric says “Dread Wolf”, before the music gets more sinister, followed by this big booming “shutting the gate” sound when the Veil is formed and whatever you call that sound of magic as the gods are sealed away and this creepy whispering as the shadows are slowly spreading from the Black City and consuming everything, when it gets all quiet. And then, if you’re wearing head phones, you get knocked off your feet by that enormous explosion sound as the Veil is shattered, like you can practically FEEL the impact of this wold-altering magic in your bones. lol And then the music culminates in this grand dramatic orchestral piece that is SO reminiscent of Inquisition’s main theme??

And as the title is shown and the music breaks up, there’s that simple melody again played by this traditional string instrument (I’m no expert, but it reminds of like, ancient greek?) that was also in the 2020 teaser trailer!

Like, huge props to whoever did the sound design and I can’t wait to find out who does the score! <333

Lastly, can we talk about how Varric’s talking in the PAST tense, when saying “But now, he wanted to tear down that Veil, and destroy the world”??

It almost sounds like whatever Solas wanted to do, something happened, but as always, it didn’t go the way he intended and now we have to deal with the consequences? lol It sounds like that line was cut off too soon there, like Varric was going to add something like "But now he wanted to tear down that Veil and destroy the world.... but he f*cked up spectacularly (again) and now we have to clean up his mess." 😂

So are we maybe already playing in a post-Veil world right from the start? I hope not, because I would have loved to actually SEE how Solas tore down that Veil? 😂 It makes me think that maybe this narration isn't the final version and it will end up being different in the game, like this was edited for marketing purposes/to avoid spoilers? lol

Also, again like in the 2020 teaser trailer, I wonder who Varric is even talking to? Who is "we"? And why are WE "the only ones who can stop him"? What is it about "us" that's able to stop him?

Also, I've seen people saying he's holding a wand in that last visual? 😂

Guys, for seven years I've been trying to mentally (and emotionally) prepare myself that Solas (like all returning characters in any BioWare game) is going to look significantly different in a sequel that’s released a decade from the previous one, and my biggest fear remains that he's gonna look like Voldemort with a nose, so I can't say I'm overly thrilled at the prospect of seeing him walking around with a damn wand. 😂

Though I’m curious if it’s like some other people are saying and it could also be a weapon/blade like the one that was produced by the red lyrium idol in Tevinter Nights/the Blue Wraith comics? 👀

(But to be completely honest, my main takeaway from this whole thing was actually “OMG, they kept the CAPE for Solas’ ancient elven armor design from the early concept art???” lmaoo I was sure they got rid of it after seeing the 2020 teaser trailer. lol I’m sorry, but for those who don’t know me, I’m the biggest sucker for capes and coats in character design 😂 Give me ALL the capes! All of them!! Edna Mode hates me. lol)

Anyway, this is all I’ve got for the moment, I’m super thrilled! Even though I totally get everyone who desperately wants to see something other than Solas lol, if only to finally get a sense of confirmation after such a long time that there’s a game that’s actually.. real and playable, you know. 😂 Though tbh, I think I’ll only be able to fully realize this the moment we get an actual cinematic trailer with in-game footage and stuff. lol Fingers crossed (and clown wig ready) for the Game Awards! 😁

MCYT Demographic Survey Part 2 RESULTS

IT’S TIME!!!

Once again, thank you so much to everyone who participated! 1,654 people total responded to this - about four and a half times as many respondents as the first survey. It’s honestly incredible. I’m so happy the rest of you are as interested as I am in this stuff :D

The increased turnout is also why these results are being posted two days later than I’d intended. I want to give a HUGE thank you to my friend @quincepastey and my sibling @orestes-swimming for helping me out, and by helping I do mean they did basically all of the technical stuff for me, because my knowledge of spreadsheets was not up to the task. So thank you to Cupid for organizing all the data from questions 3 and 4 into something comprehensible for me, and thank you to Kal for making the charts! They are absolutely the MVPs and everyone reading this should go check them out. Thank you guys so much <3

For your convenience, here’s a link to the results of the first survey I did six months ago. Now - on to the results!

Question 1: What is your age range?

Compared to the results of the first survey, we can see that things have changed a bit! Specifically, the fandom has shifted just a little bit older. The solid majority of the fandom is still in the 15-17 year old range, but it’s gone down from almost half to closer to 40%. Almost a third of the fandom are ages 18-20, up from close to a fifth six months ago. 21-25 year olds have increased from about 10% to about 14%. And the youngest segment, 13-14 year olds, have gone from almost 20% of the fandom down to 12% - the sharpest change of all.

Finally, nearest and dearest to my own heart, there are now 26 whole people in the fandom aged 26-30 and 9 people aged 30+. Old Squad is growing, folks. We are... the 2% 😎 Special shoutout to the person who said their 15 year old kid got them into the fandom. I hope you know just how cool you are.

These results are interesting, but it’s also impossible to say how accurate the data is. This survey and the previous one were only posted on my blog, and they only reached a wider audience through the reblogs of my followers. So do these changes reflect actual changes in the demographics of the fandom as a whole, or is it just that my followers (and the people who follow them) have shifted older? To try to avoid this bias in the future, I may reach out to some well-known younger bloggers and ask them to reblog the next survey I do so that I can reach a more even audience.

Question 2: What is your gender?

Apologies for the small text, but there were so many unique write-in answers that I wanted to include them all. You may want to open the image in a separate tab for better quality.

In contrast to the age question, the gender spread of the fandom has remained pretty much the same. About half the fandom is still female, the nonbinary crowd has increased from 20% to 25%, 7% of us are male, almost 7% are genderfluid, and about 5% are agender. Just like last time, most of the write-in responses fell into the vague categories of either genderqueer or questioning.

No surprises on this one! The fandom continues to be overwhelmingly female and queer. Next time I think I’ll include genderqueer and questioning as options to try to catch some of those people into a formal category. All y’all are so valid, especially the person who wrote in their gender as “soup” <3

The results for questions 3 and 4 will be under a cut, because I don’t want to completely destroy people’s dashes.

Before I get into the last two questions, a couple notes. First, I want to explain how I came up with the list of creators, since a lot of people were either excited or disappointed by the fact that a few different people were on there.

On the last survey, this question was a write-in, and I had to transcribe and collate all the answers by hand to come up with the actual number of people who followed each creator. For this survey, I simply took the list that came out of the previous one and pasted it in! I also added a few people who no one wrote in six months ago but who are much more prominent now (Ranboo being the biggest example). So if you were excited to see your favorite small creator listed as an option, they were there because someone wrote them in last time! And if you wrote in your favorite small creator here, they’ll be an option on the next survey. The list is entirely crowdsourced and it will expand with each survey.

That said, the same also applies for more controversial creators. Specifically, I’m talking about CallMeCarson. Several people questioned my decision to keep him on the list - and to be honest, I considered taking him out. But in the end I decided to leave him in as an option for the sake of completeness and consistency with the previous survey. I want to emphasize that this is not me condoning his actions. But for the sake of the data, I felt that it was best to leave him in.

That said, let’s move on to questions 3 and 4!

Question 3: What creator(s) do you primarily follow?

So, it’s harder to compare with the previous survey on this one, and that’s purely because on the previous survey I didn’t have the help I did here. The chart I was able to make for the results back in October was frankly trash. Also, the fact that I split “followed creators” into two questions - primarily and casually followed - definitely throws things off. However, we can still do a certain amount of comparison!

The most obvious change is Ranboo. He straight up was not on the previous survey at all - I think he’d been streaming for less than a month at the time. Now, about 55% of respondents listed him as someone they primarily follow. The Dream SMP itself has also jumped dramatically. Previously, about 5% of people wrote in Dream SMP. That has increased to over half. Quackity has gone from less than 2% to about 30%. Karl has gone from 4% to 30%. Phil has gone from about 8% to a little under 50%. The SBI have jumped from 11% to over 40%.

Techno has gone from about 50% to over 60%. Tommy has gone from 45% to over 55%. Wilbur has jumped from 43% to 55%. Tubbo has remained steady at about 38%.

Dream has apparently dropped some of his following percentage-wise, falling from 50% to about 35%. However, George, Sapnap, and the Dream Team itself have all jumped from 10-12% to almost 30%.

I’m not going to go over the rest of the list, because that would just get way too long. However, I will drop a link to the spreadsheets of data for this survey and the previous one, so anyone who wants to can do some comparison of their own!

Question 4: What creators do you casually follow?

I won’t do as detailed of a comparison on this question, because there’s nothing to compare it to - this question wasn’t on the previous survey. However, it’s interesting to see how many more people follow Fundy, Nihachu, BadBoyHalo, Captain Puffy, Eret, Awesamdude, and Jack Manifold casually rather than as a primary favorite. Out of the top twelve, Karl, Quackity, Phil, and Tubbo are the only ones who don’t have a major discrepancy between the amount of people who follow them casually versus primarily.

I would be curious to hear people’s thoughts on why that’s the case! Personally, I would guess it’s a combination of each of their approaches to lore on the Dream SMP, the frequency and times of day that they stream, and the people they tend to make content with and be associated with by the fandom. I may go into that more later, but this post is already very long, so I’ll hold off for now. Here’s a link to this question’s spreadsheet for anyone who wants to take a closer look!

...And that’s a wrap! Good grief, this got long. Kudos to anyone who actually read the whole thing because I know my attention span would be challenged. I’m already thinking about the next survey - a couple people suggested that I add in questions about orientation and nationality, and while I want to keep the survey pretty tight in its scope, I am considering it. It would be even more data to process but it would be interesting to know!

I would love to hear people’s thoughts on these results! I’m only one person, so I know there’s interesting stuff I must have missed. I’m just gonna say it, y’all, Yashahime isn’t what I expected and there are elements to the series that I would have handled differently but to be honest, if I was at the helm of this all of you guys would be shitting on my version too.

My expectations–my hopes and dreams for the InuYasha cast after the end–it’s all so different from yours. I’ve read your fanfictions, I’ve seen your OC children. I respect them even if they’re not the characters that exist in my head. I respect them even if your ideas of the world after Kagome returns take three different turns than mine. This is exactly why I am urging some of you guys to brew a cup of chamomile tea and wait, at least until we have all 24 episodes of Yashahime at our disposal. I’m not the biggest fan of them, but Sunrise deserves the same respect as all of you do. And before you get all defensive and upset, don’t think for a single second that I have forgotten what InuYasha: A Fedual Fairytale did to the relationships of every InuYasha character. I feel their poor representation of InuYasha and Kagome’s relationship in the very atoms on my fingernails to this day.

Still, I have 193 animated TV episodes and four feature films to point at and criticize. And believe me when I tell you that the amount of college papers I could compose regarding the disservice that was done not just to my favorite couple, but to all of the characters that I’ve spent the past fourteen going on fifteen years of my life growing up alongside is kind of crazy. Yashahime has four episodes. F O U R E P I S O D E S.

For some crazy reason, Rumiko Takahashi loves the cast and staff that worked on InuYasha: A Feudal Fairytale–they take annual vacations together for Christ’s sake. It sounds like Sunrise has a plan for this sequel and just because the four released episodes include elements that I didn’t anticipate doesn’t make it fair to rule out the possibility of the series’ potential as a whole. Takahashi claimed to like it and that woman is coo-coo banana crazy, but if she believes in it, I have faith too.

But something that I wanted to remind you guys about is the fact that sequels don’t happen in the Rumic World. That’s why Yashahime existing is so fucking insane to me in general. Takahashi wanted to make a new story instead of “InuYasha Two” and as a writer who tends to not be a fan of sequels myself, I know where she’s coming from. I also wanted to remind you that we are not watching “InuYasha Two” either. We have Hanyo no Yashahime. This is a series about the daughters of some characters we love carving a path sprinkled with a little bit of familiar stuff and a little bit of new stuff. The whereabouts of our favorite characters from the past (unless you’re a Sesshomaru fan, we found that guy today LOL) is the series’ greatest mystery. Sunrise is dragging us along without an ounce of remorse as the new generation uncovers it. And it’s painful, but that doesn’t make it fair to disregard the potential of an entire work so early on in its run. If you decide that the story is simply not for you and you’d like jump ship? Totally different. It’s absolutely fine. It’s expected! But if you��re discrediting any kind of potential? No way.

What’s been confirmed so far is that Moroha has little to no memories of her parents even though she knows who they are. Today we saw her grandmother ask for regards to be sent to her mom. Instead of having an emotional breakdown like we (with our 559 chapter history with Kagome) wanted, Moroha showed the largest amount of discomfort yet. She faltered, she admitted that she didn’t really “know” her mother, and scratched the back of her head uncomfortably. Nonetheless, she agreed to send the regards. This was Moroha acting in-character. Seriously, this quarter-demon is a fucking spitfire like twenty-six hours a day; she may have bared her butt to the family, but she hasn’t shown them any signs of emotional vulnerability. Two different things.

Speaking of two, I’ll fight anyone who says Towa didn’t deserve that scene with Sota. In Yashahime, Sota raised Towa for a decade. Towa was his first baby. Towa is so much more than just the daughter of Sesshomaru, she is Sota’s daughter. His baby girl. And he sees so much of his big sister in her, especially now that Towa’s departing on an epic journey to gather her twin’s memories like the shards of the Sacred Jewel. It felt nostalgic to Sota. It felt right for him to share this moment with his daughter instead of his tiny gremlin niece who jacked his credit card and came into his life a few days ago 😉. And it was positively monumental that for the first time, Towa called Sota “Papa” instead of “Sota Papa.” It was in-character for the lore of the show. Maybe not our hearts, but in the reality of the show and therein lies the difference.

Please don’t take this post as a declaration stating that you cannot be upset. Sunrise can’t make us all happy, that’s preposterous! We just need to be fair. It’s been a test for me too, in some ways, but I’m genuinely enjoying Yashahime for what it is. My blog is always going to be here for fun stupid posts, sentiments fics, and anything InuYasha. I want to continue participating in the journey that is Yashahime with my followers which is precisely why I’m encouraging you to watch the series with a calming cup of chamomile tea at your side. I’m encouraging you to remember that the main cast and main supporting cast of this sequel simply do not share the same history that we do with InuYasha and his friends. We need to acknowledge the characters for where they stand–their history with the world we’ve been shown–not where we stand.

I know it’s hard, my dudes, we miss our family. I want their safety and happiness just as much as you. But, I promise you, it’s going to be okay in the end. Kagome already told us so.

Happy Birthday UT... -_-;

🌼Ok I am going to say a few things that may be off putting to some people... please be aware this is my opinion and just how I feel in general. This is just something I want to get off my chest... this is a very serious topic so please read with that in mind.

I am sure some people remember the Dear UT Fandom post that I made a while back. This is an extension to that. After stepping away from the fandom I have seen more trends that have left a VERY sour taste in my mouth. This fandom used to be welcoming and passionate but lately I have seen some behaviors that I can only classify as immature, narcissistic, and entitled. Now I am not saying everyone in the fandom is like this, no, far from but as someone that has been in the UT pit for a very long time... It is disheartening to say that the more of this I see the more I begin to question if people actually UNDERSTAND what the game was trying to say to begin with. I am going to go on record here to say that I am seriously tired. On a level that I did not think was possible. I still love what I have created and I still enjoy the content that my friends put forth that will never change. At the same time with my split from the fandom I have realized that if you are not in then you are out. In other words those connections you once had seem to break down because you are no longer in the fandom 24/7? Is that... ok? Sure people have different interests but you don’t just drop people because they aren’t in the thick of it like they used to be. What... how? I don’t even understand that. In addition I have been seeing some highly toxic people spouting some shipping war garbage. Now I know what you are thinking... but Kit you have been dealing with that for years! Yes, sadly but this is where I draw the line. Look I know certain ships are not everyones cup of tea. You all know I am personally uncomfortable with Fontcest and Sanscest content. THAT IS MY OPINION. I am and will always be a RISK girl. That said... I have increasingly seen people become extraordinarily hostile when it comes to this.

I am not going to name who I saw this from because honestly I don’t want to give them the platform but... come on guys. It’s easy to filter tags. Does it always work? No.. but it’s a start. It’s what I do. You really have to check yourself when you go on your blog to call out a specific group of people calling them things like “sick fucks”. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean you can tear down the people that do. Their argument for this was something along the lines of... again the same beaten to death annoying excuse I get every single damn time, pedophilia. They are even claiming that those that make older adult versions are also in this category. The truth of the matter is they are spouting out mindless generalizations in favor of their own outcome... Yes, I am a Frans shipper. It makes me happy but let me tell you a little story. When I first played the game I had no shipping at all. It was a cute little game that I thought had a very profound message to tell. Then I got into the RP side of things. I have always kind of been a person that is into the dark stuff so I auditioned for Fell Frisk, hence my old username. Do you know why I started shipping Frisk with Red? Because of the interactions between my version of Frisk, which would eventually grow into Underworld Frisk, and my friends version of Red. Let’s be honest here... Red is NOT Sans. At least their version wasn’t. It was their own, an OC in a Sans the skeleton skin. That is where my love came from because I will tell you right now... the Red that existed and one I still see from time to time... I LOATHED. I hated his character so much.

My point in telling this story is that people automatically assume that I looked at the game and went HECK YEAH they should be a couple. Absolutely not. In fact it was quite the opposite. I fell in love with a characterization under that same same. So before people go pointing fingers maybe they should stop and actually think. Not everything is cut and dry. I am sorry if I am pontificating a little bit but I can’t help myself. I am sick of seeing “you need to see help” posts by people that refuse to actually take the time to get to know people.

That is one of the main problems of social media. How well do you actually know someone? The answer... you probably don’t. Ok I am going to pull back from my soap box. Look... I love this fandom it has been very good to me but I am glad that I am out of it now. I made the @fallenfellfrisk blog for you all who have supported me and enjoy that kind of content because as a creator I love interacting with people. I know people want to see more of those designs and I eventually will deliver them but for now... I hope you enjoy and support this massive Hell Lore world build I have been working on. It’s going to be crazy and it’s honestly a lot of fun to play in. So to end this very long “vent” enjoy what you enjoy and don’t be a jerk about it. Don’t put others down and accuse them of things that are not even remotely true. Instead of being so one way or the other people need to really think about a few things. We are all human beings. We are all individuals. Not everyone is going to agree with what you have to say. THAT IS OK. There are ways to shield yourself from the content you do not like. Do not attack your followers. Do not call them names. Do not treat people like garbage or spread rumors about them effectively separating them from the ones they care about.

Try to remember that your actions have consequences and that your behaviors even more so. Be the best person you can be and remember the humanity of others. Be a positive influence in life and not a toxic egotistical and narcissistic asshole demanding something of someone else. Be... well... kind.

I Want You Back (Part I)

Hello my friends! How are you? I decided to divide this topic into two parts and taking the first half of episode 16.

Thanks to my dear editor @destielle for take her time and betaed this mess! 😘💕

Here I will talk about how Dean's priorities change from the moment he discovers Cas is possessed by Lucifer.

Something like… 'Amara who?'

Let's check it out…

He wants so be saved

The first scene in the bunker in episode 15x15 shows us Dean trying to force the idea about Cas wanting to be saved to be true, just like the way when he came back from Purgatory without the angel and lied to himself to the point he altered his memories about what really happened.

Sam can sense his brother's feelings and concerns… pay attention to this dialogue…

Sam: Uh... don’t you think our plates are a little full? I mean it’s bad out there, Dean.

Dean: Yeah, Sam. You think I don’t know that? We’ve done nothing but mainline lore for a week, okay? We’ve got jack on another hand of God and Amara, and we’ve got even less jack on how to save Cas.

Sam: If he wants to be saved.

Dean: He does... even if he doesn’t know it yet.

Sam: Dean...

Dean: I’m burnt, man. Okay? And I need... WE need to get out of here. Let’s go stretch our legs.

Sam looks wearily at Dean.

Sam knows Castiel decided to do this because he wanted to be useful to the fight. Again, Sam and Cas share the same train of thought, opting for war decisions. It’s easy for Sam to understand Cas. But for Dean, the one in love with the angel, it’s really hard to believe. He can't wrap his head around the possibility of Cas saying yes to Lucifer on purpose or that he doesn’t want to be saved. He can't and he doesn't want to believe it. And the guilt inside of him because he didn't see these events coming is playing an important role in his despair. All he wants is his angel back...

Gunnar: Castiel mirror

They were set blatantly: Dean and his crush on Gunnar and Sam and his crush on Rio.

Playing with these two parallels at the same time in the same episode, we, as the audience searching for subtext, can see and talk about Bi!Dean easily.

That's why we have Gunnar winking at Dean and Rio seductively greeting Sam when they came out from the wrestling ring in two different scenes.

But that wasn't the only thing the writers wanted to show us by introducing Gunnar.

Gunnar was dressed in the color blue, so, when Dean faces him, we can interpret that as him facing Cas… watch this…

Gunnar: Sorry, kid. I don’t want to do this.

Dean: Oh, then don’t.

Gunnar: You say that like I got a choice. That guy out there, he’s a...

Dean: He’s a demon. I know. And I know about Hell and deals... all of it. What’s he got over you? You sold your soul, didn’t you?

Gunnar: Ten years ago, I wanted another shot at the belt; 50,000 people screaming my name. I was desperate and dumb.

Dean: But you only had the title for like a week.

Gunnar: Desperate and dumb.

Dean: Okay. Okay. Look, you screwed up, all right? Trust me. I’ve been there. But it is never too late to do the right thing.

Gunnar: You really believe that?

Dean: I have to.

Gunnar wanted to be the winner, the hero, just like Cas. Castiel wanted to be that hero on which Sam and Dean could rely on. And his despair led him to Lucifer. So Dean, emphatically, tries to give him hope because he totally understands, because he has ‘been there.'

This is a piece of Dean Winchester's struggle. Dean has been there. He totally knows what it’s like to be desperate, and we can easily imagine him to be asking himself why Cas didn't come to him and talk about everything first. But also why he couldn’t see the signs of the bad shape Castiel was in. Why did Sam notice but not him? Not even when he saw him in the bunker and Casifer lightly suggested using Dean as bait? All of this is seething inside Dean. So when he finds Gunnar and hears his story of WHY HE HAD MADE A DEAL WITH A DEMON (just like Cas) it was as if he was seeing Cas in that story.

Learning a Lesson

The last scene in the episode is Sam and Dean talking about Gunnar and the conversation turning into a Cas-centric chat…

Sam: Are you okay?

Dean: Not even a little bit. Lawless was a good guy. He didn’t deserve to go out like that, you know?

Sam: Dean, you know what? He made a bad decision. We’ve been there.

Dean: Yeah, you, me, now Cas.

This is the confirmation of the assumption that Gunnar's behavior was a recall of Castiel's bad decision and that Dean was aware of it the whole time. So it’s confirmed: When he was talking to Gunnar it was a mirror for talking to Cas.

Sam: Dean, we’ll get him back. We will. We just got to…

Sam recognizes the symptomatology over there… everything is about Cas.

Dean: Keep grinding. No matter how much it hurts, no matter how hard it gets, you got to keep grinding.

Sam: Right.

Dean is talking, finally, with the pain carved into his heart, and Sam is there for him, listening to his brother confessing he's devastated because Cas made that bad decision and that he wants him back, and that he will keep fighting for it.

Dean: And that’s how we’re gonna win. And we’re gonna win. We’re gonna save Cas, we’re gonna ice the Devil and we’re gonna shank the Darkness. And anyone that gets in our way, well, God help them.

Sam: Damn right.

Dean: Damn right.

Dean learning his lesson, painfully, but he's okay, he can do this, Sam is there, and both of them will get Cas back.

Cas comes first

In the beginning of episode 11x16 'Safe House', Dean is worried about not having any clue about Cas and Amara, but Sam finds a case to make his brother focus on another topic. A distraction.

But the case ended up being one of Bobby's and Rufus’s old cases.

In the same way we have Dean focused on Cas and Sam focused on relocating that on another case, we have Bobby focused on the Apocalypse and Rufus focused on the house and the case.

The whole episode is like a war between what is more important: the Apocalypse (Cas) or the case.

There are handprints on the victims, mirroring the Destiel handprint. And we have a broken seal, mirroring Cain's mark.

BOBBY: The apocalypse is on the horizon, and you wanna hunt a damn ghost!

And this one here too…

BOBBY: Been burning the midnight oil. Last couple of weeks. Up for days. Lookin' for ways to stop the apocalypse. Lookin' for - anything. Sam and Dean are right in the middle of this thing. I'm worried about my boys, Rufus.

Bobby isn't sleeping, just like Dean. Because both of them are worried. One because of his familial love for his boys and the other one because of romantic love, as the writers will make that difference apparent in episode 11x17 'Red Meat', which I’ll be talking about in the next meta.

Finally, I want to talk about this dialogue before ending this analysis…

RUFUS: Hey, hey. Alright, okay. Papa bear. But you know more than anyone, Bobby. Even if we find a way to keep the world spinning, not everyone's going to be on that bus ride home. Sacrifice, greater good. All that jazz.

BOBBY: Yeah, I know.

The greater good, the war decision is making its appearance again. The Sacrifice, the path Castiel has chosen.

RUFUS: Oldest rule of hunting, Bobby. You can't save everyone.

So, Rufus (Sam mirror) talks about war decisions, and Bobby (Dean mirror) talks about his emotions (heart decision).

To conclude:

Episode 11x15 brought us subtext for Bi!Dean, making a blatant parallel between Gunnar/Dean and Rio/Sam, their youth crushes.

Gunnar was mirroring Cas by making a deal with a demon to become a hero again.

Dean immediately related Gunnar's story to Castiel. So the words he said to him were the ones he wanted to say to Cas, if he had just seen the weight of Cas' despair.

Episode 11x16 was another parallel between Sam and Dean with Bobby and Rufus with the topic being ‘What comes first?’. To Dean, the answer is obvious: Castiel comes first, always.
