In this server, we are hosting a literate roleplay based within the wonderful A Song of Ice & Fire universe created by George R. R. Martin. We only allow admins that are 18+ or older. The roleplay is a multi-era experience, allowing writers to claim characters from any era, spanning from the Century of Blood all the way to the main ASOIAF / Game of Thrones era.

Dreams didn’t make us kings, dragons did. But it is dreams and prophecies that shape our destinies and our futures. Explore many roleplay opportunities with all your favorite characters, and flesh out their lifetimes with compelling plots and concepts.*

Which sides will you choose, which battles will you win, which marks will you make on the histories? Join us and find out.

How does it work? Simple. Let’s say you were writing Aegon the Conqueror. We know that he was born in 27 BC, and he died in 37 AC. This means that you could write any plot that takes place during his lifetime that your heart desires. You would make a linear timeline for him by putting the date at the start of every rp, exploring what you wanted from his late 20s and the Conquest, to the end of his reign, to whatever you wished. He can interact with all the other characters that are alive at any point during his lifetime. Rinse and repeat for any other character you like that lived between the Century of Blood and the Song of Ice & Fire eras.

But things are still organized and the eras are kept separate. For instance, Jon Snow can’t go have tea with Aegon the Conqueror because their lives would never ever intersect. Aegon II can’t have a chitchat with Maegor. Crossover rps like that would have to be reserved for threads within our AU channel, which does not effect the rest of the server. So while the server may seem messy at first glance, the timeline of events is still linear to the dates that they happened, and it is overall a sandbox for people itching to write the canon eras ( or incorporate OCs into them ) without needing to join six different servers to meet all their needs.

onto plot ideas !

all of the ideas are ranked in order of which i prefer most to least. any external characters can also be discussed when we plan out extra plot details !

first idea: i picture muse as welt and muse b as himeko (idea credit to @aconites)

second idea: i feel like muses are self-explanatory (idea credit to @literarybaby)

third idea: i picture himeko as the princess and welt as the bodyguard (idea credit to @blcssom)

those are all the ideas i could come up with, although i always endorse plot suggestions so don’t feel limited to these. i’m also open to reworking or combining plots and stuff !

That being said, let’s get into the news! We will be doing a two-year timeskip in the plot starting in February, allowing the plot to move forward and for characters to seek new events and opportunities.

The timeskip will open with King Aegon’s son, Prince Aemon, the rider of Sunfyre and our current heir to the Iron Throne, claiming his position as the Lord of Dragonstone. Tensions and conflicts are still ever-present in the realm, so who’s to say if his ascent as Lord of the island will be a peaceful one? Princess Saera’s secret plotting continues against her family as tensions in the realm becme further spurned by the Ironborn. . . The rest, you will just have to join our ranks to find out!

The timeskip coincides with this month’s activity check and our rare member purge. We will be culling the herd on inactive roleplayers and stripping them of their characters, so that others can come in and claim some interesting concepts that were not being used as actively as they should have been. On top of that, to make the serving more inviting and less overwhelming to newcomers, we will be kicking all of the characterless people who have been in the server for a long time with no effort to be active.

I’m an advanced lit/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together.  I expect to mirror lengths (3 - 5+ paragraphs) but if there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going. 

Searching For: 

A large but legal age gap with older cis-male characters (40 - 50+). I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts who secretly have a soft heart. I also love grumpy, masculine men being intimidated by sweet but fiery women. My characters tend to be 25 - 35+. No submissive/damsels in distress here. 

I'm not looking for age play. It's a romance between two consenting adults who each act exactly their age and they just happen to be different ages.

Please no passive plotters. Play an equal role in moving the story forward. I love to build off each other’s ideas and create amazing scenes. I’m also more than happy to write side characters of either gender to expand the world.

attack on titan roleplay search [always open]

hello all! i'm looking to step back into writing & roleplaying after an abrupt hiatus for very personal reasons. my apologies to anyone i may have been in talks with before. if you are still interested, definitely feel free to reach back out! but i want nothing more right now than to write for my comfort fandom, attack on titan.

❧ 18+ writers only. preferably 21+. i'm a 26 year old woman and only interested in writing with people near my own age or older.

❧ canon/oc pairings & doubling.

❧ third-person, past-tense, multi-paragraph. descriptive writing is highly preferred. "pointless" details that fully bring the scene to life are my bread and butter. i love knowing how the characters are feeling at any given moment, their internal struggles, or character building of any sort. not everything needs to be action and dialogue. i love a good mix of everything.

❧ my post length ranges anywhere from a couple of paragraphs per character to 1k onwards. at the moment, i'm not really looking to do major novella like i have in the past. shorter responses are what i'm really craving rn.

❧ reply times can vary, so i'm looking for a long-term and laid back partner. roleplaying is a hobby first and foremost, and i never want it to feel like a responsibility. i am about as laid back as they come in this regard. take as long as you need, always -- the roleplay and i will always be here waiting! that being said, i am ghost friendly. it's really never that serious, so don't feel bad if life gets too hectic. :)

❧ i love to plot, headcanon, make playlists, the like. i'm also an artist (digital + traditional art and doll customizing), so expect some doodles if we become friends! i'll be the biggest fan of our ships and your oc. ooc chat is encouraged but not necessary. plotting is an absolute must, though.

❧ i don't have many limits and am completely fine with dark themes, especially given the mature content of AoT. but i'm not looking to erp. plot and story take priority always!

i’ll usually make a post if i’m currently looking to roleplay a certain ship, but i also take requests as well ! the fandoms i’ve make roleplay posts for in the past are all fine to request ships from !

My name is Finch ( yes, like the bird :p ), I'm 25 and non-binary , I have my A.D. in Applied Science , my major being Criminal Justice , and I currently work a full time job at a retail store .

I'm not new to Tumblr , however it's been a long time since I've been around . Life did it's thing and I just lost touch for a while . But now I am back , and ready to hopefully dip my toes back into writing in my free time. I will not always be super active , as I have a life outside of Tumblr / discord , but I will be as active as possible , whenever possible . Writing is my hobby , not my job ♡

I have been writing / role-playing since I was 13 , so I have extensive experience . I prefer to write in 3rd person , semi-literate to advanced literate , past-tense style . Shorter replies are totally fine with me , and sometimes preferred , but I really don't care either way , I tend to match my partner , and heavily prefer quality over quantity . Hello silly people in my phone that inhabit the world of tumblr. I've fallen down a crackship rabbit hole and it's giving me brain worms so I'm looking for anyone willing to do some My Hero Academia plots with me! I have the highest muse for Geten at the moment and would love to write him against Tomura Shigaraki (It came to me in a dream and now I'm a bit obsessed), but any canons you wanna throw at the ice boy are welcome!
