Happy 23rd Anniversary to Kingdom Hearts and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SORA━☆ﾟ.*

This series means so much to me and to show that.....I drew 50 Soras + the Heart Hotel peeps and my wrist hates me XD

Like seriously, I kept on finding Soras to add onto the already BEEG army and it kept going and going from the costumes, to creative liberty, to the more obscure ones.

So much passion went into this because KH is just a series that's near and dear to my heart, and Sora is without a doubt one of my favorite characters of all time~♡

And now that this little project is done, all I have to say is.....DONT LET THIS MAJORLY FLOP OK, I WORKED TOO HARD TO MAKE THIS DARN THING (jkjkjkjk just pls look at it at least, u can look at it better on my tumblr if ya want XD)

I wish people understood there was a way to go about your internet experience without making it about some sort of discourse 24/7. Very unhealthy.

if people understood that there's a way to just avoid things you dislike on the internet and not constantly engage with discourse and meaningless drama of/with people you don't even know, the internet and society itself would be almost unimaginably different.

Technology Connection’s video about algorithms brought up a good point, and it’s made me realize something.

In the video, Alec mentions how algorithms and AI allow people to offload their thinking, which is a real problem because it causes people to actually forget they have the power to think, learn, and discover things on their own.

Something he didn’t talk as much about, but I kinda connected the dots on, is that this applies to fun and leisure too. When you spend every hour of your free time on TikTok, Reels, Twitter, whatever… you’re offloading your fun, too.

And I guess the point of this post is to ask: What’s the point of living a life where you offload everything that you enjoy and that enriches you… but you have to be fully present for everything that makes you miserable (school, work, etc.)

And I don’t mean that in a suicidal, self-depreciative way. Just, like, we’re alive. A lot of us are going to be alive whether we like it or not, for many years to come. And if that’s the case, then why should we spend our few waking hours fully engaged with the things that make us miserable, but completely disassociated with the things that make us happy?

I know offloading thinking is a problem, and algorithms can be enticing, but imo more people should be aware that they aren’t engaging in the enjoyable things in their life. They’re using them as tune-out stimulus, and when you do that, enjoyable things become less enjoyable, and they become an apathetic consumption.

Therefore, you end up with a negativity bias in your life because everything that drains you is at the forefront of your mind, but everything that recharges and distracts you is in a dark corner, out of sight and out of mind.
