lindsay LOVES the hustle and bustle of the mall, although it's a completely different playground during the holiday season -- screaming babies unhappy to meet santa, frantic last-minute shoppers all trying to find that perfect gift, and everything in between. they happen to fall into all three categories ( minus the screaming and being unhappy bits ) !!

of all the last-minute shopping they had done thus far, lindsay holds the little bag from SANTA'S WORKSHOP with the picture she thought would be totally cute of she and mike with santa ( and she was right !! they look adorable !! ), and in her free hand is mike's, while he somehow manages to balance her in the mix of presents for other people, and things lindsay thought were too perfect to pass up for herself.

"are you sure you got all that ??" she asks, looking up at him with her head tilted. lindsay is a professional shopper, having been carrying bags upon bags of goodies since her dad gave her his credit card for the first time and let her loose at the mall with her sisters -- but she's also a professional princess, and can't help but think its VERY ATTRACTIVE of mike to hold her things for her.

"oh !! over there !!" lindsay's fingers are tucked into the crux of mike's elbow as she tugs him through the partygoers. the venue is packed, contractually obligated contestants in a room with each other when they would all rather be anywhere else, but not lindsay !!

christmas is linday's second favorite time of the year ( first, being bikini season, of course ), and she actually likes most of the other campers -- the ones she knows ( and even if there are old grudges, lindsay is more than civil with everyone ). but they aren't important at the moment. her eye caught on one of her favorite christmas traditions hanging in one of the doorways, one that many other partygoers seem to be avoiding like the plague, but not lindsay !!

she smiles up at mike because it all just seems EASIER and WARMER with him by her side, navigating people to get to what she wants, even though what she wants is already in her hands.

and to drive home that point, lindsay cups mike's face once they have reached the destination, once they are settled directly beneath the mistletoe, and she pulls him down to her so that she can press her lips to his. her lip gloss is candy cane flavored, and she's not sorry at all about the taste she gives him.

That moment when you get frequent phantom shifts as the main type of shifts u get and so when a non phantom shift comes around you fucking forget for a moment that having a shift without any phantom limbs either is possible

From last night about getting a vampire shift I think like a mental shift maybe I'm not too sure, but the general idea of the post could be any altertype so y'know

At least he was pretty sure that would be illegal. He wasn’t exactly invested in the competition enough to risk his life anyway. Who needed a million bucks when he had a million-dollar girl already in his arms? Someone this gorgeous didn’t come around every century, especially not someone who actually appreciated that he was damn fine too.

While looking online for unrelated alterhuman things, I came across an alterhuman wiki entry on the term "altertype". I never heard of it before but it mentioned this;

"Examples of altertypes include kintypes, linktypes, hearttypes, or other specific identities, such as otherlink or otherhearted."

If I am correct, it is like a catch-all term for any alterhuman 'types. I am not sure if this term will become more popular, but I might use it for myself. My current identity doesn't fit otherkin very nicely, I prefer to say nonhuman. I was still using kintype to describe it, though, as that was the only term I could think of for it. Altertype could be a nice term to use instead, not because I don't like kintype or otherkin as labels, but it feels like a term that covers more possibilities of identity.

Hello! I recently realised that I may be Alterhuman of some kind (Potentially Otherhearted? I'm not too sure since I do feel a somewhat strong connection to my altertype). Anyways, would it be okay if you draw my altertype? I'm an almost pure black lochfolk (Genshin Impact) with yellow markings, very light yellow eye and thresher shark tail.
