got a bunch of messy doodles!
I love drawing in the Lego Monkie Kid style, but I want to also develop a style that's more "mine" I'm still experimenting around what I like best; I'm not 100% sure yet.
I wanted to have 2 styles because:
1. It's fun to experiment around (even though the very first stage of figuring out how to draw a character can be frustrating, lol).
2. Last time I've drawn characters in a radically different style from mine (the sonic characters) for a long while, I went back trying to draw humans again and it sent me into art block immediatly, I felt like I couldn't draw humans anymore and I'm still struggling with it, so I don't want a repeat of that.
I think from here I want to try and add stuff to their designs. For example, on these sketches, I already added the turquoise lines under Wukong's eyes because I LOVE when people draw him with them. I also love the curly hair that resembles his nimbus that some people draw him into. I dunno if I want to implement that because I hardly change character designs too much; it was already hard for me to change Mac's and Wukong's colors for skin and eyes (I still want to slightly change Mac's eyes color, though).
Fun fact: I made the 2 doodles of Wukong looking down while I listening to Monster from Epic: The Musical. I dunno, it just clicked. I've been imagining Wukong singing it, lol.

Writing Tools for Planning Your Story
I've tried tons of writing apps and sites, so you don't have to. Here's a list of free sites to plot out your novel, with my review and some images of how I use it.
Milanote
Milanote is like having a giant pinboard with folders. You can upload anything onto it [yes even your main doc] and then draw over it or connect things with lines and arrows
Milanote lets you add up to a hundred things for free, not including drawing. This is one of the downsides of the site as I've found myself reaching that limit recently.
For me, the best part is being able to draw over stuff, and the color swatches.
Milanote is a lot less structured than other sites I've used, and personally, I don't think their templates are worth using.
8/10 overall, Milanote is what I mainly use. Here are some pics of how I use it:
Miro
Miro is a flowchart website mainly used for corporate jobs, however, it can be a great plotting tool for that reason
Miro has a lot of great starter templates if you are looking for a more structured freeform experience. It also comes with a blank page as well.
Unfortunately, I'd argue that it's a bit of a hard tool for beginners to use without a template, I've learned copy-paste is my best friend with Miro the hard way.
It's much better than most platforms at making timelines though.
It has a limit of three boards which is a bit disappointing but overall, I think it's worth the try.
5/10 Miro is very middle of the road for me due to the limited ability to customize things and the free limit. Here are some pics:
[I wrote that part weeks ago, I am now fully using Miro and believe it's the best for making timelines and charts, I just wish it let me make more boards 8/10]
Hiveword
This might be someone's jam, I can't really say it's mine though.
First off, the unpaid version is really just a few boxes saying "Write a summary here." which makes it just not worth it in my opinion
There really isn't any way to customise things which is my favorite part of most of these softwares
I've barely used this, so maybe there's something I'm missing but
1/10, Just use Google Docs at this point, here's a couple pics
World Anvil
People like this software, it's mainly used for tabletop, which is just a different way of writing adventure, and I've seen it recommended by authors.
Unfortunately, I'm going to disagree with a lot of people and say it's hard to use and isn't even really good at plotting.
I may be biased on this one as every time I've tried to use it in the past I've struggled. However, it seems like another just write it in a document and create a folder.
I'd say it's closer to an organizing tool, but even then just use something else.
3/10, I have nothing to say about it but maybe you'll enjoy it, all here are two photos
Campfire
This is the one I think I've heard the most about, but have never actually tried.
right off the bat, I'm going to say this is 100% worth it, you'll see at the end with the photos but this is like if Miro and World Anvil had an organization baby.
It's extremely easy to understand, and it makes timelines, it's more for writing your whole book but idk about that yet.
7/10, its themes are really pretty but it limits how much you can do to 20 I believe. Here are the photos
That's all for now, honestly, I think you should use Miro if you are looking to plot things out, and Milanote if you want to collect and organize your thoughts for writing, as that's what I do. Obviously what I like won't be for everyone, but hopefully, this helped you see some options

Man I am on a roll these days!
I love this doll base for the lmk characters, I actually drew some designs for the other lmk characters in this base in a notebook and as much as I would like to post them, Idk if that'll be any time soon.
I know in the show, Mk's headband is his signature. Even since childhood, I get that but I also saw a design of kid MK with him without the headband and fell in love.
Also he has light up sketchers. Cause why not.
It was a lot of fun doing the crayon drawings and seems like red and yellow are our lil prince's favorite colors, though it was a bit difficult to do them on such a small scale and at a slanted angle.
why does Mk have random building blocks?....
...
(I genuinely don't know)
Looking back, I do wish I made the toys a little more scuffed up cause while I do believe Pigsy would buy some toys and new clothes for his son the kid but I do love the idea that many of MK's old toys were hand me downs or at least second handed from Pigsy's past or even any cousins giving old toys or heck. Maybe some of Tang's university students found out their teacher has a new kid and give some old stuff to help out since Mk is a sweet kid and his appearance was quite spontaneous.
Perhaps that doll is a clone Wukong placed to keep an extra eye on the boy
BTW that love heart is NOT romantic in any way you creeps. Like how a child loves a toy, there is nothing weird happening here.
WUKONG IS HIS GODDAMN DAD/FATHER FIGURE AND IF YOU GENUINELY SHIP PEACHYNOODLES, GET OUT
OUT OF THIS HOUSE!
I try to respect different ships and opinions. I try my best.
But we see in the show, their father-son dynamic. I know there is a ship format of mentor x student but there is a clear parental relationship here!
It just feels icky, especially when you consider the inbalance of both power and experience in any 'romantic' context
Sorry, I just went on a tangent there, but hope you enjoy the actual piece and enjoy the easter eggs (>u ')/
(also out of curiosity, are any of you interested in the stopmotion film, Kubo and the two strings cause there might be a new au on the horizon!)

Here’s an short unsuccessful test I did today; attempting to create an animation in a program I quite literally have ZERO experience with using ahaha :’)
Storytime/long ramble (unimportant):
I wanted to be like the “cool kids” and shift out of my comfort zone—no more relying solely on FlipaClip! Gotta branch out to a more effective program (ideally one that has an interface resembling animation software used directly in industry work)! I’ve seen people make good use of AlightMotion and figured it’s worth a shot!….that goal quickly fell apart <<
There’s definitely a wide variety of tools and especially emphasis on built-in editing features. I was intimidated by the sheer amount of mechanics going on at first, but gradually you get used to navigating stuff (even if some stuff I’m still trying to figure out the purpose of lmao). The only issue is that (to me at least) AlightMotion seems to handle tweening better then frame-by-frame animation. Which immediately lands me in a predicament of sorts since uh…can’t say I’m good at tweening. That would require me to actually finish coloring characters/have the ability to polish things using clean linework :P
Tweening (from my perspective) is about making something visually appealing by rigging separated assets of characters (like you would for puppets) rather then the whole. Or alternatively, some people tween by slightly moving the same drawn lines around on a singular drawing…so TLDR the exact opposite of frame-by-frame. I’m not an illustrator, I’m a storyteller. I can only manage rough line work with uncolored motions. Usually the smooth flow of frame-by saves me, else it would all look rather unfinished. I know where my strengths and my weaknesses lie; I’ve given AlightMotion a shot, but unfortunately it’s not gonna be solving the FlipaClip replacement problem 🥲
Was still beneficial challenging myself to play around with an unfamiliar environment! It’s a step in the right direction to encourage myself to try different things/figure out what works or doesn’t. If my patience didn’t wear thin, I’m sure I could’ve attempted authentic tweening instead of trying to push the program to work with frame-by-frame (it kept crashing, lagging, and pixelating while I tried to force it to comply with my methods. Think it’s safe to assume it doesn’t like me fighting against tweening lol). Who knows! Might return to AlightMotion in the future or might not. Depends on how adventurous or up for a challenge I’m feeling :3

Also goes without saying that online video tutorials would have probably helped—I’m just stubborn & prefer taking hands on approach sometimes. Learning any new program is gonna be overwhelming and scary at first, it is normal! I don’t think anything bad about AlightMotion. Just not for me at the moment. Was fun to play with while it lasted

Currently in game dev as a student and I’ve been looking over your art and concepts for a little bit now—I’m FLOORED. I haven’t checked on your art in a while and had forgotten just how much it inspires me.
Your style holds so much identity, and your skill bleeds through every brushstroke! The way you do silhouettes, the insanely unique and beautiful choice of colors, the ferocity in some of the expressions, the quality of your brushwork, again the USE OF SILHOUETTE AND FORM OH MY GOODNESS!!!
You have SUCH a striking visual style and the way you incorporate similar themes to tie character designs together in your world is incredible! I was able to pick out what I believed to be symbolism and understand it a few seconds after asking the question (it may have been explained in the text and I missed it, but the fact that I was able to draw a conclusion that quickly says a lot about your skills as a designer and artist!).
Please forgive me if this has been asked before by the way, but what program do you use? I have a number of them and am trying to work out how you managed to get the line quality that you do on the brushstrokes (they’re like. Creamy looking??? Does that make sense? They blend together very nicely but don’t blend so much that it muddies the contrasting colors you put on top.)
Anyways as I was reading the game idea you have, I was actively trying to envision how it would look and was immediately feeling a 3D-2D mixed style, especially since your artwork has a very clear visual identity that would benefit from being the focus rather than something like plain or simplistic 3D models.
And then I immediately stumbled onto the low poly model you made and fell in love. I had already thought a Disco-Elysium inspired + low poly (less development time, plus requires less budget for an indie project) would look amazing especially considering how your brushwork means that high-poly models might not benefit nearly as much from it. And I think it might be the right call to continue with that!
What perspective (2D/platformer, 2D platformer with depth [Ex. “Paper Mario”] top down, isometric, 3rd person, 1st person, etc.) do you envision when you think of your game idea?
Personally I feel like it’d work as a 3rd person perspective 3D game, but using extremely low poly buildings and set pieces that let the textures do the work. But keeping in mind that if every character is 3D and rigged, it can and will still take monumentally more time to make.
I could also see it going the direction of having flat 2D characters in a 3D environment (Like “Smile For Me”) which would take less development time and save more energy to focus on good gameplay.
I’d love to hear more about your ideas, and think that you should definitely give more thought to making that game a reality!
Just as a word of advice though, start small. ;^^ Don’t begin with your dream project, make some goofy little games first to get your feet in the water, then dive in once you have that experience. And don’t get too wrapped up in it either, take breaks and divert from the project every so often to regather your creative energy. Like doing game jams for example!

first of all thank you for such a LONG text oh my god T_T I cannot express in words how much this means to me and even if I knew English well, I still wouldn't be able to tell you... I use drawpile a lot for sketches and light stuff like doodles! And Photoshop for more complicated works and render. If you need brushes I have them in this post on my side acc. As for ynstbh, well... Here goes the rambling haha. I was thinking about it being either 2d platfomer /LISA was my main inspiration at the start/ or isometric 3D thing. Isometric still wins in my head because it gives some space for movement in different planes, if that makes sense, my favorite example of it being player is walking through the City and at some point you see a tower on a foreground plane just getting up and running off the screen to ambush you later haha (yes, the City is like that. nothing unusual here). When this game idea first appeared in my head, I also wanted it to have some kind of frame, medieval-inspired, around the gameplay, that would change drawings depending on the location. But now I think that's gonna be too much visual noise. And I would love to make cutscenes because I like my 3d models and I like to animate stuff, although it would take an abysmal about of time to make backgrounds.. Also ynstbh would probably have a lot of dialogues, since I really love to show characters through their interactions with each other. Notably the Devil, who loves to break the 4th wall and look right at the player in his portraits.
Either way yeah, I know about starting small. Right now I only have experience in drawing, 3d, just a little bit of code (I think I forgot everything actually lol) and I'm just really good at googling problems. I hope somewhere in the future I will have enough energy to start. My lore and characters became really important and dear to me so I really hope to make sth with them. :) If game doesn't work out, I'm thinking to give an animated short a chance, I need to put this world somewhere or I'll probably go insane. Once again thank you and good luck with your studies! thanks for letting me ramble about ynstbh haha <3

my baskerville docs ^_^ ive seen alot of other people make their own lady baskerville and i wanted to try and have my own take on her yay. somehow i have settled on calling her liz, but i change my mind quite often so we'll see
more notes and further rambles below (LONG)
unfortunately i seem to be under a curse where i may only give out information through vague references and riddles + also thoughts jumping from one to another. have fun 👍take out a notebook it gets quite long. ive put down some section titles
naming ideas
for her name: i like how its has some phonetic similarities to iris. and i dont believe at all that yujin didnt know her; in japanese, 'l' and 'r' sounds are not distinguished in the same was as english thus: "liz, risu, airisu, iris... (ayame... ayame.) airisu... risu. liz."
but also her fanon - as in the common elements people have in their designs of lady b - designs look just like alot of the fanon designs for minecraft youtuber ldshadowlady. im having a lot of fun thinking about putting them in the life series.... boogieman curse.... the dogs.
this influences me quite a bit i think. primarily, how i characterise klint and liz is influenced by alot of gothic texts (and castlevania...........) as well as other people's interpretations of her. however they are are also lizzie and joel. and you are required to know this
talking about shapes (character design stuffs)
im kinda also working out klint and barok in context of my headcanons/takes. i think, with the design philosophy im carrying rn, i would draw them a little differently to emphasise the certain themes in my head lol. i gotta figure out some kinda shape motif for lady b tbh i dont really have too clear of an idea yet. at first, i thought a heart would be nice (connection with iris - i think a few other people have done so as well) but then The Spiral
ive been thinking of labyrinths quite often lately (house of leaves.) i like the symbolism of her spiraling down into some kind of madness / depravity as is the van zieks way. klint's sword points down to show the same thing. kid barok's hair goes upward. he look up to them. cute. this whole family is literally cursed
writing and truth
ive said this in some earlier posts somewheres but basically my main ideas for her are that
she and klint are trying not to become the sins of their parents. they succeed. but also fail.
barok is motivated by his sense of justice in the pursuit of truth. klint is the sense of justice. thus liz is the pursuit of truth
and ive landed on her being quite into writing. nothing ever published i think, but many volumes of poetry, short fiction and maybe even novels, with her favourite red ink pen. the same color ink that she used to write love letters with.
these works were probably things that she only shows to people close to her. and id think the subject matter would be something close to jane austen's work (critical of the landed gentry; she also published anonymously under the name 'a lady' -> i thought there was something in there about how lady b remains nameless and only a lady)
i think her writing would be a way to channel her frustration, anger, misery, and other such unladylike thoughts. perhaps, in childhood, she would have liked being a newswriter - until she finds out how sensationalized they are (and how would she feel when the news would start calling barok the reaper?)
i havent found a good way to incorporate this into her design yet. i was thinking something about the cape - hiding secret pockets and a notebook and pen? something about gender roles can play in there as well - but it looked too much like stronghart's silhouette imo. replacing barok's father figure while dressing like his mother would be crazy... and there is the swirls. im not too completely against that idea yet. think i gotta keep experimenting
resemblances
but anyways, i really do like the idea that she and klint look like they could be barok's parents. i think its fucked up (good). the gothic is all about how ur repressing somethings and it keeps coming out, and i kind of like themes of finding out the parent that you idolised isnt actually as good as you once thought they were.
you know about klint. and liz hates lying. but she is also just as great as a liar. she despises the social structures of upper class england, but she is just as wiling to maintain a facade, and has so much hatred that she hides. despite hating to hear it, she's really nosey - does she LIKE hearing about all those reprehensible things she claims to abhor? why else would they all appear in those stories she writes? and why else are all her protagonists such unreliable liars?
i think barok would grow up trying to model all the good that liz and klint try to project. hed probably thinks they would hate him after all that. maybe its comforting to know they also fell too. perhaps they would forgive him too.
i think thats all that i wanted to say. you will be hearing from me again, however. yay
#gosh how many words was that#hope you guys who read that enjoyed#i wonder if i even covered everything that i wanted to say. i know i did want to draw more but i realised it was far beyond the scope#lady baskerville#klint van zieks#barok van zieks#ace attorney#tgaa#tgaa spoilers#dgs spoilers#my art

Malleus Draconia - Smut Alphabet
A/N: These are my personal thoughts and Headcanons. You don’t have to agree with me. The original alphabet is here.
A - Aftercare = (what they're like after sex)
He's a natural! He cares for you deeply, wanting to make sure you’re okay after sex. He’s already drawing you a bath and pressing kisses across your face. Malleus lacks experience with this kind of thing, but he does treasure you. Sometimes he treats you as if you were glass.
“How are you feeling?” The moment he senses something is wrong he’s cuddling up with you. Looking you over for bites and bruises, any ailments he can cure and remove with a magical flick of his finger. Even while wearing such a stoic expression, you can see the tenderness in his gaze.
B - Body Part = (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partners.)
Malleus likes his horns the most. He likes when your hands run over the ridges, and how you reach out to them when he's on top of you. He likes when you pet and stroke the dark colored keratin. When you grip them tightly as a way to ground yourself.
Malleus adores your eyes the most. He loves the way you look at him. How he always meets your gaze, the way he can see every hidden emotion and thought you attempted to keep hidden. How each thrust inside of you causes you to flicker away from his face, how your eyes rolled up into your skull from pleasure. He is a big fan.
C - Cum = (anything to do with cum basically)
Malleus is the Creampie Captain™ he loves spilling deep inside of you regardless of if you are capable of being pregnant or not. I personally think that Briar Valley is very... Behind? Socially? If that makes sense. So contraceptives are all done via magic and condoms aren't something you can purchase in a store it's usually magic or some strange potion as a a way to protect yourself.
So introducing him to a condom is a very new experience for him! But I doubt he would agree to it without a little pouting. He wants to fill you up with his love. This piece of rubber is in his way!
D - Dirty Secret = (a dirty secret of theirs)
Malleus will not tell you this. He believes you would view him differently and he cannot have that! You are his precious Child of Man.
Because he is a dragon fae his body and it's cycles are very different from what you might be used to. There are fantasies he has where he takes you away to a cabin deep in the forest of Briar Valley. Using you as much as he wants during a state of rut. Having you all to himself. Breeding you full of his sperm until your full and the two of you are boneless and exhausted.
Even if you cannot bare children he is very into the idea of marathon sex with you. Completely vulnerable and an absolute mess. If he has to use magic then so be it! However this is a very tall order to request from you. A fetish he discovered during a late night read. He can't bring himself to ask... So he keeps it to himself.
E - Experience = (how experienced are they? do they know what they're doing?)
Malleus has been alone for as long as he can remember. The stereotypical virgin prince(ss). All of his information on kinky and thrilling sex he has gained through reading about it in erotic novels he had snuck into the castle. He is a very fast learner and has had lots of time dwelling over his personal fantasies he wants to try out with you.
He does have the basics of sex ed which was likely taught to him by someone his grandmother hired. Or Lilia gave him a slightly in depth run down on what is and is not okay for sex (consent and stuff like that) so... Very bare bones and him asking why he can't fill you in one thrust...
F - Favorite Position = (exactly what it says)
I think he prefers very plain missonary sex where he gets to be on top of you. Flattening you against his bed while grinding his hips into you. It's easy for him to kiss you this way and he gets to see all of the sexy facial expressions you make.
If he's very horny he wants to fold you into a mating press since the position helps him get deeper and deeper inside of you. Really he just wants to see your face and have the chance to kiss you.
G - Goofy = (are they more serious in the moment? are they more humourous?)
Malleus looks very serious. Sex is no laughing matter! If you crack a joke he will look up at you in surprise, falling still in confusion. Was it something he said or did?
He might start pouting, puffing his cheeks with his eyebrows knit together but he won't be deterred from the penetration. He just isn't much for humor during sex. But he does love you enough to accept your antics at least once or twice.
H - Hair = (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes?)
He is a dragon Fae and Malleus does have scales on his forehead. And I was enlightened to think that instead of pubes they would be smooth and ridged scales. You grind against him as a way to get off if you are fearful that his cock is too big for you.
But because he does have a human form maybe he has hair? Or the more human he is he has hair, and when he starts to change then he develops scales... I personally like the scales...
I - Intimacy = (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect?)
Malleus is cupping your face, kissing the soft cartilage of your ears, whispering about how much he loves you, all while slowly rutting into you!
Malleus sees sex as very intimate and vulnerable and he wants you to know that he cares in his own way! Even with his dick stuffed inside he wants you to feel how much he loves you.
J - Jack Off = (masturbation headcanon)
Malleus doesn't truly have an urge to masturbate. Being a dragon fae with such a long lifetime it doesn't really cross his mind. He sees masturbation as silly. He has you, there is no reason to use his hand! But if you are unavailable, he’ll stroke himself to the thought of you helping him.
K - Kink = (one or more of their kinks)
Malleus has an animal goo brain. So he loves breeding during sex. He was told that intercourse happens when two lovers want to start a family. And since he is the future king, that will happen very soon! He has no issues folding you like a lawn chair and pounding into you.
I do think that he has interest in brat taming. But not in a heavy BDSM way but he is the king and you are not so you need to listen to him. He is very vanilla usually, but if you refuse to follow his commands that's fine. He'll just make you.
L - Location = (favorite place to do the do)
Malleus is very vanilla with his interests. So he prefers the privacy of the bedroom! It is very romantic for him and the most exciting place. He would love to bring you to his castle to officially have sex with you there. But his dorm room shall suffice...
There are times he wants to make a move in Ramshackle... But your bed is so small and the building is so decrepit... He would rather you stay the night with him instead. He would teleport you so you don't have to walk.
M - Motivation = (what turns them on, gets them going?)
When Malleus is entering a state of rut, all you have to do is glance in his direction and he's excited. He wants to take you on every surface wherever he can. It's your fault for looking so lovely.
Normally he gets aroused when you take initiative or when you seem needy for his attention. He loves when you're whining about the lack of sexual attention he gives you since he doesn't notice the passage of time. He loves when you tease and prod hoping for his attention. He will apologize and give you exactly what you want. Throbbing in his pants knowing that you want him so bad.
N - No = (something they wouldn’t do, turns offs)
Malleus Draconia would NEVER entertain the thought of a threesome. He doesn't see any reason why you would need a lover/partner outside of him. Do not ask him or he will have the suspicion that you don't love him. Just the idea of being married into royalty.
O - Oral = (preference on giving or receiving, skill, ect.)
Malleus prefers to give than receive. He knows you need preparation to take him and he loves how you come undone all over his mouth and face.
But when you lick and bob your head along his shaft he feels like he’s going insane. Once he cums he’s ready to go again. Lick him, kiss him, squeeze him, over and over again he needs more and more and more.
P - Pace = (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual?)
Very slow and deep when he's thrusting. Happy to feel you clenching around him and squirming. "Oh Child of Man I can feel you squeezing around me." If you were misbehaving his thrusts will be short and shallow. He has far more willpower than you may think.
Once you start begging and pleading with some waterworks he'll give you exactly what you want.
Q - Quickie = (their opinions of quickies, how often, etc.)
Malleus sees quickies as pointless. Sex cannot happen in just ten minutes. There is foreplay and kissing and returning to a suitable location. If you are in dire need of sexual release he is happy to give you what you need, but he really has no desire to entertain the idea. Sorry if you're late to something important. All of your quickies become full on sex.
R - Risk = (are they game to excitement? do they take risks, etc.)
Malleus has an image to uphold and he cares about you enough to take into consideration that rumors could be spread. Especially over something as trivial as sex. If you offer to suck him off in class he will chuckle in amusement and instead of actually allowing it he would take you into a dream to enact the fantasy.
That way you can be as kinky as you want without either of you having any trouble.
S - Stamina = (how many rounds can they go for? how long can they last?)
Malleus is not a human so he has stamina beyond your comprehension. You do pick a safe word together since he could go for hours and hours but you cannot. So when you say it or tap at his skin quickly with an expression of discomfort he understands. Never disappointed or upset. He's actually very satisfied that you feel comfortable telling him that you can't take anymore. He always worries that you push yourself hoping to please him. And that's the last thing he wants.
T - Toys = (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themself?)
Malleus had a barebones introduction to sex when he lived in Briar Valley and he barely knows how to work his phone. Sex toys are far too advanced for him so it will be up to you to show him how they work and what they are!
He has no interest in anything beyond two buttons. A simple bullet vibrator or a plain silicone fleshlight will be plenty for him to work with.
U - Unfair = (how much they like to tease)
Malleus never intends to tease you it's always an accident. He doesn't mind that you have friends and you want to spend time with them. But there are times that he sees some of the students getting too close for his liking or making comments that he wouldn't deem as 'friendly'. Once he gets the chance, he leans in and whispers against your ear all of the things he wants to do to you once you're both alone. In very extreme detail.
V - Volume = (how loud are they? what sounds they make, etc.)
Malleus is very animalistic and quiet during sex. Lots of grunting and groaning as he fucks into you. He likes whispering how good you make him feel but he isn't very vocal during sex. When you tease him and touch him as his lovely little power bottom you can sometimes catch little green flames passing the corners of his lips.
W - Wild = (a random headcanon on the character)
Malleus actually loves when you express the desire to be held and be close to him. Especially after sex. He is the scariest person on campus and has been on his own for such a long time. So having someone he genuinely cares for reach out and cup his face and ask him to stay by their side makes him fall in love with you all over again. And it makes his dick hard.
X - X-ray = (lets see whats going on under those clothes)
I am torn between the double meat treat for Malleus. I think that because he is so talented with magic he can give himself two of them if he wants them. Long and thick, covered in ridges and frills. A semi greyish color matching his lips but it looks like a dusty rose color when he's erect and needy. He is aware that your anatomy is different and he is happy to accommodate you in any way that he can.
Y - Yearning = (how high is their sex drive?)
Malleus prefers the romantic part of your relationship over the sexual. Before you came into his life it was a once in ten year craving he had the older he got. He does feel more desire now that he has you, but it isn't something he pays much attention to.
There is so much more to you than producing an heir to Briar Valley for him.
Z - Zzz = (how quickly they fall asleep afterward)
Malleus has a very different sleep schedule from a normal persons. Usually he is up late studying so when you are clean and comfortable he will still be awake admiring your sleeping form! Eventually he falls asleep next to you, but he sleeps after you've fallen asleep and he wakes up before you do.

Hello. After drawing webcomics for 10 years and making about 10,000 pages of comics, here are some things i have learned/observed in that experience..
1) making comics does not get easier.. Not really
Making comics is a tedious and slow process and with so many different facets of the experience to learn - you’ll never run out of stuff to learn or weaknesses to work on. I’m not saying this to discourage but to just give the frank reality that it really takes a lifetime to understand. Be patient with yourself and try to set healthy expectations.
2) Read your own comics after making them.
I don’t know if this is as important to other people as it is to me, but I do think that sometimes its easy to not re-read your own work and just go from your own memory of it, or maybe you’re tired of looking at it because of all the flaws. I don’t personally get sucked into the “rewrite/remake” cycle that I know is common with comics, as I sort of just accept things as they are, but re-reading my work does help me see where I have come from and where I need to go to next. I personally don’t like to lose sight of that, and I think re-reading helps ground me in the planning process of my work and gives me a better perspective on all aspects.
3) A lot of comic advice should be taken with a grain of salt, because its the person talking to themselves. (including this)
I see a lot of advice that never would have worked for me, or just simply wasn’t something I was ever going to follow. “Dont start with your big epic long stories”! Is a common one. I don’t think that’s bad advice exactly, but how many young artists are going to listen, especially if they’ve never told a story in the first place? Yes, the advice to start small and build yourself up with experience sounds great, I’m sure people do it, but if you’re an artist you’re probably not gonna be that responsible. And for me, when i tried to do this with eggshells, my house burnt down and i kinda gave up comics for a while because i lost a lot of work.
Writing short stories is still something I struggle with, its just not easy for me. I have gotten better at it but i don’t think that makes me less of a comic artist because I haven’t gotten good at that particular format, or that I jump around on my projects. Is it more impressive to have more completed work under your belt, sure. But I also think that.. Idk.. what is the advice actually saying, because with that one it sort of feels (often times) as a warning that you’re setting yourself up for failure/embarrassment by attempting a comic like that. I don’t know how to tell you this, but comics are gonna be embarrassing no matter what you do and there’s no guarantee you’ll be more successful/not experience failure by avoiding your passions. Something to think about anyway.
4) Don’t draw every leaf. Unless you really want to.
I’m the kind of comic artist that kind of doesn’t care about the art as much as the whole package of the comic. When i see a very impressively drawn panel/page, with laborious detail that is well drawn and maybe even colored ect.. That usually is kind of, I guess, a turn off for me as part of the reading experience. The thing is, when i encounter that, it usually signals to me that someone has poor planning skills for comics. It says to me that comic is probably not going to see its end or that artist is overworking themselves in an unnecessary way, that ends up concerning me about how they’re doing. Because i know how hard it is to draw comics. When an artist phones things in a bit, or has a limit on how much they work on a page, its a relief for me to see! because I understand they have healthier boundaries and expectations, and the art itself usually is less stiff too. This is all an overgeneralization, but I think with a lot of webcomic artists we are usually drawing a comic for the first time ever, so it makes sense we want to do our best and try as hard as possible - that just usually isn’t the smartest plan to put all the stock in the visual department. This also kinda frustrates me to see because most comics (professional or not) will also (generally) not reel the art in ever or make a more simple style. Generally I see it always trying to outdo itself, which leads to burn out. I personally only work about 1hr on each page i draw, that hasn’t changed in the 10 years I have been drawing comics, but i used to spend hundreds of hours drawing detailed lineart for eggshells and it didn’t even read well and i’d be disappointed with the results, feeling more lost with my goals than ever. PLEASe.. Just draw worse, its usually better looking in the end too. (because you wont have the experience to judge visual clarity until you’ve been drawing comics for a while imo..)
5) Don’t draw ahead, draw those inbetweenies.
“Inbetweenies” are the pages for the “boring” ones. They are also usually the most common KIND of page. Its the pages that are necessary, but “inbetween” the action. The impact moments in a scene, ect. You gotta draw them. They’re always gonna be there. They’re the pages where maybe, the character is walking somewhere, thinking, ect. The after impact from an action.. There’s a million examples, but hopefully you’ll understand what I mean when I say they’re both necessary pages/panels, sometimes so mundane/redundant, but also required for telling the story.. As a comic is a sequence of images. This is why, the previous advice is also important IMO- because if you really want to “draw every leaf” - maybe you should save that energy and effort for those impact moments that you want to impress the reader with.. And not for the inbetweenies, which are the foundational support, but also not the most important moments. If you conserve your energy a bit, the contrast OF that effort will also pop more. I personally find it funny when I put more effort into a page and end up tricking my readers into thinking I got better at drawing, when really i just have been able to draw better and only save it for moments like this instead of always.
Also, when I say don’t draw ahead.. I mean I draw each page at a time before going to the next one. I have no idea if this is an unusual practice or not, and I know a lot of people will draw their chapters/episodes/whatever in sections like sketch/ink/color/ect.. But I personally draw and finish page by page, unless its the thumb/sketch stage. Even then, i don’t go ahead much. I think that you can control flow/pacing better by doing chapters all at once of course, I see that as a benefit. But i also think that makes things very overwhelming and can also result in a lack of flexibility if something isn’t working. No matter HOW much planning you do- comics are always going to have an aspect of IMPROVISATION with the result you get in the end. There are way too many factors in play to be in complete control of all of them and always know the result of the reading experience. SO for me, this technique is easier and has been something that continues to get me to working effectively. Plus, rumiko takahashi said that’s what she does. And i think she has some of the best visual flow/compositions in comics. So that’s what I do.
I could write more personal advice or rules that i follow..but I think those are the ones I find are the most important to me anyway. Of course, comics are a strange medium and not everything that works for me will work for you. That’s all for now.. Bye bye…!

Hi, we will be making comics and drawings about our experience. Usually more lighthearted ones because we'd not like to get too personal on the internet. Here are some alter stand-ins:
Extra Information about us, as context:
Guardian/Co-host in specific has a hard time talking/vocalizing in general, though has gotten more used to it over the years
Generally in casual conversation we'll use "I/my" instead of "we/our" unless it's specifically relevant that we're referring to ourselves collectively
also here's our pronouns i guess that's important. and also favorite colors too. also here's what we actually look like if you wanna know that
FAQ:
You can make a blog inspired by this one :-) No credit required
We do not have a headspace/innerworld/anything like that
We have mild differences in art style—elaborated upon here and here
update, never mind i guess we do have moderate art style differences it's really funny. here
Memory-wise, we don't experience time loss or mild amnesia or blackouts, we just get emotional disconnects between our memories. Or, well, we KIND OF get differences in memory recall/mild barriers for very stressful events? But other than that, no—elaborated upon here, here, and here
update, i guess we do get mild memory barriers for daily life too sometimes, I Have No Idea What's Happening—here
Here's what switching is like for us. also this too
Despite Our Art Style Apparently Making It Seem So, No, We Have Not Read Homestuck And Know Nothing About It. This Has Been Asked Several Times
Extra information about the blog:
this is not a personal/casual blog, this is for our system things. we have a main blog where we do post stupid stuff but it's Not This Blog—some sillier stuff does get through on here too so check the "#actualpost" tag for posts that we consider more serious/more system-relevant
very basic "question policy" here. we don't mind anon asks. additionally, this is not really an advice blog either [considerable difference between "asking us about our experiences" and "asking us for advice on your experiences] so any requests for advice may very well go unanswered if i can't figure out anything to say
I try to tag all of the asks as "ask" but Tumblr's being weird about it, so if you wanna go through the most of the asks i recommend you just go to our archive and sort the post type by ask
Singlets/non-systems can follow 👍

Hii!! I just am getting out of high school and since I am in a graphic design class and do art, my economics teacher suggested that I start selling my work and doing commissions. I know that your art isn't the same as that but I was wondering if you had any suggestions of how to get started is the art sphere? Like which platforms should I advertise my art one? The biggest one I have seen is Instagram and Tiktok but I am hesitant to use either cause of Instagram using your posts as AI training data and Tiktok being video content, which i am not interested in. Any input is appreciated!
Hi Hiiii!
Even though my art isn't 1:1 to this I do have some experience and thoughts about getting started. Graphic design (my profession) and Illustration/art (my hobby) are two very different spheres though, so I'll break down a couple thoughts on each. For graphic design, any kind of client work is going to start to get you ahead and also get you thinking about what kind of work you like doing/want to get paid to do. Since soooo many things fall under the umbrella of graphic design (packaging, logos, websites, events, branding, motion, marketing, etc etc etc) starting to make real things and figuring out how the elements all work together is super important. You don't have to be able to do everything, but showing and knowing which areas you can help a team with will be great for getting those initial internships and junior designer positions. This could look like anything from designing logos for family and friends, to making up a pretend coffee shop and designing what the cups and signs and instagram feed might look like all together. Maybe design a website or two. Have fun and get it posted to a portfolio website (there are a lot of free options). The more things you finish, the better your portfolio will get, and the more you will know. Done is better than perfect. Get scrappy. For illustration, my experience is mostly with social posting and convention stuff. Draw as much as you can all the time, fill your sketchbooks with fun and bad and ugly art that you enjoy making to get in the habit and get loose. Then just like for graphic design, work on finishing stuff. The more you finish, the more you'll figure out your process to finish things. Done > Perfect once again. Post wherever you want (i also dont like tiktok bc i dont make video/motion stuff, and i mostly just use insta for keeping other artists' contacts - i probably only post about 10% of what i make there, but it is a nice one to have.) From there, start offering cheap commissions or requests to get used to working with other people's ideas (I think i started with $5 sketches that i could do in 10ish minutes back in 2011). I don't do public commissions anymore, but I did for many, many years and making sure you're smart with your time is a big tip (its why the sketch/lines/full color + halfbody/fullbody character price sheets are so popular. An artist offering these knows about how long it takes them to draw each combination and sets their price accordingly, more time = more money). As for selling at stuff like conventions or art shows, start small! See if you can get space at a small local fair or art market! Make and sell 10 finished things. Don't set your heights on the biggest, most competitive stuff right off the bat, or try to manage inventory for 100 items. That can all come later.
The "art sphere" is kind of a crazy place, and there are infinite ways to approach getting started. You do you. These tips are mostly targeted at career-style advice, but plenty of people are just here to have fun, and it really is way easier to keep the passion alive when you're making/expressing stuff for just yourself - balance work and play!! The only thing we all have in common is a love for making things!
Good luck out there, and have fun!
#asks#im actually really bad at socials/social strategy tbqh#most my success comes from the fact that ive been posting since 2011 and have hundreds and hundreds of posts tied to this user#but the only time i post consistently is in the depths of a hyperfix#but all thats because this is a hobby#not my job#i do graphic design for ft work because i like making things so much and need to eat#but i do keep it separate from illustrations and comics#which are for more self-expression/destress than anything else#i hope some of this helps and is what you were looking for!

What has been your favourite art piece you have drawn? And your favourite character u have drawn?
AUGH I LOVE THESE QUESTIONS BUT IM SO INDECISIVE SO IM GONNA SHOW SOME OF MY FAVORITE WORKS ACROSS DIFFERENT MEDIA

This was my first creature art for the roblox game i’m helping on called Legends of Pandora, and it taught me a LOT about how to translate colors into my style

This was my first ever painting commission, and was the first time i’ve ever used gold foil and textures for paintings. Unfortunately I kinda got scammed with it, but the experience was still pretty awesome. I think the final products still looks pretty great in their room too!

This is one of a whole group of sculptures I made for my senior show for highschool! I graduated last summer, and wanted to try something new so I decided to go all out. I did sculpts, felting, and some wire art, but this cheetah is by far my favorite.
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE ART TRADE IVE DONE SO FAR!! I pushed myself a LOT with this one, I made a rendered piece with a dynamic pose, I actually tried a background for once, I tried drawing water for once, I used layer modes like multiply and lighten and stuff, and I even used a noise screen for it! This was a fun challenge

These were from a batch of my first time using Ink and paintbrushes andAHHH I honestly loved it. If i had the money for my own supplies, I’d absolutely use this again!!
THIS WAS MY FIRST 3D ENVIRONMENT!! I MADE THIS TWO WEEKS AGO AND I AM VERY PROUD!! I modeled EVERYTHING! Except the water but I taught myself how to set up the nodes for it!
AAANNNDDD my favorite character will always be Piper or Bentley, who belong in the same universe but aren’t directly connected (Piper knows Bentleys brother instead) She’s a goofball and I adore her, and all of the characters I made around her, Bentley and Maddox. Here’s some art I found on my phone.

The last one is terrible quality but i have no clue how to find the magma page i drew it on so oops. If you click on it it helps!
Also also if you meant character as preexisting character from some sort of media haha oops, i ran out of image space. I don’t often draw characters, but it’s probably art of Hancock from Fallout, who I used to teach myself new shading methods. Can you tell I try a lot of weird/random things and end up getting happy with how they turn out?
#art#design#wings of fire#dragons#oc#uhh what else do i tag here#idk#ramble#art dump#painting#traditional art#digital art#blah blah#it’s midnight i should go to sleep#verrix speaks

Hey, if you don't mind me asking. How was your artistic journey, I love your art and I've been struggling with improving. I try to study but then I get overwhelmed with all I have to learn and end up not studying anything. If you have any tips I would appreciate them. Have a nice day.
(Feel free to ignore/delete this if you want)
I'll try to give a few!
✶ Art analyzing videos
They are way less overwhelming than text and give way more visual information so they are easier to remember!
Since there are tons of Art analyzing and Art Theory videos it can be hard to decide which one to pick, I personally recommend to start with those that are analyzing well-known artworks (old and modern)
✶ Concept art
Also a great way to learn! Due to being sketchy and unpolished they are easier to break down than final pieces. They're great for studying the way experienced artists use shapes and colors (I recommend watching Art Analysis videos first and then study concept art because you will need to know to look for in it)
✶ Observe the art you like
If you found a drawing you like you can figure out what exactly you like about it and try to mimic it (just DON'T post your studies unless the artist gave you a permission to share an art inspired by them)
✶ Experiment
Try different styles, new bold colors you haven't used before, new brushes and textures, all of this will help you feel more confident when drawing and will give you lots of new instruments to create with
Also don't worry too much about not knowing all art theory stuff! You don't have to learn everything immediately, I've been drawing my whole life and I still don't know lots of things. Art's not about being correct it's about self-expression so be patient with yourself

How do you make your color palettes?? theyre literally gorgeous, I've been trying to do more bright "clashing" colors but they always clash too much
hi!! i may have posted this before so sorry if i sound like a broken record. i have three different ways i find palettes for my art.
method #1: sample from my own art is it because im lazy? yes!! a little bit!! but does it also work and give me a jumping off point for my art while keeping my art looking cohesive?? also yes!! i know of 4 recent paintings that all sampled and referenced each other. i'll post them below
if it aint broke dont fix it! also if youre experimenting with color and things just arent looking great go find an artist you like and sample from them. i dont condone copying or tracing art but drawing inspiration from your favorite artists by eyedropping their paintings so you can learn from them is in the okay zone for me.
method #2: just straight up using my favorite colors CONFIDENTLY i created this palette and i literally sample from it every time. i think a big part of making color look good is just being confident. if you zoom into some parts of my art there are definitely instances when things clash but i actually try to lean into those instances bc it creates a sort of unique eyestrain look. colors dont have to always play nice for a piece to work
i always use at least three colors from this palette to start (feel free to sample from this if youd like)
method 3 is kind of a last resort but it does the trick in a pinch: i take my reference picture and pump the colors WAYYYY up then sample from that. for this painting in particular i wanted to include a lot of green. admittedly green palettes are my worst enemy so i relied on this method to help me out here:
i like this method especially with my ref photos of nature because often i find that natural colors hardly clash and there are many harmonious undertones hidden beneath what at first glance looks like "just green" or "just brown" . pumping up the saturation with a photo editing tool brings all those hidden colors to the surface while keeping them somewhat harmonious
i hope this helps a little bit! ive never taken a color theory class or anything so i wish i could give more technical advice about color relationships and stuff like that but mostly i just.. use the colors that i love most, which may be a good place to start ⚡

Hello! Sorry to bother but do you have any digital art tips? I’m quite new to it and any tips, tricks or advice would be helpful! Your coloring style is very beautiful and I love it a lot!
thank you! 💚💚💚 sorry this is a bit late, hopefully there's still something helpful in it!
(also, it got pretty long, sorry!)
I think the biggest thing is to just take things slow -- digital art feels different than drawing traditionally, and it's SUPER easy to get overwhelmed by the billions of cool features that the digital world offers. (I say, as someone who spends a lot of time downloading cool brushes and textures...and then never using them ever.) there is a ton of really cool stuff you can do digitally, but because there's so much, I think it's really important to take time to figure out what is and isn't working for you. spend some time doodling without any intent to do a finished piece, figure out how you like to hold (or not hold) your tablet, what keyboard shortcuts you end up using a lot (and therefore might want to map to your pen/tablet buttons for quicker use)...that kind of thing!
everyone's workflow and preferred program and style are different, so it's hard to give hard-and-fast general advice. but the things that I think of as the essentials for learning digital art programs, and what I think of as a good order to focus on learning them in (although YMMV, especially depending on what kind of art you're doing):
brush customization (e.g. flow, opacity, softness)
layers and layer masks
selections and transformations (e.g. scale, rotate, flip horizontal/vertical, skew) (skew is underrated and I will die on that hill)
blending modes (e.g. multiply, screen)
adjustments/adjustment layers (e.g. hue/saturation, curves)
and I think most stuff after that is gravy! often very good gravy though! but yeah, as overall advice I recommend just taking things one little bit at a time, spending some time just drawing and messing around with each feature and what you can do with it. whether or not you end up incorporating any of it into your workflow, it's always good to try things out and just see how they feel! :D
and just so there is at least a little more concrete helpfulness in here, here's a few more specific things that I think are super important to keep in mind!
use! your! tablet/pen buttons! I mentioned this earlier, but they are extremely useful for keyboard shortcuts that you use often! most programs will also let you create new shortcuts for other things -- personally, I use the magic wand tool to fill in big color blocks a lot, so I made shortcuts for 'expand selection' and 'fill' and then mapped them to my tablet buttons.
flop your work horizontally often! when you're working on something, you get used to the way it looks, so seeing it mirrored is a quick way to see it with fresh eyes! in my experience, it often feels like this:
(a common thing is to find that everything is sort of 'leaning' too much one way, which is where skew really comes in handy!) (seriously, I love skew, it is my savior)
if you're working with color, keep a hue/saturation adjustment layer (or a layer filled with black or white and set to Color) on top and toggle it on occasionally to check your values! a lot of people who know a lot more about color than me (and are better at putting it into words) have written about why values are so important, so all I'll say is that the rule of thumb is that your image should still be readable in greyscale:
there are some exceptions and grey areas (do ho ho), but it's a good general rule to keep in mind! (some programs also have a colorblind mode, so you can check to see how your work will look to someone with colorblindness!)
and finally, here's some digital art programs I recommend, if you're still looking for a good one!
free: krita, FireAlpaca
paid: ClipStudio, Procreate (iOS/iPad only)
#art#...sort of#horizontally flipped mal isn't my favorite drawing i've ever done of him#but it's up there#anyway i do personally use photoshop#but i absolutely do not recommend it when there are better and free-er art programs out there#it is the equivalent of texting with a giant 90s-block phone that has been jury-rigged to somehow install whatsapp#because i don't NEED a new phone i KNOW how to use this one it's FINE#(oh god i've become my dad)#someday i will have to actually switch to clipstudio and learn new keyboard shortcuts :(

WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S 2024?!?!
next, you're gonna tell me it's gonna be some made-up year like "2025" next. tch, imagine that.
anyways, whoo! 2023! compared to both 2022 and 2021, i gotta say, my art style took a hard swerve in some direction this year. i mean, look at that klavier from january and that butch kim from just this december! (granted, i heavily referenced the portrait of butch kim but still, i didn't use to paint! mama mia!)
---
the way i drew faces has definitely changed, that's what i get for getting into something that's live-action and into smth that has realistically proportioned art lol
OH! OH! HOW COULD I FORGET!!! IT WAS (and still will be) THE YEAR OF THE OLD MAN!! i really learned how to draw aged faces this year! ach fraulein, i have not stopped drawing people in their 40's-50's! i would say "send help" but i'm actually having a lot of fun ASKSKS
---
i think a funny thing about these art summaries i've done is that they're mostly ace attorney but then there's just a month where i become a different type of ill LMAO this year it was four months for the price of two new interests!
cheers! here's to 2024!!! hope y'all have a fun art year!!!!
---
i'm gonna ramble more below about like, other art things i did this year but i'm gonna put it under 'keep reading' bc this baby is getting way too wordy now WHEEZES
1. FAVORITE THINGS I'VE DRAWN THIS YEAR (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)
⚖️ mea culpa comic [x]
drawing this one was so time-consuming and ambitious but boy, do i love the end result! i had fun doing the inks for this one but was it a lot! i usually color in lineart and render everything but i had to stop myself from doing it for this one bc man, i'll die asksks
this also has some of my favorite apollos i've drawn, definitely
also! the part about the lineart not being colored and no rendering ended up being a deliberate stylistic choice for this one bc i had like more freedom to do just shadows with inks without it looking too out of place.
💐 my lawfully wedded zine spread [x]
now this one isn't out yet but take my word for when i say that this is one of the most craxy things i've ever drawn for this year, on account of drawing a comic AND group shot all in one!
also literally one of the prettiest things i've rendered this year, lookit that klav...
🎉 aa4 redraw - 2022 anniversary [x]
kind of like my wedding zine piece, group photos are insane, and rendering like uhhh [looks at drawing] 11 CHARACTERS IS ALSO INSANE if i try and draw a group photo again you have to stop me DFGHDJ
🎨 my art fight stuff [x] [x]
was possessed in the month of july or smth bc i pumped out like how many drawings so quickly (before i got burnt out that is pftt)
pace yourselves and don't be like me pls ajshgdghhjk
💥 people park day [x]
my friend told me that it was very obvious i watched across the spiderverse when they saw this FDFGHJD
but yea! this is when i started getting really into like, thought bubbles or just like, panels or drawings within a drawing when coming up with layouts
i still love the colors on this one...
🪩 fem disco portraits
ok so i haven't uploaded these yet but you have to trust me when i say that something was in the water DFGHDJ
who knew that all it took for me to learn how to paint was butches
2. ALSO DID YOU KNOW THAT I SOLD STICKERS THIS YEAR IN OUR UNI'S ART MART?
THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THAT SCHOOL I SWEAR PFTTT this experience has also awaken the merch beast in me and i need to make more physical things for my brain to be happy, that's just how it be pfttt
hopefully next year i can actually start like a shopee shop or whatever lmao
3. ART FIGHT
i'm actually quite happy i got to participate in art fight this year! very delighted for all the art i've gotten and very fun to have drawn for others too!!
4. ZINES
i got invited and joined so many zines from 2022 continuing to 2023 that i kind of got burnt out from participating for now ngl ASKSKSKS not gonna be joining much this year oopsiessss! (unless i lose self-control [very likely])
5. SCHOOL

i don't actually like a lot of the stuff i draw for art school bc i tend to cram and not have fun pftt <- adhd moment, tragic! but here are some that i actually kind of like lol
6. THAT'S IT!
i think that's it! thanks for reading all the way down here!! o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ
