What deck do you use for your everyday carry deck?
It depends on the day, but my best decks are either any of my Runick combo versions from Orcust to Live Twin Spright or Melffy Tri-Brigade. I've been running Orcust Runick lately and really enjoying it for it's great grind game that the Runicks help to facilitate. Though I've been thinking of picking up the Purrely deck now that it's almost literally pennies, which would then make it my strongest deck. My daily driver if you will.

There are few things in the wizarding world more terrifying than Lord Voldemort.
Walburga Black’s parenting style was one of them.
You, unfortunately, were well acquainted with both—though only one ever screamed about “shame upon the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black!” at seven in the morning while launching a soup ladle across the kitchen.
Spoiler: it wasn’t Voldemort.
“Do not slouch. Do not mumble. And for Circe’s sake, do not fraternize with Weasleys,” she’d hiss, eyes gleaming like cursed galleons. “Blood traitors, the lot of them!”
Naturally, the first thing you did at Hogwarts was sit beside Fred Weasley on the Hogwarts Express and fall a little bit in love when he spelled your pumpkin juice into Butterbeer and gave you the cheekiest grin you’d ever seen.
“Black, huh?” Fred said, raising an eyebrow when he asked your name. “Sirius’s kid?”
“Unfortunately.”
Fred grinned, and that was the beginning of it.
── .✦
Your Hogwarts years passed in a blur of dungbombs, secret passageways, and Fred Weasley pretending he wasn’t deeply and irrevocably in love with you (and vice versa, though you were slightly better at hiding it… marginally).
He knew about Walburga, of course. Knew about the letters she’d send you in Howler form just to tell you your socks didn’t match and that you’d brought shame upon the entire line of Phineas Nigellus. Knew about the summer breaks at Grimmauld Place, which felt less like home and more like a haunted museum where the exhibits yelled at you for breathing too loudly.
Fred never made fun of it. Not once.
But he did send you an owl every day you were there—sometimes with enchanted origami dragons that breathed glitter, sometimes with snarky illustrations of Walburga dueling a teapot labeled ‘progress.’
Sometimes he just sent jokes.
Sometimes, it was just: Thinking of you. Hang in there, love.
Those were your favorite.
── .✦
One night, in the middle of summer before seventh year, Walburga had shouted at you for daring to laugh during dinner (“Laughter,” she declared, “is for half-bloods and fools!”) and you’d stormed into your childhood bedroom, shaking with silent rage.
Moments later, Fred apparated into your room without warning.
You nearly hexed him out of his socks.
“She yell about forks again?” he asked, holding up a paper bag of Honeydukes sweets like it was a peace offering. “Or was it the wallpaper this time?”
You didn’t answer.
You just folded into him like a wave crashing into shore.
“Why do you even care?” you muttered against his chest, voice thick with exhaustion and sugar quills. “You don’t have to keep saving me, you know.”
Fred didn’t laugh. Didn’t joke.
He just looked down at you and said, “Yeah, well… James was there for Sirius. Someone’s gotta be there for you.”
You blinked up at him.
And Fred, ever so softly, added, “Except I’m not planning on being just your best mate forever, if that’s alright with you.”
You stared at him.
He shrugged, sheepish. “I mean, unless you’re keen on letting some Ravenclaw steal me away with her O.W.L. notes and emotional stability—”
You kissed him. Right there. In front of the hideous velvet drapes and the ghost of Walburga’s most recent complaint.
Fred pulled back, stunned. “Was that… a yes?”
You grinned. “Unless you’re keen on being hexed by a Black.”
He cupped your face, gentle but sure. “Wouldn’t dream of it, love.”
── .✦
Years later, you’d look back and laugh at how your relationship bloomed in a house that actively tried to kill joy with doilies and judgement.
And when Fred proposed to you right in front of Walburga’s portrait—grinning like a madman as the painting shrieked in the background—you said yes with a smug little smile and a defiant wink toward the screaming canvas.
If Walburga Black could roll in her frame, she would’ve.
And Merlin, it was glorious.

her previous albums:
album name: woodvale (first studio album)

about: With her debut album Woodvale, Y/N establishes herself as a masterful storyteller, blending deeply personal experiences with vivid narratives that feel both intimate and universal. From the very first note, she invites listeners into a world of nostalgia, heartbreak, and longing—where past and present blur, and every lyric feels like a carefully crafted confession.
Pulling inspiration from her own life, she weaves a cinematic experience through her songwriting, turning quiet moments into emotional landscapes. Tracks like “The 1” and “Cardigan” capture the bittersweet ache of what-ifs and lost love, while “The Last Great American Dynasty” expands her storytelling beyond herself, painting a rich portrait of a life lived wildly and without apology. The dueling perspectives in “Exile” (feat. Bon Iver) bring to life the unfortunate disconnect between two people who once understood each other completely--the song feeling like a conversation between two ill-fated lovers.
Her ability to capture emotion through complex lyricism is undeniable. The haunting “My Tears Ricochet” and the aching surrender of “Tolerate It” showcase her raw vulnerability, while “Mirrorball” reflects on the exhausting performance of always trying to be enough. She shifts effortlessly between different lenses—nostalgic and dreamy in “Seven”, reckless and longing in “August”, and unapologetically bold in “Mad Woman”.
But Woodvale isn’t just about heartbreak—it’s about self-discovery. “Willow” traces the pull of fate, while “Tis’ the Damn Season” and “Illicit Affairs” dive into brief love and the temptation of what’s never meant to last. “Cowboy Like Me” tells a story of two outlaws in love, pulled in by deception and desire, while “Betty” unfolds a tale of regret and redemption with the emotional weight of a late-night confession. Closing the album, “Hoax” leaves listeners with a quiet devastation—the realization that even the most painful love can still feel impossible to walk away from.
Through it all, Y/N proves that she is not just a songwriter but a storyteller in the truest sense. Woodvale is a world of its own, rich with characters, emotions, and moments frozen in time—an album that lingers long after the final note fades. A stellar debut from an artist who refuses to be confined by expectations, Woodvale is more than just an album—it’s an experience, a testament to the power of storytelling, and the mark of a rising star whose voice has already touched so many hearts.

album name: is it over now? (second studio album)

about: Following the success of her impressive debut album, Y/N returns with her deeply personal sophomore album, Is It Over Now?—a raw, unfiltered reflection on love, betrayal, and the painful process of letting go. Split into two distinct halves, the album untangles the emotional wreckage left behind by a five-year relationship that was never what it seemed.
For years, she believed he was the one. He was charming, adored, and in the public eye as much as her, if not more—an actor (literally and metaphorically) who knew how to play his part. Even after the first betrayal, she clung to his promises, convincing herself that love was worth the risk. That he was worth it all. But when the lies continued and his betrayals became a spectacle for the world to see, she was forced to confront the truth: this wasn’t love. It was manipulation, disillusionment, and a lesson she never wanted to learn.
Side A: Confusion & Denial captures the internal battle—clinging to the good memories, questioning everything, and trying to convince herself that things could still be recovered. From the restless anxiety of “Out of the Woods” to the desperate plea of “Say Don’t Go,” she narrates the emotional highs and lows of a love that was always on the edge of collapse. But then, there’s "Opposite"—a moment of raw, painful clarity. In a bold move, she takes the risk of directly acknowledging his unfaithfulness, comparing herself to the other girl in a way that’s both heartbreaking and self-destructive. It’s the sound of a realization hitting all at once—that she was never what he truly wanted, that she spent so long trying to be enough for someone who was always looking elsewhere. The lyrics cut deep, the delivery is haunting, and for the first time on the album, she stops trying to rewrite the past and instead forces herself to see the truth.
It’s the turning point of Side A—the moment where the illusion starts to shatter, even if she’s not quite ready to let go yet.
Side B: Realization & Mourning is where the heartbreak settles in. With “You’re Losing Me” and “loml,” she accepts that the love she fought for was never real—just an illusion she refused to see. He promised her the world, giving her all the love she could've ever wanted, and she fell for it. But when he took it away, she got lost, she fell through and drowned. The ballads on this side are devastating in their honesty. "The Great War" paints this love as a battlefield, a war she fought tirelessly only to realize she was the only one still fighting. "The Moment I Knew" captures the exact second everything changed, when she could no longer lie to herself. And then again, there’s "loml"—possibly the most gut-wrenching track of them all and an album highlight. It’s not just about losing someone she loved, but losing the future she once saw so clearly. The title alone is a painful contradiction—love of my life—but he wasn’t, not really. He was the love she thought would last forever, but instead, he became a lesson, a ghost of what could have been. In the album's final track, “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” she looks back, no longer grieving the relationship, but regretting everything, and mourning the version of herself she lost in it.
After battling for her voice in the industry less than a year before working on this album, she never expected to have to fight for herself in love too. But Is It Over Now? isn’t just about the destruction—it’s about survival. It’s about facing the truth, even when it’s painful, and finding the strength to finally walk away despite the painful ache in your heart.
Where Woodvale introduced her as a masterful storyteller, Is It Over Now? proves just how versatile she truly is. Sonically, this album expands far beyond the dreamlike, folk-infused melodies of her debut, diving straight into a more dynamic and emotionally, even pure pop charged production. From the explosive, frantic energy of "Out of the Woods" to the stripped-down devastation of "loml", every track is carefully crafted to match the emotional weight of the lyrics.
She experiments more than ever before—incorporating synth-pop with raw, heartfelt ballads, balancing soaring vocals with moments of quiet destruction. It’s proof to her ability to evolve, to push her sound in ways that feel both unexpected and inevitable. With this album, she’s taking control, writing her own ending, and proving that she is far more than just the girl who got her heart broken.

What led up to her meeting Joe?
After barely surviving the worst breakup, betrayal, and fallout of her life, Y/N was left shattered. She had already spent an exhausting year fighting to prove herself in the music industry—drowning out accusations that she was just a "one-hit wonder," an "industry plant," or that she only made it because of her "connections." She was constantly battling for her place, for her voice, for respect despite breaking records and adding beautiful achievements to her name. And just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, the breakup happened.
It was everywhere—plastered across every screen, magazine cover, and news report. There was no escaping it. Her ex, in a desperate attempt to salvage his own reputation, spun lies and manipulated the media, trying to paint her as the villain to cover up his own repeated affairs. It was humiliating, exhausting, and isolating. She didn’t know who to trust, how to navigate the relentless scrutiny, or if she would ever truly escape the shadow of it all. Her mind was a madhouse, filled with thoughts such as, "it was all my fault" or "i wasn't enough. i'm never enough", and even "what he did was right. i'm not worth it".
She was drained. Tired of fighting. Tired of proving herself. Tired of trying to find solid ground when the world seemed determined to pull her under. Tired of trying to find someone who would reciprocate the love she gave. Music was her outlet, and then came this album. It was met with immense criticism and skepticism because of the way her ex was running the story in the media, but as much as that destroyed her, she couldn’t show it. This was her work, her passion, her love.
Before she drowned in those hellish waters, she felt a hand reach down and pull her back up.
Joe.
It wasn’t really an instant fairytale. She had spent so long being burned by people who claimed to love her, by an industry that made her question her worth, by a world that had watched her heartbreak like it was a scripted drama. She didn’t trust easily—not anymore.
But Joe was different.
He was patient. He never asked for anything, never demanded pieces of her she wasn’t ready to give. He saw the walls she had built around herself and never tried to tear them down—he simply stood outside of them, waiting, showing her in quiet ways that he wasn’t going anywhere.
He was steady. In a world that never stopped spinning, he was the one thing that didn’t waver. He understood what it meant to be under a microscope, to have people expect you to be perfect, to never show weakness. But with her, he didn’t pretend. He let her see the exhaustion behind the confidence, the weight of the pressure he carried. And in return, he let her be real too—no cameras, no expectations, just her.
He didn’t see her as a headline. Not as the girl in the tabloids, not as the singer everyone had an opinion about. He saw her—really saw her. The way she overthought things, the way she tapped her fingers against her leg when she was anxious, the way her eyes softened when she talked about music. He listened, not just to respond, but to understand.
He never pushed, never asked her to let him in before she was ready. He just was—constant, unwavering, a presence she didn’t realize she had been missing until he was there.
And slowly, something shifted.
She started to believe again. In herself. In love. In the idea that maybe, just maybe, she was never as alone as she thought.
With Joe, she discovered what love truly was. It wasn’t the whirlwind promises or the flashy gestures, the "I’m going to marry you" act that her ex had put on for so long—those grand declarations that ultimately meant nothing when they were just empty words to cover up his lies. Joe didn’t need to put on a show. He loved her without needing to perform for her, without any manipulation or games. He showed her that love didn’t have to come with conditions. It didn’t need to be proven with flashy promises or grand, public declarations—it was in the quiet moments, the consistency, the way he would show up for her without hesitation.
In the past, she had been so caught up in the illusion of what love was supposed to look like—the idea that if someone truly loved you, they would chase you, claim you, make bold promises about the future. That’s what her ex had given her—the "I’m going to marry you" act that, in hindsight, was just a performance, a way to keep her tied to him while he continued to betray her. It was about control, not love. She had gotten lost in it, thinking that because he talked about forever, it meant forever was guaranteed. But she had learned the hard way that promises made in the heat of a moment could be shattered with the same ease as the person who made them.
Joe showed her love was different. He didn’t just say the words—he showed them through actions, through trust, through patience. There was no rush, no need to lock her down or convince her she was his. He never pressured her into any promises, never made her feel like love came with deadlines or expectations. He simply loved her for who she was, not for the version of herself she thought she needed to be.
He knew she was for him. He didn’t need her to figure it all out overnight—he was willing to give her the space to heal, to trust again, to find herself in a relationship that wasn’t defined by pressure or insecurity. And slowly, piece by piece, she started to feel it too. She started to trust that this love wasn’t momentary, that it wasn’t built on promises made for the wrong reasons. It was steady, real, and above all, it was hers. Joe had never tried to rush her, never pushed for more than she was ready to give, and in return, she slowly began to realize—he was the one she’d been waiting for all along.
But there was still a part of her that couldn’t shake the weight of her reputation. After the public breakup and the media circus that followed, she felt like every move she made was under a microscope. Her reputation was in the dirt—scrutinized, distorted, and painted with all the wrong colors. The tabloids fed off her heartbreak, and her ex had done everything in his power to tarnish her name, making her feel like her worth was wrapped up in what the media said about her. She couldn’t escape the whispers, the judgments, the assumptions that followed her every step.
But then, Joe showed her something she hadn’t realized she needed: he loved her because of her. Not because of the persona the world had made her into, not because of the reputation she was forced to wear. He loved her for the person she was behind all of it—the one who laughed too loud, the one who stayed up late making music, the one who cared deeply and unapologetically. He didn’t care about the headlines. He saw past them, past the layers of gossip and scandal, and loved her for her heart.
And that’s when it clicked. Slowly, she began to understand that her reputation wasn’t defined by the media or the public. She didn’t have to be a product of what people thought of her. She made her own reputation. She wrote her own story. With Joe by her side, she realized that she could be more than what the world had decided for her. She could rewrite her narrative, build her legacy, and finally, feel at peace with who she truly was.
When and how did they meet?
July 4th. The Hamptons.
A party she really didn’t want to go to. Especially not while being the talk of the town…for all the wrong reasons. There were no friends, nobody she felt like she could talk to or lean on for the night, but according to her team, it would be good for her reputation if she was seen acting unbothered, happy, and fresh, even though she was far from it.
She almost backed out last minute, knowing the media would be there, waiting for any sign of weakness. But, as always, her team had convinced her it was the right move. So, reluctantly, she walked into the crowd of people, putting on the mask of someone who had everything together—when, in reality, she was falling apart inside.
She tried to keep to herself at first, avoiding the cameras and trying to stay away from conversations that felt like traps. It wasn’t long before she found herself standing by the railing, looking out over the water, trying to escape the noise and the pressure. And then, there he was.
Joe Burrow.
He wasn’t like the other people at the party. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone or play any part in the show. He just stood there, leaning against the wall, his eyes calm and steady, as if the whole world didn’t exist except for the moment they shared. And maybe, just maybe, that’s what drew her to him—he seemed unaffected by the world around him.
When their eyes met, she felt something shift inside her, but she couldn’t quite place what it was. He smiled, just a small, genuine smile that seemed to say, “I get it.” Without any words, he made her feel…seen.
She knew of him, but not too much about him. He was a star in his own right—one of those people who seemed to exist in a different world, far from hers but also so incredibly close. She had heard his name, seen the headlines, but the details never really stuck. At least, not until that night.
But him? Oh, he knew more than she realized. He’d never admit it, but he’d definitely spent more time than he’d care to tell scrolling through her Instagram page, his finger hovering over the follow button more times than he could count. There was something about her that pulled him in—something in her eyes, her story, the way her music resonated with him in a way he hadn’t expected. He admired how she carried herself, how she navigated everything thrown at her with a grace he couldn’t help but respect.
They ended up talking, first about something insignificant, just filling the space between them but eventually agreeing that small talk felt too calculated. That's when the conversation quickly flowed into something deeper. She felt comfortable with him in a way she hadn’t felt with anyone in a long time. She talked about the media storm she’d been in, about the pressure she was facing, and he listened, really listened. There were no judgments, no comments about how she should act, no advice on how to handle her image. Just quiet understanding.
And then there was her beauty. He couldn’t deny it, no matter how hard he tried. It wasn’t just the kind of beauty you saw in photos or on red carpets. It was the kind that lingered, the kind that came through in the smallest moments—the way she laughed, the way her eyes lit up when she talked about something she loved. There was a depth to her that went far beyond her image, and that was what drew him in.
She was too cautious, too guarded. But in that moment, she saw something in him she hadn’t seen in anyone else for a long time: a genuine connection, a space where she could be real. Slowly, very very slowly, she let herself open up, and for the first time in a while, she didn’t feel like she had to pretend. Even though she was only opening the door a crack, it was more than enough for Joe to understand her.
Joe wasn’t trying to fix her or be her savior. He wasn’t even trying to impress her. He was just there. And somehow, that was enough.
They left the party together, not because they had some grand plan but because, in each other’s company, they found a sense of peace. That night marked the beginning of something neither of them could have predicted—but something that felt right.
----------------------------------------------------------
And then, in the blink of an eye, they went from two strangers who had been through hell and back, to two souls who connected and found each other when they needed each other the most.
It wasnt anything like a grand or dramatic revelation...it was quiet. Subtle. But in those moments, in the way they spoke to each other, the way their worlds just fit, something clicked. They had both walked through their own storms, faced battles that left scars, but now, they were standing together, joined by the unspoken understanding of what it meant to fight and survive.
In him, she found someone who could see her for exactly who she was—no duplicities, no expectations, just her. And in her, he found a strength he hadn’t realized he needed. It was like they had been written into each other’s lives, without even knowing it.
And that’s when he became her muse.
Her heart, her story, her music—all of it began to reflect him, not in the obvious ways, but in the quiet, soulful details. The way he showed up for her, the way he understood her without needing to explain everything, began to pour into her songs, her lyrics. She started to write not just about her pain or her past, but about something new—a love that didn’t need to be perfect to be real, a love that gave her the freedom to be herself.
He inspired her, not by trying to be someone she needed him to be, but by simply being who he was—steady, patient, unwavering, loving. In that, she found the courage to open her heart again, to let someone in without fear of what the world would say.
And in the way he loved her, she found herself again.
----------------------------------------------------------
album name: reputation (third studio album)

about: Reputation isn’t just an album—it’s a statement, a love story, a resurrection. It’s the sound of someone who’s been torn apart by the world, stitched herself back together, and come out stronger than ever.
The first half of Reputation is fire and fury. A continuation of Is It Over Now?, it picks up the shattered pieces of betrayal and weaponizes them. She isn’t just mourning anymore—she’s setting the record straight. It begins with "…Ready For It?", a pulse-pounding, electrifying opener that feels like stepping into the arena, lights flashing, heartbeat racing. It’s the sound of someone who’s been through hell and come out stronger, faster, untouchable. She’s setting the stage, daring anyone to come for her again—because this time, she’s ready. "Cassandra" also opens the album like a warning shot, the voice of a woman who’s always known the truth but was never believed. Then, she unleashes her anger with "Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?" and "I Did Something Bad"—tracks dripping in revenge, anger, and unshakable confidence. "Look What You Made Me Do" is her reckoning, a complete shedding of her past self and the media’s portrayal of her. And then there’s "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"—a ruthless, poetic final word to the man who shattered her trust. She takes shots at the industry, too—those who tried to control her, silence her, toss her aside. But with "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys", she turns the camera back on the men who love to build women up just to break them down. It’s biting, it’s brutal, it’s cathartic.
Then comes "The Prophecy"—the final moment of doubt. Was she always meant to be the girl who was burned by love? Was her fate already written?
Then, "I Can See You" happens. Track 9...a special ode to a certain someone. A turning point. The moment she lets herself feel something new. The production shifts—lighter, warmer, more hopeful. Suddenly, she’s no longer writing from a place of anger or pain, but something entirely new: desire, love, and happiness. "So It Goes…" turns up the heat, sultry and hypnotic, a slow-burning realization that love can be intoxicating in the best way.
Then, "So High School" bursts in—youthful, giddy, pure. It’s the rush of falling, the way love makes you feel like a teenager again, sneaking glances across the room, giggling at inside jokes, feeling untouchable. The euphoria of it is undeniable.
"Delicate" is hesitant, but the moment she realizes this is different. "Gorgeous" is playful, full of infatuation, while "Labyrinth" captures the beautiful fear of falling too fast. And then, "You Are In Love"—a song so soft, so certain, it feels like an exhale after years of holding her breath. "Dress" is all-consuming passion, love in its most vulnerable, intimate form. And "Call It What You Want"? That’s her reclaiming happiness on her own terms. A standout in this beautiful album as she tells the tale of the past year of her life, herself.
"But Daddy I Love Him" is playful defiance, a rebellious whisper, a knowing smirk—she’s heard all the warnings before, but this time, she’s listening to her own heart. "New Year’s Day" is love’s quietest, truest promise—the kind that lasts long after the fireworks fade.
But it’s "End Game" that cements it all. A bold, sweeping declaration of two people with big reputations, two people who have seen the worst of the world and still found each other. It’s love against the odds, the thrill of knowing that despite everything—despite the noise, the criticism, the doubters—this was always meant to.
And then there’s Karma—one of the most satisfying moments on the album. A reminder that she doesn’t need revenge anymore. Karma will handle that for her. Because she’s too busy being happy.
Sonically, Reputation is her most dynamic, most versatile work yet. It moves effortlessly from dark, moody production to shimmering synths, from bass-heavy anthems to stripped-down confessions. It’s grand and cinematic, yet deeply personal. It’s both a middle finger to the past and a love letter to the future.
She told us she was going to write her own story. And this? This is the greatest plot twist yet.

Hey Ann! I hope you don't mind another question from this new Fetus Lance fan: How was Esteban and Lance's relationship prior to their F1 career? I found them to be very fascinating since it seems like they never really share feeder series year and I just found out recently about how lance is kind of responsible to esteban not having a seat in 2019, but he seems to be very close to lance even after that meaning that their friendship is stronger than esteban career.
Hello! First of all I never mind, especially this type of question because I have done extensive research on this topic + I fucking love these two.
Before I dive in I will say that: I don't think it's necessarily that "their friendship is stronger than Esteban's career" it's more that they keep their personal relationship and professional career separated very well (I will get into this).
Karting Days
Lance and Este had one year where they karted together (2011). This was Lance's first year of karting in Europe and Este's last year before he went onto single seaters. They had a few overlapping races and even shared a podium together.
WSK MURO LECCESE - Category KF 3 | June 26th 2011 (link) Not pictured but gif-ed here -> ERDF Masters Kart, 10-11 December 2011
This is when they first met and from this interview, Este recounts racing against Lance at that time.
“He was so small, he could barely keep his head upright,” the Frenchman remembers. “He still beat me in some races. He was very quick, but also very dainty, which is why he always had his problems in duels.” (source)
Prema Days
After that, they weren't in the same racing sphere until Lance joined Prema in 2014 for F4 while Esteban was there currently doing his F3 campaign.
(Fun fact Este won the championship that year and when Lance won 2 years later, it was Este who presented him with his trophy)
They had this Ferrari / Merc thing going on and it was cute aha (1) (2)
You can also watch them in a Prema video here (2:30 mark)! They also had a running joke with the engineers, where the engineers would call them monkeys. This is why in 2017 for secret santa (2:40 mark), Este gifted Lance a monkey plushy.
I would say that this is where they really became friends. On a broadcast, (I think it was from an FP session from Bahrain'23), one of the commentators mentioned their relationship and how they were both outcasts in their own right. Lance because he came from a lot of money, and Este because he didn't, so naturally they had each other.
Martin Kodrić, who used to kart with Lance stated on a Croatian podcast in 2021, that Lance wasn't liked during that time. He also said that
"nobody [on the grid] likes lance." well i like him, and este likes him, and checo and seb too. so fuck everyone else they're irrelevant." (source)
(personally I think this statement is somewhat exaggerated but it's what he said)
F1 Era
Like you mentioned, there was a lot of public scrutiny when Este was out of a seat in 2019. However he's never once blamed Lance or badmouthed him. You've probably seen this first pic that Este posted after. (I added the second pic for formatting lol)
He was also asked why he came to Lance's defence and said that
“I did that because Lance is my best mate in the paddock and we have a great relationship since a long time”. (source)
In a 2018 interview Lance was asked about their friendship situation to which he said
"I have my management team, he has his management team, we're both trying to do what's best for our careers, and there's our friendship. "We competed together in karts, we fought wheel-to-wheel in karts, he was in Prema Formula Three, he won the championship, I came in. "We've always had a good friendship and it's good to see that bridge hasn't burned." (source)
This is also a very sweet interview where he says that their friendship is above and beyond racing.
Like I said, they are VERY good at keeping their personal and business relationships separate. They often hang out on and off track, and I think it's very admirable, and not the easiest thing to do- to want to preserve friendship in such a cut throat environment.
It's funny though, because there are times where you can see it blend together.
Such as during the 2020 British GP where Este didn't complain that Lance was moving under breaking a little bit because, "we’ve known each other a long time. He knows he can do that a little bit to me, but at some point I’m going to go for it so he knows that as well".
Or prior to Hungary 2021 (when Este got his first win) Lance gave him advice for the start of the race.
The Frenchman later said he spoke to his friend Stroll about how to make the most of the start in wet conditions. “Yes, we had a chat with Lance before the race because Lance is an awesome starter in races and he loves those conditions as much as I do,” said Ocon. “Normally we always end up closer to the front in those [conditions] and he said when it’s the moment to go..." (source)
Normally I feel like these are things that teammates more often do, so it's really cute haha.
Extra
That's basically the end, but have some culturally relevant photos!!
If you want to see more feel free to go through my Lesteban tag because there's a whole lotta stuff I didn't include!

Trans made TTRPGs
Due to… recent events that I would rather not talk about, today's post is a highlight of different tabletop games made by trans peeps! These games are fantastic in their own right, of course, but you can also know that they were made by incredibly cool and attractive people
(Also, these are flyover descs of the game, they'll get more in-depth singular posts later, this is because I am lazy)
Perfect Draw is a phenomenal card game TTRPG that was funded in less than a day on backerkit, it's incredibly fun and has simple to learn hard to master rules for creating custom cards, go check it out!
Songs for the dusk is fucking good, pardon my language, but it's a damn good post apocalyptic game about building community in a post-capitalist-post-apocalypse-post-whatever world. do yourself a favor and if you only check out one game in this list, check this one out, its a beautiful game.
Flying Circus is set in a WW1 inspired fantasy setting full of witches, weird eldritch fish people (who are chill as hell), cults, dead nobility, and other such things. It's inspired by Porco Rosso primarily but it has other touchstones.
Wanderhome is a game about being cute little guys going on a silly adventure and growing as the seasons change, its GMless and very fun
https://weregazelle.itch.io/armour-astir Armour Astir has been featured in here before but its so damn good I had to post it twice. AA demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of the themes of mech shows in a way that very few other games show, its awesome
Kitchen Knightmares is… more of a LARP but its still really dang cool, its about being a knight serving people in a restaurant, its played using discord so its incredibly accessible
https://grimogre.itch.io/michtim Michtim is a game about being small critters protecting their forest from nasty people who wish to harm it, not via brutal violence (sadly) but via friendship and understanding (which is a good substitute to violence)
ok this technically doesn't count but I'm putting it here anyways cuz its like one of my favorite ttrpgs of all time TSL is a game about baring your heart and dueling away with people who you'll probably kiss 10 minutes later, its very very fanfic-ey and inspired by queer narratives. I put it here because its made by a team, and the expansion has a setting specifically meant to be a trans "allegory", so I'll say it counts, honestly just go check it out its good shit
https://willuhl.itch.io/mystic-lilies
Mystic Lillies is a game inspired by ZUN's Touhou Project about witches dueling powerful foes, each other, and themselves. Mystic Lillies features rapid character creation and a unique diceless form of rolling which instead uses a standard playing card deck.
https://preview.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/141424/nobilis-the-game-of-sovereign-powers-2002-edition I… want to do a more general overview on Jenna K as an important figure in indie RPG design, but for now just know that Nobilis is good
https://temporalhiccup.itch.io/apocalypse-keys Apocalypse Keys is a game inspired by Doom Patrol, Hellboy, X-men, and other comics about monstrousness being an allegory for disenfranchisement. Apocalypse Keys is also here because its published by Evilhat so its very cleaned up and fancy but I love how the second you check out the dev's other stuff you can tell they are a lot more experimental with their stuff, this is not a critique, it is in fact a compliment
Fellowship! I've posted about this game before, but it is again here. Fellowship has a fun concept that it uses very well mostly, its a game about defining your character's culture, and I think that's really really cool
Voidheart Symphony is a really cool game about psychic rebellion in a city that really does not like you, the more you discover for yourself the better
Panic at the Dojo is a phenomenal ttrpg based on what the Brazilian would call "Pancadaria", which basically means, fucking other's people shit up. Character Creation is incredibly open and free, meaning that many character concepts are available
Legacy 2e is a game about controlling an entire faction's choices across time, its very fun
remember to be kind to a trans person today! oh also don't even try to be transphobic in the reblogs or replies, you will be blocked so fast your head will spin

“Do you think you deserve it? To be punished?” “I think so, yes.”
A Pathfinder 2e Campaign Introduction Post!
MEET THE PARTY:
REVUN (@dovelydraws)
26 years old
he/they/she
A duel-wielding tiefling fighter. Easy-going freelance mercenary from Alephia, looking for a job that pays well and a little company.
FERRA (@artpepkin)
87 years old
she/her
A beastkin elven rogue from Chiei Thya. Playful vagabond who finds herself wherever the wind takes her. She's maybe gotten herself in a little over her head.
POLITES (@mossy-garden)
17 years old
he/him
A tiefling champion. Proud kingdom guard of Crimyria under the goddess Vildeas, who is willing and anxious to prove himself.
KWAN (@jinbugs)
39 years old
he/they/she
A human investigator. Cunning Po Lian scholar-official informant who is in pursuit of a dangerous secret, the centurion pearl. At any cost.
Glitch (@eternalglitch), our game master, weaves all our loose threads into one coherent story.
One fun rule we’ve incorporated into this campaign: players CANNOT share their character backstories with each other outside of gameplay.
It gives more mystery fun! It’s also driving us insane. Pray for us.

(Map created by @dovelydraws, summary also written by Dove)
A lot has gone into the cultures and politics of each of the countries our characters come from. Enough so that it doesn't make sense to get into all of it on an introductory post! But perhaps later in a reblog.
THE STORY SO FAR…
As of the writing of this post, we have now played 5 sessions of the campaign.
Our party all met each other in the small seaside town of Plumeport, Crimyria. We were all brought together in pursuit of the same thing: a legendary man-eating boar, said to hold the power of immortality.
It is believed that consuming the flesh of this boar would grant eternal life, and even just a bit of its fur or blood can extend a person's life, for a time. The King of Crimyria himself has offered whoever can take down this boar a large sum of wealth and a small offering of its blood for personal consumption. He wants the job to be done in time for the Crimyrian Festival of Flight, in a couple months time.
The bounty on the boar's head has drawn adventurers from all over the continent, but none so far have been able to take it down. Many have lost their lives. While each of our party members have their own reasons for wanting to take on this job, Kwan has a very personal stake in their success.
He has, reluctantly, revealed that he once knew the boar before it obtained the power it has today. He has reason to believe it has swallowed something once known as a centurion pearl: a powerful artifact that caused the fall of a once great kingdom, and threw the continent into tumultuous conflict. Kwan is adamant that this power should not be handed over to any king. Once it is killed, they want to extract the pearl from its body to make sure it can never fall into the wrong hands.
So far, Kwan has only revealed this to Revun. Polites, meanwhile, works directly under the king and wants to succeed on this mission to make him proud. Ferra seems to only be interested in the money and adventure. Revun has also said they were in this for the money, but vaguely admitted to Kwan that they also had their own personal reasons to go after the boar, and if he truly believes its power is too dangerous, they will follow his lead.
Once faced with the boar, however, the party was unprepared and outmatched. It was massive, its eyes as large as their heads, emanating a golden glow. It moved unlike a normal animal, and seemingly bore a higher level of intelligence than it should.
After a deceptively strong start, Polites went down in battle, and they were all forced to run to ensure everyone's survival. Before retreating though, Kwan shot the boar with a strange arrow, claiming they would be able to track it again later.
The party camped outside of the marsh, unable to sleep while waiting for Polites to wake up. They discussed next steps- going back to the city to regroup, get proper healing, and perhaps find a sponsor to help them in their next try. They still have a few weeks to get things figured out.
And that's all, so far! We're all pretty stoked and making tons of art and written works, so keep a look out, we might publish a zine when the sessions start wrapping up. Bye-bye, for now!

I wanted to separate my introduction from my Master List so here is the Official:
Millicent “Millie” Carter Grey. Born April 12, 1875. Sorted into Slytherin as a first year after it stalled between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor.
Millie grew up in an orphanage in a small muggle village outside of London. She didn’t know magic existed until she awakened hers when she turned 10. Then she received her Hogwarts letter.
She met Sebastian and Ominis in the common room on the first day & they became best friends. She was shy her first year and really only interacted with them, Anne, and a few other classmates but began to branch out as she got older.
She’s very clumsy, but when it comes to dueling she’s a natural talent. She’s kind hearted, energetic, and a bit chaotic. But if she trusts you, she’s loyal to no end.
She awakened her Ancient Magic her 5th year. She’s always had it inside, which caused her spells to be powerful, and somewhat hard to control. Sometimes even a simple spell literally blows up in her face.
Millie loves to experiment with Potions, but she’s not very good at it. If it’s a simple potion that she’s done before, it’s one thing, but it’s an advanced Potion with a lot of steps, then she tends to get impatient and accidentally skip a step or two. She also likes to try new ingredients, and she never really knows what she’s doing but she has fun anyways.
She has a passion for Magical Creatures. She shares a bond with a Thestral that lives just inside the Forbidden Forest, whom she named Uno. She met him in her third year when he was injured in a poacher trap and she healed him. She’s been able to see Thestrals as long as she can remember.
She loves Hogwarts and loves learning about magic and spells, but she hates homework. Especially essays. Sebastian has written quite a lot for her, but he takes a few extra classes himself and can’t always do it. He always has time to proof read for her though ❣️ her least favorite class is Divinations. Hates it. (And she hates tea).
She Loves. To. Duel. Loves it. A day spent dueling Poachers in the Forbidden Forest is a fun day for Millie. She dominates crossed wands with Sebastian and they tend to take on more opponents than necessary just for fun. They’re used to patching each other up during their adventures to the Forbidden Forest, ect, so that’s what they usually do after their Crossed Wand duels. It drives Ominis nuts.
While Millie has faced many Dark Wizards in her years at Hogwarts, she has never killed. The only time was when her Ancient Magic caused Rookwood’s Killing Curse to rebound back to him in her 5th year. That moment haunted her ever since.
Her favorite thing to duel is Inferi, since she doesn’t have to hold back. She loves adventuring and exploring around the hamlets and other areas. Her favorite villager to help out is Dorothy Sprottle, she visits her often.
Check out my Masterlist learn more lore and see more art ❣️

I just finished a stage combat weekend workshop, so you know what that means!
Here's what the Biggest Little Theatre Links would work best with in the stage combat world!
--
Time - Broad Sword: This one is kind of a given. It's a large weapon that can easily be played as super heavy (which it is), but with the right training, it is dynamic and just as fluid as any other sword. Time would like the strength it takes to wield it, and mastering something that most people tend to stay away from.
Legend - Rapier and Dagger: I haven't had the chance to work with these yet, but from my understanding, it is so versatile having two weapons. There is an unlimited number of attacks and parries you could come up with. It could be a quick take down, or drawn out to be elegant. Plus, I think the man who collects weapons would want to use two at once.
Twilight - Quarter Staff: OK! HEAR ME OUT! It would have been so easy to say he does broad sword like his dad or something, BUT! You can't tell me this guy who lives on a farm hasn't picked up a shovel or pitchfork and started spinning it like a staff. I think he would like how many ways it could be used. Attacking, shielding, thrusting. It is also so much fun just to spin around in your hands and do tricks with.
Warriors - Small Sword: Small swords are the best weapon ever, and I am totally not biased (they are my fav)! The history of small swords is what I think draws Wars in originally. Nobles used them in the 18th century to duel. When fighting, every move is small, quick, and has almost a flourish to it. So much thinking goes into knowing how to properly parry each quick move and plan your next attack.
Wind - Single Sword: Single Swords are the swords you think of in pirating! Basic answer for Wind? Maybe. But I had to give it to him! There are so many fun tricks you can do, like kicking the sword up into your hand and making the classic swoosh sound when you move it quickly! The guy would have two swords just to randomly give one to the other Links and ask them to come up with a fun phrase and new ideas!
Wild - Unarmed: There is so much you can do with unarmed. Punches, slaps, kicks, grapples, throws, rolls, ducks, dodges. Wild would like them all! He loves the close combat of it and that it's almost play fighting. You need to trust your partner not to rush or push you too hard. Although the burn scars can be sensitive sometimes and he needs breaks, it's still his favorite.
Hyrule - Knife: Knives have so much movement. You are constantly blocking an attack while prepping yours. Hyrule likes being fast on his feet and finding creative solutions to get around his partner. Plus, he has experience using one because of his...we'll call it lack of housing situation for a year or so. He and Wild work together a lot because knife work uses unarmed techniques.
Sky - Rapier and Cape: I haven't had the chance to do this, but I honestly just had the idea of Sky using his sailcloth while fighting. He throws it at the target as a distraction and then stabs through the fabric into them. For the theater universe, I think he would like it for the cool factor and the fact that you get to wear a cape.
The Quadruplets:
Red - Sword and Shield: Another combo I haven't worked with yet. I think Red would like the protection and security that having a sword and shield gives. You can attack and defend with both, and look so cool while doing it!
Green - Single Sword: He's Wind's partner most of the time for Single Sword. While Wind pushes their creative limits by coming up with performance ideas, Green makes sure they aren't going too fast and that everything they do is safe. The last thing they need is to lose an actor.
Blue - Unarmed: Growing up, Blue did combat classes, so everything in unarmed combat is somewhat familiar. He likes that he gets to use his body as a weapon and see what the limits are. When Wild needs to take a break, he steps in to work with Hyrule.
Vio - Small Sword: While Wars likes it more for the flashy fancy of the weapon, Vio likes the precision and calculation of thinking quickly on his feet. He has beaten War's almost every time.
--
Let me know if you think any differently or have any other ideas!
My ask box is open if you want to know more about this AU or ask the characters questions! I also take writing requests!

I’ve been thinking about the post-canon digital world arc for this au. I don’t know if this will ever be officially I’m just playing with some concepts right now.
But some of the DM crew and some of the GX crew are pulled into a digital world and forced to use the deck master style of dueling.
Here are the pairings I’m playing with (this is after the Gx crew knows Jaden’s identity as Jaden Moto.
Yugi and Jaden - Yugi, upon realizing that they are in a digital world and will be using deck masters again and dueling for their lives, makes a mad dash for his son. He’s been through this song and dance before. He knows they are about to be split up. Right as the ground opens up below Jaden’s feet Yugi tackles the kid and the two go down together. He’s sat on the sidelines for to long. If these people want to attack his son then they are getting both of them.
Atem and Jim - this one might seem out of left field. But I wanted so weird pairings. I think Jim is calm and collected and him and Atem would mash well together. They handle business and keep moving forward. Jim is also someone who will give his all to help his friends and is very loyal to Jaden. Both traits earn him Atem’s full approval.
Seto and Chazz - Chazz is determined to impress Seto Kaiba. (He’s basically already family but he’s never got to duel along side Seto and this is a big deal) however he needs up with Ojama Yellow as his deck master through their usual shenanigans. (He loves to Ojamas but he’s trying to show off here) but they do turn out to be quite helpful especially when paired with Kaiba’s crush card. I can also see them having a cool moments since they both play XYZ canon cards.
Joey and Jesse - these two are having a blast. The Crystal beast are out and roasting every opponent that comes towards them and Joey is loving these spirits. It takes a bit to get their decks to sync up but over all the two are having a great time. There is a little stress because Joey has seen what Jaden will do if anything happens to Jesse. But he quickly forgets that worry because who’s taking down Joey Wheeler? Nobody that’s who. They spend most of the time talking about Jaden and Joey roasting any opponent sparing the Crystal beast to join in.
Tristian and Axel - Tristian is a weak duelist and while he’s learned quite a bit over the years he’s still not a duelist. I wanted to pair him with someone strong. Both are fighters. Tristan is always willing to through hands. They are also to characters who are willing to make the sacrifice play. (Tristan more that Axel) Axel is also super intense and not every character from DM would be able to play off that. While Tristan is giddy he can also buckle down and get things done.
Téa and Alexis - while I don’t normally like “pair the girls together cause they’re girls” but I think Alexis deserves to be with another girl for once. Also I think the character work here could be really fun. Alexis misses her friends (this is probably the first time they have all gotten together since the tournament arc) she’s struggling with her desire for things to go back to the way they were and her need to move towards the future. She started to learn this lesson with Jaden in their final year, but I think talking with Téa and learning how friendships change over time but that doesn’t mean they are gone. Friendships also require both sides to put in an effort. There is a lot of growth to be had
Mokuba and Hasselberry - honestly this is probably the weakest pairing. Mokuba has been head of torments for years now and Hasselberry has just graduated. Hasselberry is a charge ahead break down all obstacles kind of person, while Mokuba is a lot more meticulous. He’s used to dealing with long game business buyouts. He can duel well but not at a professional level. He does however know the rules inside and out. I can see them having a great moment when Hasselberry want to charge ahead in their duel only for Mokuba to slow him down. Pointing out a super obscure rule that leads to a winning combo. They are opposites that work well together
Duke and Atticus - the “pretty boys” of their series. Defiantly putting on a show every time they have to duel. When they meet up with the others everyone is a little haggard from their experience and then these to strut out like runway models
Serenity and Aster - once again this might be a strange pair but hear me out. Serenity, while far more knowledgeable than she was in battle city, is still not a duelist. Pairing her with a pro makes sense. Also Aster is a gentleman, he also loves being a hero. I can see him trying to duel for both of them and trying to protect Miss Serenity. (Although doing so might put him in over his head) Serenity is also nowhere near the Novices she was in the digital world arc in season 3. She has a working deck. She just doesn’t play on the level of Joey, Yugi, Atem, and Seto. I like the idea of her also having a fusion deck. Maybe one themed around angels.
Again right now this is just an idea. Let me know if you think any other pairs would be fun. I’m open to some changes.
I also need to figure out everyone’s deck masters.

We all make fun of the disaster lineage for being disasters, but when you think about it they had exceptional dueling skills. Dooku was specifically known for his dueling ability; Obi-wan beat Anakin and Maul and yes though he ended up shooting Greivous he was one of the few Jedi to even survive dueling him; Anakin was well, Anakin.
Its hard to even say whos the best but Ahsoka sure has a list of achievements against opponents three times her size, and i think shes my favorite to actually watch (animation that is, with her reverse grip and acrobatic style).
Surviving Ventress in her first week as a padawan
Defeating three magnaguards, also in her first week as a padawan
Survives Ventress several more times, when Ventress is crazy enough to give a Jedi Master like Luminara serious trouble
Surviving Grievous when she still had one lightsaber and stubby baby montrals
Surviving Grievous again later during the youngling arc, once she has two lightsabers and a lot more experience under her belt. Even using all four of his lightsabers he can't kill her.
You know, Maul. When she was 17. Need i even say more?
The time she beat that one Inquisitor without her own lightsaber and killed him with his own (happened in both the book and TotJ).
That time she beat off two Inquisitors at once.
There are only three Jedi who ever survived against Vader. She did technically die but she came back and also a temple fell on her. anyways she survived long enough to have a building fall on her which is saying a lot.
Anyways disaster lineage are epic duelists and we have to respect them for that
#g gives a thought#anakin skywalker#obi wan kenobi#count dooku#ahsoka tano#disaster lineage#i guess qui gon too sad to count he shouldnt have died from a stab wound no one else did#dont even ask about sabine im ignoring that#i meant to make this post about the lineage but ahsoka deserves the recognition

First Line Tag Game
Rules: Take your most recent ten fics and post the first line from each of them.
I was tagged in by @vixstarria <3 so I'm passing the tag on to: @redroomroaving @thylyre @tynithia @graysparrowao3 @elinorbard and @miradelletarot
To keep it from taking up too much room on anyone's feed I'll put the links in below the cut~ Each title is the active AO3 link, and I recommend checking tags on every piece.
1. The Wizard, The Lich, and The Watcher (NSFW Explicit) Volothamp Geddarm x Withers x Barcus Wroot
Barcus Wroot hadn’t paid much attention to rhymes, so he was ill prepared for what he found in the woods that day…
2. A Risky Manoeuver (NSFW Explicit) Enver Gortash x Reader (Gender Not Specified)
Every rational thought in your mind would tell you, quite clearly, that sneaking in to the office of Lord Enver Gortash was a terrible plan…but you didn’t much care for rational thought, did you?
3. The Wizard, The Maze, and The Wardrobe He Didn't Need (SFW, Gen) Gale Goes To Fantasy IKEA
When Gale heard tell of a new and somewhat mystical building appearing in the rebuilt Merchant’s Quarters of Baldur’s Gate, he resolved himself to thoroughly investigate the rumours and determine if this was a new threat to the city or simply the mundane that had been made more mystical by rumour alone.
4. The Final Encore (NSFW, Explicit) Withers x Dribbles the Clown
Withers, for a moment, lamented that he had never been the deity in charge of party planning, though he surmised that would have been a role retired from far sooner than his charge over the dead.
5. The Dare, The Duel, and The Devil's Ascension (SFW, Mature) Raphael vs Yurgir Battle
Promises made should not be broken – never be broken – especially not in the hells.
6. Silken Blood (NSFW, Explicit) Astarion x Kar'niss
The Underdark was about the last place Astarion expected to see a familiar face, let alone one he had thought long gone in the Shadow-Cursed Lands where the drider was left unconscious in a darkness almost as oppressive as the underground.

The war of attrition between Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger began with a rat and a cat, as all great and terrible feuds do.
It was a battle waged in huffs and eye-rolls, sharpened sighs and venom-laced barbs, all revolving around the infamous day Crookshanks allegedly tried to devour Scabbers. Ron had declared Hermione a “pet murderer in the making.” Hermione had sniffed that Ron’s rodent was “one flu away from the afterlife.”
And so, the war raged on.
Harry Potter, unfortunate third wheel and reluctant referee, had endured it all: the passive-aggressive silence, the not-so-passive-aggressive arguments, the glares that could melt steel. By the time Christmas came around, he’d had enough.
“I’ve had enough.” Harry’s voice cracked as he clapped his hands together like a weary parent. “I am sick of being in the middle of this nonsense. You two need to talk. Like, proper talking.”
“Hard pass,” Ron grumbled, shoving a spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth.
“I’d rather discuss the legal ramifications of beheading house-elves,” Hermione said primly, flipping a page of Hogwarts: A History with unnecessary force.
Harry narrowed his eyes. Then, with the steely determination of a Chosen One who had fought trolls, basilisks, and Voldemort himself, he set his plan into motion.
—
Scene One: The Great Hall Showdown
At breakfast the next day, the tension between Ron and Hermione reached unbearable levels.
“Could you not breathe so loudly, Ronald?” Hermione snapped, buttering her toast with the force of someone stabbing a mortal enemy.
“I’m eating, Hermione. What, should I stop breathing entirely?” Ron shot back, waving his fork in exasperation. “Would that finally make you happy?”
Harry groaned, rubbing his temples. “You two are worse than my Aunt Petunia and the neighbor’s cat.”
“She’s not that bad,” Ron muttered. “At least the cat has the decency to leave sometimes.”
Hermione gasped. “You insufferable, immature—”
“Oh, here we go,” Harry mumbled, resting his forehead against the table as they devolved into another argument about proper eating etiquette, feline instincts, and something about Ron’s socks being a personal offense to Hermione’s entire existence.
—
Scene Two: The Library Duel
Later that afternoon, Hermione sat in the library, attempting to read in peace. That was, until Ron plopped down beside her, dropping his bag loudly onto the table.
“Do you mind?” Hermione hissed, glaring at him.
“Oh, terribly,” Ron drawled. “But then I thought—why should you have all the fun? Let’s ruin each other’s day.”
“Your mere existence does that just fine.”
“Well, at least I’m good at something,” Ron shot back.
Madam Pince cleared her throat loudly, and the two fell into a furious silence, glowering at each other over their books.
Harry, two tables away, just sighed. “I swear, I’m going to move to another country.”
—
Scene Three: The Potions Incident
During Potions class, Hermione and Ron were assigned as partners. Naturally, disaster ensued.
“Ron, you have to chop the ingredients finely, not turn them into mush!”
“Well, maybe if someone wasn’t breathing down my neck, I could do it properly!”
“Breathing down your—Ronald, you are butchering this potion!”
“Maybe I want to butcher it,” Ron retorted, throwing in an extra scoop of powdered root just to spite her.
The cauldron exploded.
Harry wiped potion sludge from his face, his expression eerily blank. “You two. Are. A nightmare.”
—
Scene Four: The Quidditch Match
During a Gryffindor vs. Slytherin match, Hermione was in the stands while Ron was keeping goal. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop them from bickering.
“Ron! Pay attention!” Hermione shouted as he barely dodged a Slytherin Chaser.
“I am paying attention!” Ron yelled back.
“No, you’re yelling at me!”
“Well, you started it!”
The Quaffle soared past him into the hoop. Ron groaned while Hermione smugly crossed her arms.
“Merlin’s beard,” Harry muttered. “They’re going to kill each other before I get a chance to.”
—
Scene Five: The Closet of Doom
“Harry, let me out of this closet.” Hermione’s voice was clipped, and somewhere in the dimly lit, broom-scented space, Ron let out a dramatic groan.
“Oh, brilliant plan, Potter,” Ron snapped, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “Locking two people in a broom closet. Revolutionary. Where’d you get the idea? A romance novel?”
“Shut up, Ron.”
“No, you shut up!”
“Both of you shut up!” Harry yelled through the door. “I am not letting you out until you sort this ridiculousness out.”
Footsteps retreated, and with a final, victorious chuckle, Harry was gone.
For a long moment, there was only silence. Hermione sighed. “This is your fault.”
Ron groaned. “We are not doing this again.”
Silence stretched between them, thick and heavy. Ron shifted uncomfortably. Hermione sighed again. The air was excruciating.
Ron exhaled sharply. “You drive me absolutely mental, you know that?”
Hermione smirked. “Good.”
Ron grumbled, running a hand through his hair. “I mean it. You make me want to scream half the time.”
Hermione arched a brow. “Only half? I must be losing my touch.”
Ron huffed a laugh. Then he went quiet, his fingers tapping against his knee. “I think I like it.”
Hermione tilted her head. “Like what?”
“This.” He gestured vaguely between them. “The arguing, the banter. The way you call me an idiot every other day. I think—I like it. And it’s really bloody annoying, Hermione.”
Hermione blinked. “Excuse me?”
Ron inhaled sharply. “I think I might be in love with you. And it’s driving me mad.”
Hermione took a slow step forward. “You are an idiot.”
Ron swallowed. “Yeah?”
She grabbed his tie, pulling him closer. “Yeah.”
And then she kissed him, just to shut him up.
—
Harry, waiting outside, heard a suspicious silence followed by the distinct sound of lips meeting. He closed his eyes and sighed so deeply it was almost spiritual.
When the door finally opened, revealing Ron and Hermione flushed and suspiciously quiet, he crossed his arms. “I knew it.”
Ron grinned sheepishly. Hermione adjusted her sweater, suddenly very interested in the floor.
Harry pointed a finger at both of them. “Don’t involve me in your nonsense ever again. I mean it. I refuse to spend another second of my life refereeing your ridiculous, slow-burn romantic comedy. I am done.”
He turned on his heel and marched away, muttering about needing a vacation.
Ron and Hermione exchanged a look.
“Well,” Ron said, scratching the back of his head. “That went well.”
Hermione smiled. “Yeah.”
And for once, they didn’t argue.

Rip Damian’s ability to mimic people voices,
like seriously do DC not know the potential that could have? THE COMEDY POTENTIAL?!
Bats!Dick and Batgirl Steph could have had a game with Damian by introducing as many people to Damian as they can and get him to mimic their voices.
Dick can show Damian memes and famous clips from movies and Damian could perfectly repeat them in the actors voice.
We could have Damian using his ability to mimic voices as a way to either gain the overhand over an enemy or to psychologically torment them.
Rip DC you did nothing with ability along with Damian’s ability to apparently DO SURGERY
Which was Ngl kinda insane. How does he keep steady hands??????? At least now it was sort of believable when he attempted to disarm a bomb because I know he has steady hands and precision but like bro he’s like ten
Anyways sorry about that rant, does Dick have any werid abilities or talents that comic book writers either forget or underuse?
Like I know when he was younger apparently he was like a mathlete or something and he knows a lot of languages.
I don't know why this made me want Damian to mimic Patrick having the, "It's not my wallet" convo with Man Ray. But yeah or the fact that Damian plays the violin. Unless that's been brought up in his series with Bruce, I haven't been keeping up with it. According to Damian himself, he can quickly master musical instruments, so I'm just waiting for him to challenge Steph to a piano duel. Or she could play piano, and he could play violin. Either way.
Dick can also do voice mimicry thanks to Alfred. And yeah, he used to be a math tutor. I like whenever he does any kind of mechanic/engineer/welding work. I wouldn't mind it being a bigger focus. As for weird abilities... he's good with his thighs lmao. Either tossing people or holding on to things with them alskdja. Oh and Dick can also use a slingshot. That's a fun weapon. And this is more of a hobby than a talent but skydiving.

This is actually a kind of duel request from Voidhoonter and myself, but could you do a kind of family holiday story for Sanguinius and his children? Specifically Astaroth, Lilith, Abidel, and Calligos. I imagine it would be a bit longer than a chapter, dm myself or Voidhoonter for details.
Wrote it kinda like they're kids/teenagers since they are younger.
"Why did we choose this planet? Why choose a planet at all? We could have just stayed on the red tear or found one of those fancy guard ships. Fulgrim's ship!"
Sanguinius just smiled at Abidel, "I thought this would be nice."
Lilith glanced at her younger brother, "Be grateful. Would you rather we have chosen a desert planet just like home?"
"No," He said quietly.
"Yes," Astaroth muttered.
Calligos piped up, "I think it's great."
Astaroth laughed, "You think anywhere is great if it has an actual sun."
Sanguinius' wing bopped him on the head.
"Hush," He ordered kindly. "We're here to enjoy ourselves. Horus recommended this planet. It's a paradise world and not too humid."
"If Uncle Horus suggested it..." Astaroth pondered.
Lilith stretched her wings, "Definitely lots of open air for flying."
She looked back at Calligos and grinned, "Don't worry, I'll carry you."
"I'm obviously not going to," Abidel mumbled.
Lilith used a wing to smack him upside the head before Sanguinius could intervene.
The Angel sighed, "Let's not fight. The villa is just ahead. Let's get settled. No serfs so we carry our own luggage. Abidel, could you grab a few extra?"
The younger just nodded and did as his father suggested, not realizing it was for the comment before.
Calligos and Lilith made eye contact.
He ran and leaped into Lilith's embrace as she furled her wings.
"Last one, there is a rotten grox!" She yelled as they launched into the sky. Calligos whooped and hollered with delight.
"Hey!" Abidel gasped.
Astaroth practically cackled as he chased after her with Abidel on his heels.
Sanguinius smiled and shook his head.
***
"I call the balcony room!" Lilith yelled from within as soon as the others landed.
"I call the other!" Abidel added.
"That's the master suite, and it goes to Father," Astaroth reminded him while ruffling his hair.
Abidel smacked his brother's hands away.
"Where do you want?" Astaroth asked Calligos.
The other shrugged, "I'm fine wherever so long as it's not in the basement."
"No basement!" Lilith's voice called from within the villa.
Abidel ran in, "Don't go exploring without me!"
"Not if you can't keep up," Lilith teased.
The Primarch landed and took in the view. He smiled and nodded as Calligos and Astaroth came to help bring in the luggage. He suddenly frowned and stared inside.
"Lilith, come back here," he called. "You're not drinking unsupervised."
"Oh, come on!" She whined. "How did you even know??"
"I can sense it," He answered knowingly.
***
Abidel was about to go flying off again when Sanguinius called him back.
"Yes, father?" He asked.
"I think we have enough game to last us throughout our entire stay," he said, motioning to the pile of beasts his son had hunted.
"But there was one I haven't gotten yet, and it looked like it'd go perfectly with spices of Baal," he insisted.
Sanguinius raised a brow.
"And I already caught and killed it and need to go get it."
Sanguinius stared.
"Several others, actually."
Sanguinius didn't budge.
"A couple sets of several others, I swear that's the last of it! I got carried away! They went running, and it was so fun, and my hearts were -"
His father put up a hand to silence him, "No more hunting. I don't need the creatures of this planet to become endangered species. Also we won't be able to eat all that. Go get it and store what you can."
Abidel laughed as he went flying out.
"Astsroth? Lilith?" The Angel called.
Astaroth poked his head in, "Yes?"
"Go follow your brother. Make sure he doesn't hunt anything additional."
***
Calligos creeped through the hall, blending into the shadows. Like a silent hunter, stalking his prey in the night.
He rounded the corner and froze as he came face to face with his own father.
"You're sneaking food!" He whispered loudly.
His father motioned him to be quiet as he held the fridge door open.
"Just a late night snack," he assured. "What do you want?"
Calligos thought a moment, "Any of that candied fruit left?"
Sangunius nodded and held up the bag, "Came specifically for that. Don't tell your sister."
They sat on the floor and talked.
The next morning, Lilith stood in the kitchen with her hands on her hips.
"Who ate the last of the candied fruit?" She demanded. "There was enough for five of me!"
"Are you sure you didn't eat it last night?" Sang asked, not looking up from his book.
Him and Calligos made eye contact as Lilith started interrogating Astaroth.
***
Calligos floated in the water with a content look on his face.
"Still not jealous!" Astaroth yelled down.
"Me either," Abidel commented as he stuffed his face with that days lunch
"You just said he was lucky he doesn't have wings to weigh him down in water," Sanguinius pointed out.
"I was just saying that to make him feel better," Abidel explained.
Lilith rolled her eyes.
"Whatever," she muttered as she stood from her seat. "LOOK OUT BELOW!!"
She launched herself into the air and went diving down. She tucked in her legs and wings just before hitting the water, forming a cannonball.
The splash of waves flew upwards, and Abidel managed to dodge out of the way. A wave slapped across Astaroth, smacking the kebab he was eating out of his hand.
"I didn't get to finish my food..." He said, his hands still in the position of holding the kebab.
Abidel burst into laughter, pointing at his older brotpit. then suddenly was lifted up.
He yelled in protest, flapping his wings as his father carried him to the edge, and jumped in.
Calligos sighed as another wave rocked him, and Abidel screeched in indignation at his soaked wings.
"Relaxing," he mumbled. "So relaxing."
Astaroth yelped out.
Lilith had scaled the cliffside and grabbed him by the ankle. He tried flying away, but she kept dragging him back.
With leaves and moss in her hair, she looked like an eldritch water monster. Especially as she brought Astaroth to the waters edge and laughed maniacally.
"Don't pull him in if he doesn't want to," Sang called.
He laughed as Abidel yelled and started splashing water at him for the hypocrisy.
***
"No, no, no," Calligos insisted. "That is Baal's sun, and over there is Cthonia's."
"I thought that was Nostramo's?" Astaroth questioned sleepily from the couch.
"Nostramo's sun is a dying star and not broght enough," Lilith chipped in.
Astaroth mumbled without opening his eyes, "Or at least the one closest to it?"
"Nostramo is over there," Calligos answered as he pointed in another direction.
"Is that right?" Lilith asked, turning to their father.
He sipped his wine and nodded.
"This one is Calliban," Abidel declared, pointing to another.
Sanguinius smiled at the younger two, interacting. Astaroth was soon snoring on the couch, wings twitching. Lilith stood next to him, sipping her own glass.
"Haven't said it yet," she spoke quietly. "But thank you, Father. This has been fun."
Sang raised a brow, "It isn't over yet, though."
She nodded, "I know, just wanted to say it before I forgot."
He smiled and placed a wing around her, "Thank you, my ruby. I'm glad you're enjoying this, too."

Ride 757: A small tremor

Pag 1
2: Raging waves!!
3: Swirling ocean currents!!

Pag 2
1: Danchiku!!
2: We're now in the land of the decisive battle, Kyushu!! In Shimonoseki!!
Calm down, Issa, this is Moji. Shimonoseki is on the opposite shore, it's in Yamaguchi Prefecture
3: 1000 years ago, the final battle between Genji and Heike happened here

Pag 3
2: You know that because we did it recently in Japanese History? So you were awake....
3: The master fencer Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kotaro had their duel in the close Ganryu Island!!
Ah... almost, but not really. It's Sasaki Kojiro; Kotaro is a friend of yours
5: Here!!
6: Here it's the starting point of the Inter High!!
8: Us!!

Pag 4
1: Let's become the best in Japan
Danchiku!!

Pag 5
2: Uh......!!
I came here just to chaperone you.... and I was wondering what you were you even talking about until now....
3: But this guy's simple words and feelings-
(Let's go see the sea, Danchiku! It's the sea!
Let's go renew our determination!!)
4: -can always shake my heart!!
Yeah, Issa!!

Pag 6
1: The towel is cast!!*
2: It's “the die is cast”!!*
Die is dice and it means “it's already started so you have to move forward”!! To “throw the towel” means to “give up”!!
(*NdT.: here Issa uses two very similar words: he says “saji” while it's actually “sai”)
3: Ahhh, dammit, I'm really so fired up!!
4: Let's go show this excitement to him!!
Him!?
To Doubashi!! Hahaha
Hm... wait, you want to go to Hakogaku's tent!? You want to march inside? Stop, Issa!!

Pag 7
3: We're here
4: Why are you here- during Doubashi-san's massage
See, look, Issa
Sohoku second years!? Don't come into the enemy's tent without even a greeting!
Doesn't matter
5: Let them through

Pag 8
1: It's been a while. I'm so worked up now, Doubashi!!
“san”, na!!
2: He's huge.....!! Hakogaku's third year, Doubashi Masakiyo!!
He sitting down, and yet he looks like Issa that's standing up!!
3: Is it your ring name!? Sanna Doubashi!?
I told you to use the honorific “san, idiot!! Buah!!
4: Was he this huge last year!? ….. no
He got even bigger during this past year!!
5: There are so many injuries in his knees
6: And even on his elbows there are traces of fights...!!

Pag 9
1: I came to tell you how much stronger I got in this past year
Oi, stop, if you say something like this now, you'll definitely regret it later
Nah, I'll say it
3: There's another person
4: Ah....
5: Is he also..... a regular?
6: Ah, Yes, I'm Sohoku's... second year...
Hahaha I'll introduce you!!
7: Is he your partner, Orange?
Hahaha, that's right!!
8: Our team's name is SS!! His name is Danchiku!!
I'm telling you this for your own good
9: Stop

Pag 10
1: This guy's a “chicken*”
(*NdT.: here the literal translation of the kanji used is "weak-hearted", while the reading says "chicken")

Pag 11
2: He'll run away right away
3: Buah!!
4: Road racing half a mental sport!! The distance is long and there'll be a lot of difficult moments. I don't know what kind of runner this guy is, but he's mentally weak and he'll be crushed by the pressure, especially at the Inter High!!
5: He got my weak point with one shot....!!
6: Nah, Orange!! Let's have a serious race, the two of us
Ah!?
And bring a better guy than this!! Ah!?
7: This one's no good, he can't run!!
That's what the sensor in my polished body are telling me
8: Doesn't Sohoku have a reserve!? You should.....

Pag 12
1: Replace him right now
4: Yuuto lost to a guy like this?
Ah!?
Well, I guess you had quite an advantage since it was a rcae in your hometown
Danchiku won!!
5: Would it be better if I was replaced...? No
He's not a bad guy, but.... sometimes he says bad stuff. Last year, too-
6: No, that's not true!!
What am I saying!! I'll run!! I'll be the one running!!

Pag 13
1: In the Inter High!! Together with Issa!!
2: Ehi, welcome back. Did you have fun on your walk?
… yeah
I've done the oiling and the gear check
Did you see the sea?
It was fired up!!
3: Fired up?
The sea was fired up!!
4: “My heart is small”
“Yours is much bigger”
5: Sugimoto-san.....
Once you get dressed could you try ride it?

Pag 14
1: Uhm, Sugimoto-san
3: Hm?
4: Hy.... hypothetically
5: If right now
6: I said I couldn't run, what would you do?

Pag 15
4: Since the day I was chosen as a reserve
5: I haven't taken even one day off practice
7: The members may seem to be in perfect condition, but they could accidentally fall and get injured, or get ill
Be ready to run the moment you know someone can't run, that's what a reserve is
I
8: I spent my time wishing that all my efforts would be in vain

Pag 16
1: I would run for all three days!!
Now I'll put this toolbox down, put on the my cleats and prepare my own bike!!
Can be done in fifteen minutes!!

Pag 17
2: Be prepared!!
4: I-I'm sorry!!
I'm sorry for saying stupid things
5: In road racing a reserve can only be subbed in until the start of the first day
The rules say that you can't change during the race
6: Is that so!?
You didn't know that!?
7: Once the race starts, if someone can't run, he can't be substituted
He retires and the number of people in the tea decreases... that's road racing
8: If your condition isn't good, tell us now
It's more advantageous is all six people run
9: It's alright, if you made that decision

Pag 18
1: No one will blame you

Pag 19
1: This trial run on the course is terrific, Danchiku
The sea is in full view!!
2: That tanker is huugee!!
“No one will blame you”
3: Don't hang your head, don't look down
What a I thinking!!
Raise your head!!
4: Issa is here
5: The Inter High I've longed for
6: “Stop”
“Chicken”
7: The die is cast!!
