the VIP staff rocked it, both at early checkin and normal VIP checkin. they were so nice and helpful, special thanks to the woman with the bandana and megaphone!!

handed out all of my bracelets in the early checkin line, there were about 40 of us there by 11am. lots of people had bracelets and trinkets for trading, and some lovelies had water, juice, and fruit snacks to share in case we needed it.

while in line for actual checkin, an alleged tour bus driver (from what those around me posited given anecdotal evidence) took a pic of my sign (BANG ME LIKE YOUR DRUMS, MOUNTAIN) and said "tobias is gonna love this"

cool ghoul cosplayer in line, he also complimented me on my sign

a rogue vessel cosplayer appeared and was handing out little squishy donuts (more on my interaction with them at the end of the show later)

vanessa appears by the pit-goers; as she sweeps across the barrier, i hold my sign up and she pointed me out during GTV live, i of course blew kisses for my boy juuuust in case he might have been watching backstage lol. so yes, if you go back to the live, you'll see my face. don't look too hard at it hfsjdj.

talked with the people around us (@belle--ofthebrawl got a spot on barrier on the right side, @miasmaghoul had a seat two rows behind pit, and @coffeeghoulie and i got this spot about 2 - 3 people back from barrier right in the middle), one person said this was her first concert EVER.

during show (in no particular order bc who can remember that):

rain is gorgeous up close, somehow i forget but this costume on him? literal perfection.

speaking of, costumes are BETTER in person, photos really dont do them justice. they're so sparkly and shiny and fun.

i had perfect view of mountain the entire time, literally straight on. so glad he switched out of that damn top hat, he looks so good with his veil.

the back row (tempest, mount, storm, and rory) were closer to the front of the stage than last tour, and i appreciated that! they deserve more attention so i was glad they brought them forward more.

because of that, i noticed storm IMMEDIATELY after curtain drop. not just because he's big boy (<3) but his dancing, he was jamming the entire time.

me sobbing as i thought i would during DATHOML. im so glad tobias chose to perform this, it's so good. my hand was over my mouth for half of the song just taking it in.

during the opening of DATHOML, rain covered the bottom half of his face with his veil and covered his mouth with his hand over that.

during mummy dust, there's little animated mummy dust bills floating around on the big screens.

cirrus just. fucking getting it. she was so wonderful to watch. and HOTTTT. i always forget how fun and emotive she is, acting out lyrics and such. and she was such a shining star during her keytar solo.

also a chunk of us in pit chanting "cowbell, cowbell" at the beginning of umbra waiting for papa to rise up with it. and aurora sort of smacking at perpetua's hands when he, as usual, is late to give her the damn thing.

tempo is slightly slower on umbra when played live.

they snuck in that instrumental soundbite from the end of the satanized music video before one of the songs but i can't remember which!

aeon played facing mountain on his platform at one point.

satan prayer, very extensive teaching moment from papa so we could "get" the lyrics and sing it back to him.

so many lapel grabs and crouchy dancing from storm, he made me giddy every time i chose to look at him.

perpetua calling dew "junior" after fistbumping him in his little thing before squammer (something like "knock 'em out, junior") and saying dew got "this kickass boot from kicking too many asses" while dew soaked up the attention.

i heard a "wobble!" from perpetua during danse macabre. copia is trying to come out lol.

the Ghost light up marquee!! i loved that they included that in the set design, i think its so camp.

i feel very lucky where i ended up, even if it wasn't barrier. i could really see the entire stage and being in the middle, we got lots of interaction from papa. i think that will be my last pit show for this band with how the VIP tiers keep getting pricier and more varied, and despite what you'll read next, i do think it was honestly the best Ghost show i've been to. and i'm a BIG fan of the no phones, it was so much more enjoyable, and people were actually singing and interacting more because of it, which made my experience better (as we know it does for the band).

bows/post show:

i held up my sign during bows, doing my due diligence to spot the husband. mountain made his way to the middle of the stage, stood still like he was scanning where to throw the next drumstick. then, he points at my sign, smiles. the point changed to a thumbs up, and he threw a drumstick for me!! sadly, the person next to me managed to get a hold of it as well and yanked it out of my hand despite my clear grip on the bottom half of it. but the real ones (and the people around me) know he threw it to me :(

met up with @enragedtiefling and her hubby briefly at the end of the show before having to say goodbye, she gave dottie a bracelet and also two bracelets for me to give to miasma and belle.

vessel cosplayer found me and asked if i wanted a donut, but said "here, let me do this though" and motioned for me to bow my head down so they could place the donut on my horns i was wearing. very cute interaction and made me smile

and thats about all that i can remember without combing through song by song on the setlist. i will be stashing the little interaction with mountain right next to the memory of dew 'smoking' his pick in front of me during MOAC (which he did this show again, i saw him off to stage right) at my first ritual in '22 and throwing me the pick.

First things first, the past few days I have had time to think about what I want moving forward with this blog. I want to carry on, but I'm not prepared to receive the messages or have to defend myself so much for simply doing something I enjoy.

You don’t know who’s behind these blogs. You don’t know what they’re going through in real life. And you don’t get to decide what’s “okay” to say just because you’re behind an anonymous mask.

If you don’t vibe with my content, do not interact. Block me. Mute me. Curate your own space. But don’t come here with cruelty and act like it’s justified. We’re writing fanfiction, not committing crimes.

📝 A grammar lesson - AI and Editing

Let's clarify things here (because from the comments I had at the start of the week, a very small amount of people don’t know some of this).

'-' is used between words ('co-found', 'step-sibling').

'–' is used between numbers and dates (2000–2010, 12:50–12:00). - i dont often use these as i personally think they're ugly)

'—' is used for pretty much everything else (example: a break in text. "I can't do—" "yes you can").

Let's be clear here, I have been a university student for the past few years, and I know how to write grammatically correct (and no, I know I don't always do it). No, Em-dashes were not created by AI; it does not always indicate that AI was used. This conception was created because AI writes grammatically correct. But let's not forget, many people can also write grammatically correct.

On Windows, you can type '--' and it will automatically change to '—', on Mac, you can press 'option', 'shift' and '-' and it will change to '—'. You can change this (I personally don't know how because my partner did it for me, because I use '—' most commonly, so it was an easier option for me).

Let's clarify, using em dashes, en dashes, and Oxford commas does not prove something is written by AI; it simply indicates the writer knows how to use punctuation correctly.

Do I write every first draft of my fics with '—'? Yes.

Do I go back through them when editing and replace them with the wrong dash? Yes.

Why? Because people do not understand correct grammar, and with the work I put into each fic I write, I do not want people to think it's not me writing.

Do I also forget to change a few throughout, or miss some when editing? Yes. I'm dyslexic, I miss things, and there are spelling and other grammar mistakes throughout some of my fics, and I see no complaints about that.

Will I continue to change the dashes and hyphens I use? Yes. But again, some may be missed.

No, originally, I didn't change the '—' to '-' in the first chunk of my fics, because I never saw writing grammatically correct as an issue.

If you want to believe my fics are stolen, not written by me, or AI-generated, then please leave my page, block my account, and do not interact. We don't need negativity here. I do not want your opinions. I have explained before, I do not use AI, I don't know much about it, and quite frankly, it scares me.

I have also explained that my university work was flagged for AI, which led to countless meetings and having to show my supervisor and course leader how to access the different dashes on a keyboard. I got a first, one of the highest in my course overall, because of my writing and grammar. So yes, I write academically, and that's okay.

⏳ A Note on Time, Writing & Realistic Expectations

Let’s talk about time, because I think some people need a little behind-the-scenes insight into how this all works (despite the fact that I have spoken about this so much).

Before I even started this blog, I had already written over 300 fics for myself. I didn’t just wake up one day and start pumping out stories on demand; I’ve been writing privately for years. That’s why, when I post a long fic like All Eyes On Me or The Secret Girlfriend, it’s already pre-written. Usually 30+ chapters ahead. Why? Because I have ADHD. And sometimes, I get bored. I need to know I’ll still enjoy the story before I commit to sharing it; otherwise, I risk dropping it halfway through. That wouldn’t be fair on me, or on you.

Since launching this blog, I’ve been writing for 17 to 19 hours a day, sometimes more on nights when my insomnia kicks in. I type fast, thank you, university essay hell, and I plan fast. When requests come in, I already know what I’m going to write most of the time because I take notes and keep my inbox open. That prep helps more than people realise.

I also re-use parts of old, unpublished fics. I cut, reshape, and adapt things that I’ve previously written but never shared. It speeds up the process and helps me stay creative without starting from scratch every single time.

Sometimes my fics are only 200 words long. That’s something I can write in 10 minutes if I’ve already mapped it out. But that doesn’t mean it takes 10 minutes to plan, edit, or finalise. I also sometimes use dictation (hello, microphone) to get words out quicker, but trust me, editing audio-to-text is its own nightmare because grammar gets lost along the way.

I am not magic. I write every single word. Fics don’t appear out of thin air. And while I love writing more than anything, the truth is: this pace is not sustainable going forward.

I’ve been able to maintain it because I was in between finishing university and graduating. But now? Things are changing.

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned a job interview, and I’m so thrilled to share that I got the job I wanted. Which means I’ll soon be stepping into full-time work. And that means I will no longer be spending 17 hours a day writing fic. Or working in a place that allows be to sit on my laptop all day.

What does this mean going forward?

Fic output will slow down.

Requests will take longer, and I may not get to all of them.

I’ll be writing when I can, around my real-life job.

But I’m not leaving. I’m not giving up. This page isn’t going anywhere.

The pressure of starting a completely new job is something I will be dealing with, therefore, I will not be putting pressure on myself to write more than I can.

We’ll be shifting to a new, realistic, and sustainable schedule. One that allows me to enjoy writing again, and hopefully still gives you all the chaos, softness, and smut you’ve come to love.

This will also help me to stay on top of my masterlists.

🛠️ What I’ve Been Up To This Week

So... what have I been doing during my few days break?

Honestly? A lot more than I expected. I didn’t just disappear into the void (as tempting as that was), I’ve been using this time to reset, recharge, and get things a little more organised around here.

First of all: Masterlists have been updated! (multi-part fics will be linked together tomorrow!)

Second of all: new headers are coming. I’m gonna be real with you: I’ve been so bored with the “requests” header. So I’ve been playing around and designing some new ones that better reflect the tone and vibe of different fics. Expect to see those roll out soon, because it’s time for a little refresh. There may be a few variations of these, so keep an eye out for the pretty colours.

I’ve also been writing. Not as intensely as before, but enough to start building a stockpile. I’ve got a few pieces prepped and sitting in my drafts now, which means I’ve got backup content ready for those especially hectic weeks when I don’t have time to write in real time. It’s all about pacing myself better moving forward.

Some of them made me cry, not from hurt, but from how kind and supportive you all have been. I’ve read every single one. I wont be replying publicly to these but please know it’s been seen and felt. Deeply. And they will be staying in my inbox.

I’m so grateful for every one of you who took the time to send love, encouragement, support, jokes, memes, all of it. You’ve reminded me why I started sharing my work in the first place. And it means the world.

This weekend, you might see a few little extras or one-shots drop, but mostly, I’ll be writing ahead and prepping content for the future while I prepare mentally to start my new job on Monday. I won’t be very active, but everything will be scheduled.

📝 what to expect whilst i get back into a rhythm:

— long fics (‘all eyes on me’ & ‘the secret girlfriend’) returning to their usual update schedule slowly (possibly around the end of next week). (+ all eyes on me will be longer than 50 chapters, despite my original plan to end it at 50) — a mini series once a day at least — a few one-shots or spontaneous extras here and there. — a few trial schedules, until I find one that works for me and for you.

— paddock bunny (I love writing this, however I want to rewrite the parts I have in my drafts) — drivers in bed and series similar to this — drivers as and drivers reactions (these will come out more slowly as they take a lot of my effort to write, and I would rather do these as a little extra thing rather than a set fic.

it's true that every vessel can have something to do with each other, all of them can be connected to one central theme, but what draws me the most to them is the themes around betrayal and dehumanization, and how many parallels den and thorn have in their chapters. in both of them it takes effort for you to see a better side of them, it takes mutual trust and forgiveness because at some point that is all you will have

thorn is still skittish and petty, den is still present-minded and a bit sadistic at times. but they are both tired of being stuck on that mode, thorn literally tells you that straight up and den pleads for freedom when she realizes that's the only thing she can do. and trusting both of them is extremely fulfilling in their respective cases! thorn can finally put her walls down and den shows herself to be someone who not only helps in times of danger but also regretful for her actions and even loyal when given the reason to be. i dont think they'd get along headfirst, but once they do theyre inseparale, since they find someone else who was also offered a good ending after all the suffering and lost of sense of self

especially what comes to mind when talking abt them is thorn's like "how can we trust something as hollow as words?", bc den is all about action. after you firstly enter her lair you do not speak one single word for the entire route, and neither does she. thorn would rather trust someone who actively shows themself to be trustful than someone with nothing but promises. and den cant really do any, the promise is the act itself yknow

but also now going more into hc territory, i see them both as disabled, thorn having problems w coordination bc of her wounds and den, well, being mute (unless shifty is talking through her, but that hardly counts as her speaking), and i like to imagine that theyd help each other out :) den w more physical stuff while thorn helps with communication. oh dont even get me started on that too i have so much to talk abt regarding den's means for communication and how that could interfere w a lot of her interactions w the vessels and voices BUT THIS ISNT ABT THAT maybe another time

i also rlly like how if you keep up w the unhealthy cycle in both of them they will bring their previous tactics up in a heartbeat, thorn immediately going back to her defensiveness and absolute hatred for you and den losing herself while trying to sate her hunger. i wish more ppl talked abt those aspects of them theyre so interesting to talk abt, thorn just NOT letting you out in any way if you decide to betray her and den indulging herself in the fight almost like a mirror to hunted, how narrator is such a petty asshole in both of them when youre trying to do the right thing

also i wanted to avoid talking abt them being cats and all that but i do wanna mention how that motif is used to show completely different outcomes from their previous chapters, to get to thorn witch has to regret her actions and think more abt that fucked up relationship thats been doing nothing but tiring her up, thus letting her guard down and get less skittish (yknow, like a cat) while den happens when you dehumanize the princess in such a way that it gives her no alternative other than becoming that monster you saw her as, even taking her voice away from her, any visual resemblance of her humanity being completely gone, a huge contrast to thorn. and yet they both had the same trigger to their transformations: betrayal. you gave them no reason to trust you, or no reason to believe that you would listen to their wishes without a price. they would find solace in each other for their loyalty and care that will show itself to be boundless when you give them the chance to show it!

i think that should cover up my general liking for them ehehe... thanks for giving me the chance to ramble

hmmmm... how would the bats + clark and kon + bart + Hal (or whoever you want) be with a partner that wanted to wait until marriage? 🩷

disclaimer: not everyone is going to be okay with this, i hope everyone understands that. yes, i could use the excuse "well if you love someone enough.." but i actually know people who've dealt with this. it's unrealistic that everyone would be fine with it, even loving someone. i also don't have this marked as rated as its not inherently sexual.

❌️ kon: going straight off the fact his creator has said his sexual appetite would be large and as much as i'd love to say he'd brush it off.. i feel like he wouldn't? not saying he's a nympho or anything, but i don't see him as the highest on the list to be with someone like this. ( modern kon/v2+ would probably be a little more willing. )

✅️ bart: i feel like he'd be fine with someone who barely ever wanted things like that at all - waiting wouldn't bother him. granted, he is very much a kiss and holding hands person, he'd be pretty chill with waiting. he's kind of got the "oh shit you picked ME?" vibe of half the traumatized characters in dc, so he'd be a lot more into emotional intimacy - despite that scaring him shitless - than physical.

❌️/✅️ jason: i am going to be so fucking honest and say he could go either way and yes, it would fully depend on his feelings for the person. i don't consider jason a sexual character but he's also barely got romantic experience. my own breakdown would be yes, he would, but i view jason as someone who would be happy having a partner with heavy emotional intimacy and he would wait, because he'd want his partner. that being said, i dont like all interactions of him and i'm pretty theres a few that would be against it.

❌️ bruce: another disapproving gasp from the crowd. bruce seeks physical before he seeks emotional. not to mention, uh, he's canonically pretty active without another formal relationship. i just don't see him as being the type. he wouldn't be a dick about it and would respect your choice, also wishing you find someone, but also not being able to be that person.

✅️ dick: fuck how people write him, i stand by the fact he's said on more than one occasion he can't sleep with someone without emotional connection. i feel like.. he'd probably be the type where he'd have times where it would make him squirm, possibly just take care of himself but he's also pretty emotional and incredibly respectful.

❌️ hal: i have, begrudgingly, come to like hal thanks to two very annoying people that know exactly who they are, but i do fear he would very much not be the type to wait. not being an asshole, he's just.. a more physical love type person.

✅️ damian: damian would probably do just about anything for someone he was even remotely thinking of marrying. you don't even understand- i've written so many posts about how damian loves in general. he's incredibly respectful and also the type to consider something like that sacred. he would be more than willing to wait.

✅️ tim: setting aside my general asexual vibes from, i am pretty positive he wouldn't give a shit. you could be married and still not sleeping together and he'd probably just.. be fine. he's not really physically impulsive and more often than not has something more important going on. that being said, he's not just avoiding physical things - affection is there, but it doesn't have to move forward until you're ready for it. depending on what's going on, he possibly wouldn't even be.

✅️ clark: 🤨 i have to explain this? now, i dont like when he's written as.. infantalized like he's never thought of sex before, it's weird, but i also don't think he's out here acting like a dog in heat. he's.. probably one of these most respectful characters in dc and also never written as driven by sex. as long as there is affection, communication, and emotional intimacy, he's good to wait.

✅️ barry: yes. yes he would. he's also another character who's never much been implied in sexual situations. he's also pretty respectful and im pretty sure its just a traumatized speedster thing to crave emotional intimacy and validation over physical.

Forgive me if you've already answered this, but what would you recommend for people that want to develop their own alternate universes? What things should be considered and what are some good places to jump off from when developing one?

Hoo boy this is a doozy to answer.

I had a whole thing typed up about my opinions on like... AUs and stuff, but I realized it had me talking in circles, so we're gonna try again.

The way I started The Truth was just with a question: "How would Susie and Noelle react if they found out about the SOUL?"

And sure, an innocuous question to start with. Surely you could write a story where they find out and just talk to Kris about it, end it there, call it a day, right? But that's where the interesting part starts: You take that initial question, and keep pushing for more.

"How would Susie's and Noelle's reactions differ?" "What would Noelle do if left alone with the SOUL?" "What is the SOUL's goal and reason for being there?" "What is going on with the SOUL, seeing as they're typically the player?"

And then allowing it to waterfall from there.

Ultimately, AUs start with a concept or question for me. I like to put characters in situations that force them into positions where they have to take actions and actively CHOOSE to do things, even if what they're choosing to do is nothing - and that choice actually defining them, their goals, opinions, and who they are.

The biggest weakness I've seen of AUs in the Undertale fandom is that they aren't there to tell their own story (a majority of the time anyway), they're there to retell a story already told, just a little to the left: If they're all evil, if they're in space, if they're a mafia. It isn't doing something new with the characters to tell the same story over again - and hey, if that's fun for you, that's great! But that's not what I like to do.

In my opinion, AUs are at their strongest when characters are given time, space, and reasons to take actions of their own accord outside of the given narrative of the original story. It doesn't even need to be a comic in order to do that either! you can have an askblog with premade sprites that does this, or write a fanfiction, or what have you. I just think it's far more interesting to tell a story of "what-ifs" that actively take the characters and put them in circumstances they don't normally interact with.

Hell, just look at my favorite AU from the Undertale fandom (and a minor inspiration for The Truth), The Thought. The whole concept was what if sans did something, what if he took action, before the judgement hall?

Something like that spirals into how each character would react differently according to their personalities and given portrayals in the game, alongside the way they all bounce off each other, how their separate goals conflict or align. It's a good AU not because of the concept of "Sans absorbs all the human souls" - honestly im sure you can find a million of those.

It's interesting because of how it uses that conflict to spur the story. How the characters act, react, go forward; THAT'S what making an AU, in my opinion, is about. Finding those sources of potential conflict, things that characters do or say (or DONT do or DONT say) that change the entire course of the story.

Just off the top of my head I can think of plenty, but what AU YOU make should be one YOU'RE interested in, and one YOU have fun making.

Sorry this got so wordy, but I have a LOT of opinions on AUs after my time in the Undertale fandom and the way they were utilized. I haven't seen many in the Deltarune fandom (the only one I've seen is Twin Runes, and I haven't read it yet) but I do hope to see more with unique premises beyond "edgy" or "swapped dynamics" lmao. If that's something you like that's great, but I'm hoping someone's out there making the Deltarune version of The Thought lmaoooo

basically like. what does the game you're playing actually codify as meaningful ways to interact with the world and meaningful consequences of failure

it's really strange playing a mid-length campaign of changeling: the lost when i've been a dnd 5e player and dm for so long. i've played plenty of other games as well, but none of them for more than a short arc at most. and it's so interesting to me to see like. what things actually get to take up real estate?

in 5e (2014, i aint looked at the new stuff), most of the character sheet for most of the classes is taken up by different ways to get to the same end goal of killing someone. it's been a big challenge for me to run a campaign for the last three years where killing people is not The Point because then most of the player characters don't get to use almost anything on their character sheet for the majority of the sessions we run. trying to figure out how to make sessions equally as engaging for the fighter and the monk compared to how often the magical characters got to interact with the mechanics ... difficult!

and then, like. dnd doesnt really give you any meaningful, lasting consequences outside of death. you can make up narrative ones, but then you're doing all the work and, again, just kind of making something up. it's a challenge based game, but the only lasting consequence is that you die, and the only meaningful outcome for 90% of the character abilities is that the other person dies instead

but then, on my changeling's character sheet ... most of the space is taken by abilities like learning facts about the world ... being able to pinpoint other characters' sadness and steal it away from them ... my point-bought npc allies ... being able to eat gross food (she's a weird dog) ... sure, new world of darkness has plenty of rules about combat, but that takes up a small fraction of my character sheet compared to how i interact with the narrative

most consequences i've encountered so far are driven by the non-violence aspects of the story as well. my pc swore an oath on her own name, so if she didn't complete the mission, she could've lost it. she's encountered things that reminded her of her past trauma, and almost lost her mental grasp on her human life. she swore herself to her friend group, so if she betrays them, she gets magically debuffed ... etc. plenty of mechanical support for combat, but it's only one of many many ways to interact mechanically with the world and story being told

having played a good host of other systems as well that give the players more diverse tools in their toolbox even while having rules for combat, it's kind of like ... well no wonder i keep seeing dms ask how to stop their players from murdering everything in their path. a lot of those players only have hammers, what else are they meant to do to feel like theyre actually interacting with the game? if their two buttons are "improv speech" and "hit you with a sword" and they dont know what to say ... well, i guess its the sword

i assume it would be generally agreed upon that the best rules are ones players actually want to use. so with spiritkeep i've been trying to figure out ... what story are these rules really telling? what story do i want them to tell? if you're trying to tell a story in dnd that isn't exclusively about lethal violence, it's really difficult to do that without most of the session being improv theater!

so i am working on creating a game where the players are excited to use their abilities, because those abilities tell a good story. and the story i want to tell is ultimately one of compassion despite hardship, growth despite trauma, messiness despite effort, and overcoming the incredible trials of being a person and all of the hardship that comes with that. a lot of room on the character sheet is taken up by abilities that let you help the team accomplish goals, but at the cost of wearing yourself out ... and if you wear yourself out too much youre going to suffer, but if you dont want to suffer, well, then, here's a neat little mechanic you can use to get rid of your debuff (experiencing care and compassion from others)

i know there is going to be some sort of system for violence (not combat) and the mechanical effects of injuries and such, because this is meant to emulate real life to some (fantasy flavored) degree, and violence and injuries are things that happen in the real world with regularity. but i want to avoid ludonarrative dissonance by putting too many hammers in the toolbox of a game thats meant to help players heal from trauma, so still figuring out what the right balance of that is :)

I used to be Very anti-ship, because I had viscerally terrible reactions to a lot of Pro-Ship content due to trauma as a minor, and then I did what anti's keep telling people to do, and got Therapy, specifically three separate therapists, one who specializes in helping with gender dysphoria, general anxiety and depression, one who specializes in EMDR for reprocessing trauma, and one who specializes in helping people through sexual trauma, OCD, and sexual repression. The last one, after discussing my trauma with her and how it Related to the pro/anti discourse, quite literally told me I needed to remove myself from anti spaces because they were 100% enabling and reinforcing my moral OCD, and then sent me to a Childhood SA support group so that I could gain the support of other victims and understand experiences regarding it outside of my own. I learned that despite my own negative reaction to anything regarding age gap/p*dophilia/noncon, I am Not the only victim that exists and my experiences and feelings are Not universal, and a lot of other victims??? They develop kinks around those topics pretty commonly instead. One, because kinks are Developmental, (as in you Don't really get a say in what kinks you have just like you don't really get a say in anything else regarding your sexuality and sexual fantasies, and also that external factors like trauma can cause new kinks to develop whether you actually want them or not.) and Two, that these kinks, when applied to consenting adults doing a scene or in fiction, actually help a lot of victims reprocess their trauma in a way which makes them feel safe, and reclaim a lot of their experiences and feelings regarding what was done to their body for themself rather than feeling like it is all still lorded over by the memory of their abusers. So, I think pretty vehemently, if you're an anti, you should consider getting therapy and talking to someone who deals with sexual repression and moral OCD symptoms. Because "if you think about, enjoy, or are aroused by XYZ topic you're disgusting and a predator and should do something to Fix your Broken Head" is dead ass a symptom of moral OCD and sexual repression.

Any "your therapist is wrong : /" type comments will be blocked immediately, because that is Some (ignorant) Self Confidence you have, saying you think you know more than a therapist who has A) been working with SA survivors for the past twenty five years (longer than I have been alive) with almost nothing but positive feedback from their patients and B) has personally helped me to completely stop physically self harming due to my OCD, and has significantly reduced my similarly related substance abuse and emotional self harm issues as well. Like I don't trust y'all's opinion nearly as much as a dedicated professional who has done nothing but help me heal.
