kinda crazy that there is reason to believe SNW S3 will have some spirk-age, finally, even after all of the heterosexual plotlines that are straight up either OOC or just... do not work with star trek canon at all

and i just have... no interest in seeing it, even in out of context gifsets

because like... that's not my spock

and its crazier to say that because like!!! AOS does just as much, if not more, to fuck with characters and is... infinitely straighter and yet it still GETS THEM so much better AND exists on the very premise that this ISN'T THEM like this is spcok, this is kirk if everything is different

their hearts are the same, though much younger, but they're Spock and Kirk's Hearts In A Whole Other world

meanwhile SNW is like "here are your beloved spock and kirk if everything is the same but actually literally nothing makes sense anymore" and its just soo wrong

like how do you manage to make the prospect of more spirk... boring? ooc?

The first two episodes of season 17 will be uploaded to a folder on both my Google Drive and Mega* after they air. I'm not sure how long it'll take to upload, so give it a bit if it's not showing up right away. As always, I'll upload higher quality Hulu rips (without commercials) some time after it releases at ~3-4am EST.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, the Abbott half of the crossover is already uploaded to both folders.

I will continue to update these weekly, just as I did last season, but please be aware that this arrangement is subject to potential technical difficulties, may have stream hiccups, commercial breaks, etc. and is meant solely as a stopgap for anyone who wants to watch it as close to its live release as possible. You may want to wait for the Hulu rips if you can.

*During the S16 premiere, people experienced an issue on Google Drive where it would give an error if too many people were watching/downloading the file at the same time, so I recommend using Mega instead.

i think every company that tried to go all in on the AI tech craze owes us all reparations for subjecting us to the most insufferable onslaught of performative advertising that's ever been witnessed on this earth

#i actually feel a level of unspeakable hostility when i see an ad for anything AI related #and it's not just because of the ethics of it / environmental impacts etc #it's the fact that it's been injected into EVERYTHING #even places where it really doesn't serve ANY functional or practical purpose #having to hear techbros preach AI at you is as enjoyable as having a toddler throw up on you as you're taking off on a 12 hour flight #i watch youtube on my ps4 and thus get ads and every second or third is some ai garbage trying to entice me to be meaninglessly lazier
