"What is beetledump?" your simpleminded brain may be thinking. Well, my friend, take a seat.

Beetledump is a story of a dinosaur, and the president of the United States, Donald Trump, falling for the charming, and miniature, Beetlejuice.

Along the way, Trump (unwillingly) receives help and companionship from a large cast of characters; most notibly Yaoi Jesus, Yuri Jesus, Elon Musk, Jimmy Marcus Hilda, Obama (from starclan) and Ōkina Atama.

Bruce would give up the mission if Dick ever died. And not in the angry-grief way of "this is the last straw on the camel's back" aka the way he sorta kicked Dick out, but in the "hasn't set foot in the Cave in over a month because the last time he did he kept hearing Dick's laugh echoing across the stalactites" way. He literally cannot bear to put on the cowl, to be Batman, because Batman has existed longer with Robin than without. Bruce doesn't remember being Batman without Robin (without Dick) anymore. He can recall his first meetings with a few of the Rogues, but beyond that? It's been so long that those first 2-4 years are all just a haze of self destructive grief. Dick flipped his entire life in a 180 to the total opposite direction. He showed him how to hope, to love, to live. If Dick dies as an adult, Bruce would've spent half his life with his first son. No matter what age Dick dies at, Bruce will have always spent more time being Batman with Dick Grayson as a son rather than without him. Dick changed Batman, changed Bruce so irrevocably that Bruce wouldn't ever be able to wear the cowl without remembering him.

think it'd be really cool if percy could teleport using water. just needing to be in direct contact with a water source to transfer from one puddle to the next. cornering monsters in damp alleyways like it's no one's business. foregoing the subway when the forecast calls for showers. crossing the ocean quicker that you can say pacific. quality content.

Cannot get the transfemininity of Deltarune out of my head today, specifically Dess Holiday as a kinda tragic and beautifully transgressive perspective on womanhood. This was gonna be a tag rant on another post but I got sick of trying to cut it down short enough to fit in relatively few tags so I guess I'm just gonna throw it out there as an original post? This might get a bit long and tangent-heavy but god I need to get it out of my system at least a bit.

Okay so. Dess is so so so resonant to my experience with (trans)femininity, especially given her thematic connections to the Knight. Like. What if you were constantly told that, if you’re gonna be a woman, there’s only one way you’re allowed to do it. What if you were constantly compared to your sister and your mother and expected to end up becoming them rather than being your own person. What if you had to hide and downplay your interests because if you made them too apparent people would ignore your identity and write you off as a problem child and a bad influence. What if people criticized your clothes and your music taste as offensive and inappropriate. What if, when you changed too much of yourself in response to both self discovery and trauma, you ended up being removed from the narrative, from the only community you’ve ever known. What if your name became scandalous and everyone tried so so hard to forget you. What if they left you for dead, but never put up a gravestone under your name. What if you became something new, something mysterious that pokes holes in the logic of the world and challenges the basic social fiber. What if people used that as an excuse to frame you as a legendary villain, the monstrous beast, the antagonist in the story that they have told for time immemorial. What if you decided that maybe the world as we know it does need to end, to be replaced with something that can accommodate a boisterous and weird and confident and self-assured woman like you. ghhhhh i’m biting and tearing this is literally what it’s like to be a trans woman!!!!!

Beksinski study in the face of Dongsik's trauma.

This is inspired by Beksinski's tree/root guy, because it's one of my favorite paintings of his.

The reed field and the tree roots symbolizing Manyang and its influence on him and then later his depression. The things he cannot escape, because they're now a part of him. The stitches on his neck for his silence. And flowers for the people he lost. Them also being skeleton flowers that stand for impermanence of life.

What I adore about Beksinski's paintings is that he always said they have no meaning and refused to speak on that or even name them, but they still have so much symbolism in them. This is literally why ai cannot replicate human art. Even when Beksinski didn't want it to have meaning, his human experience, imagination, and everything he saw in his life was still projected onto his canvases. Doesn't matter how many times a machine tries to do that, it just can't, because it has no ability to experience things.
