Yes. You are racist. (Buckle up, this is gonna be a long one)

So approximately half a year since the premier of the Disney+ Percy Jackson show, and almost two years since the announcement of the Trio's casting, I would like to take this moment to look back at the insane, racist and anti-black backlash that was launched at Leah Sava Jeffries and a few other cast members from the PJO fandom.

I'm not concerned with the trolls who are openly racist, who resorted to racist slurs and outright threats, everyone agrees that they "took it too far". I want to talk about the rest of you, the "I'm not racist, but.." people, the "What's wrong with wanting book accuracy?" people. Just to let you know, for the unasked question... yes, yes you are.

I've noticed the Percy Jackson fandom has been lording some weird superiority complex over a certain *unnamed* fandom that has fallen out of grace due to their recently outed bigot of an author. But honestly, y'all are not much different. The amount of vitriol and anti-blackness I have seen from this fandom (beyond just bullying a 12 year old girl), y'all don't have a leg to stand on.

Below is a breakdown of the most common arguments I have seen used to justify y'alls absolutely insane bigotry. I am going to explain why none of these justify the amount of anger and vitriol y'all have sent towards Leah, Rick or any of the cast.

I am not here to argue, and this is not a democracy. I am giving you a chance for some self-reflection and to understand that this pattern of violence directed towards POC actors (mostly black women) has never been justified in the name of "book accuracy"/"comic book accuracy"/"ending forced diversity" or whatever other excuses y'all try to make up.

If you still try to justify or argue further for any of these points, I will just block you. I am not coddling you through your racism. If anyone has seen any other dumb arguments floating around that I might've missed, feel free to sound off in the comments.

She's not book accurate:

Neither is Percy, Luke, Grover, Dionysus, Poseidon, and just about every other named character.

Rick already made it clear that physical features were not the priority with casting, rather it was actors that embodied the role. So why are the biggest complaints about Annabeth and Zeus? 🤔

What? You're gonna say everyone else got backlash too? I see you trying to obscure the main issue by playing dumb 😉

See my friend, yes, there were one or two comments about how Percy's hair should be black or how Luke is supposed to be blonde, but as soon as Leah was cast, none of those actors got any significant backlash. In fact, Walker and Charlie literally have an army of fan girls at their beck and call, calling them the perfect Percy and Luke, despite neither being "Book accurate". But then again, have we not observed the pattern of White boy of the month vs WOC to hate for the year? (Yes, I know Charlie isn't white. Further adds to the irony, doesn't it).

Why include character descriptions if you won't stay true to them, you cry? Well, my dear sweet moron, see, books and TV are two different mediums. Because in literature, you can't *Literally* SEE the characters, the author has to add descriptions to paint a picture in your mind, in TV... that's not an issue. So unless the character's appearance is necessary to the plot (like Luke's scar, or Nico being Italian) the show runners can actually focus on more important things.. Like ACTING and PERSONALITY.

2. It's just not how I imagined her:

News flash, babe! ANNABETH ISN'T REAL. None of these character are. They are concepts that originated from the brain of Mr. Rick Riordan. It doesn't matter how YOU imagined her. There are millions of people who read these books that imagined her several different ways. When the creator of the character watched Leah's audition and said, 'Yes! She embodies the character I created!", your imagined version of Annabeth ceased to matter. And guess what? The books still exist... they have not been burned. Your version of Annabeth has not disappeared. Go read the books.

3. Zeus can't be black/Gods have to be Greek/*Insert Character* can't be black:

Y'all did not read the books, I swear. You have to be fake fans looking to troll atp.

The gods move based off the center of western civilization. They change their forms/environment to reflect the culture they are occupying (they did it with Rome, now they're doing it with America). The gods change forms all the time. How we see them is not their true form as a mortal would disintegrate if they were to see their true form.

America is a cultural melting pot (specifically NY where Mount Olympus is now based). If the god's choose forms that reflect the current society they inhabit, they could literally be any race (keep in mind NYC is only 33% white).

All of this is literally SPELLED OUT in the Lightning Thief.

Furthermore, if you're going to push the ethnically Greek thing... Poseidon is British with a British accent and Hermes is Latino. The only ethnically Greek actor is Dionysus (who still doesn't look book accurate). Y'all are sounding like some white supremacists because do you forget that race is a social construct?

Before the advent of the transatlantic slave trade, I can promise you that the Greeks and the Anglo-Saxons did NOT view themselves as the same people. Why are y'all not taking issue with Poseidon's actor then?

Also, Percy Jackson has canonically had a slew of explicitly black demigods since the second book (including Harriet Tubman, which I have mixed feelings about 😭), so I genuinely have no idea where some of y'all are going with this point.

4. She was our smart blonde representation:

Don't pmo. I swear to God!

White, blonde women have NEVER been excluded from Hollywood. Representation is not something you lacked. The dumb blonde stereotype was a simple branch off of a larger misogynistic "dumb woman" stereotype. It has not truly been relevant since the mid 2000s outside of childish jokes.

This iteration of Percy Jackson will probably not go beyond the first 5 books, based off pacing and the age of the actors. So here's a fun game: 5 bucks to the first person who can find me a quote in the first 5 Percy Jackson books, where Annabeth laments her insecurities about being blonde (hint: there aren't any).

Also, her blonde hair does not hold her back at Camp because she is head of the Athena Cabin who are highly respected (and guess what?), ARE ALL BLONDE!

Her insecurities about her hair color are two or three lines at most in the later books, not this fundamental, core part of her character y'all all of a sudden wanna pretend it was. And guess what, as a non-blonde black girl, I was able to read those scenes of Annabeth feeling undervalued because of her looks and relate to her even if she didn't look like me at the time.

Why all of a sudden can y'all not do that with a black Annabeth? By every metric black girls are undervalued for their intelligence in academia more than white girls are, regardless of hair color. So your little representation of a woman undervalued by her looks would still hold. Do y'all dehumanize black women so much, that you are incapable of empathizing with show!Annabeth's plight in the way I could with Book!Annabeth simply because she doesn't look exactly like you?

Your issue isn't that she isn't blonde, it's that she is NOT WHITE.

Furthermore, Becky Riordan had tweeted previously (before the show was even cast) that Annabeth never needed to be blonde (probably recalling the BS y'all put Alexandra Daddario through), so even if they cast a white Annabeth, the blonde hair was never a guarantee. the author and producers all agree that it was not a significant part of her character. It's been a non-issue since day one.

Also, stop acting like smart blondes are rare in media... If you don't go watch some Legally blonde, Iron Man (Pepper Potts), Zack and Cody (Maddie), Liv and Maddie, FMAB (Winry), Captain Marvel, She-Ra, Buffy, The boys (starlight) etc. etc., and go sit down somewhere 🙄🙄🙄 (those were literally all things I've watched recently, off the top of my head, btw 💀)

5. It's not about race, but...:

Yes it is. It was always bout race. No other actors got as much hate as Leah. Her grandmother and other family members on IG had to mute their comments because they were getting so many threats.

Alexandra Daddario had to come to her defense on Twitter. Rick had to put out an official statement on his website. This girl has endured years of psychological torment for simply having the best audition. No one else is book accurate, no one else is ethnically Greek (except Jason Mantzoukas). Walker literally has British and German ancestry.

Why was she being called racial slurs on reddit and in youtube comments?

I know what you're gonna say, "I actually had problems with the entire cast", "I actually had a bigger issue with Walker's hair color", blah blah blah. Then why aren't you in Walker's comment sections? Why are you only making your displeasure known on posts defending/advocating for Leah? Why is she always your first example of 'wrong casting"?

Well, she "looks the most different"... Look up the term "scapegoating".

"Oh, I don't agree with the harassment. I just don't like the casting." Guess what? She's already been cast. They are not going to uncast her. What do you get out of still complaining about it.

All the vitriol you're stirring about her when you complain about her on Social media, it is directing people to send her hate, even if you're not writing it directly. It's is not enough to "not agree" with the racism, it is your duty to actively prevent it. And btw, these are young gen z actors, they are active on social media. They see the edits of themselves (even comment on it) and they most likely see these little "harmless" complaints you're posting. Are your upset feelings really worth contributing to the racist dogpile on this poor girl?

6. Why couldn't they atleast give her blonde braids?:

Why should they? Y'all wanted blonde because of the "dumb blonde" trope... that doesn't apply to POC.

A blonde black girl is gonna be viewed the same as a non-blonde black girl (or at worst, someone might decide she's "ratchet" or some shit for wearing colored hair). What difference would it make?

Why shouldn't Walker dye his hair, then?

7. Annabeth has Gray eyes:

Less than 3% of the global population has "gray eyes". Even if they cast a white actor, they would've needed contacts. Her being black is not the reason Annabeth's eyes aren't gray. Simply put, it is a plot element they removed, like the whole "names have power" element, or Ares having flames for eyes, or Dionysus using his powers to grow strawberries at Camp.

That's how adaptations work. Unnecessary plot elements are cut to save time and budget. This has nothing to do with her casting. They probably also didn't want to make child actors wear contacts (not a new practice).

8. Even if Rick chose her, he was wrong/Disney is forcing him to be okay with it:

Where do I start? Rick created the character. He can't be wrong. Do y'all have no self-awareness? Death of the author has no place here, because y'all are hung up on an aspect of the character that is not relevant to her arc or development.

Y'all's justification for wanting a "book accurate" Annabeth is that she was such an inspirational and important character growing up, and yet your behavior is so in conflict with the character you claim means so much to you. You're narrow minded, dismissive of bigotry and injustice, and disrespectful to the wishes of the creator of your favorite character; everything that Annabeth would never be. Y'all were never genuine fans of the books. You're bigots that needed an outlet for your rage.

Keep in mind, Rick has said countless times that PercaBeth directly mirrors his relationship with his wife. Y'all think he would have allowed them to cast someone who doesn't live up to the woman who has been by his side for decades? The mother of his children?

Regarding Disney forcing him, show me one piece of direct evidence that proves Disney in anyway pressured Rick to cast her. Cuz if you can't, that's baseless speculation. And if you have to resort to baseless speculation, maybe try to examine why it's so important to you to hold on to this belief.

9. So, I'm racist because I hate "race swapping"?:

To start, there is a difference between "race swapping" and "color blind casting". Often times, when y'all complain about the former, you're actually mad about the latter.

It would be "race swapping" if Rick and the team decided ahead of time that they wanted a black Annabeth and ONLY allowed black actors to audition. But the actual reality was that they accepted auditions from everyone (there were white actors and non-black poc that also auditioned for the role) and chose the best person who embodied the role. They didn't "make Annabeth black" and they didn't "make Zeus black", they cast black actors for those roles.

Y'all think you're being slick with your wording. Dismissing that is implying that they did not earn their roles fair and square. Which is racist. It's the equivalent of going up to a black college student and telling them they only got in because of affirmative action. You're dismissing the achievements of a person solely because of their racial background.

For all you people complaining about "unfairness" and "forced diversity", I would think hiring based on merit would appeal to you 🤔

71% of theatrical Hollywood leads were white in 2024 in comparison to 29% POC and you still think "black washing" is a thing? You still get this angry over a black person fairly earning a role because you think in a time where Hollywood only knows to do remakes and adaptations, that the majority of lead roles still *have* to be reserved for white actors?

Once again, white people have never been excluded from Hollywood for being white. Representation has never been something you lacked nor is it something you can lose. Your anger comes from seeing a black face where you think they don't belong. Because you feel you are owed a disproportion of representation in Hollywood.

10. Woke agenda/DEI/Forced Diversity:

If you are unironically using any of these terms in a negative light, it's already too late for me to reason with you. Look up the term "dog whistle". If you are sharing the same terminology with Elon Musk and his fanboys, maybe reevaluate some things.

POC are objectively underrepresented and have been historically excluded through actual laws and policies in Hollywood. There is no such thing as "forced diversity", you have bought in to a right wing conspiracy theory.

"Woke" is a term that was intentionally appropriated from the black community. It originally meant being aware of injustice and systematic threats to the community and is now being weaponized by bigots. Good job.

Diversity and inclusion is a good thing.

11. But POC deserve to have their own stories told:

We do. And we have been fighting for it for over a century now, and we've made great strides, no thanks to y'all.

No thanks to y'all gaslighting us about how little representation we get or that representation matters at all. No thanks to y'all pushing the idea that POC can't sell globally and obscuring POC actors in international promos. No thanks to y'all continuing to whitewash even to this day (Bullet train, the beguiled, gods of Egypt, atla, every portrayal of Jesus ever, etc.). No thanks to y'all calling every piece of media that has more than one black lead and more than one queer couple "woke". No thanks to y'all throwing a fit every time a black person in a fantasy setting isn't a slave.

Fact of the matter is, y'all never cared about POC "getting their own stories", you're only parroting our own words back to us now as a politically correct way of saying, "leave white roles alone" lmao

Well fun fact, actors of color getting opportunities to play lead roles and allowing poc to "tell their own stories" are not mutually exclusive. If y'all cared that much, instead of bullying a 12 year old actress, you could actually support up and coming independent POC writers, directors, and studios 😱

12. Studios need to stop "setting up" actors of color:

Do me a favor and google the term DARVO.

Your racism is not the fault of the studios for giving a POC actor a role that they earned. It is not up to the rest of society to tiptoe around racists to avoid their vitriol. It is our responsibility to hold them accountable and protect minorities from unwarranted hate. At most, you can say it's the responsibility of the studios to provide adequate support to POC actors who face this backlash.

At the end of the day, Hollywood only allows very few spots for POC actors (especially WOC), while simultaneously pushing a new white boy every month to put in everything. Putting minorities in these roles that are usually closed to them, usually opens the door to more actors of color than before.

Brandy being cast as Cinderella did a lot to push her into the mainstream (yes, she was already extremely famous in the black community atp), Halle Berry being the first, black, bond girl literally shot her to icon status, and even going as far back to what Anna Mae Wong did for Asian American actresses with her "femme fatale" roles.

At the end of the day, even with the backlash, *some* rep does more good for POC actors than *no* rep. The solution to racist backlash isn't to take away those opportunities, but rather to not be racist??? 🙄

Also, for everyone that claims that "POC race-swapping" is just as bad as "white-washing", despite white washing having a longer history and objectively causing more harm, note how the backlash to white washing never lasts as long as the harassment that POC get.

Like, no one brings up Scarlett Johansson's ghost in the shell role anymore, but you can best believe Candace Patton is still fending off racist trolls. As much as people hated the atla movie, people moved on quick from Nicola Peltz playing Katara since she was just a kid that accepted the role (re: daddy bought her the role), but y'all would not have any of that consideration for Leah Sava Jeffries.

But I digress...

13. What if we made Tiana white? Wakanda white? Hazel white...:

Ah, my favorite inane point. I was so excited to get here :)

See, I could start out by pointing out how "White washing" and casting a POC actor as a traditionally white character are not equivalent.

I could point out the history of hollywood ACTIVELY excluding POC actors and POC stories. I could point out how grossly over represented white people are in hollywood. I could point out that POC characters are so few in comparison that whitewashing them causes actual harm, where white people have never lacked rep.

I could point out how, because poc characters and stories are so often tokenized that their racial/cultural background is often directly tied to their character's identity, in opposition to a lot of white characters, since hollywood treats white as the "Default".

See, I could make all those points, but the thing is, the people who make this argument already know all that. They are trying to waste time by drawing me into a pointless circular argument that will sum up to "fair is fair", while ignoring all the context and nuance I previously provided.

So you know what? Forget it. Let me play your game.

I am actually fine with a white Tiana. Would it make sense, for her and her family to experience Jim Crow era racism, in the south while white? No. But we can look past it. Disney was never known for historical accuracy anyway 🤷🏿‍♀️

However, in exchange, the live action frozen will have a black Elsa and Anna, live action Rapunzel will be black, live action Merida will be black, we're re-filming Cinderella and Beauty and the beast to cast a black belle and Cindy, snow white will need to be recast as black, and we also get aurora whenever the live action sleeping beauty is announced. But then y'all can keep Tiana, deal?

You want a white T'Challa? Fine! (I'm partial to Ryan gosling), in the meantime, we'll be recasting Iron man, Captain America (Steve version), Bruce banner, Thor, Loki, hawk eye, black widow, ant man, captain marvel, Bucky, Peter Parker etc. All the avengers and their side characters, then y'all can have Sam Wilson, war machine and the whole of Wakanda (will it make sense that a sole, hidden, African nation is randomly made up of white people? Who cares? We get the avengers!).

You want white Hazel? You got her! I hope you have no problem with us taking Percy, Nico, Will, Poseidon, Jason, calypso, Rachel, Tyson, Silena, the stoll brothers, Sally Jackson, Hades, Hepheastus, ares, etc. But y'all can have Hazel and Beckendorf.

If we're gonna do this, let's commit all the way. Fair is fair, after all.

14. Leah isn't as "pretty" as Book Annabeth/Movie Annabeth:

I wish I could say this wasn't a genuine point I had read, but when all else fails, they will always go for a woman's appearance.

Now first of all, as a rule, I will never hold black women to white beauty standards. Our hair will never be long and silky enough, our nose will never be narrow enough, our skin will never be fair enough and our eyes will never be light enough (Might I recommend Toni Morrison, when you get the chance?). But Leah is unfairly gorgeous idc what any of you say, and you're not gonna have me use my defense of Leah as an opportunity to bash Alexandra either because she is also beautiful. These two queens slayed to the best of their abilities within this toxic ass fandom.

I find it funny, however, that so many of you harped on the "blonde" issue because you thought it was important that Annabeth be seen beyond just her looks, but quickly devolve to bashing an actress's looks when it comes to why she's not right for this role 🤔

I would also like to sincerely apologize that the 13 year old girl they cast in the show, wasn't as sexually attractive to you as the 24 year old woman they cast in the movie and sexualized through like 25% of her screen time (I'm actually not sorry. You're very weird if this is an actual point for you).

15. I don't agree with sending hate to the actor, but she's just not right for the role:

Once again, what are you doing by complaining about her casting on no other basis than her race?

The creator of the character said she embodied the role. She has already been cast, and Disney would be in a legal/production hell to recast her atp. Just because you're not directly leaving comments on her social media doesn't mean you're not part of the hate mob.

No matter how you look at it, your issues with her casting come from a very entitled and narrow-minded place. When you join in on these dialogues you are bolstering a sentiment that pushes more people to harass this teenage girl. When you leave these "harmless" complaints, on show content, fan posts or posts defending her, she's liable to read them because the cast regularly interact with fans online.

What do you have to say that is so important that it trumps protecting a young girl from the long-staying trauma of racism, of being told she doesn't deserve something she worked for because of how she was born?

16. I can't even criticize the show without being called racist:

Get. Over. Yourself.

Y'all are not the victim. Have fans of the show gotten protective of Leah and the young cast? Yes.

With good reason. This fandom is unbearably toxic.

Racism outweighs your need for a "perfect adaptation", sorry.

If you explain yourself properly and keep your critiques fair (like, even I don't think this was a perfect season, and will be sharing my thoughts shortly), no one is gonna call you racist.

You're preempting with that because in all honesty, you're probably planning to use your "critiques" of the show to pivot to one of the many points that I just outlined, and you want to pre-empt the criticism.

If a black Annabeth is the end all be all for you, just don't watch the show, no one's holding a gun to your head. Geez.

17. I'm Black/POC and I don't agree...:

Hey, Candace Owens... No one gives a shit.

First of all, for all the "I'm POC and I don't agree" people, you don't speak for us. Anti-blackness is rampant in just about every culture globally. You being not-white doesn't somehow make you less prone to hating black people.

But for the "I'm black and I don't agree" leftovers (assuming you're not just a 👩🏼‍💻 behind a keyboard). Black people are not a monolith. You're not obligated to think a certain way because you're black.

But consider why you're putting yourself up as a barrier to protect this hate mob. It's one thing to just state why you don't like Leah's casting, but to start off your spiel with "I'm actually black" as a way to weaponize the very identity politics you're critiquing... very strange. Not to mention, what are you defending?

The black community is coming together to defend one of our own, a kid who has been receiving death threats since she was 12, and this is when you feel the need to back the opposition?

I mean whatever... sometimes the house slaves would snitch to the master. There will always be some of y'all in the woodwork. It is what it is.

But when the exact ideology you defend is turned against you, when a Baltimore elected official is being accused of getting his job through "DEI", when conservatives are claiming that they wouldn't "trust a black pilot", don't decide that's where you'll finally draw your line in the sand.

All that being said, This is my Annabeth:

May every tongue that rose against Leah Sava Jeffries Shrivel and die in 2025 🙏🏿 My girl will keep winning ❤️

snippet sunday

no one tagged me, but i finally mustered enough energy to work on one of my wips so i'm starting it off. from the 'eddie only confesses when buck is asleep' fic i'm working on :)

“Morning,” Eddie responds. Buck freezes for just a moment, Eddie’s voice triggering something in his brain. Something nagging – like an ingredient he didn’t grab at the grocery store, an actor he recognizes from a movie he can't place, a birthday he forgot (sorry Hen). Eddie notices, pausing as he reaches for his favorite mug. “Everything okay?” “Yeah,” Buck answers, shaking his head to clear it. He adds in an extra splash of vanilla extract and smiles at Eddie. “Just felt like I forgot something for a second.” Eddie considers him for a minute, leaning back against the counter next to him. They’re close enough their hips are brushing. “Well, it’s only eight. You take your meds?” “Yeah, soon as I woke up.” “You remembered the baking powder?” Buck scoffs, feigning offense. “Of course I remembered the baking powder. And don’t bring up your birthday pancakes again.” Eddie smiles over the lip of his coffee. “They were the most delicious crepes I’ve ever had.”

One Can Only Hope (Cregan x Reader)

First of, I don’t know why this particular song was stuck in my head while I was writing but I think it fits the aesthetic of how the couple works together, also I don’t care that they didn’t pick this actor for me THAT is what Cregan stark looks like, and also sorry for not adding the last detail it just naturally went with a different approach

'may I present my second-born child and my precious only daughter, (y/n) Targaryen, the heiress of driftmark"

(y/n) bowed lightly before the stoic man that it deserves to be noted how thick his fur was which engulfed him, the man nodded as a sign of acknowledgment to the princess and the young heiress (y/n) could swear that she detected a faint smile forming on his lips, to be quite fair no one could tell since the lords' lips were faintly visible due to his distinguished beard, once (y/n)s deep blue eyes met his there was an instant influence on her that cause her to slightly shiver, mostly from anxiety and somewhat fear of the unknown.

(Y/n) could only describe the sensation similar to placing yourself at the very sharp edge of a tall cliff, as one would gaze down at the water the little voice would whisper to take a plunge, release yourself from the shackles of overthinking, whilst your mind begged you to take a step back and forget about all of this.

Unfortunately (y/n) was well aware of the reason why she had to take this long of a flight on dragon back and introduce herself to the new lord of the North, her mother had put a tremendous amount of effort into making this a trip that could be enjoyable too (y/n) but to no avail, she did not blame her mother, ever since she was a toddler (y/n) would catch whispers of numerous people around her castle that would venture on whom she would marry, as the moons passed and (y/n) became a lady the pressure became tighter than her corset.

"judging by the tremble and pink nose you are not accustomed to such a cold environment"

"I'm afraid not, I am willing to try though, if need be"

She suggested as her voice usually would be colourful and loud- something that princess rhaenyra adored- was now barely audible, Rhaenyra dreaded asking this of her only daughter, seven hells the reason she even had (y/n) was because of her failed match that was created under ambition and desperation for allegiance, now she had to bare the curse of the prey becoming the hunter as she set her daughter up in hopes this could bring peace and safety not only to the realm but to their family.

“It is an honor to have the Targaryen family as our guest, I believe last time it was with Queen Alyssane, was it not?”

“Indeed, my lord, though I cannot recall if we have ever United our house bloodline”

“That is correct, such a pity don’t you think Princess Rhaenyra? We must correct that mistake as fast as we can, before all that let me escort you to your chambers, you must rest after such travel”

Cregan's humor was a breath of fresh air for mother and daughter, both of them felt more comfortable through his commentary and light-hearted chatter.

Rhaenyra was extremely thankful that her daughter understood why this must be done if she had to be completely honest with herself partially the reason she chose Cregan as her daughter's match was how the whispers of his strength and his handsome nature made it to the red keep, another thing was a desperate attempt on keeping her daughter guarded, mayhaps if she found refuge in the north of the vicious Hightowers pushed Rhaenyra to war (y/n) would be tucked away and protected by the Lord.

As they walked through the castle Cregan started blabbering about all kinds of things his brain could master, he was certainly nervous when he got the letter from Rhaenyra herself asking for her daughter to be betrothed to him, Targaryen and Starks had, of course, rumors of laying together but never being United in the eyes of the Gods, and to add the fact that the lady is in line for the throne, the wedlock and children would bring such different aspect to his house.

"the lady of the north has to endure the stinging sensation of the icy air, but I believe having a humungous dragon that spews fire on command should help"

Rhaenyra smiled at the slight declaration of interest and almost a very subtle way of claiming their betrothal to be a fact, it was (y/n) 's turn to nod excitedly and let out a small giggle, Cregan was not a man that went unnoticed, young, tall, strong, beautiful, any woman of her status would thank the gods for such a match and a part of her was curious.

Due to the small sign of hope (y/n) careless tucked a strand behind her ear, revealing a part of her to the Lord that he had never seen before.

“Your ear”

He said almost in a question, subconsciously his head tilted in order to get a better view, hastily (y/n) let her hair fall back again, concealing her left ear, flustered and internally cursing herself.

“I don’t believe I have seen something like it before”

“I apologize, I-it is-“

“Unique, I know that Targaryens usually have violet eyes as your mother has, however, I can only guess you found that boring and chose something entirely different, you have quite the taste”

(Y/n)s eyes slightly widen at the kind-hearted nature of Cregan's comment, (y/n) was born with pointy ears, her mother would always jest that it was because the fairies brought (y/n) to her as a gift, others would say that the Targaryens started to blend more with their dragons and that Rhaenyra indulged in blood magic to have the daughter she always wanted.

Gossip and fairytales aside, (y/n) tried her best to conceal that little thing like a well-kept secret that she now had pulled the covers from. Cregan only smiled, (y/n) seemed like a peach on a summer day, full of sweetness, and the nectar could bring back the dead, her smile could make your teeth hurt like how they used to when he ate pie, the pointy ears in his eyes only gave her a boost in her ethereal presence.

Despite that (y/n) had to acknowledge that the man was nothing but a stranger, she had witnessed countless loveless marriages and men that sucked the life out of their wives, besides all of that she pushed those types of thoughts to the side and masked her dark thoughts for the future with a brave face.

"Mother!"

(Y/n) exclaimed as she skipped over to Rhaenyra who rushed to her daughter's side, it had been months since (y/n) had seen her mother, and as content as she was with her new life no one could replace the place Rhaenyra had in her daughter's heart.

"oh my dearest, how lovely it is to see you, take a turn for me let me look at you"

(y/n) let out a snicker at her mother's request even though she complied almost immediately making Rhaenyra nod in approval, to no one’s surprise (y/n) had grown to be a proper lady, her red cape with the thick lining and fur, her hair down and disheveld from riding her dragon, plump red cheeks from eating well, and how could one forget her smile, shining through the realm and blessing her mother with a sigh of relief, Rhaenyra was relieved to say the slightest that her only daughter was taken care of.

"Princess, thank you for inviting us"

"nonsense, I would take any chance to see my baby"

"Mother" (y/n) whispered in embarrassment

"hush now young lady, to me, you will always remain the small babe that curled in my arms, you will know what I'm talking about sooner than late"

"about that, Mother, it might be sooner than you anticipate"

Rhaenyra froze in her spot, her eyes doubling their original size as an audible inhale of breath was heard, (y/n) 's eyes watered and her arms seemed to have a slight tremble whilst she took off her cape to reveal the cutest swollen belly. Rhaenyra stood still for only a second before she wrapped her arms as tight as she possibly could around (y/n) who did the same.

"no, my baby, why didn't you write me about this?"

"I-"

"We wanted to wait this time, I believe you understand, (y/n) wanted to tell you as soon as possible, I advised her not to, forgive me, princess"

Rhaenyra might not have birthed Cregan though she had given birth to (y/n) and that meant that she knew when her daughter was hiding, like now.

(Y/n) wanted to be cautious, after they suffered an early loss of their first baby before her belly could even swell, inevitable fear overtook her, she had refused to ride her dragon for the first three moons and she did her best to remain abed as much as possible.

Thankfully, Cregan shook her out of it, asking her to take a walk as often as his duties allowed him to, he would also attempt to ever so casually bring up how her dragon kept all of the town awake from roaring and complaining, even for this visit (y/n) only agreed after Cregan offered to get up on the dragon with her so she can feel safe.

"it doesn't matter, all that I care about is that my baby is happy and healthy"

"Don't worry Mother, the north has been extremely good to me"

“For that I am certain, well then, let us celebrate, my little babe is having a little babe”

"It is good to see you back and we’ll, my lord"

"it is good to be back, especially with such a catch might I add, tell the cook to prepare the Stagg for supper, give the wild pig for you and the others"

"you are utmost gracious my lord, the princess is waiting for you in your chambers"

Cregan skipped the way into his chambers, he was too caught up in the rush of the hunt and the excitement of reconnecting with his lady wife to notice the nods and stiff giggles of the servants and guards.

He didn't bother to knock, even if he was indecent there was nothing he hadn't seen, secretly he hoped to see her swollen belly bare, as it grew bigger Cregan had adored to kiss on her belly and rub it as he felt the kicks and moves of their child, together they would make plans for the future, like making sure the babe receives an egg for their cradle or getting a wolf cub as a pet.

"shush, you'll wake her"

medusa had cast her spell over Cregan as his eyes focused on the most extraordinary sight, his lady wife holding their babe while she sat up in their bed. (y/n) had never looked more beautiful in his eyes, her hair falling past her shoulders as her arms wrapped around the child and her big eyes sparkling with joy.

The baby was wrapped in a white blanket and (y/n) slightly rocked it, it almost could fool someone that (y/n) had already given birth to numerous children by the graciousness in her moves, Cregan could pull a chair and watch this for the rest of his days, alas his curiosity and excitement rushed him to her side, sitting right next to his lady wife in awe.

"bless me, when did this happen?"

"last morrow, the labors started hours after you left"

"my strong dragon, you did this without me, I must admit I am slightly wounded"

"I did not want to send someone until I delivered her, make sure she is fine and all"

if it was humanly possible Cregan would swear he could hear her trembling heart, as her pleading eyes uncovered the insufferable pain she went through that held hands tightly with distress and a splash of grief.

(Y/n) ached for the babe she had lost, wondering if it had been a boy to a girl, if it would have their father's eyes, or if they would prefer music over hunting, Cregan felt helpless, watching his love suffer as he also grieved in silence, though now it did not matter, the gods took mercy on them.

At just the perfect queue, the small babe cooed pulling both of them out of their trance, simultaneously the pair looked down at the fruit of their ever-growing bond with humungous smiles and cloudy eyes.

"she is gorgeous, once you fully heal we will throw a feast, I'll send some of my best men for a hunt, you should write to your mother, and ask her if she can find Dornish wine-"

"my lord, let us enjoy her before we present her to the realm, she is barely a morrow old"

as much as (y/n) comprehends the weight of duty and the strict order of customs that came with such wonderful news, she had grown up with a mother who had wrapped her and her siblings with a cloak to protect their childhood years, allowing them to be kids amid chaos and now it was her time to step up and build a fort that kept her happy and safe.

Cregan puffed out a breath of defeat before he complied and climbed as carefully as a man of his statue could

“Let me see, oh perfect”

“She will grow out of it”

“She better not, maybe the next one can have slit eyes as well”

“My love, I do not believe I can give birth to a full dragon”

“One can only hope”

Cregan jested as (y/n) laughed, the young babe had inherited her mother's ears, Cregan would often brush (y/n) 's hair away from her face to take a look at her ears, or brush his fingers over them as she laid her head on his chest at night, sometimes (y/n) would slap away his hand while he roared with laughter, others she would just bask in his admiration, thanking whoever took favor in her and gave her the man that loved her, pointy ears and all.

An: I promise I’m working on reqs but this was already in my drafts so 💙 I need more Mr. Reca content so I decided to make some! He’s a character with alot of potential 🫶🏼

A dream is just a nightmare you do not want to wake up from.

Inspiration: I can’t find the post anymore but there was a post about someone talking about Mr. Reca erasing his darling’s memories every time he confesses that to try to achieve perfection, if you find it plz tell me and I can add the link 💙

An: I didn’t reread or review it so it might suck, but I did add effort. First few chapter are skip-able ish if your impatient.

Summary: A picture perfect love story directed by Penacony’s greatest director.

Except it isn’t perfect.

Mr. Reca slammed his fist on the table as he re-watched the records for the nth time. “Ugh. Disapproved…disapproved…Y/n deserves only perfection, not this dogwash!” He cried, cupping his face between his hands in frustration, mumbling under his breath. “No…no…no….” He murmured, why was this so hard? He was the greatest director in the world! Why couldn’t he properly direct his own love story,..?

Yes, yes, he had tried all the cliché proposals and confessions, flowers, letters, even using a cat to carry on his letter. So what was missing in his grand vision of this ‘perfect confession’!?

“What I think of Mr. Reca…?” You echoed, tilting your head in confusion. This was…not what you had expected your friends to ask you during your truth or dare game. “Yeah! I heard you rejected him before!” They gasped excitedly, one of them bumping your shoulder and giggling, covering their mouth. “No. I never did that. He’s just my boss. Those are just rumors.” You clarify, shaking you head with a shy smile. You’d never reject him. Well, you’d never reject him if he asked! But that was just most likely your brain too full of those telenova romance movies you binge watched over the weekend. You looked down to your hands and shook your head lightly, trying to wipe those thoughts from your brain. “Anytyywwwaaayy…. y/n!” Your friend called, pointing at you, already seemingly forgetting their previous question, “You didn’t answer the last question, so you better answer this one!” They chirped in their usual bubbly manner, happily shaking your shoulder like a needy child. Oh no. They had a mischevious glimmer in their eyes. “Tell the truth…why do you only hang out with us in the dreamscape!?” They demanded, huffing while crossing their arms dramatically. Your pulse unknowingly quickened, but your expression was still positive. “I just am too busy outside of the dreamscape. Nothing secretive. Now….F/N!” You smile and point at your other friend in the same matter as the latter, grinning, “Truth or dare?”

Mr. Reca sat on his desk, Assistant Director across his lap as he went through script after script after proposal after proposal. How boring. It would be a hundred times more interesting to be spending these wasted hours with you. But oh well. Duty called, much to his chagrin. What an artistic block. Almost all of the scripts these days lacked individuality and creativity.

All but lacking stories with a totally predictable ending, boring characters and poorly suggested visuals. The director eventually ran his patience through, crumpling the paper in his hands and throwing it across the room in absolute irritation.

“Mr. Reca…? Are you alright?” You called, knocking on the door after you had heard his exasperated grunts. “Oh, y/n! Please, please, come in if you wish! of course I am alright!” He called, his mood already being lifted by your prescence and concern. As soon as you opened the door he ushered you in and had you seated on the couch in the far corner of the messy room in a matter of seconds. You glanced across at him akwardly, only given a few moments to settle where you sat before Mr. Reca began talking endlessly about the films he was working on, the potential-less stories and manuscripts he was forced to read and a lot of his day. In truth, most of it went over your head, merely keeping up your part of the conversation with the bare minimum occasionally nodding and throwing out “Mhmm”’s “Er-yes…” and “Totally.”

“Y/n. How do you feel today?” Mr. Reca smiled, drapping his jacket across your shoulders. Even though the weather in the dreamscape was hardly cold, today felt a bit different. “A bit…cold…” You offer, snuggling into his warm jacket and hunching slightly. You looked up to see Mr. Reca with a sad smile, which surprised you. “Is…something wrong?” You asked, looking at him with a concerned look. Mr. Reca never usually showed sadness, but now his expression also held something you never thought was possible for him.

He looked…in grief?

Before you could open your mouth to ask him again, Mr. Reca looked you straight in the eye, his hands clasping together nervously, “Y/n…I love you.”

Your brain could hardly comprehend that. You stared at him for a while, wide eyed and your mouth half open when you finally remembered to swallow. You looked down and turned to him with a joyful smile, “I do too, Reca.” Mr. Reca returned your smile, though it still seemed like he was thinking of something else. You put a hand carefully on his shoulder and hesitantly kissed his forehead. “Is there…something wrong?”

You were met with some silence, which seemed incredibly heavy, not something you would expect the atmosphere of a confession to be like. You knew what was wrong. You did.

But you didn’t remember.

And you can’t remember why.

“Wrong? No. We are actually following the ‘right’” Mr. Reca finally replied, shaking his head whilst forcing a smile. He pulled you into an unexpected embrace, burying his head into the crook of your neck as his shoulders seemed to sag. “And in the will of fate we can never be together.”

You stared at him, though you weren’t confused. Yes, because this happened before.

Eight hundred and eighty eight times, to be exact.

This was what the aeons had written in both your destinies.

“Yes…yes…”

“Because you never existed in the first place.”

Mr. Reca was now hugging his empty jacket, devoid of the warmth it used to hold.

And he cried.

It had never gotten easier to accept every time that you were a mere memory zone meme.

A fragment of his consciousness and the embodiment of his wish.

Salty tears fell one after the other in a bitter waterfall as Mr. Reca bit his lip, trying to regain his composure as his breath hitched and more tears spilled.

It was an ironic, almost funny thing

The missing piece in his ‘perfect confession’ had always been you.

BURN AFTER READING. 🍭🍬

i have never made a post with this title before, but i have shared some cpn/speculation that deserve to be burned after reading. lol. this term is often used by cpfs for a candy or info related to the boys that may be “dangerous” — so you have to get rid of it after reading. but for my version of it, let’s describe it as something that is a level up from galaxy brain cpn. it’s the kind of cpn you will think twice or thrice before making up your mind about. 💫

we have (2) topics here and just a disclaimer that i am not confirming anything here. this content is for cpf only. don’t take it seriously!

(1) Who is An Huibo 安慧博?

fans noticed that there was a “stand in” credited for the we and life of us music videos and that is this person. think of it as a body double. it makes sense cause aside from that scene in WE, there are times that xz’s figure is against a backdrop so maybe they needed someone to do that. the clowning began when people were thinking about, what if the other xz in WE mv is actually WYB ⬇️⬇️⬇️

i can think of a couple of different reasons why this could be false but the strongest explanation for me is that xz will not allow wyb to so something like this. he is very superstitious. even if this is just acting, he will not allow them to act out a scene of betrayal. that for me is enough to shut this all down. but on the flipside, maybe wyb wanted him (xz) to play his first villain role opposite him in this music video.

now we have the reasons why fans think this is something worth looking at:

1. XZ and this An Huibo are the only 2 credited actors for both MVs. so it seems kinda special.

2. The director of this is LIN, the same one who directed WYB’s redmi advertisement. There are some CPNs both were made at the same studio. Which makes sense cause LIN has his own shooting studio. There is another separate CPN about this but the gist is we think this director is familiar with both of them. So XZ may be comfortable enough to bring WYB along and even include him in the video.

3. It may not be WYB himself, but he used that name to troll us. It’s so close, Huibo. Yibo.

4. I saw this explanation as well:

If "Anhuibo" is read according to the French transliteration as An Huibo, it would approximately read:

[ã чi bɔ]

·ã: similar to "ang";

·qi: similar to "wei" in Chinese, but lighter and soft;

·bo: similar to "wave", slightly shorter.

5. As a CPF, it’s so easy for our alarm bells to ring if you read that name. An alias of sorts for Bobo. some are saying he used this kind of jumbled name to combat the bad aura of their scene together. Since he is superstitious, this removes yibo’s name and identity as the stand in who stabbed XZ’s character. if that makes sense.

maybe we will know more when they release the behind the scenes video. that is if they show who this stand in is. let’s add this to the bjyx clowning vault in the meantime.

(2) XZ look-alike in the recent GRA

i was talking to @rainbowsky about this and my initial reaction was, cpn aside, i’m surprised at how people notice these things! which i actually should be used to considering turtle’s attention to detail, but still!

so here is the “evidence”

like all other turtles, i’m someone who has stared at tons of photos of XZ. so i can totally understand why people would look twice at this person. i get i. i was staring at this photo for so long as well. however most of the cpfs comment on this is against this candy and they have valid reasons:

1. Why would he attend and be in the audience? XZ is someone lowkey so if he was there to accompany WYB, he will be backstage. Yes he is brave, but not like this — which seems almost careless.

2. There are names on the chair, so it’s not like anyone can just sit there casually.

3. Even if you believe in the probability, CPFs don’t wanna talk much about it cause it can be anti material. Saying XZ has to hide and can’t show his face in GRA. or why is he even there incognito when he doesn’t even have a project nominated. You all know how it goes, antis can twist the narrative. Plus we don’t want to accidentally expose them if this was true. We should not observe too much and post about it cause it will make it harder for them to do something similar in the future.

4. How did this person go unnoticed? Everyone had to get inside the security and there are cameras everywhere. He should have removed his cap and mask which — it’s impossible for someone to not notice XZ ( or is it? ). another thing is maybe he went to a diff entrance??

5. Some are washing it and saying it’s Yibo’s MUA.

Please take that last point i mentioned and carry it over to the reason why this look alike is sus. People are able to confirm that this is not WYB’s MUA because he was wearing a different cap. Even the hair and daresay the ears are not the same. and why would a MUA even be there? If WYB needs touch ups then they should do it backstage. If for some reason it has to be while the broadcast and recording was not on or was on a break, he should not sit there and act like a guest.

Yibo’s MUA, Wang Yiduo has been with him for years. He has years of experience being around celebrities and attending these events before WYB. So he knows the decorum. He will not sit there and act like a guest just because he feels like it.

I’m curious too, who is this person who can walk in— in an event filled with people that are dressed up and then come in with a mask and casual clothes. To be allowed to sit there. Who is special enough? Probably a celebrity? and that’s why some think it could be XZ. Even the staff and assistants during the event are dressed up which made this person stand out. As for the CPN explanation, it’s nice to think that XZ is so proud of Yibo’s nomination that he has to be there. He will find a way to be in the audience and witness this special moment. 💕

I think this can easily be analyzed more if we have the video but i don’t have time to rewatch the whole GRA and wait for this cut. Cause i wanna know if it’s even there, that’s how much we question things here! 🤣 It’s so sus to me that we only have the screenshots and no video when CPFs are notorious for having concrete evidence. personally, it reminds me of the SDC3 incident but this one is still pretty outrageous considering it is a public event.

Does Neytir still treat female spider kinda badly?

YES - I've thought about this a lot. Ready for AU BRAIN ROT?!

Yes in my Genderswapped!AvatarAU Neytir resents/hates Spider - but he loves Jane enough not to act on this. To add to the turmoil Spider in my AU will have Quaritch's striking blue eyes. This is a break from the movies as the actor has dark eyes. I think that would make Neytir even more pissed off - the idea that this feral child that runs around his home is the daughter of the colonel responsible for the destruction of his home AND her eyes are Miley's eyes. Neytir for that reason never looks Spider directly in the eyes.

This of course puts a lot of strain on Jane and his relationship as he is pretty against their kids hanging out with Spider - Nora mostly raises Spider(and Rudy... if I decide he lives past the first movie...)- but kids will be kids and Spider does end up sneaking off to play with Sully's kids. Jane, while not happy about having Quaritch's offspring in their care - recognizes that it's not the kid's fault. But she also can't blame her husband for being upset.

Nora develops a fear of Neytir and really doesn't like leaving Spider alone with him. If Rudy lives - I really want this to be a source of tension between him and Neytir. Rudy maybe pushes Nora to see about distancing themselves from Na'vi's encampment out of wariness for Neytir's hatred. But again - that short king might not make it in my au..... sowwy.

I've actually very much related to how I want Neytir to react similar to how Kerchak reacts to Tarzan in Disney's Tarzan.

I even have played with this moment where early in the war and first raids of the second invasion - that in an evacuation - Neytir almost purposely leaves behind child Spider(IDK like 9 year old Spider?) - like I want to draw a comic of him grabbing Tuk and turning to leave but then realising Jane would kill him if he returned without Spider.

As for Spider herself - she will share a lot of the same sentiments as Spider from the movies. She will have a deep connection with K'ir(Genderswapped!Kiri) and will look up to Jane - I do want Nora to play more of a role as a parental figure. Neytir is someone who she knows hates her - but like most young kids - craves acceptance and has developed guilt for who her mother was. It makes her eager to prove herself to Neytir and the other Na'vi - hence the painting stripes and refusing to wear any human clothes. She also braids one long grouping of hair from the back of her neck to simulate a Tsaheylu.

She also constantly reads Nora and Grant's old science logs because she is desperate to find a way to be Na'vi. She plays with the old link jump pods that are outta commission. Jane was able to transfer consciousness and become one of the people - obviously with the war against the RDA and resistance - they don't have the means or resources to grow Spider a Na'vi body. But that doesn't stop her from researching - and praying. Spider constantly tries to pray to Ewya - despite having no Tsaheylu.

Neytir's treatment of Spider also creates a rocky relationship with his adopted son, K'ir. Despite Neytir's love and attempts to connect with K'ir - it's hard for K'ir to understand his treatment of Spider.

Of course, that means Lo'a and Spider are besties because between the two of them, they disappoint both parents. :D:D:D

There were plenty of miracles, mysteries and mayhem when Good Omens returned to the small screen for a second season.

The PrimeVideo series, which was originally based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's best-selling novel, is heading beyond the source material this season.

The six-part series highlights the ineffable friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare-book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley.

And while the duo put a stop to the apocalypse last time, there are the sparks of a new mystery that will take viewers from before The Beginning, to biblical times to grave robbing in Victorian Edinburgh; the Blitz of 1940s England to the modern day.

The cast includes David Tennant and Michael Sheen as Crowley and Aziraphale, Jon Hamm, Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya, Miranda Richardson, Shelley Conn, and Derek Jacobi also star in the series.

And Michael Sheen told how the Good Omens "world has grown" with season two - and opened up about his first day back at Aziraphale's bookshop.

In an interview conducted before the SAG strike, he said, "It was lovely to be back in the bookshop after having seen it burnt down the ground.

"Clearly I had managed to save a few books! Actually, it was extraordinary - your brain does a double take - my desk, the cash machine, the record player - everything is all so familiar even though it is a totally different location.

But we have expanded - there is much more of the world of Soho here including Aziraphale's favourite the magic shop and my favourite the pub - our world has grown."

The actor also praised Neil Gaiman's writing, noting how there's "something about the way Neil sees the mundane that is extraordinary."

He said, "His writing has such a breadth of reference and yet is so accessible and entertaining even when taking on big epic or philosophical issues.

There's something about the way Neil sees the mundane that is extraordinary. When things filter through his imagination they emerge in an entirely unique way and yet it feels like it's always been there.

Add in the sprinkling of the imagination of Terry Pratchett and cocktail has been created - utterly familiar."

Producer Sarah-Kate Fenelon told Chic how the second season of Good Omens is "building on the universe" - and how they had been "sowing the seeds of a second season without anybody knowing" last season. "

She said, "I work with Neil Gaiman and know in part that Gabriel, who is played by Jon Hamm, his character is not in the book of Good Omens - but it was included in the first season. We were sowing the seed of a second season without anybody knowing.

"That character was written by Neil and Terry as a potential second book. They never got to write it, but now we're able to tell Gabriel's story. It's kind of a lovely evolution, where we're just expanding the universe.

"A lot of locations on the set are locations from season one. We've also been able to explore new shops, like we've got the record shop and we've got The Dirty Donkey pub, which we go into - it was in season one, but we never got to go into it.

"Season two is just building on the universe."

The Wicklow native added that it was "wonderful to get the Good Omens family back together" for a second season.

She said, "We were lucky that a lot of our crew and creative talent were able to come back for a second season. But also, we had our cast return. Miranda Richardson plays a totally different character this season and we have a new Beelzebub.

"And then obviously, we've got Maggie and Nina playing themselves, Maggie and Nina, as written by Neil. It was wonderful to get the Good Omens family back together again."

Noel Corbally, who works as an associate producer on the series, recalled how they marked a special anniversary of the first season's release while prepping for season two.

The Irishman said, "We went for dinner that night to relive the celebration, happy to be back again.

"Even now, it's been more than a year since we wrapped and to be able to come back into the studio that's just been frozen in time with everything wrapped up — we had a week to turn it back to life, have it be a live street again.

"It's been a week. But it's been amazing. We had our original lighting team come back, our original art department — and they've just done a fantastic job."

And while there are plenty of easter eggs for fans to spot throughout the six episodes, the pair shared their favourites.

Noel shared, "I think that my favourite easter egg is actually in the record shop. It's a song that we play in the background. It's so subtle, but it's from the musical Happy As A Sandbag.

"Maggie's character Maggie runs the record shop, which was owned by her grandfather in the story. But the musical, Happy As A Sandbag, Maggie Service the actress - her mother and father met on the musical and fell in love. Having that was an homage to them for bringing us Maggie."

Sarah-Kate said, "I quite like the easter eggs in the title sequence. If you look really closely, there is a Gabriel or Jim in every shot, which people tend not to notice. It's like Where's Wally?"

Rob Wilkins, who manages Terry Pratchett's estate and serves as narrative EP, told how he was "elated" for the second season to be out — and about moving beyond the book's source material.

He explained, "There were lots of nerves, because there is no source material. There's no book. I went through the whole of season one with the mantra that we've got a beginning, a middle and an end.

"And at the end of season one, which was the only season at the time, I felt very relaxed - we're all grounded through Terry and Neil's words, and that's fine. We know where we're going, we've got the novel to refer to.

"And so with season two, of course there's going to be nerves — there's no source material.

"But Neil is 50% of the creative team that brought you Good Omens, so in him we trust. And we genuinely do, from the bottom of my heart - of course we do.

"There's excitement about what Neil is going to bring from the page and from the page to the screen, but trepidation as well — I'm a fan as much as anybody else, I want to know where the stories are going."

Rob added that some of his own favourite easter eggs within the second season include a nod to Terry in The Dirty Donkey pub - as well as a special sight in the bookshop.

He said, "I love the fact that in the bookshop, Teny's hat and scarf are just hanging there. Terry, as a huge patron of bookshops around the world, he just left his hat and scarf in there and moved on one day and left them behind.

"That's a lovely one for me, as well - it means more to me, I think, than anything else."

Rob opened up about the success of the first season - and why it was something that he didn't necessarily expect.

He continued, "There's the Terry Pratchett fandom, there's the Neil Gaiman fandom and push them together and there's a big crossover. But what we created with season one, we created Good Omens fandom from the show.

"People came to Neil's work and Terry's work through the show. It created something entirely individual of its own making, and that freaked me out because I didn't see that one coming.

"I didn't see that as a thing. I thought the fans would be rooted in Terry or Neil. I didn't realise that the ineffable husbands in all of that - I love David and Michael, but I didn't realise the love people would have for them as our demon and our angel.

"I shouldn't be surprised. It's just my admiration for them as actors and for what they do, and for people getting it I think that that's the thing that's meant a lot to me, that people have understood what we tried to do."

Costume designer Kate Carin told how having the opportunity to join Good Omens' second season was a "gift" - and opened up about why it was impossible to pick a favourite scene.

She explained, "When you see the whole show - you think, when you're watching episode one, you're like, 'oh my god, that's the best'. But then you watch something in episode two and it's like, 'that's awesome!'

"I would say that I'm a disciple of the show now. I didn't know the book when I was approached about the job. I'd obviously heard of it, and I'd seen season one — as a punter, I watched it.

"To get the opportunity to come and work on season two, it's a gift for a costume designer.

"You do fantasy, you do period, you do contemporary and all of the wavy lines in- between - you're given a lot of rope to play with."

The character of Shax, played by Miranda Richardson, was a "really fun character to design for" - as Kate told how plenty of ideas jumped to mind after reading the description.

She said, "When Neil writes on the page that you have a 50s inspired female demon, that gives you a lot of scope to play with. "

And when I started drawing her, I actually had to stop myself because I kept coming up with ideas."

And with the series jampacked with magical moments and settings, set decorator Bronwyn Franklin told how there was one particular shop that has a "certain magic'!

She said, "I actually think the magic shop is my favourite shop. The bookshop used to be, but now that l've done it twice - it's still beautiful. It is Aziraphale's home. It feels more magical because Aziraphale lives there, and there's the whole angelic side.

"But this one, it really has a certain magic. From a set decorator's point of view, it's a joy. Will Godstone, he gets to sit there and he's got his little cash register and if he's got no customers, he can sit there and have a little cup of tea.

"You just have to feel that person, live that person and think that it's yours. I always come into a space like this and think, 'how would I like to be?' Because if it makes me happy, it'll make the cast member happy, it'll make the viewers happy."

Michael Ralph, who is the series' production designer, told how while it's impossible to pick a favourite set, the bookshop is "one that will resonate most'.'

Aziraphale's bookshop contains more than 7,000 real books and Michael noted that it was important for the setting to feel real, not just for the audiences at home but for the cast and crew.

He said, "There's not a fake book in here. Couldn't do that. In a way, if you look at any bookshelf - I spent almost a day just moving books around, to make the bookshelves look like they're real. They could be flat dressed, and then they're not real. But this is real, when they're just moved around a little bit; or people have pulled them out and put them in incorrectly.. .that's what's real about a bookshop."

AU where Sirius is a vampire and Remus is a werewolf(Obvi). They are immortal (Being immortal and being a werewolf feel like double homicide, honestly). They met centuries ago and throughout the years meet each other randomly in different countries.

They kind of hate each other at the beginning, but start becoming friends kind of at the end of the Renaissance, I guess. I think Sirius, knowing he will be recorded in history, will try to be an actor or a famous writer in all the different eras. Remus, on the other hand, will be extremely low-key.

The only time Remus becomes actually famous is when Sirius convinces him to be in a band with him in like the 70s. They have to go into extreme hiding after that. Not the best time for Remus. Eventually, Remus becomes a professor at a different uni every few years. You name any famous university, and he has taught there.

Idk what the others are doing lol. James could be another vampire that Sirius and Remus meet along the way, or we can go the angsty route, and James could be a human they befriended who died of an illness, and they could not save him. Same with all the others. Regulus could be another vampire from the coven whom they find sometimes on their adventures.

In the end, Remus and Sirius end up together, of course. They have been living with each other for years, so it just made sense to them.

You can do so much with this AU. Add them to all the cool historical events. My brain is not able to think any cool scenarios rn but Ik it could be very fun with angst sprinkled in here and there.

Degrees of Lewdity AU: Actor AU

Yes, you heard that right, folks! DoL:ActAU will now be a thing in my blog.

Re-reading this made my brain go BRRRR, because in my head a random person getting their costume's head off is that funny, and from there it all spiraled down.

The Whitney breaks Syd's glasses scene in particular is stuck in my head, because I imagine that at some point, right before Whit can grab the glasses, Syd would scream to wait, making Whit shit himself cuz dude what is happening. The director screams cut, of course. "I'm so sorry, these are my real glasses-" while laughing, and taking them off to give into custody before putting on the props, with Whitney just wheezing in the background.

The genderbent version of LIs would mostly be people that really resemble each other, except for the Kylar duo. They are twins who love to scare other people by just staring at them (it is a running inside joke on set).

Bailey is actually a sweet parental figure off-character, always making sure he didn't actually hurt the other actors (think Jason Isaac in Harry Potter as he switches between the cruel Lucius Malfoy and actually caring for Tom Felton, asking him if he's ok and apologizing when he did in fact hurt him by accident)

Another running gag on set is Harper just.. being there. Smiling at everyone with cold eyes, bombing pictures and selfies. Sometimes they stay in the background of the scene, looking directly at the camera. They say it's funnier to stay in character. Off-character they are very fun to be around, but they enjoy unsettling people. Them and the Kylars are sometimes banned from being in the studio if the scene doesn't need them.

GH got tangled up in the fly system. Everyone laughed and took pictures and videos, but promptly eliminated them at GH's request. They are shy.

The Averys enjoy their role very much. What they don't enjoy is having to drink grape juice or scented water instead of actual alcohol. They do get a nice glass of wine once off-set are over.

Whenever the Wrens are in the studio, F!Whit, M!Robin, the Wrens, F!BW, the Edens, F!Avery and the Baileys get a bit too much into playing cards. Blackjack, Durak, Scopa, Rummy, Machiavelli... the list could go on. They always manage to rope technicians to play with them as well.

Everyone hates the Kylars because their makeup doesn't need much time, while everyone else (ESPECIALLY GH, BW and IW) need enough time to always look polished/roughed up, depending on the situation.

M!Jordan is actually atheist, and whenever he has to talk like a true Christian guy, once his line is over he mocks himself. He enjoys wearing his costume off-set just for shits and giggles, and other actors often visit him in the confessional just to say "I'm sorry daddy, I've been naughty~" "Jail for a hundred years. NEXT"

F!Jordan and Ivory Wraith are actually cousins, and sometimes M!Jordan and Ivory Wraith swap costumes to see if there is any difference other than Jordan's massive tits.

Aaaand that's it, for now! As of now this is how far my brain thought while in the middle of exams, I will slowly add more into it. I don't know if it was already done, but thinking about these jackasses actually play-pretending makes me feel better ^^

THK NEW YORK FANMEET !!

we are here! I have slept and am now fully prepared to describe and gush to y'all about my time yesterday. 💖✨ Thankfully I thought to bring a little notebook with me and journaled between benefits starting after the hi-touch, so I'll actually have a better time remembering things and my initial reactions hehe. Though I have plenty to add this morning :)

ALRIGHT so I arrived earlier than expected, a before 11am and y'all I did not actually realize we would waiting outside after check-in and not get let in until an hour before our first benefit. I was VIP and was able to check in within two seconds at an outdoor table which was nice. They said my group could head inside at 12:15 for our hi-touch at 1pm (though that got a bit delayed) so basically me and everyone else without soundcheck tickets were out in the courtyard. I also needed the bathroom the whole time lmao. THANKFULLY it wasn't as hot as it was initially supposed to be. Still hot tho. And my choice of outfit did not help, which I knew going in but fashion ok fashion!! I hadn't had time to do my hair either so I'd left it down for the event, but put it in a random bun while we waited because y'all i could NOT. There were a ton of people handing out freebies, little gifts they had made, had printed, etc. which was so sweet!! I got a lot of stuff, and here's a little pic of my favorites throughout the day:

When I wasn't getting handed sweet gifts I was kinda just standing around but eventually one of the very few benches had a free spot and I swept it up, eventually making conversation with some girl who was an FK fan so we passed the time talking about their shows.

Eventually I got inside for the Hi-Touch (and finally got to use the bathroom lol). A moment though for how GORGEOUS THE VENUE WAS because that theater omg !! Literally the second I walked in with the crowd I said excitedly out loud, to no-one in particular: "oh it's so beautiful!"

Alright so Hi-Touch! I found my seat to wait and ended up next to a really nice girl from out-of-state who became my bff for the evening. I really lucked out with that, we had a lot of fun together!

As Hi-Touch started we were discussing whether to record or not because they made some announcement like "you can record this and it is the only benefit you can record!" We weren't sure bc we kinda just wanted to have the moment but we watched everyone on stage before us, and it was going so FAST that eventually we decided, whatever we'll just record it. And we both lowkey regretted that ngl bc it was too distracting. One cannot have adhd and focus on all that at once. I also had in my head that I wanted to say things to the actors and wasn't sure I'd have time so I was really focused on that, actually so much so that by the time I got to FK (of course it was FK) my camera was barely even pointed at them pfff. Just swung off to the side as my brain was overcome by interacting with them. I mean who can focus on anything but them c'mon. And, okay, seeing them?? When they came on stage my first thought was, hilariously, "THEY'RE SO HD!" haha. I think I said that aloud. They were just so real and there and crisp idk man all I could phrase it as was 'they're so hd' 😂 (spoken like the video editor i am haha) And they were also all SO SO PRETTY. Like how are you all SO PRETTY? I already KNOW they are pretty. (And FK are so CUTE!!) This is obvious fact!! But they are just as gorgeous in person and I must state this for the record.

I was doing so well but the nerves finally struck when walking up the stage steps. Your girl was trying so hard to keep her wits about her. First-up was Dunk. I was planning to say "sawadee ka," to him which I did, but I felt a little bad when I said it right away because he had already started saying "hello" to me which I didn't realize, so I accidentally interrupted him and he sort of just cut himself off and just smiled. Sorry dunk... 😅

He was super chipper though. Look at him!

Joong. I was originally planning to tell him "i love your photography" but it was too quick passing him and I didn't think I'd have time so I just gave another "sawadee ka." I don't think he said anything back, he was very rushed and distracted—literally already looking at the next person while touching my hand. But what gets me the most is the face he made when he initially saw me. Sir what is going on in your head??? At first I really thought I was confusing this boy somehow. I do not know how to feel about this expression. But I do find it very funny to look at.

ah the.... joys? of being perceived? (and no you can't pay me to crop out khao)

In retrospect, he was obviously looking at my outfit and when I really pause the frames (as you do. as a totally normal individual) I don't think it was a bad reaction particularly (look, his mouth does still look smiley on the edges! ..right?) I think he was just trying to take everything in and very fast—based on his eye-line he was specifically parsing the sparkly corset-top that was over my dress. Which is fair. Later in the event he said something about NY fashion so I'll be coming back to this.

But one final frame for Joong. I think here the confusion has slightly dissipated and he's smiling a tad? I will say for my sake that this is a split second of appreciation happening. Let me pretend.

Okay then we had my BOYS. MY BOYS. FK. OH GOD. Here there are less good shots because again the camera was the very last thing on my mind. Oddly I wasn't as nervous as I expected to be when interacting with them? Perhaps it's because they were so friendly, but likely it was actually a mix of everything happening so fast and me being so locked in on what I wanted to say.

Khao took my hand and I looked at him in his glowy lil face, and said with all my kindest sincerity: "i love your acting 🥺"

He tilted his head and gave me an appreciative smile in return. Might've said thank you, I literally do not remember. Also his smile is not on camera and I wish I'd been less frazzled because I can't quite picture it anymore either. But according to my journal, he made a "very sweet face." He was touched, so even if I don't remember it very much, that is what matters. <3

HOWEVER. From before that. I do have in frame the first few seconds of Khao seeing and LOOKING AT MEEEE.

To First, I also said "I love your acting." But right before that, he looked at me and started smiling

but as soon as he heard what I said, that particular smile stopped forming, immediately interrupted by lil soft eyes as I was greeted by another head tilt and very sweetly appreciative smile. Funnily enough, he actually started that reaction before I talked to him. So either he heard me speak to Khao and was touched that I gave his bestie a compliment, or he thought I was already talking to him since we were so close. But the next moment I did take his hand, look at him, and tell him the exact same. At which point I think I recall him saying thank you but it was so loud I couldn't quite hear it. Saw his mouth move though. A lot of his frames are very blurred but you can kinda see the smile he gave in the veryyyy last frame, even if he's more than halfway out of the shot. very sweet. Look at those blurry sparkly eyes.

All of that went by SO SO fast, and it's hilarious because as I was walking back off the steps I immediately said to my new seatmate friend— "i don't remember that." Which was SO TRUE. I have picture stills but when I tell you that immediately after—perhaps even during??—and definitely now... I have zero, I mean ZERO, recollection of actually touching any of their hands. (Or talking to them, really.) Might've touched air for all I knew. Do not recall physically feeling literally anything. Guess I was more focused on their faces? Maybe the nerves eliminated my sense of physical perception asdfg

What's so funny is I knew from the Brazil meet talk on tumblr that the boys had been grabbing hands not just giving a high-five type deal, but when I saw the people before me I was like, "oh that's going so fast I guess they aren't doing that this time." So I fully went in to just high-five and afterwards was lamenting that I didn't actually hold their hands more bc my newfound buddy was saying they did that with her. And this goes to show how much I legitimately was not processing the moment because when I watch my video back—at least with JoongDunk, sadly I can't see what happened with FK but I presume it was the same —THEY LITERALLY SHOOK MY HAND. Hands are being HELD! And I literally didn't know it until I got home 😂 (*edit, at least with khao [and based on the arm movement maybe w/first? no img so idk] there was no handshake BUT he what he DID do is like, gently take my hand—not just a high-five—and hold it while i talked to him. that is very sweet. sweeter than a handshake tbh. aghjjj.)

Even though my camerawork didn't catch much of my own interaction, the same thing actually happened with my seatmate's video and because MY video was tilted to the left, I actually caught all 4 of her full interactions on camera, so I was glad at least that I could send it to her :) And she also cheered me up by skimming through frame-by-frame and pointing out things like "look right there, you can clearly see the second Khao looks at you" and "look First is reaching for your hand!" She made me feel better lol and now those frames will live on my blog forever. That said. I still do not feel like I have actually ever been directly perceived by them. Like idk sounds fake if you ask me. I did eventually feel a lovely sense of connection with them though, and that was later—from the crowd. We'll get there.

As the four were leaving the stage post-hi-touch, there was a very fun moment where Khao turned back towards auditorium and everyone watching and gave a cute sassy lil smooch at us all. Hehe.

They soon came back for autographs and what we hadn't expected was that we got to just. Stay in the audience. And look at them during it! So we chatted and commentated and I used the time to journal a bit too. There was also this lady on staff who was. To be honest. So irritable lol. Every time there was a new instruction her go-to was to just yell it angrily at us. She very quickly got fed up with phones and during the autograph session was like everyone put your phones away you cannot record!!! which was kinda funny bc nobody we saw was actually. Recording? Just being on their phones? She did not seem to care, and instead yelled something like "people paid for this!!" to which we (a few of us in neighboring seats) sorta joked quietly with each other "yeah and we're "people"! we paid for this." Idk maybe she was having a rough day. benefit of the doubt and all that.

Apparently one of the other security members was laughing about the whole thing as it went on and felt more absurd. But anyhow, photo ops came next so we got in line! and chatted with the nice people who were next to us. also the whole time they were playing other OSTs and thai songs as background music (when sadistic came on later during a game segment of the show Joong started doing the dance moves hehe) and that was nice bc I kept recognizing songs from different shows which made me feel very happy and in my element. While we were all in the photo-op line a Pluto OST came on and I had to geek aloud about that for a moment. xD

So, PHOTO OPS

It again felt so fast. My seatmate friend was in the same photo as me and we were both happy about that! We stood behind the boys who were all seated in chairs. I was kinda lost for what to do. I was just staring at the backs of their hair, low-key wishing I could see their faces for a moment because that felt more assuring. I had no idea how to pose or what to do, but mostly I was distracted by the fact that I was right next to Dunk's shoulder. Like RIGHT THERE. Like wut? And I was distracted by the vague passing thought "i could put my hand on his shoulder" but my actual thinking brain kicked in .02 seconds later and reminded me that that is Not A Thing To Do because Boundaries which I Care About lol and then I was like ok back on track what do you do in a photo and then I looked up and was like Ah Yes you Smile in a photo and by the time I remembered this I think they were already taking the picture so I'm fairly certain that I'm probably in the midst of starting to smile and making some uncertain confused in-between face lmao. Wish me the best on that but I will honestly be surprised if it turned out good lolol. They were rushing us through like crazy so I think a lot of us weren't really ready or expecting the moment the took the picture. But tbh I also don’t think they counted down for us? Then off we went...

Earlier my friend had told me how she'd told First "i love you" in the Hi-Touch and how he'd said it back and I'd been like, ohhh if I ever do another one of these I SHOULD SAY THAT. Because, you know. And then I was like, to heck with it I'm just gonna say it as I leave the photo op if I can. So I did, as I was walking off, and while he didn't say it back First did fully turn in his seat to see who spoke, looked right at me and I think said thanks and gave me a wai because I think I gave him a wai first but again y'all. My memory. Doesn't work. Head empty.

We returned to the crowd to watch the remainder of the photo-ops. For one photo, Dunk lifted an arm and flexed his muscles and a bunch of the crowd started yelling. Very funny.

Around the photo-op time, things also took a bit of a turn. If you know anything about this meet you might think I'm about to bring up First—but I'm actually not. (Yet.) I am talking about JOONG.

Who as the photos progressed, looked SO freaking done. With just, everyone and everything. He looked so tired y'all. We were like, someone give this boy a nap. Give this man a BLANKET and send him to SLEEP. So yeah, Joong looked SOOO tired and like he just wanted to go home. Maybe people were pushing boundaries up there, maybe he was just sleepy, maybe it was the staff rushing everything so fast—I have no idea. (For some photos even the boys weren't quite ready, in one First was kinda confused like 'wait we're done already?') But like, people were trying to engage Joong in poses and he was actively just. Ignoring them. Kinda too bad, though I'm not judging him. They'd been running for so many days in a row. Jet-lag plus multiple planes and three fanmeets in three countries in a few days, being up early for NYC meet and interacting with so many people all day long... god it must be a lot. I could never. By the time the 4:1 photos came around he seemed to be feeling a little better about things though and got into the groove again. Looked like he started having some fun.

But also, remember the angry staff lady? Yeah well at this point she was apparently up-to-here with it bc she yells at the crowd from the stage, where she is standing a few feet from First [they must've been between group and 4:1 bc he was standing] that if she saw one more phone outside of a bag she would remove that person from the room (might've implied 'and not let you back' i don't recall.) And poor First is just standing there with this lost lil startled look on his face that conveyed a combination of "you intimidate me" and "...what are you doing to my fans?"

But back to the fun stuff. Joong, who as I said was having fun again, did a pose with this girl who asked to stare into his eyes and he leaned SOOO close to her face and they're just staring at each other all firey-like and the whole crowd went wild for it haha. Good for her. xD Also I never noticed Dunk is taller than Joong but, he is!

Annnnd this is the point that I wrote in my notebook that "First looks sleepy now too... Something happened with First..."

He started using one of those scent inhalers from his pocket and vaguely looked like he was feeling allergic to something. We were actually speculating that it had something to do with all the perfume in the air, because even in the crowd some of us were having a little bother breathing due to the levels of it building up from all the attendees. This was apparently not the case though. Anyway, he was really not looking good and it was getting more and more obvious. Then all of a sudden, as the Shot to the Heart people (you know, those people who paid $100 for a 4:1 polaroid. This is not a judgement. If they didn't sell out in 6 seconds I might have got one too let's be real) are waiting in line to get pics, his cast-mates take his shoulders and walk him off stage. We were obviously really worried about him and hoping he was okay. So all four boys had left, and there was no word at all from staff about what was going on for a long time, either. Everyone was left rather confused and very concerned for him.

Eventually they all came back, all of them looked much more refreshed. First didn't look 100% better but he did look a LOT better. First was very apologetic. Joong looked WAY more energetic. They also all had gum or mints or smth now. Glad they got a rest break and some food/water probably.

When the photos were done and they left the stage for real, Joong hovered around one of the staff and was checking out his tattoos with much interest.

We took the next opportunity to go use the restroom and buy overpriced water etc but also to get me a freebie that was at a front table in the lobby that I hadn't seen before. Because, okay— the girl I met showed me what she got there and I was LOSING IT laughing. So when she said there was plenty more out there, I had to get one. Y'all, Joong would love this bahaha. Someone tweet him a photo of one.

I was like oH GOD. HELP. it was so funny. it's awful and it's wonderful. and they put it on a napkin. on a NAPKIN. oh my goddd stop

Alright moving on 😂 it turned out my seatmate friend had been in the wrong seat by accident, so sadly we couldn't watch the show together but that was okay, we had something else to focus all our attention on, after all. Thus, it was back to my seat (10th row can you believe it??) for the moment everyone had been waiting for......

THE SHOW.

The show was my favorite part. Hands down. It was during that time that I immediately knew this had been the best decision of my life.

Now, I am usually referred to as a quiet person. I can get a little loud if I'm being silly and having fun, but all in all, I am still—generally speaking—a sort of Quiet Person. When I tell you I SCREAMED MY LUNGS OUT. Full disclosure! I have actually never screamed at an event ever! I was like, I am here and I'm having a blast and I am going to go FULL fangirl mode and show these boys ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD.

Like, I get it now. I get why the boys love a loud audience. It was so fun. There was such a connection between them and the crowd, it was a way of communicating y'know? To answer their questions and respond to what they were doing and to show support and it was just so so lovely, and the vibes in the room were immaculate and hyped and happy and glorious—and FKJD were there and amazing and sharing this moment with us—and I don't have words to fully express how magical the whole thing was. I was on a high from it the whole time. I get concert people now.

The opening song when the lights went up had only Joong, Dunk and Khao at the start so I was a little worried about First, but he ran on soon after, just in time for his verse.

I'd learned as many lyrics as I could the night before and that morning, and actually managed to slide my way through a lot more than i expected. Anything I didn't know I just faked very well or cheered pff. I'd focused especially on Destroy Love with lyrics learning—which was soooo much fun to scream along with Khao. He did so well—they all did—all their singing was soooo good, and he was having such fun being a rockstar up there, of course, and the energy was great.

I had also focused on learning My Fuel. I actually knew some of that chorus already. Again, I didn't have all of it down but I scraped along my very best. I love First's song and it's his first solo OST so you knowww I had to give this one my best. Especially knowing First hadn't been feeling well, I gave that song extra. We cheered so hard earlier for him too, because he was apologizing for causing delays and ofc we only cared that he was okay and wanted him to know that. I was determined to be part of a crowd that made that boy feel loved, which very much worked . And LET ME TELL YOU, there are few better feelings than making First Kanaphan feel loved, I have to say. I get you, Khao. I get you. And bruh First got so emotional over it. I think that's when Khao said, "shoutout to my man, First Kanaphan." Atp First was just sobbing.

Ok back to My Fuel— Khao comes on stage to join him near the end, their first duet of the evening. And two seconds in, right after walking on, Khao just drops down his mic and starts crying. First walks right over to him and embraces him and it was really sweet. Look I figured they might cry at some point but I wasn't expecting it so soon haha. (Btw did they cry during the Brazil and Mexico meets? I wouldn't be surprised. Someone tell me lol)

Then Khao is like singing while choking back tears and First tries to join back in but can't and keeps giving up and they sung a little but eventually they just gave up and were all emotional together as the background track played. Afterwards they were like "sorry guys" but. We are here for them and the FirstKhao-ness of it all. That's one of my favorite recordings I took lmao.

There were talking segments that were a lot of fun, JoongDunk are SO HILARIOUS AND ENTERTAINING OMG. I loved them. (All of them, Joong included, were also in very great spirits for the whole show.) I do wish FK would've talked more, I think they didn't bc of the language barrier perhaps but they were really set on speaking English. But I enjoyed every moment nonetheless.

Joong was asked about the NYC fans and he said "you're all such pretty people" and said "I love your outfits and your makeup." <- circling back to that Hi-Touch moment—for the sake of my little fashion soul—I will be believing that I was included in this statement. (look it's not THAT unlikely okay. I mean a lot of people came up to compliment my outfit so i have some social proof here!! lol. thank u btw <3 I was also complimented by a totally random girl in the grand central bathroom on my way home which was very sweet hehe.)

So anyway I will be taking this compliment from Joong as if I were in his mental target-audience. I mean we can't prove i wasn't... Joong called me fashionable and pretty so there. 😂💖 And being funny as he is, Joong followed his compliment to the crowd by adamantly telling us, "you ATE" !!

(Speaking of eating, they also explained that First had been feeling nauseous earlier, Joong said it was bc of food or something. Thankfully he looked a lot better when the show came around. The whole thing was also delayed half an hour so maybe they got some extra rest during that time as well. Also we got so little info when it was running late like. First, he's fine. But fanmeet management could've been better ngl)

The boys were asked about their dream roles, and Joong was like "First should answer first. Because he's First." Haha. So First answered first and said "I would like to be a cat or a dog, so I can just go *meoooow* or *ruff ruff* and not need to learn a script" LOL. Khao was next and said, gesturing at First, "my dream role, I would like to be this cat's manager." 😂

Dunk brought back the prince on a horse thing and said he wants to find and fall for a mermaid that is pretty and cute (Joong) who in response, immediately sung the melody from the Little Mermaid (y'know the one where she loses her voice or whatever.) That was really funny. Joong then said his real answer is to be in a musical so he can perform in "a place like this" and he looked very bright-eyed at the setting all around us (remember how pretty the place was? yeah.) and then he showed off his very talented singing with funny snippets of different operas and stuff hehe.

When asked how they needed to prepare for their THK roles, Khao's response by some logic was "I needed to prepare for P'Kant's tattoos. They look really cool... On his body."

Dunk said he needed to practice saying "good morning, krap!" every day and he and Joong did a funny riffing about that and then tried making us all say it in the audience and were like no no no your delivery is all wrong. Dunk also added, "OH! And the crop tops!" and said he had never expected to wear crop tops before ha.

There were some different little games with the audience, one girl won and got to go up on stage with them for a bit. They had more lovely performances and Q&As. It was so so good. At some point they did an MSP song which I didn't expect but it's actually in one of my playlists so I was able to sing along with all the rest, everyone was super jazzed for that and based on the sound levels I think more people knew the words for it too.

Eventually it was time to say goodbye and it felt like the time went by so fast !!

The lights went down and that was that 🥺

I recorded everything so that'll be up on my vidding youtube very soon. I made sure to not watch through the screen though, i wanted to focus on how everything looked right in front of me and on experiencing that. just glanced up every so often. so the cam might drift from time to time? but from what I can tell it didn't do that for the most part so yay. It might not be the most high res but it's not crazy far from the stage either. play it small and it'll look fine haha

I had chatted with that girl from earlier and we planned to take the subway together instead of walking alone there, so I ended up with her and a bunch of other girls she met who were all super nice. First we hung outside the venue for a bit with the crowd, one chipper staff member wanted everybody in a video for starstruck media (oh speaking of podcasts, earlier on in the day I had a question for a volunteer and went up to ask two of them before realizing it was the two girls from the 'let's talk bl' podcast haha so I told them I recognized them.) Anyway then this dude was like "don't tell anybody I did this" (sorry man you'll never guess what I'm about to do) and did a yell call thingy so we all called it back and then he beeline ran back into the building, but some ppl caught his name so we all kinda just started yelling it and then he came back out and took a video smiling and twirling around in a circle of random concert-goers who continued chanting his name. All to say, everyone was in a VERY good mood after the concert and also VERY not tired of screaming about things. 😂 (as you might have guessed, my voice is rather rough today but fam I DO NOT CARE) We also got more freebies given to us, I got handed a little print of Joong, the one where his shirt is unbuttoned lmao and everyone around me was being jealous of what i got pff

Then I went off with concert-friend-girl and all the other girls and we spent like 30 minutes on the subway laughing and talking about how great the concert was and talking about FK and JD shows. There was one girl on the subway who had obviously gotten a freebie print from the same person I did at the end, and hers was of Joong but as Fadel in the THK scene where uhhhh. Well the one where he does a strip tease. And she had it. Taped. To her forehead. So whenever we looked over he was just staring at us and we couldn't help but laugh and she laughed too. I would've gone to dinner with the group but it was getting late and y'all I wasn't in bed until 2am as it was. So instead I said bye and they gave me advice on how to travel where I was going. On next subway, I was sat next to a girl who also got off at my stop and as we left the train I noticed we both had concert posters and we were like omg wait you came from there too?? so then we walked together for a while and gushed about it all. (social anxiety WHO. this event did something to my soul. i was thriving. usually i'm a shy extrovert but we really dropped the shy yesterday)

And then when I got home I gushed all over again to my family and showed them a bunch of videos xD

Back when I bought this ticket I sort of thought of it as an early birthday present for myself (i mean i would've gotten it regardless but) and when I tell you I could not have had a better gift EVER.

I MISS IT ALREADY AND I MISS THE BOYS ALREADY !!

If they ever come back, I will go in a freakinggggg HEARTBEAT. The way I just want to go to every event they have from now on ha. I'm not even kidding when I say I think this was perhaps the most fun and happy event I have ever been to ever. The amount of joy I got from this PLEASEEE. Literally when we were outside the venue I was smiling and jumping up and down from all the happy energy that I could not contain xD

I loved it so much and I love them !! We got such a great show from them and what felt even happier was the sense that we made it a great show experience for them in return. They seemed very touched. I'm so happy that venue was so full of love for them all. And god we need a way for FKJD to keep performing together make this happen somehow ! this era is unparalleled ! (as if we don't know this already) I feel so lucky to have gotten a ticket.

Anyway. This is probably sooo long at this point. This was such such a treasured memory and I wanted to write it out in full. If you came this far, thank you for reading hehe. I hope they come back to NY someday and I cannot wait for it <3
