Darcy had seen Robin around town and had spoken to her only briefly, but that one conversation was enough to make Darcy wary of her. All those years ago Darcy had accidentally set the fire in Aurora Bay, the one that had killed one of her best friends and one that ruined so much of her life as well as others. Darcy's father, chief of police Mitchell Anthony, had covered up anything leading back to her. Darcy had spent years feeling guilty and it wasn't until she was finally starting to heal and put it behind her that Robin was seemingly looking into the accident and why things didn't exactly add up. She knew she had to be careful around her, which was why she felt so anxious and wanted to hide when she spotted Robin. Sadly, it was too late.

"Hi. Hey. How's, uh... how's it goin'?"

Quickly scribbled this girl on break. Robin DuBois, 26, rat butch Visionary who was the only character to survive a campaign beginning to end lmaooo. She's been Imbued since she was a teenager.

When Gen had been hoping for beaches during the holidays, she had envisioned bikini weather. Not that she was opposed to the Hamptons, occasionally having summered there even if she tended to prefer like St Bart's. Still even Gen couldn't turn down the opportunity to escape from a Crane Family Holiday after having about a week of it, so she was lazily sprawled out on the couch as maybe the fiftieth Hallmark movie started playing.

No Gen didn't know who'd put them on but she wasn't sure that she could be bothered to change it and sue her she loved being bitchy.

"How many holiday themed monarchies does this fictional planet have?" Gen snorted "Why is this like the millionth prince of Caucasia,"

I never got why someone would bother pretending that they don't have privileges when they do? Especially if you still work hard. Mom's money and power didn't get me through MIT, that was hard work. Oh she definitely is a powerhouse of a person and I'm glad she taught me to appreciate what I have.

i read this post on tumblr the other day that talked about how dick's time at haly's as part of the flying graysons made him particularly receptive to bruce's teaching methods to the point where bruce thought 'wow parenting is easy!' and then immediately got the next kid killed ://

and honestly? yea

dick's training as a flying grayson really is an overlooked part of his backstory. he already was doing death defying stunts and back breaking training! that was normal for him! and that probably 1) gave him a thing for perfectionism even before bruce, 2) primed him for bruce's specific brand of bat training and other neuroses and 3) made him think that yea, ofc, none of this is a big deal.

Chase laughs. "I'm sure One Direction had a ton of dirty fanfics." He wouldn't doubt it, it honestly wouldn't surprise him if every celebrity had one or two lurking around out there. He crosses his arms and leans off to the side, his eyes focusing on her as she leans in to squint at the screen, a small smirk curving his features. His tongue brushes along his lower lip then he presses his lips together.

"Are you squinting?" He teases. "Scared to finally face reality and get you a pair of glasses?" He smirks, a smart-ass one, one that could easily get it slapped off his face. His gaze shifts to the screen when she finally types in his name and all the articles come up.

His arms drop from his chest down to his sides as he glimpses at some of the titles of the articles.

"People are fucking savages, huh?"

Of course, a few articles of his looming divorce settling in. He shouldn't be surprised if he's honest.

"I don't know, I looked up my name once on this app and there were a ton of them. I can't help that people think about me like that."

"Hell no!" Robin exclaimed with a wrinkle of her nose, lips turned downward. Some days she barely had time to cook dinner, never mind writing real person fiction online. “Not even when I was a teeny bopper obsessed with One Direction and exploring my writing.” She added with a shake of her head.

She leaned closer towards her laptop screen, squinting to read the words on her screen. She really should buy some reading glasses, but Robin was stubborn and refused to admit—maybe even accept—that she was growing older and needed reading glasses now. She typed his name into the search bar and scrolls through the results.

There’s one questioning is relevancy anymore, another questioning what his position would be if he was joining the team now but nothing comparing him to a sewer lurking killer clown.

“Ok, I swear I seen it the last time I was doom scrolling Reddit in bed but…” Robin shrugged hopelessly, turning her head towards him. “Let’s circle back to those dirty ass fanfics you were just talking about. Who is writing smut about you?”

Was pondering how Mark’s rigid ass mask/lens is prob a Budget Thing (since squishy, bendy lens are pretty much a mandate for all hero animated series, like JL, BTAS, TNBA, Spider-Man, etc), and then I was slapped with a vision of Mark in a more JL/BTAS-ish style and I had to see it through. I am a genius btw.

if your requests are closed you can just ignore this :) but im just imagining liek a batfam and younger teenage daughter where bruce gets a tattoo of her name or like symbol which is usually a big no but he got it where it's not as noticeable cause she mentioned once how he should and so when he showed her and all the other boys they immediately would pull all dramatics like oh he doesn't love me ph he picked favorites and in all reality he was planning on getting a tattoo for all of them and just did hers first to mess with them a bit

“What is that?" Damian scowled, noting the small inking peeking out of the hem of Bruce's shirt. The six of you were mingling in the kitchen, all gathered together for breakfast before you all scatter about for your own busy days.

Bruce followed Damian’s gaze, as did Tim and Dick. “It’s a tattoo.” Bruce hummed.

Damian practically rolled his eyes. “TT. I can see that. But since when did you get tattoos?”

“It’s recent.” Bruce answered.

Damian squinted at the tattoo. It was rather small, but– “Is that her name?!” Damian pointed a finger at you accusingly from across the room.

This time Dick inspected the tattoo. “It is.”

Damian gasped dramatically. “Favouritism!”

“It’s not favouritism –” Bruce started.

“It is.” Jason said from where he was leaning against the counter.

“No it isn’t–”

“Where’s our tattoo’s, bruce?” Tim leaned in. “Don’t you love us too?”

“He doesn’t love us anymore, Tim.” Dick said teasingly. “We’re not worthy of tattoos.”

“You may as well disown us.” Jason added “It’s clear they’re the favourite.”

You laughed softly, amused from the other side of the room. It is clear that your brothers are joking, amused by the situation. Well…maybe all of them except Damian who sat there slumped on his chair, his arms folded in front of him and his face drawn perfectly into a scowl. “It was my idea.” You said. “I told him he should get one. He asked me to design one for him.I didn't think he would actually get it.”

“Sure.” Jason elongated his words sarcastically. “That’s the excuse”

“It’s true.” Bruce backed you up.

“Doesn’t excuse the fact that you’re playing favourites” Dick teased.

“I’m not playing favourites.” Bruce said. “In fact, I was going to ask the four of you if you wanted one too. But since I apparently don’t care about you then…..”

“No. No.” Damian jumped in quickly. “You love us very much. We were joking.”

You smirked a little at Damian’s change in demeanour, clearly keen to get his own tattoo. Bruce noticed this too, and so did your other brothers, each watching Damian with an amused eye, but also interested themselves.

“I’ll go get a pen and paper.” Damian said, slipping from his stool. It squealed against the tiles as he dashed out of the room, his voice fading away as moved continuing his rambles. “I have some great ideas—“

Bruce smiled a little. But oh lord….what had he gotten himself into…..
