C25K–week 6 day 2 after “warming up” with the week 3 day 3 workout.
I’m not sure if I’m pushing too hard and should take it down a notch because I’m scared my little heart will explode….lol.
Kept trying to negotiate my pace throughout but kept remembering Cate's ( @fitnessgeekandcoffeefreak ) post about Cap's ( @m0tiv8me ) challenge, so I stuck with the pace I had settled on at the start of my run. I do think I'll slow it down a bit next time though. Between the walks the runs and the warm-up and cool downs I hit 4.6 miles and I'm currently at 16K steps for the day. Not too shabby 😆

Thursday morning run. I did not want to get up and did not feel like running this morning. Even my body started throwing out random aches and pains. I could hear my brain saying, see these things hurt, we should just go back home and forget it. But I forged ahead and finished the run.

My first run in nearly 3 months!🏃 First pic is last runs' stats, 2 and 3 are from today! I considered starting from the beginning of c25k, but I wanted to see where I am and it turns out...right were i left off! Very exciting! And my legs don't hurt at all, not even calf cramping 😊 they usual kill after this, so I think the hiit videos are good conditioners Okay....back to work!

Week 1 Day 3 of Couch to 5k completed! 🏃 No leg cramps today, even though I did have to walk a little longer between run 6 and 7 (I had a stitch in my side). 🎖Plus, I made a new running buddy!! I'm feeling really good, so far. Now to go shower. 🚿🛀

In the green today 😀 Haven't been posting consistently, but I've been consistently active 👍 Starting to set some solid goals and ready to start sharing again (broken record? Lol) Two more weeks of C25K to go (three including the one I'm on)! Today's workout was supposed to be 5 minutes warm up, 5 minutes jog, 3 minutes walk, 8 minutes jog, 3 minutes walk, 5 minutes jog. I felt pretty good during the first 5 minutes so I just kept going for 20 more. I've been doing these on a treadmill so it's a bit easier (12 minute pace). Very happy because it's the longest I've jogged in a long time and consequently the fastest I've jogged in a while 🤣. I was drenched in sweat afterwards and felt proud of myself. In other news, I joined an indoor climbing gym and it's sooooooo much fun! Can't wait to share some stuff with you guys!

A slow morning run, but the lazy is starting to creep in again. Always saying, you can run tomorrow, again and again. So off I went today to ward off the laziness.

Numbers from today's run/walk. C25K week 2, day 2, plus an extra two laps around my neighbourhood afterwards. Feeling pretty happy with that start to the weekend!

After my night shift I worked until 2PM and then went for my week 3 day 1 C25K run! Which has been very dumb because I was already tired and my knees felt as if they were made of shards from rushing from an emergency room to an other with inadequate shoes (NOTE TO SELF: BETTER SHOES AT WORK) It was a slow, painful, worried run. I don't know wether I should stop for a while because running is damaging my knees again or keep going but slower or...idk what to do. I just love running so much. I hope nothing will take it away from me.

Wednesday morning run. Was really ready to just crawl back into bed for the hour, but knew I would regret later if I did.

I struggled through the second half of this run—I know eventually I’ll look back and laugh about how I thought running for 3 minutes straight feels impossible, but for now, this is where I am.
I was also in a terrible head space today—anxiety about seeing a dentist, but it turns out I’ve been kicking ass taking care of my mouth and was worrying unnecessarily.
When does running start getting easy in the sense that you’re not super tired before 9pm? Asking for a friend.
Taking off tomorrow to rest my bones, do some research, see a movie, maybe pick up some art supplies? Or maybe the dog park to get the pooch out in the sun!
