not to bring tiktok drama on tumblr but like every time a ‘scandal’ comes out with one of these ‘production companies’ that make fan films i always hope we’re finally gonna discuss how they professionalize something that should be an hobbyist endeavor… and yet every single time i’m disappointed.
#like I know we’ve been talking about it here on tumblr and i remember seeing like one or two videos on tt about it#but other than that creators really don’t seem to be engaging critically with the impact that the very nature of what they’re doing has#and look i truly do love the art that some of the people involved in the project make#like arone is truly one of the most talented cosplayers i know#ethan is an amazing actor and I’ve followed him since before he was even in the marauders#dorian is a great writer and idk the others as well but I’m sure they are all great artists#((naming the just cause i feel like being vague would be worse in this case))#and i do believe they engaged with the project with the best of intentions#without knowing or trying to afford grace on past controversy#and it truly is a horrible predicament to have your work be tainted like that for something you had no control over#but like i do think we should be questioning the very idea of how this fanfilms have been made is inherently a problem#like fanfilms are essentially fanfiction on camera#so as long as a few cosplayers want to get together with their iphones write a script and shoot at the local park I don’t have a problem#but if you are putting in place a product that somehow requires you to fundraise consistently for two years then I have a problem with it#ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SELLING THE SCRIPT TO DO SO#cause even if that script hadn’t been ai generated#that script is fanfiction and you do. not. sell. fanfiction.#seriously like… do we need to go over our abc again?#like fanart and cosplayers are a bit different in the sense that people sell fanart/do commissions and they can be professional cosplayers#but for any other fanmade project that requires you to put pen to paper (or keyboard to chatgpt ig)#you need to be engaging with several ethical questions regarding any exchange of money#and personally i don’t think that there’s been engagement with those ethical reflections#and this isn’t about any of the people involved and not even about mischief productions specifically#it’s about a wider issue in how we have been collectively normalizing a way of doing things that should not be normal#and like yes star using ai and being overall not good is bad but like can we talk about EVERYTHING ELSE please

the thing for me is,,, this is a very vulnerable fandom space. a very young fandom space for a start, and a very diverse one - a lot of people within this space come here as a recluse from jkr's bigotry, to still experience the joy they once found in her works without truly engaging with her. and yes, we could do better in that aspect, a hell of a lot better, but this space still acts as a recluse.
to use a facist machine (ai) within a fanfilm is despicable. to steal works from authors within this space (or any space) to produce a fanfilm script is despicable. to then post it anyway, and quote "acting portfolios" as a reason to do so? disgusting.
ai is ruining creative industries. i mean, fuck, we just watched ao3 get scraped in the THOUSANDSSSS for works to be fed to an ai database. there's an ai tag on ao3. there was a whole trend on tiktok for weeks of people putting fanart into chatgpt and asking for a caption for it. there's ai generated videos using cosplayers literal faces. fics put onto that fucking app that got deleted that turned anything into an audiobook. fics on goodreads and etsy and amazon. fanart sold by people on etsy, fanart posted without credits and-
i could go on and on.
there is so much blatant disrespect towards creations within this space, and AI is reaching into every corner of it and to post a fanfilm that used AI for a script and quote love and effort? the amount of love and effort into it?
truly, despicable. because who is harmed more by ai? when these industries go, when ai, which is fed through a very western-centric and fascist perspective controls everything? who's harmed the most?
because it won't be people like jkr. it will be the people seeking recluse from those like her.
you're either in fandom because you love creating and you love community, or you're in fandom to get something out of it. and to post something that stole from fic writers for your own acting portfolios and publicity? yeah. it's obvious what side you're on.
fuck generative ai in fandom spaces and fuck anyone willing to prey on this community for their own progression - this is a community for those that need it the most, not another step on a ladder for you to climb.
#i could go on and on#about every bad thing mischief productions and certain members within it have done#but most of all i am enraged at the normalisation of ai#i could go on#so so much#so im ending the tags here before i rant about it all#just#AHHHH

Because I think everyone should know this today:
✨ How To Spot Generative AI Slop: Save Your Media Literacy! ✨
For AI images:
- Zoom in as close as you possibly can to background details. AI can make decently cohesive foregrounds but struggles with complex backgrounds.
- Keep an eye on patterns. Are they wobbly, inconsistent, fading out in weird places, or fusing into other parts of the image? That’s probably AI.
- AI tends to “stylize” images in weird ways that are meant to mimic staging or strong lighting, but it usually ends up giving it a weird reflective, airbrushed, or “plasticky” shine. Even if there are multiple textures in one image, they’ll usually end up looking nearly identical.
- Watch for “objects” in the image that look like nothing at all (blobs, deformed items, and general objects that you can’t even tell what they’re supposed to be) or “artifacting” in otherwise polished images.
- Symmetry is usually nonexistent, especially in architectural images.
- Text and numbers will usually be misspelled, inconsistent, or out of order.
- Mechanical images are usually a dead giveaway if you look close; none of the components or mechanisms will even appear to be functional or make sense in terms of construction.
For AI videos:
- As with AI images, check the backgrounds and you’ll see some absurdly nonsensical stuff.
- AI can’t generate convincing longform video, so keep an eye out for videos that “compile” or abruptly cut and splice different clips every 10 seconds or so.
- The movement in AI videos is not convincing at all, especially with human movement. Figures will all move at roughly the same pace, in partial slow-mo, or with a “floaty” or gliding quality to them.
- Keep an eye out for general logical errors; crowds of people tend to blend into each other or move strangely, cars will drive the wrong way on roads, etc.
- Faces won’t emote accurately (or at all), especially in eye and mouth movement. Emoting will make the entire face warp strangely. If a video relies a lot on facial movement, the figure and background will often be completely static.
For AI text/ChatGPT:
- Watch for unnecessarily long blocks of text where a short sentence or two would be preferred.
- ChatGPT relies heavily on descriptors and adjectives that fill out the writing but add nothing at all to the content. Be mindful of long descriptions and “explanations” that actually say nothing at all.
- AI can’t distinguish its “voice” or tone, so a lot of ChatGPT writing is unnecessarily verbose or formal. Even if the AI is initially trying to generate a casual voice, it can abruptly change into formal language.
- Keep an eye out for repetition of words, phrases, or concepts in general. AI can’t tell when it’s repeating itself, especially in longer passages, and you’ll typically notice one specific phrase or descriptor constantly being used.
- If attempting to write in an informational or “how-to” tone, ChatGPT won’t actually include any details or elaboration; any information it does give out will be overly general or vague.
- When AI generated information is fake, it’s usually egregiously fake. If you find a factual error that no person would have made, especially in a format that would have required an editor to put out, it’s likely ChatGPT generated.
For AI voices:
- The typical tone of voice will usually be flat and lack any emotion, even when trying to imitate it. AI voices tend to speak as if they’re reading off an essay, which is especially noticeable if they try to read a colloquial script.
- Listen for distortions or inconsistencies in the voice. Some AI voices constantly have an unnatural or synthesized tone or will slur when trying to read an unfamiliar word, repeating characters, or different languages.
- AI voices will sometimes pronounce the same word completely differently if read in the same sentence or audio clip.
- AI doesn’t know how to properly read sentence structures, so AI voices will sometimes read off scripts in stilted or grammatically incorrect ways. Pay attention to random pauses, bad pacing, or weird inflections on words.

all those videos about "here's how to make your own kids' books/animations/podcasts using AI" that detail how to automate every single step of the process always seem to start with "so first you're gonna want to generate a script for your story using ChatGPT" sir… what is it that you even do here.

btw good and pretty reliable way to spot this specifically in scripts/writing is if they start doing that thing that chatgpt does where the final remark on a subject is a weird, vague conclusion statement that is always written in like . a very specific way that kinda reads as a highschooler trying to succinctly wrap up a bad essay.
it's always something like "[topic] serves as a symbol of the harsh realities of life and the dark secrets many of us keep" or some other kind of vague statement that doesn't really say anything. also statements like "glimpse into a world" or "reveal the true nature" are pretty common.
i think one of the most disappointing things of the modern era is watching a youtuber you enjoy and slowly realizing they're actively using AI to create some aspect of their videos. sucks all of the appeal right out of them
#rainbles#if anyone is curious i am talking about the youtuber cadaber bc im 90% sure they use chatgpt and probably go and edit the scripts after#but these weird remnants still stick out#if you go to “disturbing cases with terrifying conclusions pt 2” it's . really obvious#i dont watch them very often but every once in a while id put one of their videos on as background noise#and i couldnt get past the weird ai phrases this last time

Custom Script For Saving back up to Your Sims 2 Neighborhood Folder in Linux
After watching @teaaddictyt's youtube video on protecting and managing your save files. I thought I'd give my own tip to fellow linux users.
I created a script that will zip a copy of your last written neighborhood file and send it to a drive or backup folder of your choice. You can even bind it to a keyboard shortcut if you are that much of sim's addict. ;) edit: Sorry if my instructions were a little unclear... you only have to provide two entires under source and destination paths -- that's it. Also I won't be able to really help you troubleshoot this if it doesn't work. I had some assistance with chatgpt.
!/bin/bash
# Source and destination paths
SRC_DIR="/you/only/input/source/documents/ea games/sims 2/neighborhoods" DEST_DIR="/you/only/input/destination/here"
# Find the latest modified folder
LATEST_FOLDER=$(find "$SRC_DIR" -mindepth 1 -maxdepth 1 -type d -printf "%T@ %p\n" | sort -nr | head -n 1 | cut -d' ' -f2-)
# Check if a folder was found
if [ -z "$LATEST_FOLDER" ]; then echo "No folders found in $SRC_DIR" exit 1 fi
# Get the folder name
FOLDER_NAME=$(basename "$LATEST_FOLDER")
#Create a timestamped backup file
TIMESTAMP=$(date +"%Y-%m-%d_%H-%M-%S") ZIP_FILE="$DEST_DIR/${FOLDER_NAME}backup$TIMESTAMP.zip"
# Zip the folder
echo "Zipping $LATEST_FOLDER to $ZIP_FILE…" zip -r "$ZIP_FILE" "$LATEST_FOLDER"
echo "Backup completed: $ZIP_FILE"

as i promised in my earlier blog that i will make a blog on how to make a mind movie, im true to my words so hear we are. for starters “what is a mind movie?” and “what’s the use of mind movie?”, well to answer these questions, a mind movie is a video that plays all the goals you have along with affirmation, and the best part you’re also reciting the affirmation too. this makes it really powerful cause your not only looking at the visuals of your goals and dreams but your own voice is telling that you’ve achieved that already. a mind movie is a great way to manifest your dream life, as it helps you to get aligned and manifest all your desires, watch and listen to this mind movie the first thing after you wake up and the last thing before you go to sleep, and watch your dreams come true, literally.
how to make a mind movie (my way)
1. create a script where you have it all:- you can use chatgpt for this. i personally used chatgpt and it’s great. so what you’re going to do is type in chatgpt. “can you make a script for me in order to me to manifest” and then type down all the goals you have and chatgpt will make a script out of it.
2. don’t overdo it:- just know you can make it over and over again, so don’t overdo it like adding everything till the time you’re married till the time you gonna die. don’t do that, just focus on some few things that you really want right now and once you achieve all of them, we can make a different script, right? so really overthink and just do whatever you wanna do right now some really high-end goals that you want to accomplish within 5 to 10 years add it and once you reach it all of them, we can make a different mind movie from then onwards. it’s not a one-time thing, so you really don’t need to think about all the possibilities right now, just think about 5 to 10 years ahead and i think you’re good to go. i will be 27 after 10 years, so whatever things i wrote in my mind movie script is basically think i wanna achieve by the time i’m 27.
4. download photos:- i would say go on pinterest get photos that align with your goals & desire. and download them (10 photos per goal, that’s what i did)
5. editing:- just edit, combine all the photos, just so you know, i had like 300 photos, also download a cute font from da fonts if you’re extra like me :) each photo will play for 2 seconds. that will be 20 seconds of screen time for one type of goal. and you’re also going to layer written affirmations on top of the photo. (but this is how i did it, you make edit it however you want)
6. layer your voice hehe:- record yourself saying all the affirmation (in present tense of course) and that’s it haha. so is the photo is playing and it’s your dream body you’re gonna say “im so grateful to have my dream body, i love how my body is so slim etc” or describe your dream body.
and now you can save this video, watch it daily, affirm with it, watch your life change. also just so y’all know i was banging my head over this mind movie for 2 days literally, and now it’s finally done so i decided to create the blog post too (my mind movie is literally 10 minutes long, and im going to start using it from tomorrow (it’s 1:12am but i’m typing this blog lol, i just needed to post it asap)
if you want to join me on this journey of becoming a higher self. please comment, like, reblog, and follow let's embrace the glow of together.

”Again, I've never been pregnant or given birth so I don't know, but I'm pretty sure you don't get checked into the hospital, given that many bracelets, and placed in a laboring suite for just a check-up.” I’m not going to speak for all women who’ve given birth, but I did so twice and the last thing I wanted to do was dance. I was in so much pain from contractions and then numb from the epidural, dancing was out of the question. Such a weird video to share. Her birth stories have made zero sense to me.
Given how inconsistent the birth stories are - she needed two epidurals but got to go home after two hours! Archie's birth was traumatic but again, she got to go home after two hours! She was a week overdue but she's dancing like she's at the club! She's in labor but she's eating an entire meal! She gained 65lbs but she can squat with her knees together! - I don't think Meghan even remembers her own truth.
Sometimes the way she talks about it, it feels like she put a prompt into chatGPT and she's just reciting the script.

Dear Vanitymoth,
Do yourself and favor and keep Murder Drones, the fandom, Uzi, V, and N's name out your mouth. As of now, your takes and opinions regarding the show and its characters have been awful to the point where my brain was making toast in the bathtub.
Let's not also forget that you're HEAVILY biased towards J and most of your videos are spent complaining about her and not about the topic of of the video to begin with. If I didn't know any better, I'd assume you got Chatgpt or even that toxic waste of metal herself to write your scripts. In case you didn't realize it, your ideal vision of what Murder Drones should be is NOT what Liam wants. Liam is an actual writer and Murder Drones is more than just being "edgy and dark".
Your misogyny towards Uzi and mischaracterization of N is ridiculous and lets me know that you didn't actually watch the show. N doesn't have an "obsessive savior complex". If he did, he'd have an inflated ego, something that he DOESN'T have.
Let's not also forget how you said that N and Cyn were a ROMANTIC COUPLE?! Sweet home Alabama! (I know that incest is illegal in Alabama, but I had to use that phrase for this situation). You're a perfect example of one who lacks media literacy and neurons in this fandom and I really hope we don't have more reviewers who are just as bad as you.
Your entire points lead to "if this show doesn't meet MY expectations, then it's bad.", which if you also didn't know, ISN'T a good mentality for a reviewer. Sincerely, please stop making reviews on this show if you don't have any ACTUAL good points. And this also applies for TADC, Hazbin Hotel, etc.
Signed, lovely-cherubs

I'll need elaboration on the first being jealous over book thing
by god who are you people and why weren't you born with the knowledge of first's hat meltdown on live for Only Friends Premiere. I am super scattered so I could only find this one video of it and that too from my twitter fk conspiracy theorist friend who wishes to remain anon so I will be creditting her as FK chatgpt from now on. The link will lead you to something gay enough as it is.
But you have to understand how I experienced it which is with my own two eyeballs as they livestreamed it unsubbed. Please imagine my confusion as I was watching First having some kind of meltdown over hats on this live. No, I do not know what the word for hats is in Thai. Yes, I could still tell it was about hats.
Because he kept changing it and fussing with it. Like they will have fully moved on from the topic and First will come back to the hat!!!! It wasn't until several hours later that I found out that it was because Khaotung said Book looked cute in his hat that First wanted to find a hat that Khaotung would also compliment him in.
I don't even remember things get buried in twitter so fast. But I am fairly certain that it wasn't even an offhand compliment. They were talking about hats! iirc the guys were in fact making fun of khaotung for wearing a hat inside. Or first and khaotung were wearing hats and the rest were making fun of them??? ideeek but somehow everyone got around to putting on hats. That's why Force has the bunny filter on.
I'm also pretty sure Khaotung told first that he looked cute in the hat after but for some reason it wasn't sincere enough for First??? And he changed hats three times. i know lives are like freestyle and what not but this is one they decided to do in anticipaction of a series premiere where you're generally supposed to stay on the vicinity of the show i seriously doubt this was a scripted thing for fanservice. Especially since First watches his series with Khaotung is a fully established ritual of his. i dont know anything anymore so tl;dr first had a meltdown over hats on ig live because khaotung who is fully inside firsts house said book kasidet looked cute in a hat do with this information what you will

I’m going to try to keep my rambling to one post per episode. Here’s Season 2, Episode 1 “The book of Revelations”
• I hope by the end of the season they air Miranda out for only coming on the show bc she seen how popular it is
• So far I’m liking how they’re editing and adding some of the girls TikToks!
• LOL THE #soaking 😭😂
• Has Z*c always sounded like that 🤮
• JEN THE MAN LITERALLY SAID HE STILL DOESN’T RESPECTS YOUR JOB THAT IS PAYING FOR EVERYTHING HE NEED/WANTS
•“BLATANT LIES” THERES VIDEO EVIDENCE
• Lolol not a ChatGPT script
• All these boundaries and shit just to kiss and make you 🙄
• Wow, okay there is so much happening this episode
• This scene of Taylor going through Jenna’s phone is so awkward 😬
• Side not Taylor looks so good in interview 😮💨
• Mayci going back and forth like a tennis match 😂
I feel for Taylor, you can feel that she’s trying so hard not to spiral 💔
•Miranda is giving Jill from dance moms. “IM AN OG” whatever you say girl 😐
•Lmao Mikayla I love you! Whitney makes my skin crawl too
•Thank you Mayci for saying what we’re all thinking
•Ugh here goes Taylor’s mom (she’s so jealous of her daughters appearance)
•Omg bitch, she already had the baby move on. SHE NEEDS TO TRY? Does her mom really think she’s wrong in this situation? Taylor wasn’t the one lying all through the length of their relationship!
•Damn, I was hoping for therapy and not ketamine. No genuinely, this conversation Jen and Z*c are having would be 10 times better in therapy and not while they’re on fucking ketamine.

• GET THIS MAN OFF MY SCREEN idc that’s he’s crying
• now Miranda, you and I both know you didn’t set this party up. stop pretending like you’re decorating
• I really love Mayci and Mikayla’s friendship “there’s you’re beast friend”
• Jen😐 this is not about supporting a single mother, this is about her wanting to join after saying she wanted nothing to do with the show if Taylor was on it
• They better not end this episode talking about the swinging scandal
•HULU FUCK YOU
• MACYI YOU DID WJAT NOW
•JEN WHY CANT WE HAVE THIS ENERGY TOWARDS YOUR HUSBAND (also fuck Jessi’s husband he’s a weirdo, this is not be supporting him AT ALL)

— ᝰ🖋️:
i heard once that making the most mundane tasks video game themed could be a great way to tackle them. so i'm experimenting with this right now!!
i drew a lot today. mainly figure drawings and some sonic stuff i also did some vent drawings. if i had to be honest, today was the first time i drew a pose from scratch and i was proud of it immediately. it was just a bunch of scribbles and i wasn't expecting shit, but it turned out so good. i wasn't even seeing clearly when i did it (𖦹ᯅ𖦹)
i'm going to try to meditate before bed or in the morning everyday now!! to what? i'm not sure. i'm starting to carefully craft a playlist of calm songs i'm probably gonna use for it.
i read about the two most common shifting theories again, kind of going back to the basics. while making my playlist, which was supposed to consist of nostalgic songs for me, i went through a LOT of childhood youtube collections i made of things i used to watch. it threw me back and lifted my spirits!! especially since lately, i've been craving shifting to my Liorith DR - basically reliving my childhood in a much more nurturing way. watching these old vines and memes and those old songs while i'm hyped on shifting back to my childhood is kind of a way to connect for me! (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚
ok, i didn't actually script much. but talking to chatgpt for advice and insight is so refreshing. i had this dilemma of which dr i was going to shift to first because i didn't want to overwhelm myself by going somewhere that was widely different from france, aka where i currently live. he gave me the perfect solution despite the fact i could barely talk to him in one language and had to frenglish my way into it.. ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)
by the time i'm writing this i haven't actually tried obsidian or manuskript, i plan to do it before bed. but i was introduced to these when i had the urge to write about my sonic dr as if it was a fanfiction, or the script to sega's next game. i am a little wary that doing this, regardless of if i post it or not, might subconsciously fictionalise my sonic dr to me..which i don't want 😞 but its one out of all of them, and honestly the one where i struggle the most with visualisation. its not like the first dr im trying to reach.
well, i guess i am journaling right now. i do plan on doing it on actual paper though. don't have much to say about this part.
⋆₊˚⊹ ࿔⋆bonus: i discovered city pop today, aka the genre of 4am by taeko onuki, fly day chinatown by yasuha and fly by spectrum. i discovered plastic love by mariya takeuchi and the music video was so cute!! it reminds me of ichiko aoba.

My favorite witchcraft youtuber got caught using AI for his video scripts, and is still using it. So i am here to tell you ...
How to spot a video script written by ChatGPT and other AI text generators:
The number 1 sign on how to spot an AI generated video script is the use of phrases such as "key concept" "is the key to" "in conclusion" etc! If the script includes a lot of those, it's most likely AI. But if you are still not sure, here are more signs!
The next sign is that the end of the script goes like "_____ continues to *verb* to this day, and _____'s influence goes beyond *this* and *that*. " This is a huge one.
The last sign is the text being divided in three almost equal paragraphs, where one seems to be like an introduction to the topic, the second one is talking more about the topic, and the last one goes like:
"understanding this is the key to understanding *topic* , *topic* continues to intrigue people to this day despite everything! "
They all have the same pattern...

Okay, I just watched a 15 minute video from another blog in which some dude (and I have no idea his qualifications, I didn't care enough to check) listed 10 ways you can "definitely spot ai writing". The comments on the post indicated that he maaayyybe didn't know what he was talking about, so I thought I'd keep a list (which he weirdly didn't label on screen as he spoke about them) and give my thoughts on it.
Em dashes
I've seen this claim before, that ai seems to love the em dash and use them "more than a human would".
Well, I happen to be human, and have used em dashes for pretty much all of my writing. Like, since I was 12. I've seen plenty of other authors use the em dash, and none of them use ai in their writing.
So no, em dash use does not automatically mean ai writing.
Parallel sentence structures - "It's not just X, it's Y."
"It's not just easy, it's fun!" "It's not just a matter of opinion, it's been documented by various studies."
Yeah, no. This is not 'fake ai writing', this is basic copywriting. AI engines have been trained on any writing their greedy companies can get their hands on, and what is there a plethora of online?
Marketing.
This, and many of the other things he claims are 'clear marks of ai generated script' are simply old standbys for copywriting.
Groups of 3
"It's not just easy, it's cheap, it's healthy, and it can save you time."
Groups of three are soothing to the ear, and work well with sentence flow. Yep, copywriting uses this a lot, but even in every day writing, you can find people using this group of three style, mostly because it just sounds right. Ai does not get to lay claim to this.
Formatting line breaks with emojis
That's been a thing before ai became a thing, so maaaybe the ai learned it somewhere?
Uncanny language use (word use sounds strange)
The example he used was "To strike the perfect pose in photography . . ." something something, I don't remember what it was for, but he claimed that this phrase sounded odd and therefore was proof this was ai written.
It's just a play on words, dude. I would probably write something like that--again, if I were writing a marketing email for my husband's photography business--(oh look, em dashes!) because it's a play on words.
Words and phrases not typically used in normal conversation
The words he used as examples were "elevate" and "delve". I'm not kidding.
Writing is not conversation. If we're talking about fiction, you're going to be more polished than you would be just having a chat.
If we're talking about online conversations . . . I've been known to use the words elevate and delve while chatting. Also, internalize, compartmentalize, and rationalize. (Oh look, a group of three!)
Having a big vocabulary doesn't mean it's ai.
Exaggerated and empty praise
Okay, this one gets a pass because he used comments as an example, and we've all seen the ones appearing around ao3 in which they're generically praising your story without really touching on any details of it.
But, honestly? Some people can just be nice and try to make you feel better by being a little more praising than what you'd expect.
Analogies and similes that fall flat
I forget his examples and am too lazy to go back to rewatch, but his claim is ai tries too hard to sound human by offering analogies that don't really have anything to do with the topic at hand. Which, again, I can give a pass because yeah, it can do that.
Restating itself and repeats its points to clarify
This one gets a pass too, because we've all seen the posts and comments and whatever in which it sounds like the ai is repeating what it was asked, and then goes on and on restating the question.
"Why is the sky blue?"
"That is a very good question, as many people have wondered why the sky is blue. The sky is blue because it's not green. A blue sky is pretty and very not green because it is blue because of the air."
(This is my writing, btw, as I don't even want to be bothered actually going to chatgpt to get examples.)
Generic examples
Kind of a decent point, as a computer can't give personal examples or opinions on things. "Cheerios are a good breakfast food" as opposed to "I always found Cheerios got too soggy too quickly, and it just made me gag."
So out of his 10 supposed 'obvious signs of ai', I give a pass to maybe 4. Ai models have been taught using stolen writing from copywriters and fiction writers, which explains a lot of the 'odd' mannerisms it tends to have when it writes. Being a machine, and not a thinking human, it's simply vomiting whatever it's been fed in a string that it thinks is appropriate to answer the prompt.
I don't know why I was inspired to do this, but there we go.
