she had just wrapped for the day and was sat in the makeup trailer, wiping the fake blood from her mouth. she would’ve never guessed in a million years that stepping back into the spotlight after a decade away would entail her playing a thousand year old vampire, but she was for the first time enjoying what she was doing. looking up into the mirror, she smiled when aline walked in, turning to face the girl. “great work today, a. i swear to god, it’s like there are two different people playing ella and kathy, that’s how good you are.”

Without fail, if Ali wanted to get away from it all, coming to Hayden’s home during one of his parties was the way to do that. She had been surprised when she first met him to know he threw these sorts of wild ragers, but not any more. She smiled as he finally noticed she was here. “I was just waiting for you to notice I exist,” she teased, tucking her long hair behind an ear. “And taking a breather. It’s really hot in here,” she explained, fanning herself with her hand for a moment.

“sorry, a, the place is packed. had to make my rounds and say hi to everyone, i don’t even know who half the people in this place are right now.” he said with a laugh, giving her a half-hug around her shoulders as he patted her back before waving over the bartender. “that’s why i lost my shirt, who doesn’t love a hot and sweaty rager? right?” he said with a wide smile, pouring some vodka into one of the solo cups as he handed one to her. “cheers?” he said, reaching out to clank his cup against hers before throwing the shot back.

he’d had enough time to sit and think , hell all he’d done the first month he was away was think , and while a part of him still burned at the thought of aline and his sister together he’d decided to let it go . did that mean he wanted to see her ? no , not at all , but he was too proud to turn and run when he saw her again . taking a deep breath before stepping behind her in the line at the coffee cart quickly deciding that scrolling through his phone was a better idea than speaking . @daydreamactor​

“should i get a dog ?” grace asked aline out of the blue. “i feel like i need companionship, and i love dogs so much. i might get a staffie. they’re so sweet, big babies. ugh, i love the big baby kinda dogs. but then i’m like maybe a smaller dog will be best if it’s just me that owns it, like a cocker spaniel, or a king charles cavalier ?” she needed something in her life. “i’d get a cat, but i’m crazy allergic to them.”

“i’ve brought henry along to personally thank you for those gifts you got him, he was very, very excited to receive them when i got back. i made sure to tell him they were from you.” he looked down at his little three year old and smiled gently. “what do you say ?” he asked him. henry, always full of beans, thanked aline by jumping on her and giving her a big hug. one that lasted longer than usual but still not long. henry always had too much running around to do to ever hug for long.

Hydration was definitely needed after how much drinking she had done last night. “I suppose you must have been drunker than me to think that one of those bikes was a good idea. And as much as I would love to let you embarrass yourself, I guess I’ll go with you. Only if we can take cheesy pictures with it.”

“so here’s the thing, i feel like i’ve received a very specific message that reading isn’t for me. i mean i sat down outside, with a little cocktail and a book and from out of nowhere, this big monstrosity of a bug comes swooping down and lands smack on my forehead, so i freak out and start waving my arms around in pure fear. and then this bug starts flying around me, so i stand up and knock my cocktail that i had just made over. that annoys me, so i put the book down. the bug flies onto the book and in a moment of panic, splat! i close the book. so now i’m sure there’s gross bug stains in it but i haven’t opened it since because...ew. so in conclusion...i didn’t read anything and doubt i’ll have the mental stability to try again.”

after the bet gala       it seemed that work     had him by his neck,     between shooting and      interviews left and right.      he had invited aline     over for dinner at his house,      sitting across from her.       his staff placed     the food before them.      marco gives them a small     nod as they take       their departure. ❝      it’s been hectic      to say the least      but I did want to tell       you something.  ❞       he takes a bite of       the food before him      ❝ so,      I’m dating someone      or kind of       starting to date      someone.        the only people who      know is obviously fel       and know you too —— oh,       and alana.     I told her at the bet     and she freaked      out but I just told her        that       ,      like it’s done       there is nothing there       anymore with her. ❞

And of course letting everyone including his twin sister believe we slept together and then not correcting them which really pissed off said sister at me,” she explained, shaking her head. So Pepa being nice was a bit of a foreign concept to her. She believed Clem, but the thing was, she was so innocent that she probably didn’t see the bad side of anyone really. Not unless they showed it to her directly. “How can you not read the books? Though the Netflix show is a rather amazing modern adaptation I admit.” She grinned as well, happy that they could get ice cream afterwards. “I would never!” she teased, climbing into the car.

“ well kaiden has been trying to sleep with me since he first turned eighteen and i don’t recall you hating him . ” she teased with grin , “ but i can’t make excuses for the last part , that’s pretty shit , heck i’m still trying to get said sister to like me . ” letting out a soft sigh . she’s never had someone not like her and it drives her a little insane that mafe gives her attitude for no reason other than she’d slept with the girl’s brother , “ well i don’t read much of anything , the last thing i read was a super gay manga called nana and i was like seventeen at the time . ” she shrugged pulling out of the spot like a bat out of hell . “ i have to say i’m totally getting into this being in charge thing , it’s like the whole world is at me feet , is this how you feel all the time ? ”
