Chin tilted up, light green bangs falling into his eyes, some dark red intricate mark on his left hand – his sister had already spilled the secret, he drew it on himself when his younger as part of his ‘magic alchemy’ and now couldn’t get it off – yeah, that’s my boyfriend.

You could practically see the smug cattish glint in his eyes as the junior looked up to him in awe. “Senior, which store are you going to?” the boy asked.

“The plushie store.” 

You answered for Anaxa, laughing at his expression: shock, betrayal and embarrassment all melded into the face your heart still jumped a little to.

“Let’s go, my dear.”

His face overheated.

And even the next few days, Aglaea reported with an unreadable expression that he had gone mad, laughing helplessly to himself in the middle of class.

I'm still deeply absorbed and dwelling in my modern AU. And being me, I've naturally put a lot of thought into the cars that the HL characters and my OC's would represent/ drive.

Here is a brief summary of my thoughts under the cut. Don't worry it won't be technical 😅

Sebastian Sallow – black Audi 100 C3 (1990)

Old soul, loud engine, no filter – emotionally or mechanically.

Drives like he’s running from his past (he is)

only plays old 80ties soundtracks

The 5-cylinder roars louder than his internal monologue

No modern safety features. No catalytic converter! Just pure steel and spite.

“I’m not speeding, I’m escaping consequences.”

Poppy Sweeting – mint green VW New Beetle 1.6 (2005)

Soft "girl" car but will absolutely ram a poacher off the road.

Backseat contains at least one magical creature at all times

Has flower stickers and tire tread from chasing poachers

Her bumper stickers are slightly threatening moral lessons

“Please buckle up, we're going off-road. And don’t scare the Niffler on the backseat.”

This is for my AU, and this occurs during Sonic Forces. Shadow just ripped the Phantom Ruby out of Infinite's chest, so Infinite is dying rn.

Infinite is a zombie in this, like he's been dead for around 9 months but the Phantom Ruby kept him animated.
