you know what guys, maybe i should rename myself to eggsrealismoilpaintz seeing as coloured pencil illustrations seem to cause such distress to the anons … what should i paint next? a bowl of rotten fruit? a dreary seascape perhaps? something entirely devoid of joy and whimsy? a photorealistic depiction of a tax form and bill statements? is that adult enough? is that real art in your eyes dear anon?

✨ pokémon AU! 🔴✨ clora is mainly fairy & psychic (bc shes sweet but also smart) whereas seb trends towards fire/dark (even tho i only ended up giving him 1 dark pokemon...shhh) i originally gave him a houndour, bc dark + guard dog was such a perfect combo for him, but arcanine ALSO suits him and is way cuter so i had to go with that 🥹 and i had to fit in a raven and a snake pokemon somewhere bc...cmon🥰 BAHAHA

Hell yeah dude congrats on the mini human!!! If you’re craving chocolate chip cookies, brownies etc but don’t want to worry about a messy kitchen after, there’s a few ways to make single servings in a mug in the microwave and a few of them don’t use egg if you’re worried about things like salmonella and any other health concerns that come with not using a conventional oven. Also, if you REALLY want another layer of protection, heat treating flour can kill a lot of harmful stuff as well for extra peace of mind. Either spread a thin layer on a cooking sheet and bake at ≈150°C (converted from freedom units lol) for 10 minutes, or you can nuke a bowl of it in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring occasionally.

I know when my mom was having my sister years ago, she had to be careful about things that were normally okay before and my dad would take a couple extra precautions when cooking for us.

I’ve also seen packets of Betty Crocker mix in stores marketed as “(X) in a mug” (the blueberry muffins are my favorite personally)

They’re marketed as just “Mug Treats” and so far I’ve seen one with Hot Fudge Brownie, one with Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie, and another with Funfetti.

Whew, sorry for the yapping 😅 I just remembered you mentioned craving chocolate and sweets so I thought I’d share with the class in case you wanted baked goods quickly and without all the mess afterwards.

I love being in the kitchen) I made one a week ago and then I made 5 more (aka my own mom made them with/for me) and I said it was literally the best thing my taste buds have ever witnessed in that moment. it really hit the spot. we also threw some cherries from a jar in that bih and it's🤌🏻 chef kiss

MASSIVE SPOILER for one of the endings.

it's been a while since i tried looking, but i did hear that something like this happens last year and over time started to think, "was it a fluke?" bc no one posted footage or caps of it then, and i aimed for a completionist run in my first playthrough. turns out it's real! and definitely shines a new light on a character that, for most other types of playthroughs, will not give this much emotion! I feel like I'm the odd man out but what i was actually most disappointed that Bioware has had every opportunity to bring back Sten as the Arishok but decided to put it in a codex instead. We get Varric for 3/4 games when he really doesn't need to be there but in the middle of all the very relevant Qunari drama you can't give us an Arishok Sten cameo? No? We're supposed to just read in a throw away codex that he got attacked off screen and is now serving with the Ben-Hassrath? Ok, guess I'll sit through tedious Solas monologue 987...thanks Bioware.

Easily-thwarted villains and mindless mobs isn't the note I wanted to end on with the Qunari Invasion. It was one of my biggest disappointments too.

I makes me appreciate the DA2 presentation of the Qunari more. Is it perfect: no. But the Qunari being invaders doesn't detract from them being people with beliefs and thoughts worth investigating. They're 'problematic' but you look around Kirkwall and think damn what faction isn't in (Southern) Thedas. I liked that approach.

We get to know the Arishok's motivations and beliefs. We're introduced to the Tal-Vashoth and speak with one (Maraas). We learn about Seheron and the Fog Warriors through Fenris. We have a whole quest centered around a Saarebas where we learn how mages are treated under the Qun, how non-mages born from a mage-bearing womb are treated even. Ridiculous amount of depth. They didn't have to go that hard.

I finally read the Bioware portion of Blood Sweat And Pixels this morning after many years so I feel exceptionally out of my mind praising the hot hell that was DA2's development. But it really did hit all the right notes for storytelling. I hope it blows the tits clean off of new fans coming in from DAV.

Bradley flicked the desk lamp on. Then he inhaled and turned to face Jake, who was hiding behind the frame of the door, though he was pretending he wasn’t. 

“C’mere?”

Jake swallowed visibly. “Yeah, okay.”

He came readily into Bradley’s waiting arms, but the tense line of his shoulder wouldn’t do. Bradley ran a hand down his back, to try and ease the tension. His own nerves were a mess and his scent reflected it, which wasn’t helping. This should’ve been easy, nothing new, except it was. This wasn’t some random at a party, or a month-long fling for the hell of it. 

This was Jake. A best friend and constant rival wrapped into one. Bradley pushed the Monday dinner between their families out of his head. 

“Hey,” Jake said. He nudged his nose against Bradley’s own. And laughed, light, a little in disbelief.
