Girl, I love the doomed protagonists so much; they would sacrifice themselves every day, yet they continue to hurt those around them. They are not the villains, but they are the obstacles to the happiness of others. The story is already written, and no matter how hard they try, they cannot save everyone and will lose themselves in the process

i see u like vrisjade .. would you be willing to explain what u think their dynamic would be . i want to like it but ive never been able to wrap my head around what they would be like

theyre not my otp i just draw them for clout

my understanding is that the appeal lies in a bit of wishful thinking. "what if vriska learned to be nicer?" and "what if jade went a little apeshit?" i do think they would work well as kismeses (or, more likely, one-sided blackrom crushes because jade has other things going on and can't be bothered to spend her whole life obsessing over the girl who gave her narcolepsy as a kid), but pretty much all the stuff you'll find for them is redrom vriska rehabilitation fluff (which is CUTE and WHOLESOME and FUN, and i ENJOY DRAWING IT, but . . . i like it when vriska is kinda balls to the wall insane instead of all niceys).

SO! that being said, i do think their dynamic would be really interesting even in a non-shipping context because they DO definitely need to clear the air re: the whole narcolepsy and viciously insulting your teen grandpa within 5 minutes of officially meeting him thing. i stand by what i said in this post about their dynamic, noting furthermore that vriska does mention and talk about jade a lot in the comic despite never having a canonical conversation with her (it's implied; she is in jade's trollslum on pesterchum after all), so . . . vriska definitely thinks about jade more than jade thinks about vriska, and probably projects a whole lot onto jade as a sort of kanaya-aradia amalgamation proxy. she totally fumbled those two, but SURELY she can stick the landing on this smart and silly genius who CLEARLY needs a good blackrom bucketing to loosen up. right???????? human romance isn't that complicated and it's not like her dating pool is super wide what with the rest of the humans either locked in monogamous relationships (with trolls, narrowing vriska's competition further) or being "in families" with jade.

it would be really funny for them to end up in a quasi-auspisticeship (likely candidates for the third wheel being karkat, john, and regrettably kanaya im so sorry bbg) or for vriska to have an aneurysm upon finding out about human polyamory and the simple fact that jade has more positive and developed dynamics with Many other characters before she even thinks of vriska.

tl;dr i'm the wrong person to ask if you want to be sold on vrisjade i just think they're neat individually and dont mind drawing them together

I've been fixated on death note lately and I think I've watched the musical 3 times, seen the entire TV drama, and listened to the LA BB novel audiobook 4 times in the last month. but I cannot for the life of me finish rewatching the actual anime because after L dies I just miss him and can't pay attention.

i love when artists draw their favorite characters from vastly different medias interacting. i would do that if i knew how to draw characters. alas, it is not the case.

anyways if i could, i would draw a little comic of Webby from Ducktales befriending Eurylochus from Epic the Musical. this silly comic idea has been stuck in my head all day, so i am asking you all to envision it in your heads as well.

alt title: what happens when an autistic woman watches sonic infection au's last week and then gets obsessed and decides to make her own ideas. i made an idea for a death battle/dbx infection au then a smash au as well only to realize that already exists.

so yeah i made my own ideas for an multi-fandom/death battle/smash bros infection au. some notes:

>kirby gets infected or dies in a lot of these (i get it it's because to show "NOT EVERYONE IS SAFE EVEN THE CUTE OR OP CHARACTERS ARE SCREWED). so for this i'm like how about no fuck you you know what I'm gonna subvert that expectation/trope. kirby will be the MC and the shining star of hope in this situation (because fun fact in the anime one episode shows everyone being sick except for Kirby. Also Kirby is a being of purity and goodness so he's immune to the infection). Kirby needs to go through some training arc as well to become strong enough to eventually fight the infected!Goku and protect his friends. Mario and Peach are also gonna be alive in this, Mario will be the doctor that tries so hard to find a cure.

>Ken is the first person who gets infected. Ken starts to feel sick, Ryu notices Ken has purple spots on his skin and slimy tentacles. Ryu tries desperately to help Ken feel better by winning martial arts tournaments to buy medicine for the now bedridden Ken and begs Mario to promise him that he'll save Ken. Ken one day attacks both Kazuya and Kirby by spamming his hadokens at the Mishima Dojo stage. Ryu becomes depressed and has low sanity because his rival got infected. Also so many of his allies/friends are dead, infected, or missing. Mega Man and Terry Bogard are the only two people keeping him from losing his shit. Ryu doesn't know yet that both Cammy and Chun Li are still alive and not infected.

>Kirby, Mario, Peach, Zelda and all the entire smash bros Fighters Pass Vol. 2 Fighters (Kazuya, Sephiroth, Sora, Min Min, Pyra/Mythra, Rex, and Steve) run away to a portal created by Magalor and escape to Dreamland/Planet Popstar. Dreamland and Planet Popstar is basically the "safe zone" for our heroes because op abominations is an ordinary Tuesday for the Kirby characters so any infected folks that try to hurt others gets killed instantly. Kirby is a lil worried about King Dedede and Meta Knight (spoilers: don't worry they're safe. alive and not infected. they will reunite with Kirby eventually).

>Kazuya gets worried about G-Corp and everyone in the Tekken universe while chilling at Planet Popstar. Kazuya sends an email to G-Corp with an analog horror like video file attached to the email. In this analog horror-aesthetic video Kazuya tries to warn G-Corp and the whole Tekken world about the virus/parasite thing. He tells the whole story about the Mishima Dojo incident when it all started saying that both he and a friend got attacked by an infected victim. Kazuya warns everyone to stay far away from the Mishima Dojo located on the Mishima estate. Sadly Heihachi of course ignores his son's warning and thinks the infected!Sasuke Uchiha is just another Devil Gene user even immediately starts comparing Sasuke to his son Kazuya. Heihachi becomes bedridden after being infected by Sasuke - Kuma and Reina puts poor Dr. Bosconovitch at gun point forcing the old doctor to try to cure Heihachi. Heihachi gets infected and kills both Kuma and Reina. Jin Kazama later finds the data from the late Dr. Bosconovitch about Heihachi's infection and the stages to give our heroes the idea of how the infection works and the stages of infection.

>Sasuke Uchiha also gets infected too because he mistaked the infected Steven for just a orphan who lost his parents and felt bad for him wanted to give him a hug. Sasuke tries to use Naruto's ideology or philosophy to help others only to get infected. Sasuke ends up bedridden and getting purple spots all over his skin making him unable to even do shinobi missions. Naruto and Kakashi think it's just a "chakra illness". Naruto and Kakashi leave for a mission at the Sand Village to help Gaara while Sakura, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Karin tries to help Sasuke (yes, Sasuke being infected was so bad they even needed to resort to getting help from Orochimaru). Sadly Sasuke ends up infected and then he uh (kills Sakura, Sarada, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Ino, Kabuto, Karin, Jugo, and Suigetsu)

>similarly to Sasuke, both Deku and Tanjiro also get infected while trying to help someone (thinking an infected victim is just innocent civilian who needs help or get sent to a doctor for medical assistance).

>Naruto and Kakashi have no idea that Sakura is already dead, Konoha has been destroyed by the infected! fighters (then again since when has Konoha not been fucking attacked - for the billionth time), and Sasuke had been infected. Madara Uchiha fights the infected!Satoru Gojo alongside Hashirama but then just as Madara was about to kiss Hashirama - then sadly the exhausted wounded Hashirama is suddenly brutally killed right in front of Madara by the infected!Heihachi. Madara returned to the destroyed Konoha which got washed by infected!Heihachi and infected!Sasuke. In the ruins of the hidden leaf village, Madara finds the notes from the late Sakura Haruno detailing Sasuke's infection which is more crucial scientific data/research needed for our heroes to understand how the infection works or the stages of infection.

>some of the stronger deceased characters like Star, Green Lantern, etc - yeah they're strong but sadly they got jumped, killed, and washed badly by Infected!Goku and Infected!Batman. ;w; Green Lantern sacrifices himself to save the Justice League members - some of the Justice League members as well as other DC characters like Harley end up missing after Goku's attack and Batman's infection.

>Jin Kazama was just enjoying his life in Yakushima when the infected Sasuke Uchiha shows up and straight up kills both Hwoarang and Xiaoyu. ;m; (i make my favorite characters suffer too much sometimes)

>one day infected!heihachi, infected!sasuke, and infected!batman visit New York City. Shredder is the only character so far who lets himself get infected because he's desperate to kill master splinter and the turtles at this point (I mean for crying out loud in the nick early 2010's adaptation he literally would sacrifice all of humanity or let himself get infected with mutagens to kill master splinter. in the 2003 adaptation he also literally almost destroys the multiverse to kill the turtles. yeah this is something he'd actually do). Hopefully either Madara or Naruto will show up in time to save Master Splinter or the turtles before the infected!Shredder fucks them up badly.

>Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash will just be a minor antagonist, he just appears sitting on top of a collapsed building full of crushed rotting corpses and starts rapping dissing the heroes for a bit - then just dips and leaves while searching for the missing Barry Allen to torture him some more. Yes same thing with Shredder, Reverse Flash cares more about his hatred for the Flash than using his genius brain to help the heroes stop the infection.

>idk want some RyuKen or SefiKura angsty yaoi where the blonde (aka Ken and Cloud) get infected and their lover just despairs.

>also some crossover yaoi moments with Kazuya x Sephiroth or Aizen x Madara or Alucard x Guts

>Animal Crossing universe is cooked, they were too pacifistic to handle combat or war with the Infected. They were NOT ready for the infected! Pokémon or other infected enemies to attack at all. Also both Villager and Isabelle got infected. Some of the villagers survive uninfected thanks to Kirby & his friends (ex. Static, Audie, Filbert, Diana, Portia) but yeah Animal Crossing universe is done for. Same thing with the Attack on Titan verse or the Star Vs verse cooked just cooked.

>Meanwhile back in the Mario universe Bowser tries to warn the Koopa Kingdom about infected folks after Luigi and Yoshi warn them when they both got chased by an infected!Balrog in the forest. Bowser's whole PSA video warning his army about the infection is similar to analog horror stuff. Then Bowser, Boweser Jr., and Kamek watch in horror as the castle crumbles to the ground and all 3 of them got killed by a gigantic infected Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd (which looks like a giant demonic beast with blonde hair, his own holy weapon attached/fused to one of dimitri's arms, and very sharp claws). The Goombas and Koopas sadly weren't safe either. Luigi and Yoshi go missing after this.

>Metal Sonic dies trying his hardest to fight the infected!Sasuke Uchiha but gets electrocuted and hit with Sasuke's electric dragon. Eggman as well as some of Sonic's friends end up missing. Sonic is worried about his missing friends (so is Amy and Shadow). Sage searches everywhere for her father. Eggman's daughter Sage eventually ends up meeting Kirby and his friends. Sage joins Kirby and his friends hoping she'll maybe find Eggman with their help.

>Both Hueco Mundo and Soul Society got attacked by the infected!Sasuke Uchiha and some other infected!fighters. The Bleach characters assume that the infected are just hollows at first. Ichigo rushes to Soul Society only to witness Hitsugaya and Rangiku mouning the deaths of Hisagi, Kira, and Momo who all got crushed to death by a burning collapsing building (the infected caused the building to collapse). Ukitake tries to take down the Infected!Sasuke using his bankai (something which he never did in the anime/manga so I figured Ukitake should use his bankai), then however Ukitake gets killed by the Infected!Sasuke in front of Rukia and Shunsui. Ichigo was too late, Ukitake is dead. Then the infected move on to Hueco Mundo using Sasuke's Rinnegan. Sadly Grimmjow and Ulquiorra die sacrificing themselves to save both Aizen and Orihime. Infected!Heihachi kills some of the lower rank weaker hollows like Yammy, Loly, and Menoly. Unlike Konoha, fortunately Soul Society and Hueco Mundo do recover. Good news is that both Aizen and Ichigo are alive and not infected - they both eventually join our heroes to try to stop the infection or protect/save lives from the infected.

there's way more to this but these are all the head cannons/notes i have for now. this is all just simple mere brainstorming or a rough draft of creative ideas for an infection au. still have no idea about how this infection even began/who's responsible or the method someone gets infected (I just simply know some of the symptoms and stages).
