The Triune God was Involved with Christ's Ascension and the Pouring of the Spirit
Even as the Divine Trinity is the framework of the entire New Testament, so the Divine Trinity is the structure of the book of Acts; in particular today we want to see how the Triune God was fully involved with the Son’s ascension and the pouring out of the Spirit. Amen! This week we are in the last week on, Experiencing, enjoying, and expressing Christ (part 1), and the topic is, The Divine…

Saturn in the Signs
paid readings | Masterlist
ᡣ𐭩 Please support me by reposting, liking, following me and commenting your placement. Saturn represents resitictions, delays and obsticals however it's precious as it represents dicipline and what comes from struggle results in a beautiful flower of growth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
0º is the degree which doesn't have a coresponding sign assigned to it. It's a fresh new degree and will amplify the themes of the sign that it's in
Aries (1,13,25º) This placement often restricts decisions, self-assertion, and independence. Natives may battle with impatience, fear of authority figures, or a fear of taking charge, but by practicing self-control and confronting these concerns they develop confidence and the ability to effectively apply their pioneering spirit.
Taurus (2, 14, 26°) Lessons pertaining to financial stability, values, and material security are particularly crucial when Saturn is in Taurus. Early problems or worries about money and belongings may surface, but these people can develop long-term prosperity and a strong sense of practical self-worth with hard work and a targeted approach.
Gemini (3, 15, 27°)When Saturn is in Gemini, intelligence, education, and communication are highly valued. Individuals may have difficulty expressing themselves clearly, struggle with disorganised ideas, or feel ashamed of their intelligence. Conducting thorough research, cultivating a disciplined learning style, and having the capacity for accurate and clear communication are all necessary for mastery.
Cancer (4, 16, 28°)This placement covers topics like emotional stability, family, and roots. Early experiences with emotional control or a strong sense of familial duty may have taken place. Being a reliable anchor for loved ones requires developing a strong emotional foundation, learning self-care skills, and establishing appropriate boundaries at home.
Leo (5, 17, 29°) The ego, creativity, and self-expression are all hampered by Saturn in Leo. People may experience pride issues, fear criticism of their skills, or feel constrained in their ability to express who they truly are. The journey involves developing genuine confidence that is independent of outside validation as well as learning how to communicate their unique talents in an honest and modest way.
Virgo (6, 18° ) When Saturn is in Virgo, the emphasis shifts to service, daily routines, and perfectionism. Anxiety about details, self-criticism, or feeling overburdened with obligations are examples of problems. Developing effective systems, embracing failure, and finding fulfilment in applying effort and hard work to make a meaningful impact are all steps on the path to mastery.
Libra (7, 19°) Because it is exalted in Libra, Saturn performs well there. The primary subjects of this placement are justice, fairness, and relationships. Natives learn about commitment, collaboration, and diplomacy. Their consistent pursuit of integrity and balance in all of their relationships solidifies their reputation for justice and moral behaviour.
Scorpio( 8, 20°) We can learn a lot about transformation, power, control, and shared resources from Saturn in Scorpio. There may be ingrained worries about vulnerability, trust, or loss. Confronting shadow elements, building resilience, and learning how to handle difficult emotional and financial circumstances with integrity and inner strength are all part of the process.
Sagittarius (9, 21°) By combining a methodical structure with a philosophical pursuit of truth, Saturn in Sagittarius promotes a serious approach to higher education and the development of strong moral principles. This placement encourages deliberate exploration and a grounded optimism as individuals balance their need for independence with a commitment to responsible, meaningful growth.
Capricorn (10, 22º) Because Saturn rules this position, it is ideal for ambition, self-control, and financial success. Natives frequently take on significant responsibilities and are typically very responsible, dedicated, and driven to succeed. Despite their enormous potential, they still need to learn how to balance their personal and professional lives, control their ambition, and remain flexible.
Aquarius (11, 23°) Saturn in Aquarius emphasises cooperation, generosity, and originality. Individuals may have trouble making friends, feel responsible for social problems, or find it difficult to fit into established systems. The lesson's primary goals are to encourage genuine, meaningful change, create strong, accountable communities, and present unique ideas to the group.
Pisces (12, 24°) Teachings about compassion, spirituality, and establishing boundaries are particularly crucial when Saturn is in Pisces. Natives may choose to leave, feel like martyrs, or struggle to set boundaries. Mastery includes establishing healthy emotional boundaries, integrating spiritual knowledge with pragmatic realities, and identifying systematic ways to demonstrate empathy and service.

on the aesthetics of asian erasure in star wars: obi-wan kenobi and the planet of naboo
Tumblr media
when we talk about representation in star wars, the conversation often stops at what’s visible or credited. star wars has a long-standing problem with the lack of asian leads or asian-coded worlds, but sometimes what’s more insidious is the erasure of asian influence where it once existed, or where it was clearly intended to be.
take obi-wan kenobi. before alec guinness was cast, george lucas had reportedly wanted a japanese actor to play the role, toshirō mifune, most famously known for his work with akira kurosawa. lucas has never strayed away from citing the hidden fortress as a direct inspiration for a new hope, and the jedi, in their original conception, from eastern philosophies, particularly bushido and zen buddhism. this was not accidental. it’s embedded into the language, “obi” (the sash of a kimono), “wan” (a name component common in chinese and southeast asian names), and “kenobi,” which emulates the structure of japanese surnames. it is an asian-inspired name, heavily so.
but when mifune declined, lucas pivoted. and instead of keeping that vision intact, the jedi master archetype, the wise elder, steeped in tradition, was lifted from its asian origins and handed to a white british actor. and then later, to ewan mcgregor, whose performance, while incredible, westernized the role further. we are told obi-wan is from “stewjon,” a planet born out of a joke, a merging of jon stewart’s name, after he asked lucas where obi-wan was from. then “space scotland” became the shorthand. that change from asian inspiration to european performance was never really questioned.
it’s not about demanding obi-wan look asian. it’s that the character was rooted in an asian framework, and that framework was abandoned the moment it became inconvenient to uphold. and that sets the tone for much of star wars, aesthetic borrowing without meaningful credit.
naboo is another case where this shows up. the common narrative is that naboo was inspired by renaissance europe, with its lush italian architecture, baroque dresses, and romanticized monarchy. those elements are there. but there’s a consistent thread of asian influence that is almost never acknowledged.
the names of the monarchs are a starting point. padmé, from the sanskrit “padma,” meaning lotus. sabé and saché, echoing asian and hindi name constructions. queen jamillia, whose name stems from arabic roots, suggests influence from islamic culture. even the name “naboo” itself sounds curiously close to nebo, a mesopotamian god, or nabu, the sumerian deity of wisdom. the planets closest to naboo in the galactic grid, like sereno and ord mantell, also carry vague echoes of eurasian tone.
but most significantly, look at the costume design in the phantom menace. trisha biggar drew from a range of global influences, but some of queen amidala’s most iconic gowns were directly modeled after traditional mongolian royal attire, specifically the headdress and layered robes worn by mongolian empresses. the high collars, rich brocades, and facial makeup are unmistakable. yet, in the lore, naboo is labeled as european. not central asian. not global. and certainly not asian.
this is not to say star wars owes its worldbuilding to any one culture. it doesn’t. part of its power comes from its ability to merge and reimagine cultures. but there is a problem when the contributions of asian cultures are stripped of credit, while european aesthetics are exalted as canonical. when a jedi’s name can be asian, his values drawn from eastern philosophies, his robes loosely modeled on samurai garb, and yet his face, voice, and homeworld are made definitively western.

I see a lot of people throw around the term fascist on this website, but I’ve never seen a definition for it, so I’m going to provide one.
The definition of fascism, if you look it up in a dictionary, should sound something like this:
a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and race above the individual, that is associated with an autocratic government
Source: Merriam-Webster
This definition of fascism notably includes both Nazism and Classical Fascism (Italian Fascism) but leaves out other Fascist movements, namely Brazilian Integralism and Falangism.
So to really understand Fascism, you must first understand the “arms” of what makes up a fascist government or movement.
The arms that I was taught are as follows:
1. Corporatism - the belief that class conflict is unnecessary and the various social classes must cooperate and do their job. Please note that it is used in other contexts, and Fascism usually adds on the caveat that the classes cooperate with the good of the state
2. Militarism - Fascist movement traditionally merge state & military, which goes with corporatism to militarize society into strict and rigid social hierarchies. This also has the added effect of making Fascist nations more belligerent but also more unstable, as a fascist military when overstepping its duties often contradicts official government policy (for an example, look up the Marco Polo bridge incident)
3. Hatred of intellectualism - fascist movements dislike intellectualism, as freedom of thought can contradict what they believe to be the one truth. This is an important time to tell you that Fascism is a reactionary movement. Fascists do not like change, and dream of an imagined past ideal society.
4. Violent rhetoric against communism - Fascist movements arose in Europe as a result of the ascendancy of the USSR. Many prominent fascists used the fear of communism to cement their power and initiate purges. Fascists dislike communism because communism advocates for abolition of class structure and social equality, neither of which fit with the nationalist & hierarchical view of Fascists.
5. Ultra-nationalism & supremacy of the state - these two go hand in hand, as Fascists believe their nation to be above all else, superior and unbeatable in every way to every other country in the world. The state is the supreme power in fascist nations, and compliance is not expected as much demanded from all citizens. This often ties into racist views of fascists, who believe their race, similar to their nation, to be superior to all else. It is important to note that some fascist movements were not as extreme in the race department, as Integralism advocated for people of all races co-existing, so long as they were subservient to the states will, and Falangism believed that all Hispanic peoples (Spaniards, non-Brazilian South Americans, Latinos, Mexicans, and Philipinos) were all part of the super race, and should interbreed to create superhumans.
6. One leader - fascist movements have one person who is viewed as supreme & infallible, who wields autocratic authority over every aspect of the state and is treated as though they are the nation in many cases.
7. Feeling of national humiliation - fascist movements often espouse that their country has been slighted or humiliated by their allies or rivals in the past, and that the only way to make up for this stain on national honor is to expel those who humiliated the country (often ethnic minorities) and create a homogeneous and pure society
8. Mass media & propaganda - Fascism uses false statements and misinformation as propaganda to cement their authority and make their influence complete.
So with all of that in mind here are some prominent fascist governments both in history and modern day:
1. Italian fascism, aka classical fascism was started by Benito Mussolini and was the offical ideology of Italy until the end of WWII. Corporatism was the biggest tenant of this branch, along with a strong feeling of national betrayal by the allies in WWI.
2. Nazism, a movement that existed after WWI was taken up by Austrian politician Adolf Hitler, who led Germany until his death in 1945. Nazism called for racial purity, and used anti-Semitic & slavophobic rhetoric, all of which eventually led to the invasion of Poland (a Slavic country with a large Jewish population) and the start of WWII
3. Francoism / Falangism were competing Spanish ultranationalist ideologies following the conclusion of the Spanish civil war. Dictators Franz Franco won out and his ideology would rule Spain until the 1970s. The linguistic discrimination used by Francoism laid the groundwork for the modern Catalan & Basque independence movements
4. The Japanese military ruled Japan in a military dictatorship during WWII, and used fascist rhetoric and tactics, coupled with Japanese society being already arranged in a way to facilitate this, and supreme loyalty to the Emperor. The movement died out after WWII and the US occupation of Japan, as the Japanese military was formally disbanded and downsized immensely
5. Yes by my definition, Trumpism is a fascist movement. Please note that Trump is not a Nazi, he is a fascist and more specifically a Trumpist.
6. There were many smaller and less significant fascist countries during WWII and after, but I don’t know enough about none of them to say definitively if they were / are

The Birth Chart of Japan 🇯🇵🌸
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Japan Birth Chart Placements 🌌:
Rising in Virgo | Sun in Aries | Moon in Leo | Mercury in Taurus | Venus in Taurus | Mars in Cancer | Jupiter in Cancer | Saturn in Sagittarius | Uranus in Leo | Neptune in Libra | Pluto in Leo
Virgo Ascendant: One of the first impressions Japan receives is that it is a highly organized country with systems that can be considered complex because the systems are designed to be highly functional with a high degree of precision. This is evident in its well-structured government, efficient public services, and emphasis on order and discipline in daily life
Mercury & Venus in Taurus: Anime is known for its artistic beauty, deep storytelling & themes/characters that go beyond the surface. The Moon (the planet of feelings & emotions) feels exalted in the sign of Taurus, and Japan has their Venus in the sign of rulership, Taurus. Taurus is a sign associated with beauty & art. Many people watch anime in its original language, Japanese, as opposed to the dubbed-over version in their own language. Many people find the Japanese language aesthetically pleasing (Mercury in Taurus is known for having an aesthetically pleasing talking voice)
Jupiter & Mars in Cancer: Japan is generally considered a family-oriented country, with a strong emphasis on family values and tradition, and deep respect for elders is a strong foundational principle taught from a young age in Japan. Cancer is connected to ancestors, and Japan has significant practices for ancestor worship; this fosters a strong connection to present and past generations (Cancer also rules over nostalgia). Jupiter represents our values on a deep, spiritual level, and Mars represents what we exert a lot of energy towards
2nd House in Libra: Japanese culture is generally known for its emphasis on harmony, respect, & politeness, and the 2nd house represents our skills, what we value, & our habits
Uranus 15° & Pluto 13° in Leo: Japan is ranked 13th globally in innovation and is considered a technologically advanced country. Whatever planet is sitting in the sign of Leo can represent where we are naturally talented and can be one of the "main ideas." Uranus rules over innovation, technology, & the future, whereas Pluto represents power
North Node in Libra & South Node in Aries: The South Node in Aries shows off how Japan in history has had fierce troops, been extremely strategic in military, & beat up countries way larger than them (Russia & China). Interestingly enough, the North Node in Libra can also show how Japan eventually surrendered the last time it was at war
PT 2: Libra rules over popularity, art, food & aesthetics; it doesn't surprise me that Japan created new laws due to the rise of popularity and surge of tourists (this happened when Japan had its nodal opposition from 2023-2024)
9th house in Taurus: Since the 9th house represents culture/religion, I'm using this house to interpret what the culture/main religions of the country are like. Taurus is the sign that is associated with the present moment & nature. Shinto (the largest religion in Japan) is a religion that focuses on harmony with nature & the present moment
Saturn trine Sun, Uranus & Pluto | Saturn sextile Neptune: Saturn is aspecting 7 different parts of the chart, mostly well-aspected at that. Saturn, seen so heavily throughout Japan's chart, explains why Japan values structure, longevity, systems that work, harmony, respect, politeness, taking responsibility for the good of its citizens, tradition, and the blend of ancient and modern influences

imogen’s arc building to this moment, her fulfilling this horrible duty and it brings her back to the start. they’re all afraid of her and it’s like she’s back in gelvaan.
imogen’s true curse isn’t being the vessel for predathos, it’s being the vessel for things that people would rather not face. or the things that they can’t hold on their own.
she carries her mother’s face and her hand me down pain and it’s like she never had a chance. she’s a vessel for her father’s pain, for the life he never got to have with the woman he’d imagined having one with. she’s a vessel for a town’s fear of the things they don’t understand. the dangerous things that they can’t control. she carries that with her.
but then she leaves. and then she’s the vessel for an idea. she’s ruidusborn, she’s exaltant, she’s the hope for an existential threat and she’s the key. everything that’s too big to contain? the spillover is for her. she carries that with her.
finally? she’s literally the vessel for predathos, the god eater. she’s the one who will house the big, scary entity that people barely understand. she’s the one who will literally carry that with her. but it’s not just that she carries the one real physical threat to exandria’s pantheon inside her, it’s that she carries with her the idea that their power is at risk. their control. they are scared! of predathos, yes but also of what imogen containing him means. she’s the embodiment of their failing power structure, the cracks in their system that keep them on top. she’ll carry that with her now.
so yeah. imogen is the vessel for predathos now. but when you think about it, imogen’s been the vessel for things bigger than her her entire life.

Would you mind if I asked what the overall, like, thoughts and plot stuffs you have on a 'the inquisition as antagonists' story? Honestly sounds really interesting as an AU. Is it built off (the scant bits we have) of the cancelled Exalted March? Like the Inquisition redeclared and exalted march enacted on the Free Marches while the Qunari attack from the north and Hawk (or some other hero) trapped managing it all in the middle along with the growing red lyrium crisis? Or something entirely different?
there i was, banking on my explanations of how cool and hot the female characters would be, sure no-one would ever ask me to come up with a plot or logic... foiled...
so. loosely. as we established in da2, the mage circles are in rebellion. the divine gave cassandra one chance: to find hawke, discover the truth about kirkwall, and string them up as an example with all the blame pinned on their shoulders. (remember cassandra’s certainty that hawke and their allies planned everything from the start? i really think this makes more sense than the idea they always wanted to recruit hawke.) the mages would then have a chance to return peacefully to the circles, graciously forgiven for either being swayed by hawke’s lies (supported the mages) or being forced to react to hawke’s crimes (supported the templars). it was supposed to bring things back under control & prevent the divine from having to take more drastic measures. but varric lies, and cassandra fails. given that the rebellion is not centralised in one place anymore, an exalted march isn’t suitable. the divine declares an inquisition. and from then on, nowhere in southern thedas is safe from catching its eye
my intention was that the protagonist would still be the herald of andraste, because i think that’s the most compelling thing dai has going on. i think i’m keeping a lot of the plot with corypheus too. so: after an incident (still figuring out exactly my take) at the temple of sacred ashes, rifts pop up everywhere, and you’re the only one with the mysterious power to close them. in a time when both chantry and mages are doubted and feared, common people mark a sudden saviour as the herald of andraste who is going to bring everything back to rights. their beliefs get you help you can’t afford to refuse, as this time you’re really a prisoner and underdog in every way possible, no army of scouts here. but it also paints a target on your back. the inquisition doesn’t believe in corypheus; it’s obvious to them that these rifts are the work of the loose rebel mages everywhere, taking their vengeance on ordinary people. and you yourself must have dealt with demons to have such power, yet you dare to operate under andraste’s name. whether or not you want to be, whatever you were before, you immediately become the inquisition’s enemy #1
kind of similar structurally to how dao has loghain and then the archdemon, the inquisition would be the enemy you can deal with in multiple ways and corypheus would be the ultimate threat. i wish i could say i have something more solid than that but i really don’t, i haven’t put in a lot of work on this and there are lots of inquisition characters & subplots i don’t consider myself an expert in at all. but that’s sort of the direction in my head

3e: Alignment Is Invisible
The entire alignment system is sick from the top to the bottom and racist too.
Content Warning: I’m going to talk smack about not just Dungeons & Dragons‘ morality system in 3rd edition, but also, in the process, talk some smack about Christians, and more specifically the Jehovah’s Witnesses. If you’re not here for that, you should find yourself a door.
Few elements of Dungeons & Dragons that lay bare its deeply incoherent roots have endured quite so long as the alignment system. Whenever discussing the alignment system, and by extension, the conception of morality presented in this game, it’s always worth remembering that the framework was devised by, and speaks to the values of, a deeply racist and misogynistic man who in addition to those larger, more structurally common biases, was also a Jehovah’s Witness and heavily informed by the way that that specific sect of American Christianity works.
I’ll spare you a detailed rundown of what I mean by American Christianity (for now, because this is about Dungeons & Dragons), but instead in the broadest strokes indicate that the alignment system that Gygax conceived of was something cosmically tracked and enforced. It was a truly objective morality system; your intention or your attitude did not matter, because there was an absolute right and an absolute wrong to each action, and characters could choose to comply with that right or not, by degrees.
This is why I say racist: It’s a hard fact in the first editions of D&D under Gygax’s most direct control that killing orc children who hadn’t done anything was a moral good; those creatures were evil creatures, and regardless of consequences killing them was good. Gygax quoted the ‘lice make nits’ line from the colonialism of the Americas to reinforce this position, but he was also quite clear that it was the act itself that had its moral valence, not the results or the intention.
This quite frankly deeply evil and immoral ethical framework was the horse to which Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition had to nonetheless hitch its wagon, and the resultant discord show a host of cracks in the way it’s supposed to work. Politicians who starve millions are in no ways doing anything wrong because they’re doing their jobs and there’s nothing evil in signing a piece of paper, but the people who enforce that law and keep orphans away from the food are also not doing anything wrong because they’re just upholding order. The core rulebook of 3rd edition had to try and address this framework without making it too obvious that elements of it were being thrown out the window, especially as the purpose of alignment shifted subtly in the more programmatic, more, let’s say, intentionally designed world of 3rd edition.
See, in 3rd edition, the purpose of alignment was first and foremost to let you target things. Oh sure, it was flavour, it helped to inform some monster behaviours or styles, but mostly, you were never going to scan the alignment of things you fought (not worth the effort) which meant that what alignment did was let you make reasonable guesstimates for smart-targeting of spells and effects. If you threw a spell that protected you from evil creatures into the mix it meant that you had some control over the kinds of threats you’d deal with and then prioritise them. In the purest sense, this was a reference point for magical spells.
Secondarily to that, it informed the moral valence of what you were doing and it was with the rulebooks The Book of Vile Darkness and its prettier but equally vacuous cousin The Book of Exalted Deeds that 3rd edition attempted to really roll up its sleeves and discuss morality in a way that could square the circle of previous editions’ heinous moral landscape and 3rd edition’s attempt to improve it by just rearranging some of the words.
The problem, such as it was, is that alignment was fundamentally invisible. You could have no control over what you did and how it affected you morally, because it was a matter of checking a list of subjects and determining what you did not what you thought or tried to do. If you killed a child and it turns out that child was a shapeshifted demon in disguise, the rules would say that you were in no way morally impacted by your desire to do it. If on the othe hand, you refused to kill the child that was a demon in disguise, because that’s a pretty messed up thing to want to do, then you’d failed to do a good act.
Now, the way the Book of Exalted Deeds tried to grapple with this was by presenting virtues that stood apart from the listed examples of explicitly evil acts. Doing mercy was shown as part of the tension with punishing evil and that’s a pretty good rules patch for the absolutist nature of things. It at least lets the player present something that’s within their control (why they did something) rather than one of those invisible wires around them.
One of the examples the book presented in 3rd edition was that if you climbed a cliff face, and in the process a rock fell and started an avalanche, then that avalanche killed people, then you were morally liable. In fact, a Paladin who did that kind of thing would lose access to their powers, while trying to redeem themselves for the sin of… climbing something.
The added problem with all of this is that no element of opposition or ambition cannot be framed with different moral outlooks that change nothing about how it expresses. A ruthless pursuit of justice and a sadistic love of control over criminals would both be expressed roughly similarly in a Javert-style inspector. A characte’rs own alignment, what they determine their alignment to be is something that can always be rationalised in terms of a framework of moral choices, and those intentions are going to be what informs the actual result of the test. If you’re doing everything right for an asshole reason, the world does not see you as doing evil acts, but your alignment can still be evil because there’s nothing in the world forcing you to change from your mindset of being a total prick.
The 4th edition system did try and push back against this with some interesting ideas of its own, but based on watching people talking about 5th edition games? Boy howdy they did not learn from that and instead decided to RETVRN to the worst version of the system so far.

Some planetary conjunctions and how they might manifest
Let me know what you think
...
1. ♀️☌♃
Venus conjunct Jupiter_ abundant Venus and liquidated Jupiter.
Venus is a fierce, reductive force, but one that is ultimately geared towards pleasure. Jupiter is a growing, amplifying, adundant force that must ultimately be reduced and crystalized. Venus exalts in the Jupiterian Pisces in Revati_ the last nakshatra, connecting the two. It's the goal of the two benefics that symbolizes the completion of the journey. Jupiter must give to Venus, who in turn will use that abundance for beauty, order, harmony and pleasure. Venus is also associated with death, so these two joining is really the way of the end, in the most perfect sense (ideally).
Venus-Jupiter conjunction means that a native cannot separate beauty and love from morals and spirituality. Some interesting ways that this might manifest in the mundane:
A native is pure hearted and generous, valuing loyalty, politeness and all things traditionally "good" (Jupiterian) in a Venusian way, meaning that they consider their mundane/tribal laws and values the same as their moral/spiritual alignment. If they feel betrayed, they won't hesitate to stand their ground and defend their stance, often fiercely and without much fuss.
Native seeks to find friends in people who align with their deep-seated values, who understand them on a spiritual level and fit into the material manifestation of their ideal reality.
They understand that not every ideal can be materialized, but they try their hardest to live their preferred utopia.
They are extremely defensive of their own personal philosophy and understanding of the world.
Their spirituality might be deeply connected to love, attachments, romance and sex. They might idolize those things and worship the idea of them, or they might worship their lover.
They might be attracted to Jupierian figures, people who are nourishing and have a tendency to guide them.
Despite what many would think, because of how they appear, these people are not unfamiliar with the occult. They might understand or practice it unknowingly and naturally.
They have a need to ground their ideals in the physical reality somehow.
This one is random: they might like sweet and sour food (food that is both sweet and sour). (I have this, I do...)
Some interesting biological coorelations: Venus is sour and Jupiter is sweet. In the same way that sour taste biologically has a reductive or "pacifying" effect on a cellular level (corrections are welcome I'm not a biology major😶), and sweet taste has an activating effect, Venus reduces and "refreshes" while Jupiter is like the "Yes man" of the planets, encouraging everything and anything. There is obvious danger associated with overconsumption of sweet food.
It's why this conjunction is considered so auspicious. Jupiter is already giving to Venus and Venus is nourished through Jupiter's abundance and spirituality.
Also interesting is the fact that both are abundant and considered benefics. They're the only two planets that are traditionally always benefic. Venus-death association is also because of how the ultimate pleasure can lead to death, because there is nothing else to achieve, Venus is the goal (Also interesting to connect this to Bharani nakshatra_ the beginning and the end, like Revati(also the beginning and the end)_ the exaltation of Venus, both elephant yonis). Sweet and sour food, despite being percieved as opposites, both have a negative effect on teeth (teeth are Saturn_ natural malefic). While being considred auspicious, they need to be under moderation, and can only be indulged in when the structure(teeth_ Saturn) is perfected.
These people might come across as "too nice", "too sweet" or "too good" to some people, they might be viewed as innocent or seen in an idealized light.
A lot depends on the sign, house and the nakshatra placement, as well as on potential aspects to other planets or the dignity of both. This placement does not mean that life is all sunshine and rainbows, but it does mean that one area of a person's life is lucky. The degree of that luck varies based on factors I just listed above.
2. ♄☌☊
Saturn conjunct Rahu_ destiny blockage/ denial of destiny
Saturn and Rahu are both cold planets that induce anxiety. Saturn deals with restrictions, blockages, challenges, limits and time. Rahu is the destiny of a person, the desire born out of Ketu, that which you never had but crave and feel like you must have.
Both relate to the material. Saturn brings about the material results from its controls and limitations, Rahu is the Maya itself, the percieved reality. Saturn restricts and denies, while Rahu makes you shake from the sheer craving of it.
This conjunction might feel like a cruel joke of fate. What a person desires most is denied from them. It's like, life pushes you towards it (Rahu) but then denies is harshly (Saturn). Despite the Saturnian limits, this placement won't leave you alone, because Rahu never does.
Imagine that you want something, maybe unwillingly, that circumstances and people around you always seem to push you towards it, but you also feel judged for wanting it/to do it, and that you also feel judged for not doing it.
In this aspect, the circusmtances can be interpreted from the nakshatra placement of Saturn and Rahu (and Ketu, because they're always connected), what you want can be seen in the house placement as well the nakshatra and the sign.
(This coming example is not from my chart) For example, if that the conjunction occurs in the sign of Gemini, the nakshatra of Ardra in the 5th house, and let's say Ketu is in Mula in the 11th, the person is pushed towards creativity and self-expression that includes a lot of other people(Ardra). They might want to mingle at large parties and express themselves creatively with others in an analytic and cerebral way, they might want to be respected for their logical mind and for suitable education. They might want their creative works to have collective value, and to have opinions that spark discussion, but they might never have felt worthy of it, they might thunk that they're stupid or that everyone will judge them if they dare to express themselves, because they might have experiencied that before in their life.
This is a constant tug-of-war between caution and leaping. If another planet aspects this point(esp conjunction), it becomes of immensely major importance, also given that Ketu is on the other side. A lot of what the native experiences with this feels out of their control.
I imagine there comes a time (or many) when this proccess leads to a crirical point of release, when the native has to make a decision. How gradual or immediate it is depends on everything else connected to it (sign, nakshatra, house).
Saturn is going to reward you eventually if you do everything right, and Rahu is going to calm down once you accept it and pay little attention to it (balance it with your Ketu).
3. 🌙☌♂️
Mars conjunct Moon_ sensitivity and reactivity
Both Mars and Moon represent both. Moon is sensitive and its reactions arise from the influence of others. Mars tries to defend itself because of their sensitivity and reacts out of that necessity, against whatever most others have decided.
For example, a moon dominated person's first instinct might be to try to find comfort in the surroundings when they feel sensitive, to mesh with and adjust to others. A person more dominated by Mars is most likely going to do something different and draw a clear line to set themselves apart.
When those two planets are together, a person might struggle between those two. They might react impulsively and emotionally when they feel threatened, they might angry-cry. Not necessarily a victim mentality placement but when reactions and actions are tied to the emotional and mental subcouncious of a person, they're bound to have some dramatic reactions sometimes. They also impulsively decide things on their own and might blame circumstances later if they do not work out.
Their mother might be/have been a domineering or bossy person, rarely considerimg the feelings of the native while making decisions.
These people feel fragile naturally, but they're very much capable of defending themselves. The thing is that that takes a lot of their energy that could be saved or spent doing something else.
They might also feel passionate about certain things/causes in a "more than average" intense way. They tire themselves out.
Moon is milky, cold and placid. Mars is pungent, heated, spicy. If Moon is dairy, Mars is chilli or garlic. So, there is a certain balance within this individual, but it's always at the risk of overacting or overinvesting, especially if one or both planets are not placed favorably.
Even then, this placement has a risk of unnecessary aggression (or aggression presented as care), especially when it's placed in a tense/triggering nakshatra like Dhanishta (even though Mars is exalted) or in an intense sign like Scorpio, despite the fact that Mars does well in both of those places on its own.
4. ☀️☌♄
Sun conjunct Saturn _ humble soul, integrated ego
So this one is interesting and kind of classic, because Sun and Saturn together is quite a pair.
Traditionally, they're considered enemies, but in the case of people ruled by their nakshatras, theose people work extremely well together.
Natives who carry this conjunction are used to feeling small and inferior since they could remember.
Sun is the soul, Saturn is the limitation. Soul is limitless on its own and immortal in its essence, and despite the fact that Saturnian material boundaries do not kill it, they still give it a really hard time.
Saturn is basically the "maker" of the in-carnation (coming into the body) in a sense that it rules time, finite-ness and all things tangible. In a way, Sun is more solid and crystalized, but it also cannot shine to the full extent that it wants to.
This placement gets easier and easier with time and it's not the worst affliction that a person can have. It's still stable (unless there's also Mars, Moon or Rahu involved) and constructive on some level.
It still does mean that Sun is afflicted by anxiety and nervousness though.
These natives need to develop an immunity to being intimidated and ridiculed. They have to learn to let the unnecesary doubt go.
They might feel like they can never get away with anything. It's like, one way or another, they can never avoid punishment, even if others somehow can and even if it seems unfair.
There is an air of seriousness with them when it comes to their personal lives and individuality. They might not like overly jovial people and are hesitant to trust them. Depending on the sign, house and nakshatra placements, this is going to expand to the areas that they represent.
If, for example, this point is in Gemini, in Punarvasu, in the 4th house, this is going to affect the way they communicate and connect to family members and people close to them, also their subconcious and sense of safety. If it's in Scorpio, in Jyeshta, in the 7th house, it's going to affect their partner(s) and enemies, their competitive side, how they present themselves to everyone who isn't them, who they consider to be "the other". If it's in Aries, in Krittika, in 9th house, it's going to affect their sense of self in the grand scheme of things, their beliefs and philosophy, what they consider to be morally good and correct or not, how they define themselves within the world as they see it.

Saturn in the houses
Tumblr media
hii! i'm back! i'm going to do a mini series of the outer planets (Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) throughout the houses to strengthen my understanding and help others with theirs! i'm starting with Saturn because it's probably the one i connect to spiritually the most.
Saturn is the planet of structure, of tenacity, of restriction. most make Saturn out to be depressing or “bad,” and while he is a malefic, he is widely misunderstood. Saturn forces responsibility and obligation on the native to wield positive results. only through patience, dedication, and hard work can you satisfy Saturn and receive rewards beyond your imagination.
Saturn’s glyph is Jupiter’s glyph inverted because where Jupiter expands, Saturn limits. Saturn doesn’t let you get ahead of yourself.
in domicile: traditionally Aquarius, modernly Capricorn
in detriment: traditionally Leo, modernly Cancer
in exaltation: Libra
in fall: Aries
Saturn in the 1H: here, Saturn limits identity. you take life in a serious manner, including yourself. you have a hard time expressing your true personality under the shadow of self doubt, low esteem, and self restraints. you may feel like you have to always work hard or struggle, and if you’re not then you think that means you’re not moving through life correctly. Saturn will throw you new hurdles to push you to become more confident in yourself and abilities. when you learn to work with him, you will become more comfortable in your skin and in life.
Saturn in the 2H: here, Saturn limits value. you place a strong importance on money, possessions, and your personal space. for you, a lack of these things leads to low self worth. you have an ingrained fear of not having enough, of not being able to survive. no matter how much you have, you are worried about what you don’t. Saturn will throw you loss and hardship to push you to lose this fear and embrace finding security in other areas of life. when you learn to work with him, you will feel more free and secure at the same time.
Saturn in the 3H: here, Saturn limits structure. you may have matured faster than your peers due to early life experiences, and these instilled a sense of worry and responsibility in you, and can even make you socially withdrawn. you have a hard time communicating your thoughts and needs with others due to self censoring and overthinking. learning new things could also be hard for you, not necesarrily intellectually but on an emotional level. Saturn will throw you curveballs to push you to open up. when you learn to work with him, you will learn to manage your thoughts, words, and emotions.
Saturn in the 4H: here, Saturn limits emotional security. you have a good understanding that home is more than a house, and family is more than blood. you crave a deep connection with others and with a place to call “home.” the problem is now a fear of loneliness is instilled in you, and all of your actions work against this fear. this can cause traits of people pleasing and settling. Saturn will throw you changes to push you to not rely so much on feeling safe. when you learn to work with him, you will lose the fear of being alone, and you will understand that stability can come from yourself.
Saturn in the 5H: here, Saturn limits pleasure. you feel that you need a reason to enjoy yourself. responsibilities come first, and hobbies come last. or you might only view hobbies as a way to earn money, and not as fun. self expression can be hard too. early experiences might have emphasized the idea that having fun is bad, and so it can be hard for you to have a good time without feeling guilt, and hard for you to throw away your duties. Saturn will throw you reasons to become more spontaneous. when you learn to work with him, you will learn to balance pleasure and responsibility.
Saturn in the 6H: here, Saturn limits routine. you may feel that you thrive in predictable environments, especially when it comes to your career. early experiences could have made you feel that responsibility and hard work are the only pathways to success. while others work to live, you live to work, which can cause stress and worry. you also feel a huge need to service others at the expense of yourself. Saturn will throw you disruption in this routine to push you to live life in the moment. when you learn to work with him, you will learn to go with the flow a little easier.
Saturn in the 7H: here, Saturn limits intimacy. relationships (partners, friends, family) can tend to feel like the most important thing in life. you have extremely high standards and feel it is a responsibility of you and the other person to maintain those standards. with such a heavy stress on deep connection, it can cause you to be guarded and delay opening up to new people. you have an instilled fear of rejection and loss of control. Saturn will throw you experiences that push you to let go of this need for a perfect relationship and to find happiness within. when you learn to work with him, you will be allowed to build long-lasting and trusting relationships.
Saturn in the 8H: here, Saturn limits personal power. sharing things related to your power such as knowledge and resources can be a scary thing for you, as well as not being in control. you feel that sharing power with others means less for you, when it really means more for everyone. power struggles control your thoughts and actions. you may feel like you hold the burdens of others, but you would prefer that than to the other way around. Saturn throws you situations where you have to constantly relinquish some of your power to push you to embrace transformation. when you learn to work with him, you will feel more comfortable collaborating your power with others.
Saturn in the 9H: here, Saturn limits faith. you may find you have a very logical approach to the world and it’s mysteries. the skeptic belief system you developed as a child due to early experiences tends to stick with you throughout life, and it can be difficult for you to change your ideals as you grow. your rational view on the world can feel almost concrete, and cynical. Saturn throws you objections to your belief system to make you think of the bigger picture. when you learn to work with him, you will view the world with an open mind and gain a wonderful wisdom.
Saturn in the 10H: here, Saturn limits success. your life path is a huge deal for you, and it may take you many years before settling on a career or calling. you have a huge amibition, one so large that it can cause you to feel extremely hard on yourself or anxious about your shortcomings. a fulfilling career can turn into a pathway to self deprecation. no matter your accomplishments, you feel a burning need to be recognized in the world. you might have an intense fear of failure which can inhibit you. Saturn will throw you instances where people might not notice or praise your work to push you to become your own biggest supporter. when you learn to work with him, you will drop the reliance on approval to feel confident.
Saturn in the 11H: here, Saturn limits connection. it may be hard for you to be in groups, or to relate to large groups of people. you prefer quality over quantity when it comes to friends and conversations. this detachment from others can cause you to appear cold at times. you are proud of yourself and your dreams, and your fear is to become lost in the crowd. you might feel a certain resistance in social situations. Saturn will throw you rejection to push you to embrace the deeper connections in your life. when you learn to work with him, you will learn to converse and connect with others without sacrificing your autonomy.
Saturn in the 12H: here, Saturn limits your boundaries. you prefer to be in solitude and find comfort in being alone. you tend to float in the background of life without much attention from others. you might have a fear of the unknown or of anything non material, including your own mind, and so pursuing a higher mentality is something you stay away from. you are a magnet for attracting negative energy and have to learn to move around it. Saturn will throw you tests that push you to step out of the comfort of your worldly bubble. when you learn to work with him, you will open your mind to your inner self, and to the spiritual world.

𓂀 ASTRO OBSERVATIONS .
Tumblr media
☆ TROPICAL.
- DAY AND NIGHT CHARTS ARE A NICE DETAIL TO TAKE NOTE OF WHEN READING CHARTS
day charts: sun is in 7h-12h -> sun is better, jupiter is the stronger benefic, saturn is not as malefic.
night charts: sun from 1h-6h -> moon is better, venus is the stronger benefic, mars is not as malefic.
- THE MC IS THE HEIGHT OF THE CHART AND OPPOSITE THE IC, SO INDICATES WHERE YOU'RE GOING AS A PERSON IN YOUR DEVELOPMENT. IT'S NOT JUST YOUR CAREER / YOUR IMAGE.

☆ TROPICAL AND VEDIC.
- SATURN EXALTATION AND FALL EXPLAINED.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
:: saw this on twitter and just... sigh
saturn does WORSE in aries for those reasons. being all hotheaded and quick to move and start something vs taking it slow, planning, putting in the work and laying all the appropriate foundations
saturn does better in libra since it's a cardinal air venusian sign and so yes it sits and ponders, creates all the necessary structures, considers both sides (pros and cons etc)
if we think abt saturn as a judge, would u rather want the hot-headed judge or the diplomatic, fair judge? the one who makes a decision quickly or the one who may take too long, but delivers a fairer decision?
just because saturn likes a sign doesn't make the sign bad!!! it means it does BETTER in the sign.
- TROPICAL VENUSIANS ARE SIDEREAL MARTIANS.
while this is seemingly incompatible and contradictory, venus historically ruled over war (aries) and the underworld (scorpio) in several ancient mythologies.
- LEO RULES FAME AND OBSESSION.
as it's fixed fire, leo rules over both fame and obsession. we see famous people dealing with obsessed fans and haters all the time. think of a flame that just keeps on burning and burning.

the vastttt majority of people in an astrology discord i am apart of have mars darakaraka (including myself)

jupiter individuals have large eyelid space, which makes sense given jupiter's expansive quality. below are some celeb examples, but i have also seen this with people irl.

𖥔 ݁ you want to run away with xavier.  𓂃 princess mc/reader x knight xavier. endless vow verse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
mdni.
sometimes xavier wonders what he means to you, what impact his eternal devotion carries in your heart.
he wonders how much it weighs in your sternum. as your knight, all that enters his realm of concern is both your safety and your joy. yes, he lives for the birth of your elation bred from the security he ensures — a hand in yours or a hand drawing his sword in your name. he isn’t supposed to love you, but before he’s a knight, he’s only a man. honorable in truth, but still, a man comprised of flaws.
loyal but indulgent. fierce but impulsive. reliable but irrational. calm but reactive. although, for you, all xavier needs is the strength he carries inspired by his vow to you to be a knight who excels at his position and can be trusted to be at his post: by your side. and you, his forbidden awestricken lover with your honeysuckle heart bleeding the sweetest nectar over everything. what else is he supposed to do aside love you?
from your intellect to your unyielding curiosity, xavier’s grown to adore every aspect of you he observes. even when you make his blood boil, he wants to release his frustration by pressing feathery kisses to each of your knuckles. he can’t help but love you. to every question he raises, you’re the answer he finds. “princess,” xavier calls. he enters your room, voice pointed as your honorific rolls casually from his lips. you hum weakly in response. he finds you standing soundless in front of your large, bay window, looking out at the structures of the kingdom below. his obvious frustration is disregarded for the likes of pensiveness. his tone softens at the sight. “i’m…told you refuse to see your father.” “mm, that’s right,” you say distantly. “he seeks to absolve his crimes against the lemurians by marrying me off to their king. a direct line of power to lay this conflict to rest with no consequence.” xavier listens to every word you say, but you pierce a hook right through his chest when the word marrying slips out of your lips. he didn’t hear any rumors floating around and he devoutly listens for them with the same diligence that he uses to wait for your word. his frustration dies on his breath, now replaced by a swelling ache swaddling his ribs. “i refuse.” you seethe, finally turning to face xavier with teary eyes. “for obvious reasons, i can’t bring myself to marry another man that isn’t you.” despite the weight of the truth being the dagger lodged in his throat, xavier speaks to you softly. “come here, princess.” and you do, picking up the fabric of your attire to drag your bare soles over to him, your perfect lips set in a pout, his yearning to set them straight screeching inside him.
when you’re within reach, he gently cups your cheeks. an exalting and loving smile molds his lips to mask the way his heart collapses to the floor and shatters in glassy descent. “i’m your knight first. and your lover last.” xavier’s somber reminder as he presses tender kisses against your lips. “maybe we should accept this.” ignoring him, you speak as if he hasn’t. “unless we leave this kingdom, all we’ll have is this. with or without him, i want to have you, but i don’t want to put you in harm’s way. if we leave together, my father will most assuredly put a bounty on your head.” your voice shimmers with love, a solemn vow spoken with promise and fear all in one breath. he grins, bittersweet and ardent, staring into your cosmic eyes, watching stars shoot across your irises and wishing for the space to love you well. “uluru,” he murmurs, leaning his forehead against yours. your noses brush. “uluru?” “we said if we ever eloped, we’d spend the rest of our lives there.” xavier’s knuckles graze your cheek as he declares, “i’ll pay any cost there is to keep you. if you say you want to go, we’ll go. but if we go, we can’t look back. be sure this is really what you want.” because this is all he’ll ever want: to be hopelessly dedicated to you, a paragon of reverence. his heart belongs to you, for all of eternity. in this life and his next. you smile, delicate and doting, softly declaring, “i’m ready to go when you are.”
i don’t think my love will ever start to fade. my attachment to you isn’t subject to change. my heart’s yours, forever and always.
