i've not written poetry in years (i'm more of a novelist) but i allowed myself some cassandra thoughts (as a treat). i actually had a lot of fun with this and i'm desperate to do more with the idea in the future so we will see.

inspired obviously by my own muses, @two-bees-poetry for the brilliant contrapuntal poems about greek myth, and anne carson, specifically when she talks about cassandra's speech being split in two and her bridging of past and future!

thinking about how Sypha described Alucard like a "cold spot in a room" in S2, and Alucard showing up at the end of Nocturne S1 looking all desaturated, though yes ethereal, but also in a sense cold and ghostly, all buttoned up at the front. Sypha saying his sadness being like an icy well. And here he'd been so soft and happy by the S4 finale 😭 I'm nervous- but excited. And I fear the new groupie got some walls to tear down

Reminding myself about how tall Juno actually is by using a Volnutt for scale but there is always something wrong with the composition.

I am going through that nonsensical-worrying thing again when I draw a large character and think I'm drawing them too small. So I drew shots that specifically had Volnutt-n-Juno standing near each other. And of course I overestimated the space that Juno's arms take up, so Volnutt ends up in the wrong spot every single time.

I think that's a sign that Juno must be left on his own forever. Yes Mew, it's because he is a dangerous killing machine.

Like I get Emet-Selch and the Warrior of Light and Hythlodaeus and whatever. He’s trying to restore the people he loved. That plan makes sense.

What the fuck is Solas doing. What is bringing the veil down going to do. Who is he doing this for? What’s the point? I don’t get it. The game never explains it. Idk.
