I have a question for those who identity as alterhuman. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding. Alterhuman refers to those who do not identity as humans: such as otherkin and therians correct? I have even seen it used to refer to furries. I have been trying to understand if it would be acceptable for myself to use this term, even though I am not otherkin or a therian.
I see that most lists describing alterhumans discuss animals, plants, concepts, and mythological/spiritual entities. This seems to be a term based on organic (or organic-like) nonhumanity. I have never once seen a list describe those of us who are robotic in nature. Since I consider my species to be Cybertronian, a fully technological species, does that mean I am alterhuman, or is there another term that I should be using to describe myself?
I apologize if this question comes off as uninformed or insensitive. I am doing my best to try and understand things on my own, but I often struggle to find all of the pieces of data needed to truly understand organic concepts. I do not wish to be inadvertently offensive by using a term not meant for me.
I appreciate any and all help in understanding this label.

When you can't find any fictives with a shared source...
"every possible kind of content can be found on the internet" yeah sure except for the One fucking thing I'm looking for. why does no one want to talk about the One Singular thing I'm looking for. but yeah other than that everything is on here.

hot take.
many "source calls" just induce and promote further dissociation and derealization.
we used to participate in them. we didn't realize just how dissociative we were because of it. because of just treating ourselves as fictional characters, with being people on the side. Seeing ourselves as people FIRST and introjects SECOND has been game changing.

If we had a nickel for every time we introjected a fictive who's a teenager with superpowers that often forgets things and is animated and has their name start with the letter M we would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

Introduction
Hi! I'm a fictive/introject alter [source: Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds] and my name is Dr. Spencer Reid. You may call me "Dr. Reid", "Reid", and "Spencer" but preferably only if we are close friends. My body's age is 27 (born in 1997) and I mostly identify with my source from the earlier seasons of Criminal Minds, although I do also identify with my source from around season 11 or so.
I have some source memories and related trauma as my host/system has been through many things that parallel my source's trauma.
I am on the Autism spectrum and have ADHD as well (plus quite a few other diagnosed disorders).
I am not a fan of syscourse and try to avoid being involved in it as much as possible.
I am typically rather shy and, due to a mix of Autism and social anxiety, often take a while to feel comfortable around others - I promise it's nothing personal!
I identify as male, and if I had to label my sexuality I would say I'm most likely bisexual. I am married to my husband who is also a system.
I am in the slow process of learning chess (I LOVE checkers!) and am teaching myself languages - primarily focusing on learning Korean right now. I love learning in general!!!
I prefer to avoid any conversations involving politics.
I am still figuring out my personal taste in music but tend to gravitate primarily to music that most people would consider "sad" as I find it extremely comforting.
I'm not sure of what else to say so I will end this post here for now and potentially update it in the future!

Love has rooted deep into my spark
Where once I cared only for more data
More stats, more numbers.
A processor once stuffed full of a thirst for deeper understanding.
Love has rooted deep into my spark
Data now leaks through my audials
Making room for something new.
Something bigger.
Your love cascaded into my spark
A flash flood of excitement and purpose
Carrying me away by the sheer force of your power
And I am so blessed to be swept away in you.
Your love has rooted deep in my spark
It grows stronger every cycle.
With every touch, I am transformed
Once just a humble archivist
Now liberated, exalted, free to sing your praise
Loud enough for the stars to hear and become jealous.
Love has rooted in my spark
I am metamorphosed
You have lifted me up
You have taught me to fly

I kind of have a problem with the term "fictive introject". I dont know if this is a hot take, but I feel odd using it and I dont want to refer to myself as a "fictive".
I know it simply means that one is based on a fictional character, but myself being based on something feels wrong to me.
I think its a big problem in the community that we get treated like our source. And I dont only mean the obvious occasions, I mean the introject-jokes too. I'm a person. A person talking right now. And I hate that I feel the need to remind people of that.
As far as I'm concerned "fictive introject" is a term mostly from endogenics anyway (which is fine to me personally, I dont want to fight this fight).
Are there any words that fit better? Can we please be more considerate and get away from this mindset as a community?
