You know what I need to do? I need to post about Heathlock (and Sherry's other relationships) like I haven't talked about them before. There's so much lore that I never talk about, and that needs to change.
#planning ... lots of planning ...#I'm having a burst of motivation#going to slot some tasks into my planner when I get home and see how much I can get done this week#also need to focus on one habit at a time ... there's so much I want to add to my daily routine ... but I need to remain flexible‚ too#anyway--a ton of my mutuals aren't too familiar with Project Moon/Wuthering Heights/Sherlock Holmes (ACD)/Heathlock#and I can remedy that by posting more about them ~#eventually‚ that is#busy with some other tasks‚ right now ... but rest assured they are on my mind almost always#scattered pages

random kiru lore tidbit for the night. her grandparents put her in ballet classes when she was 12 to keep her out of the house give her something fun to do in her free time :3
#doodles#ocs#kiru#she actually really enjoyed the classes because she loves dance + music in general#and she only ever quit when she went to college to focus more on her studies [+ the expenses]#and later because the culture of the dance studio was hampering her recovery wrt her body image issues#but she still loves dance a lot! though these days she would probably prefer more modern dance classes#i do think she still kept up with all her stretches + incorporates them in her routine even in the present day though#if only because the flexibility is a fun jumpscare for people who Do Not Expect Her To Move Like That#her knees probably crack when she does though. equivalent exchange

yesterday it was very cold so i skipped gym but! today is even colder and it has been raining since the early hours in the morning!! but to the gym must we go ):
#i haven't felt motivated much about working out but i am still doing it because#sulking in bed isn't very good for the mind and i can do it anyway before and after the gym#i guess the frustration comes from the fact outside the strain of working out i miss the good old feeling of good aching you have the day#after i excercised so the impression is that i am not doing enough and it's all pointless ):#anyway i should change my workout routine next week and i hope it will be more interesting!! also i could start doing boxing once a week#which i really want to!! but i think i'll wait some more and build better endurance and flexibility before trying#notes of a countryside dandy#i was watching bruce lee movies so i want to try martial arts classes too (except i want to do judo) but same concept i want to get better#at being normal first and then look forward to being kicked in the ass elegantly (':

Ever since I got the 'vid I have really slowed down because of the physical toll it had on me. Getting long covid for several months stopped the workout routine I had held on to for several years, and I honestly have really struggled to get back into anything. Combine that with physical work on the farm coming to stall, increased stress levels, and the overall disruption of stability the last year so has been for me . . . Damn. I went to visit a friend in Seattle and we went to a small indoor rave and it felt like I did not know how to move my body. I had never experienced that before. I have experienced chronic pain forever, but not the level of disconnect I had from understanding how to just . . . Dance. It felt foreign and clunky and it hurt. I realized I hadn't danced in months. It's been so long since I really practiced dart that last time I broke it out 90% of the moves I had to "can operate with my eyes closed and on fire" were completely erased from my memory. All of this comingling with body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria and EVERYTHING . . . I'm not sure how to get back into moving. I have done so much to improve my self care in other ways, but holy fuck I feel so overwhelmingly sedentary.
#ive done some great hikes and walks and bike rides but none of that is lending to restoring my sense od body mechanics#ive lost a lot of flexibility and am struggling with pain and stiffness#im trying not to be hard on myself and get back into it slowly but my life right now really doesnt lend toward routine#and i miss having a dog#bc i dont wander around the woods alone anymore bc the lack of safety#(my folks dogs do not have very good recall and are honestly more of a stess and liability compared to the trail partner i used to have)#(i miss you sammie)

How am I supposed to find a good routine and stay organized if every day is different??
#like#i'm doing an internship right now#and i like it!!#but it's very flexible with times and places where i need to be#i spoke to my psychologist about how i'm so unorganized but that hopefully that would change once i get a daily routine again#which i thought i would get when i started the internship#but now i sometimes have to be there at 8am in the middle if the city#and sometimes i have to be there at 11am somewhere outside the city where there's always a 40 minute wait if i miss a train#like??#i just want some necessary routine#i don't miss much about school but i do miss that#i'm already bad at making my own routines but now my routine actually Involves different times at different days#i can't keep figuring out when i have to get up and what train i'll have to take to be at some place on time every night#it's exhausting and i just want to sleep and i'm tired so i make mistakes#i messed up at one point where i thought i had to be there at 9:30 but actually it was 8:30 and so i would have been totally too late if i#hadn't somehow woken up earlier and realized my mistake#just#hhh#i want to Have A Reason to get up at the same time every day so that i actually do it#stuff is hard#lea's random thoughts#adhd

Im currently hatching a master plan to manipulate my family into cleaning the basement as a response to the stress of losing my space in the house but also because it would be cool
#basically because I’m away my dad thinks it’s funny to say he’s clearing all my stuff out and preparing me to move out and he’ll use my room#as a home theater and as an autistic person I get very stressed by having my things changed. where im more flexible about my day to day#routine changes in my physical environment that I don’t control are very very very stressful to me#I think I can get them to agree to try but the real issue is keeping the momentum

Rhythmic gymnastics is so amazing!
So I watched the qualifications yesterday and am watching the finals now and I did not expect all of the routines turned up to 12/10! (And at least some of the looks are new, right? Or am I just not remembering correctly?)
I am of course rooting for my German sisters, but all of them are so freaking amazing! I just love this sport so much, I wish it had more room on the Olympic stage like the other gymnasts, I would watch all the individual disciplines (and even more team combinations)
#rhythmic gymnastics#olympics#paris 2024#i actually did this when i was little#unfortunately my very strict and very tournament oriented trainer relegated me to the “bad” “for fun” “beginners” class#because i showed early signs of puberty when i was 9/10#she said i will never be a good enough gymnast because of it#despite my very good flexibility and eagerness to learn#and after another year in the team that would never go farther than simple routines and christmas party performances#and lots of girls advancing to the other group and me being denied#i ended up quitting and also never even trying out for gymnastics again#i did do several years of “Gardetanz” which is cologne traditional carnival dancing and has some acrobatics#and later i changed to jazz and modern and i did cheerdance#so i guess i at least used my flexibility and love of performing
