though it still depends on the person in question and Percy's age and if he's gone through what he has in canon or not and blah blah blah

like a pre-war young Percy is more likely to be swayed by the lifestyle and money angle then a post-war older Percy would be especially when it comes to the families mentioned

Also if they were involved in the war then the way they feel about their actions during it would be a deciding factor too

if a post-war Percy believes they've changed he'd be more forgiving than say George or Ron (like it's a common thing to pop up when it comes to like Percy/Draco is where they both feel like they were fuck ups during it and that's what leads to some bonding)

What do you think, which Weasley sibling would be the first one to enter into a relationship with a pureblood partner (from families like Malfoy, Black, Lestrange) and why?

I was thinking about Percy cuz he always was a little bit different from the rest of his family and I think he would love that old money lifestyle where he and his partner can enjoy reading a book in some luxury resort.

maybe i didn't say it loud enough before. but sally grew up relying on and taking care of people who were always going to leave her. and eventually became the only survivor of her family. then she had percy and did everything in her power to be a permanent figure in his life. only to essentially die and doom her son to the same fate of being the only survivor of his family. just wanted to repeat that for those who are in the back.

I like to imagine that Bobby and Mathew Chase both think Percy is hella lame despite having been told (slightly edited to be more child friendly) stories about what he’s done and having been shown his powers like hydrokinesis, but they think that Alex is just the absolute coolest person ever and not even because she can shape shift, their belief in her coolness is based entirely on her hair, outfits, and shoes (the #1 judge of coolness to ten year olds)

Percy finds Xie Lian in the mortal realm later and offers to help him pay off his death because he’s aware they’re likely charging him for at least some the damages Percy caused as well

Percy showing up at Xie Lian’s shrine looking guilty and offering a ridiculously large bag of drachma as well as burnt offerings/prayers from Percy at every meal until Xie Lian’s own debt is paid off because he knows the other Heavenly Officials are desperate to get any payment from all the damages he’s caused.

Xie Lian denies the gold but reluctantly accepts the prayers and offerings because Percy insists he’s going to make them anyway and it’s not that hard to include a second god when he’s already doing it.

For some reason the weird teenager lurking in the shrine hasn’t stoped grinning at Percy since he showed up and only looks more thrilled when Percy shows respect for and tries to help Xie Lian.

Still dunno what Thalia might call Luke though 🤔 Cause he's already a little jaded of the gods to begin with so he'd probably try to lean away from directly Hermes-related nicknames? But he's super emo so he'd probably try for something dramatic and edgy. And Thalia would probably tease him about it as much as he teases her.

I understand why some people get annoyed by focusing on a small thing mentioned about a character

but at the same time if we only know like five things about someone why wouldn't you??

like Colin's only mentioned as having a camera in COS because it was always just for plot convenience but you can pry him having one for the whole series out of my cold dead fingers because it's one of the few defining things we have about him and anytime I've ever seen him written without one he just feels wrong and like that is not my boy

Lavender only mentions rabbits once when talking about her pet binky dying but again that is now a part of her she will now never not have bunny rabbit associations to me

Percy is not in the little known about him category as much but I feel the same way about him liking Divination too yeah it's mentioned once and in a way you could technically argue against but nope he will always like divination to me now because of it
