A tattoo is permanent, and it's her first one, so Gracia wants to be one hundred percent sure of this before she goes for it. She laughs a little. "I don't know."

It was hard for most people, post prison, to integrate themselves back into society.

Meanwhile, Áine took to it like a fish to water, finding not much was different between the two only she was surprisingly more bored being free than she had been behind bars. It wasn't as if she lacked things to do, but her purpose had been put on hold by all her time away and she just wanted to get back to work.

In jail she'd managed to find a purpose and spend her time on that, but now that she was free she was struggling to find the thing that let her release all the little demons in her person that people truly did not want to see from her.

So, when she found out that the Crimson Monarch was out of town for a bit — she didn't really care what he was doing or what it meant that he wasn't there, just how it effected her — she had a little twitch of annoyance that was swallowed down hard.

What helped was that Viktor had been the one to deliver the news and, in fact, was in the position to tell her her next job without much delay. She supposed that was one reason that it was good that the Liddell family had such a stranglehold on this particular bit of business, but it was fine.

She liked Viktor.

Well, no, she nothinged Viktor, but she was on good terms with him and found it easier to be friendly than venomous on most days — not that he's immune to her bad moods and that she can't find some annoyance to sling his way on days when he's trying very hard to push buttons.

A knock on the door to an office she knew well was all that announced her before the door started to creep open beneath her hand; finally she spoke, "Viktor? Are you in here, darling?"

The accent today leaned towards French. She had no idea how she'd come to passively shift her accent depending on the situation, but it came like breathing now; natural and unbidden.

labios se mueven en una mueca fingida, para luego inclinarse en dirección al muchacho. ‘ ¿no tienes idea? ’ luego mira a los ancianos que esperan impacientes que empiece el juego. tal vez se tomaron en serio el reto de conocer a los jóvenes o el hecho de bailar los traslada a su juventud lejana. aún no han sido anunciadas las parejas, impaciencia debe ser por eso. ‘ no se si prefieres pagar por tu escape o bailar en pareja con una de esas personas ’ señala al público. no todo se trata de ancianos, pero la probabilidad de que le toque uno existe.

Imagine being Viktor's partner before the incident of Jinx blowing them all up. I'm assuming Viktor has gone either into hiding or has run and you thinking he died have been grieving the whole time.

Being in the home you shared with him, sadness and depression rampant for months after his 'death'. Crying every night over the man you loved.

One night lying in bed alone, still having the bedsheets he preferred on. Just miraculously waking up from a dream to a fucking robot staring at you hovering over your bed.

Bright orange glow emitting from where eyes would be in the mask of the person above you, you don't know whether to run or just accept death.

Until a familiar yet now robotic accent reaches your ears. "I forgot how small you were."

thinking about how ~the arcane~ in s2 which definitely wasn't just a rebrand of the void with targonian stuff thrown in for some reason was dealt with and getting mad about it again because the roots of a poisoned tree short story exists.

some mysterious magic related corruption of unknown origin spontaneously appearing deep underground that's affecting zaun environmentally? check. a powerful magic entity showing up to warn those who discovered it of its danger? check. the narrator recalling icathia, a lost city that became a dead wasteland after being consumed by the void, meaning that could be zaun and piltover's future if they don't come together to address the issue? check. boom, plot point achieved with no multiverse, no time loops, no demonization of hextech sending an anti science message, and no ripoff age of ultron final battle necessary since they could tie it all back to shimmer which was pretty obviously connected to the void.

hello viktor nation i bring u sketchbook doodles and some updates - very long story short but i was readmitted into hospital a few days ago to surgically deal with some of my chronic pain (again!!🫩) so i have been and probably will continue to be absent here (sorry to my 15 followers😭) im home now but very tired + unable to draw atm:( and if anyone from artfight has me here btw - if youve attacked me u are first on my list to draw once im feeling better (literally even if artfight is over i’ll just send it to you idc!) mwah mwah!
