The Hazbin Hotel (1990): VOX

In the hotel, Maggie was given a few rules, all pertaining to the TV and the radio:

-Do not leave the tv and radio on for too long. -Do not leave the tv and radio on overnight. and, most importantly....

-Do not have them on at the same time.

Otherwise, you'll awaken the most depraved of the sinners.

So depraved that they rival the very owner of the hotel herself, Charlie Morningstar.

And one of them is VOX.

VOX, real name Victor O. Alexander, was once a big tv host. He hosted his own late night talk show and a whole bunch of game shows.

He climbed the ranks to the point that he became the owner of his very own media company: VOX Media.

But his inflated ego got the better of him when, after a massive meltdown, died by having a tv from one of his late night sets fall on his head.

You'd think that after getting sent to hell, he would learn to show some humility….

.....clearly that didn't happen.

Not even death and hell could stop his hunger for power. Soon he changed and devolved to the point where he became the very airwaves that he hosted his shows on.

Everyone will hear his voice.

He is VOX. All the channels are VOX. The world that's on the small screens are nothing but VOX.

Unfortunately for him, he's not the only one with a thirst for attention and power……

"Are you sure this is a good idea, sir?" Looking at herself in the mirror, Vaggie took in her appearance. Thanks to what she was told was called an Asmodeus Crystal, her skin and hair had taken on a darker color that she kind of liked. Maybe if she asked nicely, they let her keep the crystal?

"Why wouldn't it be Maggie-"

"Vaggie."

"Isn't that what I said?"

Sighing, Vaggie shake her head. He really needed to work on remembering names better. They had more pressing issues than her name though. "We are demons here on Earth to host a party. How could this end anyway but badly?"

"We are two fallen angels and a Nephilim holding a ball just for some fun. All the Sins and hell-borns have been warned to be on their best behavior. Everything will be fine. Besides, look how excited Charlie is."

Turning to see her girlfriend, excitedly talking to some of the demons in disguise with them while helping with the decorating, Vaggie couldn't keep the smile off her face. Dammit. Using their shared weakness against her. 

"Okay. But if things go bad-"

"It's on my hands. I know. Don't worry. I'll take care of any trouble that may come our way."

"It's a ball not a party. It'll be fun! Besides, when do I ever get the chance to dress you up?"

Alastor adored Rosie; however, he could do without her constant need to make him socialize. Though, he had to admit she did good work. Dear Rosie, the sweet gal that is, kept his outfit in keeping with that he usually wore. The only difference was the nicer material and designs embordered on said material. Even an upgrade of his shoes of preference. He supposes he could humor her every now and then in her games of dress up.

Stopping him before he could stop down off the stool, Rosie replaced his beat up, old pair of glasses with a much nicer pair. "There. Wear those for at least tonight. You'll find they're quite special." 

"There you go with your cryptic words again. Do I get the pleasure of knowing what you mean by that, Rosie dear?"

"Not at all. Where's the fun in that? Now, take a look at yourself to appreciate my hard work. Thought, you do make it a little easier with that handsome face of yours."

"You can thank my mother for that fact." Taking in his appearance, Alastor was surprised at how... unrecognizable he looked. "You truly are magic. How do you do it?"

"Come now, Alastor. You know that's one of the things you never ask a lady."

Disventure Camp headcanons because I can

Ellie is insecure about her singing voice and didn't want to sing at all in the musical ep. Gabby and Tess both knew this so they gave the boys way more lines in Piggyback. She used messing with Jake as an excuse in the confessional so her real insecurities wouldn't be put on display.

Ellie started working even more hours after the show and took up whatever extra odd jobs and paid interviews she could to afford a bigger living space for her, Gabby, and all of Gabby's animals

Gabby was the least popular contestant from season 1 in-universe, and got harassed online for 'wasting' her idol for a while. Ellie and Tom both defend her constantly

Gabby started a youtube channel where she talks about proper animal husbandry. It's done well enough that she could make it her full-time job, and despite the hate she gets for DC no one has ever been able to correct her on animal care

Grett attempted to reach out to Gabby to apologize not long after their first season ended, but Gabby blocked her on everything after the show and never saw the messages

Sofia doesn't fully understand that Aiden's life was actually in danger in the dc2 finale and thought it was part of the show. Rosa hasn't told her the truth yet

Rosa is hosting a watch party with Kai, Maggy, and their other out-of-game friends for the All Star season

Aiden, Maggy, and Rosa all got signed copies of Lake's book directly from her before its official release

Lake dedicated her book to Kristal for helping to free her from her parents. To this day, Kristal refuses to admit she cried upon seeing it

Kristal picked Aiden for DC2 specifically to spite the old hosts

Marcus, Emily, and Oliver made bets on who they think will win the all star season. Marcus bet on Hunter, Emily bet on Alec, and Oliver bet on Lake.

Derek knew Trevor liked him before Trevor knew Trevor liked him. He hasn't said anything bc he doesn't want to lose his best friend

Part of the reason Jake was so quick to distrust James and Aiden was because Jaiden ended up being more popular than Jam, and he took that personally

Despite never reaching out, Tom always kept up with Jake and Miriam's social medias. He bought tickets to see them when Miriam had a health scare, but was too afraid to follow through

Tom and Gabby met up a few times between seasons 1 and 3. He even helped her unpack after she moved

Before the interviews released, Ellie and Tom were on good terms for Gabby's sake. She tried to reach out afterwards to explain why she did the interviews, but he blocked her

When Fiore's parents found out she had an abnormally high IQ, they thought she was possessed and tried to exorcise her more than once

One of the nuns at Fiore's Catholic school helped her sign up for the show. If she got the money, she wanted to be legally emancipated from her family

Fiore was banned from watching DC2 because of the 'homosexuals' and thus, didn't know anything about any of the DC2 contestants going in

Fiore managed to get her hands on Lake's book and respects her for escaping

Hi dude! Just found your account and man I was trying to find someone who enjoys elmwood trail just as me.....Just wanna ask a few things

1) why didn't Adam question Valeria? Like, even discreetly (Like, even after knowing she is the host???)

2)Am I the only one who doesn't suspect Lily? Like, sure, maybe she is a part of all of this. But, I have a feeling this is way beyond her, and she is just a pawn in a game somebody else is playing.

3) I don't trust Betty or Kyle. Like, they randomly just come around, offering help(which they did). But, why am I still very sketchy of them? Like, that are definitely involved.

4)Amanda actually annoys me 🙄🙄.(Like, half of the time I am screaming at the scream to ask him for divorce)She is making Adam going in circles, dodging his questions, when he genuinely care. Is she involved in all this?(I personally like to think that she is just trying to get back to her career. Cheating would be such a petty reason to build up this much suspense and tension).

5)Will Jim get involved in all this?(The broken photo might be foreshadowing something?)

Oh by the way, I loved Maggie this chapter . Such an ambitious, career driven, diva girl boss who actually called out Adam for all his sh*t. Mad respect for her🙌🙌

I'll try to answer your questions with my own opinions but I can't promise this will make much sense !

I'm not sure I can answer this one, I'm as confused as you ?? I can't remember if we ever talked to her but the only way to contact her would be thanks to Zoey's phone since the contact is saved on here. Maybe Adam is waiting for the right moment ? Not wanting to interact with a host ? I'm pretty sure we will eventually talk to her in ep 4 but for now, I'm not sure about Valery...

I totally agree actually, seeing she was investigating something with Zoey before her disappeance, I think she's pretty much clear at this point like of course Adam had his suspicions about her at first but I think she was just being careful and also just trying to find her bestie. The ending of ep 3 just feels like she exchanged bracelets and followed Brad and his friends as she suspects them (even tho I don't think it's them either)

Yea, they're still weird, like they changed their mind really quickly. It's kinda like they would know something (perhaps about what Brad "did" if we follow Lily's accusation) but don't want to tell it so they just play this game of "pretend" to distract Adam. Idk lol

I mean, yea ?? I can understand why she reacted this way for some things but I do think they're both responsible in some way to the problems of this relationship. They're both hiding things from each other (Amanda when she goes missing for awhile and Adam about his past) and they're just kinda bad at communicating tbh. Amanda wants Adam to be there and care for her while Adam wants the truth (and freedom to do his cases when he wants to ig), it doesn't seem to happen really often for the both of them. Also, I don't think there's cheating going on as she still cares and worries about Adam but after that career thing, I completely agree with you about that. Anyway this can go two ways : divorce or COMMUNICATION!!!!

Oh, he definitely has something going on, maybe unconsciously but I guess Max really has beef with him idk

Earns At-Large Berth to NCAA Championship

LOS ANGELES – The No. 4 California women's water polo team ambushed No. 2 USC with a dominant first half then held on during a defensive struggle after halftime for a pivotal 13-12 victory in the MPSF Tournament at UCLA's Spieker Aquatic Center.

The Golden Bears (19-5) raced out to a 5-1 lead midway through the first quarter and led 12-8 at halftime before holding off the Trojans (27-4) in a game that came down to the final possession. USC had not lost since January and saw their 19 game winning streak ended.

The Trojans scored the first goal of the game – which turned out to be their only lead. Cal sophomore center Feline Voordouw, who dominated the game's early moments, scored the equalizer on the next possession – the first of three goals in a row that gave her a hat trick less than three minutes into the game. She also had a field block, steal and earned exclusion during the run.

The Bears failed to score in the third quarter but played excellent defense themselves, allowing just a pair of goals to make it 12-10 heading into the fourth quarter. USC trimmed the advantage to 12-11 with 6:04 to play but Abbi Magee scored arguably the game's biggest goal on the 6-on-5 to push Cal's advantage back to two with 5:27 left.

Seniors Ruby Swadling and Elena Flynn and freshman Eszter Varro each added a pair of goals while redshirt freshman goalie Talia Fonseca made nine saves – including two point-blank stops in the fourth quarter to help Cal to hold on for the victory.

In the game against top-ranked and host UCLA, Sophomore Julia Bonaguidi tied a career-high with four goals and the Golden Bears had the ball and a chance to tie in the final seconds but ultimately fell 15-14.

Sophomore Feline Voordouw and freshman Miriam Bogachenko added three goals apiece.

The teams spent the first quarter exchanging goals before Cal established a 7-4 lead with just over three minutes left in the half. The Bruins responded by scoring five of the final six goals of the second period to lead 9-8 at the break.

UCLA carried the momentum over into the second half and led 13-10 with 1:20 remaining in the third quarter, but the Bears responded. Bogachenko scored with three seconds left in the period and Voordouw added another to cut the deficit to 13-12 with 5:35 to play. The Bruins still led 15-13 before Bonaguidi converted to trim the lead to a single goal with 56 seconds left. Cal forced a turnover on UCLA's ensuing possession and called a timeout with 26 seconds remaining but couldn't find the equalizer on its final possession and the Bruins held on.

Saturday marked the third time in the Bears' past five games that Bonaguidi has registered four goals. She's scored 15 goals during that span.

BERKELEY – The day after the MPSF Tournament ended, the team secured an at-large berth in the 2025 NCAA Championship and learned they will battle fourth-seeded Hawai'i in the tournament scheduled for May 9-11 at Indiana University.

Cal will be making its 11th all-time trip to the NCAA Championship, all since 2010. The Bears have missed the tournament just three times during that span. Cal was the national runner-up last season and defeated Hawai'i in the national semifinals.

The Bears are led by two-time All-American and 2025 All-MPSF First Team selection Ruby Swadling, who paces the team with 55 goals and ranks in the top 10 in the MPSF in steals and field blocks.

2024 u18 Women's Worlds Information

What: The biggest junior tournament for women's hockey, featuring the top players from 8 of the best IIHF countries

When: January 6th to January 14th

Full schedule available here (it will even convert to your time!) Since this takes place in Switzerland, most of these games will be early morning for North American's, but there's a few afternoon starts.

Where: Zug, Switzerland

Where to watch: The following will host at least some of the games. Sadly a lot are only showing games in their country and medal games (for example, in the round robin, TSN and NHL Network are only showing USA, Canada, and Slovakia.) 2023 Finish: 7th place

What to expect: Switzerland has had a rough few years in the tournament, having had to play to avoid relegation the last two years. If they can stay out of the relegation game

Players to watch: Ivana Wey had 4 assists last world juniors, and is currently playing on a beyond stacked SWHL B team where she's seen a lot of ice time and scored a lot of goals. 15 year old Norina Müller is one of the youngest forwards on the roster, and has seen some time in a SWHL A team this year, which is impressive experience especially at her age.

USA

2023 finish: 3rd place/Bronze

What to expect: USA was upset by Sweden in last years semifinals, and is hoping to make it back to the medal game and upset the favorites and their rivals in Canada

Players to watch: Captain Maggie Scannell is in this tournament for a third time and was one of the best players last year, with 8 points in 5 games. 17 year old Boston College commit Ava Thomas is one of the many excited prospects coming out of the Philadelphia Jr Flyers program in recent year. She has dominated in many national tournaments before with speed that she utilizes well, and is a must watch as she makes her intentional debut.

Sweden

2023 Finish: silver

What to expect: Last year, Sweden had a huge victory over the USA to make the finals only to experience a disappointing 10-0 finish. This year, they will want revenge and a gold medal, maintaining a lot of the same group.

Players to watch: Hilda Svensson was the top scorer on the team and she has only gotten better, as one of the top scorers on SDHL team HV71. Isabelle Leijonhielm is playing in this tournament for the third time, and has taken a pretty big step at the SDHL level this year despite being on a struggling team and has a knack for getting shots through traffic

Last year: 6th place finish

What to expect: Hope to continue to build on last year, but unlikely to move much in the standings, and show more depth

Players to watch: If you don't already know about Nela Lopusanova, you should look her up and instantly see what a sensation she is. Won best player of the tournament last year after scoring 9 goals and 3 assists in 5 games including a michigan goal, and has spent the past year at one of the best prep schools in north america. Her teammate, Ema Tothova, has also spend the past year getting better, and is one of the top scorers in the EWHL. The two will almost certainly be linemates and a must watch for this tournament

Canada

Last year: First/Gold

What to expect: Last year, Canada steamrolled everyone to victory, and much of the same roster is back and expecting to do it again. People have named this as one of the best u18 rosters we have seen.

Players to watch: Caitlin Kraemer had 10 goals last tournament, so eyes will be on her to repeat that great performance. Defender Chloe Primerano will be making her exciting u18 worlds debut after dominating the CSSHL U22 by having one of the best season ever recorded and becoming the highest scoring defender of all time in the league in just 45 games

Germany

Last year: Was in u18 Division I group A and was promoted!

What to expect: Germany will mainly be trying to avoid relegation and stay in the top division, a lot of the key player that helped with promotion have aged out sadly

Players to watch: Anastasia Gruß was one of the top scorers last tourament with 5 points in 5 games. Emilija Birka and Mathilda Heine will be two of the youngest playres at this tournament at only 14 year old, so it will be interesting to see how they impact the roster

Finland

Last year: Fourth Place

What to expect; This is a team that wants to medal, and has more depth than teams like Switzerland or Slovakia, but may not have the star power to fully compete for a medal. Sanni Vanhanen aging out is a huge loss, and don't have some of the elite goaltender prospects to make up for that like they have in the past. That said, it's still Finland, and there are many players poised to break out. Such as the following!

Players to watch: Emma Ekoluoma has been great both in the Finnish top League (naisten liiga) as well as in international competition this year. Nelly Anderson is a 16 year old defender who made major steps this year and was impactful as she played more games in Naisten Liiga, and I'd expect her to get some big minutes

Czechia

Last Year: Fifth Place

Expectations: Medal! There's a lot of reason to believe this group can take a big step this year as Czechia has reaped the rewards of investing in their women's program the past few seasons

Players to watch: Adéla Šapovalivová was the top scorer for Czechia last year, and this year she enters as one of the top scorers in the SDHL where she plays against many senior level players. Same for Tereza Plosová, a university of minnesota commit who has already been a consistent producer in the SDHL and played on the Czech senior team. Goaltender Daniela Nováková looked good in an extremely small sample size at last years tournament, so we will see if she can build on that

He understood the point of these events, understood why his older cousin hosted them, why his father dragged him along more often than not, even why his sisters were sometimes roped into it as well. He just didn't care enough to take it seriously. He'd go, shake a few hands, throw his name around and have his ass kissed, but he'd usually be quick to either leave or find other things to do. Grayson's father was a major stakeholder, had been ever since the company was run by uncle Gerald, and was the CEO of the company's most profitable subsidiary, so he carried some weight. But everyone knew Declan was the main event, the centre of attention. So it was easy enough to slip away for the most part.

Lately though, he'd been playing a little game, if you will. Having his fun at these parties for the past several months, and he expected tonight's soiree to be no different. Except... oddly, it was a little different. Or at least her husband seemed to be.

Usually, he'd find her somewhere on her own, near the bar nursing one alcoholic beverage or other, but not tonight, apparently. Tonight she was with her husband, the creep's arm around her middle as they spoke with a few other guests. So instead of going straight to her once the main introductions had been made, he ordered himself something to drink and then took it with him to position himself right in her line of sight. A subtle smirk on his lips, Grayson eyed her with a look of provocation, sipping his drink every once in a while, even taking up casual conversation with a girl who approached him a little while later.

it’s been a while, so i wanted to host a little event 🥰 i’ve been getting back into writing, and i love the holiday season so now is as good a time as ever to get back into the swing of things!!

Possibly the most out-of-character moment in all of GO2 to me is that Nina doesn't know Crowley.

GIF by @purplewillowchicken. (Sidenote: I love how Nina clocks Crowley's look here. I bet she's planning to tell her staff members or friends about this tall drink of aging rocker sexy ginger goth).

If it's true that "we both get plenty of use out of" the bookshop, then I can not imagine anything more likely than Aziraphale, happily reading while Crowley prowls around or plays games on his phone, looking up, fluttering his eyelashes, and asking Crowley to pop over the road to bring him some pastries. Crowley complains while immediately complying and gets an espresso for himself.

So why does it seem like they haven't been enjoying the many pleasures of Whickber Street like the pub, the cafe, the French restaurant, and the magic shop? Are they afraid to be seen out and about together?

Yet, during the 5/6 days that this season seems to last, they will go to lots of places, talk to lots of people, bickerflirt publicly, speak openly about the Gabriel issue, and host a party. And Nina will think she knows Crowley and his relationship with Aziraphale well enough to pop over the last morning and give him some dating advice.

I don't think I can call this a ✨ Clue ✨ -- if you want more clue-y clues, check out the work of the Ineffable Detective Agency. Calling this a clue seems too fancy for a bit of character analysis. But to me this is another indication that time is wrong this season. There are multiple timelines and characters' relationships with each other differ a bit in each timeline. Or we are missing big chunks of time where these relationships develop. Or there are two Crowleys, one who knows Nina and one who doesn't.

I did consider the "they're too busy using anything even approximating a flat surface in the bookshop to hang out on WS" theory and I think that's a possibility. But I still think Aziraphale would occasionally want to nibble something other than Crowley and Crowley would need caffeine to keep up with his insatiable angel.

I also considered that maybe Nina is too new to WS. But she doesn't seem that new since she already has a fairly intimate friendship with Mrs. Sandwich, who advises her not to check her texts from Lindsay/Lindsey; is close enough to Mr. Fell to tease him about the naked man; and knows Maggie by her coffee order, if not her name.

Because of who I am as a person, I took one look at Bake Off judge Aziraphale and celebrity baker Crowley and immediately got carried away. Showstopper

Rating: Explicit for eventual smut

Summary: When actor Anthony Crowley is invited to take part in a special celebrity edition of a certain British baking competition, he agrees immediately. It’s for a good cause, after all. It has nothing to do with his long-standing crush on one of the show’s judges, professional baker Aziraphale East.

Okay, fine. It has a little bit to do with Aziraphale. Every time they’ve crossed paths, Crowley has walked away more smitten than the last, but he can’t seem to seal the deal. With only two days in the tent, can he whip up something scrumptious enough to convince Aziraphale to take a chance on Crowley – and maybe even on love?

Excerpt from Chapter 1: Crowley was sure he had been sufficiently charming and interesting during the first round of interviews and while greeting the other celebrity bakers outside the tent this morning, but his practiced charisma nearly evaporated once they started the show in earnest. No stranger to the camera, he was surprised at how he had gone a bit numb when he’d walked through the tent and tied on his apron like he’d watched so many others do from the comfort of his sofa. It wasn’t until the hosts, Maggie and Nina, entered the tent, followed by Tracy and finally Aziraphale, that he felt his pulse start to race.

He had smiled and chuckled gamely at all the right moments while they introduced the Signature Challenge, but his mind was blank while he did his level best not to stare at the man. To be fair, it was the first time he had been in the same space as Aziraphale in months and he was wearing a tartan bow tie, for hell’s sake. Aziraphale’s scruff had grown out into a very fetching beard since last they’d met – short, neatly trimmed, and the same color as his stunning white-gold curls, it had made Crowley more than a little weak in the knees.

finished DC2 so here's a tier list for both DC2 and DC4. Unlike with DC1 there's nobody that I found super irritating. Before anyone asks I am doing okay mentally, I initially predicted Amelie as the first boot so I was prepared for her to leave as the second. Ted was more unexpected but considering they almost voted him off in EP 2 it made sense

DC2 Explanations:

Krystal: She got character development and all but the power went over her head super fast and I can't forgive some of the stuff she's done. The redemption didn't feel fully earned either what with her trying to demean Oliver to get him to work with her again and only actually apologizing after Connor exposed her. But otherwise she's an alright host

Nina: She's funny but her voice was grating to the point where I had to switch to the Spanish dub because of how much it was irritating me. Sorry to the VA, hopefully they improved her voice in DCAS which I will not be watching unless if Alessio returns to the game and wins DC4

Hunter: The Hunter/Tess/Ally polycule actively make each other worse. Tess and Ally's conversations revolve around Hunter most of the time and the interesting bits of Hunter's character (the stuff he used to bond with Tess and Ally initially) fly out the window in favor of the love triangle conflict. He became more interesting to watch after Ally got eliminated

Riya: Was rooting for her initially but she was doing way too much for pretty much nothing. She was already in a comfortable position in the final four from her alliance with James and Aidan, there was no need to destroy their relationship when the two were already planning on voting for Hunter before she did all of that. Could've waited until after the challenge or before the start of the finale

Karol: On one hand she was kind of robbed and it sucks that we could've have seem more of Karol's softer side through Aidan because of James, on another hand she kept antagonizing Aidan when he called out James for throwing her under the bus IN FRONT OF HER and also apologized to her when she came back. Going after James is understandable, but Aidan didn't do anything wrong the first time

Maggy: Want to like her but her personality is just that she's the shy one who gets bullied and is also Kai's girlfriend. Also the interactions with the girl's alliance at the beginning was boring but unlike Rosa Maria and Lake she didn't really have much of a chance to shine after that. Her cheerfully threatening to give Yul a second black eye during the finale was funny though

Yul: He sucks but he was meant to suck so it works, also his greetings are usually pretty funny and more enjoyable than the average greeting

DC4 Explanations:

Lynda: She's pretty funny even if she does plays the game as if she ran out of diamonds in an Episode story and isn't good at any of the challenges. Girl was in the perfect situation at a swing vote and fumbled it horrendously. Also in regards to that one scene in S4 EP 4 she's seems more ignorant than homophobic, even if she did apologize to save herself she at least apologized

Jade: Her character right now is just being the strategic one. There's snippets here and there that show more of her real personality (love for marine biology, getting anxious when doing timed math which is kind of a mood, getting visibly angry at Benji for messing up her plans to get Diego off Spencer's back, being uncomfortable talking about her vitiligo due to the struggles she had because of it) but they're just snippets. We need more

Spencer: Actively makes Diego worse (Diego was initially in Mixed Feelings before EP 4) and his personality is insufferable. He's not really fun to watch, and it sucks because I was actually looking forward to him when I saw his audition tape. Yeah the scheming's cool but I don't like him as either a person or as a contestant

Ivy: Her personality felt superficial and her conversation with Benji only confirmed what I already knew, that entire situation felt condescending. Bro just wanted to get an answer for why he wasn't included in the alliance and she goes "you just gotta find your peeps" as if 2/3 of the entire group weren't already in an alliance that was excluding him and "you voted for Spencer which doesn't help," which was because HE WASN'T TOLD ABOUT THE VOTE. Rooting for her downfall alongside 5/8 of the remaining Red Team member because I hate that six-person alliance. Blue Team FTW

Also my favorite pairings so far are Gabellie and Jaidan. Zaivy has potential to be interesting considering their drastically different backgrounds but we'll have to wait and see. I'm neutral on Anarissa, Huntessally and Tomjake and I dislike Spenciego (forced + Spencer doesn't seem to like him) and Wishley (too one-sided, Ashley may help Will overcome his fears but Will does not do anything for Ashley)

Edit: Apparently Connor/Riya was also a thing? Did not know that lmao, neutral to them too because I didn't catch onto it the first time
