˖⁺‧₊˚ Okay before I begin with your reading I heard word "sky" - might be related to freedom in some way . It could be possible that you or someonelse restricted your freedom to move ahead in life or might be feeling so stuck currently but you don't need to because you need to remember that control is in your hand only if your realise. So , here you are being called up for own power healing . For some of you I see healing from an emotional loss of someone or something close to you. For some of you it is about some sort of disappointment that you are holding on now even . You might be among those who don't show their emotions or express similarly you hide yourself from people but you don't need to ,okay ? The healing you need to do is not dependent or needs someone else rather you or we can say your inner wisdom needs to be used to enlighten yourself also you are being told not to become hopeless because you lost something precious because in our life we are blessed to have many things that needs our attention and care as they are precious too so see high commando !

˖⁺‧₊˚ Hey people are you Into monster movies or horror movies even sci- fic ? I felt so while I was doing your reading. Don't consume a lot of negative content because it's not for our mental health okay ? At same time don't be grumpy most of the time just take a chill pill. Now If we talk about what kind of healing you need to do is regarding your work or skill development . I sense that you might not be using your potential properly in things or it could be that you are utilising your skills in the right manner or right things because of which you are lacking behind and that's what keeping your frustrated and stuck . I'm sensing that you need to travel and go outside rather than Staying at one place because this promote your healing and bring your some good luck and wait I heard word "golden" too soo travel is gonna be a gem for you . There's a year end wrap up going around Twitter so I figured I'd do here since I'm more active on this site. Not quite a year's worth of drawing since I started scribbling again around June after a forced break of few years. The journey back into art has been nothing short of amazing thanks to the X-Men and Cherik fandoms. It's been wonderful to see everyone inspiring each other. Thanks for following along on my learning journey. :) Here's to more fun, learning, and goofy scribbles in the coming year. Happy New Year and all the best to you and your loved ones, my friends. 😘
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First sketch of the year: Some of the first sketches that I did in a very long time and boy was I rusty. First one was inspired by a story prompt by dear friend @mkpersephone 😘
Tumblr media
Most fun: Sketches inspired by Snap and his inbox. XD Pretty sure y'all are familiar with Snap by now. Absolute gem of a person, can't say enough about how awesome he is. 😊
Tumblr media
The one I'm most proud of and the most difficult: I technically haven't posted the final version yet because it's part of a story that I still need to finish. This was my first dive into background/enviro art after being inspired by one of Philip Sue's process videos. There are at least 5 versions of the background which have been patched together above and I'm pretty sure I'll have another version by the time I actually post the final. I wanted to end the story on something hopeful but life events both good and bad have forced me to put this on the back burner. Apologies to the friends who have been waiting for the continuation. 😅 That said, there is one very good reason why I've been distracted and I can't wait for you all to see. :)
EDIT Update: The good distraction reveal. 😁

Silm reread 20: the Rains of Casaremírë (AKA: the Fall of Doriath)
Morgoth is not tired being evil. Or satisfied. Generally he won't chill out. Also, he hates Melian&Thingol especially (but this text is from the Grey Annals. the Annals of Aman put Turgon as "Morgoth's main problem"). So, he directs Húrin at them.
Hurin is suspicious of being freed (good thinking!), but what can he do? Nothing. He leaves. Also, he is let out with a sword, which is… making sure that nobody will trust him and everyone will assume he is a thrall. Also, Morgoth's minions respect him.
[Ugh, this must have been really weird for Húrin. The self-doubt. Am I a thrall unknowingly?]
He is not, but he is followed. So, Gondolin. Turgon is doubtful at Thorondor. He changes his mind but too late, Húrin leaves. Oh, and he curses this area. (Yes, I will bold each time someone curses)
Morwen dies, depression and despair, he blames everyone.
A reference to a "seer and harper from Brethil". So, Men do have seers. I mean, I knew they do because Adanel iirc… but this wasn't fully canon… also that one prophecy is stupid and I will keep complaining about it…
Also, a mention of "the days of the wrath of the Valar" reshaping the shores, so the War of Wrath was named after the Valar's wrath? Who weren't even there personally? Huh.
Húrin kills Mîm, at the gate of Nargothrond. Interesting. Also, it is said that it's public knowledge who betrayed Túrin, so — oh wait. No. He knows that from Morgoth, not from gossip. OK. So I still have no idea whether Túrin knew.
Thingollo is polite and respectful, but Húrin offends him and accuses him of causing Finrod's death (he's not completely wrong) and of mistreating his wife and daughter + throws at him the Casaremírë (Nauglamir).
Thingollo is still polite and takes the offense calmly and kindly. <3
Melian dispells Morgoth's magic on Húrin, and he apologizes.
And gives the necklace to Thingollo anyway. Which ends up being a bad idea. Also, it wasn't his to give. the dragon stole it from Orodreth, Mîm stole it again, and Húrin, whose son had owed money to Mîm (because of his promise of weregild. And yes, I think this makes it … not more evil as a choice, because Húrin did not know, but more impactful, more problematic metaphysically) killed Mîm and stole it again.
And Thingollo (who knew Finrod and tbh should feel a little guilty about his death) instead of starting to think "hmm, who should inherit after Finrod now?" takes it. Which may be a culture thing tbh. It is medieval-ish-something world. You don't disrespect gifts by giving them away, you just take them. Maybe. I'm not an expert.
Still, he could have at least talked to Húrin about "you know, Finrod's family…". BTW is there any left? Orodreth dead, Finduilas dead…. Gil-Galad if he is Orodreth's son. Galadriel! OK, so there was someone.
Húrin allegedly maybe threw himself in the sea. Anyway he is out of our scope, one way or another.
So… It comes into Thingollo's mind to join two problematic pieces of treasure (a dragon-tainted, stolen necklace and a Silmaril) into one. Also, the Silmaril grows precious to him—
OK, sidenote. The Silmarils are not evil, but clearly they are too much for almost everyone. People either grow obsessed or die quickly. But not all people. Earendil surely didn't. I guess it depends on personality (the obsession) and on fate-type (the dying).
So, he can not keep it in the deepest part of his treasury anymore— wait, what? You kept the gem in a cage too? Silmarils need proper enviroment, they need light and space and enrichment! Thingollo, you are as bad as a Silmaril owner as Feanáro!
OK, I already made a post on this.
The Dwarves. They too get super obsessed and want the stuff: both the necklace made by their ancestors and the Silmaril. But they keep it in secret.
They finish their work, it's beautiful, another sort-of-confirmation that the Silmaril's own light is white (it reflecting in gems into various colors make it even more beautiful. So. It doesn't have many colors on its own.)
The Dwarves finally talk to Thingol, but not honestly, he realizes that they want the gem, gets overwhelmed by emotions (I imagine Thingol having a switch in his brain: "be polite to Men" <-> "be polite to Dwarves" but he can't do both for some reason and switching it takes a long time) and he mocks them. He provokes them, they are greedy, everyone is emotionally disregulated and should go have some quiet time, they kill him and escape with the treasure.
We get an epitaph for Thingollo, canon confirmation that marrying Maiar is not a thing (except Thingol) and the last thing he looks at before death is the Silmaril.
I have a feeling that Námo will have some words to tell you, my guy. Not as many as to others, but still. Not great.
Anyway, Elves chase the Dwarves and kill most of them, the Dwarves tell a not-entirely-false-but-not-too-true-either story of what happenned to their kinsmen, they go to war.
Melian meditates, we get a flashback. She knows Doriath will soon fall, because the Girdle is now gone, because… ok, let's start this from the beginning.
So this is really cool but also pretty unique in terms of fantasy tropes. When Melian married Thingol, she accepted... ok, I need this in English.
For Melian was of the divine race of the Valar, [...] for love of Elwë Singollo she took upon herself the form of the Elder Children of Ilúvatar, and in that union she became bound by the chain and trammels of the flesh of Arda.
So the marriage is what's tying her to her material form (she had taken it at will back then but now, with Valinor being closed and all that I feeel like she normaly wouldn't be able to do it in ME, she was only able to be there embodied because the marriage to Thingol sort of anchored her)
In that form she bore to him Lúthien Tinúviel; and in that form she gained a power over the substance of Arda, and by the Girdle of Melian was Doriath defended through long ages from the evils without. But now Thingol lay dead, and his spirit had passed to the halls of Mandos; and with his death a change came also upon Melian.
So. Only the fact of being anchored to matter gave her the ability to keep the Girdle up. I know some Maiar can do things with matter anyway, but as I said, I suppose it's either a) because they're evil and/or b) because a Vala let them do it … in general, they are bound by something. And regardless of how the other Maiar do it, Melian lost the ability to keep the Girdle.
Thus it came to pass that her power was withdrawn in that time from the forests of Neldoreth and Region, and Esgalduin the enchanted river spoke with a different voice, and Doriath lay open to its enemies.
[Thank you, Reddit, for having all the quotes I need!]
Again, the "it came to pass" strongly suggests to me that it's not something she did, it's something that happenned to her as part of her nature.
Also, she removes herself, and goes to mourn in Lorien and is out of the story. (I'm sure they get back togetherwhen Thingol was reembodied — and that he was— and no matter how the canon feels about this I want them to have more children, who just live in Valinor in this slightly odd social position of "not a Maia but not fully not-a-Maia" and genrally have some happiness and low-stakes family drama)
The Dwarves invade, all Doriath is confused, Mablung dies protecting the Silmaril (still, he seems quite normal about it for someone who touched it twice).
Also "it's the saddest of all sad events of the Old Days" — seriously, Grey Annals? Again, for AoA it would be Tears Unnumbered. I should enjoy the diversity of opinions in the text. But I don't. It sounds like the authors are arguing with each other.
Dior and Nimloth mentioned, but that's all. On one hand, we were told that B&L never spoke to the living after their reembodiment. On the other, they do have a son and, it seems, a company. Who raised Dior? Like, who spoke with him?
Is it silent spooky B&L surrounded by a company of Elves who behave normally? Or do they live separately, in a distance and gave dior to be taught bu the Elves who live on this island, but separately from them? I can't imagine it.
Or is the "spoke to no one" thing just poetic exageration?
Hmm.. in chapter 20 only Beren is mentioned and it says "no mortal spoke to him" which may mean just Men. I'm not sure. Anyway this is weird and seems somwhat incoherent.
Anyway, the news spread quickly in the forest (how? Mycoryzal networks?) so Beren learns more or less what happenned and he and Dior go to the rescue (such is the wording in my book. So I guess they assumed there Dwarves were still attacking someone or intending to. Makes sense.) A big group of Green Elves joins them.
They ambush the Dwarves (Huh. Ambush. When Nargothrond did it, it was dishonorable... Huh. I think there is a lot in this story remaining from the older versions, back when the Dwarves were evil, or at least evil-ish and not deserving the full human Eruhini rights. Because technically they are not. Anyway. I do not like the inconsistent attitude about ambushes.) Also, the Ents help them. So i guess it is a good fight or at least Yavanna supports it (could you, please, respect your husband's children a bit more?), or at least the trees think Beren is cool.
This is weird. And seems off. And I will assume it is a part of text that Tolkien didn't fully update to the last version of his lore.
Beren killd Dwarf king (chieftain? whatever we call him), the king curses the whole Doriath treasure.
Aaaaand Beren looks at Feanor's gem with fascination. Here we go again. And washes it clean of blood in the river. (I considered adding a RoP gif here but let's not slabder Beren. still, bad vibe.)
At least he's got enough common sense to drown the rest of the treasure. But not this one. (A pity. Feanorians would fish it out, Deagol&Smeagol-style and be happy. Or something.)
He brings the Casaremírë+Silmaril to Lúthien, and she's so pretty in it. And amazing. And the land is fertile and full of light and looks like Valinor.
So…. why do they keep the Silmaril? For Beren, I think it's the standard "it's pretty, Luthien has suffered so much [chose mortal life and all that], she deserves it". Or maybe even "I deserve some beauty for all my pain", but i don't think he goes this low. It's just … slightly less than perfect attitude. "My loved ones deserve some beauty after all they suffered so I am going to give it to them". Also, why would he want to give it to Feanorians, who tried to kill him and threatened Thingol. (And fought a really bad battle but whatever)
No matter how much you love the Feanorians, please remember that this is a simple forest guy, ok, taught by the Sindar, but still. He probably knows nothing about the Oath, never met the Feanorians, has no idea of their mental state and their anguish, and not necessarily internalizes the whole "they are fighting Morgoth and dying on it" part.
Characters do have limited knowledge and did not read the book.
But… yes, I think him taking the jewel was not the best choice.
Lúthien? That's trickier. I think if she knew how much it means for the Feanorians, she would give it to them, because look how she told Beren to not kill Celegorm (or was that Curufin?). So either she knows that Silmaril+Feanorians = bad idea, for some reason (from Melian. Because foresight. But this would require Melian's foresight to change its opinion on the matter at some point, which we have no information about).
Maybe she just trusted that Beren knows what he's doing and didn't want to refuse his gift? And she had no idea how this looks for the Feanorians (remember, very likely nobody knows about the Oath, and it seems like the Feanorians told Thingol "it is ours" and "we will consider you our enemy" as their only reasons).
Melian advised Thingol to give the Silmaril back, but was Lúthien even present at this conversation? Or if she was, maybe her own foresight told her that this advice applied to Thingol then but not to her now?
Seriously, with how Lúthien is presented, I can't imagine her keeping the Silmaril if she believed that that Melian would advise against it or how much it means for the Feanorians. She seems to me a very compassionate person, and one who cares about her mothers opinions.
On the other hand, is Lúthien wearing the Silmaril such a bad thing? It came from Beren's not-great decision, but with how it's written, I don't think it's unilaterally bad. The Feanorians do not have a problem with it, or at least do not attack her (out of fear), the land is beautiful and sure this sounds egoistical, but maybe a brief moment of bliss was necessary? The Silmaril spent many years with Morgoth, then in Thingollo's treasury (why do they all keep them locked?!? i have thoughts about it. anyway) and is now sad. Yes, they do canonically have feelings. I don't think it's corrupted, but it is sad. Maybe it needs to recharge, before it will be able to become the star of hope.
I have no idea but I think like this year should contribute something positive. Otherwise the story feels odd and incoherent again. Or, at beast, feels like Tolkien … I'm not sure how to phrase it. Very slightly betrayed his story for a moment of nostalgia? The thing that the Valar did when they made Valinor. Settled for a known happiness of the past over … something? unknown?
OK, end of very speculatory ramblings, back to the reading.
And this is the moment when Dior decides to leave his parents. I think he wants to help the Elves in Doriath organize and rebuild. He is their king, after all. Still it's an interesting contrast: the island becomes a paradise and Dior leaves. I think it speaks well of him. He goes to work, putting duty above "mom pretty with shiny rock". And he restores Doriath successfully.
He gets the Silmaril, looks at it for a long time (unclear if this is bad looking or normal looking), mourns his parents, then puts on the necklace and becomes the most beautiful guy ever, even counting the Maiar. (dear authors of the Grey Annals, someone would lik a talk with you. He said his name is Mairon.)
Gossip starts… How is the gossip among Elves so effective and fast, with their numbers decreased by all the wars?
Anyway gossip, and the Feanorians. (+ a confirmation that no Elf would fight Lúthien). They send messangers to Dior, who does not answer. that's weird. What is his mental process at this point? Is Dior even socialized properly?
He could say "ok, but give me some time to mourn", or "no, you jerks, you attacked my parents and now dare to make demands" or many other things, but he does not answer. (Or is it: the Polish translation strikes again)
It must have been weird. Also: poor messangers. What a stressful job. :(
Instead of thinking "maybe we should wait till he grows up more" or "maybe we should talk to him in person", C&C get the bright idea of "let's kill them all as we told Thingollo we would do!"
And so they do.
And so they die.
Both sides lose (Doriath is destroyed with only a few survivors, but the Feanorians still have zero Silmarils, but now they have 3 dead brothers), so I guess Morgoth wins, but not really, because he doesn't get this Silmaril either and this will come to bite him later.

You know, by far one of my favorite concepts in Steven Universe are the force fused gems. It's just so profoudly messed up as sad, I love it ! (You can call me a psychopath, I don't mind), just thinking that these, essencialy, artificial gems are fragments of other gems, loose bits of a consciousness, forced together is just so gruesome and messed up. The way the tinnier specimense just move around like little spiders, sensing their enviroment is so sad, they basically are being striped away from all their senses, sight, hearing and all, with touch being their only way of sensing stuff.
Although... I'm kind of bumped out the writters just used them as some random enemies the cast has to fight... Why did these barely conscious and sensible beings felt the urge to attack ?
It worked for corrupted gems, 'cause they're corrupt, they don't understand what they're doing, yady yada... But forced fused gems ? Why ? The cluster wasn't hostil, just dangerous, why didn't they do the same with other forced fused gems ? I mean, they could have been dangerous because they're trying to sense their environment, some of them are very massive and would DEFINETLY be harmfull if they just move a little abruptly. They're aren't fully conscious so I highly doubt they actually have the brains to think of attacking specific beings, plus I think they're already quite bussy , you now, suffering in this barely sensibe body, to even think of any sort of strategy.
It's kind of sad, because I really don't think they should be considered as enemies, they're one of the many victimes of the gem war, prisoners tortured forever in a falty body, I'm not against poofing them of course, it's a good thing actually ! But they should be considered as victimes, not enemies, they shouldn't willingly try to harm others, just be the cause of accidents during their struggles.
Anyway, I'm going to sleep...

Sybilla's Backstory I guess
Let's just jump into this mess, shall we?
So, back in the early stages of the Sonarian lands (basically Legacy era), there existed a group of slightly powerful creatures. The leader of the group was Nukzeh, the Hellion Warden. Nukzeh was accompanied by Eirene the Sar'Hingaro, Sybilla the other Sar'Hingaro and Eirene's twin, and Lafayette the Valkyrie. As time got by, a few more creatures joined the crew, such as Alexander the other Valkyrie, Delta the Aolenus, and Aeliana the Jotunhel. The group had 7 members in total, most of them fliers with the exception of Nukzeh.
The group of creatures were killing everything that could have been a threat, and everything that Nukzeh told them to take out. The 6 other creatures were basically his servants, bringing food from whenever without a care for others.
The pack resided in the past Desert-Oasis most of the time, but if they needed food, Nukzeh would've sent them to fetch it.
Tumblr media
In my theory, the past (Legacy era) Sonarian lands ended with a volcanic eruption that nobody survived. And the Wardens re-built it.
Nukzeh had fallen. (No age mentioned)
Sybilla died at the age of 40-ish, give or take a few years.
Eirene died at the age of 40-ish, give or take a few years.
Lafayette died at the age of 30.
Delta died at the age of 39.
Alexander died at the age of 29.
Aeliana died at the age of 20.
The creatures were reborn in different enviroments, most of them being reborn in the new Sonarian Lands (Recode era!!).
(Sybilla's Time in the Devil May Cry Universe I think lol)
Meanwhile Sybilla was found in Fortuna (DMC4) first at the age of 10. So yeah, she was taken in by an orphanage there for the time being. Sybilla was dead/in a limbo state for almost 10 years, so she wasn't that used to using her Sar'Hingaro (Now Ahri'Tahmuk) abilities anymore. Her death has temporarily made her take on a human form, though with great regenerating abilities and strength.
Sybilla has also found her Soul Necklace, which was a thin silver chain with two small gems, a red one and a blue one. She is made out of two souls: Revi'Vindicta (Revived-Vengeance), which is kind of the anger from being a slave in the past for Nukzeh. And Quies'Anima (Rest-Soul), which is the tranquillity and freedom from the present, since she is momentarily free from Nukzeh and free to explore.
Being the curious creature she is and her being in an entirely new place, Sybilla followed people around often, especially Nero and Kyrie as she was involuntarily using her healing abilities to heal them whenever was nessecary. That caused her to join the Order of the Sword, as a healer.
At this point, Sybilla has re-learned how to use her Sar'Hingaro (Ahri'Tahmuk) and her Valkyrie (Healing Hunter) form, though there was a third one that she didn't remember that well (she never used it). She used her healing ability to heal others around her (and to move around quickly with flight). She moved around the castle just fine, mainly staying on the balconies as she hid in plain sight.
Though after the fight with Sanctus (as she was with Nero, healing him during battle), she went missing from Fortuna all-together...
To be continued soon I guess :]

Inferno, one of the existential planes one world, in this plane all the darkness is focused there after the bosses being defeated, and to fight this darkness were born demons, born from the blood fountains. after a series of events they were cursed to be stuck in inferno to fight the danmed souls of darkness, in the process for them to reach freedom in the material planes they must cross each one of rings tough enviroments, passing the demon lords tests and then they are released to the material plane, starting with Dante's library where the king of inferno himself is sealed surrounded by the books containing each demon memories, everytime that a demon dies and returns to hell they must give their memory book to Dante.
The bloody fountains are the place where all the demons are born by a simple method, combining the dark blood of the fountain with Holy blood of an massive angel carcass in the center of the fountain, in result demons are born as an amalgamation of the evil and the Holy.
The lust ring is a wide desert with the wildest cutting winds and tornados, with flying shadows ready to torn the flesh of the demons who wonders around with the objective to find Asmodeu's cabaret, where occur luxurious events in order to demons socialize between them socially, emotionally and mostly sexually, after gathering a demon group for the travel, the group rides a Zeppelin to the next ring.
The sloth ring is a tundra of eternal winter surrounded by spiky mountains and frozen lakes where the key for survival is to be in constant movement because if a demon stop for a moment not just their body will froze but also will be mauled by packs of shadow predators, after surviving the shenanigans they can go to Belphegor's hospital where demons can be healed by the medical services and the hotsprings, they can also receive special treatments like prosthetics or study material, later the demons can take the elevator.
The wrath ring is a valley covered in flames, where the demons must climb an entire tower while avoiding the shadows trying to pull you down, when they reach the top they find themselves in Satan's dojo where demons train and practices many kinds of martial arts and combat styles, when your training is finished the demons must climb an entire ladder again while defending themselves from the flying shadows to the next ring.
The greed ring is a valley of round mountains and hills where golden rocks are rolling, falling and being throw by stone giants, demons can or run as fast as they can to avoid being crushed or going inside the mountains to mine precious gems and metals, after reaching the top of the highest Mountain the demons can acess the gates to Mammon's vault where by a certain price they can get itens and equipments, they can even receive advices from Mammon and making a contract with him to be able to get great fortunes, after that the demons are launched by a cannon to the next ring.
The envy ring is a compact ocean where resides Leviathan's underwater castle which is a giant labyrinth where the demons must find Leviathan while maintaining the trust in the group while keeping the mind sane because of the shapeshifting shadows who not just can blend in the group but can also feed the paranoia throught telephaty, finally after finding Leviathan and escaping the castle everyone gather in the beach island above the castle where the demon group can relax at the beach to later Leviathan extends her neck helping them to reach the next ring.
The gluttony ring is a smelly and foggy swamp where the demons must avoid sink in the mud for not be devoured by the hungry shadows that swims at the swamp while avoiding the poisonous fog so they must climb as high as possible to reach the Belzebu's hive restaurant where the group can join her at the great feast where they can eat, drink and indulge themselves as much as they can until they all pass out, after waking up the group climbs the poles to the final ring.
The pride ring is just an enormous stage with a throne in the center, in that throne lies Lucifer who will judge you by a series of tests such as fighting lucifer themself, fighting shadow bosses that they summom, or even just making a dance performance, if they enjoy the result they will let the demon group pass to finally summon the celestial elevator which the demon Laplace will guide the group to a ride to be freed to the material plane.

im a bit of a complainy mood. I've already aired multiple grievances to friends but kinda wanted to consolidate my thoughts
Natlan is still disappointing. I had a feeling i wouldn't like it from the teasers and I'm still not really into it spoilers for the natlan archon quest and various things abt the nation below the cut
I will preface this by saying I really enjoyed the archon story in and of itself. It was pretty solid, my main gripe being that there is ZERO buildup to the capitano fight and I think even a little would've been better cause its an AWESOME fight, but literally just some fatui run into the arena and are like grrr we're gonna fight you, cutscene, then capitano runs off and we don't see him again for the rest of the quest. Traveler isn't even there to see it.
But everything else just. Not it chief.
Most of the other nations, you look at them and you go 'yeah that looks like the nation of x element' Liyue has big huge mountains and weird landforms, Inazuma's got storms and a variety of just, zappy stuff in the elements. heck its even got electro seelies. Sumeru's got a rainforest. Its also got the desert tbf but it's interesting for lore and story and added conflict between the people of the rainforest and the desert. Fontaine is far from my favorite nation but I look at it and go 'yeah, this looks like the nation of hydro'
the exception being Mondstadt, which, aside from the windmills, doesn't really have a strong sense of 'this is the nation of anemo' but I'm willing to give it a pass since its the starter nation. Natlan I'm not, cause we've seen how good the enviroment design can be. and its not bad
it just doesn't feel like pyro. There's a few places, like you can go underground and find some lava. There's a big volcano on the horizon but. Otherwise it doesn't feel like it's got a lot to do with fire at all. It kinda feels in a lot of places just like an expansion to the sumeru desert.
Another thing is with the tribes. These do not feel like tribes of pyro. They are all of different elements. There is the little water tribe with their hot springs and the little earth tribe with their gems and the dendro tribe up in the trees. We already got whole nations dedicated to these elements. Why does the Pyro nation have to revisit them in miniature versions?
It feels like it's lacking identity.
And I think that comes from Hoyo deciding it wanted to have a 'tribal' nation and deciding to pick and chose from cultures across the world, rather than just one area. Mondstadt is based on Germany, Liyue- China, Inzauma- China, Sumeru I believe is intended to be Middle Eastern? So, not a specific country but still an area that is connected at least by proximity.
Natlan is?? Supposed to be from what? Australia, South America, and Africa? I haven't done any research on this but I think that's right. and I think that was a bad idea. These cultures are all separated by huge distances, topography, environments, ect ect. I think the developers should have picked one and just stuck to it. I originally thought it was going to JUST be South American based cultures since some of those had a big focus on sun worship and yknow, sun imagery for the pryo nation made sense? Also like, Tierra del Fuego??
yeah.
Another gripe is the character designs. One, the characters don't really look like they're coheisve and from the same nation. Again the tribes dividing and yeah that makes sense but I think it was a bad choice. If you put all the Fontaine characters together, they'd look like they belonged together. Group all the desert characters from Sumeru and all the rainforest charactesr and you can tell they're each from their respective areas for the most part.
Chasca and Kinich don't look like they come from the same country. Or Iansan and Kachina. I don't think this was a good choice.
ANother thing, though I admit this one's a little more nitpicky, is the apparent use of like, more modern tech in Natlan?
Like we already had fontaine that was supposed to be the most advanced because of the indemntium or whatever it was called, produced by the oratrice thingy. Why then does Kinich look like he came out of a mario brother game and Maiuvika look like she's part of a biker gang? I know you can excuse some things being that 'well visions give you extra powers and stuff and you don't necesarily need tech!"
but it doesn't fit. This hodgepodge 'tribal asethetic' was already bad enough, not trying to ground itself, but this is a fantasy game and even the fontaine and khaenri'anh technology looks fairly fantastic and not super immersion breaking. Why in the leaks does Xiolen have like a dj-disco board?? ofc its a leak so it might not be real, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised!
And that brings me to the gameplay of natlan characters. Imagine if you will, if Wanderer could only fly in Sumeru. or if Yelan could only do her super cool running thing in Liyue or if Zhongli only summoned a pillar in Liyue. If Furina could only walk on water in Fontaine. It'd suck right? Where's the fun in that? Ok. then why are Natlan characters nerfed outside of Natlan? Oh there's the canon explination of the phogostin or whatever. But the devs had to add that in specifically. They didn't have to do that. Why shouldn't Mualani be able to swim on her funny shark as long in Sumeru as she can in Natlan? Why cant Kinich have two swings in Mondstadt aND Natlan? Why did these charactesr get nerfed so hard that you can only use them in one place? The saurians make them redundant anyway. but you can only use saurians in Natlan, why not let people use the characters they pulled for. outside of natlan. I especially feel like this will suck for newer players who are just starting. Imagine you're still in inazuma or liqyue and you get this cool new character, but you can only effectily use them in one place, while the entire rest of the world you still have to explore, they just aren't as good?
I don't know, but I don't like it. It just feels like. nerfing the fun. You're only allowed to have fun with these characters in a certain place.
Tbh i don't really like the idea of the phologistim (i can't be bothered to look it up so it's gonna be spelled wrong every time), Fontaine had the pnuema and ousia specific only to the nation's characters and while I didn't really like it a lot, it didn't impact the gameplay a ton. You can still use Nuevilette just fine yknow. But I don't like the nation specific gimmicks a ton and it just started with fontaine and got worse with natlan. I hope it goes away and isn't applicable in the next nations.
also. again this is a nitpick but in general just kinda disappointed with the saurians. what little we knew made it sound like they were equal to humans, but mostly they just seem to be slightly more intelligent animals and not all that. important? I haven't played through all the world quests, so its more just my first impression. im pretty sure Kachina says they're more than pets and they're actual companions, but aside from Ajaw we don't actually SEE that much companionship going on aside from the saurians just kinda hanging out and standing next to people.
Idk we're still in the early parts of the nation so stuff might improve later on and ofc this is all just, my own impressions and opinions. If you love natlan and are enjoying it then I am genuinely happy! I'm glad you're having fun. Why are you reading this. Don't listen to me. Go play the game and enjoy it.

Hello friends and gays its time for LORE NO ONE ASKED FOR :D
today in LNOAF i'll introduce my lineup for gods and different races!
Plus a "read more' for those who hate long posts. Enjoy!
Its not necessarily seen as morally incorrect (in a social sense) to follow a particular god and do things based in your faith, but it depends on what the actions are. Teachings can be heavily misinterpreted and are meant to be taken with a grain of salt.
Serene "Seen" (Life/Change)
Seen teaches about growth, and how to cherish the life around you while treating others with grace and kindness.
Balgaroth "Bags" (Corruption/Temptation)
Bags teaches about giving into your cravings, because you may need them, while not being tempted to fall completely into greed and consumption.
Setuna "Sets" (Control/Sanity)
Sets teaches about how controlling yourself or others can ruin one's mind and turn your life into agony, but also that a stable balance is part of the natural world.
Phyite "Phi" (Chaos/Creativity)
Phi teaches about how giving into complacency can ruin you, and how letting loose is healthy for the mind and soul.
Ethias "Eons" (Order/Sacrifice)
Eons teaches about how organization can benefit those who give in completely to ideals of selflessness, while also recognizing that the most selfless people are those who listen to the world around them.
Eygrit "Egg" (Luck/Trial)
Egg teaches that luck is deserved, and karma is real to those who choose to believe in it. Egg also teaches that helping others will boost said karma.
Katathias "Kias" (War/Destruction)
Kias teaches the story of a phoenix. In order for new life to grow, what once was broken must burn to ash.
Agine "Again" (Worth/Love)
Again teaches about how unconditional love says nothing about your worth, but about who you are as a person and the actions that got you there.
--
RACES
Hybrids
Half animal, half person. Often can shift into their chosen animal, but never into something without their chosen animal's features.
Shards
Rock people. Primarily live underground, and are made of many types of rocks and gems.
Sharks
Semi-aquatic amphibians. Typically, they don't like technology or magic. Their skin has anti-magic properties. They divide and conquer. Ears optional.
Demons
The Demonic Kingdom is the biggest monarchy in the plane. Horns, tails, fun skin colors, and wings. And don't forget the dark magic!
Angels
Snooty winged things. Love gold jewelry and showing off. Reserved from the rest of the world, and claim to be the origins of light magic. They attempt to study the teachings of Crai.
Sourcerers
Innate or attained magic users. They have two classes, soulborn and scholars. A sourcerer can use one or more magic classes, but typically only one.
The Lost
Originating on the Island of the Lost, these corrupted plantpeople try their best to be peaceful. Unfortunately, they're also carnivores. They follow the teachings of their god, Balgs.
Spirits
Dead people. Typically need a host to speak through or possess, but this varies on the level of power and strength they held when they were alive.
Parasites
A man-made monster of a race, doomed to one day conquer and destroy the universe as we know it. They populate incredibly quickly, and can populate asexually if given the right enviroment and nurturing. If they consume or kill any creature, they can take bits and pieces of the creature's soul to pick and choose to add to themselves. They are incredibly dangerous. Coined by Stapleton&Smith.
Mechanisms
Man-made race of mechanically powered sentients. This includes, but is not limited to, Androids, Cyborgs, and AI. Most Androids are of the JA model. Coined by Stapleton-Mecha.
Goldbringers
An extinct race of holy beings, founding the teachings of Crai. Their dusty history books tell the story of how the universe and all planes came to be. Unfortunately, the books are in a dead, near-undecipherable language.
Dragons
A rare, near-extinct race of lizard like magic users. Incredibly powerful, reserved, and wise. Most that you'll meet on the street are only quarter, or maybe half-dragon.
Humans
Rare, mythical creatures. Only the elderly and prophets hold their secrets....

Of endings and unfinished business
Recently on my deathbed (had tummy ache) I thought about manga that I read a long time ago and didn't finish, be it because I forgot or it got dropped in it's time.
And, the thing is, some of those manga were axed, wich made the artists take one of the hardest decisions you can make in that situation, have a rushed ending or leave it altogether.
I read a lot of manga becuase I tend to travel a lot, and I'm no new to this experience, but it makes me sad. sometimes we cannot give support to an artist (given that not every manga comes to the west) or our support is not enough; the manga industry is a competitive enviroment and it is bound to happen, but it is sad to see some gems that you like go away in that manner.
Sometimes you can go to their original source, as a lot of manga nowadays are an adaptation of an existing novel or webnovel and that can be relieving to me at least, as I read a lot, but I know not everyone is willing to find and sometimes buy the novels (and that's okay).
Thinking about ways to end, wich one could be better?
A rushed ending, were the artist gets to choose how to end the story, but it may feel unsatisfactory, as a lot of things do not get "closed", some character arcs don't get ever finished, and sometimes you get a jump in time for like 4-6 pages and it feel like you missed a looot
Or no ending, just leave it there, sometimes it happens at the end of a story arc or sometimes happens in the middle; maaan this one hurts, you are left abandoned with no chance to know what will happen
The first one i feel it cheap sometimes, it happened to me twice in recent memory, in one I was expecting a looong and angsty romance full of misunderstandings, but then it got axed and maaan, the central conflict of the story got solved in like 4 pages. The other one was very painful, and just kinda jumped to the future, the story was sooo good I loved a lot the first chapters, just look at this cutie (manga is "I love you as a friend")
Tumblr media
The other one happens most of the time with independent artists, were they leave the story for one reason or another, and I kkinda understand them, sometimes it's hard to continue or sometimes you get blocked, it can be disheartening; but this one pains me the most because I think more about the artist and the painful decision to leave the story. But, it can be worse, it could be some unexpected reasons, the one I think the most in this "category" is berserk, and I know a lot of people are sad even today because of its abrupt end.
The above can also be said about stories in hiatus, as sometimes this can become a veeery long or an eternal one (I miss Nana, its been a long long time).
To any creative people who is in the middle of writing or "making" any of your projects, I hope you can finish your story as you like, in the way you would like to be finished. Stories are the best when they are left withouth regrets or "unfinished business". BUT if part of the story is leaving some things unexplained or "unfinished" that is very cool as well, but sometimes you can easily tell when a story ends hurriedly.
Have any of you experienced any of these abrupt endings? on wich manga?
Bonus: I didn't know a thing about uma musume until recetly until that meme about matikane, now I'm all in and kinda really want to play the game (wich will come in a couple of months or so), wonder wich one will be my favorite in one year from now; maybe I should watch the anime. Here, I drew the chibi

Liquid Gold Revisited: Exploring the Excellence of Organic Olive Oil
In the vast landscape of culinary delights and nutritional treasures, organic olive oil stands as an exemplar of liquid gold. Renowned for its rich flavor, health benefits, and versatile applications, this precious oil has been a cornerstone of Mediterranean cuisine for centuries. As we revisit the wonders of liquid gold, let's delve into the excellence of organic olive oil, celebrating its distinct qualities and multifaceted contributions to both the kitchen and well-being.
Tumblr media
Nature's Bounty: The Essence of Organic Olive Oil
At the heart of organic olive oil's excellence lies the humble olive tree, scientifically known as Olea europaea. Indigenous to the Mediterranean region, these trees bear small, fruit-bearing gems—olives. The process of transforming these olives into liquid gold begins with harvesting, followed by a meticulous extraction process that involves pressing or centrifugation. Organic olive oil, in particular, is cultivated without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, ensuring a product that remains pure and untainted by chemical residues.
The distinction of organic olive oil lies not only in its cultivation but also in the pressing process. Cold-pressed methods preserve the oil's natural flavors and nutritional content, creating an unadulterated elixir that captures the essence of the olives.
Culinary Symphony: Flavors and Applications
Organic olive oil is not just a cooking staple; it's a culinary symphony that elevates dishes with its rich, fruity, and sometimes peppery notes. Whether used as a dressing for salads, a dip for bread, or a drizzle over roasted vegetables, organic olive oil adds a layer of complexity and depth to the palate.
The versatility of organic olive oil extends to various cooking methods. Its high smoke point makes it suitable for sautéing and frying, while its rich flavor profile makes it a star ingredient in marinades, sauces, and even desserts. From the robust taste of extra virgin olive oil to the milder notes of refined olive oil, the organic variants maintain a commitment to quality and purity that enhances the overall culinary experience.
Heart-Healthy Elixir: Nutritional Benefits
Beyond its delectable taste, organic olive oil boasts a myriad of health benefits that have contributed to its reputation as a heart-healthy elixir. Abundant in monounsaturated fats, particularly oleic acid, olive oil is known to support cardiovascular health by reducing LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels and promoting a healthy balance of HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol.
The presence of antioxidants, such as vitamin E and polyphenols, further enhances the nutritional value of organic olive oil. These compounds contribute to its anti-inflammatory properties, potentially offering protection against chronic diseases. The holistic approach to health that organic olive oil embodies aligns with contemporary dietary preferences that emphasize both flavor and well-being.
Liquid Gold for the Skin: Beauty Beyond the Plate
Organic olive oil's excellence extends beyond the kitchen to the realm of skincare. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids, it serves as a natural elixir for the skin. The emollient properties of olive oil make it a superb moisturizer, hydrating the skin without clogging pores. Additionally, its antioxidants help combat free radicals, potentially reducing signs of aging and promoting a radiant complexion.
The use of organic olive oil in skincare is rooted in ancient traditions, where it was revered for its ability to nourish and protect the skin. Today, the organic variant continues to be a sought-after ingredient in natural beauty products, emphasizing its enduring appeal as a liquid gold that enhances both culinary and beauty rituals.
Sustainability and the Olive Grove: A Harvest of Responsibility
The cultivation of organic olive oil aligns with principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Organic farming practices prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and water conservation, ensuring that the olive groves remain vibrant and resilient. The absence of synthetic chemicals in organic olive oil production minimizes the impact on ecosystems and supports the long-term viability of olive cultivation.
Furthermore, the timeless practice of traditional harvesting methods, often carried out by skilled hands during the autumn months, underscores a commitment to preserving the authenticity of organic olive oil. The sustainability of the olive grove is not just a matter of agricultural practice; it is a testament to the interplay between human cultivation and the natural world.
Conclusion: Nourishment for Body and Soul
As we revisit the excellence of organic olive oil, it becomes evident that this liquid gold is more than a culinary delight; it's a source of nourishment for both the body and soul. From the sun-kissed groves to the kitchen table and the skincare routine, organic olive oil weaves a tapestry of flavor, health, and beauty. Its rich history and timeless appeal continue to make it a staple in households around the world, resonating with those who appreciate the artistry of wholesome, natural living. Embracing organic olive oil is not just a culinary choice; it's a celebration of the bountiful gifts that nature, in its wisdom, bestows upon us

For someone who likes to act like others have no reading comprehension, you don't read very well yourself.
1. I wasn't talking about people who support JKR herself. I wasn't talking about supporting her monetarily or socially. I was talking about the books. Creations can be appreciated without appreciating their creator. Nothing is so black and white, unfortunately. JKR should be bashed into the ground. You can do that while reading HP. Besides, what sweeter a victory than for people oppressed something to claim that thing for themselves?
2. Have you ever ordered anything from Amazon? What about Temu? Have you ever shopped at Walmart? Or perhaps you own an iphone. Perhaps you enjoy soy milk. I hope you know that if you do, you are obviously supporting the mistreatment of employees, child labor, and contributing to putting money in the pockets of men who are already wealthy beyond measure as well as racist/sexist/homophobic/ect. According to your logic, anyway. Since you're a witch, I'd also venture to guess that you collect trinkets. Correct? Things like gem stones, bones, and maybe even sea shells? No. Of course you don't collect sea shells. Because if you did, you'd automatically belong to a hermit crab hate group. Only evil people who think hermit crabs should die collect sea shells. Didn't you know? /sarcasm (No, really though, collecting sea shells is very bad for the enviroment, just so anyone else reading this knows.)
As someone who has never read or been interested in Harry Potter:
Can we stop being little arogant pricks about Harry Potter fans? Fuck JKR. She's an awful woman who shouldn't be defended. She's transphobic trash. We can all agree on that.
But what the hell do you think you're accomplishing by making book fans feel guilty? Do you really think you're so smart, so morally superior, so original? When you leap at the opportunity to crush something that once helped someone connect with themselves? Something they loved, most likely as a CHILD?
Any media can be criticized for its flaws. Some are more glaring than others. Children don't choose what brings them joy and comfort. And it isn't like you can just erase all of that. I'm sure everyone has a certain media they enjoy that falls short of being progressive. Especially older media.
You can like Harry Potter without liking or supporting JKR. The books don't promote transphobia or homophbia, right? So, who cares? You want to do something that will actually have a slight impact? Help people find ways to get books and merchandise second hand. Let people like Harry Potter while speaking out against JKR. Steal Harry Potter from her like the gays stole the rainbow from god. If we can reclaim words, then why not a whole book full of them? Fuck's sake. You people are nicer to people who read the fucking bible.

GEM Enviro Fights For A Greener & Safer Environment
Plastic materials provide many conveniences in our daily lives and directly or indirectly employ about 10 million people. Agriculture, textiles, pharmaceuticals, automotive, infrastructure, and electronics are just a few of the industries that employ plastics. Unfortunately, unsustainable plastic consumption has caused several problems, causing scientific garbage collection and recycling management. Many businesses and entrepreneurs stepped up to help Local Bodies fight this enormous struggle.
Mr. Sachin Sharma and his associates found GEM Enviro Management to help with the recycling of many packaging trash. The company was founded in 2013 and began working on plastic garbage collecting and recycling in India, as well as providing end-to-end waste management solutions to clients.
GEM Enviro Management Pvt. Ltd. is a Delhi-based ‘Waste Management Agency (WMA).’ It is successfully running under Mr. Sachin Sharma’s supervision and leadership. The company offers WMA/PRO, which simplifies the collection chain of much plastic waste, such as PET, H.D.P.E., L.D.P.E., P.P., and other types of plastic waste, for recycling, as well as the marketing/promotion/selling of recycled items created from plastic wastes. It ensures a healthier and greener environment for current and future generations. Ganesha Ecosphere Limited, India’s largest PET recycling company with a turnover of USD 100 million in PET waste recycling, marketing, and branding of recovered yarn, backs GEM Enviro.
They organise and take part in various awareness programmes in schools, universities, offices, residential groups housing societies, rag-pickers colonies, and other locations with the purpose of raising public awareness about trash sustainability and recycling. GEM Enviro, as a recycler, is even designing Reverse Vending Machines and Hand Pressed Reverse Vending Machines in-house, which are currently installed in over 25 places around the country. They are active members of PACE, an industry organisation that brings together producers and manufacturers of plastic packaging (PET Packaging Association for Clean Environment).
Mr. Sachin estimates that, on average, each home disposes of roughly 20 bottles every month in an interview with Your Story. A community of 500 flats will produce 10,000 bottles together. Customers can earn rewards such as freebies and other incentives by using reverse vending machines.
The selling of packaging scrap to recyclers and the sale of recycled items to corporate organisations are the two primary sources of revenue for GEM. The site has partnered with Ganesh Ecosphere to sell PET waste and get a percentage of the profit. Ganesh Ecosphere produces fiber[N1]  from PET trash, which GEM purchases and uses to make T-shirts, hats, and bags. The prices of the items range from Rs 250 to Rs 700.
“The Indian recycle business employs up to 10 million people, directly or indirectly,” said Sachin Sharma, Director of GEM Recycling, one of India’s major PET recycling enterprises. Because plastic, particularly PET bottles, has a high recycling price, it is one of the best methods for a variety of people involved in the business, from rag pickers to recyclers, to earn money. We must address the fundamental issues that are affecting the environment, such as our irresponsible behaviour manifested in littering and an ineffective waste management system, as a group. We believe that a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) is the best method for collecting post-consumer PET bottles for responsible recycling. With the aid of the government and citizens, we can create the correct system with a comprehensive approach and efforts from everyone in the value chain.

Tokyo Mew Mew New Ep 18 Toughts
Again this episode left me without words, i don’t know how or where to start. Guess I’ll start by saying what i liked the most
Number one gotta be kid Ryou playing scientist in his dad lab. not that the original depection of him was bad but this time I feel like he’s really into science, his father steps, the mew project everything
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The original japanese subs said UMA which stands for Unidentified Mysterious Animal
Tumblr media
ACTUAL SCIENCE AND UMA DNA LET’S GOOOOOO
Tumblr media
From Keiichiro biography card,
Tumblr media
this confirms his adoptation into the Shirogane family
The foreshadowing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ryo’s father acknolodging his a must better scientist and researcher than him
Knowing the burdens Ryou will have if he continues the follow his foosteps
Aoyama nightmares continue, everything is under this blueish grey atmosphere, Darkness and ugly thoughts are consuming his mind
The Chimeras
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They appeared cause Ryou was researching UMA? Or where the aliens already stablished on Earth? I hope we get answers to this
They have a gem, so it’s probably they were infused with an alien parasite by either the aliens or whatever Ryou was researching had escaped the lab
Family
Tumblr media
Even though the shirogane family interaction with Keiichiro was short, i loved it, somehow I felt like he was a cared for member of their family and because of that the outcome was more emotional.
Tumblr media
THANKS GOD, NEW DIDN’T MADE IT LOOK LIKE A SUICIDE LIKE IN THE MANGA OR A RANDOM FIRE STARTING LIKE IN THE ORIGINAL. She tried ... :( Mew Project The rest develops like in the manga and the original with Ryou having memorized everything but this time we get a glimpse into the research
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They went to every spot that had the RDA they needed for research, based. We also see this two characters growing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I never about this because how cat Ryou looks in the original, but IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE A BLUE RUSSIAN?
Tumblr media
Having Ichigo mention us, the mews, just  confirms what I’ve been saying, he cares for all the same way
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A bit of character development on Ichigo side, she’s feeling guilty for the way she treats him, despite him caring for their safety even if its his fault that they’re in this situation, what a loop.
Tumblr media
I love that they keep focusing on green enviromental solutions, more care for the enviroment, animals, plants, etc like we’d seen at the end of every TMM volume with WWF, this is the basic idea of TMM.
Tumblr media
Nice plot idea for the aliens
Tumblr media
It’s still a enemy of the day kinda of plot but with some truth behind its actions I LOVE IT
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Can confirm this, I live near a river (Rio Tejo) and since the waters are more clean now every year we get visits from a dolphin family (will share videos later)

Lettuce stepping up, Ryou worried with her safety,, all it took was for her to stand firm in her belives, she was the best Mew for the job and she belives she can handle it then she’ll try no matter what, I know its hard to see but when Ryou’s looking at the red sea we can see a white thing moving, its Lettuce and Masha being swept away, that’s why Ryou says this line

I love how she relied on everyone trusting her to find the courage to keep going.

The rainbow detail, thanks to the (mew) aqua and being sunny :’)

MVP, and the day is saved

Having the Nlue Knight not wanting Ichigo to fight anymore and only protecting her keeps following like the manga, I’ll share my thoughts when the reveal episode is released, to avoid spoilers for non-manga readers.

I loved Ryou’s reaction, as far as they all know, he can’t be trusted, he might be a manipulative character. Altough..... this leave little space to Ichigo wondering his identidy, because RYOU AND KEIICHIRO ARE RIGHT THERE

<3, Ichigo seeing her teammates are evolving, its so sweet
Tumblr media
Aoyama ruining the mood XD but after what he witnessned on TV is normal for him to think that way.

I intreperted Ichigo line to what Aoyama said before, she’s not wondering about her relationship with him she said she’s happy being near him, she’s wondering about the planet’s conditions

This reverts back to episode 1, what can she do to protect the planet
I wonder what kind of approach will TMMN take to make Ichigo mind at ease, will it end with the final Mew Aqua, will it continue and develop to A La Mode? If she decides to follow alongside Aoyama’s dream, I hope they give us  a glimpse into A La Mode story.
