General rules

The main focus of events run by the UminoIrukaEvents Tumblr account is Umino Iruka from the series Naruto and therefore the main focus of any creations for its events should be Umino Iruka.

You are welcome to create any type of work not limited to fanfiction or fanart, such as metas, headcanons, cosplay, crafts, moodboards, AMVs, emoji, stickers, icon sets etc. 

Your works need to be newly made for the event and you may not use AI to generate said work.

There is no length or quality requirement for the events unless stated in the event rules.

Your creations should be inspired by one or more event prompts. 

You are welcome to create any type of content be it gen or ship, SFW, NSFW or DARK - however your works must be tagged appropriately and include warnings where these apply. If you post on Tumblr any non SFW content needs to be hidden under a cut (whether you choose to use Tumblr’s built in rating system is up to you). A tagging guideline will be posted before the start of the first event.

Events will run on Tumblr and with an accompanying collection on Ao3 for you to use if you would like to.

Depending on the event type there may be additional rules/expectations such as mentioning the prompt the work goes along with when posting, respecting the posting date if the prompts are tied to a specific day, filling out the prompts you have completed on your bingo board in a Google Form or similar. Such rules/expectations will be included in a separate post for each event. The main purpose for additional rules is to keep the event organized and so that Mod can reblog your works throughout the event and include your works in the event master post.

You are always welcome to contact Mod through asks on this Tumblr be it with questions, suggestions or just general comments.

Last, but most importantly, no ship, character, content or creator bashing in any form.

INTRODUCTION ─ hello. i'm shawn. i'm thirty one years old and reside on the east coast. i would label myself as a chaotic homosexual with he/him pronouns. during my free time ... one can find me obsessing over my meticulously organized spotify playlistss, dabbling in various art mediums, or reading alone. i've also been in the roleplay community since i was a teenager (mainly jcink or invisionfree forums) and it's always served as an outlet for me! my inbox is always open to discuss ideas and potential plots! 

WRITING PREFRENCES ─ historically, even more so in the past few years i tend to find myself writing mostly males who find themselves in mxm relationships. when it comes to triggers there isn’t much that overwhelms me and if i’m uncomfortable, i’ll vocalize that. as a writer in this community, i value all kinds of styles and creative outlets but much prefer threads and rapid-fires. i'm pretty open to most genres but my most preferred are real life, supernatural, based on, southern gothic, and comic inspired. please keep in mind that we're not limited to just those and i'm willing to discuss all sorts of ideas. 

DEVELOPMENT ─ i’m the kind of writer who adores character development and creating extensive ships that can weather the storm. yes, i’m aware that i’m new to tumblr roleplay but some of my best partners have been made on similar sites and we’ve created some amazing characters in the process that we still write to this very day. i value plots with longevity and that we can flesh out over time. secondly, i’m an extreme fan of headcanons and creating content that drives our characters' ships forward. i’m not a fan of one-shots and then ditching pairs unless the “chemistry” isn’t there.

STUDIO'S MAIN RULES 🎥

These are the general rules for our server! PLEASE make sure to reread these in our rules channel if you join our discord, they are much more thorough and detailed on there. For the sake of knowing what you're getting into, here's a short form of what we expect! See our ROLEPLAY RULES for guidelines on rp.

GENERAL RULES:

1. No Hate Speech: Racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. will not be tolerated. You will be automatically banned for hateful behavior.

2. Age Requirement: You MUST 18 or older. Lying about your age will result in a ban.

3. Conflict Resolution: Contact staff if you have issues with another member. Don't resolve conflicts yourself or cause unnecessary drama.

4. Respect Differences: Don’t judge portrayals or dynamics. Dislike something? Keep it to yourself unless it’s illegal (ex: adult x minor).

5. Rule Changes: Staff may update rules at any time, make sure to check back!

6. Server Peace: Staff may ban or kick disruptive members, even without rule-breaking.

7. No Spamming: Avoid interruptions and spam. This includes posting the wrong content in the wrong channels.

8. Blacklist Respect: Disrespecting the banned list can result in an immediate ban. For clarifications, contact a mod.

9. NSFW Content: This content is only allowed in the designated channels. Keep it respectful.

10. No Mini-Modding: Leave moderation to mods.

11. Join/Leave Behavior: Frequent joining and leaving may result in a ban.

12. No Metagaming: Don’t use out-of-character knowledge in character. Repeated offenses may result in a ban.

Laid-back writer with a Life Outside the Internet seeking cool guys, gals, and enby pals to write with! If you're a talented writer who enjoys slow-burn buildups, indulgent plots, and ooc-planning, this may be for you! I write both male and female characters, using RL faceclaims. I ask that you, too, use photographic FCs where able -- preferably actors or actresses. I am usually quite open to writing a specific face if it is your preference, though of course I have some favorites myself. I tend to write dominant-leaning characters, though I will write switch happily. I do not enjoy writing obligate submissives.
