Let’s talk about real grimoire practice.
You don’t need hand-pressed parchment or gilded calligraphy to make your magic meaningful. The truth is, most witches don’t have hours every day to sit down and craft perfect pages. Some days, your magic shows up in the margins, in messy handwriting, or on a neon sticky note tucked into your journal.
And that’s still valid. More than valid—that’s magic in motion.
Your grimoire is your own living record of practice, lessons, and energy. Whether it’s a photocopied herbal chart, a scratched-out moon phase tracker, or a single line chant you wrote while sipping cold coffee on a Monday morning… it’s all sacred. It’s your craft made tangible.
Here’s a witchy tip for today: ✨ If it works, it’s worthy of your grimoire. ✨ If it feels powerful, even for five seconds, it belongs. ✨ If it’s a sticky note with a spell scribbled in Sharpie—it’s already magic.
Don’t get trapped in perfectionism. Your grimoire isn’t a museum piece. It’s a spellbook in progress, a mirror of your growth, and yes—sometimes, it’s a hot mess. And that’s okay.
So if all you’ve got time for today is a sticky note incantation taped to your desk? Good. That’s Monday magic at its finest.

Top Secret!!!!!
A Group Chat Involving Everyone but MC and Luke
Solomon: It's nearly time for me to give MC their preliminary exam. How many stars is MC up to?
Mammon: you serious, bro????
Mammon: you haven't kept track of mc's stars????
Mammon: old man alert
Satan: Four.
Solomon: Thank you, Satan. What other three virtues have been rewarded?
Diavolo: Gratitude from me.
Simeon: Patience from me and generosity from Luke.
Solomon: So, chastity, diligence, and humility remain. I was thinking of having us play Tail Thieves.
Asmo: I love you, Solomon, but no.
Solomon: What's wrong with Tail Thieves?
Asmo: One, it's a childish game.
Lucifer: ^
Asmo: Two, do you not remember how MC behaved the last time you tested them? They were BORED OUT OF THEIR MIND, and it impacted their performance as a result.
Beel: That's true.
Asmo: Any twists you come up with are going to be too predictable.
Solomon: *glaring crow sticker*
Solomon: I'm SURE you have a better idea.
Asmo: I do, actually.
Asmo: It involves testing their chastity.
Solomon: Go on...
Asmo: We'll seduce them.
Mammon: that's a stupid idea!!!!
Levi: youre just saying that because youre jealous
Belphie: *laughing emoji*
Beel: *gif of someone doing a spit-take*
Asmo: I'm being serious.
Asmo: During their last stay in the Devildom, I managed to charm them, which gained me access to their deepest desires.
Asmo: They have fantasies involving all of us. Tempting them with those will be the ultimate test of their chastity. If they're able to resist, then they earn the star.
Lucifer: That's actually a well thought-out idea.
Barbatos: ^
Diavolo: ^^
Solomon: *glaring crow sticker*
Solomon: Fine.
Solomon: Who's participating?
Levi: mammon and i are out
Mammon: speak for yourself!!!! the fuck???
Levi: if this is meant to really test mc then everyone has to commit to the bit and you and i both know that youd tap out the minute mc looks at you sideways
Mammon: *glaring crow sticker*
Levi: while ive gained some confidence i still wouldnt be able to maintain my composure long enough to complete something like this
Asmo: I will provide the necessary information, but I myself will not be seducing MC, as much as it pains me to say.
Satan: Of course it would pain you to say that.
Asmo: *eye roll emoji*
Solomon: Do you want to judge with me?
Asmo: I mean, I kinda figured we would, so...
Barbatos: My participation will depend on what I'm meant to reenact.
Asmo: Are you afraid it would conflict with your duties?
Barbatos: Yes.
Diavolo: Well, if you're worried about me stopping you, don't. It wouldn't be fair of me to expect you to sit this out if I'm planning on participating.
Mammon: WHAT??????
Levi: bro
Levi: he literally jumped out a castle window to be with mc
Levi: he's THIRSTY
Belphie: Unfortunately.
Asmo: Not to be the bossy brother, but Lucifer, you aren't allowed to back out.
Lucifer: Wasn't planning on it. I know where I stand in MC's mind.
Satan: You know, I think I might chill with Mammon and Levi. I thought about joining in the fun, but I don't think I have it in me to see things through.
Satan: And before anyone chimes in, no, it's not because Lucifer confirmed his participation.
Belphie: We know. If it was, you'd be trying to one-up him.
Satan: Thank you, Belphie. I TOTALLY wanted that out there. *eye roll emoji*
Beel: I'm in.
Belphie: Quick question: would it be fair of me to participate?
Asmo: Actually, you'd be PERFECT for this. You can argue that you know MC more intimately than ANY of us. You'd know what buttons to push to make them really sweat.
Belphie: Okay, cool. I'll do it, then.
Simeon: Me too.
Levi: lol what
Mammon: ayo, do you even KNOW how to seduce someone, simeon?
Simeon: How do you think I'm able to write some of the scenes in TSL?
Levi: well okay then
Solomon: So, to confirm: Lucifer, Beel, Belphie, Diavolo, and Simeon are definite participants, Barbatos is a maybe, and Mammon, Levi, and Satan are sitting this out?
Nine people liked Solomon's message.
Mammon: the three of us can keep an eye on luke. we can either help him run the cafe or take him out someplace fun.
Levi: you know you seem awfully chummy towards luke lately
Mammon: we bonded during our fairy hunt.
Asmo: Then that settles it. Solomon and I will meet with the volunteers for further discussion.

✨ Planning 2024 with witchcraft ✨
Blessed 2024 to all.
Some tips if you're spending the day, as I am, reflecting and planning ahead for the new year.
🔮 Be aware that making a wish isn't manifesting. When making new year's resolutions, spend time scheduling and planning the goal you have in mind. Manifesting only works if you dedicate energy and time to it.
🧹 Clean your home to get rid of old energies and make space for the new. I like to start from the room that is furthest from the entrance, and make my way to the front door.
🛁 Cleanse yourself with a bath/shower ritual. Use scents of rose and lavender to attract love, lotus and cinnamon for success, or eucalyptus and mint for health.
🃏 Use Tarot to prepare for the new year. My favorite readings for New Year's Day are Past-Present-Future, or 1 card drawn for each month of the new year.
💌 Write a letter to yourself, to open at the end of the year. Be specific about who you hope to be then, while keeping in mind compassion and self-love.
🌛🌝🌜 Play with the rule of 3. In magic, the number 3 has strong properties and can be really powerful. Use it to write down 3 main goals or 3 habits you'd like to tackle in 2024. Check this post where I am using the rule of 3 to plan a magical year.

Anniversary Witchcraft
As you all may or may not know, I am a married witch! I have spoken about my husband before in our motorcycles and car magic post, however I felt now would be an amazing time to talk about some of the rituals we do on anniversaries coming up! (September 17th to be exact) First of all, Happy 7 years darling, I am so proud to be your wife every day, and I am so grateful you have been my raven, my rock, and my partner in crime. I so adore you, and I cant wait to spend the rest of our time on the Tellus Mater together. Till death do us part, but even then we will remain ghosts on our record player. With that said, lets get started!
What is magical about an anniversary?
Much like any holiday, we create personal celebrations like birthdays, celebrations of life, and anniversaries to keep track of the time that has been spend together. It should be a celebration of love and strong living together! The first instance of a wedding anniversary comes from ancient Rome, where on each year of marriage the spouses would crown each other with things (more traditionally, the husbands to their wives) and on their 25th anniversary they would be crowned with a wreath of silver.
Later on, in 18th century Germany, people started a tradition of gift giving, and eventually created a yearly symbol you gift to someone as a tradition each year to ward off spirits, people looking to harm the bond, and even in some cases death itself!
Today we celebrate anniversaries around the world, whether you are recreating Armenian balance bread, or trying out Japanese senbazuru, however you choose to celebrate may it be unique and full of love!
Magical Ideas
Now we may need some spell and divination ideas for our anniversaries so here are some of the ones my husband and I love!
Follow the yearly gift guide! - This fun tradition is actually celebrated and honors world wide cultures because a lot of them had their own yearly traditions adapted into one! The old saying goes on your first year you give paper, the 5th you give wood, 10th you give aluminum, 25th you give silver, and 50th you give gold! These guides are a fun way to get connected to your relationship but also honors tradition which can strengthen your relationship magically!
2. Create a protection ritual for the year on your anniversary - when you start thinking about how to preserve your relationship you get a lot of factors you have to plan for. Every year my husband and I put obsidian arrowheads in the corner of our bedroom as a way to protect our sacred relationship! this process can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be
3. Petition and honor deities of marriage - Each year my husband and I honor 3 gods, Hera, Aine, and Zepar! This is because we wanted to honor our pagan practices and heritage in our marriage, so we picked one hellenic for my history, one irish for both of our ancestoral line, and one infernal for my husbands history! We do also petition elemental spirits, and update them as we do our yearly river walk
4. Create a shrine to your relationship - We created an altar to dedicate all our gifts to each other, and important works of art we have created, when we put together a shrine for our love, it really helped up to feel connected, so we like to renew it every year
5. Do some divination about the year ahead - Feel free to use this custom spread I use each year! Its awesome if you can do this together! Additionally, you can use cafe astrology to create a free "birth chart" for the day and time of your anniversary
Other ideas?
For my 18+ friends, design a sensual ritual that involves all 5 senses to link yours together
Create a magical meal together to protect and honor the relationship
Create a joint journal or scrap book for memories
Exchange cards, gifts, and sweets to make the other person feel special
Enjoy a nice time out getting coffee or exploring a garden
Make the bed together, and do chores together during the day, then rest and relax at night
In general anniversaries are special! I will be making an age restricted post about sexual magic very soon so stay tuned for that! I hope all of my friends have enjoyed this post, and from our family to yours, happy anniversary!

Using Demonic Sigils

Demonic sigils are specific types of symbols or seals that are used in various magickal traditions to represent, summon, or communicate with demonic entities. These symbols are believed to hold the essence or the power of thr demon they represent, acting as a focal point for rituals involving these entities. The use of demonic sigils dates back to ancient times and has been incorporated into numerous magickal practices and grimoires throughout history.
Historical Origins
The practice of using symbols or seals to represent demons is ancient, with roots in cultures around the world. However, the formal use of demonic sigils is most notably documented in medieval and Renaissance grimoires. These texts, such as 'The Lesser Key Of Solomon' (also known as Ars Goetia or Lemegeton), provide a catalog of demons, each accompanied by a unique sigil.
A sigil can have immense power because it's a gateway to a certain energy. It's like having a direct line to a powerful person, except that the person is a spiritual force, not constrained by the time/space continuum. The ancients knew all too well that our world is not only physical, that there are entities among us that we can't perceive with our ordinary senses, yet they can be communicated with through symbols which activate our higher intuitive faculties and open a door for their arrival.

Purpose And Use
Demonic sigils serve several purposes in magickal practices, including:
• Summoning- Sigils are used in rituals to summon demons, providing a method for the practitioner to focus their intention and call forth the entity.
• Communication- Sigils facilitate communication with demonic entities, acting as a bridge between the practitioner and the spirit realm.
• Command- In some traditions, possessing a demon's sigil gives the practitioner a degree of control, over the entity, compelling it to perform or grant requests of the summoner. Most entities will resist this type of magick and some may turn hostile. Use sigils with respect and consideration.
A sigil of a summoned demon can be utilized in various ways after the ritual. For example, by carrying it with you, placing it in a prominent place in your home, an altar dedicated to the demon, or in some cases of baneful magick, placing it near the target, burying it, burning it, etc.

Creation And Activation
Demonic sigils found in grimoires are traditionally received through mystical revelation or compiled from older texts. Modern practitioners may use these historical sigils or create new ones through various methods of sigilization, such as the rearrangement of letters from the demon's name into a symbolic design.
Activating or charging a demonic sigil typically involves ritualistic practices. These can include specific invocations, the use of ceremonial magick tools, and the creation of a ritual space. The goal is to energize the sigil and open a channel of communication with the entity it represents.
There are also techniques that can be used to create a unique sigil that connects a person with a specific demon for the purpose of attunement. Such a sigil being charged and activated to serve a single connection rather than everyone who chances upon it, can be a more powerful conduit. It is comparable to a dedicated VS a shared network.

Authoritative Texts With Demonic Sigils
Some grimoires contain extensive lists of demonic entities, their attributes, and corresponding sigils. Here are some notable texts that include information and drawings of demonic sigils:
• The Lesser Key Of Solomon (Ars Goetia, Lemegeton, Clavicula Solomonis)- Particularly the first section, known as the Ars Goetia, which details 72 demons along with their sigils and methods of summoning them.
• The Grimoire of Honorius- Attributed to Pope Honorius III, this grimoire includes sigils and instructions for summoning spirits, including demons, and is known for blending Christian and pagan elements.
• The Book Of Abramelin- Written by Abraham von Worms, this book describes an elaborate ritual known as the Abramelin Operation, designed to obtain the knowledge and conversation of one's guardian angel but also includes information on the summoning of demons as part of its broader magickal practice.
• The Pseudomonarchia Daemonum- An appendix of Johann Weyer's 'De Praestigiis Daemonum', this text lists 69 demons along with brief descriptions and is notable for its critical perspective on the practice of demonology.
• Grimorium Verum- (Latin for True Grimoire) is an 18th century grimoire attributed to one 'Alibeck the Egyptian' of Memphis, who purportedly wrote itnin 1517. Like many grimoires, it claims a tradition originating with King Solomon.
• The Munich Manuel of Demonic Magic (Codex Latinus Monacensis 849)- A 15th century grimoire, this manuscript focuses on necromancy and demonology, including sigils for summoning demons.
• The Grand Grimoire (The Red Dragon)- Known for its powerful rituals and the summoning of demonic forces, this book also contains sigils and instructions for making pacts with demonic entities.
• The Black Pullet (La poule noire)- While primarily known gor its talismans, this grimoire also includes methods for creating sigils and rings that are used to grant the user various powers, including influence over demons.
• The Sixth And Seventh Books Of Moses- These books are a collection of magickal texts that purport to describe the magick practiced by Moses, including the use of seals and sigils associated with both angels and demons.
The sigils found in these texts are often used in their original form even today. There have also been modifications and new sigils are constantly being created, especially by chaos magicians.

Rising Waters, part one
141 x witch!reader | old gods of appalachia au | ongoing cw: environmental disasters, supernatural elements, blood, typical canon violence
You didn’t know where to go when the water rose. When the creek came up and lapped in waves at the four walls of the cabin you’d lived in your whole life.
This should have been another autumn thunderstorm, just like the ones you’d dealt with every other year. But when you woke up in the early hours of the morning, the sky still pitch black and the heavens still pouring down, you knew it was not like every other autumn thunderstorm.
The water was up to your thighs in your bedroom and up to your waist in the kitchen. If you didn’t get out now, then you wouldn’t get out again.
There was a moment where you thought about grabbing something. Your grimoire, maybe your mother’s cookbook? But judging how high the stream was outside, you knew they wouldn’t stand a chance.
Fear and adrenaline were wonderful motivators. You didn’t think about how dangerous swimming through the flood would be after you climbed out through the window. It wasn’t like there were many other options.
The flood spat you back out on land, where you thanked the Green and prayed It would keep you safe. You like to think It cared about you, but you didn’t hold out much hope.
Grabbing onto a tree, you used it to pull yourself up with shaking arms and watched as your home, your very life, drift down past you. There was no time to mourn, as you now needed to figure where you were in relation to the main road.
You knew this land, of that you were certain. But the pouring rain and rising creek made navigation a bit of a tricky task. Not only that, but the clouds plotted out the moonlight. The smart thing would be to wait until the rain stopped to start moving, but the water was rising still and you needed to get to higher ground. That should be easy.
Your true problem came when you realized you weren’t alone in the woods. Then it turned from problem to problems when you realized there were at least three massive figures surrounding you.
The lightning in the sky provided you with the occasional glimpse. Silhouetted among the trees as you ran through the trees, pouring rain, and rising water, you saw them.
They couldn’t be human. Not with the speed they moved at or the unnatural grace at which they did. You thought about the day you and your mother ran from your daddy. You thought about your mother and terror built in your gut, rising in your chest and throat.
She would have called them what they were, whether it be superstition or truth. Your mother would have called the hollow men.
Men whose very souls, the very essence of being truly alive, have been carved out. What’s left is a body with no sense of purpose other than what’s been given to them…or carnal violence. But seeing three all gathered in one place and working on a common goal - hunting you down - is not exactly common. And it begs the question: where is their handler?
Even with the rain that had soaked you through and continued to beat down, you knew you were crying. The sense of helplessness was overwhelming your senses and you soon found yourself completely turned around. You used to know these woods like the back of your hand, but in a storm like this, that meant nothing.
It was as if the land was warping. Changing and mutating to prevent you from finding your way to the road. Not like it would do you any good at this point. Any of your “neighbors’” cars would have been swept away by now and emergency services wouldn’t start running again until after the rain slowed.
More tears came with the strike of lightning that illuminated the massive figure running past you. Was that a skull face?
You found yourself in a clearing, frantically turning around as the forest rustled and wind howled. The figures were now closing in on you and a sob escaped your lips as. They had been trying to get you here. You should have kept running, but it all began to catch up to you.
Standing on shaking legs and bloodied feet, you wondered when they would pounce. Maybe they’d let you die from fear before hearing you limb from limb and sinking their teeth into your flesh.
Unfortunately, these men didn’t seem that merciful. It was like a game to them, you thought.
You landed on your back. The wind was thrown from your lungs, tears burning in your eyes while you wheezed for breath while crying from the pain. Your head spun as the hysteria caught up to you.
There was nothing left to do but crawl in a pathetic attempt to…to what? Escape? Make them take pity and spare you? You weren’t sure. You just wanted to survive.
A large hand wrapped around your ankle and pulled back down into the mud, dragging you towards them as you clawed at the earth.
Those same rough hands flipped you over and the lightning flash once again illuminated the hollow men - only calling them that because there was no other explanation for how terrifying these men were - while they pinned you down. The rain was smothering, drowning you as it pelted down. You looked up, unable to make out their faces clearly through your blurred vision.
The appearance of a fourth one, the only one who spoke and thus the one who controlled the three others, made your blood run cold.
It was a deep rooted fear, one of being surrounded and trapped by man. Being so trapped, and so helpless, and so utterly terrified in the midst of a storm of a century, of a tempest you never had a chance of escaping, drove that terror in deep.
“Hail witch.”
A scream came up and tore itself from your throat so hard that blood filled your mouth. The thunder drowned it out, along with the sound of his boot hitting your head.

now he's not A WEAPON but he was among the test subjects. when the order was given to get rid of all subjects besides emil & halua a researcher who had gotten attached to him whisked him away & continued the experiments to ensure he would live long, forever even, & that he would be able to fend off against anyone trying to harm him. they had a sort of... father-daughter relationship? (#transgender) but in a rather sinister light. that researcher meant well but ultimately failed to view workingname:absinthe as his own person beyond being a lab rat even if he humanised him more than the heads of the facility. he was a child in need of saving but also a pet. a dog. a creature you feel bad for for not being able to control their situation as a being of "lesser" intelligence & sapience. a being that needs protecting through external or supernatural means because it does not have the means to do so on its own. & absinthe went along with it, because that researcher was the only person he had, & he loved the researcher. the closest thing he had to family. when immortality & the ability to manipulate his lifeforce to regenerate or drain others' as well as other energy shifting skills was offered (or rather pretty much forced onto) him how could he refuse? it was both for the greater good & for his own sake. it would also make him better at protecting his father. he was like 14 at that point btw & note the researcher did not do any research on himself. again not seeing him as a fully realised individual
in a technical sense he is functionally a weapon. they share immortality & abilities humans can't normally wield. but he wasn't officially one of the weapons used by the facility. is what i mean
rubbing my temples. replicant insert does not even have a name yet at this point im gonna name him absinthe & be done with it
#he learnt about a LOT of what humans did to try & safeguard humanity. he has most definitely learnt about the hamelin shit#like. ages after it passed... but he learnt about the grimoires. he learnt about replicants & the gestalt process#& kind of made it his eternal life's goal to try & fix things best he could. or at least help#i also think he had encountered the shadowlord & yonah way back but could not stick around to help#bc his father wouldve rushed him to save HIS skin. & it's something that would end up weighing heavy on his soul#yknow. maybe things wouldnt have gotten to that point if he had been able to help them before yonah touched grimoire noir#& so he spends the next millennium learning. testing (on himself). creating. trying to find other ways. other vessels for shades#he does not want to make the same mistakes as project gestalt... but he is relatively unsuccessful#just successful enough to achieve what i want him to really LOL

Shadow Work is a psychological and spiritual practice that involves exploring the unconscious or hidden parts of oneself, often referred to as the “shadow.” This concept, popularized by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, refers to the aspects of our personality that we reject, deny, or are unaware of. These can include repressed emotions, desires, and impulses that we consider unacceptable or undesirable.
The Purpose of Shadow Work
The goal of shadow work is to bring these hidden aspects into the light of consciousness. By acknowledging and integrating these parts, individuals can achieve greater self-awareness, healing, and personal growth. This process can lead to improved relationships, reduced emotional reactivity, and a more balanced, authentic self.
Steps to Begin Shadow Work
Self-Reflection: Start by setting aside time for introspection. Journaling is a powerful tool for this. Write about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, especially those that trigger strong emotional reactions.
Identify Triggers: Pay attention to situations and people that provoke intense emotions or reactions. These triggers often point to unresolved issues or aspects of your shadow self.
Meditation and Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness and meditation to observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment. This can help you become more aware of your inner landscape and the patterns that arise.
Inner Dialogue: Engage in a dialogue with your shadow self. This can be done through journaling or visualization techniques. Ask questions and listen to what your shadow has to say. This helps in understanding its origins and messages.
Seek Guidance: Working with a therapist, counselor, or spiritual guide can provide support and insight. They can help you navigate the deeper aspects of shadow work and offer techniques tailored to your needs.
Creative Expression: Use art, music, or other creative outlets to express and explore your shadow. Creativity can be a safe way to bring unconscious material to the surface.
Incorporating Shadow Work into Spirituality and Witchcraft
1. Rituals and Ceremonies:
Moon Phases: The waning moon is an excellent time for shadow work, as it symbolizes release and letting go. Create a ritual where you write down aspects of your shadow you wish to address and burn the paper as an act of transformation.
Samhain: This Sabbat festival, marks a time when the veil between worlds is thin. It’s an ideal period for introspection and shadow work. Set up an altar with symbols representing your shadow aspects and meditate on them.
2. Divination:
Tarot and Oracle Cards: Use these tools to gain insights into your shadow self. Draw cards with the intention of uncovering hidden aspects or issues that need attention.
Scrying: Practice scrying with a mirror or a bowl of water to tap into your subconscious mind. This can reveal images or messages related to your shadow.
3. Spellwork:
Protection and Grounding: Perform spells for protection and grounding before engaging in deep shadow work. This ensures you are energetically protected and stable.
Shadow Integration Spells: Create spells designed to help you integrate your shadow aspects. This can involve using herbs, crystals, and symbols associated with healing and balance.
4. Journaling and Grimoire:
Keep a dedicated shadow work journal or section in your grimoire. Document your experiences, insights, and progress. This not only tracks your journey but also provides a reference for future work.
5. Working with Deities and Spirits:
Dark Goddesses: Invoke goddesses such as Hecate, Lilith, or the Morrigan, who are associated with the shadow and transformation. Ask for their guidance and support in your shadow work.
Spirit Guides and Ancestors: Call upon your spirit guides or ancestors for assistance. They can offer wisdom and protection as you navigate your shadow.
Benefits of Shadow Work in Spiritual Practice

.。*♡ Day four: Making a pact with Sebastian
.。*♡ A/n: hehehe *twirls hair and blushes* you guys know that sebastian makes me weak, sir just one chance plsss 🥺💕💕
.。*♡ Warnings: Yandere content, animal's death, demonic ritual, implied stalking.
.。*♡ Tagging: @harukishiyo @laythestar

The room was dim, illuminated only by flickering candles arranged in a perfect circle on the cold, uneven stone floor. The scent of melting wax filled the air, mingling with the metallic tang of blood that had already begun to pool in the center of the chalk-drawn sigil. Your heart raced in your chest, each beat a thunderous reminder of what you were about to do.
There was no turning back now.
The world had turned its back on you. It started with the threatening letters slipped under your door, then escalated to the ominous shadows that lingered outside your window, following you through empty streets at night. You’d gone to the police, desperate and pleading, but all they saw was another poor soul who couldn't afford to buy their attention or sympathy.
Their dismissive laughter, the way they turned you away with false promises and empty reassurances, still echoed in your ears.
When they refused to help, you knew you had to take matters into your own hands. So here you were, kneeling on the cold floor with a trembling, white dove clutched between your blood-stained fingers. The small creature fluttered weakly, its eyes wide with fear, mirroring your own.
"I'm sorry," You whispered to the dove, its feathers soft and warm against your skin, yet there was an insincerity in your worss - you aren't sorry for what you were doing, you were sorry that you had to do it. You couldn’t hesitate now, otherwise, soon you will be on the dove's place.
The whispers of old texts, hidden away in the darkest corners of forgotten libraries, had led you here. You didn’t know if they were true but desperation has a way of making you believe in even the darkest of possibilities; sacrifices and blood rituals, murder and horrific acts, all to summon a demon powerful enough to help you. If, and only if, what it was written on the book was correct.
With a deep breath, you drew the knife across the dove's throat, watching as crimson blood spilled from the wound, staining the purity of its feathers. You winced at the sound of its final, feeble coo, but you didn’t pull away, even as warmth spread across your hands. You allowed the blood to drip into the center of the sigil, each drop absorbed into the lines until they began to glow with a faint, eerie light.
It was working.
The heavy smell of incense made your head hurt as the bird's eyes were fixed on you. Its eyes judged you, just as every other human had judged you. You ignored it.
You forced down the bile rising in your throat and began the incantation, your voice trembling as you spoke the ancient words, each syllable heavy with power. "I call upon the one who serves, the demon bound by darkness and danger. I summon you."
The air shifted, growing heavy and cold. The candles flickered wildly, their flames bending and stretching, and shadows danced along the walls, their movements frenzied and unnatural. One by one, the flames extinguished, plunging the room into darkness.
You felt a chill run down your spine and for a moment, you wondered if you had failed, if this had all been for nothing.
You closed the grimoire, frustrated. The ritualistic knife sliding from your hands till it hit the floor.
"I failed...?" You thought out loud. You closed your eyes, repeating every step you had to follow under your breath.
Step one: draw the pentagram on the ground of the chosen demon. Step two: sacrifice a living being to gain the attention of the desired demon while thinking with all your might about your goal. It was important to have a strong sense of wanting, otherwise he would ignore you.
With all the steps completed, now was the time for the demon to appear, if your will and sacrifice had pleased him. Maybe... Just maybe if you had offered something bigger like a dog or... A child... Maybe it would have worked.
Silence was your only companion for the next few seconds as you rethought your next steps. Your hands were already bloody, you might as well take care of your problem with your hands.
Then, when you reopened your eyes, from the darkness, two glowing red eyes blinked at you, their light piercing through the shadows and staring directly into your soul. You froze instantly, the air trapped in your lungs as you stared into those beautiful ruby eyes. It was real.
It was real. It had worked.
A smooth, almost amused voice filled the air, echoing off the walls. "My, my, what a desperate little human we have here."
The darkness seemed to shift and move, taking form. When the shadows receded, he stood before you - the most handsome man you have ever seen, silky black hair cascading down his neck while his red eyes mesmerized you, stealing every little breath from you so effortlessly.
He was taller than you’d imagined, with sharp features and a refined air, his black tailcoat immaculate despite the gloom that surrounded him. He regarded you with a gloved hand resting against his chin, an expression of mild curiosity dancing in his crimson eyes.
"Tell me, little lost lamb," he murmured, his voice rich and velvety. "what does someone like you desire from a demon such as myself?"
His presence was overwhelming, pressing down on you with an intensity that could make your knees tremble if you wasnt already kneeling. You swallowed hard, forcing yourself to meet his gaze. "I… I need your help," you stammered, your voice barely more than a whisper.
"Someone is trying to kill me. I've gone to the police, but they… they wouldn’t help me. They said I wasn't worth their time because I’m poor. I have no one else to turn to."
His eyes flashed, a flicker of something dark and dangerous passing through them. "How pitiful," He said softly, though there was no trace of pity in his tone. "And you believe that by summoning me, you can escape this fate?"
You nodded, biting back the fear that threatened to choke you. "Yes," Your tone was more firm this time. "Would I be mistaken?"
The demon's smile widened, revealing the faintest hint of sharp teeth. He crouched by your side, his movements so fluid and graceful that you were certain that he really wasn't human.
"You are not. But what, pray tell, would you offer in return?" He asked, his voice dropping to a whisper as he reached out, a gloved hand tracing the curve of your jaw.
"You’ve already given me the life of this poor creature, that's true." The demon continued, glancing at the lifeless dove still laying on the pentagram. "But that is merely the price of my attention, not my service."
With his free hand, he took the dove's lifeless body and without thinking twice, he opened his mouth and swallowed it whole.
You trembled under his touch, feeling the heat of his skin even through the fabric of his gloves, a mix of feelings, mainly horror, came over you when you saw him do that. But now it was too late to regret it.
"I don’t have anything else." You confessed, your voice shaking. You haven't actually thought that ahead, you were sure that this whole ritual thing wasn't going to work. Yet again, you were wrong. "But if you protect me, I… I will give myself to you. My soul, my body — whatever you want. Just please… don’t let them kill me."
His eyes narrowed, and for a moment, his expression was unreadable. Then, he leaned in closer, his breath warm against your ear, the scent of death emanating from him in waves. "You would give yourself to me, body and soul, for the mere promise of protection?"
His voice was soft, but there was an edge to it, a dark hunger that sent a shiver down your spine. "How delightfully naïve."
Tears pricked at your eyes but you blinked them away, refusing to let him see you break. "Yes." You whispered. "If it means I’ll live, then yes."
A low chuckle escaped his lips, and he pulled back just enough to look you in the eyes. "Very well." The demon murmured, lifting your hand and pressing a gentle kiss to your knuckles.
The touch of his lips sent a jolt through you and you watched, entranced, as the blood from the dove's wound seeped into your skin, forming a mark that glowed faintly with an unholy light.
"The pact is sealed, dear Y/n." The demon announced, his voice echoing through the room. "From this moment onward, I accept you as my master. You may give me a name."
"Your name... I'm going to call you Sebastian." The name fits him quite well ans by the way he smiled, he thought so too.
"Sebastian, it is then," He was serene. The name rolling on his tongue as he spoke. For sure, another contratee may had given him this name before and he seemed fond of it.
Sebastian helped you stand up, still holding your hand, and the sigil beneath both of you flared to life, its lines glowing a brilliant crimson before fading into the stone. The mark on your skin pulsed once, twice, and then settled into a faint, silvery brand.
It seems like a real tattoo, you thought as you looked at it.
The pain that came with it was brief but searing, like the sting of a thousand needles all over your body. You gasped, nearly collapsing, but your demon caught you, pulling you into his arms. His touch was gentle, yet firm, and you could feel the power thrumming beneath his skin, a barely restrained force that sent your heart racing.
Your mark was pulsing in sync with him. When he breathed, air rushed into your lungs. When he smiled, you felt your mouth curve wide. It was all involuntary.
You were one; contratee and contractor.
"Now," Sebastian whispered, his lips brushing against your ear, "no one will harm you, not while I am here. I will deal with anyone who dares to threaten what is mine."
Tears welled up in your eyes, a mixture of relief and fear washing over you. "Thank you," you breathed, your voice barely audible.
"Ah, but it is I who should thank you," Sebastian replied, his smile widening, and this time, you could see the possessiveness lurking behind those crimson eyes. "You have given me something far more precious than you realize."
His arms tightened around you, holding you close as if he were afraid you might disappear right before your eyes. "I shall enjoy our time together, my dear," He murmured, "and don't worry, no one will ever take you away from me."
And as you stood there, trapped in the embrace of a demon who now owned your very soul, you felt the weight of your choice settle over you. You had sacrificed everything but for the first time in weeks, you felt a flicker of hope, of safety.
Even if it was the darkness that cradled you now, it was a darkness that promised to keep you, to cherish you and never let you go.
You could live with that.

In the music video, Blitzø is represented by the Moon, while Stolas is associated with the ocean, initially walking on it before being submerged in it. This is actually very symbolic of their dynamic. The Moon controls the tides, but at the same time, it orbits around the Earth. Blitzø relies on Stolas and is drawn to the force of his power that he needs to accomplish his goals. However, Stolas is controlled by Blitzø's gravity as well, to the point of drowning in his emotions for the imp. They both profoundly affect one another.
Even the string that ties Blitzø and Stolas together is deeply symbolic. The majority is Stolas's blue, which is representing how much he's put into the relationship so far, as well as the massive amounts of feelings he's going through dealing with possibly losing Bitzø once he gives him the crystal. He has so much length to it because he's being so much more open about his feelings as well.
Meanwhile Blitzø's red is barely there because he doesn't, and possibly can't, put more into the relationship than he currently does. He has so much self-hatred that it's almost impossible for him to love anyone romantically, considering he doesn't even love himself. That and he's scared to put himself out there only to be hurt. He shows so few emotions and so his portion of string is immensely shorter. When it snaps, it all goes back to red on his end as all his trauma and repressed emotions about it flood back and envelope him in the moon once more.
Pay attention to the size of the moon. At first the moon was small, that is, these "walls" were thin or insignificant (this can be recognized from the childhood of Blitzo and Stolas, Blitzo was full of enthusiasm and hope, but now it is slowly fading away). Previously, Blitzo was more open, but after many events in his life, his walls began to increase (he was used by his father for profit, his best friend Fizzaroli suffered because of him, etc.), and eventually became huge and impenetrable (he does not share many things, not even with his own daughter, and he's afraid to trust Stolas on purpose). Even Stolas, with his tall stature, cannot compare with them. This literally shows that Blitzo can't trust anyone.
Stolas sees this and tries to break through them, but until they talk, the walls will not be possible to get through. It is precisely because this "barrier" cannot be destroyed that Stolas will give Blitzo the opportunity not to depend on him because of some kind of grimoire. The Moon's increasing size may also indicate that Blitzo is becoming a significant figure to Stolas. He wants to be with Blitzo not only physically (by type of sexual attraction), but also emotionally. In other words: Stolas fell in love with Blitzo seriously, not in childhood, when it was just sympathy, but real love, which is difficult to get rid of.
The symbolism of Blitzo as the Moon is very reflective of his and Stolas' relationship. Not only is it a callback to the fact that they mostly see each other once a month on a full moon to do “the deed”, but it it's also just a great metaphor for Blitzo as a character. Humanity has been fascinated by the Moon for a long time and tried to reach it for centuries and it was only in 1969 (relatively recently) that they managed to do it. The moon had always been this gorgeous, desirable, yet unreachable thing and that's exactly what Blitzo's love is from Stolas’ perspective.
Stolas' love for Blitzo is represented by the moon. First small and bright, something he can hold close and dear. Then larger, something harder to hold but something still fully within his grasp. Then at the end, impossibly large while also just out of reach
The moon also mirrors the power dynamics between Stolas and Blitzø, at the start with Stolas holding all the power, then Stolas putting himself at Blitzø’s level when he finally tries to look deeper and see what Blitzø needs and his walls. Then the moon grows larger than Stolas as he intends to give Blitzø the crystal so he doesn’t have to depend on him anymore. And now the power in the relationship shifted towards Blitzø. Whether the relationship continues is now up to him.

Diabolically Yours | part I (vessel!demon x reader)
Summary: Emma just wanted a simple magical boost to win a writing contest, not a snarky and handsome demon bound to her soul. But after summoning the wrong hellspawn, she ends up stuck with Vessel: a sarcastic, shirtless chaos entity who won’t stop flirting or stealing her snacks. Now they’re magically tethered, emotionally entangled, and dangerously close to something much scarier than a pact gone wrong... feelings.
TW: Contains supernatural shenanigans, mutual pining, steamy tension, and one annoyingly hot demon. Read with care (and maybe holy water on the finals part).
A/N: I'll try update regularly because i'm really excited with this idea. This is also something new that i'm trying so, please, bear with me. It's being crossposted on ao3 too.
💖 masterlist
Part I | Part II
Part I: Where Everything Goes Wrong
Emma wasn’t the kind of person who made deals with demons. At least, not until that weekend.
She was the kind of person who organized her mugs by color, cried during movies with dogs, and said “excuse me” even to store mannequins. But she was also the kind of person who was absolutely fed up.
Fed up with a stagnant life, with a pile of ignored résumés, unpaid freelance gigs, family gatherings full of invasive questions like “so, any boyfriends?”, and above all, fed up with relying on luck.
So why not cheat a little? Not much. Just enough.
It was just a basic pact. A “mystical agreement with an underworld entity for moderate personal gain.” No soul-selling involved (she read three blogs that guaranteed this), no sacrifices, nothing too heavy. Just a simple ritual with easy-to-find items: black candle, red chalk, coarse salt, and blood from the summoner. There was even a tutorial on YouTube — dubbed.
The goal? To summon a useful demon. Nothing too ambitious. One specialized in creativity, literary inspiration, maybe a bit of extra charisma — things that would help boost the frustrated writing career Emma so badly wanted to take off.
She even chose a specific name: Belmior, the Demon of Eloquence.
According to the grimoire Forgotten Spells and Hidden Codes (available as a PDF on Telegram), Belmior was polite, focused, wore a linen suit, and helped artists create masterpieces.
Perfect.
The ritual was set up on her bedroom floor: rug rolled up, furniture pushed aside, window slightly open to “oxygenate the energy.” Emma lit the candles, drew the circle with chalk and salt, put on the suggested ambient music (something ethereal with harps, very conceptual), and recited the words in a firm voice:
“Domine voco te, Belmior, Artifex Verbi, Veni et responde...”
The ground shook. The candles blew out on their own. A cold wind blew from nowhere.
Emma smiled. It was working!
Until, with a sharp crack — like a lightbulb bursting — the air split in two and a figure appeared in the center of the circle.
But… it wasn’t Belmior.
He wasn’t wearing a suit. He didn’t radiate serenity. He didn’t bring a quill and inkpot. What emerged looked like it had stepped out of both a ceremonial nightmare and a divine painting.
The figure was tall, lean, with dark skin that shimmered with an unsettling metallic sheen. His face was covered by a pale mask, adorned with golden lines and glowing green symbols that pulsed like living magical veins. Where eyes should’ve been, there was only shadow. And where there should’ve been a mouth… the silence was sharper than any scream.
He wore a dark cloak with gold details and chains hanging from his body as if they were part of him, decorating his chest like cursed jewels. On one shoulder, a white piece of ornate armor — fit for a king or a celestial executioner.
He looked ancient. Solemn. And completely out of place in Emma’s room, between a half-dead plant and a bag of cookies.
“Seriously? You used finger blood for this?” he said, in a deep, slightly hoarse voice, clearly annoyed.
“Great. A hysterical human with a blog ritual.”
Emma went pale. “You... you're not Belmior.”
“And you’re not smart. But let’s deal with one problem at a time.”
He looked around, scowling at the crooked circle on the floor, the fallen candle, and the harp music still softly playing in the background. Then he looked back at her.
“My name is Vessel. And you’ve just made the worst kind of ritual mistake: summoning me by accident without a clear purpose.”
“I just... wanted creative help!”
“And you summoned a demon of dimensional disruption. That’s like calling a plumber to fix a broken heart. Congrats.”
Emma stood in silence for a moment. Then she sighed. Deeply. “Okay. Okay. This can be fixed, right? You can just… go back?”
“I’d love to. Really. But there’s one small detail: you called me incorrectly, with an incomplete connection and an unfinished contract. The result?”
He stepped toward her, and she instinctively stepped back. He took another step. She backed up again. He followed, like they were dancing some kind of supernatural tango.
“We’re stuck.”
“Stuck?”
“Stuck. Glued. Bound by a partial arcane link. You summoned me and didn’t release me. I can’t leave until... the bond dissolves through some sort of great personal achievement.”
“This is a joke.”
“My entire existence is, darling.”
Emma sat on the floor, dazed.
“I just wanted to write a good story for my semester project. It’s worth 70% of my grade.”
“And now you’ve got a demon as your personal coach. What an opportunity.”
She glared at him.
“You’re going to mess everything up, aren’t you?”
“Most likely.”
Emma squinted, trying to figure out if this was real or just a caffeine-fueled creative breakdown.
“So now what?” she asked, voice still shaky. “What happens next?”
Vessel stretched his arms as if waking from a nap. He looked absurdly comfortable in the room, as if Emma’s bedroom were just an extension of hell — which, given the scattered clothes, might not be that far off.
“Now? Now... we live this nightmare together. I follow you around, you try to get rid of me, and somewhere in the middle, you learn a lesson.”
Emma stared at him. “You’re kidding.”
“I have literally centuries of experience with botched summonings”, said Vessel, folding his arms and leaning against the wall like someone commenting on the ending of a predictable TV show. “It always ends the same way.”
He raised a hand and started counting on his fingers:
“First: the human learns a touching emotional lesson.” One finger. “Second: they cry. Always cry. Sometimes ugly cry”, two fingers. “Third: I get banished dramatically, surrounded by smoke, cheap candle scent, and an existential crisis that lasts about fifty years”, three fingers. He dropped his hand and sighed theatrically. “The only variable is the candle scent. Vanilla, cinnamon, jasmine... a scented hell.”
Emma raised an eyebrow at him.
“And yet you keep coming?”
“The entertainment makes up for it. Plus, humans are... delightfully messy. I never know if I’ll end up in a gothic castle, a suburban garage, or” he gestured broadly “a room with shelves full of cheesy romance novels.”
“Is that a compliment?”
“If you want it to be.” “Right. And in the meantime, you’ll just... stay here? With me?” “Of course. Unless you want to find out what happens when we’re apart.” “What happens?”
He smiled. That should’ve been illegal. It was the kind of smile reserved for perfume commercials with French names and a lifetime contract with sin.
“Try it. Go on. Walk thirty steps in any direction. I’ll wait.”
Emma hesitated. Her rational brain screamed that it was a bad idea. Her curiosity said “what’s the worst that could happen?”
She took ten steps to the bedroom door. Nothing. Fifteen. Vessel stood still, arms crossed. At twenty, a light pressure hit her chest. At twenty-five, it turned to dizziness. At thirty, it felt like an emotional anvil was dropping onto her heart.
She staggered. “Okay! Okay, I get it!”
Vessel appeared beside her before she could blink, hands behind his back and a mock-innocent expression.
“You reached the limit. Congratulations. We’re officially mystical Siamese cats. Isn’t that cute?”
Emma leaned against the wall, catching her breath.
“This is a nightmare.”
She stormed back into the room, flopped onto the couch. Vessel sat in the armchair like exiled royalty. “And don’t you have, I don’t know, a hellish boss to report to?” “I do. But he’s busy with an interdimensional conference. Don’t get involved with demonic bureaucracy — it’s worse than a bank queue.”
Emma frowned.
“You’re really taking this well.”
“Like I said, this isn’t my first time stuck with a clumsy, cute human who mispronounced arcane words like a margarine commercial.”
She arched a brow.
“Did you just call me cute?”
“I said clumsy and cute. Don’t take it out of context.”
“Are you flirting?”
“I’m breathing. In my species, that’s already halfway to flirting.”
She turned her face, trying to hide the small smile that slipped out.
“And what if I just... ignore you?”
“I sing. Loudly. And my voice makes dogs cry.”
“Lovely.”
“And I know the entire ABBA discography.”
“That... that’s not a threat. That’s a promise.”
Vessel smiled genuinely for the first time. Emma noticed that, behind the irony, there was something almost... comforting. Like a presence that, despite the chaos, fit better than anything else she had ever tried to summon into her life.
“Fine.” She took a deep breath. “You can stay on the couch. But no dream invading, no touching my chocolate drawer, and absolutely no commenting on my sad song playlists, got it?”
“Got it.” He paused. “But I can help you write. I’m great with sarcasm and irony.”
“Hmm. Maybe you’ll be useful after all.”
“Oh, Emma... you haven’t seen anything yet.”

Jasper's Servitor/Thoughtform Resource Post
last updated: December 23, 2024
Please note: The biggest difference between a servitor and thoughtform is the level of sentience (or perceived sentience). A servitor is not sentient, while a thoughtform is. Determine it as you will.
Also, a disclaimer! Even if I don't find a source particularly helpful, you might get more out of it than I did! I just like to categorize and sub-categorize things.
Tumblr Posts I Find Helpful
How to Make a Servitor by viadescioism: A rather straightforward guide on servitor creation.
Creating a Thoughtform by windvexer: A decently lengthy guide on thoughtform creation.
When Creating Thoughtforms by witchesalleyway: A little reminder about picking the shapes of your thoughtforms.
Technowitchcraft - Thoughtforms by aceswitch: A post with the idea of using a USB drive as the "body" of a servitor/thoughtform to allow for future edits.
Egregore by trustmepink: An extremely short post defining what an egregore is. Great for being introduced to the word and concept, though there's not much meat in the post and the sources/helpful links are a bit questionable.
Sigils: Scribbles to Forget or Spirits to Remember by witchofsouthernlight: While not about servitor creation, this is about reusing sigils for specific goals and how those can be spirits in an animist perspective. A really neat post overall and useful here because of the way that servitors are often tied to sigils.
Entity Creation Worksheet by jasper-pagan-witch: Adapted from Creating Magickal Entities, but altered to a decent extent so it's more helpful to me personally.
Servitor Design Template by ritual-and-chaos: Adapted from Servitor Magick, extremely straightforward with an explanation. A great alternative to my adaptation of the template from Creating Magickal Entities.
Chaos Magic: Servitors, Thoughtforms, and Godforms by trollkunnig: Incredibly in-depth and detailed when it comes to servitor creation, but since OP deactivated, the links in reference to the godform parts are broken. Damn the loss of information on the Internet!!!
Destroying Your Thoughtforms: by viadescioism: A fairly detailed (if a little wall-of-text-y) post on the destruction of the thoughtform, with a guide in case you didn't build a kill switch/phrase into your thoughtform to begin with.
Thoughtforms: Theory & Ethics by spiritvexer: A good companion post to the thoughtform destruction one above, giving a few alternatives to total destruction for the thoughtforms when you no longer need them.
Thoughts on Thoughtforms by spellsandwoo-woostuff: An insightful read into another approach to thoughtforms as OCs or writing muses given life rather than spells given sentience.
Basics of Servitor Creation and Implementation by majokkid: Part of majokkid's Magi Praxis series, this goes over the basic steps of servitor creation in a way that is straightforward, easy to understand, and works well even beyond magical girl-aligned practices.
Easy Ways to Charge Energyforms by windvexer: Goes over a bunch of different energy feeding and charging methods for servitors and provides resources for making this shit easier. And gods know we need to make this shit easier.
Books And Websites I Find Helpful
Condensed Chaos: An Introduction To Chaos Magic by Phil Hine: While this is a chaos magic 101 type book, it has an incredibly robust chapter on servitor/thoughtform creation. It also has the benefit of talking about chaos magic more broadly to give you more context for servitor/thoughtform creation. You can find my initial thoughts on it here. APPLICABLE PAGES: 106 to 125, under the chapter name "Chaos Servitors"
The Forty Servants, The Four Devils, and The Grimoire of The Forty Servants by Tommie Kelly: Two pre-made servitor systems that are incredibly in-depth and, in my opinion, quite fun to use. There's a little bit of plug-and-play applicable here.
Magickal Servitors: Create Your Own Spirits to Attract Pleasure, Power and Prosperity by Damon Brand: It is effective, straight to the point, and actionable. But interestingly, it's incredibly combative towards chaos magic, which is where servitor/thoughtform creation sprung up to begin with. You can find my initial thoughts about it here.
Tumblr Posts I Find Less Helpful
Creating a Servitor and Creating a Thoughtform by witchy-oates: These guides aren't bad, but they really seem to focus on the fear that a servitor will spontaneously develop sentience, which I generally disagree with.
Is Your Spirit A Thoughtform? by elysiumconjures: A lengthy questionnaire and list of red flags that an entity you're interacting with might be a thoughtform. Personally I found it frustrating to read, but the list can at least guide beginners who are still learning discernment techniques to figure out what to look for.
On Telling The Difference Between A Thoughtform And A "Real" Spirit by creature-wizard: The counter-post to the above one, though you kind of need to see both perspectives to fully appreciate creature-wizard's wonderful counterpoints.
Distinguishing Imaginary Friends, Thoughtforms, and Spirits by spiritconnect: Another post about deciphering whether what you're talking to is a thoughtform or some other kind of entity.
A Short Guide to Thoughtforms by thewitchofbucktown: Longer than it promises, and I personally don't feel like referring to all deities as thoughtforms is something that works with my understanding of things at this time, but not a bad post considering it was written 11 years ago. Plus, OP hasn't deactivated, which is really hard to find in servitor/thoughtform resources.
Servitors: A Basic Guide to Artificial Entities by tinyrosemarysparrows: While this is a very detailed guide with some interesting and unique approaches to servitor creation, the author dropping back to "destroy if it even blinks wrong" (not that much of an exaggeration) makes me hesitant to recommend it fully, hence its placement down here. The post even says you can reprogram servitors but still recommends immediate destruction for every little thing, so…it's not really how I roll.
Books And Websites I Find Less Helpful
Creating Magickal Entities: A Complete Guide to Entity Creation by David Michael Cunningham, Taylor Ellwood, and T Amanda R Wagener: I hated this book so much. Out of everything in here, I found only four things that were actionable and that I could use. Every single author here was pretentious as fuck and took forever to make their damn point. This could have been an email. You can read more of my complaints here. The three parts that I found most interesting can be read in these Tumblr posts of mine: Servitors as Links; Energy Store-House Entities (ESHEs); and Servitor Biographies.
Protection & Reversal Magick: A Witch's Defense Manual by Jason Miller: I can't fucking believe I'm putting a Jason Miller book here. And look, I can't say this entire book is helpful because I haven't yet finished it, but the section on artificial spirits created for magical offense and defense? Probably one of the best sections on servitors/thoughtforms I've read in a non-dedicated book in a while. Just be aware that his tone of speech is deeply annoying, and this book of his leans more Hekatean. But because I have not finished reading this book, I cannot recommend this book fully. APPLICABLE PAGES: 119 to 146, under the chapter name "Spirit Guardians and Servitors"
Hands-On Chaos Magic: Reality Manipulation through the Ovayki Current by Andrieh Vitimus: I hated this book. I hate this book. I will hate this book. It's deeply frustrating and there's only so many times I can keep writing "stop citing a white woman on hoodoo" in the book itself before I just start eating the pages. That, and many similar problems, are why I do not find this book helpful on the whole despite how in-depth it goes in its three chapters on servitor creation. The author also refers heavily back to Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine, so that's required reading before you even pick this up. Personally, I'm just not impressed. APPLICABLE PAGES: 287 to 339, under the chapter names "Creating Entities with Energy and Information", "Giving Form to Concepts and Ideas", and "Advanced Practicum on Entity Creation"
Jasper's Miscellaneous Bullshit
Jasper's Energyform Zine by jasper-pagan-witch: I suffered for two months to write this damn thing and by the gods I shall shill it.
Jasper's Guide To Energyforms by jasper-pagan-witch: A little glossary of how I, personally, use the terms you've seen speckled throughout this post.
The Modal Commander Servitor by jasper-pagan-witch: A Magic: The Gathering Commander format approach to creating a kickass servitor that can change and adapt as easily as swapping out cards.
Atronachs, Ash Guardians, and Quick Notes on the Less Common Atronachs on @the-college-of-whispers: Want a quick look at how Jasper from 3 years ago approached the idea of elemental Daedra as entities, both created and summoned? These three posts are for you.
@jasper-and-the-forty-servants: Remember how I was talking about the plug-and-play part of the Forty Servants above? Yeah, that's what I do over on this blog. My favorite two are, hands down, Falco Spara, Pactweaver as the Protector and Dina, Soul Steeper as the Healer.
GOFLOWOLFOG and Fotamecus: Two servitors/egregores that I and people close to me have had incredible experiences with. Hell yeah to both of them.
Mesperyian: Tumblr's very own Greek goddess egregore. An excellent study in the power of multiple people taking something and running with it. (Her original story can be found here, by the way!)

Yet another HB fan theory that may never get confirmed/answered.
Sooo this turned into a 200 word mini essay. Sorry. 😭 I've been sitting on this for a while, thinking about a very popular question among us Stolitz shippers:
What got Blitzø to start falling for Stolas so hard?
AKA "Stolas' detachment from realistic expectations was actually crucial as much as it messed things up."
We know pretty well what Stolas sees in Blitzø - his 'take charge' personality, his ambition, how Blitzø is always full of ideas and determined to go through with them. But what about Blitzø getting so attached to Stolas? How did this emotionally repressed cat lizard get so tied to this socially inept owl? I've discussed reasons in other posts, but I feel like there's one detail I haven't brought up RE when they first reconnected as adults:
Stolas was the first person from Blitzø's youth who met him as an adult and not only didn't reject him, but still believed in him and who he wanted to be. Potentially more than his own friends/employees in some ways.
Blitzø lost every close childhood connection after the fire and basically changed his entire self to create distance from who he was, even altering his name. When the show started, everyone who had known the old him (his dad, Fizz, Barbie) hated him. The Blitzø before Full Moon didn't value himself. He put on a cocky facade and tried not to think about the implications of his behavior.
And this was his mindset when he went to steal the grimoire. We're not sure if the IMP crew knew he was trying to obtain it. Personal guess? He told them he had an idea to improve their business and didn't elaborate. He knew how easy it had been to steal from Stolas as a kid and convinced himself it would work this time, too. Blitzø didn't let himself think too hard about the risks, or if Stolas didn't deserve to be stolen from a second time. Sure, he seemed to think Stolas was decent by the end of their time as kids. But that was 25 years ago. Blitzø was shitty now, life was shitty, everyone was shitty, surely Stolas was shitty now too, and everyone hated Blitzø anyway, so what did it matter if what he was doing was unethical?
But Stolas didn't see him as shitty. It would've been completely acceptable for a prince to have the imp who broke into his home obliterated. He didn't do that, or have him arrested, or even question him besides some teasing remarks. Stolas saw the grownup version of the kid he once admired and sat him down for conversation.
And that same vulnerability/callback to their child selves was also what snapped Blitzø out of his decision to just take the book and go. And his 'real fast' didn't end up being that.
And here's where my fan theory comes in.
This was Stolas' first situation where he felt wanted, where he had a crack of light in his very dark life that made him believe he could make choices for himself. But what about Blitzø? This dude got down bad, too. What happened that might've started the cracks in his own emotional walls?
Based on S1E1, Stolas allowed him to take the grimoire instead of Blitzø stealing it, and he knew Blitzø intended to use it for his work. Which meant at some point in this "real fast" night, Blitzø must have explained what he wanted it for.
This IMP concept was, from the start, an anomaly. Imps don't own their own business, especially in the Pride Ring despite this literally being Imp City. They don't have their own office. And Blitzø hadn't told the rest of his crew about the office before leasing it. When we got the flashback to Blitzø first renting it, his best friend, the person who believes he can do anything, thought he was reaching higher than she and the crew could handle.
But you know who would never doubt this goal of Blitzø's at all? Who would've completely supported this bonkers idea and boosted Blitzø's confidence that he could do it?
Who was disconnected enough from working class reality that he wouldn't realize how out-of-touch this dream potentially was?
Stolas.
If Blitzø mentioned any of this - the IMP business, the goal of having Sinner clients, renting their own office - Stolas didn't see an imp trying to aim too high. He saw the same ambitious kid he used to know, working toward the dream he always had - even if the nature of the business changed. And he very well might have mentioned that, too. I think this childhood dream was something Blitzø had buried in the back of his head. But he'd spent 15 years losing or separating himself from who he was since the fire. He might not have made the connection that this dream of IMP was, essentially, who he always has been.
Stolas was the first person in Blitzø's life who knew him as a kid and still validated him as an adult. Who never treated any of his goals as out of reach. Who started making Blitzø confront that, under his new persona, and despite all the shit he'd been through, the Blitzø he had been as a kid was still there. (Edit - I'm actually wondering if that's part of why, when we see flashbacks of their interactions from Blitzø's POV, Stolas always looks rounder/softer and more like his kid self.) Stolas made a link between young Blitzø's and adult Blitzø's dreams and wanted to see them succeed, even if the methods used were illegal and could carry significant consequences.
And then we had Blitzø, who grew up in a circus where coworkers/family were one and the same, using Stolas' grimoire for his own business. He tried to convince himself that Stolas' affections were fake. But as others have pointed out, he never tried alternate methods to access the living world when he could have. In my personal fan opinion, Blitzø started to tie Stolas into IMP's success the moment Stolas believed in Blitzø's goal and decided to support it, even if he didn't realize it. Blitzø does not want to do things alone. Even if this faith in him was fake - it had to be fake! Everyone hates him! - it was constant, and he didn't want to lose it. There was not IMP without Stolas' support, literally at first and eventually because Blitzø didn't want there to be.
And Stolas, for his part, never rescinded that support. Even when IMP was captured by humans. Even when the grimoire was easily stolen out of Blitzø's own office. Even when things started breaking down between them, Stolas tried to reassure Blitzø that his work wasn't in jeopardy. Because he knew this office, this business, was Blitzø's dream. It was more than a job - it was part of Blitzø's identity, who he was.
Stolas fumbled over this in Full Moon at first, when asking for the book back, but he made it very clear right after that he did not want to make any decisions that would prevent Blitzø from being himself. Even as he felt he was losing Blitzø, he believed in him.
We've realized over S2 how much Blitzø did for his IMP team, and also Stolas. But I think this is an important connection, and I hope it gets touched on in S3, even if just in a brief conversation. Yes, Stolas was guilty of putting Blitzø on a pedestal many, many times. But I think that unfaltering belief was part of what made Blitzø get so attached to him. And why part of his breakdown in Ghostfuckers included letting the IMP business falter and nearly crash. The Full Moon not-a-breakup caused a spiral in his self-loathing, and his self-destructive fear that he would push everyone away. But additionally, IMP it currently was - the office, the clientele, etc. - only got off the ground because Stolas unequivocally believed in Blitzø. He had been an unseen force/support behind IMP and Blitzø ever since S1.
And if the person who most believed in Blitzø's success was gone, what was the point of having it?

Can someone explain to me Marinette's grand idea of letting Felix keep the peacock?
• Stole all the miraculous, handing them over to the villain. If Gabriel was out for world domination he would've played part in helping him reach his goal and thus basically ending the world
• Terrorized whole Paris, making everyone disappear, something not even the main villain of the show did all 5 seasons long. And he did that in 1 day. He was literally singing a happy song and dancing while spreading fear. If that's not something a maniac villain does
• Kidnapped Kagami and thought it was okay. Only likes her cause she's senti - he's basically racist (granted Marinette probably doesn't know this but we do and every other point should be enough for her not to trust him)
• Bullied Adrien since they were kids, which can go as far as putting camembert under his pillow and sending a hate message to his friends just cause he can, thus invading his privacy on his phone. Pretends to be him just cause he can too ofc for selfish reasons
• If all these weren't bad enough, he ASSAULTED Ladybug just to mess with Adrien. Sure he cares for his cousin : D
• Chances are if he betrayed her once, he might betray her again. Will put nothing past him
• Literally lives in London. Should he fly to Paris every time something's happening?
So why not give back the peacock to Nathalie? She's healthy again, on the good side, she's responsible and trustworthy, she read the Grimoire so knows more about any of the miraculous than anyone on the team, she's an ADULT and granted they seriously need one, she already has experience with the peacock and Duusuu likes her, has combat skills and they're more than impressive (slay queen) and she's smart af. Plus SHE'S RIGHT THERE!!!
