As stated by many already, this reveal was hinted way before. It was hinted with glitz and glam, twins 👯

Clearly there is a theme of duality. The idea of pairs or counterparts having that constant source of comparison because you’re like your literal half. But that got me wondering about the population of envy.

Like is envy full of twins??? Like just twins???

I’m super curious to see more of Leviathan in future episodes and whether her realm is twin-heavy.

Updated Helluva Boss Tierlist (S1-S2)

Since quite a lot has happened with the characters since my first tierlist, I've decided to remake it! The old one is the third shown, for reference. The tiers are slightly different, and I'll also be explaining some of my choices below the cut!

'Superior in my Fanon'

> i feel like i don't need to say that in my version of hb the dynamics between I.M.P. would be very different. still found family, just a better depiction of it.

> best way to fix Mayberry is to NOT have her end up with the woman she tried to kill both in real life AND after death imo. or at the least, flesh her personality out some more before doing so.

> in my version of hb Paimon isn't different in terms of personality. he's just around more in the current timeline and has more definitive interactions with Stolas.

> i don't remember the name of the guy from the blitzø hate party episode, but while he serves as a good show of stolas' flaws and weaknesses, i'd have preferred if he stood as more of a positive comparison to blitzø, highlighting the latter's flaws. this would include a little more screen time and a show of what exactly led to im and stolas dancing and kissing.

> I do NOT support Crimson's actions. However, he is one of the few solid villains we have left in Helluva Boss (and also I have a thing for villains).

> a lot of people take issue with Sallie Mae for reasons to her gender and how it's portrayed in merch + 'not portrayed sufficiently' in the show but I can't think of a single thing that's wrong with her and how she's written.

> y'all are hating on Envy for NOTHING 😭😭😭 i mean hating the design is valid but why are we surprised that it isn't accurate to the sources viv based it on?? this isn't new? and at least Envy isn't an eyesore like some others... but i'm maybe people want more of that?? idk, i feel like they're overhated. i love their design, that's about the only reason they're ranked so high.

> yes, i do like Stolas!! he's done a lot of things i don't like but it's part of his development. plus, realizing that he actually gets a lot of lasting consequences in canon (regardless of whether he ignores them or not) made me ease up on him. plus he's a crybaby twink. how could i not like a crybaby twink.

> a lot of the characters in this category are either here for their design or their defining moment. Chaz is a bit of a special case, and so is the hellhound adoption center lady. we're sleeping on Barbie Wire's rehab nurse, she did her job GOOD.

'Idrc'

> not much to say here. every character listed in this tier has failed to captivate my interest and for that, i simply don't think of them. a big point i thought of was "who are they without their defining drama?" and for most of them the answer was "little to nothing".

> there's a few random side characters in this tier. they are only present becuse they're side characters that i figured people would remember, and i wanted to state my opinion on them.

'I don't like them'

> all these characters are here because i either dislike the limited appearance they had, dislike their personality, or have extenuating beef.

> there's so much i dislike about Asmodeus- pretty much the same things i dislike about Beelzebub, but i decided to spare him from the very bottom of the list because he is one of the more actively kinder characters in the show.

Imagine Envy is the Ring where no one really likes going to cuz it's wet all the time,hell when you go to Envy,you have to wear safety garbs in case you get swept away by water after stepping out of the Elevator

The only ones who are unbothered with Envy Ring and perfectly fine with it and seeing it as their ideal home are the Aquatic Demons. I mean Sea Demons really put a whole other meaning to "Fish out of water"

Imagine a scene where a bunch of Sea Demons are in an Elevator going to Envy and they're so normal when they got pulled out of the Elevator by the water pouring in when the Elevator's door opened,eh it's a normal wet day,cuz y'know they're marine organisms

Literally I can get why Sea Demons can get irritated out of water,we know sea lifeforms don't do well on land

We can explore so much with Sea Demons!! They're literally from an entirely different ecosystem if you ask me,we have seen so many demon species which are majorly land demons. But NOT Aquatic Demons, they're entirely a different story,a whole fucking world if you ask me

Not to mention how lethal Sea Demons can get,we all agree the Ocean is like the Monster Planet, I just heard they recently discovered a new marine animal which looks like a monster of nature to me,no offense, it's really cool though

If there is one thing scarier than Hell, it's the Ocean

I wanted to make an envy/fish demon character but what ring should she live in?

Ok- listen to me on this one.

I find it surprising how the authorities arresting I.M.P. were from the sloth ring (the candles). Considering the fact that sloth = lazy. I’d expect the authorities to be from the wrath or even envy ring.

What if- and this is just a theory..

What if, Belphegor is always sleepy because she sleeps for the sinners and inhabitants of the sloth ring.

Belphegor is a sheep. When you can’t sleep, what do you do? You try to count sheep to try and get some sleep. Maybe, what Belphegor does is to help her subjects, she helps sleep for them and in return her subjects aren’t ever sleepy and always energised to do their work. All the energy she gains from sleeping, she gives it to her people so they dont require to sleep. But of course, this takes a toll on her because now she’s always sleepy.

I know, not alot of proof to go around this theory. But look at this guy,

He looks like some kind of anger therapist for Satan. He’s definitely from the sloth ring (the candle). And look back in S2 E4,

The guys are also from the sloth ring (the candles). Seems like all medicine/drugs comes from the sloth ring. And for a ring where you’re supposed to be demotivated or lazy, they do ALOT of work. From careers such as a therapist or an officer, these jobs require ALOT of energy. Some even time consuming.

And Belphegor seems to sleep ALOT compare to her own sinners/inhabitants in sloth. Thats why it got me thinking, how can her own people do all these jobs and yet Belphegor herself cant get through a trial without falling in and out of sleep? It makes you ponder.. why would she do that to herself?

Maybe because, her ring is at the lowest in the hierarchy. Its isn’t the most deadliest sin like pride or wrath. I also think she fears her ring might fall behind the other rings because her people will be too lazy to get anything done. So to avoid any mockery from the other Deadly Sins, she decides to give them energy by sleeping for them. It doesn’t matter is she’s oversleeping or not present when a meeting is being held, as long as her ring is prosperous, she’s sleeping peacefully.

I feel like the downside to all this is that, the sloth ring is ALWAYS awake. Nobody sleeps which means sinners and inhabitants are always finding something to do. Which is why her ring ends up being the ring with the best medicine/drugs, hospitals and maybe even security service.

Y'know, even though I'm pretty sure I'm trans and am thinking about telling my family, I've never really thought about what sort of style and aesthetic I'd want to go for as a girl, do i want long or short hair, do i want to dye my hair, do i want to wear darker or brighter clothes, etc etc.

And now Vivziepop has indirectly helped me realise.

The cat thighhighs, the pink skirt, the comfy hoodie, the black makeup, the blue into pink hair, its so cute and stupid and cringe and pretty and it is exactly what I want for myself. I've never gotten to try gender affirming clothing before, but this might be what pushes me to it honestly.😅 Sorry, just felt like venting about this genuinely eye opening experience for me.
