Im like months late but w/e but tbh i would have rather seen a real pot stirring in disn/ey’s fil/m goers

If they made an attempt to explore mal/e postur/ing, hyperma/sculinity in relation to the “ideal” ma/n that societ/y expects, and a ga/y relationshi/p between Gas/ton and Beas/t (and in earlier Fr/ench sp/ciety considering the time period)

Also idk, explore Ga/ston’s arrogance or some shit. Maybe he’s a w/ar time hero and thats part of why he’s so loved and just contrast the idea of a s/oldier (and h/untsman) who, while a bit dumb, has seen w/ar and a p/rince turned be/ast who has no idea of any real recent happenings in the world (bc of the whole isolation thing).

Give Gasto/n more depth i guess. Don’t brush his sex/ism and general ass/holery under a carpet. Like... i would have genuinely liked to watch him grow to be a somewhat better person while his actions/faults are still condemned but also acknowledged. Like... i wouldn’t mind B/east seeing his younger self in G/aston (B/east would still have his anger at this point but like... make connections between how similar they are and how they’d clash bc of that)

Also d/ancing scene b/c iconic

And also like have Be/lle still take a major (or at least dont delete her from the plot) role

I would have also have taken B/east being a w/oman and this being a confirmed lesbi/an coup/le for a major compan/y (ie. B/east and B/elle) but i would like if they changed up tje plot if that was tje case too tbh

Idk i would have really enjoyed a movie centered on a g/ay cou/ple instead and it wpuld have been nice to see that on screen and a message on how ypu can change despite your actions/past (in relation to Gas/ton since tbh, he was a shittier person than Beas/t imo in an/imated)

(I know we’re on the “let evil people die” track but idk i would have liked that message)

I still like the rem/ake but i dont really think it was a major bang (in terms of content not who played and worked on it) and i prefer the animated one tbh
