“Hold up.” Bucky frowned, keen eyes zeroing in on the back of Sam’s suit, where a nondescript bulge should have been. Shuri had designed the suit with a retractable helmet capability. When not in use there should be a slight but noticeable bump in the back. “Where’s the helmet?”

“The what now?”

"There's a helmet in that box from Wakanda that goes with the suit.”

Sam shrugged. “There wasn’t a helmet.”

“I know there was.”

“You weren’t even in Wakanda when they packed the box. How are you gon’ know there’s a helmet?”

"Sam, I designed the helmet. I know there's a helmet."

OR: Bucky goes into mother hen mode when Sam tries to leave the house without his helmet...

I dreamt there was a scene where Prime!Shadow laughs. Full on demented cackle over something he finds funny. It was glorious and nobody can stop me from putting it in a fic. The only problem is that I don't remember what he was laughing at BECAUSE HIS LAUGH WAS SO CONTAGIOUS AND DISTRACTING.

I had that dream again. The one about being trapped in a hotel elevator with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.

My phone was kinda low on battery but I'd already loaned out my emergency charger pack to Jared who was trying to call Gen. I had maybe seventeen percent battery life left, but I was also in the middle of writing a daily Sastiel prompt fic directly into tumblr and I wanted to finish before my phone died. I had already had to say "don't ask" to them about what I was writing because... duh.

I finished the fic, which I now can't remeber (because ofc), and hit post, then slumped against the wall of the elevator where I sat as my phone went into shutdown mode. Jared offered me back the power pack, but I told him to keep hold of it for the moment since I had a book in my purse to read if I needed to. Conversation was understandably stilted, because, y'know, stuck in an elevator we couldn't get out of and an uncertain timeline on rescue because that's how this dream always goes.

And then. Misha's phone chimed an alert. And he pulled it out of his back pocket and swiped at the screen, and his face lit up in that way it does, and he said, "Oh, great, new fic by the demon tiger!" And I spontaneously combusted.

I don't even know what was up with this dream, except that I've hit that same sort of workplace groove where I dream about doing my job that plagued me when I worked at Steak'n'Shake, but this time the "job" is writing a fic a day for tumblr prompts, and I'm subconsciously terrified that Misha is actually going to find my fics and read them.

Usually the dream just has us pass the time playing Cards Against Humanity.

Watching s1 Supernatural out of some morbid curiosity and it's so dumb? No need to do research on mythology when you can just have a character go "every culture has some version of X" or "many cultures have myth about X".
