A Darling Broadcast As I said before he sounds WAY more energetic here to me. He just does. Something about this just has more cadence to me. He's still monotonous but its just...its different! The sunlight streaming through the grimy windows of the bar was almost cheerful—a rarity in the Undercity. Outside, the sounds of laughter, shouting, and footfalls echoed faintly as Vi, Mylo, Powder, and Claggor ran wild, making the most of the clear day.

Luna, however, hadn’t moved an inch.

She sat at the small table tucked in the corner of the basement, a cluster of colored pencils scattered around her like fallen candy sticks. Her nose was nearly pressed to the page as she worked furiously, muttering little things to herself and occasionally smudging a mark with her thumb.

Vi had been the first to approach.

“Hey, Lu,” Vi called from the stairs, her voice a little breathless, already winded from whatever game they’d been playing outside. The sunlight streaming through the narrow basement window made her silhouette stand out sharply at the top of the steps. “You’ve been down here all morning. Come on! The weather’s good for once!”

“I’m busy,” Luna replied without looking up, her voice sing-songy and stubborn, as if whatever she was doing was far more important than the rare sunshine outside.

Vi frowned, taking a step down. “Busy? Busy with what?”

“Stuff,” Luna said cryptically, her brow furrowed in concentration as she gripped her pencil and carefully sketched a tiny detail on the page.

“Stuff, huh?” Vi teased, hopping down the last few steps with a thud and crossing the room toward her. She craned her neck to see what Luna was working on, hands tucked casually in her pockets. “What kinda stuff?”

“Secret stuff.”

Vi’s eyes narrowed playfully. “Secret? What, like a treasure map? Some sorta… master plan for takin’ over the basement?” She leaned in just enough to catch a glimpse over Luna’s shoulder—

But Luna was faster. With a sharp gasp, she threw a tiny arm over the paper like a shield, hunching over it as if it were the most valuable thing in the world. “You can’t see!” she declared dramatically.

Vi blinked, startled by the sudden defensive move. “Whoa! Okay, okay!” She raised her hands in mock surrender, laughing lightly. “Didn’t know it was top-secret business.”

“It is,” Luna said firmly, shooting her a very serious look from under her lashes before going back to her work.

Vi crouched down beside her, resting her elbows on her knees as she watched the little girl scribble furiously with a pale blue pencil. The focus Luna had was impressive—her tongue even stuck out slightly between her lips as she coloured like her life depended on it.

“Alright,” Vi said after a moment, a little more gently now. “But you’ve been down here all morning. Everyone’s starting to wonder where you ran off to, y’know.”

“I didn’t run anywhere,” Luna mumbled, still not looking up.

Vi snorted. “That’s the problem, goblin.”

Luna froze just long enough to look up, her face scrunched in confusion. “Goblin?”

“Yeah. Like a little basement goblin.” Vi smirked, nudging her lightly with her shoulder. “All holed up down here, not talkin’ to anyone, hidin’ secret treasure…”

Luna’s lips twitched, but she tried to smother the smile, ducking her head back down over her drawing. “I’m not a goblin.”

“You sure? Actin’ pretty goblin-y to me,” Vi teased, tilting her head to try sneaking another peek.

“No looking!” Luna shot her a sharp glare, one hand still protectively covering the paper.

Vi held her hands up again, her grin growing. “Alright, alright! Don’t bite my head off!” She stood up and put her hands on her hips, giving Luna a lingering, suspicious glance. “Y’know, if this is some sorta surprise for Mylo, I’m gonna need a heads-up. I don’t wanna be caught in the crossfire.”

“It’s not for Mylo,” Luna muttered quickly, cheeks faintly pink.

“Ohhh,” Vi said dramatically, dragging the sound out. “Well, now I really wanna know what it is.”

“You’ll see later,” Luna said stubbornly, waving her hand dismissively. “Maybe.”

Vi rolled her eyes but crouched down again, her voice softening as she studied Luna’s expression. “You okay down here, though? You’ve been awfully quiet. Feels… weird without you running around making trouble.”

“I’m fine,” Luna answered quickly, though her focus didn’t waver. “I’m just… busy.”

Vi didn’t quite believe her, but there was no sadness in Luna’s voice or eyes—just that same determination she got whenever she was working on something important. With a small sigh, Vi straightened up again. “Alright. But promise me you won’t forget to eat, yeah?”

“Mmhm,” Luna hummed, already sifting through her box of coloured pencils like Vi had ceased to exist.

Vi shook her head with a small, fond smile as she headed back to the stairs. “Goblins gotta eat too, y’know,” she called over her shoulder, just loud enough for Luna to hear.

“I’m not a goblin!” Luna shouted back, though Vi swore she could hear the giggle that followed.

“Sure, sure,” Vi muttered with a grin, taking the steps two at a time. “But don’t blame me when you start growin’ pointy ears.”

Luna let out a exaggerated “Vi!” and the sound of Vi’s giggling was heard all the way she ran up the stairs.

Claggor came next. Luna was still at the little table, surrounded by the mess of pencils and scraps of paper, her head bent so low it was a wonder her nose wasn’t smudged with colour.

“Hey, Lu,” Claggor started, his voice calm and friendly as ever. “You sure you don’t wanna come outside? It’s warm out.”

“No,” came the short reply, muffled slightly as Luna leaned closer to her page, her tiny fingers gripping a dark brown pencil with fierce determination.

Claggor raised an eyebrow, not giving up so easily. “You’re missin’ the sun, y’know. It’s not gonna stick around forever.”

“Don’t care. I’m busy,” Luna replied firmly, her pencil pausing just long enough to emphasize her words.

Claggor took a step closer, crouching down to try to get a better look at her paper. “Yeah, I can see that. What’re you workin’ on, anyway?”

The reaction was immediate. Luna snapped her head up and threw an arm over her page, clutching it protectively against the table like a dragon guarding its hoard. Her wide eyes narrowed suspiciously.

“No looking!”

Claggor held his hands up in mock surrender, his face splitting into a small grin. “Alright, alright, no lookin’! Sheesh. You don’t gotta bite my head off.” He straightened back up, towering over her once more, and gave her an exaggerated frown. “I’m just makin’ sure you’re still alive down here.”

“I’m fine,” Luna said, the faintest hint of sass creeping into her tone. She picked up a pale blue pencil and went right back to her work, dismissing him entirely.

“…Want me to bring you somethin’, then?” Claggor offered after a beat, clearly unsure what else to say. “A snack? Some water?”

For the first time in their exchange, Luna paused. She lifted her head just enough to meet his gaze, the corners of her lips turning up into a sweet, disarming smile—one that only seemed to appear when she was about to get her way.

“No thanks!” she chirped, her voice as polite as could be. Then, just as quickly, she dropped her head and returned to her drawing, completely shutting him out once again.

Claggor blinked, caught somewhere between exasperation and amusement. He let out a small chuckle as he shook his head, muttering under his breath, “Suit yourself, kid,” before backing away. He gave the table one last glance, like he might somehow catch a glimpse of the elusive drawing, but Luna didn’t budge.

By midday, Mylo came stomping down the stairs with the kind of energy that suggested he had already lost one argument with Vi and wasn’t about to lose another—not without a fight. He skidded to a stop near Luna’s table, hands on his hips, and squinted down at her like he was assessing a particularly tricky puzzle.

“Alright, Lu,” he started, voice sharp with mock authority. “This has gone on long enough. You’re comin’ outside.”

Luna didn’t even glance up from her work, her pencil moving swiftly across the paper as if he wasn’t there at all. “No, I’m not.”

Mylo groaned, already frustrated. “You don’t even know what you’re missing! It’s warm, there’s sun, and Vi’s gonna let us play kickball in the alley. You love kickball!”

“I’m busy,” Luna replied, her voice cheerful and infuriatingly calm.

“Busy doin’ what?” Mylo demanded, stepping closer to peer over her shoulder.

“It’s a secret!” Luna shot back instantly, shifting in her seat so her arms could block more of her paper.

Mylo groaned again, louder this time, and threw his head back like he’d been personally victimized. “That’s not fair!”

“It’s perfectly fair,” Luna said matter-of-factly. “It’s my secret.”

“You’re gonna tell us eventually, though, right?” Mylo tried, leaning forward with a hopeful look.

“Nope.”

He threw his arms up in defeat. “Ugh! You can’t just lock yourself in the basement all day!”

“I can,” Luna said brightly, finally looking up at him with a smug little grin, “and I am.”

The confidence in her voice made Mylo’s eye twitch. “Fine! You know what?” He quickly shifted tactics, slipping into a tone he probably thought sounded persuasive. “If you come outside right now, I’ll let you pick first when we play cards later. You can pick any seat you want. Even Vi’s spot. Deal?”

Luna paused for the first time, her pencil hovering midair like she was actually considering it. Mylo held his breath, his face lighting up in anticipation.

But just as quickly, Luna shook her head and went back to her work. “No deal.”

“What?!” Mylo sputtered, clearly offended. “How is that not a good deal?!”

“Don’t wanna,” Luna said simply, as if that explained everything.

“You’re impossible,” Mylo huffed, pacing back and forth like he couldn’t believe he was losing this battle to a kid half his size. “Come on, what are you even doing that’s so important?”

“I told you, it’s a secret,” Luna said, her voice sing-song as she scribbled a bright yellow streak across her page.

“That’s not fair!” Mylo whined, throwing his arms up so dramatically it was a miracle he didn’t knock something over. “You can’t just ignore us all day and keep secrets!”

“I can,” Luna said again, this time with a tone that clearly said checkmate.

Mylo gaped at her, visibly at the end of his rope. “You know, someday, someone’s gonna tell you you’re too stubborn, Lu. And you know what you’re gonna do? You’re gonna ignore ‘em, just like you’re ignoring me right now.”

Luna finally looked up, the pencil stilling in her hand as she flashed him a mischievous, all-too-satisfied smile. “Probably.”

That did it. Mylo let out a dramatic groan, flopping onto the bottom step like all the energy had been drained from him. “This isn’t over, Lu,” he muttered, rubbing a hand over his face. “I’ll be back. You will break eventually.”

Luna, grinning smugly, waved him off with a little flick of her fingers, like she was dismissing a servant. “Goodbye, Mylo.”

He shot her a glare but didn’t bother responding. Instead, he dragged himself back up the stairs, loudly grumbling the whole way about “stubborn little sisters” and how he was “never offering her the first pick again.”

As soon as he was gone, Luna giggled quietly to herself, her pencil once again scratching across the page with unshakable focus.

Powder, being the last of the kids to try, approached Luna with far more caution than the others. Unlike Mylo’s dramatics or Claggor’s attempts at reason, Powder had the subtle approach of someone who knew how to get around people’s walls—especially Luna’s. She peeked into the basement first, her blue hair slipping into view before she followed, small and quiet.

Luna didn’t look up. She was too absorbed in her drawing, her brow furrowed in concentration as she carefully added a bright patch of pink. Powder crept closer, hands stuffed into the pockets of her worn coat, and hovered near the edge of the table.

“You’re still down here?” Powder asked softly, tilting her head as she studied Luna’s serious little face.

“Yep,” Luna replied, distracted, her pencil scratching away.

“…You missed lunch,” Powder pointed out, like it was a casual observation and not something Vander had sent her down to say.

Luna shrugged. “Not hungry.”

Powder made a thoughtful noise and sat down across from her, resting her chin in her hands as she tried to sneak a look at what Luna was doing. “What’s so important you’re staying in all day?”

Luna instantly dropped her arm over the drawing, glaring suspiciously. “It’s a secret.”

“Oh, a secret,” Powder said, like this was exciting news. Her face lit up, curiosity overtaking her. “Is it a good one?”

“The best one,” Luna replied smugly.

Powder bit her lip to keep from smiling too much and leaned in closer, lowering her voice like they were conspiring. “Will you tell me?”

“Nope.”

“What if I pinky swear not to tell anyone else?” Powder offered, holding out her hand.

Luna raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. “Nice try.”

Powder sighed dramatically, dropping her hand back to the table with a thud. “Well, I think you’re missing out,” she said, adopting her best nonchalant voice, though her blue eyes sparkled mischievously. “Me and Vi found a spot in the alley where the sun makes this huge warm patch. It’s perfect for sitting. And Mylo… he almost fell in a puddle earlier. You should’ve seen his face.”

That earned her a small snort of amusement from Luna, though the little girl quickly hid it behind her serious expression. Powder grinned triumphantly. “See? It’s fun out there.”

“I’m busy,” Luna insisted firmly, her pencil going back to work.

Powder hummed, watching her closely. Then, after a beat, she pulled out her trump card. “You know… if you come outside, I could show you where the pigeons are nesting on the roof.”

Luna paused. Her head shot up, eyes narrowing as if she were trying to figure out whether Powder was bluffing. “The roof?”

“Uh-huh,” Powder replied innocently, already pleased with herself. “And they have babies right now. All fluffy and everything.”

Luna hesitated, her pencil tapping against the paper. “How do you know?”

“I saw them, Ekko showed me” Powder said, like it was obvious. She leaned forward with a grin, voice soft and teasing. “But I’m not gonna show you unless you come outside.”

For a moment, it seemed like Luna might crack. She fidgeted, chewing on her lip as she considered the offer. But just when Powder thought she’d won, Luna gave a resolute shake of her head. “I can’t.”

“Why?” Powder groaned, slumping over the table like all her efforts had been for nothing.

“I told you—it’s important!” Luna said, exasperated, shielding her paper again.

Powder peeked up at her through a curtain of blue hair, defeated but still curious. “More important than baby pigeons?”

“Yes,” Luna said firmly, though she did sound a little regretful.

Powder sighed, finally accepting her loss. “Fine. But you’re still missing out.” She stood up slowly, brushing the dust off her knees, and gave Luna one last look. “You’ll tell us what you’re doing later, right?”

“Maybe,” Luna replied with a secretive grin, clearly enjoying keeping everyone guessing.

“You’re more stubborn than Mylo,” murmured Powder, leaving to go back with the others.

Finally, it was Vander’s turn.

His presence was announced before he even appeared—heavy footsteps creaking on the boards above, slow and deliberate, as if he was giving Luna time to realize he was coming. When he descended the stairs, it was in his usual way: solid, unhurried.

Luna’s head popped up briefly, just long enough to acknowledge him, before she ducked right back down, pencil scratching furiously across the page.

Vander stopped halfway down the stairs, resting his massive forearms on the railing as he tilted his head, watching her with a mix of amusement and concern. His brows furrowed slightly, though there was the faintest hint of a smile beneath his beard.

“Y’know, kid,” he started, his deep voice rumbling through the quiet basement, “when the entire house thinks somethin’s wrong, it’s usually ‘cause somethin’ is wrong.”

“I’m fine,” Luna replied, her tone drawn-out and exaggerated, as if she were rolling her eyes without actually doing it.

“Yeah?” Vander raised an eyebrow, his skeptical look clear even from across the room. “You sure about that?”

“Yes.” Luna didn’t even look up this time, pencil moving with absolute focus. After a beat, she added in a sweet, singsong voice, “I just need juice.”

“…Juice?” Vander repeated flatly, like he wasn’t sure he’d heard her right.

Luna finally glanced up, her big eyes peeking at him from under a curtain of hair. “Please,” she added innocently, the word practically dripping with charm as she batted her lashes for emphasis.

Vander let out a low, gruff chuckle, shaking his head in defeat. “Juice, huh?” he muttered, though his voice carried no real resistance. “Fine. But you’re getting a sandwich too. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you didn’t show up for lunch, young lady.”

“Okay,” Luna chirped happily, her attention already back on her drawing.

Vander lingered for a moment, still watching her with that mix of curiosity and fatherly concern before turning back to the stairs. “Don’t think I’m gonna let you starve yourself just ‘cause you’re bein’ stubborn,” he said over his shoulder as he ascended.

“Not starving!” Luna called back, though Vander was already halfway up, muttering something under his breath that sounded suspiciously like kids.

True to his word, Vander returned about ten minutes later. He carried a glass of juice in one hand and a thick sandwich stacked high with meat and cheese in the other, just how he knew she liked it. Despite his large, heavy build, he set them beside her with a surprising gentleness, careful not to disturb her paper or pencils.

“Here. Juice and food.” He straightened up and loomed slightly, leaning just enough to sneak a glance at what she was working on. “So, what’s—?”

“No looking!” Luna yelped, flinging an arm over her paper and scowling up at him like he’d just committed the greatest betrayal.

Vander stepped back immediately, holding up both hands like she had him at wandpoint. “Alright, alright! Hands off. Just curious, is all.”

Luna huffed in satisfaction, giving him a look that clearly said you should know better, before returning to her drawing like nothing had happened.

Vander’s smirk returned as he folded his arms over his chest, still watching her. “Don’t forget to eat, artiste,” he teased, his voice laced with fondness.

“I won’t,” Luna replied without looking up, already reaching for the sandwich with her free hand while still holding the pencil with the other.

Vander shook his head, the smile lingering on his face as he backed away. “You’re somethin’ else, kid. Don’t work too hard.”

He turned and climbed the stairs once more, leaving Luna to her mysterious masterpiece. Before he reached the top, he called back, “And if you need anything else, don’t send Mylo after me, got it?”

“Got it!” Luna giggled, clearly pleased with herself.

Vander shook his head one last time, muttering to himself as he disappeared from sight. “She’s got me wrapped around her finger, that one…”

By the time the sun dipped low and shadows crept into the basement, Luna finally looked up from her page. Her hand ached, and her fingers were stained with pencil marks, but a satisfied smile spread across her face.

She carefully gathered up her masterpiece and marched up the stairs, determination in every step.

The others were gathered in the bar, sweaty and dusty from their day outside. Vi and Mylo were arguing over cards, Powder was sprawled out under a table fiddling with scraps of metal, and Claggor was wiping grease off his hands. Vander leaned against the bar, taking a rare quiet moment to sip his drink.

The door creaked as Luna appeared, holding a large piece of paper against her chest.

“I’m done!” she announced.

Everyone froze.

With great ceremony, Luna turned the huge page around and held it up for everyone to see.

The drawing was big, sprawling, and colourful. Many pieces of paper taped together. Smudges and uneven colouring filled every inch of the page, but it was unmistakably a family portrait.

At the centre was Vander, drawn taller than anyone else, with an exaggerated square jaw and big arms that stretched wide as though hugging everyone. Beside him were Vi, Mylo, Claggor, and Powder, each labelled carefully in big block letters. Luna had clearly taken care to add small details—Vi’s bright pink hair, Claggor’s goggles, Mylo’s messy scowl, and Powder holding a half-built gadget. Luna herself stood at Vander’s side, clutching her stuffed fox. Above them, in wobbly letters, she’d written: MY FAMILY.

For a moment, nobody said anything.

“Aw, Lu,” Vi murmured, her face softening as she stood to get a closer look.

“Is that supposed to be me?” Mylo asked, pretending to sound grumpy, though his cheeks were a little pink. “Why do I look so mad?”

“Because you’re always mad,” Powder said, giggling. “Luna, you have to teach me how to draw like this!” she beamed.

Claggor grinned broadly. “This is great, Lu. You really worked hard on this, huh?”

Luna nodded proudly. “It’s for all of us.”

Vander stepped forward, crouching to her level. He took the drawing gently, his rough fingers careful not to smudge it. For a long moment, he just looked at it, his face unreadable. Then he smiled—a real, genuine smile that crinkled the corners of his eyes.

“This is somethin’ special, kid,” he said softly. “We’re gonna hang this up right here in the bar. How’s that sound?”

Luna’s face lit up, and she bounced on her toes. “Really?”

“Really.”

With a nod, Vander grabbed a small hammer and a nail. The others watched as he found a place on the wall behind the bar, right where everyone could see. A few taps later, the drawing was up, slightly crooked but glowing with colour and love.

Luna beamed, stepping back to admire it with the others.

“Now everybody’ll know,” she said matter-of-factly.

“Know what?” Mylo asked.

“That we’re a family.”

Vi slung an arm around her, pulling her close with a grin. “Always and forever, little goblin.”

As the others gathered around, teasing and admiring the picture, Vander leaned back against the bar, arms crossed and a wide, proud smile on his face.

For all the chaos, all the noise and trouble they brought, this—this—was what made it all worth it.

The Concept Phase

I started with rough concepts—playing with her face, hair....

From the beginning, I imagined her as a dominatrix type. So I started researching dominatrix aesthetics and the BDSM scene in the 1960s to keep things around the era of Outlast Trials

Eventually, I landed on her final outfit. It’s… yeah, it’s way too modern for the exact year the game takes place, but guess what? It’s fiction and I allow myself those little "mistakes". She’s still wearing black, tight, shiny, sexy-looking gear, and that’s what matters :b

Before I even tackled her lore, I did some of outfit doodles, explored body types, poses, and facial expressions. I wanted her to feel designed to seduce and built to dominate :b

Design-Wise

Raquel is designed to look like a dominatrix, instantly readable as BDSM-coded (not so popular/well seen in the 60s) She’s meant to be attractive, meant to drag people closer just to do the worst things imaginable. She’s a lust demon in human form- The embodiment of temptation and punishment.

I did try to stick to the time period where I could—but her essence took priority over historical accuracy---

Lore-Wise

Listen. This is Outlast. She’s NOT a good person. (And don’t come crying to me about this.)

Yes, Raquel had a shitty life. Yes, she was abused as a child. But that doesn’t excuse what she became. And what she became is a genuine monster--- She’s narcissistic, controlling, manipulative—she’s killed, abused, and smiled through it all- She’s evil. But I’d still let her ruin me :p Like all Prime Assets, Raquel isn’t innocent. She knows exactly what she’s doing. And worse—she enjoys it.

Questions I Asked Myself While Designing Her:

Why am I making her? - Because I needed to see a dangerously beautiful woman doing the most vile things imaginable.

What about the outfit? - Leather. Vinyl. Latex. All black, all shiny. I want her tall and terrifying. I want people to walk toward her and regret it instantly.

Backstory? - Childhood abuse, hunger for the spotlight, refusal to share it, and crimes that made her infamous. She’s not redeemable. She doesn’t want to be, I dont want her to be.

Now… Let’s Talk About Moda

Moda is my Reagent OC, and I explored so many concepts before landing on the version I love. I made a bunch of character sheets, scrapped ideas, tweaked, rewrote until she just clicked

For the most part, Moda is literally my in-game Reagent-- I’ve been using her since the beginning, and she’s gone through several lore stages

At first, she was going to be a housewife who ran away from an abusive home and hid inside Murkoff.

Then I toyed with the idea of her being lobotomized and thrown into the Trials.

But in the end, I decided she shouldn’t have a backstory at all. She doesn’t even remember her real name after all

Why? Because that felt right for her. She’s not a mystery to unravel, she's just here. Loud, weird, and deeply chaotic.

Design-Wise

Moda's look is meant to show the absurdity of the Trials-- goofy, almost unserious in her point of view. She’s not designed to make you feel bad for her. She's designed out of love and silliness :b

She’s basically me during gameplay. Her obsession with bricks? That was me. The way she just vibes through carnage? Also me. I wanted to bottle that energy and give it form ^^

"Hi Y/n, i see you've been looking at me and hesistating about something, is there something i can help you with?"

You shyly told him that you were struggling with chemistry homework and he didn't think twice in helping you.

"Sure! Here, let me see. I'll read it first then i'll explain it to you."

You see him nodding and humming as he scan through the pages of your notebook.

Believe it or not WITHIN 5 MINS. he suddenly closed the notebook and said "Alright, i see what your homework is about. Sit here beside me, i'll show you" while showing you a wide warm smile.

Mans a VISUAL LEARNER (he asked if it was okay for him to write on the back of your notebook - ofc you said yes)

He draws and writes things on the back of your note book and literally creates a framework guide for you to understand the concept of the lesson.

"Do you understand it better now?" (he won't mind to go over it again)

You easily understood what he taught you and you were amazed by how this man just made it easy like that. (Yes, effortlessly like that)

You thanked him and offered something to give him but he stopped you from there.

"No need y/n, I'm glad i was able to help you. Really, i mean it. You don't have to give anything" (but if you insist, i bet you he would agree eating ice cream with you after class - he ofc brings Kenma with him)

"If you're struggling with any homework, you can ask me or ask kenma. No worries, glad to be of help."

Didn't notice you at first cause he's busy playing video games.

"Oh Y/n, sorry i was kinda busy- what can i do for you?"

He's just sitting there looking up at you, gameboy in hand.

When you told him you were gonna ask for help with regards to the homework (he tried to hide it but he was flustered & flattered that you thought he was THAT good that you asked him for help yourself) he just nodded and offered to take a look at your notebook.

He silently scanned through the pages and after a while he explained the concept to you.

The way he explained it was so detailed that you felt like your brain was overwhlemed with the information but at the same time you learned a lot from him.

"Do you understand the concept now? If not i can send you a file with a complete guide in it. I made it myself, if you need any other notes you can tell me." (he really made NOTES everytime he and kuroo studied cause he doesn't wanna ask kuroo again - best believe this man has COMPLETE notes)

He showed a small smile when you thanked him and you offered to buy him ice cream but he suggested another idea instead "An apple pie would great though, but you don't really have to give me anything. It's alright y/n"

You insisted - you ended up eating apple pie with kenma and he tagged Kuroo along (Kuroo is eating ice cream)

When you checked your notifications when you got home, he literally ended up sending you ALL OF HIS NOTES. He attached a message saying:

Whisper! Is my little alien girl! She’s of unknown age and was found in the hull of a spaceship, a curious young thing who loooooves climbing on stuff and is basically a cat in her behaviour. From sitting on high places to the curious need to swat at anything she doesn’t understand. She’s got some pretty broken English because she’s still learning and her little fangs give her a lisp. I love her she’s baby and now basically my mascot!

Meet Lillian the remnant of my short lived miraculous lady bug phase.. she’s a 14 year old girl who just transferred to a new town to be closer to the hospital. She’s got a pretty bad immune system causing her to be rather frail and get tired very quickly. Having spent a lot of her childhood in a hospital bed she’s determined to make a fresh start. Her health has been stable and she doesn’t need to travel as far anymore and the school nearby is very disability accessible SO SHE GETS TO GO TO SCHOOL!

In the story her health swings a ton thanks to a magic paper bird granting her the power to become a magical girl to save the world! But it does come with the price of exhaustion. She will have to learn to balance both sides of herself as she makes both friends and enemies!

She

The 4 champions chosen by the moon goddess herself the benevolent 4 who started it all

They have some hinted lore in their art fight bio’s ehehehe

But i can get into them a little bit here!

CIRCE!

The benevolent high priestess of the children of dragons,

Her people reign over the tops of mountains and the depths of canyons, skilled gliders

She was chosen by the moon as the representative of her people as both an elegant but emotional woman knowing her decisions would not be as cold hearted as her father’s. She’s infatuated by the wizard fallis but her heart strongly beats for the more gruff Jaecar (i ship them so bad and they weren’t even supposed to be canon lol)

JAECAR

The general of a big pack of childeren of the wolves he was chosen to represent the people for his determination but kind heart. A strong leader who knows how to protect what he loves.

Jaecar got his position at a young age after being pushed forward as a young man to stand up against the leader of their traveling town, people thought he’d turn cold after the loss of his eye but his kindness persevered. He’s one to start a fight if he believes he’s in the right causing the others quite a scare but he basically turns into a golden retriever when he’s not under pressure.

He wishes to share his determination with circe as she’s pushing through the complications of her people’s views on her. (And they will kiss.. EY WHO SAID THAT)

ARIEL

chosen by the moon for her relaxed view upon life she brings her calming energy to any debate

Her people roam the waters as the children of the ocean, often far apart the small communities always welcome the young explorer in their mits. She’s very in tune with the emotions of others and wishes to protect them at all costs, often comforting Circe, laughing alongside Jaecar… and keeping an eye on the young Fallis

Her views upon the moon aren’t always as positive as the others.

FALLIS

A young man who had always looked highly upon the moon goddess, seeking her guidance in his craft of healing. He doesn’t believe in violence living a pacifist life. Always putting others before himself.

When the moon chose him the represent the children of the deer he saw it as the greatest honor, he followed the goddess closely and she took a strong liking to the mortal boy. But.. she would never help him in his pursuit of peace and health for everyone, he never understood why she’d try to hold him back when she bestowed him with a gift that was supposed to heighten his abilities. And that feeling… can grow to resentment over time…

The fact that this is the second time Rei has shared these opinions on their account about being pro-whitewashing has gotten me tired. I am posting these opinions on my Tumblr as I have the most reach here cause I am blocked my the majority of the Obey Me community on Twitter.

This rant is specifically about Rei and people who think like Rei, and not the Japanese artist who did this, because I do not care what actions they took afterwards, I am just tired of this pattern in this fandom and many other fandoms. Also I do not believe in respectability politics so I am going to be honest as fuck. I am tired of this shit.

First of all, if yall wanna read the thread yourself , no one was attacking/harassing the Japanese artist for whitewashing Mammon as stated by @/planettemarte. I also don't condone harassing ANY artists for making mistakes like these. It's always a different can of worms in situations like these because some artists will fix their change, some artists don't, and then there's some artists who are annoyed and let racist opinions spew after. It's always different each time. No artist should get death threats or doxxed for this.

I am so tired of people worshipping Japanese artists while also infantilizing them by saying "they didn't know any better". Bullshit. They are clearly aware; they use the same internet we do and play the same game we do. There are multiple cards in game where Mammon, Simeon and Diavolo have dark brown skin. They just choose to ignore that and focus on the cards that depict these three with the lightest skin tone possible.

Green people do not fucking exist. They are not a race, and nobody is drawing Mammon green.

Not just in Obey me, but it feels like 'dark skin' is just an optional trait of a character. I just don't understand it because most Japanese artists I've seen draw close to canon as much as possible. So, when they see a visibly brown character, this specific crowd (not all Japanese artists do this) will make them gray or beige.

I am just tired of fandoms platforming artists who continue to be colorist about brown skinned characters. Why is it so hard to use a darker brown? I've seen these same artists shade brown hair, trees, and even chocolate for Valentine's day or White day. Lighting doesn't cause a dark skinned person to become sour cream white, thats fucking bullshit.

The main reason why this is more than just whitewashing is because opinions like these make brown skin and darkskin people of color not feel welcomed in the fandom. People who think like Rei don't listen to actual poc voices. They pick and choose the ones that agree with them and disregard everyone else as "keyboard warriors" and being butthurt.

Y'all will platform an artist who draws all the dateables the color of sour cream, y'all use AAVE when talking to people, and use memes & meme audios made from marginalized dark skinned folks (specifically black people) and then wonder why some artists & fans have left Obey me. If y'all call yourselves "allies", you're doing a horrible job. It's because of shit like this, saying "be greatful that these artists have drawn this for us", I'm not fucking greatful for that, Why are they scared of the fucking color brown?

Call me a SJW, but honestly I don't fucking understand how these people play a gay ass game like Obey Me with inclusive dateables, and a gender neutral MC and not be woke at all. Look I know I was all over the place with these points and that I am not the best debater/talker/whatever this is to say these points in the most "correct" way, I guess but-

It should make you upset that another artist is erasing the representation in the game for the white-centered beauty standard (specifically talking about the color, not the race). What is the point of having brown characters and then certain artists drawing them white, and then folks like Rei berate the people who call those artists out on it?

The last thing I want to say is look at the difference between whitewashing and "blackwashing". Whitewashing is ALWAYS out of hate and malice because the artist doesn't want to depict ethic features, curly hair, and or darker skin. It is made to erase those features and keep the beauty standard in mind.

"Blackwashing" is always out of love, because there is little representation of poc characters in media. People draw their faves as their race because they see themselves in that character, and want to share their culture with that character. "Blackwashing" has never been used to get rid of existing Japanese or any other culture's representation. Biracial Japanese people exist.

pre-travel project updates + sketch dump

As the title implies this post is simply going to be giving updates on my projects before I'm away for 2 weeks, also because I know I haven't posted much in the last month and hence haven't given smaller post updates, bleh. Skip this post if you want.

Mechanical Butterfly - renamed from Mechanized Butterfly on my older posts to make it roll off the tongue better and also a partial reference to this song. I had said in previous post(s?) that this project was going to be a game. Uh well basically this is not happening anymore lol. It's going to be a comic, and the sketch above is for the cover of the first chapter (covers will be in color, pages will be black and white). Anyways before people call me a wuss for not following through because I'm a bad programmer (which I am to be clear). The reason I'm making that change is because as I have developed the plot since I initially decided to make this story back in November, the story has become much more linear, and I think it'll work best as a comic. Now I still really really wanna do a ps1 style game, so making Miriam's model was not a waste as it was good practice. So yeah. I have about 4 pages of script written (which yes is not a lot,,,) but I have more in my head and it will be worked on.

UTYHH - Episode 4 finally released! Yippie! This episode was the 2nd worst to make, with ep2 taking the cake for being the worst because that one had just a shit ton more bullshit going on. However this episode had some issues and hence took like a few weeks longer than it probably would have just due to a lot of people being unavailable. Anyways, the script for episode 5 has been started, it's like 3-4 scenes written of like at least 15. It make take awhile longer than usual because I'm traveling, but I mean there will still be content because Daniel is cooking up other stuff for the series.

My games - So I have like 4 game concepts knocking around in my head, and since I am 'canceling' MB as a video game I don't wanna confirm what I will be working on lmao, I need to learn to pipe down. I will announce what I'm doing next officially once I have like substantial progress. You can take this shitty blender screen cap though.

oh also, I won't say much now because it's not my place to say, but I'm making art for @witchscadence 's upcoming game. It'll be cool. Trust chat. Play her other games.

UTHH redesigns - This is something I really want to return to because while the og Undertale Halloween Hack designs are alright, if I'm gonna be honest I frankly think the redesigns are awful and the Underfell Halloween Hack designs are not much better. So far I've done Mysteryman, Raine, Paz and Nuzzles. A main reason why I haven't done more is because I'm less familiar with the other characters. All I know at the moment is for my Trapjaw redesign is that he is going to have a sort of military theme based off his og design and I'm dropping the whole Xigaurd thing. So anyways. Enjoy my pen sketches

Other - People may ask why I did not make a drawing commemorating the new Deltarune chapters after I even did a shitty one for the second coming of the Spamton sweepstakes, and uhhh. The answer is I started one based on Elfen Lied's open Lilium. However art block hit me like Asgore's truck. So yeah. Here is the wip, I might finish it.

art block was really my theme the last month and it's why I didn't get a ton finished. I was honestly just very frustrated because I felt my art wasn't looking good, my programming wasn't coming a long as I've never really used a proper engine before now, and lastly we all know I'm very new to 3D art. Also I get very self conscious when I write, so that never helps me. However I took Cass' advice to basically just chill tf out lol. so I took some time to play Catjam and watch Saikano and I felt a lot better (And also Weezer music helped???). Oh and a Catjam play through is coming when I get back. I was going to release it before I left but I'm like 90% sure I accidentally left out a good section of the game so like, because the game is like maybe 3 hours long I'll probably just start over. I'm mainly doing a playthrough to spread the word about the game because it's super underrated looool, please play it. Anyways. Please look forward to the stuff I have coming, I love Toby Fox but I don't wanna be known as just the Toby Fox guy lol.

Yeah so I’ve been replaying Moon and wanted to try my hand at drawing anthro Pokémon since I don’t really do that…and then I was like Woah this is pretty fun and kinda went crazy whoops. UHH here’s the two pages that started it all

First page we got some random Sylveons that made me wanna kms bc I love Sylveon but can’t draw it WAAAAHHHHHH CRIES. But yeah anyways Espeon, Umbreon and Eevee are here too they’re so silly. And the second OOOO BOY they’re the ones that really made me go crazy designing shit. Here’s a Jolteon and Allan Raichu I made because hehe jock x cheerleader pokémon yuri would be cute. I love them sm they’re so silly…gotta actually name ‘em later- Been calling this Raichu Dawn (named after my actual Raichu in my current Moon playthrough teehee)

Dawn as Pikachu + her fuckass family members I randomly invented muahaha. She’s still young but evolved by accident like a dumbass so her brother evolved too to match her teehee. Probably got a Very stern talking to from their parents after that who knows- Dawn is the only named one btw I’m so sorry girl your siblings and their friends are nameless💔

The previously mentioned Vulpix and Torracat were just random at first but have now been repurposed woohoo‼️ Vulpix is Alolan Vulpix now and kind of a prissy asshole who would get epic character development later n stuff (wow I love weiss schnee)

Them as adults bc I felt silly…they might have an epic yuri moment who knows. And why yes Torracat/Incineroar is in fact a girl…butch Incineroar is based I think

AND LASTLYYYYY here is Dawn’s little sister once again, and her bestie Igglybuff + them evolved because fun hehe. I didn’t expect to love them as much as I did but it was a welcome surprise >:)

Also looking up the in-game heights is fascinating- You can see Jigglypuff got progressively larger because I did Not know it’s actually taller than Pikachu lmao😭

Long post about future art plans under the cut!!

so, as you all know, my current project that I post the most about is my platinum nuzlocke. well, I actually beat the game like two years ago and it's been a slow process of drawing the comic to completion. however, as a serial novelty seeker off the high of one nuzlocke, I immediately moved to playing the next. given the positive reception to platinum, I thought I'd do another full comic; the tentative "two year" mark I set on my  grimoire drawing was because I thought platinum would be done by then, but breaks (had some busy semesters at uni) have made that ummmm clearly not happen

thinking I'd learn from what I thought were "mistakes", I wanted to enter alpha sapphire more prepared from the outset (have a complete story before even drawing the first comic pages, etc.) than I was previous projects; platinum expanded beyond my original intention but upon reflection, I actually loved this process. it was sometimes messy, but the project felt active and alive. it shifted as I wrote, drew, and shared it with everyone. I found the more "proactive" approach I was taking with alpha sapphire to be killing my motivation for it entirely; nuzlockes at their core are pretty dynamic, and I was planning for my interest at the outset to be maintained until the point I was finally able to start it, which hasn't been the case. starting it while still focused on platinum was a mistake on my part and I got ahead of myself. then I began to wonder, given the span of platinum, if I even actually wanted to commit to another full nuzlocke comic (which would take years, just as platinum has) given nuzlockes are not the only thing I draw. 

we arrive to the main dilemma. I have lots of ocs outside of gijinkas. if I'm going to be proactive, it'd probably be with them. I have stories and concepts that I keep the extensive details of, more or less, between myself and friends. I only have so much time to draw, and I have to seriously ask myself if another nuzlocke comic is something I want to put my energy into because, thus far, doing my nuzlocke has taken time from me working on other oc stuff. do I want to keep focusing on new nuzlockes right now, as that is the niche I've built, or do I want to shift attention to the other projects I occasionally post about on here? even within my existing gijinkas, I have a lot I can expand upon, rather than start something completely new. 

I'm not completely motivated by attention (if I was id probably draw more fan art) but I still love feedback and interaction, and really want to make stuff people can enjoy; I've wondered about if anyone would be interested in my other projects if I were to work on them more publicly. they clearly get less engagement (and to be fair, so do my gijinkas compared to fan art), but I also know I don't make an effort to promote myself & should definitely make a new habit of reblogging my own work. I'd appreciate feedback on this message if you're interested in seeing what I do moving forward!!

so...will alpha sapphire happen? simple answer is: I don't know, as of now. I might shrink its scope and do something with it, or maybe my desire for something full will return. I paused my actual playthrough of it until I figured it out because if I do decide to do something, I wanna go back to the more spontaneous process that worked for me with platinum. we'll see what happens.

Project KHRe(:born!!!)

@amiahoshi (Sou) and I decided to call the project "Katekyo Hitman Re:born!!!"*. We call it either Re:born!!! or KHRe for short. This is my main brainworm cultivating mega-project that has several sub-projects under it (including the webcomic). Anyway, read below for more details on this project!

*Note: Inspired from T/oky/o Gh/oul's title, where it had "T/G:re". And it really just emphasizes the "Re" in "Reborn", meaning "again, do over" - mainly since it's a retelling. MOST importantly...it's very easy to remember for me and my goldfish brain.

So far, the major ambitious projects I have under this are as follows:

Oniyanagi Wiki

This is a wiki site I made in Miraheze and I have already set it to public, so you can visit it through this link (or the one I linked above in the OC Profile section).

All characters/items/stories information related to KHRe is planned to be compiled here bit by bit, including certain canon characters (due to the inevitable canon divergence).

I learned a lot from making this wiki.

KHRe Webcomic

A webcomic that features KHRe's story. KHRe is sort of a similar universe to canon, but not exactly the same. There will be additional characters, which are our OCs, then there will also be modifications/additions to the story/lore as well (e.g. certain arcs/chapters will be rearranged, certain events will happen earlier).

Tsuna retains his protagonist role in KHRe as well (I'm so fond of him, my 2nd fave...), but he will also be joined in this role by the twin bosses from Oniyanagi, Kana and Kurumi.

Just like canon, it starts with Daily Life Arc. I will draw chapters for as far as I can get into the story. One of my main goals in making this webcomic (besides being able to draw both KHR and OC art at the same time) is to improve my art.

Into the Looking Glass

This is a Horror RPGMaker game that features a prequel story for KHRe through Kurumi's childhood (around 8-9 years old). Long story short, it does follow the classic formula of a kid exploring a scary place by themselves.

The title is very much still subject to change, but I referenced Alice in Wonderland for it. Because it's Baby Kurumi (Alice) stumbling in an otherworldly place (Wonderland) and the events that take place moving forward changes her life.

This will take a very long time to complete, but I wanna finish it eventually because I'm also a big fan of Horror RPGMaker games and I've always wanted to make one.

KHRe Test Game (no title yet)

Yes...that's right. I'm editing this now after three months and still no title. 👍

This will be a very short RPGMaker Game with Tsuna as MC and it's definitely less ambitious than the previous two listed here. This is just me testing and learning the features of RPGMaker before I go do more work for Into the Looking Glass.

The game is just about Tsuna being invited to the Ninomiya Estate by Kurumi and he has a very "fun" time there 😂👍✨ (just like a normal Daily Life Arc episode~). It won't be horror, but maybe for Tsuna it will be 😀.

Other Projects

As for other projects that are even more less ambitious and more doable in a shorter time, I do have MV Projects for KHRe plus a few shorts (like this one) I plan on drawing them in. I listed my priorities here (along with the major projects I mentioned) and will try to update when I can (at least monthly).

Here are the typed numbered points, final thoughts at the end DISCLAIMER: I used a Sonic ref page from GAMING 2019 to help with mapping and finding out what features match up with the guide lines. I think this is perfectly okay to do for LEARNING purposes like this one.

1. His hair is based off of fresh hair growing after a shave. The Awkward Phase™ 2. I'm terrible with front view shoes >.< 3. Ear tufts! 4. Marks are just slanted rectangles. 5. I will avoid drawing more hands than needed LMAO 6. Based off of a standard sneaker design. 7. Fluffy tail! 8. (Dot) Points of interest. 9. I like the tuft going back this far. 10. Faded and non-faded symbol of Phenthoma's(Fen-tohm-ah) lab. 11. Phenthoma lab symbol on the back of glove. Just the left glove. 12. Phenthoma is a character that is no longer living. A vital part of Elliot's past. We hate her. >:( 13. A design will be here in time! 14. In the short 30 min. that I have been desigining and mapping, I've already figured out how the torso is shaped. If you struggle, I highly rec mapping the characters. EXTENDED: I was still on the first pose when I did this and this genuinely helped me visualize where to put what parts where. 15. Triangles and squares are your best friends! 16. I HATE this angle!! 17. Anything to avoid hands 💅 18. In the mapping pic, you can see I'm much more comfy without too many shapes. EXTENDED: By this time, I already knew how to make the torso and how to position the arms and tuft. The head and body are very much oddly proportional. I believe the reason why we believe it's not is because of how large Sonic and others' quills are because Amy doesn't really have this issue. It works though and I wouldn't have the characters any other way. 19. I wanted to convey that Elliot is VERY fluffy hence the tufts of fur everywhere. EXTENDED: I know this sounds obvious, but I based Elliot off of those giant fluffy wolves that I just wanna hug. Elliot could easily be a pillow for anyone with all his fluff. He is definitely the type to look bigger when dry, but the second he is dunked in water, he looks like a very skinny wet rat. Think of those fluffy cats that look big but shrink SO MUCH when they get a bath LMAO 20. I now know my problem angles, but also how to use non-Sonic ref pics for bigger and better pieces! :D Now, my final thoughts: This was incredibly helpful! I never was really good with Sonic anatomy and I always struggled with it. I love how I was able to find my problem areas and improve on them in such a short amount of time. I want to do bigger pieces with Elliot, but at the moment, I have no plans on writing anything around this character other than the needed empty spots in the lore(THE LORE!!!). Such as Phentoma's full story and how Dean, Elliot's first love, died by Phen's hands. If there is any interest in this then I can answer some questions about the story. Though, warning, Elliot might be a very boring character. Here's some tidbits: He doesn't have the rage of someone who has lost a lot, even though he has, indeed, lost a lot. He's let it go with time. He values maturity in approaching situations with understanding instead of violence or raising his voice. He doesn't like to fight even though he is more than capable. He collects silly things and is hard to aggravate. He's kind and caring, even to those he knows have hurt him or others. He's just a project that was successful and that cost him everything. He hates stargazing, but loves to see the stars in people's eyes when they speak about something they're passionate about. He doesn't mind if his body is submerged in water, but he will not submerge his head. I think that's enough droning on. Even though there's more, I feel like this post is long and intimidating enough to read. Intimidating in the sense of just how much there is. Anyway, please tell me about your Sonic ocs if you have them! I LOVE to learn about other's ocs and how many cool concepts there are!

Mutuals Mutuals Come one COME ALL!!!

Put your various sona's and appendages together for the unveiling of a lil' something I've been working on while being distracted from animating Dame Aylin's wings (Its long, hard, fun as all hell but the concentration required to do so seems physically impossible for a beast of my genus)

I drew all my moots tavs/pseudo-companions!!! It took a bit, but it was well worth it! Everyone's design is so unique and fun to figure out. (10 is a big number of moots)((which I am very grateful to have :3)) So without Further Ado!!! (there will be so much more Ado):

First of all is Sivvus the Fey Prince (he/him)! This elusive Eladrin Tav belongs to @thedomesticanthropologist! A gorgeous yet seemingly cold-hearted druid who tends to keep his cards close to his chest. Though if you want the challenge you can see for yourself if you can try and get close to him to see if Sivvus is as closed off as he seems to be. To be quite honest, Sivvus really grew on me. A very fancy Eladrin with a high society (fey society) upbringing ( with very good looking mood boards to match) and the like only for him to be thrust into the bg3 world with a worm to boot. He is charming! Also his backstory? <3 Defienetly go read it! 10/10 would draw the snob again :)

Second off we have Gum (He/They)! A Githyanki Cleric of Mystra. Being @piipaw's Tav you'd find this charming fruit lover trying to live a peaceful life after escaping from the creche that raised them. I like Gum a lot as the concept of a githyanki trying to find their own way in Faerun while also having no idea about any of the social customs is very gripping to me. I recommend greatly to check out the blog for Gum fics, fanart and a very cool moot . :)

Next is H'rayn of Verkos (she/her)! Now different from all the character's I drew, H'rayn is not a Tav! She's actually a pseudo-companion character with a lotta lore and history! She even has her own quest, party banter, approval and disapproval things. It's the whole deal!! @githkisser made an amazing post all about H'rayn . If you want a ton of indepth and fun info that's really really well documented, I cannot overstate how much you should it check out! I find myself going back to learn more about H'rayn as she really is as well thought out as in game companions! It's quite fun thinking up of ways tavs can interact with her and the art is mwah!!! very good indeed :3

4th! Tavern (Tav) the Bard! (they/them) This darling bard ran away from the circus.....from birth! Created by @avocado-writing, Tavern plays their way into your heart with their silly antics, warm heart and eldritch pocket dimension in their chest!

Tavern is a doll to doodle and I am amped to draw them even more in the future. The heterochromia and the inclusion of instruments does make them a fun challenge (i will draw instruments accuratley with these paws eventually). Go check them out!! :D

5th! Hvinidyr the Barbarian (he/him)! @star-bear-art (I just realised after all this we aren't actually mutuals. Which is funny since we kinda have the same name and theme with the bear thing XD) If you wanna see wonderous art of Hvinidyr as well as the other companions, go look right over here!

Winnie (Hvinidyr) has a lot of forms depending on the time period you wanna look at. The one I chose was the most recent with the large scar tissue all over the left (right? I'm horrible at directions, my paws don't make an L shape for me to tell). He was really fun to sketch out (and probably later colour in) and has a really unique design that I appreciate :)

6th Vierlin the Enchantment Wizard (and a lil' bit rouge)!!!(she/her) @sybaritick's Tav!!! Now!! This classic drow has a keen intrest in enchantment magic, teaching her crafts to nobles in Amn. After the whole tadpole fiasco, she also finds another use for her multitude of arcane skills. Most notabley depicted with a local wizard.

Now I won't get ahead of myself here but the fics that Sybaritick wrote about Vierlin are like....licking a warm pan of thickened maple syrup or a fancy meat meal with so much demi-glaze you're left smacking your lips for at least 20 mins after eating. Its indulgent. And I couldn't recommend it enough!! Read it!! (it took me a good 8 times to get the 'ie' part of Vierlin's name right, the letters look the same to me)

7th Fink the Spores Druid (they/them) belonging to @causticcontemplation! They're a pretty short Tav a 2.5ft and have a whole modern AU fic about them!!! You can read all about it here! (the pun name is amazing!)

I found it cool to use the fic to figure out how to colour them in, I ended up sending an anon ask instead and it helped great! Lovely Tav 10/10!

8th Korydass the Druid!! (She/her)!!! Conjured by @cfcreative, this seemingly non-emotive bronze dragonborn lights a spark in viewers as her tail and love for nature portrays otherwise. Art of Kory is many and also very good. Reading through her lore is fun watching her dynamics with the different origin characters change as she opens up to the party.

Now I do have slight bias, I like drawing Kory the most since her head shape is less humanoid. It's just so satifying, also her design is crazy awesome to work with so all around its great recommend I like her a lot :3

9th Asheera the Paladin (she/her) produced by @optiwashere.

To be quite honest I wouldn't even have a blog if it wasn't for Asheera's fics. They are EXCELLENT. If you want to go through a journey of a half orcs struggles, successes and gripping romance with Shadowheart, VAULT YOURSELF into Opti's A03 page and devour. You will have negative regrets about it just like I! Asheera is great I love her a lot I am the most normal about her.

This darling plucky bard is the star of an ongoing comic that is very dynamic and very gripping. (My fave panel is this one). Despite being 100, Quin still maintains his joyful and kind nature when traveling with the tadpole gang.

Definetly one of the most friendlies Tavs out of all the ones i've drawn. (he was also the first i drew out of all of these!) He's a delight!! Go check him out! Thanks to all my moots for giving permission, having such great characters and being such lovely moots! <3 <3 <3

tl;dr is I want to publish my stories either traditionally or as self-publish, but understand how much harder it’ll be without a following of some kind or something else to garner interest in my stories. For now, I want to try authoring a webcomic/manga/comic/etc… of one (or more) of my stories to garner interest and finances to start working on my other projects full time.

I would want an artist who is just as passionate as I am as I cannot afford to pay anyone right now.

This would be an unpaid passion project with the eventually hope of monetization.

So, if any of that interested you, here’s the full project:

I want to work on something that is aimed at a female audience. Something like Obey Me! Meets Love and Deepspace. I already have everything written, plotted, and even have amateur concepts of all the characters. I would need someone who is actually skilled and passionate about drawing to help me in making proper character art as well as possibly making a series out of it.

A brief description of the synopsis is this:

a reverse harem with a competent and realistic main character who struggles with anxiety. Imagine having anxiety and ten attractive people are all interested in dating you, that would be lethal! This is one of my more comedic titles, but I mainly write romance. I also write fantasy, action/adventure, comedy, and YA with more serious tones, but there's almost always an element of romance.

I’ll have more info if anyone decides to DM me (here first though. I do have a Discord, but don’t feel comfortable giving it out). Here is a page I made for it, however, if anyone wants more info without needing to wait on me.

I have 4 main characters and 10 love interests (designed by me w/references) and ~250 short stories (all ranging 1.5k-2k words or more). Anything else like locations and places of interests have also been thought up thoroughly and I really won't need any help in that department. (Also, just wanted to mention that I frequently have POC in my stories and have an MC who's a POC, so I wanted to mention that in case you're not experienced with POC hairstyles, skin colors, or features.)

One thing I want to mention is how ambitious I am about this. I was very disappointed when Obey Me! confirmed it was “no longer making new content” after a lackluster two years and the disaster that was Nightbringer. I thought, “I have ideas that are better than this” and wanted desperately to work on something in the same vein. Because of that, the collection of short stories I wrote eventually got more and more ideas behind it. My ultimate goal with this story is to have it be a video game, one like Obey Me!/OB!NB, but without the aggressive microtransactions, lack of character growth and gameplay, and without crucifixion of the romance and adult themes. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the ability to make it that far, but right now I just wanna start as small as possible and see if I can make a web series out of it.

About me personally, I’m 25 and am struggling to find a job right now. I’m not diagnosed, but am 100% sure I have some form of anxiety and that makes it difficult for me to pursue work that isn’t debilitating to me. My passions are the only thing keeping me going and if I can turn that into a source of income, I’d be more than willing to work to the bone for it.

This wouldn't be the only project I want to work on as I have millions of characters and thousands of ideas I want to work on.

I wanna talk about this somewhere but I’m so into working on my book series again. Months of meltdowns and depression ending with me loosing a job has just sparked the need to work on it again. I’m so determined to get the pre writing shit done so I can start writing.

I’m currently trying to compile all the world building info into one page per country instead of the massive folders I have rn so I can better see what I’m missing. At this point, one country has been thought out a good bit but the other 3 need the same treatment.

Also I’ve already drawn one of the MC and the secondary characters from the one country, let’s call this country T even though I have posted this stuff online so it won’t be hard to find. Man I’m bad at keeping things secret but I want people to know my countries and characters! Anyway, I still need to draw the others.

Oh oh! So before I was trying too hard to be the YA version of Game of Thrones even though I haven’t even read it and only know a general gust of the story. I’m also only taking 1 minor inspiration from that but I was so against having mythical races and magic in my world when that’s what I love about fantasy. It’s there now! The magic is back and it makes the story so much more interesting and brings more challenges and ahhhhhh so excited!

Reading The Hobbit helped and I’ve started Fellowship. I’m in between 3-4 books. Goodness I need to chill. But now my story has gone from Harry Potter inspired (that’s from so so soooo long ago) to inspired by Avater the Last Air Bender, Tolkien, a tiny pinch of Game of Thrones, and dnd.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been working on a YA fantasy series on and off since 2017. I’ve been stuck on the overall plot and world building for a while. Ik the plot but it’s kinda blurry and I’ve been trying to clear the fog. And the world building….I just really like world building but! I swear it’s important! The cultures and history of the countries are important to the story and are a big part of the characters since all of them (the main cast) are each from a different country. And now I’ve made up new races which yes I do plan on creating them into homebrews.

Speaking of how cool would it be that after I (hopefully) get my series published that I make an rpg guide for my world?!

Ok that’s all. I’ve always wanted to blog about my writing but Ive always tended to take such long breaks but I’m hoping that won’t happen this time now that monsters and magic is back in my world *knocks on wood*
