I JUST REALIZED THE PATTERN FOR THE OG LITTLE THREE TRIO WHEN IT CAMES TO THEIR PARTNERS/LOVE INTERESTS.
Thalia and Luke.
Percy and Annabeth.
Nico and Will.
Thalia,Percy and Nico all have black hair, while Luke,Annabeth and Will have blond hair. This can't be a coincidence 😭✋
The kids from the Roman counterpart fortunately broke this cycle (even tho Jason is the blond in question and Frank have black hair, while Hazel and Piper both share the same hair color but anyway-)
But this cannot be a coincidence since it happened 3 times, they share a type. Seriously.

I know Hera doesn't have kids, but can you do headcanons where she has one and the kid is just so sweet and people wonder if she kidnapped a kid or randomly claimed a kid or something like that
Oh wow! Its been forever since I've done PJO headcanons. I can't believe after all these years someone wants more. I'll do my best with them but fair warning, it's been quite a while since I've read the books so my knowledge is a little rusty.
The concept of Hera having a legitimate child is SO foreign, that for a while they poor girl goes under the radar entirely, from monsters and demigods alike.
When she finally is found and brought to camp, she gets claimed immediately. A brilliant symbol glows above her head. It's a lovely peacock with spread white tail feathers, the feathers on its head a hallowed gold, almost like a crown.
At first it's silence. The poor new girl is already confused but the absolute silence makes her fear she's been claimed by a monster or something.
There's hushed murmers, a slight debate because she can't REALLY he Hera's daughter right? It's unheard of! Well... Aside from Hephaestus and he didn't turn out quite so beautiful.
Hera does deign a visit though, which is even more surprising. She is powerful and not at all ashamed of her child, nor of declaring her openly as her own even in front of Zeus.
Chiron has no choice but to allow the girl to stay in her mother's cabin. Everyone else is intimidated so Jason (I have not read the ToA and therefore they are not my canon) offers to show her around. He Hera's chosen child so he's as close to a "sibling" as she can get.
Her name is Althaia, which means healing. It is a very confusing name to the camp at first because how could the goddess of marriage name her daughter so? But it becomes clear why Hera has named her as such because she is, quite literally, Hera's healing after eons of Zeus' infidelity. Hera is finally assured a child of her own who loves her and therefore Hera is protective over her possessively. Under no circumstances must she go on any quests (Hera has no power if the Oracle speaks but luckily for her, it does not).
Althaia is quickly found to be good with birds. Peacocks aren't really around camp but doesn't matter cuz she can talk to birds in general (im basing this off the myth that, aside from the peacock being Hera's symbol, she kissed Zeus when he was a bird under her care which bound her to marry him but we're just concerned about the kindness to birds aspect here)
Birds aside, she has beautiful dark brown hair and the most striking eyes as well. She has every bit resemblence of her mother which makes her fearsome because no one outright disrespects Hera after the Quest of the Seven. But unlike Hera, Althaia has the mildest temperament.
She's very easy to resolve disputes around camp especially between cabins. Family is her mother's domain and Althaia is a natural at calming disputes, even inter-cabin ones cuz technically all of camp is family.
Unfortunately for Aphrodite who tends to cause disputes between couples at camp for entertainment sometimes, Althaia being around means that love from lust is distinguished easily and that faulty relationships aren't quite as dramatic as before. Althaia can't quite bless or curse relationships but she can ensure that they save themselves.
It's a very popular rumor around camp that Althaia is actually kidnapped and her memory erased like Jason's was. Jason himself, actually took it upon himself to investigate with Piper and Leo. Hazel also assisted knowing the most about how the mist could be used to obscure memory. Of all their experiences though, they couldn't find anything suspicious.
It reaches a head when one day some of the campers say as such of the rumor in front of a disguised Hera (who comes to check up on her daughter often) and having enough of the Olympians and their children doubting her child's legitimacy, strikes fear into them in the way only she knows how.
Percy, Annabeth and Thalia are originally suspicious of Alaitha. The former has bad experiences with the goddess of marriage and Thalia has no love for her dear stepmother either.
She does prove herself decent though and so, as much as they dislike Hera, they are able to tolerate her daughter. It is surprisingly Nico who takes an attachment to her. He understands being misunderstood because of your parent, because you weren't supposed to be born. All of the Big 3's children have that in common with Hera's daughter but Nico takes the most time to show his concern.
Piper is kind and well-meaning. Leo does everything in his power to make her feel welcome as well and Calypso is wary because of her feelings towards the gods in general, especially since Alaitha is so attached to her godly parent, but is never unkind. The Romans are indifferent although Hazel is like Nico in her understanding of Alaitha's predicament but they don't see each other often so the sentiment is not as strong.
Alaitha is no pushover, despite her kindness though. It just so happens that she overhears a demigod bragging about cheating on his girlfriend. Her mother's struggles are not unknown to her and that is the day the camp sees Alaitha show a fury rivaled only by her mother's. Suffice to say, no one wishes to anger her to that point again.
At some point there is almost a Civil War over her existence. Zeus accuses Hera of infidelity but hardly anyone takes his side. Zeus threatening to smite her leads Hera threatening to smite his own children and the entire camp to smithereens. While Zeus has little regard for his own children, Artemis cares for Thalia and Poseidon and Hades for their sons. Same can be said about the other godly parents for their children and though Hera would never admit it, she cares for Jason as well even if Zeus refuses to. High tensions are in the air but most of the gods are on Hera's side.
Alaitha is worried at first when news first hits camp and there's a lot of flurry over it. She almost brings herself to a panic but comes across Jason, Percy, Nico, Thalia and Hazel lounging around, unaffected despite the commotion. This isn't their first time facing an over dramatic blow out between their parents over legitimacy and it won't be the last. Adding Hera to the equation is hardly a problem. Somehow, Alaitha feels much better after that even though the camp is still in commotion (Mostly the younger/newer demigods. The Battle of Manhatten and War Against Gaia demigods are greatly perturbed but definitely not to an extreme).
Despite her struggles of fitting in initially, Alaitha forms friendships with all the demigods and finds her own place at camp. She stays only the summers though. The rest of the year she lives with her father, a simple man who works a 9-5 job and has little wealth but would do anything for his daughter. She has a nice stepmother as well, for Hera blessed her ex-lover with a deserving match. Regardless of her jealousy towards the woman, Hera knows she will not be replaced in her daughter's life as Zeus replaced her with thousands of other women and this is thus, perhaps, her first step to overcoming her fatal insecurities.
I really hope you enjoyed these anon! I tried to stay as true to canon as I could. Definitely feel free to ask for more cuz getting back into PJO is not something I'd be opposed to.
:D

nico, hazel, rachel, reyna, and jason as a team in a superhero au 👁‍🗨(ik this is a lot of characters so if u don't feel like doing All of them ofc don't feel obligated to!!)
Omg omg so :
I actually am cheating because I have a vague X-men au already :
Nico :
vigilante 1 he’s not here to win popularity points.
Hades fell in love with his team-women with powers of the earth, magic, and herself and once defeating Nyx and taking her powers away they were able to give their kids all that they were and could be
With that in mind Nico takes after Maria (clearly favoring her appearance) but he isn’t blessed particularly with his family’s powers outside of his father-though he shows talent with Nyx’s and an aptitude for the theories and inner workings on everyone and everything-very curious and has the drive to back it up (a side effect from his momma-can’t back down when you know what you want)
Called the ghost king not because he truly commands them but because they listen to him he just has a way with people when he believes in himself
Loremaster and co leader of the team-stepped down to co leader for his own health-was made leader in the first place when Bianca passed. Is the one who gets the final say over battle plans -though often defers to Reyna to it
Was apprenticed under Hestia for magic- still does apprenticeships under different people in all diff positions-knows everyone
Their usual spy
Absolutely still fights with swords will cut a bitch. Uses two-gifted from his father and Hestia-one burns and one freezes. Either way it makes for some drama.
Hazel :
As said w Nico is her family’s legacy. Shows active promise in the earth and magic-true power-though lacks the technical precision she wants-so still is apprenticed under Hecate and studies under her brother and family.
Is 100% the teams powerhouse. Wants to be more in charge with decisions ect but admits she doesn’t always think everything through...and she is a lil young
Not ready to be the face of the team quite yet-knows Jason/Reyna feel uncomfortable filling in for her siblings-it’s not their place but Bianca fell and Nico just couldn’t do it. And she’s..she’s just not ready
Absolutely still rides a horse into battle-gifted from the Amazon’s themselves
Fights with her mothers scythe
Rachel :
her dad got in trouble for some stuff and she started working as a hero-she eventually joined their team-they needed four people. To their surprise when she met the fates something clicked and she now has visions of the future
Feels guilt for not seeing Bianca (who was her gf) fall-not saving her-being there and just..failing-how could she look them in the eyes? She didn’t leave the team (Nico begged her not to) but she just..couldn’t be on the ground anymore. Not again.
She helps as their medic and patches them up when they get back-otherwise she helps Nico w research or works on her visions
She knows Hades blames her-she knows he does. Maybe she is a lil over dedicated to them now but she needs to make it up to them. She knows her guilt messes with her vision but she’ll just learn to live with it-after all at least she gets to learn to live with it.
Worked on a team w Percy and gang but just couldn’t after their breakup and Annabeth being mean to her when Percy and her were dating-it just wasn’t professional-it was effecting their jobs so she has experience
Reyna :
Her and her sister shipwrecked onto the lost island of the Amazon’s. They were blessed with their abilities and trained but while her sister found comfort with them Reyna..she just wanted to go home-wherever that may be. It wasn’t here. More and more people get shipwrecked and she doesn’t think anything of it but eventually it clicks what’s wrong-the women join the island-the rest disappear-she flees with the prisoners at night-taking a ship (she knows her sister kept them from following her-she just knows it)
She starts “New Rome” with the survivors-many of which have no one to return to and keeps up her blessings-to her shock one by one they’re claimed or show signs of gifts and she just knows-at least it was the right thing to do-she does her best to command them-to lead them and ignore every bad feeling she has
She starts a team with Jason, Octavian, and a few others-eventually they’re betrayed and while Octavian faced punishment it doesn’t change the fact that people died and Jason and her are alone again.
Nico’s team helped fight Octavian during his rise to villainy and in the fight Bianca fell-saving them-helping them-the least she’s could do was fill her space.
And she does she doesn’t know it and she can never admit it (she hates herself for even thinking it) but Bianca dying might of been the best thing for her-she found a family, she found a home, Jason is still with her and she has siblings now-Nico just imprinted on her and Hazel thinks she’s the coolest and shes like half sure Rachel has a crush on her-she still is thought highly of-still commands-but it’s different-it’s different when you know they still see you as a person and not an obstacle to get around
She has no powers that help herself but she can boost anyone else’s
She fights with anything and everything
Jason :
While on the run from their father (a highly respected anti meta politician-a meta himself just trying to hold onto power) Thalia manages to get him on a ship heading out-it doesn’t matter where-he cries and screams as Thalia fights and falls distracting their enemies-it doesn’t matter-nothing breaks Thalia’s barriers-and once sound finally comes out he’s far enough away it doesn’t matter
Is saved by Reyna and brought to New Rome-on a mission he is taken by the wolves and while he comes back he’s never the same
Werewolf baby
Had wings like his dad but his father removed them-later on it’ll turn out he didn’t even need them to make him fly (turns out his mother was a meta too)-along with the lightning stuff but doesn’t like using it-makes him sad, mad, scared, he just. Can’t.
That changes as he grows closer to Reyna and Octavian but when Octavian betrays them any words of comfort are just. Hollow and he’s back to square one.
Meeting the new team and attempting to click with them (Hazel didn’t like him at first. Thought he’d be mean to Nico -most guys are) he is starting to get himself again-it isn’t until an incident where he attacks Nico (as a wolf) and Nico forgives him that he realizes oh. They’re a team-and they like him no matter if he hurts them-it happens-and they’ll be there afterwards.
Yes he’s dating Nico they’re werewolves together. They had a life changing mission together and came back besties and Hazel finally stopped oppressing him every five seconds (personally the rest of the team kinda misses that..it was kinda funny)

Percy Jackson was not supposed to arrive at Camp Jupiter until June, yet somehow, he arrived six months early. He was supposed to have partial memories connecting him to Camp Half-Blood, yet he remembered nothing.
Hera supposed she should have known better than to try to make an unequal exchange. The fates simply evened the scales.
-Ω-
'Percy Jackson,' Percy thought to himself. It was his name, one of two things he remembered about himself. The other is that he was the son of Poseidon, or Neptune, as Lupa would say. He supposed he was lucky to know who his godly parent was, but the lack of the rest of his memories made him reluctant to say so definitively.
Still, Frank was constantly wondering who his own godly parent was, so Percy was glad he had at least one thing he didn't have to worry about.
Frank arrived at the Wolf House only a few days after Percy did. They were the only two demigods there, so they quickly became sparring partners and then friends. Soon, they would leave for Camp Jupiter together. Technically, it's a journey that's supposed to be done alone, but there are no official rules about traveling together.
-Ω-
The journey to Camp Jupiter was more difficult than Percy anticipated. He felt like he had been on the road before, and some of the instincts remained. He was able to hotwire a car for them to use – steal – but it was quickly abandoned after a day when it was spotted by law enforcement.
Percy and Frank trespassed through a lot of property while running away which ended with them accidentally running into a camp of Anthropophagites, a race of cannibals, who they had to fight. They could bring themselves to loot the camp for supplies, so the two boys found themselves camping with no equipment.
They managed to gather some supplies, but the journey remained perilous. Percy estimated that they ran into two monsters a day. He assumed Frank had to be the child of someone powerful, because alone neither of them would draw that many monsters.
Eventually though, they did arrive.
-Ω-
Frank may not have known who his godly parent was, but he had papers. This was enough to accept him into the legion, even if he was put in the fifth cohort. Percy had nothing. His fate was dependent on someone be willing to stand for him. Luckily, fate was with him. For now.
A young, dark-skinned, girl stood for him and Percy let out a breath of relief.
Relief that he was safe for now.
Relief that he wouldn't be on his own anymore.
Relief because, as strange as it might seem, he already felt a sense of belonging.
-Ω-
The girl who stood for him was Hazel Levesque and she was the daughter of Pluto. Apparently, she hadn't been at Camp for that long either, but as the child of Pluto she knew how it felt to be an outsider. So, when she saw the other shake their heads at the thought of accepting a son of Neptune, she stood for him.
Since she stood for him, Hazel had to show Percy how things worked around camp, and since she was already showing him around the centurions had her show Frank as well.
It was rare that three people got along as well as they did.
Two friends was all Percy needed to ignore the hostile glares from the legionnaires.
Two friends was all Frank needed to have the confidence to speak his mind.
Two friends was all Hazel needed to not feel cursed.
-Ω-
Percy adjusted to the pace of Camp Jupiter. He was surprised that he enjoyed it so much. At first, he recoiled at the strict order, but he found peace in the stability and grew even more confident in his abilities the longer he was there. He couldn't be positive, but he felt as if he had a very chaotic childhood. Camp Jupiter was a nice respite.
Still, he didn't completely reform. He couldn't bring himself to just blindly listen to orders, and found himself, with Frank, often purposing strategies during war games.
Their centurions, Dakota and Gwen didn't listen to them the first time. However, after the trio single-handedly won the bi-weekly war game they started listening.
And for the first time in years, the fifth cohort had a five-game winning streak.
-Ω-
After doing so well in the games, it shouldn't have been a surprise for Mars to appear to claim Frank as his son. However, everyone was shocked anyways. However, they weren't surprised when he gave the trio a quest.
-Ω-
The quest was simply to retrieve the eagle, so they were quite surprised to arrive in Alaska to find Death chained and a giant guarding him. The surprise turned to worry when they realized there was an army marching towards Camp Jupiter.
They practically flew across the waves as Percy was pushing them so fast back towards camp. As they neared Camp Jupiter, they could see the monster army marching nosily towards it.
Percy pushed to go fast.
They arrived in time to warn Reyna.
They only beat the monster army by minutes, but those precious minutes of preparation saved lives.
-Ω-
Percy fought the hardest he had in his life.
Slash. Dodge. Stab. Duck.
This was his new home.
Slash. Dodge. Stab. Duck.
He had to protect it.
Slash. Dodge. Stab. Duck.
He had to face the giant.
Slash. Dodge. Stab. Duck.
He needed a god.
Terminus.
He lifted Terminus's stone head and slammed it into the giant.
The fighting ended.
Percy was lifted up on shields.
-Ω-
Praetor. Praetor. Praetor.
-Ω-
Being Praetor was large jump in responsibilities, yet Percy didn't feel worried. He had a strange feeling that he had been in a similar position.
It also helped that Reyna was a good teacher.
-Ω-
While Percy had adjusted to the pace of life of a Legionnaire, being Praetor was a whole other level. He had to learn about Politics.
The Praetors are in charge, but they can be overruled if the senators and augur combine their powers. There are also the honorary senate members to contend with who were former legionnaires. Many plans and power plays were disrupted by Percy's election on the battlefield. It had been expected that Octavian would become the next Praetor as he had been collecting votes for the election in June.
Due to this disruption, Reyna stressed to Percy how delicate the balance of power was currently. It was vital that they remain a united front.
Percy swore he would do anything to protect New Rome and Camp Jupiter.
So, he and Reyna spent the majority of their time together. She was the first person he saw in the morning and the last person he saw at night.
They were constantly seen together, whether it was at meals, watching the war games, or simply walking around New Rome.
In this way, they established an image of unity.
-Ω-
Slowly, they built a solid foundation of trust. Reyna had been leading Camp Jupiter alone for months. Everyone relied on her. Friend or lover, she needed someone she could lean on, and that was a position Percy could fill.
-Ω-
Percy enjoyed Reyna's company. She seemed familiar, but he couldn't place why. She had told him about how they met in the Sea of Monsters, but he was sure that wasn't the only place he remembered her from.
After spending several weeks joined at the hip, Percy learned that Reyna was similar to him. He didn't realize it at first, because she acted so serious, but eventually she let her guard down when they were alone. Like him, she's fiercely loyal which is why she's so strict. She prefers to fight, not plan, but learned to become a planner so she could be a better leader. And she's funny, her humor is a dry sarcasm, so Percy didn't realize that she was making a joke the first few times. Now he makes a point to laugh at all her jokes.
He also makes it his goal to make her laugh at least once every day. The first time he heard her laugh he almost had an aneurysm. It was late at night, both of them had had too much coffee, he made a dumb Rome pun, and Reyna lost it. She doubled over in laughter and Percy could only stare in amazement.
-Ω-
Their friendship was not the only thing they worked on building. Large parts of New Rome had been destroyed in the battle with Polybotes. The city needed rebuilding so that was their main task.
It worked in their favor as they decided to update many parts of the city while they rebuilt. This garnered favor with the veterans who put pressure on the senators to be more supportive of their Praetors.
The week they unveiled the new Senate building they received more oaths of loyalty than they did the day Percy became a Praetor.
-Ω-
The growing support was good because they were going to need all of it if the memories Percy recovered were true.
-Ω-
Percy's memories were coming back slowly, but they were still coming back. He remembered his mom and had vague memories of his best friend, Grover, and even vaguer memories of another camp. He couldn't remember the name or location, but he knew now that he was sent to Camp Jupiter on purpose.
Reyna was the first one he told.
-Ω-
They had assumed that there had been somewhere else for demigods to go, Percy being alive proved that. However, having actual confirmation changed things. There was a war coming, they would need the other camp's help to defeat Gaea.
So together, Percy, Reyna, Frank, and Hazel made a plan. It was obvious that Percy and Jason were switched, their next challenge was how to reveal the information to the Senate without starting a war. There were some preparations they could make now, such as adding a place for the Greeks to stay outside of the city limits to the city plans.
However, much of their planning had to wait until Percy remembered more information about the other camp.
-Ω-
Luckily, they didn't have to wait long because soon Percy met Nico di Angelo.
-Ω-
Percy thought the best way to describe meeting Nico was like getting punched in the face while having a lake poured into your ears. The moment they shook hands, he was flooded with memories, mostly things that related to the other boy.
He remembered getting the curse of Achilles. He remembered Mythomagic. He remembered Bianca and her death. But most importantly, he remembered that Nico had been at Camp Half-Blood.
So, Nico was recruited.
-Ω-
Nico was their eyes and ears in the Greek camp. Initially, he wanted them to contact Camp Half-Blood, but they had already agreed that that should be a last resort.
The reason was based in politics. They couldn't be in contact with the Greeks before even announcing their existence to the Senate, it would look like a conspiracy. And if Percy were to remain trusted by the Romans, he couldn't have anything to do with the Greeks until the Camp trusted them.
Nico had the unique position of being able to say he was an ambassador to both camps on behalf of his father. This was crucial for their new plans.
If the prophecy of the Seven was really coming true, then they would need a neutral party for the trip. The Senate would never agree to four Greeks and three Romans. So, Nico would have to be the neutral party.
Percy and Jason obviously had to go since they were the ones swapped.
Nico told them the other one guaranteed would be Leo Valdez because he was building the ship they would need.
Then it was likely to be Jason's girlfriend, Piper McLean because she went on the quest to free Hera with Jason and Leo. Percy couldn't help but notice that Reyna seemed to be sad to hear about Jason having a girlfriend.
The last person Nico thought would come was Annabeth Chase.
"She's your…close friend," Nico explained. Percy believed him. He had some memories of her, but she was mostly in the background. Still, her constant presence was enough to convince him that they were close.
-Ω-
"This memory loss is driving me crazy," Percy muttered.
"How so?" Reyna asked, looking up from her document.
"Ever since Nico arrived, I've remembered more about Camp, but the more I remember the more I'm aware of everything I've forgotten. Like, I have face in my head but no names for them. I remember what my cabin looked like, but I don't have any memories from being inside it," he vented.
Reyna reached over and patted his hand.
"They will come back in time, don't worry. Nico said that Jason has recovered many of his memories, you will too."
-Ω-
Memory loss and preparation for war aside, Percy enjoyed his life at Camp Jupiter. The more he got to know the legionnaires the more he liked them. They took longer to trust, but that was because they were in a more militaristic environment. Percy was proud that he managed to get their trust.
He was more relaxed than Reyna with them as well. He liked to joke that they had a good cop bad cop routine. However, he still carried out punishments on those who broke the rules. Reyna would remind him that he could be friendly but could not seem like a push-over.
Still, he felt a trill of happiness every time he was walking through New Rome and heard someone call him by his name and wave hello.
New Rome was another part of Camp Jupiter that Percy grew more found of every day. He was still missing many of his memories, but he could remember that he spent much of his time moving around. The idea of a safe place where he could settle down and go to school without worrying about monsters was intoxicating.
-Ω-
Reyna was trying to suppress her excitement, and Percy was instantly suspicious.
"What are you up to?"
"Just close your eyes and come with me." Percy sighed, but obediently closed his eyes. Reyna grabbed his hand and lead him through a doorway, down a hall, around a corner, and through another doorway.
"Okay, you can open them," Reyna whispered.
In front of Percy was a giant mist maker and a reflective light. Together they made a giant rainbow. He turned to Reyna in confusion. She held up a drachma.
"Call your mom."
-Ω-
Percy cried for a long time while he was on the call with his mom. She had to be sworn not to tell anyone but talking with her was the second happiest moment he had at Camp Jupiter.
The happiest happened directly afterwards when he kissed Reyna (And she kissed back).
-Ω-
Their relationship progressed slowly. They were the leaders of New Rome and Camp Jupiter and they had a war to plan. They couldn't let their relationship ruin that. But they couldn't hold back their feelings either.
It was common to see the two walking around New Rome in the evening, holding hands while discussing business.
-Ω-
Percy knew he was missing something important (Annabeth), but Reyna greeted him in the morning with coffee and a kiss.
She giggled as he tickled her.
She swung their arms as they walked hand-in-hand down the main road in New Rome.
She rubbed his back when he remembered new things.
She bit her pen while looking over document.
He kissed the spot on her forehead that she always rubbed when she was getting tired.
And he couldn't bring himself to push his memories and find out what was missing.
-Ω-
Then it was too late.
The memory came to him suddenly.
Him and Annabeth.
Underwater.
Kissing.
"Percy, what did you remember?"
Percy wouldn't forget the look in her eyes when he told her.
-Ω-
They stopped taking walks around New Rome.
-Ω-
Their relationship changed again, but it didn't become cold.
They're still friends.
Friends who have feelings for each other.
Friends who have feelings for each other and know the other likes them back.
But Reyna wasn't going to be the 'other woman'.
And Percy refused to be the douche who uses amnesia as an excuse to cheat.
So, they go back to being friends.
They're still united.
It's just a bit awkward.
-Ω-
The drama is forgotten as there are more important factors at play. Soon, it's time to present their information about the Greeks to the Senate.
Together they stood.
And the senate listened.
When the Greeks arrive, they will be tentatively accepted.
-Ω-
The Argo II parks at the convenient dock built for it. Guards are placed around it, much to the protests of one Leo Valdez.
Jason Grace is wearing a Praetor robe, and Percy scowls internally.
The four demigods descended to greet the Romans, not aware they were expecting them.
Percy remained at Reyna's side and greets them cordially.
They aren't together, but they are still united.
-Ω-
Annabeth rushes forward.
Percy doesn't.
Annabeth stops.
-Ω-
It was hard. Percy suppressed his instincts. This isn't how he would have greeted them, but it's how he had to greet them. For the benefit of Rome. Part of him wanted to run to Annabeth too, but the rest of him was rooted in Rome.
-Ω-
The plan worked.
There was no more doubt in the eyes of the Legion.
Percy Jackson may have been born Greek, but he is Roman now.
-Ω-
"I refuse," Percy said coolly.
"You can't refuse! I was elected Praetor first. It is only right that we return to the positions we left behind," Jason argued.
"And I was elected when you disappeared. At this point, I've been Praetor longer. I swore an oath and I am not going to break it. So, I say again, I refuse to step down."
Jason glared at him from across the table. Percy thought he understood why Jason was so fervent about getting his position back though.
"Reyna, do you mind if Jason and I talk alone for a moment?"
Reyna nodded and Percy tried to ignore the betrayal in Annabeth's eyes.
-Ω-
"You don't really want to be Praetor again, you just don't want your friends to see you as a traitor," Percy said as they stepped into his private meeting room.
Jason sighed and sank into a chair, "How did you know?"
"Because that's how I feel about Camp Half-Blood."
"What? The campers could never see you as a traitor, you're practically a legend there!"
"How do you think they'll feel when they find out that I don't want to come back? That I'd prefer to be the leader of another camp?"
"…I understand. You really like Camp Jupiter that much?"
"Yes," Percy answered confidently.
"Ah, okay, I won't fight you on Praetorship," Jason said with a grin. Percy noticed that a weight seemed to be lifted off him.
"Thank the gods, Octavian is enough trouble," Percy joked. Jason let out a small laugh.
"But, if you come back to Camp Half-Blood and try to take my position there then we'll have to fight," Jason warned. Percy nodded his agreement.
"Ok, and Jason? Don't worry about being seen as a traitor. The legionnaires aren't dumb, they'll be able to tell that you still care about New Rome."
"Right back at you, Jackson."
-Ω-
He breaks up with Annabeth.
"Is it because of her?"
"No! Yes…yes and no. I care about you, but I don't remember most of our time dating. I still can't tell what memories are real and what are just dreams. I remember fully all of my time with Reyna and…I do have feelings for her. I'm sorry Annabeth, but it wouldn't be fair…"
"Percy, I understand."
Still, he couldn't help but feel like the biggest asshole on the planet.
Every day, he remembers more about her and their relationship and those memories war with the ones he has with Reyna.
He can't be with either right now, not with a war coming.
-Ω-
They drop Annabeth off at Camp Half-Blood to prepare the camp for war.
Then they head for Greece.
-Ω-
While Annabeth and Reyna ready their camps to fight Gaea's army, the seven have two tasks.
Free the Doors of Death and stop Gaea from rising.
Easier said than done.
But they're the chosen seven.
They make do.
(Leo dies in the process, but he comes back so it's fine)
-Ω-
The war was over, but Percy couldn't rest until he knew Reyna was safe.
(She was)
-Ω-
Together they return to Rome and rebuild once more.
-Ω-
This time, Reyna kisses him first and they start taking walks through the city again.
-Ω-
Piper comes to Camp Jupiter as Camp Half-Blood's official ambassador. Her official reason is that she wants to be closer to her dad. The real reason is that she broke up with Jason.
She couldn't help but doubt the validity of her relationship due to the memory manipulation. Percy can relate more than anyone and welcomes her with open arms.
-Ω-
Reyna retires first and assumes an advisor position while going to college.
Percy misses her but he can't be upset about working with one of his best friends. And thanks to Reyna, he's able to train Frank well.
-Ω-
Eventually, Piper returns to Camp Half-Blood.
Someone needs to fill the ambassador position.
So, Percy retires.
He thinks Hazel will make a great Praetor, and he's looking forward to college.
He convinced his mom and Paul to move to New Rome so he could still be near them. His mom can work anywhere, and Percy was able to get Paul a position as a lecturer. He's looking forward to being taught by him again.
-Ω-
(Word comes that Annabeth and Jason got together)
-Ω-
Finally, they're able to settle down.
Reyna rents a storefront not far from camp and starts a martial arts school directed to help troubled kids while Percy is able to get a job as a marine biologist.
Eventually, he gets down on one knee too.
(She says yes)

Percy Jackson & The Avengers: Convergence - percy gets mad
*peaks from behind vibranium shield* Hello? I guess there isn't any excuses- actually no! I do have a good excuse this time (besides laziness). I have a back injury and have kinda been in pain for a while now and when I finally got it checked out professionally, they told me I had developed scoliosis from sleeping on my stomach. So, kids, remember, sleep on your side!
Anyways, this chapter is a kinda short one, but a lot of character growth happens and relationships are formed and...stuff. So, yeah, I hope you guys like it! Comment, like, follow, and reblog! Stay safe and happy reading!

"So what do we know?" Annabeth asked as they reentered the meeting room from before.
Everyone else filed in and sat down before Steve answered her. "Well, the attacks seem to be random, but very damaging. The green fire is practically uncontrollable, and the terrorists have threatened to do something worse, with a lot more power. We have no way of tracking the attacks, and we're clueless on where to start."
Percy noticed that Annabeth had the crinkle between her brows again, which meant that she was thinking hard. So, he sat back in his chair and waited for her to figure this whole thing out.
"So you know nothing?" Jason asked, sitting forward and scanning through the information projected.
Annabeth was studying a map of the attacks, and her brain was on overdrive. She may not be able to throw fire, or fly, but she could figure out just about any pattern. This one didn't take long to find.
She hummed, "Not necessarily. I think I know the pattern of the attacks. Plus, we know how to deal with the green fire. Or, at least, Leo does."
Leo got a crazy grin, making Hazel extremely worried about what was going through his head. With him it could be anything.
"What's the pattern then?" Tony asked, obviously skeptical.
"Oh my gods," Percy muttered, realizing what the pattern was with horror.
"What? What is it?!" Tony exclaimed, clearly not enjoying being left out.
Percy and Annabeth seemed to be the only demigods who had figured it out, so they exchanged another silent conversation with each other. The only way to explain the pattern was to possibly let slip the gods' existence, and that was not an option. Annabeth thought that they should at least TRY to tell them, but Percy was adamant on not saying another word. He still wasn't completely trusting of SHIELD, and he had had even less interaction with the Avengers. He had absolutely no reason to trust them yet.
Finally, with one last chilling glare from Annabeth, Percy relented with a sigh and a nod. Everyone else in the room looked at them with either confused, or exasperated expressions.
"Those locations are all important parts of–our world. Clearly, someone is trying to send us a message, and it's not a nice one," Annabeth said.
"So these attacks...they're targeted at you guys? And the people there are only getting caught in the crossfire?" Natasha clarified, insinuating that this was the demigods' faults.
"We're trying to save them. This is not our fault," Frank said.
Percy's mind had already wandered away from the conversation. He was filled up with guilt. All those people, it was his fault.
His mind went back to that night at the Brooklyn Bridge. Percy had been so distracted saving the bridge that his thoughts slipped right past what Marlin had told him! He remembered what the mortal had been saying...it was so obvious now! They had been threatening the gods, and wanting them to reveal themselves! This really WAS all his fault. He could've stopped this way earlier if he had taken the time to notice everything.
"Percy! Snap out of it!" Jason yelled, breaking him out of his trance.
"Huh?" Percy said.
"Seaweed Brain," Annabeth rolled her eyes in exasperation, "I asked you if you can remember anything from the Brooklyn Bridge?"
He paled and started stuttering, "Oh, well, not really. I mean, it was pretty dark...and loud."
Tony scoffed, "How would the kid know anything about what happened there?"
Annabeth scowled and directed her icy gaze at Tony, "He saved it, you βλάκας."
"Annabeth, it's fine," Percy assured, "I do remember something, anyways. The mor–bomber was talking about how the people were blind to the truth. And it was a normal guy with the bomb."
"Blind to what truth, though?" Bruce sighed, rubbing his forehead.
The demigods shared a look. This investigation was already testing their ability to keep the secret.
"No idea..." Jason lied.
The Avengers didn't look believing, but they kept silent.
Tony clapped his hands, "Welp! Nice chat! Let's revisit this later, m'kay? The kids can go get settled now, anyway."
Piper said, "We're not kids!", at the same time Annabeth protested, "We're not staying here!"
"We're a team, for now. We need to get used to each other if we're gonna be effective in battle. And we don't have any way of contacting you otherwise," Steve pointed out.
"But we have lives!" Percy insisted.
He knew his mom would freak if she found out he was staying with the Avengers. In her eyes, they only brought trouble, and he had enough of that as it was.
"Sorry, kid. This isn't a debate. You're staying here," Clint declared, clapping Percy on the shoulder as he walked out.
Percy got up and was about to protest when Annabeth stood and whispered in his ear, "Perce. Calm down. It's fine. We'll just call Sally and tell her what's going on. We don't want to cause a scene."
She gave him a pointed look before glancing over at the water dispenser in the corner, which was currently shaking around like it was in the center of an earthquake. Percy's shoulders sagged in defeat, and he walked out without another word.
The rest of the demigods followed silently, having been in a situation like this before. None of them knew what had happened down in Tartarus, but they did know it did something to Percy and Annabeth's heads. They weren't the same people when they came back, and that was to be expected, but it was different.
The Seven knew they were keeping a secret from them, but they didn't want to push them, so they never asked. All they could figure out was that it had something to do with Percy's powers. He had avoided using them, when he used to use them for everyday tasks like washing the dishes.
"Where are we going?" Leo asked when he realized nobody knew where they were headed, only that they were following Percy's purposeful strides.
"The pool," Annabeth answered, reading her boyfriend's mood.
The only way to calm him down when he got like this was water. He had sensed the pool and immediately been drawn to it. Plus, with the money Tony Stark had, the pool had to be incredible.
Percy wasn't angry at anyone, though it could be perceived that way. He was mad at himself. In Annabeth's opinion, he had done nothing wrong, but Percy was still disappointed with himself. He had lost control, even in just a small way. That was his fault. It shouldn't have been happening.
Whenever this happened, Annabeth always reminded herself what Posiedon had said all those years ago- "The sea does not like to be restrained."
Percy was fighting his nature, and it was fighting back. He had to accept it, and she knew that. He never wanted Annabeth to watch him lose it again, so he was choosing to not use his powers at all. But that was just going to lead to an explosion when he finally let go, and that isn't any better.
Annabeth had tried to talk to him about this before, but he had always shut the conversation down before she could get any good points in. It had grown futile to try, so she just let him deal with it in his own way, only helping him when he directly asked.
Ω ♆ Ω
"What do you think about them?" Steve asked Natasha as they sat down in the kitchen, "The kids, I mean."
Steve, Natasha, and Clint had all made their way to the kitchen after the meeting had ended. They were sitting down at the kitchen island, discussing their new teammates. It was hard to tell if they should trust them.
"I don't trust them. They're obviously hiding something, and they don't seem like they're planning on telling us what it is," she answered.
"That's true...but everyone's entitled to their secrets. I'm sure you have plenty you keep from us," Steve countered.
The spy didn't seem to have an answer to that. It was true, she kept many secrets from her team, but they weren't her only team. She was an agent of SHIELD, and that meant keeping secrets for a living. Some that were much more important than that of a couple teeangers.
"They're teenagers. What's the biggest thing they could be hiding?" Clint cut in, voicing Natasha's thoughts.
"Exactly," she said, "They need to tell us more than what they are for me to be willing to work with them, especially if it means breaking the law. We're technically putting minors at risk. I, out of everyone, should know not to underestimate people based on age, but these kids' pasts don't show any evidence pointing towards them being trained."
She didn't really care that much about that part, but she figured saying it would turn Steve onto their side. He would be useful in finding out the kids' secrets.
With a sigh, he relented, "You're right. But we'll deal with this later, okay? First, we need the kids to trust us. That means no snooping!"
"Yeah," Clint nodded, "Also, where did the kids go?"
"To get settled," Steve answered.
"Actually, sir, they are currently residing in the pool room. It seems that Mr. Jackson might be drowning," JARVIS spoke, as if he hadn't just revealed the possible-death of one of their newest teammates.
Steve shot up in concern and ran out of the room in the direction of the pool. Clint jogged after him in a slightly more leisurely manner. Natasha stood up as well, but stayed in the room.
"JARVIS, bring up the video footage of the pool room," she ordered.
The AI pulled up the footage in a hologram in front of her, and she saw what he had been talking about. Six of the teenagers were around the pool, with either their feet dipping in or tossing a ball back and forth. The seventh one, Perseus, was at the bottom of the pool, lying down on his back in complete calm. He appeared to be sleeping, or even meditating. Nevertheless, she rushed towards the pool as well. She was interested in what was going to happen.
If he was really dying, his friends were bound to notice, so it had to be something to do with his powers. If he could breathe underwater, he could be a real asset.
She was able to get there just as Steve and Clint were rushing up to the kids out of the water, who seemed shocked by their presence and general panic.
"What are you doing?!" Steve shouted, taking off his coat in preparation of jumping in.
Annabeth caught on to what he thought had happened, and smirked. She wasn't sure whether she should give into the temptation to just let him do it, or to let him know Percy was fine. The former would be way more entertaining.
But also...she wasn't sure if Percy had fully cooled down yet. He could be quite snappy after he lost control.
Before she could come to a conclusion, Clint had walked up to her and repeated Steve's prior exclamation, "What are you doing?!"
"I'm sitting by the pool. Why?" she responded, giving him an innocent look.
"Your boyfriend is DROWNING!" Steve exclaimed, "And you're just sitting there!"
Leo snorted, "Percy? He's fine."
"Yeah, he's fine. Can't you see?" Hazel pointed to Percy's relaxed form.
Steve came to the conclusion that he had already passed out, and that he needed to take action quickly, so he dived in. When he got to where Percy was, he grabbed his arm and was about to pull him up when the teen's eyes snapped open in alarm. He turned to see who had disturbed him and saw it was Steve, causing confusion to lace with his features.
"Captain Rogers?" he asked, his voice coming through surprisingly clear in the water.
Now it was Steve's turn to look bewildered. His oxygen was running out, and Percy seemed to notice it. With a recognition flashing through his eyes, Percy grabbed STEVE'S arm and propelled them up until they burst through the surface, landing on the side of the pool. Steve coughed up some water while Percy looked around at the group of heroes now staring at them.
"What?" he asked, glancing at Clint and Natasha, who were sporting similar looks of confusion and shock.
The rest of the Seven were just standing there, amused. It was always funny to watch new people discover what Percy could do. It happened all the time when a new camper came to camp, and it never got old.
"Seaweed Brain, they didn't know you could breathe underwater," Annabeth answered him with fond exasperation.
"Oooooh!" he said, "Well, I can breathe underwater. That all?"
"Yes. But we're having dinner soon, so clean up and meet us in the kitchen," Steve answered, just realizing that Percy was still fully clothed, and dry.
He didn't even want to ask though. That would just give him an even larger headache that he didn't need.
"You got it, boss," Leo mock-saluted, "We'll be there soon."
The Seven's lips quirked up at their friend's antics, and at the fact that Steve seemed really overwhelmed and confused.
As soon as the adults were gone, the teeangers burst out in laughter for a full minute. It may be hard to get much past the Avengers, but finding humor in odd situations was what demigods did best. They were always in odd situations.
"Come on, guys. Let's see what the mighty Avengers eat for dinner," Annabeth said, leading the group out the door.
Ω ♆ Ω
When they got to the kitchen, the demigods saw that the Avengers had all seated themselves around the kitchen island and were grabbing pieces of pizza from multiple boxes. There appeared to be 10 boxes in total, which was not going to cut it with Leo and Percy's appetites.
"Are there any dairy-free options?" Frank asked, shifting his feet in discomfort.
Annabeth had almost forgotten he was lactose-intolerant. He rarely made a big deal of it, so it had just slipped her mind. Not many demigods liked to talk about any possible weaknesses.
"You're lactose-intolerant?" Clint exclaimed. The way he said it made it seem like it was the craziest thing he'd heard.
"Yes, he is. Now can you answer the question?" Hazel sighed.
She didn't understand why every little thing with these Avengers had to take so long. It was a simple yes or no answer here. They either had something for Frank to eat, or they didn't!
"Uh...sure. In the fridge. We have a salad I think," Steve answered for his team.
"Thanks," Frank muttered before going to the fridge and pulling out a salad kit.
Salads weren't the most filling food, especially for demigods, but they had learned to eat what they got, so Frank quickly made his dinner and moved to stand next to Hazel.
The Avengers had taken all but one of the seats, and that was taken up by Leo so he could try to talk to Tony. The other demigods were either leaning up against the counter or sitting on the countertop.
After everyone had gotten their food and started eating, everything was silent except for the chewing. Nobody knew what to say. Steve had ordered them to all be there so they could try to "bond," but no bonding had been initiated yet. It was only a matter of time, though, because when you put a large group of mostly-ADHD demigods in one room, there's no way it stays quiet for long.
Sure enough, Leo let out a frustrated sigh and started talking, "Can someone talk please? I hate silence."
That made Piper let out a snort, "Understatement of the century."
Instead of being mad at his friend for teasing him, Leo just smiled his mischievous grin and spoke again, "I know what could liven this dinner up a bit."
"Leo, no. Whatever you're planning, just no," Annabeth ordered, but she knew it was futile.
Leo slowly started to lift up a single pepperoni from his pizza, pulling his arm back in a throwing position, aimed, and let it fly. It hit Piper smack-dab in the center of her forehead, sliding down until it was clinging to her shirt, leaving a trail of red, oozing sauce.
If it were possible, Piper had steam coming out her ears, "You're gonna pay for that, metalhead!"
And before anyone could stop her, Piper let her charmspeak go, "Dump that entire pizza over your head and wear it like a hat, Leo."
The way she said it, Percy almost wanted to do it himself. If she had not added Leo's name at the end, he was sure he would've.
Leo got a glazed-over look in his eyes before his limbs performed the task. Piper seemed like she wanted to do more, but the look she got from Jason shut her up. She grumbled something about 'goody-goody sons of Jupiter' under her breath.
The Avengers had been watching the interaction with inquisitive eyes. They had hoped it would lead to more understanding of their new comrades, but no such luck; only more confusion.
"Do you always use your powers for everyday activities?" Natasha asked, going into spy-mode.
She wanted to make these kids squirm, and maybe then they would tell them something. If she had to act like she thought she was above them, then so be it. Lots of the Avengers, used their powers for simple things, anyways.
Piper didn't even bat an eyelash. She had been dealing with stuff like this from police officers and teachers, and many other adults, for a long time, and she knew what Natasha was trying.
"Yes," she answered simply, a sweet smile on her face.
Natasha's fake icy glare turned into a real one. Piper glared right back. They did this without breaking eye contact for two minutes, rebuilding the tension up.
Before it could get too bad, Percy broke in, "Nice pool."
"Oh, yeah! Percy can breathe underwater! Did you know that?" Clint made a spectacle of telling Bruce and Tony.
"You can? How? Do you have gills, or is it a different kind of filtration inside your body? The scientific possibilities ALONE could–" Bruce was cut off by Tony.
"Easy, Big Green. It's cool, but not that cool," Tony said.
Annabeth didn't like someone undermining any of her friend's skills, let alone her boyfriend, so she turned to whisper in Percy's ear, "Do it."
She didn't even have to say what she was referring to. Percy had been watching her, and he saw her glance around the room before her eyes zeroed in on the can of Coke sitting in Tony's hand.
Percy smiled. He may not like doing big things with his powers, but if it was for payback and something small, he was very willing.
Tony didn't know the teens well enough to notice their subtle changes, and that was going to cost him. The rest of the Seven had all shifted until they were on the metaphorical edge of their seats, and Percy had moved so he was sitting up straight.
Natasha and Clint seemed to be the only ones who had noticed any change at all. They were glancing at each other nervously, wondering what the kids could possibly be planning. This might be the thing that made them right about the teenagers having too much power for their maturity level.
With a simple flex of his power, the coke in Tony's bottle exploded from its can and right into his face. The Seven all burst out in uncontrollable laughter.
All of the Avengers had either joined them, or at least smiled.
Tony was sputtering and furiously wiping his face with a napkin while simultaneously glaring at the son of Poseidon, who only smirked in response.
"This is why I hate kids," Tony grumbled as he walked out the room, no doubt to take a shower.
"So you can control more than just water?" Clint asked, voicing both his and Natash's thoughts.
The mood dropped quickly back to awkward, and Percy stood up before answering, "Yeah, I guess. I'm just gonna go...to bed...now. Bye."
Annabeth left with him, and the rest of the Seven trickled out after them.
Steve turned to glare at Clint and Natasha for ruining their plan before leaving, too.
Back with the demigods, they had all stopped in the hallway outside their rooms, which were all next to each other.
"Meet in Percy's room at midnight. We need to talk," Annabeth ordered.
"Got it, boss," Leo saluted before disappearing into his room.
The rest of the group went into their respective room without another word, leaving just Annabeth and Percy standing there. Annabeth took one look at his baby seal eyes, and nodded, following him into his room and onto his bed.
They both cuddled up together, Annabeth tucking her head under Percy's chin as he pulled her close to him. Being together like this was more than just a nice thing for the couple, it helped the nightmares, and eased the effects of bad days like today. She knew they had to meet the others at midnight, but they had a few hours before that, and a little nap never hurt.
Soon, Percy was snoring next to her. Annabeth lay awake for only a few more minutes, her head resting on his chest. The beat of his heart filled her mind, soothing her worry. It acted as her lullaby, assuring her he was alive and well. Despite being in unfamiliar surroundings in an unfamiliar bed, she fell into Morpheus' realm quickly, at home in Percy's arms.

Note
hey do you have any hcs about percy? i love all your headcanons theyre very in character
Thank you so much!! I hope the list isn’t too long, I got a bit carried away!
Percy often talks very loudly and doesn’t realize it but whenever it’s just him and his partner he instinctively quiets down and his voice gets all soft and sweet and you can tell be the way he talks alone that he loves his partner more than anything
He goes to visit his mom and Paul and Estelle every chance he gets, he can’t imagine what he’d do without them
He still gets nightmares about Tartarus even years and years later. He never quite moves on and this has an awful impact on his sleeping schedule, he often wakes up from a nightmare and has to turn on every light and won’t go back to sleep and this will go on for days and days until he just passes out from exhaustion, Jason and Annabeth often worry about him but they know there’s not much they can do for him besides be there for him and support him when he needs it.
Percy also frequently has nightmares about Bianca’s death, and there’s been multiple times where in the middle of the night he’s started to run to Nico’s cabin only to reach the front door and not be able to knock, just returning to his cabin to just get up and shower like he would if he had just gotten up at a normal time because he doesn’t know what else to do, he really wants to sit down with Nico and try to talk to him about it but every time he almost does he just decides that he can’t do it
Ambrosia to him tastes like his mom’s cookies but it’s never quite right, there’s something about it that just doesn’t make it the same
He likes going swimming but it scares him to go underwater now and often he forgets he can breathe and almost passes out from trying to hold his breath
He also figured out he was technically pan but he doesn’t care for labels so when asked if he like men or women or what his sexuality is he just says ‘yes’
Percy still gets nervous around people drinking because of Gabe and men yelling scares him so needless to say he doesn’t drink and he’s quick to leave any situation where people get drunk, he often ends up standing to the side with Nico or sneaking off to avoid drunk people
Percy can’t cook, the best thing he’s cooked was a piece of burnt toast and even that was barely edible, Sally has tried and tried to teach him but it just never works, after he started a fire they decided he wasn’t allowed in the kitchen anymore.
Percy frequently tries to hang out with Leo and Harley but if any of their siblings that were around before Charles Beckendorf died he will get out of there as soon as possible because he feels guilty that he didn’t save him
He also never can stick to one hobby, the only things that he’s ever really stuck with are training and skateboarding
He likes to host game nights in his cabin at least once a week so the group can hang out together and he often makes an effort to invite any new campers as long as they’re a bit older(like mid to late teens) since some jokes aren’t always exactly PG
He never quite stops being a big figure around camp, even while living in new Rome he likes to visit for the summers to train new campers and make everyone feel loved and welcome (especially since their parents aren’t too great at that)
He eventually helps CHB form a rule that children under 15 can’t fight or go on quests because he was tired of seeing tons of literal children being sent out to die and the ones that did make it back being left to suffer with the trauma, and though 15 is still young it’s much better than before
He also helped form a mental health support group because he knows after everything he went through if it hadn’t been for Annabeth, Grover, and his mom of course (and other friends but mainly them) he probably wouldn’t have lived as long as he had (and that’s not because of monsters) and he didn’t want any other children to go through that or feel that way
He would end up living back at CHB when he’s old as a symbol to young campers who are being told that they won’t make it to 20 that they can make it to 20, they can make it so much further if they’re lucky
When he passes away at 87 both camps have large funerals (they do the same for the rest of the seven and Nico and Reyna) but no one can fully bring themselves to burn the shroud alone and in the end the remaining seven (I imagine it was probably only Annabeth, Piper, Leo and Hazel at this point) all got together to do it together and then stayed at CHB for a week just to spend time together and talk about Percy and everything he did
Percy would wait in Elysium for his friends and would spend some time there before being reborn, not necessarily to try for Elysium but just because why not, maybe he could help more people this way even if he couldn’t necessarily be a hero worthy of Elysium again.
