honestly i thought too hard about both the characters and almost had a break down,,

like arthur living a life of crime and generally not being a great guy, he is a bit traditional and can be a bit sexist and enables stuff by being quiet and complicit, though when he gets his diagnosis he changes for the better and tries to do the right things to make sure that the gang is okay but also to make peace with himself.

then theres curly, always trying to see good in the wrong people, being complicit with jimmy and just letting him do these things because he's jimmy, he's become his enabler because he tries to pacify him because he knows how jimmy behaves and he knows what he can do, he enables him to treat anya poorly because he wants to try to keep the peace and he doesnt want their pay docked and Pony Express is a bitch of a company, though once the ship is crashed and his body is burnt, he can no longer be blind to what has happened and what he has enabled, he can no longer close his eyes and ears to what is going on and he is forced to endure it all, forced to be puppetted by everyone else and used as a scapegoat and not have a voice just like anya

I've never mentioned it before but an idea I'm obsessed with is Penny as a fourth wall breaking glitch in the system entity that floats between different productions and universes trying to find an exit to her way home

I'm talking like 'no Uranium exists without a version of Penny Lamb' type thing she is a constant she's stuck not only in a loop but in a plane between existence keeping the Uranium Extended Universe intact while she's also trying to break out of it
