Random shit go

My player lore cause we won’t get anything from missing link 💔

No background research for anything I just drop my pure daydreaming to music moments of lore here so it’s might not make sense too.

First, I finally gonna name them (avoided that cause didn’t want to take them as my oc till we get more lore)

Nuru, a name I found while looking for gender neutral names. Liked how it looks and funny enough the name means “light”.

Union x lore

They have the same lore from kingdom hearts union cross, but background different (player have no background 💔)

All the kids in daybreak gotta come from somewhere. Maybe parents never shown just for the sake of mystery. Won’t be investing in solving that tho but my player and ocs comes from other places.

Nuru started as a blue bird that lived in enchanted dominion. But since its was back then before world got separated I like to see these worlds as kingdoms. Nuru got used as experimental object in another kingdom that explored hearts, their memories fusion with a human child body who missed their heart and kinda pretty much dead depends on how death works in kingdom hearts. Happened to be found by few kids from daybreak town after darkness attacked on the experimental place (cause fuck around and find out with hearts) and got adopted to their party.

Same lore as the game but more depths and details on party members and more hangouts with Ephemer before the series lore gets in. Some exploration on body dysmorphia cause bro stuck in a weird ass body and not a bird.

Keyblade war incoming and Dark Chirithy. Nightmare is so confusing, and missing link is not coming so gotta make my own lore for them too. Thats damn gonna be our chirithy who went “Sora” and time travel to try save us from the keyblade war. But lost their way to darkness immediately cause the trauma from the keyblade war was strong. They would do the same things as Nightmare believing thats the best way to help (and it kinda was? Player did survive in the war in the end lol). If it wasn’t them it would be another nightmare that somehow will show up? But the possibilities for that could be low, cause usually all Chirithy are dead with their keyblade when falling for darkness. So or time travel or the Master of masters planting Nightmare for his plan.

In the keyblade war, all of Nuru’s party members, their family, get killed. They didn’t even fall for darkness, they just wanted to protect each other. Nuru got some extra keyblades after that.

Same lore after the keyblade war but Nuru get flashbacks on daily basis and have no idea why and why their whole party have left them behind. Holding on to not crash out when the union leaders gang talks about glitches and the keyboard war like it did happened. Before Ephemer and Nuru goes to their separate ways in the Game Central station, they both trade a small piece of their hearts to stay connected and not get lost there permanently without a backup to get out. So later when Ephemer goes back to daybreak town when he mentioned their hearts connected he means it literally.

Going to the 4 darkness battle. With their hearts connection Ephemer didn’t feel like Nuru was actually under darkness control. But their emotions and attacks were so real. Its Nuru using their anger on their memories being tempered with, and the feeling they got of being an experience subject all these years ago. They do play as darkness with the same motivation of wanting Skuld and Ephemer to be the one going and being saved. But the grudge for the memories thing gives them the boost to do the hard thing and actually attack Ephemer and Skuld all the way through.

They also getting Nightmare’s backup for darkness effect, cause Dark Chirithy was still following them around, but more in secret.

Eventually, I don’t see Player/Nuru as actually dying. Cause we didn’t get much (to literally zero information) on how bro can just reincarnate and be already a kid and not a baby. Maybe some missed lore behind that too, but kingdom hearts have way too many ways to die and still survive anyway. Nuru fall to darkness, with all the four darkness sealed in them.

Missing Link lore

Nuru might be going crazy, with 4 darkness in them trying to get out, A Dark Chirithy that only complains a lot and threatening to eat Nuru (I don’t think they can do that…) and their best friend Chirithy who worries a lot. But somehow they survive. Nuru uses their friends keyblades to fight all type of darkness. The sacrifice of their friends being a protection more than their own keyblade would give them. With time, the four darkness became one, another side of Nuru that represents their trauma that sometimes talks to them while Nuru lost their mind and memories have been long gone, have no idea what that thing in their heart yapping about. After a while, the darkness also forgets and becomes quiet. Both Chirithy haven’t shown up in a while. While Ephemer’s piece of heart being their only light. They wouldn’t even remember what is that. But feel that it is important. Nuru finally ended up in End of Sea, but they wouldn’t remember how, cause just walking on autopilot. They get washed up to the beach in Scala ad Caelum.

So here its some little of lore we got from the beta test. It would be the same cause its was pretty cute, Player getting adopted by new people. But without the whole lore and mechanics of diving to the real world Pokemon go thing. Have no idea how that works.

Nuru will do some easy missions and get headaches whenever they see Ephemer statue and so on. The destined day finally arrives and Nuru meets Brain. Brain calls Nuru by their name, surprised. Nuru faints from headaches. When waking up they won’t remember much yet, but some important information like the fact they have darkness sealed in them, feeling like a danger to others. Brain jokes about asking Nept to borrow Nuru for a while. Neptune warns him that Nuru better not be a subject for a research. Nuru asks what research could that be. Brain shares with Nept that Player/Nuru comes from the same place as he, and so he need to do check ups to not get the higher up people into it. He also mentions that his research team have been keeping up on signals from the dark realm and they finally knows what was coming from there. At least a crisis is avoided cause its just Nuru.

They talk some time and Brain checks Nuru’s heart, seeing that the darkness they worried about is now part of Nuru’s heart and not a separate being. But they could get triggered to wake up and be a thing again if Nuru gets their memories back. Brain also mentioned there is another light that sits in their heart and its very small, surprised how it could stay and exist for that long. Brain asks how much they remember about the end of data daybreak town. Nuru shares that everyone they knew have turned into dream eaters. Brain is surprised a bit, as the book never mentioned that the dream eaters would be kids who fall a sleep. Nuru tries to call their Chirithy but they won’t show up. Nuru decides to risk it and ask Brain to tell them everything he can about their past. Brain says they should do that in another world to not risk Scala. But it will take some time to get approval for that.

They will figure things out and more crash outs and memories and trauma and its gonna be fun! Also exploring Ephemer’s old house and meeting his blood line family and weird stuff cause oh yeah he is dead and have a family... Finding out he faked up a prophecy in his family about his friends just in case someone will end up in Scala, to have some extra protection to their safety (don’t harm them or yall doomed type of prophecy lol) So thats gonna be fun with them now. Thats why its was so awkward with Freya? Lots of politics stuff inspired by khml fanfics bless yall but I can’t make things up so heavy lore of the societies and families in the background i guess…

Gonna ignore the missing link background lore cause I really hoped missing link would give that and again can’t make up complicated stuff. My buddy and Brain gonna focus more on the sleeping dandelions. Nuru is kinda unhinged from some of the memories coming back and experimenting on themselves with connecting to the sleep realm. Some of their tries would he very close to death cause they are similar states. Brain tries to find other solutions but keeps up with Nuru and take notes. Nuru is able to go to the sleep realm, but their stay time is usually for a minute or two, they are not stable enough for that connection yet. Freya suggests them to try take it easier, like meditation. They try that and actually get to stay longer in the sleep realm, and reunite with their two Chirithy there! Thats where they went hiding to. They guide Nuru to meet the dream eaters that were their friends cause I guess Chirithy can sense hearts or something. Nuru really went through everything and was into the self experiment thing cause the trauma but meeting Chirithy again snapped Nuru back and with Nightmare they acted like disappointed parents to Nuru lol. At some point Nuru decided to use the Ephemer heart piece to grow from it a new heart. To give another chance for Ephemer. It didn’t really work out cause no body as a vessel but Ephemer ghost is real now and gonna hunt Nuru forever. They didn’t update Brain on that tho.

Some more research and lore and details whatever Ephmer ghost in the background lore dump them but they figure out it’s won’t be that easy to wake anyone up. Brain suggests that its anyway would be better to first find destiny island so all their friends will have a safe place to wake up to. They also figured out that the answer to wake up dandelions would be in the future. Nuru plans to leave and go back to walk in the dark realm for that. So that happens and meanwhile the background story that would be a reason for baby Xehanort taken away from his mother. Nuru splits themselves to two, their heart stays with Xehanort to be his guardian and literally only he can see them and their original body with ghost Ephemer walks down the dark road to the dark realm (thats gonna be funny later cause Xehanort will split himself and walk the dark road, like guardian, like son).

Its makes so much no sense and how tf Player/Nuru survives that? No reason but plot armor and cause I can. If we get no lore I get it my own way with my over powered main character that doesn’t have canon face. They 100% the ruler of the dark realm and can beat anyone up. Extra points their body went through experiments so they far from the normal human limits :D

So when the time for Nuru to leave Xehanort its looks like they died but they just went back to their body self or whatever.

Meanwhile idk whatever going on with Blain, but he was confirmed missing and not dead so I bet he found his own way for the future (cough Luxu).

Post KH3 era(?)

Gonna ignore all what happened with Sora disappearing cause KH4 might not be coming at this point as well. Everyone are happy. Lauriam and Elrena are back and telling embarrassing stories about Ventus. Luxu is a good guy didn’t summon any of the foretellers and brought back Subject X from wherever he was hiding her. Booo MOM plan we ain’t gonna bother with that. That damn box gonna have data daybreak town or Brain himself in it. Brain somehow is back and suggests to do the same thing everyone did with the nobody kids to get a new bodies for all the sleeping dandelions. And also Ephemer, but thats after Player/Nuru will back. And bonding time with amnesia Skuld but nothing gets her memories up. With Ventus brain didn’t try cause Terra talked about how Ventus crashed out from pain when they first met. Brain shows a device that will help fiah Nuru back from the dark realm (the same old thing from Scala that could keep up with what walking around the dark realm). Nuru is back! Yayy Ephemer ghost merged with the other Ephemer ghost from the keyblade graveyard and they also do that time travel heart magic thing and now Ephemer is back too. Yay reunion! Trauma talking and bonding and the age of fairytale gang acting like everyones grandparents for the jokes of it.

Anyway So the key to bring wake up the dandelions is some that power of friendship type of magic + connecting with hearts like how Sora and Xehanort (and rip Baldr) can do. Nuru already did too much so Sora gonna get the honors, he is anyway besties with most of them. And Riku being a dream eater also helps a lot. While doing the big spell that spots the hearts and wake them up they discovered a felt a resonance with other hearts far away (hello is the Quadratum). And they will chose to go and explore it but thats not Nuru’s story anymore (they are gonna bring back Strelitzia tho). Dandelions are back and gotta get them back into society and being alive so that will take more of Nuru priorities. Nuru can get all nostalgic about their old party helping them to recover and socialize again and kinda heal a little bit with that.

Not bringing back that other Xehanort tho cause he just need a normal life let him stay there.

Ending words

So yeah thats most of it. I promise its better in my head when I listen to edits audios and Player goes around kicks ass and solving mysteries in Scala while having Ephemer as a ghost friend but the details are too much details I never really made anything strongly built up and its just ideas.

Gonna work more in details about the union cross life with their party and make the party ocs cause its easier for me to work with lore that already exists. While we know not much about missing link so I don’t wanna dive in too much in things I don’t know and not feeling comfortable enough to make shit up.

This took me an hour to write I think 😭
